Eric Bellinger and Sammie fans can officially catch the R&B stars live and in person beginning in March, thanks to their newly announced joint Vibes on Vibes Tour.

Announcing the tour in a post he shared on Instagram Tuesday (Jan. 11), Bellinger expressed his excitement to perform in front of fans amid the pandemic; the shows mark his onstage return for the first time in years. “For the past two years, I was restricted from connecting with y’all due to the pandemic,” he captioned his post. “But guess what…THE WAIT IS OVER!”

Sammie said in a statement, “Over the years I’ve built quite the rapport with Eric Bellinger. We embody the same DNA in regards to the genre of R&B … It was only right that we take our talents and catalogs on the road together; to deliver something passionate, intimate, up close and personal for the fans to enjoy.”

The 27-city musical adventure is set to kick off in Atlanta on Friday, March 11. After performing in major cities including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Portland, New Orleans and bustling New York, Grammy nominated Bellinger’s Vibes on Vibes Tour is slated to conclude in Birmingham, Ala.

Pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday (Jan. 12);  tickets go on sale to the public on Friday.

The tour comes in celebration of Bellinger’s Grammy nominated album, New Light.  The 15-song, 44-minute project is nominated for the 2022 Grammy Award for best progressive R&B album. Led by singles “Shine on the World,” “Go Get It” and “What About Us” featuring Sevyn Streeter, it also boasts star-studded features from Brandy, Teedra Moses, The Game, Kierra Sheard and Dom Kennedy.

Also ahead of the Vibes on Vibes Tour, Bellinger made his TV debut with his appearance on the CW’s  The Black Pack.  Bellinger also made his daytime talk show debut Jan. 5 on The Kelly Clarkson Show , where he performed the fan-favorite tune “What About Us.” Sammie is the hitmaker behind fan-favorite tunes including “You Should Be My Girl,” “Come With Me” and “Kiss Me Through the Phone.” He also released collaborative hits including “Times 10″ featuring Lil Baby and “Good Life” featuring Rick Ross.

GODSMACK Announces More Dates For 2024 'Vibez Tour'

GODSMACK will embark on the "Vibez Tour" in February 2024. The multi-platinum Grammy -nominated hard rock band is transforming its thunderous pyro-filled amphitheater rock show into a more intimate experience. The band is set to deliver a series of intimate evenings featuring acoustic/electric performances and untold stories in theatres across North America. The first leg is scheduled to begin on February 15 in Catoosa, Oklahoma, while the second leg will kick off April 9 in Valley Center, California.

Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, November 29) at 10 a.m. local time. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale starting Friday, December 1 at 10 a.m. local time.

Last month, GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna confirmed to "Chaz And AJ In The Morning" on the 99.1 PLR radio station in Connecticut that he and his bandmates would embark on a "stripped-down" U.S. tour in early 2024. But he was quick to point out: "Let me just make this clear — it's not strictly an acoustic tour, but it is the acoustic vibe. So we're going to do a 'vibez' tour; that's what I think we're even going to call it: the 'Vibez' tour. And what it is, is it's gonna be GODSMACK stripped down in theater settings. We're gonna bring a couple of additional musicians with us to fill it up — a keyboard player and an extra guitar player — and we're gonna not only play what we feel is the best of the GODSMACK songs that are translated well acoustically or like in a more vibey version — the 'Voodoo' s, the 'Serenity' s, 'Growing Old' off the new record, the ballad 'Truth' , 'Under Your Scars' , all those kinds of songs. But we're also gonna blend in some really cool covers. We're talking about doing things like 'No Quarter' by [ LED ] ZEPPELIN and doing some PINK FLOYD and really take people kind of on a musical journey and hybrid kind of what I did with the solo thing and with GODSMACK and just make it a really cool evening of music."

Sully said that the tour would be announced "soon." He explained: "This is gonna start ramping up by mid-February. We should make a pretty good dent in the States by mid-next year. And then we're talking about some plans to ramp up the big show again."

Regarding when he and his GODSMACK bandmates might be looking at taking some time off, Erna said: "Well, we're definitely gonna have '24 full. When it's time for a break, then we'll rethink things and figure out what we're gonna do and make that decision then."

Sully previously floated the possibility of a "stripped-down" tour in September in an interview with Jay Ramone of the Rock 100.5 The KATT radio station. At the time he said that GODSMACK 's plans "could include 'An Evening With' theater, stripped down, vibey kind of show in the late January, February months."

After Ramone asked Erna if he meant that the tour would be "somewhat acoustic-based", Sully responded: "Not necessarily. Just a different vibe. We haven't done it since '04. So it's been a while. But it's a cool, different whole look at the band and what we do; it's a whole different thing."

When GODSMACK last embarked on "An Evening With" tour nearly 20 years ago, the stripped down acoustic-based performance was aimed at showing the group in a different light and offering it the opportunity to play its music with different arrangements. The show featured the GODSMACK members performing while seated on stools, a la "MTV Unplugged" , and included some creative staging and lighting, dim candles and a few spooky props, Times Leader reported at the time.

GODSMACK kicked off its 2023 U.S. tour on May 4 at the 107.9 KBPI Birthday Bash at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado.

GODSMACK 's eighth studio album, "Lighting Up The Sky" was released in February via BMG . The LP was co-produced by Erna and Andrew "Mudrock" Murdock ( AVENGED SEVENFOLD , ALICE COOPER ).

The first single from "Lighting Up The Sky" , "Surrender" , which arrived in September 2022, marked the first release from GODSMACK in four years, following their globally acclaimed and gold-certified 2018 album "When Legends Rise" , which earned the Erna -fronted outfit a No. 1 spot across U.S. Hard Rock, Rock, and Alternative album charts.

In a recent interview with Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette , GODSMACK drummer Shannon Larkin was asked which kind of show — arena or smaller theater — is more challenging, more rewarding, more fun. He responded: "Each one of us has a fave environment, and the different energies from, say, 50,000 people at a festival as opposed to 2,000 in a theater are two different highs, each bringing unique feelings to us individually, but both just as satisfying as a performer. I personally prefer amphitheaters; my fave venue ever is Red Rocks Amphitheater."

GODSMACK “Vibez Tour” Won’t Be Only Acoustic: “There’s Gonna Be Electric Performances As Well”

Godsmack is trading arenas for more intimate vibes on their upcoming “Vibez Tour.” After a grueling year of big-show spectacles, frontman Sully Erna and his bandmates will take a change of pace in a series of acoustic/electric performances and untold stories in theatres across North America.

“The  ‘Vibez Tour’ , it’s almost kind of like a break from the big-show touring. We went out all last year and we worked a lot and it was the big show — it was the show that we did in the arenas and the amphitheaters. And when we go out with the big show, as people know, we have this big double-drum battle we do, there’s moving lighting and pyro and it’s just a big arena show like we grew up on when we were kids. It’s the kind of show I always wanted to put out there for the people. But as we get older, the body needs to heal .” Sully explained to The Mistress Carrie Podcast . “But we didn’t wanna take a break from when we wrapped up at the end of October until summer hits again when they open up amphitheaters and we start doing these big festival shows or whatever again. There’s just too much of a gap there. We wanna be loyal to our crew, so we wanna keep them working. And we also wanna kind of stay tuned up, but to try to do those kinds of shows in the winter, it just doesn’t make sense. So we wanted to come back to what we did back in — it was like ’03, ’04, right around the time we were doing the  Metallica  thing. And we did an acoustic tour in theaters.”

“People have asked us about when we would ever do that again for so long now — almost 20 years it’s been since we did that. So we decided, like, why not do a couple of quick runs, keep us tuned up, and play some of the other stuff that we don’t get to play on the big show? ‘Cause the big show fires up and you wanna hit people and make it the big rock songs, but there’s so many cool songs that we also enjoy playing from our catalog that we don’t ever get to do ’cause we don’t have time. So that this  ‘Vibez Tour’  is gonna be exactly that — we’re gonna set a vibe in the theater. Incense candles. We’re gonna bring in some of the old memorabilia from other tours, like the gargoyles that we had on the  “Awake”  tour and the brass sun that we used on the  “Faceless ” tour. And we’re gonna try to decorate the stage with all these elements and hopefully take people through the history of the band, so it becomes really cool vibey songs with some storytelling behind it that helps educate the new generation that’s been turned on to the band, and just give people a different experience of what else, the other side of what we do as a band.” Sully added.

But don’t worry, headbangers. Electric guitars will still make an appearance, according to Erna : “So it won’t be fully acoustic — there’s gonna be electric performances as well — but it’s gonna be a blend of all that: piano songs, acoustic songs, electric songs. We’re gonna mix in some really cool vibey covers. I don’t wanna give those away because we haven’t done ’em yet, for one, practiced them, so we wanna make sure that we can pull the ones we wanna do off. But I can tell you that it will fit in that same vibe of what we’re doing with the ‘Voodoo’s and the ‘Serenity’s and the ‘Spiral’s, and even some of the stuff on the new record, like  ‘ Growing Old’ and ‘Truth’ and ‘Under Your Scars’ and all that stuff. So we wanna just create like a really cool night of music and storytelling.”

R&B sensations Sammie and Eric Bellinger will embark on their first joint tour this Spring.

Bringing the  Vibes on Vibes  tour to a city near you, the duo’s co-headlining 27-city swoon fest kicks off this March in Atlanta and will wrap in Birmingham, Alabama in mid-April. The tour celebrates Bellinger garnering his first Grammy nomination as a solo artist for his latest studio album, New Light .  In addition to the tour, Sammie will be releasing new music dedicated to the sensuality of a woman. His new single, “Kitty Cry” is slated for release on Jan. 28th, and his new EP, Satin Sheets is set to arrive on Feb. 11th.

With  Satin Sheets , Sammie revealed in a statement provided to VIBE, “I have no heartbreak or pain to convey. I just want to love, make love, and be loved. I’ve never dedicated an entire project to being truly in the now which…in this moment, is a space of boldness, and confidence. It’s who I am. It’s been too long where a body of work just gave you a sense of calm, passion and sexy. ‘Satin Sheets’ is precisely that. We were put here to procreate. Continue the legacy. Champion companionship, it’s time for a man to be and exude the epitome of alpha and gentle aura simultaneously. So I present to you all, that part of me.”

He also recently made his small screen debut on CW’s The Black Pack  with Ne-Yo and Taye Diggs, as well as his daytime talk show debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where he performed his single “What About Us” sans Sevyn Streeter.

Sammie & Eric Bellinger Announce ‘Vibes On Vibes Tour’

Sammie and Eric Bellinger have sprung a new tour on us! Earlier today, the R&B crooners announced their now-anticipated joint run, the Vibes On Vibes Tour , which is set to begin in March.

The 27-city expedition will kick off at Atlanta, Georgia’s Center Stage on March 11th and make its last stop at Birmingham, Alabama’s Saturn on April 19th.

“For the last two years, I was restricted from connecting with y’all due to the pandemic,” Bellinger wrote in his Instagram post. “But guess what… THE WAIT IS OVER! I’m beyond excited to announce I’ll be going on tour with my homie @SammieAlways in March!”

Two heavyweights. Sharing the same stage. The ladies sure are in for a treat with this dynamic duo!

While Bellinger is coming off of the unveiling of his Grammy-nominated album, New Light , which was released in September of 2021, Sammie is gearing up for his new single, “P*ssy Cry,” that will make its way onto streaming platforms on January 28th. We can also expect his EP, Satin Sheets , to arrive on February 11th.

“I have no heartbreak or pain to convey. I just want to love, make love, and be loved. I’ve never dedicated an entire project to being truly in the now, which, in this moment, is a space of boldness, and confidence. It’s who I am,” Sammie told VIBE Magazine about the forthcoming music. “It’s been too long where a body of work just gave you a sense of calm, passion, and sexy. Satin Sheets is precisely that. We were put here to procreate. Continue the legacy. Champion companionship, it’s time for a man to be and exude the epitome of alpha and gentle aura simultaneously. So I present to you all, that part of me.”

Presale tickets for the Vibes On Vibes Tour  are now available through Spotify (use password: vibesonvibes). Venue presales will commence on Wednesday, January 12th. Normal sales are slated for Friday, the 14th.
