But, the terrain between Dili and Kupang is very steep, so much of the journey is spent climbing nd descending hills. The journey costs USD$23. Bought from the bus company, Paradise Tours in Futahada, Dili, Timor-Leste. Journey started with a check in at 0730 at Paradise Tours office. The bus had 12 seats, including the driver and was full for the leg to the border. It took about 3 hours to get to the border with West Timor, Indonesia. The journey was pleasant, with much of the road skirting the coast. We passed throught many villages and saw many small rice paddies. Transiting the border was a straightforwrd process and took about 60 minutes to get from one side to the other. After the border we stopped twice in Atambua, about 75 minutes from the border. First stop was to allow people change money into Indonesian Rupiah. Second stop was for a meal, at your own cost. There was a good menu and rice, veg and meat + tea cost USD$4.30 The road from the border to Kupang is seled and good condition but is narrow and winding. There are few views and the journey gets a bit monotonous. We arrived in Kupang at around 1930. The driver took all passengers to the stop of their choice in Kupang and dropped me at my hotel. Bus from Pittsburgh today was clean and appeared a newer bus... was only a few minutes late..not 4 hours like my bus ride from Columbus Ohio. Driver was exceptional, professional and very helpful to me. I'm elderly and injured... and needed assistance. I appreciate this type of quality service... please let driver know. 🙏

I only give it a 5 because the driver…

I only give it a 5 because the driver was so courteous, friendly and informative. Bus was very clean and only 6 people aboard. They Louisville station though, needs security 24/7. Russell is a dangerous and sketchy area of Louisville and the station is there.

I like it that Greyhound offers various trips to many destinations at every hour practically. Very convenient and safe to travel relatively speaking. The price is a bit high, but nothing unreasonable that you cannot afford getting. Wish that Greyhound provide discount or promotional codes on select travels or on special holidays or during some late night traveling hours. I really found their website very smooth and easy to navigate through. You simply input the basic information of your trip, such as number of passengers, if round trip or single ride, the destination from and to and vice versa (if it is round trip that you are doing); then you select the trips and hours that are convenient to you. I love being able to purchase a faster ride for a bit more money. Always I prefer to get to my destination early. Greyhound bus is a convenient and reliable way to travel. Greyhound services are always another option to using Amtrak train. I would probably ride with Greyhound in my future trips. I highly recommend it. Thanks

Conductor: Carter, From NYC to Dayton May, 10-11th 2024 Handled unpredicted traffic jams and route delays very well to keep us on our route. Also demonstrated supreme curiosity by allowing late arriving passengers on the bus after missing the departure time set before the rest break and was very kind a visually impaired elder who was in need of extra care and support to find her next bus connection. He remained bright and optimistic despite the pressure of being on a ridged schedule and being tracked by the other bus operation staff team members. And he made out trip very comfortable and convenient all the way to Pittsburgh. The rest of the way home, our bus operator Robert. He was a very pleasant and friendly overnight conductor and driver. He along with the rest of the bus operations crews made sure our belongings were safe and well kept while the bus was serviced and cleaned during our rest stop. It was a quiet and peaceful ride into Ohio as well a proof of maintained safety, security and efficiency of the Greyhound bus Compnay. Thank you for all of the kind considerations and gestures over my last few weeks of travel between New York and my home town of Xenia Ohio. It’s nice to be back home.

Great direct trip San Antonio to upper Kirby Houston

The driver spoke English, well presented in uniform and confident driver. Bus was excellent- clean, good aircon…not overcrowded! I enjoyed the trip- Wifi kept dropping though. It was on time- actually arrived ahead of schedule by about 15 minutes! Great experience!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, horrible drivers nasty dirty busses and my bus had a 12 hour delay. Greyhound Was bought by a company from China that own Flexibus. The bus drivers on Flexibus can barely speak English in at all! I will never ever travel Greyhound again and I will encourage people to think twice before using this disgraceful company.

Bus was trashed

Bus was trashed. Bathroom was dirty. Bus driver was rude. I don’t normal type reviews, but when I was at the Atlanta stop I was waiting outside & a group of “men” were fighting. They were fighting right infront of me & kept pushing me around. Also two people on wheelchairs were next to me too. So they were screaming. The “greyhound” security did nothing but stared & recorded. Ridiculous.

Had a glitch in my plans due to bridge closing.

I had a very pleasant ride but I had bought a round trip ticket and unfortunately the bridge was closed from Indiana to Louisville and I missed my bus and there was no way I could get my money back so that really frustrated me. However I am taking my bus tomorrow morning so hopefully all will be well.

The booking experience was easy

The booking experience was easy, I just think they are price gouging with seat selection. They give the option to pay 4.99 to select your seat or 18 and some change to ride without a person sitting next to you, but when you select the later, they charge you for both.

This was the worst customer service…

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My bus departure was delayed over 2 hours and no information was given about an eta. According to Greyhound refund policy, if your bus is delayed more than 120 minutes you can request a refund, however my request was denied. I called and talked to a customer service representative who was unhelpful and outright rude. I will not be traveling with Greyhound again.

Horribly disappointed do not use the service The bus never showed up from my…

The bus never showed up from my departure location at UCLA. I was stranded there. There was a homeless person with luggage she was going to Santa Barbara. She was stranded. I end up taking the train to go to Ventura. I almost missed my hotel reservations. I spoke to customer service barely spoke English. Horrible service do not use this form of transportation. Shame on

Save travel time and money

Buying my Greyhound ticket was so easy and I got to reserve my seat too. Was going to fly until I learned it was going to take longer with layovers. My trip time is cut in half even with a 2 hr transfer wait time. The $500+ flight expense was a nice savings too. Will update with travel experience 😉

Greyhound "is (NOT) on their way"

Bus departed THREE hours late! I got to New York City at 11:30pm at night- not 7:15pm as stated on my ticket. Was on the streets of Brooklyn- trying to get to my destination at 1am in the morning. On my return trip, bus went local- stopping at at least TEN places that were not listed on my ticket. Between the mechanical failures and the poor quality/conditions of the bus- the ticket was not worth the expensive price (over $100). Not planning to travel with Greyhound again anytime soon.

The “greyhound” security did nothing but stared & recorded. Ridiculous.

Had a glitch in my plans due to bridge closing.

I had a very pleasant ride but I had bought a round trip ticket and unfortunately the bridge was closed from Indiana to Louisville and I missed my bus and there was no way I could get my money back so that really frustrated me. However I am taking my bus tomorrow morning so hopefully all will be well.

The booking experience was easy

The booking experience was easy, I just think they are price gouging with seat selection. They give the option to pay 4.99 to select your seat or 18 and some change to ride without a person sitting next to you, but when you select the later, they charge you for both.

This was the worst customer service…

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My bus departure was delayed over 2 hours and no information was given about an eta. According to Greyhound refund policy, if your bus is delayed more than 120 minutes you can request a refund, however my request was denied. I called and talked to a customer service representative who was unhelpful and outright rude. I will not be traveling with Greyhound again.

The bus never showed up from my departure location at UCLA. I was stranded there. There was a homeless person with luggage she was going to Santa Barbara. She was stranded. I end up taking the train to go to Ventura. I almost missed my hotel reservations. I spoke to customer service barely spoke English. Horrible service do not use this form of transportation. Shame on

Save travel time and money

Buying my Greyhound ticket was so easy and I got to reserve my seat too. Was going to fly until I learned it was going to take longer with layovers. My trip time is cut in half even with a 2 hr transfer wait time. The $500+ flight expense was a nice savings too. Will update with travel experience 😉

Greyhound "is (NOT) on their way"

Bus departed THREE hours late! I got to New York City at 11:30pm at night- not 7:15pm as stated on my ticket. Was on the streets of Brooklyn- trying to get to my destination at 1am in the morning. On my return trip, bus went local- stopping at at least TEN places that were not listed on my ticket. Between the mechanical failures and the poor quality/conditions of the bus- the ticket was not worth the expensive price (over $100). Not planning to travel with Greyhound again anytime soon.

Unannounced Bus Rescheduling and Unresolved Seat Selection Issue

The company rescheduled the 3:50 pm bus to another time, 11:45 am, without informing us of the reason, and we later managed to change the bus time to 6:30 pm, which was convenient for us. Moreover, the company did not refund the amount for seat selection when we were allotted different seats on the rescheduled bus. Both the customer representatives that we talked to at the toll-free number about this matter were not courteous and responsible enough to solve the issue and, at the bare minimum, were only able to reschedule the bus at a time convenient to us after so much debate.

I haven't taken Greyhound since my undergrad days decades ago, but it's nice to have it as a resource for my college age nieces and nephews now. Booking online was obviously completely new for me and it was seamless and worry free! Good to see an old dog learning new tricks!

Driver was exceptional, professional and very helpful to me. I'm elderly and injured... and needed assistance. I appreciate this type of quality service... please let driver know. 🙏

I only give it a 5 because the driver was so courteous, friendly and informative. Bus was very clean and only 6 people aboard. They Louisville station though, needs security 24/7. Russell is a dangerous and sketchy area of Louisville and the station is there.

I like it that Greyhound offers various trips to many destinations at every hour practically. Very convenient and safe to travel relatively speaking. The price is a bit high, but nothing unreasonable that you cannot afford getting. Wish that Greyhound provide discount or promotional codes on select travels or on special holidays or during some late night traveling hours. I really found their website very smooth and easy to navigate through. You simply input the basic information of your trip, such as number of passengers, if round trip or single ride, the destination from and to and vice versa (if it is round trip that you are doing); then you select the trips and hours that are convenient to you. I love being able to purchase a faster ride for a bit more money. Always I prefer to get to my destination early. Greyhound bus is a convenient and reliable way to travel. Greyhound services are always another option to using Amtrak train. I would probably ride with Greyhound in my future trips. I highly recommend it. Thanks

Conductor: Carter, From NYC to Dayton May, 10-11th 2024 Handled unpredicted traffic jams and route delays very well to keep us on our route. Also demonstrated supreme curiosity by allowing late arriving passengers on the bus after missing the departure time set before the rest break and was very kind a visually impaired elder who was in need of extra care and support to find her next bus connection. He remained bright and optimistic despite the pressure of being on a ridged schedule and being tracked by the other bus operation staff team members. And he made out trip very comfortable and convenient all the way to Pittsburgh. The rest of the way home, our bus operator Robert. He was a very pleasant and friendly overnight conductor and driver. He along with the rest of the bus operations crews made sure our belongings were safe and well kept while the bus was serviced and cleaned during our rest stop. It was a quiet and peaceful ride into Ohio as well a proof of maintained safety, security and efficiency of the Greyhound bus Compnay. Thank you for all of the kind considerations and gestures over my last few weeks of travel between New York and my home town of Xenia Ohio. It’s nice to be back home.

Great direct trip San Antonio to upper Kirby Houston

The driver spoke English, well presented in uniform and confident driver. Bus was excellent- clean, good aircon…not overcrowded! I enjoyed the trip- Wifi kept dropping though. It was on time- actually arrived ahead of schedule by about 15 minutes! Great experience!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, horrible drivers nasty dirty busses and my bus had a 12 hour delay. Greyhound Was bought by a company from China that own Flexibus. The bus drivers on Flexibus can barely speak English in at all! I will never ever travel Greyhound again and I will encourage people to think twice before using this disgraceful company.

Bus was trashed. Bathroom was dirty. Bus driver was rude. I don’t normal type reviews, but when I was at the Atlanta stop I was waiting outside & a group of “men” were fighting. They were fighting right infront of me & kept pushing me around. Also two people on wheelchairs were next to me too. So they were screaming. The “greyhound” security did nothing but stared & recorded. Ridiculous.

This was the worst customer service…

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My bus departure was delayed over 2 hours and no information was given about an eta. According to Greyhound refund policy, if your bus is delayed more than 120 minutes you can request a refund, however my request was denied. I called and talked to a customer service representative who was unhelpful and outright rude. I will not be traveling with Greyhound again.

My seat was reserved and someone was sitting in them and I asked bus driver could he assist with the issue. He proceeded to say he really wasn’t supposed to be the return driver from Greenbay to surrounding area of Wisconsin.

Just ordered a ticket for my mother as it was easy since she isn’t phone savvy it was easy for me to purchase it online and send her the information while we are many states away now to see how the ride goes.

The bus never showed up from my departure location at UCLA. I was stranded there. There was a homeless person with luggage she was going to Santa Barbara. She was stranded. I end up taking the train to go to Ventura. I almost missed my hotel reservations. I spoke to customer service barely spoke English. Horrible service do not use this form of transportation. Shame on

Save travel time and money

Buying my Greyhound ticket was so easy and I got to reserve my seat too. Was going to fly until I learned it was going to take longer with layovers. My trip time is cut in half even with a 2 hr transfer wait time. The $500+ flight expense was a nice savings too. Will update with travel experience 😉

Greyhound "is (NOT) on their way"

Bus departed THREE hours late! I got to New York City at 11:30pm at night- not 7:15pm as stated on my ticket. Was on the streets of Brooklyn- trying to get to my destination at 1am in the morning. On my return trip, bus went local- stopping at at least TEN places that were not listed on my ticket. Between the mechanical failures and the poor quality/conditions of the bus- the ticket was not worth the expensive price (over $100). Not planning to travel with Greyhound again anytime soon.
