What does a dorm room look like at knox college.

There are different dorm buildings at Knox College. One building is Post Hall which has suites for freshmen and upperclassmen. There is a lobby where students can lounge and watch TV. There is also a convenience store. The suite will have a common area with clusters of rooms in each corner. There will be a couch and tables in the common area, as well as a coffee table. The suite has a dining table and chairs where students can eat or study. Bathrooms are shared by four or five students. There is a full bathtub, a shower, and a toilet. Each student has a bed, a dresser, a desk, and a chair. Plan a Knox College dorm tour.

Last year, I did a dorm tour of my Knox College dorm. I'm in a different building this year so I am doing another dorm tour. I'm living in Post Hall. I am currently the RA of one of the first-year suites. There are 6 suites that are for upperclassmen and they can be co-ed. Those are across the hall.

That is the lobby. It is a casual lounge space. They have a TV in there. There's also a convenience store where you can buy snacks. There’s a grab-and-go which is available during breakfast and lunch hours during the school week. That’s where you can get food. It's more of a fast-food kind of place rather than a cafeteria.

I am going to show you what the actual suites look like. This is the common room area. There are four clusters of rooms in each corner of the suite. There's the entrance into the suites. You come in and you see this big, common space. You're provided with a couch and end tables. You can see that one with the lamp on it. You get a coffee table and a couple of comfy chairs. This is very similar to the dorm I filmed last year.

Over here is a dining table with some chairs. If you take a step back and look at the suite from the other side, you get these beautiful windows. They're so tall and they span essentially all the way up to the top of the second story which is incredible. It really provides a lot of sunlight and it feels so open.

I'm going to go into the admission room which is in this cluster right over here. If you come through here, there are two bedrooms. You're always provided with a desk and a chair. Each side has that. These beds are nice and made up because it's the showroom. Each person will also get a dresser. You have all of the furniture here so it's a little bit cluttered. You do have a big space in the center of the room and also a little bit of room in front of your closet. The closets provide you with even more space where you can keep things.

The bathrooms are a bit different sometimes. This bathroom has a regular door so you have privacy. I personally really like this better than having communal-style bathrooms. There is a sink here and cabinets for storage. There are four to five people sharing per bathroom. In my experience, people will keep their toiletries in the cabinets. You get a full bathtub and a shower. You have a small toilet over here.

My room is quite messy because I'm packing. You’ve seen a double but there are singles here as well. That’s a single over there. There are five people sharing this bathroom here. This is what you can expect if you are living in Post Hall. That is what the double rooms are going to look like no matter what building you're in.
