Why did Adele divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki? What singer has said ahead of new album 30’s release date

Before Easy On Me was released, Adele spoke frankly in the British and American editions of Vogue about her split from charity boss husband Simon Konecki in 2019.

She will be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey as part of a two-hour special called One Night Only on US network CBS on November 14.

In 2017 Adele was forced to cancel her last two shows of her tour due to vocal injuries.

When is the concert?

The singer confirmed the tour dates on social media, sharing a picture of herself and the words Hyde Park.

They will take place on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 July 2022.

How do I get tickets?

Tickets will be on general sale from October 30, while fans can sign up at adele.com from October 26 to access a pre-sale which starts on October 28 at 10am.

When can we expect to hear more of the album?

Easy on Me is the first track from her album ’30’ which will be released on November 19.

It is about her break up with Simon Konecki, which happened when she was 30.

She said of the album: “I was certainly nowhere near where I’d hoped to be when I started it three years ago. Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet, there I was knowingly – willingly, even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil.

“I’ve learnt a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers, but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt so peaceful in my life.

“And so I’m ready to finally put this album out.”

The singer then described the work as her “ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life”.

And she then described it as a “friend” that “narrates” how she has “painstakingly rebuilt my house and heart”.

Adele Announces First Concerts in Five Years for Summer 2022 in London

Adele will perform in London's Hyde Park on July 1 and 2 next year

Adele is returning to the stage!

The 33-year-old singer revealed on Twitter Tuesday that she will perform twice in London's Hyde Park in July 2022, her first shows since 2017, per CNN.

"Oiii Oiiiiiiiiiiiii," Adele wrote with a heart emoji, dropping details on presale ticket information for the July 1 and 2, 2022 shows. Fans can follow the link to a page with the official music video for her new single "Easy on Me." Once there, those interested are able to sign up for Hyde Park presale access, which will open on Thursday at 5 a.m. EST.

In her tweet, Adele also added art for her upcoming album 30, slated for release Nov. 19. The 15-time Grammy winner's fourth album is due to arrive nearly six years to the day since she released her last record, 25.

The July shows next year are part of BST Hyde Park's summer series, with other concerts set to star Elton John , Pearl Jam and Duran Duran.

When announcing 30 to the world earlier this month, Adele said she started working on the album nearly three years ago — and was in a completely different place than she expected to be.

"I was certainly nowhere near where I'd hoped to be when I first started it nearly 3 years ago," the hitmaker said in a statement at the time. "Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet there I was knowingly – willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil!"

The "Hello" singer wrote that she'd "learned a lot of blistering truths" about herself along the way, but was finally in a place where she feels comfortable releasing her music to the world.

She and ex-husband Simon Konecki finalized their divorce in March , nearly two years after they first split. In an Instagram Live, she said the theme of the album would be "divorce, babe, divorce."

"I feel like I've finally found my feeling again. I'd go as far as to say that I've never felt more peaceful in my life," she explained. "And so, I'm ready to finally put this album out."

The singer kicked off her Adele Live 2016 world tour six years ago, but wrapped early in July 2017, canceling her final two performances at London's Wembley Stadium after hurting her vocal cords, BBC reported .

At the time, Adele said she was "devastated" to have to do so after putting on two of "the biggest and best shows of my life" earlier in the week at Wembley, her June 28, 2017 concert attended by 98,000 - "a stadium record for a U.K. music event," per the outlet.

Adele comeback single Easy On Me review

Falling slowly and undramatically out of love with the father of your child, breaking up amicably, and buying him a house across the street from you is hardly standard fodder for a break-up ballad. But Adele has never really gone in for broad-strokes emotions. On “Easy On Me”, her first single in six years, the world’s finest chronicler of heartbreak is neither victim nor villain; instead, she addresses her nine-year-old son, attempting to explain to him why she chose to take apart the life he knew.

“Go easy on me, baby,” sings the 33-year-old in that big, raspy voice – it feels good to have it back – over an elegiac piano redolent of Taylor Swift and Justin Vernon’s in “Exile”. “I was still a child/ Didn’t get the chance to feel the world around me.”

Adele reveals her prized possession is a piece of Celine Dion’s chewing gum

Last week we were treated to an interesting (kind of gross) revelation, that Adele ’s “prized possession” is a used bit of chewing gum from Celine Dion.

Sitting down with Vogue for their 73 Questions video series, Adele unveiled a framed piece of the Canadian singer’s chewing gum.

She said about the gum: “It’s pretty amazing.”

Adele also revealed that James Corden obtained it for her: “James Corden — who’s a friend of mine but also does Carpool Karaoke , which I did — did one with her. He knew how much of a fan I was of her and he made her spit her gum into a piece of paper and she framed it for me.”

The “Easy on Me” singer added: “That’s my proudest possession.”

Adele fans react after noticing easter eggs in new music video for Easy on Me

Adele ’s new music video reflects on the past in more ways than one thanks to the references to previous singles.

A lot has happened in the British singer’s life since she last released music, including a divorce from Simon Konecki , which was finalised earlier this year.

However, Adele has poured everything into her forthcoming record, 30 , the first song of which was released on Friday (15 October) at midnight.

Fans were quick to point out that Adele referenced previous songs in the video for “Easy on Me”, which, at the time of writing, has been viewed on YouTube almost 12 million times in just eight hours.

Adele Has Finally Announced Two Major UK Tour Dates

Here’s how to get your hands on tickets.

The singer Adele performs on stage during RTL's end-of-year review '2015! Menschen, Bilder, Emotione...

With the release of her long-awaited single “ Easy On Me ” last Friday (Oct. 15), Adele’s return to the music industry is officially underway. The song has already broken all sorts of records , including becoming Spotify’s top track for single-day streaming , and is on its way to debut at Number 1 in the UK charts.

While the actual release of her album is a month away, the excitement is certainly real among fans and music lovers. Set to be released on Nov. 19 , many are already wondering whether Adele will begin promoting the record on the road this year and the next.

While the singer is yet to announce a fully blown tour, she will be performing two shows at BST Hyde Park on Friday 1 July and Saturday 2 July in 2022. Her first shows in the UK since 2017, Adele is understandably buzzing about it . “Oiii Oiiiiiiiiiiiii” the singer wrote on Instagram following the announcement.

Joining the likes of Pearl Jam, Duran Duran, and Elton John, general sale tickets for Adele’s BST Hyde Park 2022 will be avaliable on Saturday, Oct. 30 via AXS and Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. If you want to bag tickets earlier than that, you can sign up for pre-sale on Adele’s official site. These will be available at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28.

But if you were hoping to see the singer on an actual tour in the near future, her schedule is looking quite uncertain thanks to the ongoing pandemic.

“I don’t have solid plans because of COVID, it’s so hard to play a global tour in person,” the singer told Zoe Ball on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show. “I don’t want to be cancelling anything again,” Adele said, referencing the cancellation of her last two Wembley shows in 2017 due to a vocal cord injury.

However, she and her team do have “a few options in the pipeline” but it’s taking them some time to figure out which are the “most doable” due to the different rules in place across the country , as well as the rates of infection and vaccination.

View on Instagram

“It makes me nervous trying to plan a world tour globally when no one’s really on the same page,” Adele told Hits Radio’s Fleur East. “As long as I get to do something – I’m good.”

You better keep your eyes out on the tube, though, because Adele joked about about the potential of busking on the tube for London’s rush hour crowd. “Do you know what, she made £5.20 in a whole afternoon,” Ball responded, with Adele in hysterics.

There is no doubt that Adele is back. Less than two weeks after the release of Easy On Me , the English singer has announced back-to-back London concert dates.

Adele is set to take the stage in Hyde Park in the British capital, on July 1 and 2. Fans can sign up for presale tickets at adele.com .

The concerts will support her coming album, 30 , which is set for release on November 19. The album is about her divorce from American charity executive Simon Konecki, according to the singer.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Adele (@adele)

Of the album, Adele says she wrote it as she “painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart” and “this album narrates it”.

“I was certainly nowhere near where I’d hoped to be when I first started [ 30 ] nearly three years ago. Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet there I was knowingly – willingly even – throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil.”

Adele last released music in 2015, with the album 25 , which included singles Hello, When We Were Young, Send My Love (To Your New Lover) and Water Under the Bridge. Adele described 25 as a "make-up" album, a contrast to her previous releases about heartbreak.

See Adele Return to the Stage for First Public Concert in 5 Years

  • By Daniel Kreps

Daniel Kreps

Adele returned to the stage Friday for her first concert of 2022 — and her first public show of the 30 era — at London’s Hyde Park.

“My God, I’m back at home,” Adele told the sold-out hometown crowd after her show-opening performance of “Hello.” “It’s so strange to be in front of a crowd again. I get so nervous before each show but I love being up here.”

The singer, who last performed at the Brit Awards in Feb., delivered an 18-song setlist filled with hits from all four of her studio LPs, plus “Skyfall” and her rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love.”

In addition to the first performance of 21 songs like “Rumour Has It” and “I’ll Be Waiting” for the first time in five years, the Hyde Park gig also featured the debut live performance of 30 ’s “Oh My God.”

The Hyde Park shows — Adele will return to the British Summer Time event Saturday night as well — marked her first concerts in public in five years, when she played London’s Wembley Stadium in June 2017; Adele hosted a pair of pre- 30 performances in the lead-up to that LP, but those gigs were private, televised events .

Adele had previously planned on returning to the stage for her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas from January to April, but those shows were postponed the day before opening night due to “delivery delays” that made the shows seem “ really half-assed ,” she said.

“Listen, I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready. We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid,” an emotional Adele said at the time. “Half my crew, half my team are down with Covid — they still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show, and I can’t give you what I have right now and I’m gutted.”

As of now, the Vegas residency has still not been rescheduled, and Saturday night’s Hyde Park gig is the only show remaining on Adele’s 2022 live itinerary.

Adele Dazzles at Homecoming Concert in Hyde Park: ‘London, I Love You So Much’

postponed residency las vegas burning questions caesars

First things first: Adele showed up.

And in many ways, that was the biggest hurdle Adele had to clear on her way to triumphing at the first of two shows at London’s American Express Presents BST Hyde Park festival.

You see, the last time Adele headlined a massive outdoor run in her hometown, in 2017, she canceled the last two shows of her scheduled four-night Wembley Stadium stint after damaging her vocal cords. In fact, this was her first full live show since then.

More recently, there was the small matter of her Las Vegas residency, scrapped at the very last minute, leaving many British fans stranded in Sin City. So when Adele posted “Who’s ready for tomorrow?” on Instagram ahead of this huge show, many people’s retort might well have been along the lines of, “Let’s hope you’re ready…”

Add in some complaints over the cost of some tickets for these two 65,000-capacity gigs (although they were hardly out of line with other major concerts) and the general feeling that Adele – once as London as jellied eels – might have ‘gone all L.A.,’ her adopted home, and you have reasons for the first flickerings of, well, not hometown fury exactly. But definitely some good, old-fashioned British grumbling about the U.K.’s biggest star potentially losing touch with her roots.

None of that stopped the scalpers coming out in force, their mantra of, “Tickets for Adele, buy or sell” echoing around the approach to Hyde Park. Nor, apparently, did it prevent hundreds of fans turning up to listen to her soundcheck from outside the fence earlier in the day, or the likes of Cameron Diaz, Tom Cruise and James Corden from scoring tickets for her first show back.

But the signs were that tonight would not necessarily conform to the straightforward “returning superstar triumphs in hometown” narrative you’d expect. Until, that is, Adele started singing.

She emerged with minimal fanfare, clad in elegant black gown and statement earrings, singing “Hello.” But she barely got through the first line before exclaiming, “I’m so happy to be here!” and asking the crowd for some vocal assistance.

From that point on, the audience was fully on her side, the words to every heartbreak anthem echoing back along the seemingly endless rows of fans enjoying the evening sunshine.

But Adele worked them anyway. “It’s strange to be in front of a crowd again,” she said at one point but, in truth, she remains a natural. It’s become something of a cliché to suggest that her between-song banter contains as many hits as the actual musical element of the set, but it’s true.

It is certainly difficult to imagine any other global superstar announcing, “I’m fucking shitting myself!” as Adele did before a boisterous “I Drink Wine,” all exaggerated eyebrow raises and gurning to the fans who looked like they’d been following the song title’s advice to the letter. But neither could many other singers pull off her cruise ship compering style, reading the signs held aloft in the crowd and congratulating people on birthdays, anniversaries, “divorce parties,” exam results (“I failed all my exams and I’m doing alright”) or simply for making it here from such far-flung locations as Brazil, New Zealand and the United States.

One fan even mentions Wembley. “Were you coming to the shows I canceled?” she asks, aghast. “It’s the fifth anniversary, innit? I wasn’t going to bring it up…”

Most of the exchanges were less awkward. In fact, as she nattered away about staying up late to binge “Stranger Things,” her enjoyment of Britney Spears memes or taking her son to see Billie Eilish at the O2 Arena (“She was impeccable”), it was easy to forget you weren’t at a stand-up gig or a variety show down your local pub. Or at least it was if you could hear her – the cries of “Turn it up! Turn it up!” from outside the golden circle could be clearly heard above her chat, although seemingly not by Adele herself.

But still, at regular intervals, a major concert broke out. In recent years, Adele has seemed to save her most spectacular vocals for her weakest songs, but few stops were left un-pulled as “Skyfall” (after Adele halted it the first time, so security could help someone in the crowd) and “Easy on Me” reminded everyone of what a powerhouse, show-stopping singer she remains.

This may be just as well. In an age when even Ed Sheeran’s tours feature revolving stages and multiple effects, most of Adele’s set relied firmly on her voice to provide the fireworks. And she did – performing “All I Ask”, “Make You Feel My Love” (a spontaneous, unrehearsed selection not included on the initial setlist) and “Someone Like You” along the runway, backed only by a piano and 65,000 voices.

“As you probably know, I don’t have many up-tempo bangers,” she said at one point. But in fact, the ones she does have were amongst the highlights – a brassy “Rumor Has It,” a swinging “Oh My God” and a soaring “Set Fire to the Rain” reminding the crowd that this was a festival, rather than a more intimate soiree.

The latter even saw the special effects kick in, as someone took the title literally (Adele songs seem to have that effect on people) and a combination of real fire and fake rain sent black plumes of smoke billowing across Hyde Park. Patriotic red, white and blue confetti followed as an irresistible “Rolling in the Deep” closed the main set.

By the encore, Adele was ready to (obliquely) address the elephants in the, er, field. “I know a lot of things have happened with this album, I know a lot of you feel let down and I’m mortified,” she said, without giving specifics, after a gloriously emotional “When We Were Young.” “But I take my music very seriously and I had to do that.”

Whether that will appease those still waiting for Vegas to happen remains to be seen but, in the field, it seemed more than enough to restore Adele’s woman of the people status, as rapturous applause broke out.

“London, I love you so much,” she smiled in response. “So much.” And the feeling was clearly mutual. As a final, string-drenched “Love Is a Game” drifted across the fields, some actual fireworks lit up the crowd and more confetti arrived. This time, it was pink and red hearts, perfectly symbolizing the renewed love affair between the U.K.’s capital and its prodigal daughter.

Because in the end, Adele did what she (nearly) always does: she showed up, she sang, and she conquered.

Adele website 'crashes' as singer announces BST Hyde Park London shows for 2022 - which will be her first in five years

Adele has announced she will perform in London in 2022 in what will be her first live shows in five years - with some fans reporting her website has "crashed" already before the tickets are even on sale.

The 33-year-old singer, whose high-profile comeback single Easy On Me broke records when it debuted at number one last week, with the highest first-week streams of any track in chart history, will play at Hyde Park in July.

Adele shared the news on Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday morning with a simple "Oiii Oiiiiiiiiiiiii" message signposting fans to register for a presale on her website.

However, within an hour of the star's message, many fans were saying they had been unable to register for the presale on Thursday, such was demand, and some getting a "currently unavailable - please try again later" message.

"How am I supposed to get Adele tickets when I've been trying to sign up to presale since 8.30am," one fan posted after more than an hour of trying.

"Given how difficult I've just found it to sign up for the presale for Adele's London concert, I'm not holding out much hope for actually getting tickets, but, well, SO EXCITIIIIINNNGGG," said another.

"Spent nearly an hour trying to sign up to @Adele presale and it just won't let me," another fan posted.

Adele will play at Hyde Park on 1 and 2 July 2022 as part of next year's BST Hyde Park festival, which will also feature performances from Sir Elton John , Duran Duran and Pearl Jam. The festival returns after being forced to cancel in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Easy On Me, released on 15 October, is on track to top the UK single charts for a second week, the Official Charts Company said on Sunday, and the star's album, 30, will no doubt top the charts when it is released in November.

The singer has marked her comeback with two high-profile interviews in the British and American editions of Vogue , in which she spoke candidly about her split from her ex-husband, charity boss husband Simon Konecki, in 2019.

Undated handout photo issued by Columbia Records of singer Adele who has released comeback single Easy On Me, her first track in six years, which is taken from her upcoming album, 30, which will be released in November. Issue date: Friday October 15, 2021.

She said she made the record for her son, Angelo. "I just felt like I wanted to explain to him, though this record, when he's in his 20s or 30s, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness," she said.

"It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that's a real wound for me that I don't know if I'll ever be able to heal."

Adele will also be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey as part of a two-hour special called One Night Only on US network CBS on 14 November.

Tickets for her Hyde Park gigs will be on general sale from 30 October, while the presale starts on 28 October at 10am.

The time is nearly approaching for Adele to make her live comeback on British shores, five years after the end of her last tour here, where she played two final shows at London's Wembley Arena.

In lieu of a proper tour in support of Adele's blockbuster return record 30, she will instead be headlining the first weekend of the annual BST at Hyde Park concert series.

Check below for all the information we have about the shows, from Adele's setlist in full, to the roster of acts supporting her earlier in the day; from SELF ESTEEM to Kacey Musgraves .

Her residency at The Colosseum Caesar's Palace Hotel was due to begin in January 2022, but it's so far been postponed indefinitely with no set date for a return. Adele has promised it  is still going ahead, however, and is expected to confirm new dates before the end of the year.

Are tickets for Adele's Las Vegas residency still available to buy?

Due to the shows being re-scheduled, you can not buy any tickets for Adele's Las Vegas residency. However, if you did grab a ticket before the shows were cancelled, hold on to it as they will be valid for the new, as-yet-unannounced dates.

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins is one of the most celebrated vocalists alive today. Her uniquely powerful voice, exceptional vocal talent, songwriting expertise, and relentless drive to improve her craft have cemented her firmly at the top of the music industry – and the charts.

Adele’s impressive songwriting credits, long list of music awards, and consistently sold-out tours are testaments to her widespread fame. Since her debut in 2007, no one can deny she is one of the best vocalists of our time.

Before Adele became a powerhouse musician, she honed her skills during her childhood in London, UK. Adele held a deep passion for singing and refining her vocals from the age of four, which eventually led her to the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. She spent her school years diving deeper into music creation, learning songwriting and guitar. Soon enough, her pathway to success was well within reach.

Following graduation, Adele took the next step toward securing a solid record deal. She quickly landed a recording contract with the UK’s XL Recordings in 2006. Her 2007 single “Hometown Glory” provided a sneak peek of what Adele was capable of. New listeners couldn’t deny her strong, powerful singing range as she belted out her best on the breakthrough track.

Her rise began earnestly when “Chasing Pavements” hit the radio waves in 2008. It slid smoothly onto the UK charts and set the tone for her debut album 19. Adele’s signature sound made waves in mainstream media. She had the voice, songwriting skills, and full-fledged potential to become the next certified phenom.

Because of 19’s undeniable versatility, Adele earned two Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2009. The stakes were high for the songstress’s follow-up projects, but thanks to Adele’s staple work ethic and natural talent, she tackled her next era with grace.

In 2011, Adele stepped away from her usual ballads with “Rolling in the Deep,” delivering pop-friendly, blues-inspired beats. As the single soared in popularity on the radio and internationally, so did Adele’s star status. Her sophomore studio album 21 dropped in 2011, bringing with it multiple smash hits. With “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You,” and “Set Fire to the Rain” all topping charts, Adele became the first female artist to have three simultaneous singles in the Billboard top 10. At the next year’s Grammys, Adele took home all six awards she was nominated for, becoming the only woman to ever do so other than Beyoncé.

Adele entered 2015 with more Grammys and renewed vigor under her belt. After nearly eight years since her official debut, the artist was ready to take on her title as one of this generation’s greatest popstars. She effortlessly segued into her next project by releasing the smash hit “Hello.” The single’s nostalgia, regret, and wistfulness weaved their way into listeners’ hearts and laid the groundwork for her next album 25.

With the help of “Hello” and Adele’s impeccable vocal range, 25 was one of the best-selling albums in 2015. It was no easy feat, especially with other top-notch artists like One Direction, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna also releasing new music. However, Adele’s presence pushed forward and remained steady on the worldwide charts.

Her most recent LP 30, released in 2021, continued to take the world by storm. Adele broke new ground as she sang about motherhood, depression, and divorce. It was a candid look into the artist’s private life, unveiling her struggles during the past six years.

Like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears, Adele joins the long list of artists who have made themselves comfortable at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas as performers-in-residence.

As Adele’s discography grows, so does her popularity. Her breathtaking voice, devotion to her creative development, and work on upcoming albums keep her at the top of her game.

Adele continues to tour and perform live. Like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears, Adele joins the long list of artists who have made themselves comfortable at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas as performers-in-residence.

Live reviews

(Adèle in Ziggodome 6-6-2016)

"Make You Feel My Love" blijft bijzonder als cover, hulde ook aan Bob Dylan.

The journey from the center of the arena to the main stage was lit by camera phones and shrieks of joy. Once there, “Hello” transitioned into “Hometown Glory”. London landmarks gave way to the Denver skyline, as the lyrics changed from ‘my hometown’ to ‘your hometown.’ What could have come across as gimmicky at some mainstream country show, somehow rang true as an honest tribute to the city in which Adele was an honored guest. The cynic in me didn’t want to show any emotion, but there was something so enchanting about the way she sang “the wonders of my world”, while images of the Rocky Mountains towered above her, that I just couldn’t help myself. It had been less than ten minutes since she had first appeared and I was already powerless against her charm.

“How many of you did not want to come tonight?”

(only someone with extreme self-confidence would ask that question, so when a few men confirmed, she had the perfect response.)

“Thank you for being a good sport and making my show sold out.”

Speaking as one of those people who don’t listen to Adele’s music on a regular basis, my biggest complaint is the lack of variation across her songs. There is no denying that voice of hers, but I feel like her albums are very vanilla. I do believe her lack of range is by design though. Keeping it safe is what has allowed her to appeal to so many, while offending so few. Last night didn’t exactly change my mind when it came to her songs, but her tremendous personality and sense of humor provided a depth that I wasn’t aware of before. She could have performed the entire concert solo and I would have been entertained. The fact that the screen eventually dropped after “One and Only”, exposing twenty musicians, including a whole crew of extraordinary backup singers, just added to the spectacle.

“My music isn’t that much fun…I hope you knew that.

I do have a couple upbeat ones…

let’s get them out of the way, so we can cry.”

Self-confidence gave way to self-awareness as the crowd came alive for “Rumour Has It” — one of the few songs you could actually dance to. There was a very classic feel to the presentation. The stage was framed in solid light, while Adele’s image projected in black-and-white like some movie star from the 50’s. The stellar band was separated into strings, percussion, and voice; all indispensable to each composition, but also completely anonymous and respectful of who they were there to serve. For a diva, Adele was surprisingly approachable as well. When she asked questions, she made it a point to listen to the answers coming from the front rows. There was a dialogue between her and her fans. When she saw a guy in a purple shirt, passionately singing along, she invited him and his friends on stage to take a selfie.

Hi, my history at the concert is really sad...For months I have tried to reunior the value to tell them..i tell you:

I am Venezuelan, In my country it is very difficult to get money to go to concerts, But adele in mexico was my best opportunity Since I have an uncle living there, So look for money in bank credits and work very hard to get a ticket for the concert and plane to get to mexico on November 15...After a lot of fight and help from incredible people who held out my hand ... I did it Had ticket for the show of November 15, and flew to mexico on November 12 with stopover in panama.

Everything went very well until two days before my trip my boyfriend in a fit of jealousy burned my passport, Yes as I tell them I burn it in a microwave, and there was no way to be able to travel so my dreams were shattered and my bank accounts at zero since the plane tickets were not Refundable and in my country the crisis worsened and it is impossible for me to leave my country now ..

Do not know how much I struggle to go to the show, for me not only is the music of adele she for me is inspiration and admiration for showing that dreams come true so it was very sad for me to lose everything to two days of achieving it.

I regret not having a great story to tell about the show ... sorry for my english I confess to ask the translator for help

I do not know if someone read this, I just know that I finally gathered the courage to be able to tell it .. if I had the opportunity I would try again, no matter if my dream is to go to an adele show, maybe other people have different dreams like knowing Snow, travel to Paris, no matter how big or small the dream or how many people oppose or discourage us, the important thing is not to give up ..

for now I will not be able to reach this dream but I hope I can do it and get up Again until I said I did !!

It is hard to know what to say that hasn't already been said, the list of superlatives has been done and each one is accurate. Adele may be nervous performing live, and there are times where that shows through, but somehow the fact that, arguably, the worlds finest singer shows a vulnerability adds to the performance especially when combined with her self deprecating honesty.

The attention to detail is clear, the fact that she thanks the guy who delivers 'hot honey' by name, thanks the guys who surround the stage during Skyfall and says 'see you all Saturday' shows that she is no Prima Donna artiste, Somehow through a meteoric rise, through all the fame and fortune she still retains that ordinary north London girl wanting to entertain her audience and entertain she does, in spades!

The T Shirts personally signed fired into the crowd, the note left on the back of someone's seat all these acts of kindness make someone's night unforgettable.

However, all of the humour, beautiful touches and adept performance are totally dominated by that voice, that wonderful, utterly unmistakable, beautiful voice which towered over Wembley Stadium and owned the evening. The songs are expertly crafted works of art in their own right and I love them all but if she sang the phone book I would pay to listen.

The highlights for me are predictable, Hello, Skyfall, Feel my Love, Set Fire to the Rain and Someone Like You, all of which were belted out by 100,000 people, these are the spine tingling moments you experience rarely in life. The one song I would still love to hear live is River Lea, lyrically brilliant and one of my all time favourite songs.

If you have never seen Adele perform live you really do need to and this may be your last chance, although I cannot tell you how much I hope it is not!

Having seen Adele previously at the Hammersmith Apollo a few years ago we really wanted to get tickets again, my wife tried for many hours to get tickets for her last tour and when this 4 night tour went on sale she tried again we were successful getting tickets for the Wednesday night, the only problem was she had no choice but to buy the drinking package at £249 each but because we wanted to see her we had no choice but to buy them. We had had an email form Songkick advising us to arrive early for security check which was understandable in the light of recent events, the line to enter was building up when we arrived at 4.30 pm, everyone was waiting for the 5pm opening, 5pm passed and everyone were patient but they did not start letting people in until around 5.20 pm. Eventually we were let in to the Bobby Moore suite to start the evening with a drink, the food choice for the suite was very limited, sushi, salad or hot dog (which were not hot at all), we enjoyed a few glasses of wine before we entered the stadium. Once we got to our seats for the start of the show is when we realised that if we wanted to see anything we should have taken binoculars even though we were only on the second tier to be honest Adele was a dot on the stage. Adele performance was amazing and once again she meet our every expectations she has an brilliant voice and is so down to earth. Paying that kind of money to see her show was worth it just to experience her voice and music, but paying that kind of money for the entry to the Bobbie Moore suite (which was just a function room) was really over priced. We had a fantastic time listening to Adele but the before part was a total waste of money.

Few artists have enjoyed the success over the course of a career spanning several decades that Adele has achieved over the past few years. Escaping the curse of that dreaded second album, ‘21’ propelled Adele into superstardom faster than anyone could have predicted and has broken probably every record that was there to be broken.

Seeing Adele live at the Royal Albert Hall back in 2011 was a really special moment. Clearly overwhelmed by the whirlwind success of the album, she took to the stage with a vulnerability that made her instantly likeable and relatable, whilst still delivering a class A performance.

Chatting to the audience like they were all friends and wanting them to feel like they were watching the gig ‘in their living rooms’, the most special moment of the evening came when the every single member of the 5000 strong audience belted the lyrics to hit single ‘Someone Like You’, leaving a speechless Adele visibly emotional and barely a dry eye in the house.

No big production or special effects were needed, as the beauty of the live arrangements and of those lyrics that made ‘21’ the masterpiece that it is, were enough.

Having publicly admitted that she suffers with severe stage fright, it is probable that we will not witness Adele touring arenas or stadiums. I believe this to be a good thing, as the beauty of her live show could not be appreciated in such big surroundings. Just make sure your one of the few who gets a ticket.

I was waiting ages and hoping Adele would announce a new tour since the 21 tour that i missed for being minutes slow for the tickets.

As the 25 tour was announced my only goal was to get those tickets at any cost! Everything seemed go bad from the start as the page for the ticket pre-sale did not work for me. I had no choice but to divert to viagogo and pay my ass off for two tickets - all my savings were lost... BUT - it definitely WAS WORTH EVERY DIME!

After few hours driving, overnight trip by ship and frustrating times getting to the concert area - We finally really were there.

I did not know what to expect from the show. But what ever it would be, i knew i would love just to see and hear her sing live.

As the show kicked off the feeling was just phenomenal - the emotion was to be hand felt. The show was not rockets, pyros and any fancy stuff... just Adele and smooth graphics and wisely chosen video backgrounds. But what else would it even need - nothing! Because... Adele!

The show kept the audience in it's embrace the whole set. It even made the bond to the audience deeper as she really got involved in person with some of us. She asked a couple fans up on stage and even sang a duet with one!

Anyways - will recommend to go see and hear her live to everyone! Adele is my number one female artist and i would not have missed her live tour again - and am really happy i did not.

Go, see, hear and love Adele!

First, I must say, that show was AMAZING!!!The black & white screen matches her music style perfectly, including the videos playing on.

Let's talk about Adele and her performance. She's a talented singer over the world, of course. Not only she can write and sing such good songs as Hello, When we were young, Send my love, etc., but also she's able to control the live show very well. Her voice, stage style, funny small talk between songs, even the eye contact with each audiences, proves that she can hold this grand show all by herself! That is a two-hour performance without any silence break, except for 3 minutes underground walk from central stage to main stage. It's unbelievable since almost all songs she sang were highly difficult!

She is a kind and responsible singer, also. No matter where you are, you can receive her beautiful smile and shining eyesight during the concert. She can even play jokes nearby the crowd! That must be everybody's good memory! Her humors and straightly personal characters make her so closed with fans. After each song, you may just treat her as a good friend when she talking!

As a VIP, I do think it's valuable to have such good musical listening and watching experience, except for the seat, which is not good enough for a VIP. However, that should be the problem of the hall's condition.

I must say, you should go for at least one Adele's concert in your life!

Our family of 4 daughters, my husband and myself saw Adele on 10/03/17, her first Sydney show. We have loved Adele since we listened to her first album in 2010. As soon as we heard she was coming we knew we had to be there. Even though we were seated very far away from the stage Adele made everyone of the 950000 crowd feel like we were all much closer.

Every moment was fantastic, Adele's phenomenal voice, the amazing video footage of Adele's eyes opening as the show started to the final song of Someone Like You, where the sound of the huge crowd singing in unison with Adele was unlike anything I have ever heard. The circular stage setup was amazing, giving everyone access to seeing Adele. Adele walked the circle giving every part of the stadium a chance to see her. The video footage that played with the songs was beautiful and ensured you kept your eyes on the stage.

The set list was a wonderful collection of Adele's 3 albums. Her interaction with the audience was funny, sincere and she really made us feel like we were right there with her.

I think when you see your daughters crying with the emotion of getting to see Adele live and then more crying because it was even better than you could of dreamed, speaks volumes. I would see her again in a heartbeat if I could and would say to anyone if you can go then do it!

I attended her concert in the biggest venue here in Oslo, Norway – Telenor Arena. It is perhaps mostly known for its lack of acoustic quality. The room is simply put way too big and sterile for that. Nevertheless; The Adele Tour team actually pulled it off this time though, and were able to fill the «dead» space in a more that satisfying manner.

Now, enough said about the venue. To the music: Being the big fan that I am it would be hard to hide my subjective judgement of the performance and music presented by Adele. But with that said I think it is fair to say that she, as a performer, is one of the best there is in the world today. She gives a lot of herself to the audience and often includes random attendees in the most spontaneous ways.

Music wise there is almost nothing to say other than that it is absolutely outstanding. Adele brings such a huge presence with her voice, unlike anyone else in the industry. Even the less “complicated” songs become big and overwhelmingly magnificent.

All in all, you get the feeling that Adele knows how it is to be “on the other side” (had to write that) and therefore she isn’t afraid of posing for a selfie or giving out large amounts of waves to the crowd.

There is no doubt that Adele forever will be remembered as one of the greatest artist of our century.

adele tour uk 2022

Adele has announced her first shows in mainland Europe since 2016.

The Hello singer will perform in Munich at what she described as a "one off, bespoke pop-up stadium" in the German city, she announced on her social media on Wednesday morning.

She piqued fans' interest on Tuesday by posting a video of a compilation of pictures of herself in black and white.

Many people were left speculating whether this was new music or a tour.

Ticket Master released footage of Adele's Las Vegas residency to promote her Munich shows

In a lengthy message to her fans, Adele revealed she "was too curious to not follow up" on the idea of four nights in Germany.

She said: "A one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? Ohh!?

"Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Europe? In Munich? That’s a bit random, but still fabulous!

"Right after the Euros? Come on England! With the Olympics next door? Go on Simone! And some of my favourite artists playing shows too? Why…YES!! I haven’t played in Europe since 2016!

"I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer.

"Guten Tag babes x"

A CGI mock up of the open air stadium shows a huge arena with Adele emblazoned across the outside.

The shows, at Munich Messe, will take place on August 2, 3, 9 and 10 and will feature a combination of seated grandstands and standing areas with capacity for 80,000 people a night.

She is currently performing the last leg of her Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele, which runs until mid-June.

Adele last played in the UK in July 2022 at the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park.

Fans can register for tickets via Adele's website until February 5 and tickets go on general sale to the public on February 9.

Concert Tours With the Highest Ticket Prices in 2024

Rebel Wilson says Adele hates her for comparisons to “Fat Amy”

The Australian actor opens up in her new memoir

Rebel Wilson

Rebel Wilson has shared in her memoir that she believes singer Adele “hates” her.

  • READ MORE: Soundtrack Of My Life: Rebel Wilson

The Australian actor’s new memoir, Rebel Rising , contains details about Wilson’s weight loss journey, and her experience in the acting industry.

Wilson, who is best known for starring in teen comedies such as Bridesmaids , How To Be Single and the Pitch Perfect franchise, shared how some people would confuse her with the British singer, and that she believes Adele “hates” her.

The actor wrote: “Some actresses would get offended if I called them plus-size in this book, so I have to be careful with what I say. This is why, I think, Adele hates me.”

She added: “There was a moment when she was bigger, and some people would confuse us for one another. I am assuming, because to be fair I’ve never asked her”.

According to The Independent , Wilson recounted how Adele would reportedly turn away if she saw the actor heading towards her at public events.

She claimed: “As if my fatness might rub off on her if I were near her for more than 30 seconds. That she didn’t like being compared to ‘Fat Amy’,” referring to her iconic role in Pitch Perfect . Adele has not yet responded to the claims.

Both Adele and Wilson coincidentally went on dramatic weight loss journeys in 2020, with the latter losing around 80lbs (36kg).

Elsewhere in the memoir, Wilson opened up about her experience working on the set of The Brothers Grimsby , including accusations towards co-star and creator Sacha Baron Cohen .

The Jojo Rabbit star said she felt like “something to be laughed at and degraded”, calling it the “worst professional experience of [her] career.”

In other news, Adele has just announced the rescheduled dates for her Las Vegas residency , after the original dates were postponed due to illness.
