I want to get a kwiktrip credit card but not sure where i will be able to use it except for the kwiktrip gas stations. can you tell me if i will be able to use it everywhere or at kwik trip only.

New version is harder to use

Love the app and use it weekly. Deals are great, coupons are not bad and finding stores is easy. My only problem is it is now harder to order food and now there is no favored stores on the home page. Why change it when it worked so well?? Ordering food takes longer and I have had freezes but it’s no deal breaker. I don’t use it that much to begin with, only when I am on a time crunch. My main beef is with your 3 favored stores not on the start up/home screen. You can still save them, but you have to search for all stores in order to see them and what the gas prices are. Why even offer favored stores if you are going to have to search all stores to see them anyway?? Just makes no sense at all. I wish I could have the previous version back... Update: they have received my review and sent feedback as well. Said they were taking it into future considerations since I wasn’t the only one not pleased with the favorites being omitted on the home screen. 2 new updates later.... still no change. No change on their part, no rating change on my part. Only thing holding it back... Final update: they have FINALLY put favorites on the home screen. It’s took long enough. Now it’s back to being a useful app again.

I LOVE this app but there are a few things they could make better

I love the convince of this app as I’m the person who is always running late and this totally saves me so much time if I need to grab something really quick on a time crunch! The feature that they can bring it out to your car is a lifesaver when you have kids in the car and I love all the money saving deals and freebies, especially the fun freebies they give during the holidays just for ordering! I wish they would add a notes/ special request feature when ordering food! I’m now pregnant and wanted to order a sandwich and grab it really quick on my 15 minute break but I wanted to be able to tell them to heat the meat up as well for safe pregnancy consumption as well as to add a sauce to dip it in on the side! Or maybe that be an option on the ordering details. Also there aren’t any of the sugar free monster options available to order ahead which is a total bummer! Just some things I hope you’ll be able to add to the app later on! 😁

Opening an account fail

I’ve tried everything to open an account with no luck. I get to the account verification and it throws out an error Qt3000i. I went in through FB and it tells me, unable to complete. Please help, I’d really like to give the app a chance and change my review.. I apologize I wasn’t able to call you back. I wanted to let you know that the app didn’t like my primary email account. I was able to open an account with my secondary email. I will improve my star review because I believe this is a fantastic app, lots of options... however I think if you’re going to make it possible to purchase store items like a loaf of bread there should be more than 6 items. I’m seeing that as maybe something you are working on? I would like to add there is no option for ordering your fantastic fresh brewed Iced tea (my absolute favorite thing to drink) if I have my young kids with me while I gas, there is no way I’m going inside to grab a tea or sandwich. I would love to see the entire store in the app along with your huge candy and snack options! I would definitely buy more if I’m not standing in there telling my kids to hurry up and pick! Thank you for listening!

Kwik Trip bought 151 acres in Dane County for a new distribution center, near future Buc-ee's

Wisconsin's fan-favorite gas station and convenience store chain Kwik Trip is expanding again.

Earlier this week, Kwik Trip completed a transaction to purchase 151 acres of empty farmland in the village of DeForest in northern Dane County, DeForest village administrator Bill Chang said. The land, in the southwest quadrant of the intersection between Highways 51 and 19, was purchased for $14.1 million, the Wisconsin State Journal reported .

Sixty acres will be developed into a satellite distribution center and fleet services center for Kwik Trip, Chang said. These facilities will serve about 350 Kwik Trip stores in southern Wisconsin. The distribution center and the fleet services center are each expected to bring 200 jobs to DeForest, Chang said, for a total of 400.

"We're excited to see such a strong company come to DeForest," he continued.

The remaining 91 acres will be set aside for future development, Chang added. The DeForest distribution center will be Kwik Trip's first outside of La Crosse , where the company is headquartered. Currently, more than 80% of the products sold in Kwik Trip stores are supplied by the company's La Crosse-based food production and distribution operations.

Chang said groundbreaking on the DeForest site will likely occur this spring or summer, but the project won't be complete for at least a year and a half. The village will have a lot to do to prepare for the distribution center's arrival.

"There will be improvements that will be necessary along the highways to ensure that (Kwik Trip's) traffic is addressed ... including intersection improvements and widening of the local road leading to the site," Chang said. "In the site itself, there will need to be an internal road network."

When reached for comment, Kwik Trip said it's "still doing (its) due diligence on the property," and does not have any specific details to share at this time.

DeForest's future Kwik Trip distribution center will be less than 10 minutes from Buc-ee's

Kwik Trip isn't the only hugely popular gas station and convenience store chain making a mark on DeForest in the coming years. The Texas-based chain Buc-ee's plans to build one of Wisconsin's largest gas stations in the village, northwest of the Interstate 39/90/94 and Highway V interchange.

Though the Kwik Trip distribution center site is less than 10 minutes from the proposed Buc-ee's site, Chang said neither business's expansion plans will be affected by the other.

Kwik Trip continues to expand throughout Wisconsin

The DeForest project is part of a $151 million business expansion Kwik Trip announced late last year that is expected to create more than 500 jobs by 2027.

In La Crosse, this has included a completed expansion of Kwik Trip's burrito production line, a new 40-foot production line for Dunkers and cake doughnuts, a cooler expansion in the dairy and additional packaging automation in the sweets bakery.

Kwik Trip is also renovating an office building in Onalaska, which will house training, accounting and operations support, including a 24/7 helpline for the stores.

Kwik Trip operates over 800 stores in the Midwest, including more than 500 in Wisconsin. It plans to continue adding about 50 new stores every year.

Brooks: Kwest for Kwik Trip's bagged milk ends with moo-ving realization

Kwik Trip is discontinuing bagged milk.

Which is unfair, because some of us just learned that milk in a bag is a thing . Now we'll never know whether we were supposed to drink it or play cornhole with it.

Milk in a bag was beloved by a large swath of Canada, Wisconsin and select Minnesotans. By May, it will vanish from the milk crates in the bottom of the refrigerated crates in the gas stations. But after four decades of production, Kwik Trip says it no longer makes fiscal sense to keep bagging milk in a milk carton world.

Which left me very little time to grab a bag of milk. The thing I never knew I wanted until I couldn't have it.

My Kwest for a Kwik bag o' milk led me to the Kwik Trip just off the interstate in Plymouth. Honestly, is there anything Plymouth doesn't have?

Since there's no use crying over bagged milk, let's celebrate what we had. It was cheap, it was convenient, it used less plastic than a jug and it was jiggly and fun. You will be missed, milk bag.

Why bag the milk? According to a deep dive the CBC took on the topic , the practice began half a century ago, when plastic was pricier and Canada was transitioning to the metric system. It was a lot easier to change a one-quart bag of milk to 1.3-liters than to retrofit an entire assembly line for resized milk jugs or cartons.

All you needed with a milk bag was a milk jug. Some Kwik Trips may still have them in stock. Do not just stab the bag of milk with a straw like a giant Capri-Sun . The Canadians have posted helpful how-to instructions online. Thank you kindly, Canada.

And in conclusion, would anyone like a bag of milk? I forgot to pick up a jug and now it's just rolling around my refrigerator like a Shmoo .

I purchased a product that had a defect, and informed the company. The manager (Matt) was quick to respond, and polite. I received another product to replace my defective one (didn't even have to return the original). Great prices, service, and going beyond to help a customer (like mentioned above) is why I will continue to give Kwik Trip my business.

Nastiest fried chicken you can eat! Employees soil the chicken on purpose and are not hygienic, so greasy it gives diarrhea after eating it.

This review is for the N. Town Rd. location. I stopped in quick on a busy morning this past week for a fuel and asked the gentleman behind the counter about specifics related to the Kwik Trip card and how points are applied if you pre-pay for fuel. Words cannot express how sincere this employee was about getting the answers to my question met. Even in the midst of endless customers in que, he took the time to explain everything to me with kindness. That interaction made the rest of my day seem lighter. Kwik Trip is a big part of culture here in town and employees like this are what makes it what it is. Thank you again Nathen for taking the time.

Their bathrooms are always clean I like that the never cared when I didn't wear a stupid pointless mask in their stores. They have their own brand of chocolate milk that's amazing and second to none. They always have a good selection of food.

I have to admit...I love Kwik Trips, I adore Kwik Trips, I am blood buddies with Kwik Trip.....yes, I love it that much :) A recent stop at this Kwik Trip proved to reiterate my love affair with this petroleum and snack chain. My recent trip started with the friendliest staff ever, was reinforced with the spotless bathroom, and culminated in an uber positive coffee experience (complete with a coffee lid machine that handed me a lid and an alarm that alerted the Kwik Trip staff that they needed to brew a fresh pot of French Roast). I am almost embarrassed to gush this much about a gas station...but it is just THAT good!
