1. Eravikulam National Park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar Deer . As I've already mentioned, Eravikulam National Park has one of the largest Nilgiri Tahr populations in the world. There are thought to be 700-800 deer who have a home here. Although there are so many, they are still sadly very much on the endangered species list.
