The experience is incredible. The staff and our guide, Tom, were great and very friendly. The cruise and the service are very good. I recommend this experience, my children had an incredible time. I want to thank all the management of Duong Tuan. There was a problem with our flight and he helped us with all the logistics in a totally friendly and efficient way, he is a 10.

Yes we had an excellent experience with Signature cruise. Tom Cruise Man the manager was a really friendly guy and gave clear instructions on everything. They also took care of vegetarian food options for my wife.

'Morning', our host, was a joy in both his helpfulness and personality. The rest of the staff were also great. The food was plentiful and very good. The excursions were well thought out and handled professionally and no additional cost.

The staff was very friendly. The tour guides (Morning and Megan) were amazing. The early morning tai-chi sessions was a nice touch. Everything runs on time and is well coordinated.

Amazing crew! Professional and friendly, they took good care of us and made sure we were comfortable. I also had requested vegetarian food and the restaurant staff made a special menu for me. The room is spacious clean and comfortable and all the activities were enjoyable. Truly a memorable experience! I would highly recommend it.

We had an excellent experience on our 2 night, 3 day cruise! The staff was exceptional with the level of service, the accommodations were wonderful, food and drinks were excellent. We enjoyed the daily Tai Chi classes and excursions and met many wonderful fellow travelers from all around the world. I also enjoyed a relaxing hot stone massage and soak in the jacuzzi tub. The bay itself is phenomenal, and it was wonderful to experience it from both the privacy of our balcony and the communal space of the observation deck on top! The staff went the extra mile, upgrading us to a better room and even returning an item we left on board to our hotel in Ho Chi Minh City a week later.

The crew and manager were great to deal with. The boat was amazing and had great style. And the area was absolutely beautiful. A little cold and grey because winter.

13:15: As we begin to cruise through Bai Tu Long Bay, a special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of delicious favorites will be served in the restaurant.

15:00: Explore Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boats to discover the daily lives of its inhabitants. This village used to be home for hundreds of locals but they now move to the mainland to settle, there still remain many local floating houses.

16:30: Get back to the Signature cruise, cruise to the anchorage area for an overnight stay on Bai Tu Long Bay.

Best experience to Bai Tu Long Bay!”

Very few cruises go to Bai Tu Long bay which is a calm place compared to Halong bay. This was costly compared to other cruise but we got a good price compared to their website in Agoda. We booked a 2 days 1 night cruise. We made a good decision by doing this. The stay and food was superb!

We booked the family connecting room for 4 adults at the 2nd floor. The room we got was quite spacious with very wide balcony at the whole tail of the cruise. The small balcony was also attached at the side room. The manager Chien was very helpful and reliable. The food were satisfatory. Overall service is very good.

15:00 : The Signature Halong Cruise will pass Hon Gai and Cam Pha to reach Bai Tu Long Bay. Along the way, tourists will visit Vung Vieng Floating Village, one of the most impressive villages in Halong, where tourists can experience the exclusive daily life of the local residents.

16:30 : Tourists return to the main boat of Signature Halong Cruise so that the vessel can sail towards the mooring points in Bai Tu Long Bay.

Shuttle bus picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (extra fee). Start a 2.5-hour drive to Halong International Cruise Port. Check in at Ambassador’s Lounge at around 11:30. 

Welcome onboard. Head to Piano Lounge or restaurant for the safety briefing by the Cruise manager and enjoy the welcome drink. Lunch is served thereafter while the vessel cruises to Lan Ha Bay. The first stop is Viet Hai Village where you can learn about locals’ daily life, visit fish lakes, bee houses, ancient houses, or experience fish foot massage. Those who want to relax onboard can savor some homemade cakes, book a massage (extra fee) or unwind on the sun loungers on the top deck.

After the excursion, the cruise proceeds to the sleeping area. A cooking class with Happy Hour is ready. Canapes are complimentary while you watch the magnificent sunset on the bay.

Savor a sumptuous dinner in the restaurant. After that, you have free time to listen to live music at the piano lounge with your favorite drinks (extra fee), try your hand at squid fishing, or watch movies in your cabin. Overnight onboard.

Here you can opt for a kayak (extra fee) or a local sampan boat to discover the cave. Back to the vessel to freshen up and enjoy a full breakfast at the restaurant.

Check-out your cabin and settle the bills (if any) at the reception. The cruise crosses hundreds of limestone islands and islets on the way back to the harbor. Disembark at Halong International Cruise Port at around 10:30 am.

Enjoy lunch. Explore Cat Ba National Park with diversified ecosystems. Transfer by bus to Gia Luan Pier. Return to Ambassador Signature Cruise. Join a cooking class, enjoy Happy Hour and Canapes.

I traveled alone on Signature Royal for 1 night. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make me enjoy the trip. I never felt bored during the trip. My cabin was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I love kayaking very much and wish I could spend more time on the bay. Thank you for a great trip!

The cruise does not have a chic look as many new modern cruises yet its traditional style and royal vibe were unique. The cabin was large and clean yet the shower needs to be upgraded. The food was varied and of good quality. The staff was nice.

If you prefer an off-the-beaten-track itinerary on Halong Bay, this cruise could not be more suitable. The ship was a bit run down yet all of our needs were well fulfilled. We had a Junior Suite on the main deck with windows. The room is in good size and well equipped. Food was average yet pretty varied. The trip to the cave and the floating village were very nice and relaxing, not too crowded and very tranquil. Everyone should try!

The schedule went smoothly and was well organized. We went kayaking to a fishing village on the first day and explored a cave on the second day. While on board, you can watch the bay on the top deck, join a cooking lesson, try squid fishing (which was a bit boring and difficult), and do Taichi in the morning. The staff was friendly. Food was okay, not really excellent.

We chose this cruise for its unique route to Bai Tu Long Bay and the trip was more than expectations. The scenery was spectacular and there were not many other boats like the area we started from. We visited a fishing village on a kayak and it was very peaceful and nice. The boat was clean and well-maintained although it has been operating for years. Staff cannot do better. We were supported at any time we needed and the staff made sure we enjoyed everything from food, cabin, activity, and excursions. This was definitely the best choice for a natural getaway!

Is March or November a better time to go to Bai Tu Long cruise?

@elin, March and November are two of the best months to visit Bai Tu Long. March is the Spring with average temperatures ranging from 18 to 24°C while November is Fall with temperatures from 23-27°C. Both months have low rainfall and are suitable for outdoor activities such as hiking, visiting a cave, kayaking, etc. So you can consider the one that suits your schedule the most. Regards,

Amazing... A cruise through one of the most beautiful bays I have ever seen in my life. The itinerary of activities is very well thought out so you can enjoy the boat, the sea and have free time to enjoy the views. The cabin is first class with a white and gray wood decoration. The staff is very nice and makes your trip an unforgettable experience. Besides the boat is barely for about 20 people, which makes your experience more personal. It is something that I would doit again without thinking. This time 4-5 days.
