Frequently asked questions?

Is morocco special for shopping.

Absolutely. Marrakech is the most colorful of all Moroccan cities when it comes to traditional shopping – as it has been for hundreds of years. For many tourists, shopping is a central part of their trip, and in Morocco there are so many exotic products to browse and choose from. The traditional Arab markets are called “souks.”

  • Souks/Souqs: traditional name for a market or bazaar with a wide variety of stalls/booths or small stores usually specializing in one thing

One can discover in souqs mainly leather, carpets, metalwork, pottery, traditional Muslim clothing, traditional lanterns, nuts and dried fruits, jewelry, argan oil and much more. There is an amazing variety of spices, teas, nuts and other exotic products.

As a woman do I need to wear a headcovering?

No, tourists can mostly wear what they like, but it is advisable to dress modestly (i.g.no mini skirts or bikini tops in public), so as not to offend the locals

How long should I go for?

Go for at least two weeks, if one only has limited time, then priorize Marrakesh. Here you will get the fastest insight into the diverse and colorful culture of Morocco.

Can I exchange money in Morocco?

You can always exchange Euros everywhere in the country. You can even pay with EUR very often. Swiss Francs are not so popular, so you have to go to an official exchange office or bank to exchange. We recommend to change MAD (Moroccan Dirham) directly upon arrival, in case something cannot be paid in EUR. However, coins in foreign currency are not welcome.

Whats about the water?

It is advisable not to drink the water from the tap, even if local people do. They are used to it. However, water can be bought on every corner. A bottle costs about 6 MAD (60 cents).

What tour should I go for to Morocco?

There are many excellent tours offered throughout Morocco. Tours that really everyone should consider include camping in the desert with the nomads, camel rides in the desert, tours of the Altas Mountains, and tours to UNESCO-protected Ouarzazate. Many of these tours start in Marrakech, but others are offered from other common arrival points in the country. Ask our team at Africa North Journeys

morocco 6 day tours

The 6 Days Morocco Tour Itinerary from Casablanca is totally awesome!

Thanks to Moha’s trip plan, we enjoyed everything, including Tajine, camel trek, beautiful scenes, and ancient buildings, in Morocco. I was definitely impressed with the camel trek in the desert. In spite of the hot and dry weather there, the beautiful scenes in the desert are undoubtedly worth experiencing. Moreover, the night we stayed in the desert with local Moroccan music and dance was awesome. In addition to that, it’s certainly an unforgettable experience in life! Also, the driver is really nice and would like to introduce something special in Morocco during the drive! His family is nice and lovely! Generally speaking, it is a good travel agency in Morocco and I would highly recommend!!!

6 Day Small Tour of Morocco – Exceeded Expectations

This Morocco travel itinerary 6 days was included most Morocco highlights. It was one of the reasons we chose MTT. On tour, our guide/driver Hami was the best. Besides, he was very knowledgeable, brilliant, and always prepared and on time. On the other hand, his recommendations for restaurants were spot on, as well as the hotels we stayed in, so beautiful and the best. In addition to that, it takes a special personality to handle over ten travelers and their wants and needs over a 6-day period, and he responded to the challenge with grace and patience. Overall, we highly recommend this Casablanca holiday package , the agency, and especially the guide Hami to anyone wishing to visit Morocco.

FAQ of this 6 Days Morocco Desert Tour from Marrakech?

6 days morocco tour, is it morocco safe.

Don’t get surprised if we said Yes!! Morocco is totally a safe country and one of the most powerful intelligence apparatuses in the world. The Moroccan government has taken a great and very good step to spread safety such as increasing police presence in tourist areas and this we have remarked in every city in Morocco Also, in every street, you will find at least two policemen. As a result, the country’s security forces have been successful in preventing terrorist attacks. As we are a travel agency, we advise our customers to avoid as much as possible narrow streets during the night, avoid large crowds and keep valuables secure, and not to talk with strangers unless are a seller, guide, driver, or a coffee and restaurant waiter. By following the pieces of advice above you will enjoy your stay in Morocco with peace of mind.

Travel to Morocco as solo!

Traveling to Morocco as a solo. It might be difficult and impossible in your mind because you believe that it’s an African country there is only desert?? and it’s not safe and it is very poor and and… But the fact is completely different. By traveling with us you will get a private car, a private driver’s guide. And a private room or tent in the Sahara Desert. traveling solo can be an exciting and rewarding experience. However, you will be more flexible to do what you want without any obstructions. Our driver guide will be with you during the whole trip to make sure that you are enjoying, safe and comfortable.

In big cities like Marrakech and Fes, you will have a local tour guide who will lead you safely as well and show you his city’s historical places with an open heart. I think we have said everything about traveling solo and bear in mind that you are not the first or the last who will travel alone. With our proper planning and awareness, a solo trip with Morocco itinerary is a memorable adventure.

The Overnight in the Camp

According to our guests’ reviews 99% of them they consider the night of the desert camp in Sahara Desert as the highlight of their trip. why?? what makes it special and recommended? Well to answer this question we should talk about the reasons!! First, when our customers arrive Merzouga Desert, they find the camels waiting to carry them across the dunes. Along the way a stop will be made in order to catch a magical sunset over the dunes then later they continue to reach the desert camp where our clients get surprised with the quality of their tent which includes a private bathroom, and a very clean and comfortable bed. Additionally, a delicious dinner with Berber music around the fire under a fully open sky of stars it’s the reason that makes the trip unforgettable. So don’t miss to visit the Sahara Desert during your stay in Morocco.

Alcohol in Morocco!

Morocco considers as an Islamic Country with more than 99 percent of the population is Sunni Muslim. But this doesn’t prevent of producing it and selling it. Here are some Moroccan beers and wines; (Casablanca, Stork, Flag, Heineken). If you are wondering where to buy some alcohol, that easy because many licensed shops are selling it. Such as some Hotels, some Restaurants, Bars, or Carrefour (Supermarket). However, drinking alcohol in the streets for tourists is breaking the law and is completely forbidden and can lead to arrest. So please be careful where you drink you are in a Muslim country.

What to bring with you?

while you are reading this article, so you are interested in travelling to Morocco. But you are lost, and you don’t know what to bring exactly. We will talk only about the important things Firstly, check your passport if its valid to travel or not, don’t forget your credit cards, Cash, Flight info, Phone, Charger, Suitcase, and some Medicine because Morocco don’t have the best Quality ones. However, bring body sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, lip balm are very helpful especially in the desert where the weather is dry. Last thing you shouldn’t forget is a secure Day Bag it’s a great ideal to protect your stuff when you venture into public places like souks (Markets).

Summer and autumn Cloths: Oversize T-shirts, short pants, light trousers, a Dress for women, a bathing suit if you want to swim, we advise comfortable shoes for walking, and a scarf to cover your hair and shoulders but if you don’t have one no worries you can buy one in Morocco. Also, a light jacket is very important because some places are a bit cold even in the summertime. To protect yourself from the strong sun we advise you to bring a Cap. Additionally, don’t forget flip-flops.

winter and spring Cloths: Our suggestions are a warm Jacket for the nights and early mornings, long pants (Jeans), if you have fleece, is perfect idea. Also, T-shirt sometimes during the day it gets sunny and warm. Shoes at least two types, Scarf, skirts, is ok, and tunics.

The Wi-fi & SIM Card in Morocco?

If you are wondering how to get the internet in Morocco and get connected with the world it’s simple and super easy. In the airport where you land, there are shops selling SIM cards you just have to buy one and put some Balance on it, and then you get the internet. I think you still didn’t understand in Morocco each shop ( Grocer ) sells SIM cards and balances. So, you need to buy both. SIM Card costs from 1.5 euro to a maximum of 2.5 euro. For the balance from 0.50 cents to 20 euro, it depends on how much you want:

100 MG  costs 0.50 cents available for one day – 1GB costs 1 Euro available for 3 Days – 2GB costs 2 euro available for 1 week – 5GB costs 5 euro and is available for one Month, and 10GB costs 10 Euro. (The best company is Maroc Telcom ). Additionally, Wi-Fi is available in every coffee, restaurant, Riad, and Hotel.

What languages Moroccans speaks?

Morocco is an Amazigh country (Berber) before being an Arabic country. How? Why? In Morocco More than 60% speak the Amazigh language for example in the north of the country there are two main languages spoken (Amazigh and Spanish). in the Middle of the country, you will find people speak Arabic and Amazigh, and in the southeast Amazigh is spoken, in the west you find Amazigh and Arabic. So, if we come to account it, we realize that Amazigh people are more spread in Morocco. And to confirm this the king of Morocco Mohamed 6 is of Amazigh origin. Additionally, in Morocco, you will find people speak, other languages like French due to the French colonial, English because a lot they find it easy to learn, Moreover Spanish due to geographical proximity.

Can I use euro or Dollar in Morocco?

Most Merchants in Souks (Market) are accepting £$ and euro instead of the local Currency (MAD). But it’s going to be difficult for you in other places such as Restaurants, and Coffees because the majority of them are accepting only MAD. Our advice is to exchange your money in trusted offices like banks or other shops and don’t never give your money to strangers for exchange in the streets.

I had an amazing 6-day trip around Morocco with Moha. We started in Marrakech and visited the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Then we headed to the Atlas Mountains and saw the stunning views from Tizi n’Tichka pass. Next, we explored the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The highlight of the trip was the camel ride in the Merzouga Desert and watching the sunset over the sand dunes. We also visited the Todra Gorge and spent a night in a traditional Berber tent. Finally, we ended the tour in Fes, where we visited the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, and the famous tanneries. The first day was spent exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech, with its bustling markets and stunning architecture. The highlight of the day was visiting the Bahia Palace, a beautiful 19th-century palace with intricate tilework and lush gardens.

The next two days were spent driving through the Atlas Mountains and visiting various Berber villages along the way. The scenery was breathtaking, with snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. We also had the opportunity to ride camels through the desert and spend a night in a traditional Berber camp.

The final day was spent driving through the stunning Draa Valley, with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. We also visited the Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most well-preserved kasbahs in the region. 6-day morocco tour from marrakech – itinerary:, 1st day: marrakech – dades gorges.

Morning departure at 8.30 from your hotel or riad in Marrakech to cross the High Atlas Mountains . After the Tichka pass, you leave the main road and take a side road to the Telouet Kasbah , which belonged to the Lords of the Atlas, the Glaoui family . Each addition to the building now stands in ruins exposed to the wind and the rain, having been abandoned and plundered after the last Pasha died in 1956. Wait to be pleasantly surprised by the traditional interior decoration as you reach the farthest end of the Kasbah.

Sadly, the entire Kasbah is presently closed due to the destruction caused by the earthquake that hit Morocco in September 2023. Nonetheless, you can still enjoy the exterior with a local guide to uncover its fascinating history.

From here you drive along the beautiful and awe-inspiring Ounila Valley, full of bends in the roads, surprises at the hues of the rock and soil, Berber villages and gardens, as well as smaller Kasbahs.  Almost at the end of the road, you reach Ait Ben Haddou , where you stop for a tasty lunch. This is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and is one of Morocco’s nine UNESCO World Heritage sites , which you can visit after lunch.

The road passes Ouarzazate and continues to the Skoura Oasis , where olives, almonds, lucerne, barley and fruit trees such as apple, apricots, figs and pomegranates are grown. Here numerous ancient kasbahs, some sadly in ruins, stand amongst the palm trees, but you will visit a very famous kasbah, Kasbah Amredhil , which used to be depicted on the old 50-dirham banknote.  It has been beautifully restored so is intact and well worth a visit.  From here, the route goes through Kela’a M’gouna, the Valley of Roses , with a stop to see cosmetic articles locally made from the valley’s abundant roses. You stop in the Dades Valley in a guest house there.

2nd day: Dades Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, you will drive up the valley including some amazing hairpin bends (cf youtube Cadillac brakes test) to reach the Dades gorges , before continuing to Toudgha to the very different gorges there. Lunch will either be here in the gorges or later at the bivouac at the Erg Chebbi dunes. You drive there via the Ziz Valley , and the towns of Erfoud, famous for its fossil finds worked into beautiful artifacts , and Rissan i, which is where the king’s family originates.

In the afternoon, after a welcoming glass of tea at your luxury desert camp, you can take a camel ride in the Sahara . The sunset from the top of the dunes is spectacular (250m) and afterwards there is dinner followed by an evening of Berber Music and drumming around a campfire and the night in a luxury comfortable tent at the foot of the dunes.

3rd day: Merzouga – Fes

After breakfast, departure for Rissani and Erfoud , where there will be a stop to see how locally found fossils are worked into furniture and artefacts. It is a source of wonder to witness the sheer numbers and beauty of these fossils but feel assured, there is no obligation to buy any.

From there the road leads north to Er Rachidia and the Ziz Valley , remarkable for the extent of its palm trees and the volume of dates produced each year. Lunch is in Midelt , 1508m, called “the apple capital” , and set in the Middle Atlas at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain .  The town serves as the commercial agricultural centre for the surrounding area, and is also one of Morocco’s principle cities for the mining of several minerals, such as fluorite, vanadinite, quartz and cerussite.

We cross the Tizi-n-Talremt pass, known as the “she-camel” pass and reach Azrou , where you can see Barbary apes in the cedar forests looking out for titbits. We reach Fez at the end of the afternoon.

4th day: Fes Sightseeing

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour in Fes , which is the oldest of Morocco’s four “ Imperial Cities” . The medieval city of Fes El Bali or “Old Fes” remains complete and is unspoiled.  During your tour of this part of the town, you can visit the exotic Bou Inania Medersa , the Medina and the Kairaouine Mosque , where you may take photos of the wonderful courtyard from the main gate.

The university of the same name, founded by Fatima Al Fihri in 859, is said to be the oldest university in the world.

In the afternoon, you can visit Fes El Jdid, or “New Fes” and the Museum of Moroccan Arts . The night is spent in the riad.

5 th day: Fes – Rabat

After breakfast in your traditional riad, we drive over the beautiful valleys and the hills. We stop by the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Volubilis, the expansive Roman ruins , spread over a wide area with beautiful views. Following that, we go south as far as Meknes to visit its ancient medina and massive gates.

After lunch, we visit the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V , built in homage to the king, who passed away in 1961. His son and successor, Hassan II , who died in 1999, is also entombed here. You will spend the night in a beautiful riad.

6 th day: Rabat – Marrakech:

After breakfast, there will be time to explore the medieval fortified Muslim necropolis of the Chellah with views of the Bou Regreg River. Later on, we take the motorway to Casablanca, where a visit is scheduled to the spectacular Hassan II Mosque , the largest mosque in Africa and decorated with beautiful tiling of the utmost craftsmanship. You may need to queue for tickets for a while there. The guided tours leave every hour and take about an hour.

After lunch, we explore more of Casablanca and the corniche before we take the motorway as far as Marrakech. Your driver will escort you to your hotel which will mark the end of your Morocco tour from Marrakech.

Best 6 days in Morocco tour itinerary

I went with 4 friends on a 6-day trip from Casablanca to Marrakech. So we had contacted the tour company, Mohammed was super welcoming and flexible. It was really easy to chop and change numbers – we could add / subtract people as plans changed, and he was able to accommodate any itinerary changes.

As for the tour itself, it was very well-organized, picking us up from the airport, then dropping us off where we asked in Marrakech. There were many highlights in the trip – one of which was staying in the desert for 1 night and camel riding, which was included as part of the tour. Our driver/guide for the 6 day, Bihim, was knowledgeable and great fun! He was even nice enough to show us his family house where his mum made us tea and snacks – definitely the most memorable part of the trip.

I highly recommend this tour company to all!

Reviews & Testimonials

Excellent 6 day tour, and excellent attention.

Since we first set foot in Morocco, they always made things easier for us with a smile and a lot of patience. We had an incredible time. After visiting Casablanca, Hamid picked us up punctually at the hotel to start the 6 day tour to Marrakesh. It is a journey of contrasts: from the city to the Atlas, snow, desert, green valleys, gorges, villages, beautiful hotels… A thousand attentions from Hamid and all the people we met. We went to Merzouga and it is a complete experience and I highly recommended. Thank you!

Blinken adds Israel stop to latest Mideast tour as tensions rise over Gaza war

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said during a visit to the Philippines that it’s urgent to make humanitarian assistance in Gaza a priority. According to the U.N., 100% of the population in Gaza is at severe levels of acute food insecurity and desperately in need of humanitarian assistance.

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Israel this week as part of his sixth urgent mission to the Middle East since the Israelis’ war with Hamas began in October, as relations between the two countries have soured dramatically in recent weeks.

The visit comes amid a flurry of calls, planned trips by U.S. and Israeli officials and public airings of severe disagreements over the state of the conflict — notably Israeli plans to mount a major military operation in the southern Gaza city of Rafah and what will happen to Gaza after the war ends.

The State Department said the Israel stop would cap Blinken’s latest Mideast tour that started in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday and will continue in Egypt on Thursday. The top U.S. diplomat will be in Tel Aviv on Friday after talks with Arab leaders and foreign ministers in Jeddah and Cairo focused on the war in Gaza.

“In Israel, Secretary Blinken will discuss with the leadership of the government of Israel the ongoing negotiations to secure the release of all hostages,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said. “He will discuss the need to ensure the defeat of Hamas, including in Rafah, in a way that protects the civilian population, does not hinder the delivery of humanitarian assistance, and advances Israel’s overall security.”

Tensions between the U.S. and Israel over the prosecution of the Gaza war have been mounting for months over rising civilian casualties. And they have intensified as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he will ignore President Joe Biden’s warnings not to start a large-scale ground operation in Rafah without credible plans to protect innocent Palestinians who have sought refuge there.

Biden, facing a tough re-election campaign ahead of November’s presidential election, is under growing domestic pressure to rein in Israel’s military response to the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks in Israel. Opposition to the war in the United States, Arab nations and much of the rest of the world has shaped the evolution of Blinken’s frequent trips to the region since October.

His first two visits were largely focused on re-affirming U.S. support for Israel in the immediate aftermath of the Hamas attacks, but as civilian Palestinian casualties began to multiply and humanitarian conditions in Gaza deteriorated, his emphasis shifted to boosting humanitarian assistance and protecting innocents.

Since late last year, Blinken has also used his visits to stress the importance of Arab support for “day after” plans for Gaza and trying to coax Israeli leaders into accepting a status for the Palestinians that could help ensure Israel’s long-term security.

As that shift has taken place, though, the situation in Gaza has gotten worse and relations between the U.S. and Israel have nosedived. Public disagreements between Biden and Netanyahu have become more frequent and more intense.

In a phone call with Biden on Monday, their first in more than a month, Netanyahu agreed to send a high-level delegation to Washington to discuss plans for the proposed Rafah operation, and the Pentagon said Tuesday that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant would visit the U.S. capital next week.

In his talks in Jeddah, Cairo and Tel Aviv, Blinken is expected to focus on attempts to negotiate a cease-fire and hostage release deal, increase humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza by land, air and sea and plan for the territory’s post-conflict future.

In the Red Sea city of Jeddah, Blinken met with Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader, Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. The prospect of normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel is seen as a potential point of leverage in pushing the Israelis on easing civilian suffering in Gaza.

Blinken and Prince Faisal “discussed the urgent need to protect all civilians in Gaza and immediately increase humanitarian assistance to those in need,” the State Department said, adding that “resolving the conflict” and “preparing for the post-conflict phase” remain a top priority.

Blinken also “emphasized the United States’ commitment to achieving sustained peace through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with security guarantees for Israel,” the department said in a statement.

But the Saudis have made clear that normalization won’t happen unless it is accompanied by a clear commitment from Israel to accept an independent Palestinian state by a date certain. Netanyahu and many members of his far-right government are opposed to a Palestinian state.

In Cairo on Thursday, Blinken will see Egyptian officials as well as meet with a six-member Arab committee that includes foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Morocco and the Palestinian Authority, according to an Egyptian diplomat.

This group has been charged with exploring ways to revamp, reform and revitalize the Palestinian Authority for a possible governance role in Gaza once the war is over. The West Bank-based Palestinian Authority has committed to reforms and replaced some of its top leadership.

Blinken’s discussions are also expected to touch on the cease-fire negotiations that have taken on new urgency as the humanitarian situation in Gaza has become increasingly dire.

Qatari officials, whose country is the main interlocutor with Hamas, said this week they were “cautiously optimistic” after talks with Israel’s intelligence chief in Doha. But, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed al-Ansari said Tuesday that an Israeli ground operation in Rafah would set back any talks.

At least 31,819 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which doesn’t differentiate between civilians and combatants in its count but says women and children make up two-thirds of the dead. A United Nations food agency warned that “famine is imminent” in northern Gaza .

Palestinian militants killed some 1,200 people in the surprise Oct. 7 attack out of Gaza that triggered the war, and and abducted another 250 people. Hamas is still believed to be holding some 100 people hostage, as well as the remains of 30 others.

As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Hits One Year, Let’s Take a Look at Its Staggering Numbers

O n March 17, it will officially have been one year since Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Ariz. In the 12 months since that fateful first show, Swift has broken untold records , made history as TIME's 2023 Person of the Year , cultivated a new legion of NFL fans , and announced her forthcoming 11th studio album— The Tortured Poets Department , out April 19—among a litany of other accomplishments.

By the end of 2023—less than halfway through its scheduled 152-show run—the Eras Tour had earned over $1 billion to become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. During that period, every city where Swift played got a substantial economic boost from the so-called "Taylor Swift effect," a term that refers to the singer's unprecedented ability to influence consumer behavior. Following the inaugural U.S. leg of Eras, the U.S. Travel Association estimated that the tour's total economic impact likely exceeded $10 billion.

In the new year, Swift's staggering popularity seems to somehow still be on the rise. Less than a week after watching her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, win the Super Bowl, Swift played to the biggest concert crowd of her career while performing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia during the first run of 2024 Eras dates, following four shows in Tokyo.

In honor of the first anniversary of the start of the Eras Tour, we're taking a numerical look back at the biggest year of Swift's career to date.

Read More: 2023 Person of the Year: Taylor Swift

Number of Eras shows and cities

Swift will have played 83 shows across 30 cities as of March 17. Of those shows, 53 took place in the U.S. in 20 different cities stateside. The remaining 30 were part of the Latin America and Asia-Pacific legs of the tour. By the end of 2024, Swift is set to play a grand total of 152 Eras shows across 54 cities worldwide.

Number of surprise songs

In addition to her 40-plus-song set list, Swift has played at least two "surprise songs" per Eras show. Taking repeats into account, she has performed 145 different tracks (counting mashups of repeat songs as unique entries) as her 167 surprise offerings.

Number of special guests

From MUNA to Sabrina Carpenter to Haim, Swift's Eras stops have featured 10 different opening acts. She has also brought out eight other special guests, from Maren Morris to frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, to join her on stage at various shows.

Number of people in attendance at her biggest show to date

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour - Melbourne, Australia

Swift played three back-to-back shows at MCG on Feb. 16, 17, and 18 that were each attended by a record 96,000 people for a three-day total of 288,000 concertgoers. Ed Sheeran, who drew a crowd of around 109,500 each of the two nights he played at MCG in 2023, still holds the venue's single-night attendance record. But that's largely due to the fact that Swift's stage setup took up more room in the arena, cutting down on the number of available seats.

Number of Eras tickets sold

Swift sold an estimated 4.35 million tickets across 60 tour dates within concert trade publication Pollstar's chart year of Nov. 17, 2022 to Nov. 15, 2023. That's an average of 72,500 tickets per show, with each ticket costing an average of $238.95. Using those numbers to extrapolate across shows played since then, Swift has likely now sold around 6.02 million tickets.

Total Eras Tour gross

Based on the approximately $17.32 million in ticket revenue Pollstar estimates Swift earned for each of the first 60 Eras dates, her total tour gross currently sits somewhere around $1.44 billion. By the end of 2024, the tour is expected to have brought in an astronomical $2.165 billion. For comparison, the second-highest grossing tour of all time, Elton John’s multi-year Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, sold six million tickets over the course of 328 shows to earn $939 million.

Total Eras merch revenue

Taylor Swift Fans Descend On Melbourne Cricket Ground

According to reports from different venues, Pollstar estimates Eras attendees were spending an average of $40 per person on merch at the first 60 Eras shows. That puts Swift's tour merch revenue at an estimated $240.8 million—not including non-concert day purchases—following her first run of 2024 Eras dates.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour box-office earnings

Since its Oct. 13 release in theaters, Swift's record-breaking three-and-a-half-hour concert film has grossed $180,756,269 in North America and $261,656,269 globally at the box office. An extended edition of the movie became available to rent via video on demand services on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13, followed by the longest and most complete version of the film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) , arriving on streaming on Disney+ March 14.

Number of new songs

Since the Eras Tour began, Swift has released two re-recorded albums, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , and one new single, "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)," for a total of 45 new songs (including re-recorded songs and vault tracks). In their first week of sales, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , which featured one Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , which featured seven Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits, sold 716,000 equivalent album units and 1.653 million equivalent album units, respectively. "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)" tallied 8.7 million official streams and sold 19,000 downloads in the U.S. in the first two days after its Nov. 29 debut, according to Luminate .
