How to Plan the Ultimate Taylor Swift Eras Tour Weekend in Toronto

Swifties, plan ahead for six epic shows when taylor swift’s eras tour comes to toronto in 2024..

Are you ready for it? You’ve scored tickets for one of Taylor Swift’s six shows at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Aka the hottest ticket in town.

Next step: Come November 2024, pack the best sparkly pieces from your wardrobe, stack on those friendship bracelets and be prepared to paint the town red with this ultimate Swiftie-themed Toronto getaway. Consider it your Taylor Swift x Toronto era.

Where to stay for the Eras Tour

We all know how important Taylor’s girl squad is to her. Book your gal-pals getaway in a neighbourhood where you can maximize good times with the crew.

In the Queen West and West Queen West neighbourhoods, you can step out the door and shop all of the cool boutiques (including Le Labo —their Santal 26 candle is reportedly a fave of hers), find several Starbucks locations to order Taylor’s Latte–Aka a grande caramel latte (or opt to get your caffeine fix from a local, independent coffee shop such as the super darling Cafe 23 ).

For a cool, design-forward spot to crash, book your stay at the Ace Hotel Toronto . Request one of the rooms that have a turntable so you can play your Orchid Marbled vinyl of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).

Alternatively, stay midtown in Yorkville for some excellent retail therapy (hello, Gucci, Reformation and Versace—the latter being the designer behind many of The Eras Tour outfits). Then stock up on snacks at this posh neighbourhood’s Whole Foods outpost just like Taylor would.

And while we doubt Taylor’s got her cats Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button on tour with her, if you’re travelling with your own four-legged friend for luxe hotel accommodations that are chic, extra comfortable and pet-friendly, the Kimpton St. George ticks off all of the boxes (the hotel provides treats, a water bowl and even a dog bed).

Things to do before or after Taylor Swift’s concert

Maybe you’re looking to create “that red lip classic thing that you like” or perhaps it’s a cherry lips you’re after. Whatever shade, wrangle your squad over to Lip Lab on Queen St. W. to create your own custom lip colour.

You’ll start with creating your shade, which a Colour Expert will mix together for you, then choose a finish (matte, satin, sheer or balm) and flavour (we think Taylor would choose vanilla given her love of vanilla ice cream topped with mini M&Ms) and then because you’ll have a “Blank Space,” come up with a name for your lippie and have it engraved.

If you’ve got some final touches left to complete for your Eras Tour look, find the perfect sparkly, red or tulle piece at shops known for the prettiest dresses and fun, feminine accessories, such as Honey in the Toronto Eaton Centre and Original on Queen St. W.

Finally, pull your entire look together by getting an Eras Tour-inspired manicure; the team at Tips Nail Bar on the Danforth are known for some of the best nail art in the city (owner Leeanne Colley has done work on some very famous digits including Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Katy Perry).

If your whole squad needs manis, book appointments at the Yorkville location of Majesty’s Pleasure , a beauty studio decked out with sumptuous banquette seating and a full-service bar—enjoy a Paloma or two while you get pampered.

Swifties have honed their code-cracking skills with Taylor’s love of leaving Easter eggs in her lyrics. Put that knack for figuring out secret messages, hints and clues to work by hitting up an escape room such as Escape Manor on King St. W. or Casa Loma Escape Rooms just north of the Annex neighbourhood.

Or take your sleuthing skills outside and discover the city of Toronto in a new way with an Adventure City Games outdoor escape game—think of it as a treasure hunt/walking tour/escape room rolled into one.

Finally, hit up a karaoke bar to belt out all of your favourite Swift songs. Book for the night before the concert in anticipation of the Eras Tour spectacle or after the show to relive the show’s best moments.

Where to go? One of the private karaoke rooms at the aesthetic  Forever Karaoke  (think minimalist modern rooms with flattering pink lighting) so you can sing “Anti-Hero,” “Bad Blood,” and “Style” full out.

Where to eat

With hummus a staple in her own refrigerator, Taylor would feast well at Fat Pasha . This Middle Eastern/European Jewish restaurant from chef-owner Anthony Rose serves up some of the best hummus in the city.

Try the one that comes with chicken shawarma alongside other bursting-with-flavour dishes such as fattoush kale salad and whole roasted cauliflower. It’s an ideal cozy, unpretentious spot to fuel up well with your concert crew.

The morning after the concert, take a cue from Taylor, who loves buckwheat crepes, and hit up Yorkville Crepes for your morning latte and feed your Eras Tour withdrawal with any one of their 35 sweet or savoury crepes (the Marseille—a savoury option filled with black forest ham and swiss cheese–sounds like what Taylor would order).

Although if pancakes are more your thing, the pillowy stack at Pasaj in Leslieville , which is topped with housemade sour cherry jam, tahini halva, labne and pistachio, is ‘chef’s kiss. ’

Taylor Swift coming to Toronto for six shows at Rogers Centre

Canadian Swifties rejoice, Taylor Swift is bringing her latest tour north of the border after all.

The pop superstar announced Thursday she will be performing six shows in Toronto as part of her Eras Tour. Rogers Communications is presenting Swift’s six Toronto dates with three shows at Rogers Centre from Nov. 14-16, 2024, and then three more shows at the venue the following week from Nov. 21-23, 2024.

Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era ???? Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams ! Verified fan registration for all shows is open now – visit https://t.co/xw6YMN3GMc for more information pic.twitter.com/DCgFQb2U22 — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) August 3, 2023

“We’re thrilled that fans will enjoy six unforgettable shows with Taylor Swift,” says Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer for Rogers.

The upcoming dates will make Swift the first artist ever to perform a six-show stint at the downtown Toronto stadium. It will also mark her first Canadian tour dates since 2018.

The American singer made headlines earlier this year when there were initially no Canadian dates announced as part of her international tour. The perceived snub even prompted a personal invitation from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and saw an MP file an “official” grievance “ in the House of Commons “on behalf of all Swifties” in the country.

“Like millions of other Canadians, we’re fans of Taylor Swift and saw the national conversation where Swifties were wondering if she was coming to Canada. We reached out to her tour promoter, highlighted Rogers Centre as a world class venue and the partnership formed from there! We can’t wait to host Taylor for six big shows at Rogers Centre in 2024,” Tony Staffieri, President and CEO of Rogers Communications, says.

Verified fan registration is now open for the Toronto dates and fans can register until Saturday at 5 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, Aug. 9, and only fans that receive an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue for the Verified Fan Onsale. More information can be found here .

Minutes after the announcement went live, Ticketmaster reported “heavy traffic” on their Verified Fan webpage, which the platform says is meant as a protective measure against online scalper bots.

Swift began her Eras tour earlier this year, performing songs from her chart-topping career against the backdrop of an elaborate stage design for each album.

The U.S. leg of the tour kicked off in March and wraps up this week with six sold-out shows in Los Angeles. The international leg of the tour begins in late August and continues well into next year with stops in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe.

The Toronto shows will take place at a new-look Rogers Centre. The stadium underwent significant renovations this past winter with another round of renos to lower bowl seating expected to be completed before the Toronto Blue Jays kick off their 2024 season next April.

Rogers Communications says it will offer fans and its customers an opportunity to win tickets, with more details on how to win coming later this month.

“We’re all about connecting Canadians and bringing them the best content and experiences,” says Tweddle.

“Beyond being a highly-acclaimed singer and songwriter, she is truly an icon and role model to people all around the world.”

Taylor Swift Toronto tickets are already being listed for thousands of dollars

A selection of Taylor Swift tickets for Toronto dates with hefty price tags are already on sale days ahead of the official Ticketmaster release.

Just a day ago, the pop icon announced she is finally stopping in Canada for a six-show stint in November 2024, after initially skipping the country for the second leg of her Eras Tour.

Her concerts are set to take place at the Rogers Centre’s more than 50,000 seat-capacity stadium on Nov. 14, 15, and 16, followed by Nov 21, 22, and 23.

Tickets for the shows, still well over a year away, will go on sale on Wednesday, with only verified fan registration open at this point in time.

However, on the ticket reseller website StubHub, tickets for all six shows are already posted – and the prices are extraordinary.

The cheapest ticket available was just under $2,000 to sit in a 500-level seat while section 100-level tickets near $10,000. The highest ticket value for a ground level ticket was more than $13,200.

The question is – how are these tickets for sale before the official release?

A Ticketmaster spokesperson told CTV News Toronto that no tickets are sold before the Eras Tour verified fan sale begins.

toronto eras tour seating chart

“Those speculative listings are not real tickets that the seller actually owns,” Ticketmaster’s website states.

Canadian music commentator Eric Alper said it could be the case that scalpers are crossing their fingers and hoping that the tickets they were promised in a specific section will actually come to fruition.

Or, they could belong to Rogers Centre season ticket holders who have pre-sale access to events at the venue, which Alper said happens 99.9 per cent of the time.

He said tickets usually pop up on StubHub before their official release – but only now, concert-goers are talking about it because of the unprecedented demand for Swift’s Eras Tour.

toronto eras tour seating chart

If the tickets turn out to be fake, StubHub may in their “sole discretion” attempt to locate replacement tickets or provide a full refund, according to the company’s website. CTV News Toronto reached out to StubHub but received no response before publication.

As for the sky-high prices, Eras Tour fans are spending on average U.S. $1,300 – equivalent to more than $1,700 in Canada – on tickets, merchandise, alcohol, food and parking.

“We ain’t seen nothing yet,” Alper said.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour coming to Canada with six nights at Toronto’s Rogers Centre

Taylor Swift ’s Eras Tour will make its way to Canada next year with six nights booked at Toronto’s Rogers Centre .

The singer-songwriter announced on Thursday that she will perform Nov. 14 to 16, and Nov. 21 to 23, 2024 – the only Canadian city with stops on her schedule.

Rogers Communications, which is a presenting sponsor, says the Cruel Summer singer is the first artist to perform six nights at the stadium in a single tour.

Tickets go on sale Aug. 9, with Verified Fan registration open now through Saturday at 5 p.m.

Minutes after the announcement went live, Ticketmaster reported “heavy traffic” on their Verified Fan webpage, which the platform says is meant as a protective measure against online scalper bots.

Ms. Swift began her tour earlier this year, performing songs from her chart-topping career against the backdrop of an elaborate stage design for each album.

Demand for tickets has led to outages on Ticketmaster and led to significant spikes in tourism in the markets she visits.

When an earlier tour date announcement didn’t include any Canadian dates, many Swifties expressed their outrage online, leading some observers to wonder why the performer would skip over the country when she hadn’t performed here since 2018.

Ms. Swift’s perceived snub even reached the House of Commons, with a Conservative MP saying he would file an “official” grievance “on behalf of all Swifties,” while Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a plea on social media for the singer to come to Canada .

Rogers says they helped arrange the Toronto stop.

“We’ve been working on this for weeks and we’re thrilled to bring her tour to Canada,” said Terrie Tweddle, chief brand and communications officer at Rogers Communications, in a statement.

The hitmaker is set to wrap the first U.S. leg of her tour next week with six shows in Los Angeles, after which she heads abroad.

As part of Thursday’s announcement, Ms. Swift also announced dates in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis.

Our 5 Tips For Scoring Tickets For The Toronto Eras Tour On Ticketmaster

The next sale on Ticketmaster for Verified Fans is August 16th! Here are some tips to help you get seats at a reasonable price.

Jessica Ramos

Swifties, the next sale is in 5 days! If you’re a Verified Fan and want to make sure you’re able to score tickets before they’re unavailable, then here is our survival guide to snagging Eras tour tickets on TicketMaster on Wed Aug 16, 11am EDT.

1. Know where you want to sit and your budget

To score tickets, you’ve got to be fast. We’d recommend checking out the stadium map beforehand so that you can get a feel for the sections. You should have at least a couple of back up plans just in case the section you were hoping for is sold out. Prices are ranging anywhere from $90 to $500 depending on where you want to sit and depending on the day.

2. Your number in the queue doesn’t determine your success rate

You could be number 12,500 and still be able to snag tickets, so don’t give up. Things like budget and seat choice all determine whether or not you’ll be able to checkout with the coveted ticket, with higher budgets having an easier time finding available tickets.

toronto eras tour seating chart

3. There are 3 ways to browse tickets–and reviews are mixed

There are 3 different ways you can view tickets: map, list, or best available. While fans are split on which is better (for some, the map is glitchy) the best advice is pick one and be quick.

4. Don’t give up!

There’s a time limit for scrolling and for holding tickets in your cart so when it’s your time and you’re scrolling the website, don’t give up if things are looking sold out. If you keep refreshing, other people’s carts may empty meaning that ticket has just become up for grabs.

5. Ticketmaster will officially say when tickets are sold out for the day.

Once Ticketmaster officially alerts that tickets are sold out, then unfortnately you’ve missed your shot this time. Until that official alert though, you got this Swifties!

Good luck to everyone next Wednesday, we think you’ll need it.

Taylor Swift is coming Toronto for six shows. Here's how much she stands to make.

Hannah Alberga

Taylor Swift is finally booking an Eras Tour stop in Toronto and making amends with a six-show stint in the city.

The “Anti-Hero” singer-songwriter announced on Thursday that she will be spending almost two weeks in Toronto in the fall of 2024.

  • The information you need to know, sent directly to you: Download the CP24 app

Her first string of concerts is booked at the Rogers Centre — a venue with a capacity of more than 50,000 — on Nov. 14, 15, and 16, followed by another stint on Nov 21, 22, and 23.

“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era,” Swift teased on Twitter while announcing the second leg of her tour coming to Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis and Toronto.

The mega pop star said tickets aren’t on sale yet, but they will be on Wednesday . In the meantime, verified fan registration for Toronto shows is now open.

American musician Gracie Abrams, who Swift has called one of her favourite friends while performing together in Ohio, will be joining her on stage in Toronto.

In June, Canadian fans were left in the lurch when Swift announced 40 new dates for her Eras Tour, including Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australia – skipping Canada entirely.

It seems Swift is eager to smooth over the rough patch with Canadians – the only other cities that got six shows were Los Angeles and Singapore.

The original omission pushed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to tweet at Swift with paraphrased lyrics from her own songs, posting, "It's me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don't make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon."

Following the news of Swift's tour making it north of the U.S. border, the prime minister tweeted, "We're ready for it."

We’re ready for it. — Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) August 3, 2023

TAYLOR SWIFT WILL HAVE ‘ENORMOUS’ IMPACT ON TORONTO

Destinations Toronto Executive Vice President Andrew Weir said Swift’s shows will have an “enormous” impact on the city’s tourism and hospitality industries when they need it most.

“That's a critical time for our industry, just as the time when a lot of business travel starts to subside, leisure travel for the holidays hasn't really picked up yet,” Weir told CP24.

As the only city in the country with shows booked, Weir said he expects the geographic radius of Swifties inundating Toronto will be significant, and in turn, reflect a substantial monetary value.

On average, Era Tour fans are spending U.S. $1,300 – equivalent to more than $1,700 in Canada – on tickets, merchandise, alcohol, food, parking and hotels, Canadian music correspondent Eric Alper told CP24.

Taylor Swift

“You tabulate that, she could be raking in anywhere between $75 million and $100 million just based on these six dates alone,” Alper said.

He notes that several days linger between Swift’s Toronto shows, which could leave room for more dates to be announced, or even a quick visit to stages in another major city, like Montreal or Vancouver.

THE ERAS TOUR SO FAR

The first leg of the Eras Tour launched in March with the final date booked in Brazil at the end of November 2023.After a few months to rest her vocal cords, Swift will be back on stage in Tokyo in February 2024.

The three-hour concert takes fans through the eras of the Grammy-winner’s 17-year career, spanning from “Love Story” in her earliest era to her most recent “Anti-Hero.”

With the first stretch of the tour nearly in the rear-view, Swift wrote, “really blows my mind that we have one last city on the US leg,” on Instagram this week before heading to Santa Clara.

Taylor Swift

While Canadian Swifties are rejoicing about the new tour dates, securing tickets could be a battle in itself. When tickets for the first leg of her Eras Tour were released, Swift broke Ticketmaster with insufficient supply to meet the extraordinary fan demand.

The Outdoor Enthusiast’s Guide to Taylor Swift’s 2024 Eras Tour

If you or your family scored tickets for a T-Swift show, you're likely traveling to an awesome place to see the concert. So we dug up the best adventures to have in the remaining Eras tour locations, from the Netherlands to New Orleans.

Image

Heading out the door? Read this article on the Outside app available now on iOS devices for members! >","name":"in-content-cta","type":"link"}}'>Download the app .

Traveling to see Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour in 2024? Luckily, she’s headed to a bunch of badass places that happen to be outdoor-adventure meccas, too. Make the most of your fan-filled trip by adding these must-dos to your itinerary, all synced up with international and domestic dates on The Eras Tour’s 2024 schedule .

My wife and I flew to Chicago last June to see our favorite artist in concert, and had such a good time we almost immediately bought tickets to the next show we could find, which happened to be in Lyon, France, in June. Talking about getting tickets to a Taylor Swift show would take up an entire article on its own—it’s famously difficult and most easily navigated if, like us, you’re a super fan. But, if you are currently holding tickets for a future concert, that’s exciting, since it may be a reason to explore a part of the world you’ve never seen before.

Why Taylor? I was obviously introduced to her music through my wife (and sister-in-law), but it’s hard not to find stuff to like in her catchy, cleverly-written songs about female empowerment. If nothing else, standing in a stadium alongside tens of thousands of young women having the best night of their lives is something that’s hard to walk away from without having a good time.

Eras Tour Paris and Lyon, France

Show Dates: May 9 – 12 (Paris); June 2 and 3 (Lyon)

Flying all the way to Paris just to see Taylor would probably be worth it on its own, but because we’re going there at the nicest time of year, we figure we should make the most of it. So, we’ve booked a few nights at our favorite hotel on Île Saint-Louis, plan to visit my parents at their farm near Limoges, and will then rendezvous with family and friends in Lyon for the concert, plus a few nights of gorging ourselves on that city’s  famous culinary scene. After all that, we’ll be ready for some exercise.

campsite in Écrins National Park in France

A few years ago, we took the opportunity on a similar trip to visit France’s Écrin National Park, and spent two days backpacking through its high alpine backcountry . There, we slept under a 500-foot waterfall, watched wild ibex and chamois frolic while golden eagles soared overhead, and were positively swarmed by marmots. The best part? We saw zero other people. Compare the park’s 800,000 annual visitors to the 4 million who visit Yellowstone , and you can see why, with a little hiking, it’s not hard to find yourself a slice of the French Alps you can call your own for a night or two. And we’ll return to the park after June’s concert in order to recreate the experience.

If you want to do the same, the easiest way to make it work is by backpacking, and bringing what you would for any high-elevation summer trip . You’ll need to rent a car (either drive from Paris, or take the train to a nearby city), but as compensation for that additional expense, you’ll get to drive in the Alps, which includes some of the most fun and visually stunning roads in the world. (There will be no need to travel off-road, so a small, sporty car is fine.) Leave your nice clothes in the trunk, out of sight, and make sure you throw your passport and wallet into your pack while you camp—vehicle break-ins are a problem at trailheads in Europe, just like they are in America .

We like to stay another night in Paris before we fly out. Since driving in the city is a nightmare, I return the rental car to the airport on our way back into the city, then take the metro (RER) into town. While planning your route, don’t forget how small Europe is. On that same trip, we popped into Italy for lunch after hiking back to the car, and still made it into Paris in time to shower and head to a fancy dinner.

Here are outdoors tips for every other stop on Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour 2024.

Eras Tour Stockholm, Sweden

kayaking in stockholm sweden

Show Dates: May 17-19

If you have tickets to see Taylor in Stockholm this May, you’re making me jealous. Late spring in Sweden is gorgeous. Take advantage of the spring weather by getting on the water. Get Out Kayak will rent you boats and other equipment, or take you on a guided tour of some of the 30,000 islands on the archipelago. Day trips start at under $95-a-person. Like other nordic countries, Sweden has a right to roam law that enables you to explore most wild places, so if you have time, rent camping gear from Get Out too, and enjoy a night under the stars on one of those islands.

Eras Tour Lisbon, Portugal

surfer riding a big wave in nazare portugal

Show Dates: May 24-25

Portugal’s Atlantic coast is famous for its big waves. Even if you don’t surf, head over to watch people ride the famously huge waves in Nazare. More accessible (read: easier) surf can be found in nearby Coxos. Tours, lessons, and gear are available from Lisbon Surf Connection . A day trip to Nazare costs $60-a-person if you just want to watch, while a rental board and wetsuit can be had for about $38.

Eras Tour Madrid, Spain

runner and dog walker in el retiro park madrid

Show Dates: May 29-30

It’s going to start getting hot in Madrid in late May. The 125-acre El Retiro park in the city center is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and includes expansive shaded gardens and a pond you can row boats in.

On the west side of the Manzanares river, you’ll find the even larger, 3,800-acre Casa de Campo. Use the city’s bike share service, Bicimad , and pedal under the pine trees. Rates run just 50 cents per half-hour.

Eras Tour Edinburgh, Scotland

Knoydart scottish highlands with waterfall and green field

Show Dates: June 7-9

June in the Scottish Highlands may be marked by as much as one or two hours of clear skies. Pack rain gear and hike to the most remote pub in the countr y, which is 18 miles one way. Food at The Old Forge , in the Knoydart Peninsula, is said to be better than is typical in the country, but there’s no accommodations to spend the night. Rather than carry heavy camping gear, we’d rent a room or house in the nearby village . You’ll appreciate having a roof over your head and a place to dry out your socks. Just make sure you book ahead of time.

Eras Tour Liverpool, England

canal boats in Liverpool England near rodley

Show Dates: June 13-15

The neatest thing about northwest England is the canals. Built before the advent of rail to connect British industry with ports sailing to America and elsewhere, the canals are now almost-forgotten byways that wind their way through the pastoral English countryside. You can stay on a canal boat in downtown Liverpool  (or plenty of places elsewhere), hike or bike paths that run along them, or rent canoes or kayaks to paddle them starting at under $40-a-day.

Eras Tour Cardiff, Wales

summit of pen y fan mountain in wales

Show Date: June 18

Once there, skip town and make the drive to the Cwm Gwdi trailhead for Pen y Fan, which at 2,910 feet is the tallest peak in the Brecon Beacons. Don’t worry, all road signs are in English, too. The United Kingdom’s Special Air Service famously conducts its selection trials on the mountain, but the 7.5-mile hike to the summit from Cwm Gwdi is much easier than their 22-mile trek. Don’t be fooled by the sub-3,000 foot elevation, terrain on Pen y Fan can be treacherous and Wales isn’t famous for its sunshine.

Eras Tour London, England

red deer in richmond park, london at dawn

Show Dates: June 21-24; August 15-20

Take the tube out to Richmond and walk up the hill to Richmond Park, making sure you walk up the terrace for the views over the Thames. You can hike the park’s 7-mile trail that follows the perimeter while watching the 600 plus head of red and fallow deer that, unlike wildlife in the U.S., belong solely to the King. Head back down to town for a pint at The Prince’s Head , and make sure you entertain the locals with your best Ted Lasso impression.

Eras Tour Dublin, Ireland

cliffs of moher in county clare ireland

Show Dates: June 28-30

Get away from the hokey tourist attractions (think: the Blarney Stone) and drive the two hours   over to Galway on the west coast to hike the Cliffs of Moher. The most popular route runs 12 miles between the scenic villages of Liscannor and Doolin . You know what I’m about to say: pack rain gear and waterproof boots.

Eras Tour Amsterdam, the Netherlands

two women standup paddleboarding on Amsterdam canals

Show Dates: July 4-6

Rent a stand up paddle board from Canal SUP (from $16-a-day)   and see the city from its most famous attraction. Amsterdam is also famous for its cycling. There’s plenty of places to rent one, or you can take advantage of the city’s bike share program for about $5-a-day.

Eras Tour Zürich, Switzerland

Paragliding over the Swiss Alps at Männlichen in Wengen

Show Dates: July 9-10

You’ll be 30 miles from the Swiss Alps , some of the most beautiful mountains on earth. Rent a car and drive into them, where virtually any activity is possible. From mountain biking to via ferrata to paragliding, you won’t go wrong. Heck, just driving around is about as good as it gets, too. For a basecamp check out Camping Arolla , the highest campground in the country. There, you can rent accommodation (glamping tents start at $118-a-night) or bring your own tent or camper. Parking spots start under $10-a-night).

Eras Tour Milan, Italy

ferry boat in the town of Bellagio, Italy, as the sun sets on Lake Como

Show Dates: July 13-14

Rent a car (or preferably a motorcycle) and drive up to Lake Como. There, take one of the car ferry routes across the lake at sundown. For just a few bucks, you’ll get views Lake Como regular George Clooney might be jealous of. My favorite town on the lake is Mandello del Lario. Home to the world’s oldest motorcycle factory, you can tour Moto Guzzi headquarters , or simply enjoy the town’s working class heritage to enjoy an honest, affordable meal. Bring your hiking shoes and take the 5.6 mile loop up to Alp d’Era for stunning mountain views.

Eras Tour Hamburg, Germany

Lake Binnenalster, Alster Lakes, Hamburg, Germany

Show Dates: July 23-24

Taking a rowboat (from $16-an-hour ) across the Alster Lakes is the definitive experience here, but Hamburg is also a great place to cycle. The city’s StadtRAD bike share program is everywhere and costs only 12 Euros per day.

Eras Tour Munich, Germany

group of hikers on Zugspitze mountain in germany

Show Dates: July 27-28

Most people visit Munich to drink beer, but you can also do that after hiking. Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze, stands 9,718 feet tall, and takes most of the day just to climb the 14 miles, let alone descend. A faster option is the cable car (tickets are about $67 per-person), and you can also take a classic cog-wheel train for the same price to the plateau, about halfway up, where many shorter hikes are available.

Eras Tour Warsaw, Poland

Aerial view of Warsaw old town in Poland during sunset

Show Dates: August 1-3

Did you know that Warsaw is home to stunning river beaches ? Located on the Vistula river, you can sunbathe, swim, or even enjoy a campfire. And visiting one won’t take you too far from the city’s stunning architecture and many historic castles.

Eras Tour Vienna, Austria

Schönbrunner Schlosspark (Park of Schonbrunn) in autumn colors, Vienna, Austria

Show Dates: August 9-10

Vienna maintains 14 excellent hiking trails right inside the city. The free Vienna Hiking Passport contains all the maps and information you’ll need, and you can fill it with stamps collected from each route. Earn all 14, and the city will   reward you with a commemorative pin.

Vienna is better known for its many spas . So you can unwind after all those hikes in a thermal pool or with a good massage. Therme Wien is the largest thermal pool in the city, day passes start at $22.

Eras Tour Miami, Florida

canoeing in mist in Everglades National Park

Show Dates: October 18-19

October is hurricane season in Florida, so I’d travel armed with backup plans. I’d also take the opportunity to go see the Everglades before they’re destroyed by climate change. There’s all sorts of ways you can do that, from self guided tours of the national park, to guided boat experiences. But if it was me, I’d help out with local conservation efforts by booking a guided python hunt. The species is invasive, and kills just about every native species of wildlife there is, and the hunting season is open year-round. You don’t even need to know how to shoot or hold a hunting license if all you want to do is tag along as locals catch their own. A night with the Python Huntress goes for $1,800 for a group of three. Plus, you’ll get to experience Florida culture at its finest.

Eras Tour New Orleans, Louisiana

Man canoeing through wetlands in new orleans Louisiana

Show Dates: October 25-27

Sure, y0u can visit to eat and drink like everyone else does, but New Orleans is another swamp town, and the best way to spend time in that unique environment in a or kayak. A three-hour kayak tour of the bayou can be had for as little as $65 per-person. You can also fish for speckled trout in Lake Ponchartrain on your own; the cooler weather in October starts getting them active. Or, head to the marsh to catch redfish on a fly with a guide for $805-a-day, per-boat.

Eras Tour Indianapolis, Indiana

Scenic view of lake against sky, Fort Harrison State Park, near Indianapolis

Show Dates: November 1-3

Indianapolis isn’t exactly a mountain town. So if you want to have an adventure, you’ll need to get creative. Indy Acres offers four different outdoor paintball fields, with both public events and private rentals available. Games are run seven days a week, and start at just $28 per-person, including equipment rental.  Nearby Parke County is also famous for its covered bridges , boasting 31 total. Those would make a great day-long driving tour. Hiking trails are available in Fort Harrison State Park. I’d take the 4-mile Lawrence Creek Trail , which will offer the best odds for solitude. There should be plenty of fall colors left in early November.

Eras Tour Toronto, Canada

Young couple hiking and relaxing in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada

Show Dates: November 14-23

Add a few nights to your trip before or after the concert, and head to a cottage on one of the 250,000 lakes   north of the city. It’s the definitive Ontario activity. Fall on the lakes is particularly beautiful, and you’ll be getting dustings of snow by November. Make sure you rent a winterized cabin and pack warm clothes. Look for cabins in Muskoka or Georgian Bay if it’s your first time, those areas enjoy more facilities and services than more rural climes.

Eras Tour Vancouver, Canada

puget sound ferry and orca

Show Dates: December 6-8

December is stormy in Vancouver. Sure, you could chase some early season snow in the nearby mountains, but I’d head for nearby Vancouver Island, and the many hotels and cabins located on its pacific coast. There, you can take in full might of the ocean, while staying safe inside facilities that run from basic to ultra luxury. The most famous hotel on the island is Wickaninnish Inn, where rooms during storm season start at $400-a-night. I’ve never not seen orcas on the ferry ride over.

Twenty One Pilots will celebrate the release of Clancy with The Clancy World Tour, their biggest headline tour ever set to get underway August 15th at Denver, CO’s Ball Arena. Last month, Twenty One Pilots returned with news of Clancy and released the album’s lead single “ Overcompensate ” alongside an accompanying official music video directed by Reel Bear Media. The track, which has rocketed up the Alternative Radio chart currently sitting Top 5, made a massive impact upon launch as it welcomed  listeners back to the band’s immersive world of ‘Trench.’

Clancy is currently available for pre-order in a variety of physical formats including: two limited-edition deluxe box sets, four vinyl variants with additional retailer exclusives, an exclusive CD + Journal Book and a Cassette + Photocard Wallet, and much more. For the full suite of Clancy pre-order offerings, visit Twenty One Pilots’ official store .

Having amassed over 33 billion streams worldwide and over 3 million tickets sold across global headline tours, the Columbus, OH based duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have established themselves as one of the most successful bands of the 21 st century and redefined the sound of a generation.  Co-produced by Joseph and Paul Meany, Clancy  marks the final chapter in an ambitious multi-album narrative first introduced in the band’s 2015 multi-Platinum breakthrough,  Blurryface .  Furthermore, Clancy’s forthcoming release on May 17 th coincides with the 9 th anniversary of Blurryface, which was released exactly nine years prior to the day.

Twenty One Pilots extended the ambitious concept laid out in Blurryface with their 2018 Platinum-certified album  TRENCH .  Featuring the multi-Platinum and Platinum singles “Chlorine,” “My Blood” and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated “Jumpsuit,” the album graced spots on “Best of” year-end lists by  Billboard ,  KERRANG! ,  Alternative Press , and  Rock Sound —who placed it at #1.

The duo’s 2021 RIAA Gold certified epic Scaled And Icy debuted at No. 1 on  Billboard ‘s Top “Rock Albums” and “Alternative Albums” charts while landing at No. 3 on the “Billboard 200,” marking the biggest opening week for a rock album in 2021. The record is highlighted by the #1 Alternative Radio hits “ The Outside ,” “ Saturday ,” and “ Shy Away ,” the latter of which ascended to #1 at the format in just three weeks, placing the duo in an elite group of acts with multiple songs to rise to #1 at the format in three weeks or less including: U2, R.E.M., The Cure, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Foo Fighters.

About Twenty One Pilots:

Grammy-Award winning band, Twenty One Pilots, have shifted music and culture as an incomparable creative force and with an ever-evolving vision. The Columbus, OH duo—Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun— have tallied over 33 billion global streams and counting, sold north of three million tickets worldwide, notched dozens of multi-Platinum certifications, and even claimed a spot in the Guinness® Book of World Records. In historic fashion, their quadruple-Platinum breakout LP, Blurryface , took flight as “the first album to notch a RIAA Gold or Platinum certification for every one of its songs ,” while Vessel followed suit and achieved the same distinction. They elevated to rarified air as “one of only 18 artists to earn multiple RIAA Diamond certifications , ” going Diamond with “Stressed Out” and “Heathens.” 2018’s Platinum-certified Trench extended the ambitious concept laid out in Blurryface and delivered the multi-Platinum and Platinum singles: “Chlorine,” “My Blood” and the GRAMMY® Award-nominated “Jumpsuit.” They followed Trench with their Gold-certified LP Scaled And Icy , achieving “the biggest opening week for a rock album in 2021” by capturing #1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts and crashing the Top 3 of the Billboard 200. Beyond rapturous headline shows at arenas and festivals worldwide, Twenty One Pilots have notably architected an immersive world without comparison, originating a multi-album conceptual arc across Blurryface , Trench , and Scaled And Icy . Exactly nine years to the date of the Blurryface album release, they complete this story on their seventh full-length offering, Clancy [Fueled By Ramen], out May 17, 2024. Led by the single “Overcompensate,” the LP signals the dawn of another era for Twenty One Pilots and alternative rock music at large.
