Our mission is to make your Pony Tour the highlight of your vacation! We will do everything we can to make that happen! Our tours allow you to have the best, up close and personal experience to see ponies and other wildlife such as eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, dolphin, and beautiful sunsets around Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. During tours, we talk about the history of the island as well as some of the unique personalities of ponies, such as our most famous pony, “Riptide!” Each experience includes a tour of the island and cruise through small guts and waterways to get you up close to an abundance of wildlife and scenery. In addition, we will stop and show you where the pony swim event occurs, of course! We also run brand new boats every year! The captain is native to the island and has over 40 years on the waters around Chincoteague and Assateague. …

Phenomenal tour. Captain Mike still gets excited about his daily finds despite being a native and running these tours daily. I appreciate his enthusiasm because he really tries to go the extra mile to make the tour as worthwhile as possible. He brings a lot of energy and engages well with little ones. In addition to the ponies - bald eagles, a pelican, string rays and dolphins were spotted during our tour! The boat itself is very clean and comfortable. 10/10 - highly recommend!

After hiking Assateague Island and driving every inch multiple times without as little as a pony poo sighting we decided to hire the professionals! We were blown away by the results! Not only did I not get one mosquito bite, but I wasn't even out of breath and I saw multiple different pony herds, a BALD EAGLE, dolphins, wild Turkey, Sitka deer, and all kinds of wild life that I can't properly name! It was absolutely incredible!!! This is absolutely the way to view all of the island wildlife and we didn't disturb them from the comfort of Mike's high end newer pontoon style boat. It even handled the waves like a Cadillac and my kids that occasionally get car sick simply giggled when we hit some bigger waves. They loved the ride! The ponies were the highlight, of course. Multiple bands could be observed within feet of the boat. Their manes and tails blowing wildly in the wind as the sun shown on their shiny coats. A few prized babies that will carry on the legacy of the Chincoteague ponies were a pleasant sight. If we get the chance to come back we will definitely contact Mike again for another tour and fun adventure. It exceeded our expectations and this has been the highlight of our nationwide journey!

What a great way to spend the morning! My husband Martin and I were the only guests on Mike's boat for a morning tour, and boy, did we get the special treatment. We cruised in and out of the marshes of Assateague island, saw ponies, eagles, dolphins, loads of birds, learned about the Sugar Shack, and heard great stories from Captain Mike. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I would happily recommend it to my friends!

These guys are top notch. Very personable and knowledgeable about the area. Their equipment is new and well kept. My family enjoyed the private tour and being able to see the famous Chincoteague horses. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your vacation highlight.

This was our best experience in Chincoteague. I was on a single mom trip with three young kids (7, 4, and 1.5) - very anxious about managing the kids on a boat for 2 hours but not wanting to miss the wild pony experience. Captain Mike did not disappoint - he was helpful, flexible, patient and kind. We saw multiple herds (with their foals - my kids LOVED the baby ponies!) up close and personal. He also allowed both of my older kids to 'drive' the boat safely and their grins spanned from ear to ear. I don't know how we lucked out in finding this, but it was an amazing experience with Captain Mike. I would recommended it over and over and over again to anyone who might be considering it. You won't regret it.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Up the Bay Pony Tours. Mike was a tremendous tour guide. Very fair and professional on the business side and extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic on the actual tour. Though you're never guaranteed to see ponies, Mike made every effort possible to find a band that we could see. When we eventually located a band, Mike talked through the tendencies of a few of the different individual ponies. Given that he's a local, he was also able to talk through the history of the island and pony swim as well. If we are ever back down this way again, we'll look up Mike for another tour. Captain Mike was great. we had to reschedule due to weather and he git us in on a day that he had scheduled to be off. it was great. we were about 50 ft from some ponies . he tried to show us both herds but the weather was a bit iffy. we saw 4 bald eagles, osprey, pelicans and tons of egrets and cormorants. it's nice to see a local still get excited to see the ponies cut thru the water and splash around to meet up with the rest of the herd. its a personal tour instead of 30-40 of your closest friends.

We had the best time last week on our boat tour with Mike! He was so knowledgeable with the island and it was clear he was passionate about the island, the ponies, and his job. Not only could he name all the stallions but many of the mares and could identify them by sight and knew there habits to be able to take us for a great view of the ponies based on where they were likely to be that time of day. He actually took us a round about way that included some lovely sights and beat all the other boat tours to the first pony cluster. Not only was the tour lovely but the boat was very luxurious and probably the nicest tritoon I've ever seen. The company was really great in Mike, we very much enjoyed getting to know him. This is a must-do for anyone visiting Chincoteague and we plan to go back for a tour with Mike every year during our annual trip because we know he will tailor the tours to us and keep it fresh and amazing every time.

Oh my gosh! I don't know where to begin. We went out this morning on a pony tour with Captain Mike, and it was an unforgettable experience! My husband and I were with our daughter, son-in-law and twin 5-year old grandchildren. Captain Mike was a wealth of information not only about the ponies, but the town of Chincoteague itself. He was incredibly interesting and a great story teller. We read about the ponies before coming here, but he brought the history of Chincoteague and the ponies of Assateague Island to life. It was my granddaughter's dream to see the ponies but knew ahead of time they still might be farther away than she had hoped. Captain Mike delivered. We saw a small herd from a distance a short time into the tour, but Captain Mike knew the tide would be in soon that would allow us to get closer to see Riptide's band of ponies. Riptide is the son of Surfer Dude, if you happen to read the children's book, "Surfer Dude". We were within 30 feet of some of the ponies once the tide came in. We saw foals that were a few weeks old to the smallest that was only a week old. Riptide was majestic and beautiful. Captain Mike explained the entire process of how the wild ponies on Assateague Island are managed and maintained to keep about 150 ponies on the island year after year. His description of the running of the ponies across the water and through town sealed the deal for us.........we are coming back to Chincoteague for the annual event and will definitely repeat our boat tour with Captain Mike. Much to the delight of the grandkids, they were even able to "steer" the boat for a bit under his supervision. You always have "a best" memory from a vacation, and our tour with "Up the Bay Pony Tours" is our #1. We highly recommend them. Captain Mike will not disappoint you! Our mission is to make your Pony Tour the highlight of your vacation! We will do everything we can to make that happen!

Our tours allow you to have the best, up close and personal experience to see ponies and other wildlife such as eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, dolphin, and beautiful sunsets around Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. 

During tours, we talk about the history of the island as well as some of the unique personalities of ponies, such as our most famous pony, “Riptide!”  

Each experience includes a tour of the island and cruise through small guts and waterways to get you up close to an abundance of wildlife and scenery. In addition, we will stop and show you where the pony swim event occurs, of course!

Personalized tours also available such as Pony Swim, rocket launches, dinner cruises, and sunset and sunrise tours. We also do trips to Ocean City, Maryland!   

All our boats are brand-new for 2021!  Our boats are 24 foot long and have plenty of room for 6 people to walk about, stretch out, and relax. The boats we run are tri-toons that allow us to get into very shallow water to get up close to the ponies and all the wildlife.  The tri-toons are very stable and also allow us to venture out into the ocean to search for dolphins and other wildlife!  

ABOUT THE CAPTAIN: Captain Mike

Captain Mike is a resident of Chincoteague Island who grew up spending most of his summers with family that lived on the island. He spent most of his time fishing and crabbing with his grandfather and getting to know the back bays around Chincoteague and Assateague. During the day Captain Mike enjoys taking passengers around the island in search of ponies and wildlife with the mission of making each tour the best experience possible. Captain Mike’s passion for the island and fishing continues on today as he also owns and operates a fishing charter business that focuses mostly on night-time shark fishing.

At Lemos Farm, children can experience the joy of riding a pony. We offer two different pony rides, hand led and circle ring, all year long. During the Sept/Oct. season, we transition to using only our circle ring for general admission riders. For a complete list of ride rules , explore our link. Train Rides

Come join us on an adventure through time and travel to the fun town of cowboy country. At Lemos Farm, families can hop on a train ride that takes you on a unique, quaint, and peaceful ride through our small western town. On the train, each member of the family is encouraged to let their imagination run free while they see what life was like back during the cowboy days. So grab an ice-cream cone, some popcorn, and a soda because it’s time to enjoy a train ride at Lemos Farm.

Baby goats, pigs, sheep, and bunnies all for you to pet at the same time… what on earth could be more exciting!? A food cup is $2, but the fun had is priceless. The Petting Zoo is also included in the unlimited pass. Come see what’s new at our family petting zoo; you might even witness a baby goat being born the day your family comes to visit.

Climb Aboard!

Take an adventure on the largest hay truck on the coast side! The Lemos Farm hayride journeys through the unseen parts of the ranch not accessible on foot. It’s a scenery rich endeavor that last 10 minutes. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss out on! The hayride runs year-round and is great for the whole family.

Make sure you bring your camera to capture the magic had on this innovative and fun ride. It can very well be the best place your youngin' can learn to drive. For the duration of the ride, children are assigned their own vehicle to drive our circuit course. Come see for yourself the hottest ride everyone is raving about. Our haunted house features two versions: Scary and Non-Scary. For the younger audience we encourage a journey through the non-scary, while the older siblings should elect to confront their deepest fears in the scary version. There’s genuine fun to be had back at the newly updated haunted house and we've been told it’s the scariest one around. It’s guaranteed to scare the yell out of you!

What is the best time of day to see wild ponies and wildlife?

Anytime of day is great. Wild horses graze and move around anytime of the day. Shorebirds, eagles and dolphins are also seen at any time of the day. April through October is awesome.

Our fleet includes 40′ Coast Guard Certified pontoon boat “MISTY,” 24′ pontoon boat “MISTY,” and 2024 brand new 24′ skiff. All of our tour boats are guaranteed to get you to the best areas (see photos ). A Coast Guard Certified vessel undergoes stability tests, periodic inspections at various phases of construction, continuous hull inspections & annual safety inspections by the coast guard. 40′ MISTY has a large top and a restroom. Assateague Wild Ponies

The waterways here provide an extraordinary array of protected coves, channels and inlets as we search for wild ponies and other things we discover. The wild horses live in family groups called “bands” and graze on the salt marsh grasses at various remote areas where we see them. These horses are ac tually a registered breed known as  Chincoteague Ponies and are as unique as they are impressive to watch. Each Summer, about 60 new foals are born.  Approximately 150 wild ponies graze in various family groups along the scenic interior coastlines we can reach by boat here.

The smooth waters between the barrier islands of Assateague and Chincoteague are perfect to enjoy the scenery & various wildlife. The sightseeing tour take you in comfort through some of Assateague and Chincoteague’s most spectacular scenery including the lighthouse. Jump aboard and head across to nearby Assateague Island National Seashore and Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. The Assateague Explorer Chincoteague boat tour to Assateague is the best way to see the wild horses & wildlife along the Wildlife Refuge. Captain Mark (the founder of pony watching by boat) has been called the “pony whisperer” and for good reason. He knows where to look for the wild ponies and was featured on the Good Morning America show as the pioneer of Pony Watching by boat. He has worked as a park ranger for the National Park Service and is a native of Chincoteague. His family has lived on Chincoteague Island since the early 1800’s. His parents were classmates with the children from the famous book “Misty”. Capt. Mark’s grandfather had a starring role in the film “Misty of Chincoteague” and some of his grandfather’s horses (such as “Phantom” Misty’s mother) were featured in the movie. Une activité proche de la nature et de l'animal pour les tout petits.

Apprendre, choisir son poney, monter très jeune avec d'autres enfants permet une aventure vers les autres et un apprentissage vers la liberté.

Les enfants ont des ressources surprenantes à condition de les mettre en œuvre. Leur curiosité est immense. Le poney, parfaitement dressé, est un auxiliaire extraordinaire pour favoriser leur développement physique. La latérisation se met alors très tôt en place, et les apprentissages fondamentaux sont possibles rapidement, les risques d'échecs scolaires s'amenuisent.

Les reprises ont lieu par groupe de 5 à 6 enfants, âgés de 11 mois à 4 ans, par tranche d'âge et de niveau. Chaque enfant, en présence des parents, est autonome sur son poney. L'enseignement, étant donné l'âge des cavaliers, vise à déclencher chez eux un processus de plaisir de la découverte.

S'occuper de son poney ou de son cheval fait intégralement partie de l'équitation.

La présence des parents est une sécurité affective, mais ils n'interviennent pas sur le plan technique et laissent son autonomie à l'enfant.

Pas plus de 8 cavaliers par cours.

Cours Baby Poney

Les cours d’équitation baby-poney sont accessibles aux enfants à partir de 3 ans, accompagnés de leurs parents. Les cours de baby poney permettent à votre enfant de découvrir le poney, d’apprendre à le connaitre et à se familiariser avec lui. Nous sommes plus sur de la découverte et de la création de liens que sur de la technique équestre. Les cours se déroulent sous forme de jeux, pour éveiller la curiosité de votre enfant, tout en lui permettant de développer de nouvelles capacités motrices. Ce sont des cours très vivants, souvent accompagnés de musique, où l’on rigole beaucoup. Les parents sont invités à tenir le poney, pour assurer la sécurité des tout-petits mais c’est aussi l’occasion d’un temps d’échange parents-enfants, pour partager et se retrouver autour du poney. La séance de baby-poney dure 45 minutes et se déroule en deux temps : - Au début de la séance, votre enfant va pouvoir choisir son poney, lui faire des caresses (et des bisous), le brosser et lui mettre la selle. - La deuxième partie de la séance se déroule à poney, soit dans le manège, soit en promenade, en fonction du temps et des envies de chacun. Et pour pouvoir accompagner chaque enfant et nous permettre de s’adapter à son apprentissage, ces cours accueillent 4 à 6 enfants maximum.

Le baby-poney est une activité familiale qui développe la psychomotricité de l'enfant.

Nous accueillons vos enfants de 18 mois à 6 ans .

Le baby poney n’est pas un véritable cours d’équitation, mais plutôt des séances de contact avec l’animal et des exercices de psychomotricité.

Les cours se font toujours en compagnie d'un parent qui reste à côté de l'enfant.

Les séances de « Baby poney » sont plus courtes qu’un cours traditionnel afin de garder la concentration de l’enfant.

Il commence par 15 minutes de contact lors du pansage suivi d’environ 35 min à poney et enfin 10 minutes de soins après le cours, soit un total d’une heure avec le poney.

À travers le déplacement et les mouvements du poney, les différents exercices de psychomotricité acquièrent une dimension particulière, améliorant le sens de l'équilibre de votre enfant, prise de confiance en soi, responsabilisation, socialisation…

Il apprend à le soigner, le brosser, l’emmener en main au manège, le respecter, communiquer avec lui, lui parler aussi…

Et progressivement le poney devient l’ami, le compagnon de jeu, le confident parfois…

Le Baby Poney

Pour qui ? Les enfants de 2 ans et demi à 5 ans, accompagnés d’un parent.

Durée ?  1h environ.

But ? Donner à l’enfant les moyens d’acquérir les premières « notions » de l’équitation tout en s’amusant pour tendre vers l’autonomie tout en respectant les consignes de sécurités à pied et à poney.

La forme ?   La séance d'une heure  se décompose de la manière suivante :

15 minutes de préparation du poney : brosser, seller, mettre les filets.

30 minutes de séance : à pied et/ou à poney, exercice sous forme de jeux avec une variété de

thématiques (les couleurs, les émotions, les chiffres, les images, les animaux, les fruits, les saisons,

les légumes, les parties du poney...)

15 minutes de soins au poney : enlever les filets, desseller et rebrosser son poney.

Le fond ? Lors des séances, le rythme de l'enfant et son développement sont respectés. Les enfants sont tous différents. Via l’animal qui est le poney, différents points sont travaillés inconsciemment tels que :

Le développement et la confiance en soi : apprendre de ses erreurs ! On est là pour se tromper !

Le développement sensoriel et perceptif : les 5 sens dans l'environnement qui nous entoure.

La découverte et développement psychomoteur : latéralisation, schéma corporel, espace-

• Panoramic Tour of Moscow: See Moscow beyond the postcard images on a private excursion by car through the city streets including a drive along the banks of the Moskva River. Day 1 Panoramic city tour

Welcome to the glorious capital of Russia, Moscow! You’ll be met by your driver at the airport and taken to your centrally located hotel.

After check-in and rest, meet your private guide at the hotel lobby for a comprehensive tour of Moscow by car. Visit the starkly contrasting Theatre Square to see the stunning Bolshoi Theatre, pass Tverskaya Street, the city’s main boulevard and home to the landmark Yeleseyevskiy Grocery Store.

You’ll enjoy a panoramic drive along the Moskva River, where a huge, controversial state of Peter the Great was erected. Pass by the legendary Gorky Park and the White House before a stop at the architecturally stunning Novodevichy Convent, and the observation platform at Sparrow Hills, for a bird’s eye view over this staggering megalopolis.

Day 2 Red Square and Kremlin

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the historical city centre. Stroll through the Red Square, the hub of cultural life in Moscow, with its elaborate ‘stone flower’ fountain and fantasy-like St Basil’s Cathedral – a postcard-perfect symbol of the nation. Admire the grandiose façade of GUM, the city’s most luxurious shopping centre, and visit Alexander’s Garden, with its eternal flame and the chance to watch a changing of the guards.

Break for lunch before continuing on a tour of the Kremlin and Armoury Chamber, famous of its collection of tsarist fashion, with regalia such as jewel-encrusted crowns, orbs and sceptres as well as arms and armour, exotic gifts from the leaders of faraway lands, and an illustrious case of Imperial Faberge eggs.

As an option* spend an evening on a sumptuous dinner cruise, taking in the stunning sights and city lights of this mesmerising metropolis by night.

Day 3 Metro and Arbat Street

Start a day with a tour of Metro, stopping on the way to marvel at some of the most elaborately decorated stations of the world-famous Moscow subway system. Take a stroll along Old Arbat street - the most famous street in Moscow. Through the centuries Arbat used to be one of the most bohemian places in Moscow. Today Arbat is a promenade full of small cozy cafes and street life.

The afternoon is free for you to either enjoy the rest of the day on your own or choose among optional excursions to explore more of Moscow. Visit the Tretyakov Gallery or Pushkin State Museum to admire Russian art. Join locals for a stroll at the Gorky or VDNH park.

Visit beautiful Kolomeskoye Estate or Izmailovo Kremlin, or spend a day exploring the beautiful city of the Golden Ring (Russian province) - Sergiev Posad. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your departure to your next destination.

Lock up your mothers, Baby Gravy (AKA bbno$ and Yung Gravy ) are bringing their combined chaotic horny energy down under this year.

Originally pinned to make their Aussie debut at Splendour In The Grass, the duo will instead whip around the country, breaking hearts along the way, no doubt.

Both bbno$ and Yung Gravy have toured here as individuals, stirring up trouble wherever they went and delivering one of the wildest Like A Version performances we've seen in a hot minute.

Now imagine that energy combined. It's going to be  wild .

After a quick pitstop in New Zealand, the Baby Gravy train will be pulling into Meanjin/Brisbane on July 17. It'll then be heading south to Naarm/Melbourne, back up to Eora/Sydney and west to Boorloo/Perth.

Missy Elliott's 1st-ever headlining tour coming to LA; Busta Rhymes, Ciara, Timbaland to join

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Missy Elliott is about to do something she's never done in her 30-year career: She's heading out on her very first tour as the headliner!

The hip-hop icon, who has sold 40 million records worldwide, will perform in 24 cities this year, and she'll be in good company. Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Timbaland are joining her for this musical ride.

"Out of This World: The Missy Elliott Experience Tour" kicks off July 4 in Vancouver.

The tour will be here at L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena on July 11.

Elliott said, "Fans have been asking me to tour forever but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big!"

Tickets for the "Out of This World: The Missy Elliott Experience Tour" go on sale Friday - but presale event with code starts Wednesday morning.

The Midwest Princess is back. While headlining the Midwest Princess Tour and concluding her opening run on Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘GUTS’ World Tour , Chappell Roan released her latest beautifully crafted single,“Good Luck, Babe!”

Known for her vibrant pop sound and catchy lyrics that touch on themes of love, sex, finding oneself, queerness, and femininity, Roan doesn’t stray far from the glorious sonic excess of her debut album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.” Though Roan posted on her Instagram, “We are entering a new chapter of the project and im exploring it right along with you,” the track feels at home within the rest of her discography.

Starting off with a distinctly ’80s synth beat, the instrumentals of “Good Luck, Babe!” keep with the laser sounds on “Naked In Manhattan” and the pulsing electronic dance beat on “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl.” Despite this, the track’s sound is still distinct, utilizing Roan’s vocals to unite her ’80s inspiration with her unmistakable campy energy. The song’s mid-tempo start doesn’t detract from this effort, instead setting the stage for Roan’s vocals to work alongside the instrumental track and develop a satisfying build-up to the chorus.

Roan starts off reproachful. As she sings. “It’s fine, it’s cool / You can say that we’re nothing but you know the truth,” her contempt is audible just beneath the surface. Moving into the pre-chorus, she picks up the tempo and builds up to the high note at the end of the line— “You only wanna be the one that I call baby” — that sets off the chorus.

For all its simplicity, the chorus is no less gratifying. Singing in falsetto, Roan continues, “You can kiss a hundred boys in bars / shoot another shot, try to stop the feeling” before her own lavish backing vocals join at the end. “Good Luck, Babe!” tells the story of letting go of someone deeply in denial of their sexuality and knowing you’ll be better for it. From the rich verses to the bouncy chorus and fiery bridge, Roan skillfully explores both the pain and the freedom of losing someone who can’t love you like they should, alongside the prideful contempt of telling them “I told you so.”

The craftsmanship in developing this theme is evident throughout the track. The second verse and chorus both feature melancholy strings in the instrumental, emphasizing not only the somber tone of the verse as Roan sings, “And I cry, it’s not fair / I just need a little lovin’ I just need a little air,” but also creating a sense of nostalgia for what could have been.

The abundance of sonic texture doesn’t stop there. As the pre-chorus wanes, Roan’s ethereal yet haunting vocals introduce the spiteful fire of the bridge. She sings, “When you wake up next to him in the middle of the night / with your head in your hands, you’re nothing more than his wife” and shames the subject for not listening to her. Her fiery tone in these lines adds a potency to the lyrics before returning to the chorus — now with the “so” of her “I told you so” from the bridge layered on top, which adds more dimension to the track.

“Good Luck, Babe!” concludes with the repeating refrain, “You’d have to stop the world just to stop the feeling.” As the track inches towards its end, Roan slows her singing while reverb is added and the instrumentals die down. She’s stopping the world of the song, leaving open the question of whether it can really be possible to stop “this feeling.” The outro’s gradual tapering is a fulfilling conclusion to the robust song, inviting endless future listening.

Roan’s newest single is an exciting taste of her future era, building on the unique themes and powerful sound she’s established in her previous album and cementing Roan as part of pop music’s future.

Masters 2024: Why Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns might WD

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Scottie Scheffler is the prohibitive Masters favorite, entering Augusta National with two wins and a runner-up in his last three starts. But those picking Scheffler to don the green jacket a second time should be careful that the big Texan may not be here this weekend, and by choice.

Scheffler’s wife Meredith is pregnant, as the couple is expecting their first child by the end of the month. Also expecting are Sam and Caroline Burns, with their due date in just over a week. The upcoming births have Scottie and Sam keeping one eye towards home, and as the Golf Channel reported Monday night, each man has vowed to withdraw from the tournament should their wives go into labor.

“It’s going to be pretty wild. I don’t think it’s hit either of us quite yet but it’s an exciting time for us as a family,” Scheffler said earlier this year. "It’s been a pretty exciting last seven months or so and we’re looking forward to hopefully getting the baby out of there nice and healthy and with a healthy momma, and then we’ll go from there."

Scheffler won the Masters in 2022 and was T-10 last year. Burns’ best Masters finish is a T-29, although he comes into Augusta ranked 22nd in strokes gained on tour this season. The two are believed to be staying together this week in Augusta.

Scheffler and Burns are far from the first players to compete with expecting wives. Phil Mickelson famously carried a beeper around Pinehurst during the final round of the 1999 U.S. Open should his wife enter labor. Mickelson ultimately came in second to Payne Stewart and Amy Mickelson gave birth the next day.
