Gift Voucher
If you have any questions regarding the purchase or redemption of a gift voucher code then just Contact Me .
If you’ve read About Me and you’ve read the Latest Reviews then you might be thinking that buying one of my walking tours as a gift for somebody is a great idea especially if they are not used to hiring a tour guide because it is going to take their experience of the city to another level . On my site it’s very simple to do that so here’s an explanation for how to buy and how to redeem a Livingpraguetours gift voucher.
OPTION 1: You Want to Buy a Gift Voucher
1) First check the different scheduled tours available i.e. that’s anything with a calendar on the page like the Old Town and Jewish Quarter, City Walking Tour, WW2, Prague Architecture and the Christmas Markets tour. 2) When you’ve decided which one would make a good gift for your friends/relatives then go to the calendar associated with that tour and you’ll see there is a tick-box with the text “I want to buy as a gift (no date)”. 3) Tick the box, the screen will change to show you ticket prices. 4) Select the appropriate number of tickets and it will display the associated value of the gift voucher. 5) If you’re happy then proceed to contact/payment and you’ll receive a gift voucher by email with the tour name and voucher code which you can send to whomever you wish. 6) The gift voucher is valid for ONE YEAR from the date of purchase (365 days). 7) The purchase of a gift voucher does not automatically guarantee places on a tour as that is based on availability so clients should book as far in advance as possible.
OPTION 2: You Want to Redeem a Gift Voucher
1) Firstly, as the voucher recipient, you should check the detail of the tour to which the gift voucher relates. If you agree with the choice you just need to click on the “Redeem a Gift Voucher” button (under the tour calendar on the tour detail page). Clicking that button takes you to a page where you enter the voucher code and click next. You are now taken to the tour associated with the voucher where you can choose the date and time of your tour just like the regular tour booking process. The tickets are pre-selected according to the voucher so you just need to enter your email address and submit the reservation. You’ll receive a confirmation with contact/meeting point details and a reminder 48 hours before the tour. Scheduled tours run Monday to Friday.
2) What about if you would like to use the gift voucher on a different tour which has the same ticket pricing? (the Old Town and Jewish Quarter Tour, WW2 Tour and City Walking Tour are the same price). In that case you should contact me because we have to agree which tour/date/time you would like and to make sure that the required places are available (see point 5 below). As it is already paid for, I will then send you a booking paid confirmation with contact/meeting point details for your chosen tour/date/time and you will receive a reminder 48 hours before the tour.
3) What about if you want to use the gift voucher to discount a more expensive tour like the Prague Architecture Tour or the Christmas Markets Tour or maybe upgrade to a Private Tour? Then it’s the same as above in that you need to contact me to arrange the necessary date/time/requirement (private tours can be any day of the week). I will need to know the voucher code to be used so I can calculate the difference in cost and you can decide if you want to pay the difference online by card or in cash on the day of the tour. That determines the confirmation that you will receive i.e. if you want to pay by card there is a request for payment and the confirmation with contact/meeting point details follows after paying. But if you elect to pay cash on the day then the confirmation is sent immediately with the contact/meeting point details. In either case you will receive a reminder 48 hours before the tour in either case.
4) Please note that the gift voucher is transferrable in that you can give or sell to a third party but the voucher may only be used once .
5) Redeeming a voucher where you are moving your credit to another scheduled tour requires me to send you a manual booking confirmation. The scheduled tours are limited to 6 people but if a moved booking means that there will be 7 people on the tour then your places are guaranteed although the confirmation will show one less place (because the system will see a limit of 6). Don’t worry, you’re all good and this will be agreed by email.
6) These are small group tours that should be booked well in advance. If there are not enough spaces on your chosen tour then I will endeavour to include you even if it means I go to 7 people in the group. I may be able to create another tour or I offer the possibility to move to another tour or you have the option to upgrade to a private tour if you pay the difference but all of these options are subject to availability. You should contact me for options.
7) There is no refund once a gift voucher has been purchased. It’s exactly the same rules as a shop-bought gift voucher i.e. use it or lose it. But as I mentioned earlier you have a whole year to find a way to use it.

How it works
Prague visitor pass.
What you should know:
- The Prague Visitor Pass is valid for 48, 72 or 120 consecutive hours once activated.
- If you purchase the Prague Visitor Pass online, you will receive a redeemable voucher electronically via email. Either print it out or save it on your phone. Present the voucher at one of our pick up points to receive your physical Pass.
- Present your activated Pass at each experience and receive a ticket to the venue. Don't forget to keep your ticket! Each site can be visited only once. Students aged 15 to 25 years (inclusive) must show a valid student ID card.
- The Prague Visitor Pass serves as a ticket for unlimited travel on public transport (excluding trains) during its validity period. It is not valid for use on suburban and commuter buses and trains outside of the city centre. Children up to 15 years of age are eligible for free travel on the public transport network. However, proof of age must be presented if requested by a transport inspector.
- As a free bonus, you will receive an easy-to-read printed map of the city with a complete list of experiences to help you orient yourself in the city. Once you activate a physical Pass, it cannot be exchanged for an electronic e-Pass (and vice versa)
Help and FAQs
1. tickets not received/lost 2. order time limit expiration 3. i can´t print my ticket 4. tickets via post 5. tour cancelled/date changed 6. refunds 7. tours with children 8. discounted tickets 9. additional fees 10. mobile tickets 11. vouchers 12. hotel pickup 13. meeting points 14. i can´t find the meeting point 15. best time to arrive to a tour 16. contact us, 1. tickets not received/lost.
I have not received or I accidentaly deleted the confirmation email with e-Tickets. What should I do?
- First of all, please check your spam folder.
- Please contact us and we will re-send you the e-Tickets.
- Some organizers have 48 hours time limit to confirm an order and tickets are sent via e-mail after their confirmation. This fact is always indicated in the purchase procedure of particular tour. In such a case, you will get your tickets until 48 hrs from the order.
I lost/destroyed/damaged my ticket. What should I do? No problem! Go back to your confirmation e-mail. Here, you can either print your e-Ticket attached to the email, or click on "here" link that will take you to Customer Summary page where you will find the "Print e-Ticket" icon. By clicking on the icon you will have the e-Ticket ready for printing.
2. Order time limit expiration
I booked a ticket but I could not buy it due to order security time limit expiration. What is that? After making a reservation you need to purchase the ticket within 20 minutes, otherwise your reservation expires. Simply go back to the tour, order tickets again and complete the ordering process within 20 minutes. Please have your credit card and personal information ready to facilitate the order process and avoid order time expiration.
3. I can´t print my ticket
I do not manage to print the e-Tickets. What should I do? Please make sure you have the Acrobat Reader or some other printing program installed on your computer. If not, download here for free .
4. Tickets via post
Can I receive my e-Tickets via post? Unfortunately this option is not possible.
5. Tour cancelled/date changed
My tour was cancelled. Will I get my money back? If the organizer cancels the tour, we will send you the full amount paid for the ticket back to the account you used for payment. We understand this must be inconvenient to you and we will send the payment back to your account as soon as possible.
My tour was moved to another day or hour. What should I do? If you are comfortable with the new time of the tout you don’t need to do anything. Your ticket is valid for the new time of the tour. If the new time is inconvenient to you please contact us and we will refund the entrance fee back to your account.
According to the business conditions, we refund the tickets within 30 days from the date when we received the payment back from the organizer. After sending from our account, it can take 3-5 working days for the transaction to be credited to your account. Some credit card companies may have different processing time.
I bought a ticket but cannot go to the tour. Will I get my money back? According to the terms and conditions, the admission fee is not refunded in such a case. However, if you contact us well in advance (more than 48 hours) before the start of the tour, we will discuss with the organizer the possibility of a replacement date or refund of the entrance fee. In some cases, it is necessary to count with a cancellation fee, depending on the time when you notify us. If you inform us later than 48 hours before the start of the event, the organizer will probably not refund even part of the entrance fee. In case that you contact us after the event, the entrance fee cannot be refunded.
7. Tours with children
Some tours are more suitable for small children, some are less. We recommend you to always consider, especially with very small children, the duration of a tour, time needed to get to meeting point and the overall concent of the tour.
8. Discounted tickets
- Senior citizen and student discounts For some events, a senior discount is offered to persons over age 65. Student discount is often provided as well. In case such a discount is offered, it is given with the tickets price (if the discount is not mentioned, it is not provided and only the full price is valid). The promoter reserves the right to request a valid ID, i.e. passport showing client’s right to the discount, or student ID in case of student discount.
- Group discounts In some cases, tour agencies offer group discounts. If this is the case, it is indicated in the programme of a tour on our website. To get discounted tickets for your group, feel free to contact us via Group discounts form.
9. Additional fees
Will I pay any additional fees on the tour? For the tour itself, you do not pay any extra fees and the price on Tours in Prague website is the final price. However, in some cases, the entrance fees to interiors of the monuments are not included in tour price and you will need to pay them directly at the spot. If this is the case, you will find this information in the tour program on our website.
10. Mobile tickets
Is it possible to attend the tour with an e-Ticket displayed on my mobile phone, iphone, tablet, etc.? In some cases it is necessary to come up with a printed ticket, but more and more often the guides accept tickets displayed on mobile phone. You will find a notification that it is possible to come to the tour with a ticket to the mobile phone below the photo of the tour progamme. You will find this information also in your confirmation e-mail with tickets. If this notification is missing, only printed tickets are accepted.
11. Vouchers
Vouchers In case you purchased vouchers, it is necessary to have the printed voucher with you and follow the instructions given on the voucher and either change the voucher for a valid ticket at the box office of the tour promoter.
12. Hotel pickup
Some tour agencies and most of private guides offer pick up from your hotel or other meeting point that you suggest. In such a case, you precise the address of your hotel or any meeting point in Prague you suggest while purchasing tour ticket.
13. Meeting points
Where do I find information about meeting point of my tour?
- Before purchase: Meeting point of a tour is always precised in tour programme on our website. You can find the address of a meeting point as well as its location on the map.
- After purchase: You will find the address of the meeting point in the confirmation e-mail which you get after tickets order. There is also a link "Show on the map" which helps you to see the meeting point location.
- Having ticket already: The address of a meeting point is written on your e-ticket.
14. I can´t find the meeting point
- First of all, check the meeting point address on your ticket and find the meeting point location on the map.
- If you are still uncertain about the location, feel free to call the tour agency or your guide. You will find the phone number on your ticket.
- You may also call our hotline. We will be happy to help.
15. Best time to arrive to a tour
When should I arrive to the tour? It may take a longer time to get to a place in a city you don't know. Therefore, it is better to set off in advance so that you arrive for the tour 15 minutes before the start. Better to be at the spot sooner and admire the beauty of the surroundings than to miss a tour...

Prague Morning
Get ready to explore Prague like never before! The 10th-anniversary edition of the Open House Praha takes place from May 13th to 19th, 2024.
During the week, a variety of exciting events will be held. But the real highlight arrives on the weekend (May 18th & 19th) when over 115 buildings and spaces across the city will open their doors to the public – completely free of charge!
A full list of participating locations can be found on the official website
This year, Open House Praha will pay tribute to several important Czech architects whose anniversaries fall in 2024. Visitors can expect to explore buildings designed by the likes of Josef Fuchs, Oldřich Tyl, Adolf Benš, Josef Fanta, Jan Gillar, and Karel Hubáček.
The festival features over 35 new buildings in the program across 13 districts.
The list includes the former restaurant of the Štvanice Winter Stadium by Josef Fuchs, the Bílá Elementary School and Nursery School, the Fanta Building at the main railway station, the Škoda Works Palace, now the seat of the Prague City Hall, the Neo-Renaissance Old Town Market Hall on Rytířská Street, the palace of the Municipal Insurance Company on Old Town Square and many more.
You can find the full list here .
Tours in English
While tours in most buildings take place only in Czech, there are a number of buildings that offer tours in English.
These include for example the Great Strahov Stadium , one of the biggest stadiums in the world; ARA Palace , a gem of functionalist architecture from 1931 where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views from the terrace; Sokol Gymnasium in Vinohrady , the biggest Sokol gym in the world that went through many hardships in the 20th century; Laichter House , designed by famous Czech architect Jan Kotěra for Jan Laichter, the owner of a publishing house; or the Clubhouse of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic , the seat of the first Czech automobile club with spectacular interiors.
More buildings that offer English tours include for example the Old Town Market Hall, Škoda Works Palace , or Terminal 4 at Václav Havel Airport . English tours take place throughout the weekend at fixed hours.

Arsenal secured their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2010 after a thrilling penalty shootout victory over Porto at the Emirates last month.
After trailing 1-0 from the first leg in Portugal, Arsenal equalised just before half-time through Leandro Trossard. Neither team could find the winning goal during regular time or extra time, leading to a nail-biting penalty shootout.
Thanks to two superb saves by David Raya, it was the Gunners who advanced to the last eight. This marks the first time in 14 years that Arsenal have reached this stage, following a 6-2 aggregate win in the round of 16 - also over Porto - under the guidance of legendary manager Arsene Wenger .

They thrashed the Portuguese side 5-0 in the second leg, with Nicklas Bendtner scoring a hat-trick and Samir Nasri and Emmanuel Eboue also finding the net. But in the quarters, they drew 2-2 at home to Barcelona before losing 4-1 in the away leg and crashed out.
So where are those players from 2010 now? Daily Star Sport takes a look at their current whereabouts.
Do you think Arsenal can go all the way in Europe? Let us know in the comments section
Manuel Almunia
Almunia signed for the Gunners in July 2004 as a backup to Jens Lehmann after Arsenal's unbeaten Premier League season. He was second-choice for his first few years at the club, before claiming the No.1 spot ahead of the 2007/08 season.
Almunia, the Spanish goalkeeper, had a successful seven-year stint at Arsenal, making 175 appearances before moving to West Ham . He later played for Watford before retiring in 2014 due to medical advice.
Fast forward nearly a decade, and Almunia is now coaching at Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi.
Bacary Sagna
Bacary Sagna, after making a name for himself in France, transferred to Arsenal from Auxerre in July 2007. He was a mainstay in the Gunners' line-up for several seasons, racking up over 250 appearances before heading to Manchester City .
However, his time at the Etihad was short-lived, lasting only three years.
Sagna then had stints at Benevento and Montreal Impact before retiring and venturing into a completely different field. He invested £220,000 of his own money into French backpack firm Gravipack and is now associated with the company that sells 'weightless rucksacks' for £200.
Thomas Vermaelen
Thomas Vermaelen moved to Arsenal from Ajax in June 2009 but was plagued by injuries during his tenure at the Emirates. He managed just 150 appearances in five years before transferring to Barcelona .
Vermaelen continued playing until 2022, with further spells at Roma and Vissel Kobe.
Post-retirement, Vermaelen joined Roberto Martinez's coaching team for the Belgium national squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup . Unfortunately, the tournament was a disaster for the Red Devils, who were knocked out in the group stage without winning a single match.
Martinez was swiftly shown the door and has since taken up the reins as Portugal's new manager. Meanwhile, Vermaelen is on tenterhooks for his next coaching opportunity.
Sol Campbell
Sol Campbell made a return to the Gunners in January 2010 after parting ways with Notts County.
His second stint in north London was brief, lasting just six months during which he made 14 appearances before heading off to Newcastle. The former England defender hung up his boots in 2011, a year after leaving the club.
Post-retirement, Campbell tried his hand at politics, vying for the Conservative Party nomination for Mayor of London in 2016 but failed to make the cut. He then ventured into football management, taking the helm at Macclesfield in 2018 and Southend in the subsequent season.
Gael Clichy
A product of Cannes' youth system, Gael Clichy made the move to Arsenal in 2003 and was part of the legendary Invincibles squad in his debut season. Initially serving as Ashley Cole's understudy, he eventually secured his spot in Wenger's starting line-up.
In the 2007/08 season, he played in every Premier League match. After clocking up 264 appearances for Arsenal, Clichy transferred to City in the summer of 2011. The Frenchman enjoyed a trophy-laden six-year spell at the Etihad before signing with Istanbul Basaksehir.
After a brief period at Servette, he called time on his career and has since transitioned into coaching.
He's now serving as assistant to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry for the France Under 21s. Clichy also took on punditry duties for Sky Sports during their coverage of Arsenal's 3-1 victory over Liverpool last month.
Samir Nasri
Starting his career at Marseille, Samir Nasri made the move to Arsenal in 2008 and enjoyed three successful years there - netting 15 goals in his final season at the Emirates.
However, his decision to switch to City in 2011 left many Gunners fans feeling betrayed, a sentiment he has been unable to shake off since.
After bagging two Premier League titles during his six-year stint at City, Nasri had spells with Sevilla, Antalyaspor and West Ham before hanging up his boots at Anderlecht in 2020.
Nasri has kept a relatively low profile in recent years but found himself confronted by an irate Arsenal fan after attending their 1-0 triumph over City in October.
A beacon in Arsenal's midfield for six years, Alex Song transferred to Barcelona in 2012. He later confessed that his exit from the Gunners was motivated by the lucrative deal on offer, despite struggling for game time at Barca.
In fact, the midfielder only spent two years at Camp Nou before being loaned out to West Ham.
Song, who later played for Rubin Kazan and Sion, only officially announced his retirement last year after spending the final three years of his playing career at Djibouti. Song has since become a property developer in Cameroon.
The last Frenchman in the starting line-up, Abou Diaby could have achieved so much more if not for his unfortunate injury record.
He made 180 appearances over nine years for Arsenal before retiring in 2019 after a spell at Marseille.
Since hanging up his boots, he has established the Abou Diaby Foundation and is keen to make it successful. The project aims to combat poverty in Africa and Asia by providing job opportunities.
Tomas Rosicky
A fan favourite in North London, Tomas Rosicky spent 10 years at Arsenal, making 247 appearances, netting 28 goals, and clinching the FA Cup twice.
He returned to his roots at Sparta Prague for the final year of his playing career - where he remains today.
Initially, Rosicky started as an assistant to sporting director Zdenek Scasny, before stepping into that role in December 2018 when Scasny became head coach. Sparta are currently leading the league by four points and will face Liverpool in the Europa League last 16 second-leg on Thursday.
Andrey Arshavin
Arshavin began his career at Zenit Saint Petersburg, making over 300 appearances for his childhood club before joining Arsenal in 2008.
His time at the Emirates was marked by some unforgettable moments - none more so than his four-goal haul in a 4-4 draw against Liverpool in April 2009.
After his stint with Arsenal, Arshavin made a return to Zenit before finally moving to Kairat in Kazakhstan. He hung up his boots in 2018 and vowed to stand by Russia in their conflict with Ukraine if drafted.
Nicklas Bendtner
Bendtner, a striker known for his sporadic moments of brilliance, is best remembered for his hat-trick against Porto.
After loan spells at Juventus and Sunderland, the Danish player sealed a permanent move to Wolfsburg following the end of his contract, having netted 45 goals in 171 appearances for Arsenal.
However, Bendtner's career has been on a downward trajectory since then. He had stints at Nottingham Forest, Rosenborg and Copenhagen before retiring in 2019, and now hosts a Danish TV show where he plays pranks on celebrities and the general public.
