Travel + Leisure / Brian Kopinski

After living out of a suitcase for a year, I learned two things: rolling your clothes is definitively the superior packing method, and wrinkle-resistant clothing is a must for frequent flyers. After all, who wants to waste precious time ironing their clothes when they’ve just touched down in a shiny new city? Stylish, low-maintenance clothes that you can shake out of your suitcase and throw on without looking like a wrinkled mess are essential — and pro tip, rolling them will further help to avoid any unwanted creases.

We’ve researched the best wrinkle-free materials to help you look your best on every occasion, from cozy and breathable cashmere to soft and stretchy modal. Here, we’ve curated a list of clothing that’s versatile enough for all sorts of trips, focusing on pieces that are easy to pack, comfortable enough to wear all day, and crucially, that won’t crease every time you sit down. Read on for our favorite wrinkle-resistant clothing picks.

Best Button-down

Untuckit stretch cotton bella shirt.

In addition to being wrinkle-resistant, this fabric blend is also soft and stretchy, and features Perfect Placement Buttons to ensure there are no gaps.

This runs slim, so size up if you prefer a roomier fit.

A classic button down is a must-have for travelers, as it’s one of the most versatile pieces you can pack. Wear it with your favorite jeans, dress it up with a chic blazer, or layer it over a swimsuit by the pool — the options are endless.

We love the tailored design of this button down from UntuckIt, which, as the name suggests, is designed to be worn untucked. It’s part of the brand’s wrinkle-free line, which is crafted from a super-soft cotton and polyester blend. The fabric also boasts a bit of elastane, which creates the perfect amount of stretch and ensures the shirt moves comfortably with you. We love the Perfect Placement Buttons, which are spaced just so to ensure that even those with larger busts won’t have to deal with any pesky gaps. There’s a range of eight colors and striped patterns to choose from — given the quality and the price point, you might even want to spring for one in a lighter shade and another in a darker neutral.

The Details: Cotton, polyester, elastane | 2XS to 2XL

Best Long-sleeve Shirt

Vuori scoop tee.

Flattering and figure-hugging, this super soft knit is made from wrinkle-resistant and moisture-wicking modal.

While designed to hit at the waist, this will fit semi-cropped for those with longer torsos.

Made from the softest, stretchiest knit, this fitted long-sleeve shirt is ideal for lounging, layering, and everything in between. The modal blend is both wrinkle-resistant and moisture-wicking, so you can wear it without worrying about overheating or getting sweaty. That makes it a perfect layer for transitional weather, as it’s lightweight enough to wear on its own or under a chunky sweater when the temperature dips.

Play off its versatility by dressing it up with high-waisted pants and boots, or opt for a more relaxed look with cozy joggers. We love that the figure-hugging fit prevents it from riding up — but if you prefer a roomier fit, consider sizing up.

The Details: Modal rayon, elastane | 2XS to 2XL

Best T-shirt

Alo yoga all day short sleeve.

This classic tee is breathable, ultra-cozy, and won’t crease in your suitcase thanks to the stretchy modal fabric.

This bestseller goes fast — if you see it in a size or color you like, grab it while you can!

Everyone knows a basic T-shirt is a travel essential, and this one is a bestseller for good reason. It checks all our boxes: buttery soft, breathable, wrinkle-resistant, and moisture-wicking. We love that it doesn’t cling or ride up, and that it works with everything else in our suitcase all year round.

Wear it with jeans and sneakers for a day of sightseeing, a mini skirt and boots for a night out, or even with leggings for a dance class. It’s an ultra-versatile pick that you’ll wear again and again, which makes the affordable price tag even more attractive. Our only gripe is that it sells out so quickly.

The Details: Modal jersey  | XS to L

Best Blazer

Athleta avenue blazer.

Smooth and stretchy, this streamlined blazer boasts built-in sun protection, an internal stash pocket, and abrasion-resistant fabric. It’s also available in a wide range of sizes.

The sleeves run long and there’s a branded Athleta logo on the back, which not everyone will love.

Blazers are a quick and easy way to elevate any outfit — as long as they’re crisp and crease-free, that is. Enter: this wrinkle-resistant option from Athleta, which is made from a nylon and Lycra blend that releases wrinkles immediately and is perfect for packing in your carry on. It feels like loungewear but looks ultra-polished, boasting the ideal blend of structure and stretch.

It features external pockets as well as a hidden internal pocket — a huge plus for travelers, who can safely store their wallet and other small essentials close to their body while sightseeing abroad. The material is abrasion-resistant, machine washable, and rated UPF 50+ for excellent sun protection. This blazer is a traveler’s dream, if you don’t mind the small white Athleta logo printed on the back.

The Details: Nylon, Lycra | 2XS to 3XL

Best Blouse

Ninety percent iphis top.

Ninety Percent

Ruched detailing disguises any creases on this elegantly tailored top.

The material is ultra-thin and somewhat sheer — you may want to layer it with shapewear for a bit more coverage and a smoother silhouette.

There’s so much to love about Ninety Percent, which donates 90 percent of its profits to those who make the collection happen and five charities every year. The website is a treasure trove of elevated wardrobe staples that are ideal for travel — you can search for your perfect pieces using their fabric filters, which make it a breeze to find pieces made from Tencel lyocell, micromodal, and other travel-friendly materials.

This beautiful, slightly sheer long-sleeve top is made from micromodal, which is supremely lightweight, breathable, and inherently moisture-wicking. The ruched detailing is chic and helps to disguise any creases, making this a perfectly packable piece to pair with boyfriend jeans or a skirt. Better yet, it’s even machine washable for easy care.

The Details: Micromodal | 2XS to 2XL

M.M. LaFleur The Maaza Dress

M.M. LaFleur

Two discreet front pockets make it easy to keep your travel essentials close at hand.

It’s a bit of a splurge, but the high-quality material is designed to last.

This ultra-versatile shift dress from M.M. LaFleur is the key to an effortless one-and-done look that’s ready to take you from day to night. Layer it with a blazer and tights for an office-ready look, then slip into your favorite heeled boots and add a pair of statement earrings for a sultry date night outfit. We love that the brand’s proprietary Origamitech material is machine washable and won’t wrinkle or crease when you sit down.

Two deep front pockets are what truly make this cap sleeve dress stand out, as they’re perfect for keeping your passport and boarding pass at hand when going through the airport, or just for storing your small essentials throughout the day. For the full look, check out the matching suit jacket as well.

The Details: Polyester, polyurethane | XS to 3XL

Vuori Villa Wideleg Pant

Soft and swishy, these feel like pajamas but are versatile enough to dress up.

These are designed to sweep the ground or be worn with a heel — petite people may need to get them hemmed.

These might just be the perfect travel pants. Made from an incredibly lightweight blend of recycled polyester and elastane, they’re breathable and boast four-way stretch that allow you full freedom of movement. Like all good travel pants, they’re equipped with two front pockets that provide ample space for your phone and other small belongings.

Their relaxed fit is easy to dress up or down, whether you’re lounging at home, hopping on a longhaul flight, or pairing them with heels for a night out. We’re obsessed with the wrinkle-free silky material and soft elastic waistband, which doesn’t slip down or dig into skin.

The Details: Recycled polyester, polyester, elastane | XS to XL

Best Shorts

Wayre flow shorts.

These lightweight shorts boast deep pockets with zippered closures to keep your belongings safe on the go.

They can bunch slightly around the inner thigh.

Travelers, be warned: you’re going to want to stock up on these flowy shorts in all seven shades, and likely spring for the matching tops, too. Wayre’s products are all designed with frequent flyers in mind — these shorts are super stretchy, hyper-lightweight, and made of a silky soft, wrinkle-resistant, and stain-resistant fabric that’s easy to pack.

They’re incredibly low-maintenance, with built-in anti-odor protection that allows you to rewear them several times before tossing them in the wash. Two hip pockets feature zippered closures to protect your essentials, and there’s even a hidden internal passport compartment. We love that they also boast a UPF 30 rating for sun protection.

The Details: Cotton, nylon | 2XS to 3XL

Everlane Mini Skirt

It’s comfy enough to sit down in for hours — the fabric has just the right amount of stretch and the elastic waistband never digs.

There aren’t any pockets.

If you’re looking to show a little leg, Everlane’s high-waisted mini skirt is a chic and mega-comfortable option. The material is substantial yet lightweight and breathable, made from a luxuriously soft cotton-modal blend that’s naturally wrinkle-resistant.

Beyond its versatility, this skirt earned our pick for its elastic waistband and slight stretch, which make it comfy enough to wear from day to night and won’t inhibit you from digging in at dinner. While we wish there were pockets, we also appreciate the seamless silhouette, which flairs out into a slight A-line and pairs easily with all sorts of fitted tops or chunky oversized sweaters.

The Details: Cotton, modal, elastane | 2XS to XL

Best Sweater

Quince turtleneck sweater.

Cashmere is naturally wrinkle-resistant and breathable — plus, Quince sources theirs sustainably and affordably.

If you prefer the oversized look, consider sizing up.

This sumptuously soft cashmere sweater from Quince is a dreamy piece to carry you through the shoulder seasons — it’s warm enough to wear on its own for those first fall and spring days, yet lightweight enough to layer under a jacket in winter. It’s crafted from sustainably-sourced 12-gauge Mongolian cashmere, which is designed to stand the test of time and instantly releases wrinkles when you unfold it from your suitcase. While a neutral color is always a smart pick for versatility’s sake, there’s a whole rainbow of shades to choose from, with classics like brown and moss, or pops of color like a bright reddish-orange.

The Details: Mongolian cashmere | XS to XL

Best Tank-top

Everlane the cozy stretch tank.

It’s an elevated basic that feels as soft as your favorite sweatpants, but looks elegant enough to wear out to dinner.

It needs to be hand washed — but sparingly, as wool has natural anti-odor properties.

We’re obsessed with this versatile tank top, which is cozy enough to lounge in yet sleek and stylish enough to wear both day and night. The scoop neck and low scoop back add a sexy touch to this body-skimming tank, which hits right at the waist.

It’s made from a blend of responsibly sourced wool, recycled nylon, and a hint of spandex for extra freedom of movement. The high-quality wool fibers are naturally odor-resistant, so even though this needs to be hand washed, you can get away with wearing it quite a few times between washes. The material also releases wrinkles and helps to regulate your body temperature, so you’ll never get too hot or too cold.

The Details: Wool, recycled nylon, spandex | 2XS to XL

Best Joggers

Aday perfect walk jogger.

The wide elastic waistband is soft and figure-flattering.

The material is thick and cozy, making these better suited to cooler weather.

For a fresh take on the perfect pair of joggers, we love these super-soft ones from traveler-approved brand Aday. While slim-fit, elastic-hemmed joggers abound, this pair features a uniquely relaxed fit, a wide and supportive waistband, and a straight leg that’s ultra-flattering.

The retro-inspired snap-up sides allow for even more flexibility and plenty of air flow. These are better for cooler days, as the material is substantial and cozy — yet still lightweight enough to pack down easily. Those on the go will appreciate the variety of pockets, including a cheeky back pocket, two deep front pockets, and an interior slip pocket for your phone. Best of all, they’re crafted from Tencel lyocell, which is naturally wrinkle-resistant and breathable.

The Details: Tencel lyocell, organic cotton | XS to XL

Best Jacket

Free people pullover jacket.

This stylish pullover folds up into its own pocket, which can be used as a compact travel pillow.

For the perfect oversized look, you may want to size down — it runs large.

This packable pullover is one of our absolute favorite travel finds. For starters, it squishes down into its own pouch, which comes in handy as a plush little pillow on long transit days. It’s also water-resistant and comes with a generous hood, which you can secure with several buttons for added coverage.

Two front pockets allow you to store your phone and other small belongings within easy reach. While we love the oversized look, this does run large, so you may want to size down to avoid drowning in it. We love how the soft polyamide fabric releases wrinkles easily, and that the quilted design further disguises any creases.

The Details: Polyamide | XS to XL

Tips for Buying Wrinkle-resistant Clothing

Choose the right materials.

There are plenty of wrinkle-resistant fabrics out there, so it’s important to consider what seasons and occasions you’ll be dressing for. Wool and cashmere are great options for cooler climates, as they’re naturally wrinkle-resistant and breathable to boot — plus, they boast built-in odor resistance, which means you can get several wears out of them between washes. For warmer weather, look to plant-based fabrics like Tencel lyocell, which are soft and lightweight enough to wear on their own or to layer in shoulder seasons.

Consider packability

All of the picks on this list were chosen in part because of how well they pack down without wrinkling up. Fabrics that are lightweight yet thermoregulating, like cashmere or wool, are more versatile options for travelers than bulky layers that take up gratuitous space in your suitcase. While we stand by these picks, it’s always a good idea to do a test run by packing your items ahead of your trip to double check that they’re truly wrinkle-resistant.

While there’s endless debate over the superior method to pack a suitcase, those who prefer rolling their clothes rather than folding them have the upper hand when it comes to keeping their items wrinkle-free. Rolling helps to significantly reduce any creases or wrinkles, whereas folding tends to create them. To maximize packing space and take the stress out of getting dressed while you’re away, pre-plan your outfits for the trip and roll them up together.

For machine washable pieces, wash them cold and hang them to dry. This helps to extend the product’s lifespan, as it minimizes potential shrinking from heat damage — plus, it’s more sustainable. As always, it’s important to check the care instructions on any garment first.

While investing in wrinkle-resistant clothing will help to drastically cut down on time spent pressing or fussing over your clothes, sometimes you may need a little extra TLC to keep your pieces looking polished. To that end, consider tucking a portable travel steamer in your suitcase, so you can skip the hassle of fumbling with the hotel ironing board and start enjoying your vacation as soon as possible.

Why Trust Travel + Leisure

For this story, T+L contributor Sophie Dodd researched the best wrinkle-resistant fabrics before turning to brands trusted by travelers and editors to find versatile pieces for every occasion and budget. She narrowed down this list by choosing low-maintenance pieces that are fashionable, comfortable, easily packable, and that release wrinkles easily. She also relied on her expertise as a frequent flyer to pick pieces that would be suitable for a variety of destinations.

How to Choose The Best Plus Size Knitted Sweater

Are you looking for a new plus size knitted sweater? Then you might want to make some serious considerations. You see, not all knitted sweaters are created equal. Some may be handcrafted with extra care, while others are machine knitted and, oftentimes, lack good quality control.

To make your life easier, below we’ve prepared three important tips on choosing a plus size knitted sweater. Hopefully, this quick guide can help you find the sweater you’re looking for. Without further ado, let’s get started!

First and foremost, look for a plus size knitted sweater with a good fabric. It’s supposed to feel great on your skin. Therefore, look for something like cotton, polyester, or rayon. Besides being soft, these fabrics tend to be less itchy and provide better breathability.

Your plus size knitted sweater is supposed to go well with many different outfits. It should be able to be worn on a variety of different occasions. Our pro tip: go with a classic v-neck sweater or a cardigan for the perfect layering.

Another important part of a plus size knitted sweater is the collar. For example, not everyone is comfortable wearing a low-cut sweater. On the other hand, some people think turtlenecks are cumbersome and suffocating. The key is to find what you like and start making buying decisions.

I Cracked the Code to the Perfect Travel Outfit

knit-sets-for-travel-266412-1621628034872-main

The elusive "perfect travel outfit"—it's something we've discussed, debated, and broken down quite a bit before. What does an effortless yet polished and, above all else, comfy travel outfit really look like, and why does it seem nearly impossible to accomplish ? Non-stretch high-rise jeans are out of the question, no matter how long you're in transit. On the other hand, it's this writer's opinion that wearing straight-up leggings isn't the most stylish option. Though, I'll admit it may be the comfiest.

After countless flights and thousands of miles flown, I think I've finally found the answer to the travel-outfit conundrum: knit sets . The matching sweater-and-pants sets just might be the stylish solution to all those times you wore  sweatpants but ended up feeling less than put-together upon arrival. With so many fun, colorful sets to choose from right now, there's no reason not to feel ultra-comfy when you're traveling. (They make pretty great loungewear , too.) We love them styled with simple white sneakers and a few dainty jewelry staples. From rainbow stripes to cheery colors and clean neutrals, shop the coolest knit sets below.

35 Best Women's Loungewear Sets to Pack on Your Next Trip

By Madison Flager and Paris Wilson

35 Best Women's Loungewear Sets to Pack on Your Next Trip

All products featured on Condé Nast Traveler are independently selected by our editors. However, when you buy something through our retail links, we may earn an affiliate commission.

Some may argue that traveling by plane is an occasion to dress up, but for most of us at Traveler, comfort is the main priority when planning a transit day ensemble: You want something loose enough that you won't need to readjust (or worse, unbutton) a few hours into a flight or road trip, but put-together enough to feel that you've made a switch out of pajamas and into a true outfit. Luckily, there is no shortage of loungewear sets these days.

Read on for 35 of the best loungewear sets to add to your travel wardrobe , many of which are sitting in our editors' dresser drawers. From upscale sweatsuits to cozy cashmere knits, they'll keep you comfy whether you're sitting on a plane, train, or in the passenger seat, and will get a re-wear on lazy vacation days when the only item on your to-do list is lounging around the Airbnb .

This article has been updated with new information since its original publish date. Additional reporting by Meaghan Kenny.

The Aerie LumberJane collection has been one of the brand's more popular releases. The collection features breathable, lightweight waffle fabric in shirts, shorts, and now polos. The LumberJane polo and short set are perfect for lazy vacation days spent shuffling around in your slippers . Each piece has raw seams along the sleeves, sides, and back that gives it a more lived-in look.

Buck Mason is at the forefront of elevated essentials. The Vintage Interloop set features an oversized crew that has a relaxed fit all around and thinly ribbed stiching on the cuffs to give more structure to the slouchy sleeves. The French terry sweatpants are slimming and so comfortable. Each set looks slightly different than the other, thanks to Buck Mason's Venice Wash technique that creates its cool, vintage look.

We're always raving about Girlfriend Collective, a size-inclusive, sustainably- and ethically-made brand. This set is made from half recycled, half organic cotton. They're available in your classic neutral colors, as well as this rich wine hue.

plus size travel knit clothing

Kim Kardashian's shapewear and loungewear brand Skims never misses when it comes to cozy sets. The Cotton Fleece collection is a more sporty take on classic loungewear. The soft fleece shorts have an interior drawstring at the waist for a more customizable fit.

Image may contain: Clothing, Long Sleeve, Sleeve, Fleece, Knitwear, Sweater, and Sweatshirt

This chic pullover and sweat shorts both don the recognizable Alexander Wang logo. While the set is one of the trendiest pieces on our list, you'll be pleasantly surprised at just how soft the heavy brushed cotton terry is. Style the set with a small crossbody bag and pair of chunky dad sneakers for quick errands or walks around the city.

Image may contain: Clothing, Pants, Home Decor, Linen, Adult, Person, Accessories, Jewelry, Necklace, and Pajamas

You can never go wrong with a simple high-waisted pant and tank top combo. The Anrabess sleeveless set is lightweight and thin, making it supremely packable in any weekender bag or carry-on. At just $30, it is one of the most affordable loungewear sets on our list.

Image may contain: Clothing, Pants, Adult, Person, Dress, Formal Wear, and Fashion

Is there anything easier than throwing on a jumpsuit? Spanx AirEssentials jumpsuit is one of the brand's bestsellers—and it's just been restocked in more colors. We love the drawstring tie at the waist that gives the jumpsuit a more fitted and flattering look.

Traveler 's commerce producer, Paris Wilson , swears by Roots' loungewear. “I've been raving about Roots for years. It's hard to find a brand that doesn't skimp on quality,” she says. The Luxe Crew and Pintuck pant are made from a cotton and cashmere blend. While the material gives it a more chic look, the fit of the set is more relaxed and loose. This can easily be dressed up or down, and would look great with a sleek pair of white sneakers .

Image may contain: Clothing, Long Sleeve, Sleeve, Adult, Person, Shorts, Knitwear, Sweater, and Sweatshirt

The loose fit of the Ramona sweatshirt compliments the brand's drawstring waist Jane shorts. The rouched terry fabric on the inside of each garment keeps you warm and cozy without overheating. As warmer days approach, the yellow dip-dye design is a must-have for your spring and summer wardrobe .

If you're looking for a more polished look, the Malibu set is for you. The set is made up of the Frank & Eileen Audrey Capelet and the Catherine Sweatpant . Each piece is made from 100 percent cotton triple fleece, making it incredibly soft. It's the perfect set for a long road trip or a chilly plane.

Image may contain: Clothing, Shorts, Tank Top, and Vest

The Cool Stretch collection from Pact is made from breathable organic cotton. The soft, thin layers are a go-to summer fit when temperatures are high and you just want to chill inside. The tank top and shorts set comes in seven colorways and can be paired with Pact's Airplane cardigan or a cozy hoodie .

If you prefer something a little more roomy, the Oversized Tee and Harem Pant set from This is J is for you. It’s perfect for long-haul flights and road trips where comfort is at the top of your list, but you don’t want to step out in your pajamas. The soft, moisture-wicking fabric will keep you dry and comfortable whether you’re snuggled up on a train or plane.

plus size travel knit clothing

This set is made for cold weather. The thick fabric will keep you warm and toasty whether you’re hanging inside with friends or out sightseeing. The top has a dropped shoulder sleeve that looks more oversized while the pants feature a wide-leg with a drawstring waist.. The set comes in 10 solid colors that are easy to pair with a slip-on sneaker or Ugg boots .

plus size travel knit clothing

The soft ribbed knit of the Muse hoodie and sweatpant offers a lot of dimension to the duo. The set is lightweight enough that it can be worn over workout clothes without any bulkiness. The high-waisted joggers pair well with the cropped hoodie and offer a more chic silhouette.

plus size travel knit clothing

You’ll be comfortable from head to toe with this ultra-soft pullover and pant set. The pants have a classic ‘70s wide-leg silhouette accompanied by an elastic waistband, while the pullover has a polo-inspired collar and a slightly cropped hem. An all-white set never goes out of style and will look great with a white sneaker .

plus size travel knit clothing

The name tells you everything you need to know. The Coziest Cashmere Blend hoodie and jogger are ultra-soft. The fabric is warm yet breathable and the fact that it’s a blend gives you peace of mind that it won’t be ruined in the washing machine.

plus size travel knit clothing

Traveler editors swear by Lunya's washable silk pajamas and cashmere Travel Set . The brand’s Silksweats complete its holy trinity of comfort. With a sherpa interior and thermoregulating abilities, you'll be comfortable without overheating in this set. Bonus: Both pieces are reversible so you can have two looks for one.

plus size travel knit clothing

There's something to be said for a zip-up sweatshirt, even if they've largely been replaced by pullovers of late. For one, if your temperature flips from chilly to warm, you can regulate without bothering your seatmate while trying to take off your hoodie. We're a fan of the sweatpants, too: the deep pockets, cuffed ankles, and cashmere fabric are all plusses.

plus size travel knit clothing

A new addition to OV's ultra-soft, lightweight, and durable CloudKnit line-up : this boxy T-shirt with a slightly cropped fit. It comes in charcoal, navy, mocha, fog white, and jasmine blue, all of which will match your go-to black leggings or joggers .

plus size travel knit clothing

Awarded one of Oprah's Favorite Things in 2020, I was eager to put on Cozy Earth's ultra-soft joggers, and am happy to report they lived up to the hype. Made of a mix of premium viscose from bamboo, acrylic, and spandex, they're smooth and cool to the touch, and have a loose but not baggy fit. I've worn them a ton on WFH days, and would happily fly in them. Snag a matching pullover if you like the matching set look.

San Francisco–based Quince launched a maternity collection, which includes a nursing-friendly long sleeve and lounge joggers with an adjustable drawstring waistband. All of the collection's pieces are made with renewable materials like Tencel lyocell, a biodegradable fiber made from wood pulp; mulberry silk, a hypoallergenic and thermoregulating fabric; the company's SuperSoft fabric, a blend of recycled polyester and tencel; and sustainably- and humanely-sourced Mongolian cashmere.

Outdoor Voices’ All Day hoodie and sweatpants set really is made to wear from dusk to dawn. It aims to be the softest pair of sweats you will ever wear, and stacks up, with a CloudKnit fabric that feels as cozy as your most worn-in pair of pajamas. The sweatpants are high-rise and more fitted toward the bottom to give the most flattering look possible, too. The pieces can be bought individually and come in six different colors, from neutral charcoal to a rich Kalamata purple.

Image may contain: Suit, Coat, Clothing, Overcoat, Apparel, Standing, Human, and Person

While former Traveler editor Jessica Puckett's favorite cashmere set has since sold out, Cuyana's Pima outfit is another great option for plane travel and lounging, particularly in warmer environments, as the material is soft, smooth, and breathable.

Image may contain: Clothing, Sleeve, Apparel, Long Sleeve, Shorts, Human, and Person

Former Traveler editor Corina Quinn turned us on to Vuori's DreamKnit Collection hoodie and jogger set. “The DreamKnit feels like a cloud—it's so soft and cozy, yet lightweight, so you don't get too hot or too cool in them,” she says. “On top of that, because there are a few different models of jogger pants and tops, my friends and I have all found a model that's flattering for us.” For a pair of sweats that make you feel like you’re wearing a real outfit without actually doing so, Vuori’s unbelievably soft, stretchy sets are an easy pick.

Image may contain: Clothing, Apparel, Pants, Khaki, Home Decor, and Linen

Friend + Folk is a size- and gender-inclusive brand that prioritizes a limited carbon footprint, and puts it into practice by way of free carbon neutral shipping, recyclable and plastic-free packaging, limited batch-production, and more. The Joon joggers are a favorite—the fit is roomy and comfortable yet still tailored, and the zippered pockets are ideal for stashing AirPods, lip balm, and other odds and ends without worrying they'll fall out as you dash through the airport. Pair them with the Perry pullover and you've got a new airport uniform.

Image may contain: Clothing, Sleeve, Apparel, Long Sleeve, Human, and Person

Lululemon may be best known for its leggings and workout wear, but don't skip over the brand's loungewear. This set is made out of a smooth Softstreme material that is stretchy and feels smooth against your skin. It's a great loungewear set to wear if you run hot.

plus size travel knit clothing

We love this Madewell number, made of a fleece-like Superbrushed terry fabric. Wide legs and a loose fit make it just the kind of thing we want to wear on long travel days, and the patch pockets are much appreciated. Since it does have tank top-style straps, bring a cardigan or other added layer for the plane.

plus size travel knit clothing

Some loungewear is better suited for inside wear, like this cozy ribbed shorts set. Wear the pullover, with its bell sleeves and slit in the back, over leggings for long-haul flights. The stretchy shorts have a fairly short inseam, so they'll likely be more comfortable as a sleeping short or loungewear piece to change into when you arrive at your hotel or rental house.

Image may contain: Clothing, Suit, Overcoat, Apparel, Coat, Human, and Person

This two-piece set might be the closest thing to sleepwear on this list, and yet is still cute enough to feel confident while wearing through the airport. It comes in a dozen colors, from basic heather gray to bold indigo blue, and pairs slouchy, relaxed fit pants with a scoop-neck button-up henley.

Image may contain: Clothing, Sleeve, Apparel, Long Sleeve, Human, Person, Standing, and Pants

Sure, all sweatpants are designed to be comfortable, but the cotton, modal, and spandex fabric Knix uses takes things up a notch. The smooth, cooling, and slightly stretchy fabric feels fantastic against skin and looks a bit more put-together than typical sweatpant material.

Image may contain: Clothing, Apparel, Dress, Human, Person, and Pants

Most loungewear tends to follow the same cut, so we appreciate Monos, a luggage brand , shaking things up when delving into clothing. This set is as soft as any sweatpants out there, with a mid-length wide-leg pant and a short sleeve V-neck tee that's just slightly cropped.

Image may contain: Clothing, Apparel, and Pants

Anything labeled Signaturesoft nails both the rest day and flying-comfortably mood we're going for. The top and bottom have a streamlined shape and the sweatpants are tapered at the ankle. Both pieces are made of a comfortable rayon, acrylic, and spandex mix, so you’ll feel cozy while still looking put together. The sweatshirt and sweatpants can be purchased individually and come in nearly a dozen colors should you want to mix and match, and the sweatshirt passes the video-conferencing-chic test, in that it looks more like a standard sweater than workout wear.

Image may contain: Clothing, Apparel, Pajamas, Human, and Person

Not a hoodie person? You might like this cowl-neck top, which comes with cropped pants, both made of a super soft jersey and spandex fabric. Shop the set in gray, sky blue, strawberry, or buttercream, and wear it on your next overnight flight to feel like you're in pajamas.

Image may contain: Clothing, Apparel, Footwear, Shoe, Human, Person, Suit, Coat, Overcoat, Sleeve, and Long Sleeve

You may never want to put on pajamas again after wearing Softwear's Lounge Set. The fabric is buttery soft inside and out. Both the pullover and joggers are tailored and fitted with a clean silhouette—the top could pass for a normal sweater—while still being ultra soft. Plus, it’s long-lasting: The sustainable fabric is pilling-resistant and made to keep its shape after every wear.

plus size travel knit clothing

Made for pregnant or nursing moms, this Everly Grey set is designed to fit a baby bump and make nursing easier with side openings on the top. Made of stretchy fabric with cuffed ankles and wrists and pockets on the hips, it's a loose, ever-so-slightly tailored look you'll wear again and again. Order it in one of four neutral colors: black, charcoal, oyster pink, or denim blue.

Plus size travel clothes for women

There are so few reviews of plus-size women’s clothes I thought I would share my experiences.

On my most recent international trip, I had the opportunity to wear these clothes and thought they worked well on the trip.

I have been using these brands for a few years and have traveled domestically, for which they worked fine. But things are always a bit different when I go abroad.

Universal Standard clothing. Their liquid jersey tops, knit skirts, and underwear are great for travel. These were amazing. They wrinkle easily, but when I hang them up overnight, most of the wrinkles fall out. The underwear is comfortable and dries quickly. They carry sizes 00-40. The clothes are expensive, so I typically wait for a sale. https://www.universalstandard.com

Snag tights. I discovered them a few years ago, and they are the best tights I have ever worn. They have a range of thicknesses, as well as wool tights for the winter. I have worn their leggings/tights in summer and winter. I like to wear leggings for summer travel because my skin is easily irritated, and it is a way of protecting my legs. https://snagtights.us

The company has started to expand to include knit skirts, which I also wore on the trip and was very happy with. I wear leggings in the summer and tights in the winter. They held up well walking all day. They also have a wide range of sizes, similar to the US above. (They also have bras & underwear, but I have not tried them.) The price is a deal, as I have not found this quality at this price. One caveat, they are located in Scotland, so the order has to go through customs. I recommend keeping the cost of the order under $150; otherwise, there are weird customs issues in the US.

Evelyn & Bobbie bras. These don’t have quite the upper-size range of the other two shops, but their bras are well made, and if one removes the pads (which is easy to do), they wash and dry easily. They are a bit pricey, but I think they are worth it. https://evelynbobbie.com

I'm not familiar with Universal Standard. Have you tried their Tee Rex? I like that it is a cotton/modal blend. My workhorse tees from Land's End are that fabric combo but they've gone away from the modal tees (which dry quickly) to 100% cotton which do not dry overnight. My current travel tees are years old and I am afraid they do not have many more trips in them!

I usually wear the Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans at home and for travel. I can order the plus sizes from Costco and they are way less than store prices. The last trip I did to Italy I took the 32 degree knit pull on pants from Costco. They are very inexpensive so are good for a couple of trips and then start to pill.

For the Fall trip I also splashed out and got the LLBean Vista camp capris as I knew it might be hot and they are lightweight. I liked the fit (runs small) and that they dried well but when I got back home and washed them in the machine I realized they had pilled in the crotch. I'm not spending $80 for pants where the fabric doesn't hold up. OK with spending $12.99 or whatever and it pills. NOT OK with $80!

Thanks for your links!

Underwear - Fruit of the Loom microfiber. Lightweight and dries quickly. Comfortable like cotton.

Bras - just take my normal ones, nothing "travel special" about them.

Shirts - Lands End Supima cotton polos. Lighter weight than the mesh polos. Not sure how long one would take to air-dry.

Socks - a synthetic blend from Target. They usually air dry overnight.

Pants - still looking for a quick-dry alternative to cotton blend pants and jeans. And I want pants. Not capris, not leggings, not ankle pants, not joggers. And deep pockets would be great. Why don't they make women's pants with deep pockets like men's???

Hat - expecting a "packable" sun hat from Duluth Trading this week.

Thanks for the links.

Shirts, pants, and underwear and bras: Ex Officio. Even better if the pants are in sale.

I do like the US Tee Rex shirt. It fits well. They have a promotion where you can get a free shirt (well, pay for shipping only) if you want to try it out (but for everything else, wait for the sales).

Unfortunately, none of the mentioned brands are really plus-sized, particularly in pants. I have moved to these brands to make it easier to find comfortable, stylish plus sizes.

I like Alder pants--they come in plus sizes. (Alderapparel.com) Alder is a small company so sadly few sales. I have not tried the skirt, dress, fleece or Ts. But the pants wear well and do not need to be laundered often. I have not sink washed them yet but believe that they would dry quickly. I also like Duluth's NoGA pants which also wear well and do not need to be laundered often. Have only noticed pilling on the NoGA pants that have been worn and washed for many years so those have been relegated to wearing only at home now. I do have a newer pair ready to go into rotation. I wear either Duluth undies which dry quickly or Merino Country wool undies which also dry quickly. Do not wear bras often as they hurt my scars from breast cancer so I usually skip those (sorry for the TMI) so I cannot really help with those.

I’ve not tried Alder. There is a brick and mortar Duluth Trading Post just across the state line from me but I’ve never stopped there. I keep saying I’m going to!

Mariam, all the brands I’ve listed come in plus sizes. I saw the offer for the free Tee Rex so maybe I’ll try them.

I also forgot Coolibar UPF clothing which has extended sizes into the Plus range. I got a hooded zip front jacket on sale recently from them although it’s too lightweight to wear right now. The initial wash and dry was fine. Seems generously sized. I will probably order some SS tees from them when their spring colors come out.

I like Columbia shirts, PFG. They have a slightly tailored look, wash easily, dry quickly, and have a hidden zipper side pocket. https://www.columbia.com/c/shirts/?prefv1=Women%27s&prefn1=genderGroup&cgid=shirts&pos=9

The T-Rex is a good shirt. I have two black and 1 grey that I wear all the time. Woolx makes true plus size Merino clothes (not just a 16 or 18-- I'm looking at you Smartwool). I'm a size 20-22 so get frustrated when clothing companies advertise their plus sized lines and then the sizes go up to a 16 or 18. I have a midweight merino long sleeve shirt and a lightweight merino t shirt from them. I also just bought a lightweight merino hoodie that is going to be perfect for layering on an upcoming trip to Portugal. I am wearing Duluth Flexpedition bootcut pants in navy as I type this. Wore them on a trip to Ireland last spring where I got soaked on the top of Dun Aonghasa, but the wind was so strong that they were dry by the time we got back down from the fort. Just ordered a pair in black for my next trip. My Ex Officio undies will last probably another trip or two, but might replace them with the other options listed above.

Try Chico’s; sizing is a little difficult to get used to…. The Zenergy label and Travelers label offer some durable, different weighted coordinated outfits. I’ve found that I sometimes need to buy 2 sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit. The Neema style under Zenergy has very quick dry, light clothes, minimal wrinkling even when hand washed, perfect for carry on travelers. The entire outfits can be a little pricey, but not much higher than mentioned. They do go on sale so keep an eye on the website or app.

Thanks for starting this thread, Mariam! It's always good to find out about other companies trying to meet the needs of plus-size travelers.

I am currently in the 16/18 range, but have worn larger sizes in the past. I am also on the tall side, which adds another issue. I see that Universal Standard doesn't note lengths, and appear to be on the short side, so probably not for me.

My favorite travel tee is from landsEnd: https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-34-sleeve-supima-cotton-crewneck-tunic/id_335921?attributes=21576,44967 I know others avoid all cotton, but I don't travel in hot weather, or sink wash, so they work for me.

JJill, LL Bean, and Eddie Bauer usually work for me, too.

I usually order the Men's Lands End Polos in Tall. I like that the length covers my backside. Just wish they had more colors.

Woman Within offers cotton T-shirts in tunic length too. Several neck opening options and lots of colors. I'll have to check out Lands End's supima tunic t-shirts.

One issue with cotton is dark colors bleeding in the wash. If you are doing machine washing for more than 1 person, you can probably make a full load of lights and another of darks however often. But with just 1, the entire suitcase probably takes only a small load, so separating lights and darks for $X per load is something to consider. I have 2 pairs of jeans that bleed heavily in the wash even after 3-4 years. Even in the first wash I did with them with other darks, they bled into the others. Luckily the others didn't stay "bled into". I washed them again with a "color-catcher" sheet and they were fine. I'm going to have to test the real effectiveness of the "color-catcher" sheets with a white cotton something and the "bloody" jeans.

Universal Standard pants seem to run long. And they have tall versions of their pants. If you check out the details, they give exact specs for each item of clothing. So you should be able to find out the inseam for the pants you are interested in. Also, they show you realistic models of what many of the clothes look like.

Woman Within offers cotton T-shirts in tunic length too.
I have purchased their clothes, and they work and come in a wide range of sizes, but the quality is so poor. I am always frustrated.

This brings up another question. Has anyone ever seen a skort with full leggings instead of shorts under the skirt? During the summer, I really need coverage of leggings to keep the sun off my legs.

You can buy stretchy leggings or armsleeves that you can pull on or off anytime. I use the arm sleeves so as not to get too much sun when I exercise outside. I also brought them with me in Spain to pull on with my t-shirt when the weather got cool. You can find them on Amazon.

Yes, this seems to be an issue lately. Not so much in the past.

They used to offer their standard elastic waist pants in corduroy, but then they started making them for folks with VERY wide waists and VERY narrow legs >> An Apple on toothpicks. I couldn't sit in them because the legs were so tight and the waist was at least 10-inches too big. Haven't ordered them in several years.

I always try on every item and check all the seams, pockets, etc. Just because the blue one fits doesn't mean the red one will. And the seams may be fine in the purple, but not the pink. Not just WW, but every brand.

They also don't bother matching the stripes/plaid in seams. This is a personal pet-peeve. Even high-end brands don't bother matching the pattern at the seams! Just tacky.

@funpig…I use sun sleeves all summer. I like the ones from Outdoor Research which will stay up. Coolibar also has them as well as shorter sun gloves which I wear when driving. There is a company called Farmers Defense that has wonderful prints for sunsleeves but I have not ordered any so not sure of the fit or quality. But, wow, are they cute!

Mariam, Thanks for posting about Universal Standard Clothing. I’ll have to check out their website.

Has anyone ever seen a skort with full leggings instead of shorts under the skirt?

In Australia, you can buy these from modest clothing stores aimed at the Islamic market.

I just put a skirt on over my leggings. Makes washing easier as I just wash the leggings after every wear while the skirt gets worn multiple times before washing.

While style, fashion and taste are subjective, I've noticed that there's more options available now for larger-sized women.

One brand that stands-out is The North Face , they've got quite a bit in both outerwear and sportswear, which much can be translated into travel usage.

All of my clothes are black or dark colors, so I fixed that problem! :)

I just wanted to thank you for this post! I used to buy travel clothing from Travelsmith, but they no longer carry plus sizes. Grrrr.

Any chance you know of anybody that sells petite plus swim suits? I’m rather short waisted but busty. In standard plus size swim suits, if I buy to fit my top, my bottom is quite baggy. LandsEnd used to carry them, but when I chatted with customer service, they tried to tell me they’d never carried them. Grrrr, again.

Heading to Portugal in a few months and needing to buy some things. Thanks for your recommendations!

I buy my swimsuits from swimsuitsforall.com. They are part of the women within group. They fit, but be warned, they are low quality. I buy them because they are one of the few that carry the "racer-back" style in my size. Overall I find they fit well. They just don't last much beyond a season.

I hope that helps!

I almost forgot another favorite site: https://www.ullapopken.com/en Nice quality and they ship amazingly fast. I get stuff shipped from Germany faster than any US company.

Any chance you know of anybody that sells petite plus swim suits? I’m rather short waisted but busty.

I am short waisted and bottom heavy so if it fits in the bottom it's way too big in the top. I buy separates - crop top and swim bottoms - in different sizes. I know lots of people who do this.

Dry on the Fly pants from Duluth Trading are quick drying, just like the name claims😀. I have some that are long, full length pants that can also roll to capri length if desired. Good pockets too. In fact all of the pants I’ve ever gotten from Duluth have nice deep pockets, including their jeans. I think it’s one of their selling points. They do have plus sizes, as previously mentioned.

Plus size here! I love Universal Standard, but like you said, they can be pricey. I am a minimalist, so I wear basic's in neutral colors, which can be hard to find in plus size. My go to store is Old Navy, I can always find basic layering pieces and usually order online. I like to try out new brands my purchasing at the thrift store first to see if I like the fit, recently discovered Banana Republic jeans this way, they fit great! Amazon has also been great to find good quality clothing, especially skirts. I see more brands expanding to plus size, usually just online which works with a good return policy.

Wearever or Pure Jill by J Jill. The Wearever pants are especially good for packing and travel. Limited colors (black, navy). Come in plus sizes. Pat

Wondering what to wear in spring or autumn when the weather’s still cold but occasionally sunny? Dresses are a great option for this time of year. Take a look at the merino wool dress that almost made me overpack for Paris – I love it! I also share some other ideas for dresses that could make it into your cold-weather wardrobe!

Dresses can easily be layered with tights, scarves, and jackets for cold days and worn alone when warm. Find out more here.

Merino Wool Dress

When I went to Paris and London in 2015, I ever-so-carefully selected my 7 Piece Capsule Wardrobe. I felt so absolutely accomplished!

Can you believe it? Just 7 pieces for one week! I finally moved on from my Essentials Packing List and downsized to the  Minimalista Packing List , despite a forecast of rain and a chilly 55°F average.

What I Packed:

Additional, non-capsule pieces included: 2 outerwear, 1 pair of Ibex thermals , and 1 sleepwear set.

This doesn’t seem like much, does it? I even packed it all into my 30L daypack for a total of 4kg (9 lbs).

So how did I manage to overpack ?

Keep reading to find out what wonderful item pleasantly turned my minimalist packing list into an overpacking experience!

The answer : THE MANSFIELD MERINO WOOL DRESS BY IBEX Here is a similar dress from Wool&

When I first saw the dress, I liked the idea of it. It had long sleeves, a classic shape, it was available in black, and it had a round neckline that covered me where I wanted to be covered without choking me.

In addition to being a basic travel wardrobe piece, my biggest selling point was that it is 100% Merino wool. This makes it ideal for travel in cold weather, plus it has the ability to be worn repeatedly without washing.

But I never expected to fall in love with it so much that I would wear it four times in one week! And in London AND Paris!

Originally I HAD planned to wear it twice: on my travel day to London and on my travel day back from Paris. This would have allowed me to pack only three tops and one more dress for the other five days.

When I first tried it on, it seemed to drown me in my 5’2″ stature, so I had it hemmed to 3 inches above my knee. This made a much more flattering and wearable fit.

Tights |  Motorcycle Boots |  Scarf |  Leather Jacket

I paired it with black tights, black motorcycle boots, a black scarf, and a maroon leather jacket. As I walked from the train to the Tube and through London I couldn’t help but notice a certain bounce in my step. Was it the fact that I was wearing my favorite ten-year-old boots? A snug, rocking leather jacket? That I packed super light for my one week trip?

And then I realized it: No. It was the dress. It just made me feel good. It was comfortable, classic, and with the new hem–even sexy; modest, paired with tights, of course.

I can’t explain it, but I found myself seated in Heathrow waiting for my friend to arrive and falling more in love with the dress. At that moment I envisioned myself wearing it for our free New Europe city tour in Paris and maybe even to the Eiffel Tower two days later.

Whether you’re looking for something in autumn, spring, or a mix-weather trip – a merino wool dress like this one is a great choice!

A merino dress not only became my favorite during that trip but many readers have been also asking for more “ dress me weather ” ideas since this type of item allows you to still wear a dress without feeling super cold.

I am looking for a short sleeve/tank wool crew neck dress for europe trip this september. any suggestions?

Alex

Hi Susan, you might find a dress that would work for you here: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/best-t-shirt-dress/

Have the most amazing time on your travels!

Alissa

Is it too late to comment? Can anyone recommend a brand of merino wool dress that is sleeveless? I want to throw it over tights and long sleeve tops everyday.

Hi Alissa, thank you for your question! Take a look at this TFG post for some suggestions: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/merino-wool-dress/ . Hope it helps! 🙂

Dinie

Wooland.com has a few of those.

Lauran

Wooland has several sleeveless dresses. Kalle is my absolute favorite— can look casual or super professional. There are also several others that are well loved!

Rachel

Great outfit! Did you have any static issues with the tights and wool dress?

alex

Actually, I think I did initially but haven’t had any issues any more 🙂

Jenn Martin

I have a similar cashmere/cotton stretch maxi dress that I LOVE for traveling. It’s made by majestic filaments.

Sounds perfect!

Katherine

Thx for the recommendation. I love quality essentials especially anything linen or cashmere.

Lacey

Once again, Alex, you solve my travel wardrobe conundrums!! I would wear dresses and tunics everyday if I could, but anything made of the “technical” fabrics suitable for travel are … Not my style. I tried a 100% bamboo cotton dress- nope, wrinkle city I tried a “technical cashmere” tunic….none of the insulating or wicking properties I’d hope for from a wool.

So, given your glowing recommendation, I can assume that this dress covers those bases?

Natalie A. Bennett

I would love see a review or list of non-wool clothing for travel. I can’t wear wool due to allergies; oh it makes finding quality warm and transitional clothes hard. I’d wear that dress in a heartbeat, if it wasn’t wool; plus I wouldn’t have to hem it I’m 5’8” (finding a real Maxi dress is my challenge, can’t un-hem it)

alex

Thanks for the suggestion Natalie!

I’d go with fleece? I love fleece, and it still insulates when wet, and dries super quickly!

Tania

It looks great on you! I love the neckline and the sleeves on this one. A merino wool dress is on my wish list for travel to PNW in October and it’s so hard to find one that is simple, flattering on an hourglass and with a proper fit for a petite 5’1″. I’m so happy that you shared that this one was able to be altered. When I’ve purchased from Ibex before their tanks were a little small on me but I assumed that is because they were meant to be fitted base layers (I ordered my normal jersey size) so that is the only debate, what size to order (I’m narrow shouldered but busty so sizing is always a challenge, order up and the shoulders aren’t right). I also like Athleta styles and they carry petites but they only do merino wool occasionally (never been a style that grabbed me) and I’d really like a merino wool style in a less sporty option.

Travel Fashion Girl

Thanks for the comment Tania! Glad that you found this post helpful! I always say to go a size bigger to be on the safe side! Safe travels!

Anita

I tried Icebreaker merino cardigan and tops , it made me itch so bad that I couldn’t last for more then a few minutes in it. Wool makes me itch horribly so imagine my hope that maybe merino wool is ok , but nope. I itch just as bad. I wish I can rock this dress too.

I’m sorry to hear that Anita 🙁 Clearly wool isn’t for you

Theresa Crow

While I do not have any merino wool dresses, I wear merino wool skirts year round–even in the summer in middle Tennessee. I was 97 degrees here yesterday in downtown Nashville and I had on a merino wool skirt. I plan to take two on vacation with me when I vacation in Panama City Beach later this summer. Because the merino wool regulates your body temperature no matter whether it is summer or winter, you can wear the light-weight merino year round–and I do. I have many Ibex and Icebreaker products, and I love them all.

I totally agree Theresa 🙂 Merino Wool is great for different climates and I love it too!

Natasha Stephenson

This is an awesome dress! I love the other merino wool clothes I have, so I know this would be worn a lot! Thanks for the tip!

You’re welcome Natasha 🙂 Glad you like it!

Danielle

I haven’t tried out this brand, but that Juliet dress is gorgeous. I’ve got a Christmas trip to Europe coming up later this year and I might have to try it out!

I love it! Enjoy your trip to Europe and your new dress too!

Anne

I’ve worn icebreaker dresses- love merino wool- but never ibex. I think I’ll have to find that dress!

Go for it Anne! It’s fantastic!

So tempting for our Ireland trip!

What are the tights that you are wearing? I always have trouble finding the right pair..

Hey they are a pair from H&M 🙂

shanna

Thanks for posting this dress! i love wool and ibex…this will be perfect for my next trip!

Thanks Shanna, hope you like it as much as I do 🙂

Stanley

You look so great with your outfit. So shocked knowing you’ve encountered an overpacking experience with just 7 pieces of clothes. I believe that the type of cloth is thick enough. Anyways, if you won’t mind me asking, what brand of travel bag you are using?

Hi Stanley! On this trip I took my TimBuk2 laptop bag but I usually travel with Osprey or Delsey luggage.

Linda

Love this dress! I think I would “overpack” to make sure I have it with me too!!!

It’s pretty awesome 🙂

In recent years, however, the tides have turned and we've seen an abundance of body-positive plus-size brands emerge. "Quality has gotten an upgrade too, from more trend-forward styles to better fabric technology to A-list designer collabs," Kosich adds.

<p>As with any online purchase, Ramhold points out that reading through customer reviews can be a huge help when determining whether an investment is worth the money. Unfortunately, while both have a similar average rating, a lack of responses on the Sam's Club item makes it more challenging to reach a conclusion in this case.</p><p>"Given the price point of nearly $3,000, it's not unreasonable to expect more from the Anthropologie piece. And even though there are fewer, the only complaints about the Sam's Club piece seem to be related to units that were damaged in transit, not outright defective," she says. "With the uncertainty, though, it seems that Sam's Club is definitely the wiser choice here—if you can find it."</p><p>Ultimately, Wollersheim agrees that even though the limited reviews make it difficult to decide, the number of "overwhelmingly positive" reviews might make it easier to justify the higher ticket item—especially thanks to available white glove delivery.</p><p>"While you may save money upfront, you may not get as many years of use out of it as you would with the more expensive but more well-made piece from Anthropologie," she says. "Overall, these two pieces provide the same benefits of form and function. It all depends on your budget and how long you want to live with the piece in your home."</p><p>Read the original article on <em><a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" href="https://bestlifeonline.com/sams-club-sells-anthropologie-cabinet-dupe/">Best Life</a></em>.</p>

Tijerina says Anthropologie is "the absolute best retailer for trendier plus-size clothes."

"They officially launched their plus-size collection in 2019 . It was an exciting day for all of us plus-size babes who—like me—had been shopping the oversized pieces for years," she shares. "But, to be honest, Anthro's initial launch was pretty disappointing. The clothing wasn't as cool as the straight-size offerings, there were limited pieces, and they were only available online."

"Fast-forward four years and much has improved," she continues. "The clothes are cooler, the brands Anthro carries are much more vast, and it has worked to do a better job of showing what the clothes actually look like on people with bigger bodies."
