GODSMACK's SHANNON LARKIN On 'Vibez Tour': 'It's The Coolest Thing We've Done In Many Years'

GODSMACK drummer Shannon Larkin recently spoke to SWOMP about the band's recently launched "Vibez Tour" . The trek sees frontman Sully Erna and his bandmates deliver a series of intimate evenings featuring acoustic/electric performances and untold stories in theatres across North America. The second leg of the tour will kick off April 9 in Valley Center, California.

Shannon said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET ): "The 'Vibez Tour' is my favorite one yet. It's the coolest thing, because it's a completely… After doing eight months on the road last year playing the same set, 'cause on the big shows… Growing up, we all liked our bands to try and play as much like the record as possible. And we famously don't use tracks or any kind of backing, click tracks and all that shit. So, playing last year, I pretty much played the same thing every night all year. So, to come out and do this 'Vibez Tour' , which is a completely different set list, And we're playing in smaller venues after beating up the country last year — we played A, B and C markets — so we knew this year, if we wanted to go play, we would have to do something different and do it in small venues. We did this one other time in 2004 when we put out 'The Other Side' , which was an EP, an acoustic EP. And so this tour, 'Vibez' , is kind of based on that premise of lava lamps and mushrooms, a cool, mellow trippy vibe. But this time we implemented some cover songs in there that we all grew up and were influenced by — some [ LED ] ZEPPELIN , some PINK FLOYD , BEATLES and stuff like that. And it's not a fully acoustic show either. It's electric guitars and all, but there's no aggressive songs. There's fun songs — don't get me wrong, it's a fun show and it has energy, but it's not aggressive rock metal, like GODSMACK is known for. And so for me, that, alone with being in the smaller venues, 'cause being the drummer, you're so far from the crowd anyway, and that's kind of the payoff, is performing live. You get that energy from the crowd, and being the drummer, especially at these big festivals, there's 60-by-40-foot decks, I'm probably 50 feet from the front row even, where in these theaters, I can see every face. And so I urge everybody to come out and check it out. It's the coolest thing, I think, we've done in many years."

Elaborating on the intimate nature of the shows on the "Vibez Tour" and how different they are from playing huge rock festivals, Shannon said: "We added a couple musicians for this, on keyboards and on guitar. And so it even is a different band, really. We still throw in a couple of the big hits and stuff. But, like I said, it's been my favorite thing yet because of being a drummer.

"You talk about 200,000 people [at some of the festivals]," he continued. "Yeah, there is a big wall of energy that I feel back there, but there's no personal intimacy with even the front row. 'Cause, again, I'm 50 feet from even the front row. Well, we're playing these 2000 theaters, and I can literally look up in the balcony and see people mouthing the words to a song or just smiling or crying or in it with me."

In a recent interview with Houston Life , Sully stated about the "Vibez Tour" : "We actually haven't done this kind of a show since 2004. When we were touring with METALLICA , as that tour ended, we went out and we did an acoustic tour, just kind of stripped it down. And it went over really well and people really enjoyed it.

"It's a nice kind of event to even take your family to — your moms, your dads," he continued. "If you're a kid or a teenager or in your 20s or 30s, and you happen to like GODSMACK for the big, powerful rock shows that we usually do, then this is kind of the other side of that. This is the actual, the more intimate, sexy side, we can say, of the band versus the big angry 'grrr' [side]. This is something you can come to, take your parents or whoever you want, a date or your wife or whatever, have a nice glass of wine and watch a really cool musical performance, hear some cool stories, and just kind of take the journey with us. That's what we wanna do on this tour, is really create a way to take the audience on a journey, a musical journey."

Erna previously talked about the "Vibez Tour" last December during an appearance on "The Mistress Carrie Podcast" . Asked what the trek is all about, Sully said: "Well, the 'Vibez Tour' , it's almost kind of like a break from the big-show touring. We went out all last year and we worked a lot and it was the big show — it was the show that we did in the arenas and the amphitheaters. And when we go out with the big show, as people know, we have this big double-drum battle we do, there's moving lighting and pyro and it's just a big arena show like we grew up on when we were kids. It's the kind of show I always wanted to put out there for the people. But as we get older, the body needs to heal. But we didn't wanna take a break from when we wrapped up at the end of October until summer hits again, when they open up amphitheaters and we start doing these big festival shows or whatever again. There's just too much of a gap there. We wanna be loyal to our crew, so we wanna keep them working. And we also wanna kind of stay tuned up, but to try to do those kind of shows in the winter, it just doesn't make sense. So we wanted to come back to what we did back in — it was like '03, '04, right around the time we were doing the METALLICA thing. And we did an acoustic tour in theaters."

He continued: "People have asked us about when we would ever do that again for so long now — almost 20 years it's been since we did that. So we decided, like, why not do a couple of quick runs, keep us tuned up, play some of the other stuff that we don't get to play on the big show? 'Cause the big show fires up and you wanna hit people and make it the big rock songs, but there's so many cool songs that we also enjoy playing from our catalog that we don't ever get to do 'cause we don't have time. So that this 'Vibez Tour' is gonna be exactly that — we're gonna set a vibe in the theater. Incense candles. We're gonna bring in some of the old memorabilia from other tours, like the gargoyles that we had on the 'Awake' tour and the brass sun that we used on the 'Faceless' tour. And we're gonna try to decorate the stage with all these elements and hopefully take people through the history of the band, so it becomes really cool vibey songs with some storytelling behind it that helps educate the new generation that's been turned on to the band, and just give people a different experience of what else, the other side of what we do as a band."

Erna added: "So it won't be fully acoustic — there's gonna be electric performances as well — but it's gonna be a blend of all that: piano songs, acoustic songs, electric songs. We're gonna mix in some really cool vibey covers. I don't wanna give those away because we haven't done 'em yet, for one, practiced them, so we wanna make sure that we can pull the ones we wanna do off. But I can tell you that it will fit in that same vibe of what we're doing with the 'Voodoo' s and the 'Serenity' s and the 'Spiral' s, and even some of the stuff on the new record, like 'Growing Old' and 'Truth' and 'Under Your Scars' and all that stuff. So we wanna just create like a really cool night of music and storytelling."

When GODSMACK last embarked on "An Evening With" tour 20 years ago, the stripped down acoustic-based performance was aimed at showing the group in a different light and offering it the opportunity to play its music with different arrangements. The show featured the GODSMACK members performing while seated on stools, a la "MTV Unplugged" , and included some creative staging and lighting, dim candles and a few spooky props, Times Leader reported at the time.

GODSMACK 's eighth studio album, "Lighting Up The Sky" was released in February 2023 via BMG . The LP was co-produced by Erna and Andrew "Mudrock" Murdock ( AVENGED SEVENFOLD , ALICE COOPER ).

The first single from "Lighting Up The Sky" , "Surrender" , which arrived in September 2022, marked the first release from GODSMACK in four years, following their globally acclaimed and gold-certified 2018 album "When Legends Rise" , which earned the Erna -fronted outfit a No. 1 spot across U.S. Hard Rock, Rock, and Alternative album charts.

GODSMACK “Vibez Tour” Won’t Be Only Acoustic: “There’s Gonna Be Electric Performances As Well”

vibes tour

Godsmack is trading arenas for more intimate vibes on their upcoming “Vibez Tour.” After a grueling year of big-show spectacles, frontman Sully Erna and his bandmates will take a change of pace in a series of acoustic/electric performances and untold stories in theatres across North America.

“The  ‘Vibez Tour’ , it’s almost kind of like a break from the big-show touring. We went out all last year and we worked a lot and it was the big show — it was the show that we did in the arenas and the amphitheaters. GODSMACK ANNOUNCES VIBES TOUR

vibes tour

November 30, 2023 by M.B. Edwards

Godsmack fans can stop “cryin’ like a bitch” now that the 2024 vibez tour has been announced., special guest bastian da cruz will accompany this four-time platinum selling rock metal band across the united states and in parts of canada..

vibes tour

Well, some of you might still cry a little bit since they are doing “Something Different” and foregoing most of their normal concert shenanigans.

While they will still be doing some electric performances during the concert, we’re told it won’t be laden with mountainous eruptions of flames from the pyrotechnic cannons or the extreme rock and metal stage party that leaves you breathless. nah, it’s time for a change or “whatever.”.

vibes tour

It’s time for Godsmack to get rid of the heavy distortion along with all the bells and whistles (that many claim make a noteworthy concert experience) behind and aspire for something more meaningful.

It’s time for the rawness and vulnerability that only an acoustic performance can bring. one where godsmack can share untold stories in a more personable manner and provide an experience where their voices and musical talents are amplified by the emotion and intensity of their lyrics..

vibes tour

There are few people, and even less bands, who can captivate and enthrall a large crowd in this manner. Godsmack is one of these bands and the Vibez Tour does just that.

This tour will allow front-man sully erna, lead guitarist tony rombola, bassist robbie merrill, and drummer shannon larkin to perform in a more intimate setting where they can connect, and expose pieces of their souls, with each fan while giving their post-grunge, metal music a unique perspective and leaving you wanting more..

The first leg of the Vibez Tour kicks off in February and runs through May 5th. The City of Angels will host Godsmack and Bastian Da Cruz at the YouTube Theater on April 10th. With over 35 cities listed, they are sure to be in an area near you. Oh, and if you are in the Scottsdale area on April 6th, don’t miss a chance to see a full electric set by Godsmack during Arizona Bike Week.

Pre-sale tickets are available this week with general ticket sales starting on friday at 10 a.m. local time. this will be the perfect stocking stuffer for the godsmack fan in your life; heck, buy one for yourself too..

  • Dates & Prices

This short Moscow tour will give you a true taste of the history, culture and incomparable urban vibe that define one of the world’s largest metropolises. In just three days, this Moscow itinerary takes in all the most iconic sights of this attraction-packed destination. After two and half days getting acquainted with the city, we’ve set time aside for you to explore Moscow your way and discover your own favourite hang-outs in a city overflowing with hidden treasures

3-Day Moscow Tour Highlights:

  • Panoramic Tour of Moscow: See Moscow beyond the postcard images on a private excursion by car through the city streets including a drive along the banks of the Moskva River. Visit the famous Bolshoi Theatre, pass by Gorky Park and the Novodevichy Convent, and admire the city from on high at the Sparrow Hill observation platform.
  • Moscow Historical City Centre Guided Walking Tour : Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of one of the world’s biggest metropolises and discover local haunts on foot, including the Red Square, the Kremlin and the multi-coloured domes of St Basil’s Cathedral.
  • Armory Chamber tour: Explore the endless treasures of this unique museum, displaying the wealth accumulated by Russian rulers from the 12th century until the October Revolution of 1917. Walking through the exhibition halls is a journey through the centuries.
  • Moscow Metro Tour : Go deep underground on a subway tour of the famous Moscow metro. The world’s deepest metro system is renowned for its palatial, art-adorned stations, complete with marble columns and chandeliers.

On your first day, you’ll be treated to a panoramic, drive-by tour of Moscow to get a feel for the immense scale of one of the world’s most rapidly developing urban centres. The city’s history unfolds in real-time as you pass lavish imperial mansions, solemn Soviet structures and luxurious modern shopping centres.

Day two kicks off exploring Moscow’s historic centre on foot, followed by a tour of the Kremlin, the seat of Russian power and political intrigue for centuries. Stand in the Red Square, surrounded by the stunning architecture as you hear stories of the people and events behind many of Moscow’s most iconic landmarks.

On your final day, we’ll head beneath the city for a tour of the Moscow Metro and its famously ornate underground stations. Art lovers should hit up one of Moscow’s many world-class galleries such as the Tretyakov State Gallery, the Pushkin Museum or Garage, Moscow’s cutting-edge contemporary art museum. History fans can follow a Soviet trail through the city including Stalin’s Bunker, while those seeking a more indulgent experience can browse trendy neighbourhoods like Kitay Gorod or shop for everything from fashion to kitsch souvenirs at the enchanting Izmaylovo Flea Market. Foodies can head to one of the countless speciality stores sampling vodka, caviar and chocolate.

If you only have a few days to spend in Moscow, this tour will ensure you make the most of your time in the city. Let the experts navigate you through this complex and occasionally overwhelming capital, giving you plenty of time to soak up the city’s most unmissable attractions.

Russia Moscow Tour

Day 1 Panoramic city tour

Welcome to the glorious capital of Russia, Moscow! You’ll be met by your driver at the airport and taken to your centrally located hotel.

After check-in and rest, meet your private guide at the hotel lobby for a comprehensive tour of Moscow by car. Visit the starkly contrasting Theatre Square to see the stunning Bolshoi Theatre, pass Tverskaya Street, the city’s main boulevard and home to the landmark Yeleseyevskiy Grocery Store.

You’ll enjoy a panoramic drive along the Moskva River, where a huge, controversial state of Peter the Great was erected. Pass by the legendary Gorky Park and the White House before a stop at the architecturally stunning Novodevichy Convent, and the observation platform at Sparrow Hills, for a bird’s eye view over this staggering megalopolis.

Day 2 Red Square and Kremlin

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the historical city centre. Stroll through the Red Square, the hub of cultural life in Moscow, with its elaborate ‘stone flower’ fountain and fantasy-like St Basil’s Cathedral – a postcard-perfect symbol of the nation. Admire the grandiose façade of GUM, the city’s most luxurious shopping centre, and visit Alexander’s Garden, with its eternal flame and the chance to watch a changing of the guards.

Break for lunch before continuing on a tour of the Kremlin and Armoury Chamber, famous of its collection of tsarist fashion, with regalia such as jewel-encrusted crowns, orbs and sceptres as well as arms and armour, exotic gifts from the leaders of faraway lands, and an illustrious case of Imperial Faberge eggs.

As an option* spend an evening on a sumptuous dinner cruise, taking in the stunning sights and city lights of this mesmerising metropolis by night.

Day 3 Metro and Arbat Street

Start a day with a tour of Metro, stopping on the way to marvel at some of the most elaborately decorated stations of the world-famous Moscow subway system. Take a stroll along Old Arbat street - the most famous street in Moscow. Through the centuries Arbat used to be one of the most bohemian places in Moscow. Today Arbat is a promenade full of small cozy cafes and street life.

The afternoon is free for you to either enjoy the rest of the day on your own or choose among optional excursions to explore more of Moscow. Visit the Tretyakov Gallery or Pushkin State Museum to admire Russian art. Join locals for a stroll at the Gorky or VDNH park.

Visit beautiful Kolomeskoye Estate or Izmailovo Kremlin, or spend a day exploring the beautiful city of the Golden Ring (Russian province) - Sergiev Posad. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your departure to your next destination.

Zendaya serves major Wimbledon vibes with her 'Challengers' press tour outfits

Zendaya 's wardrobe for the Challengers press tour is nothing short of a grand slam, serving up an ace with fashion ensembles that channel the classic vibe of Wimbledon and the historic racquet sport.

The Euphoria star’s looks resonate with the spirit of iconic tournaments through a masterful play of tennis greens, the chartreuse yellow evocative of tennis balls, and crisp Wimbledon whites. Her carefully curated wardrobe, courtesy of stylist Law Roach, not only accentuates her role in her tennis-themed film but also demonstrate the timeless appeal of the preppy aesthetic.

As summer approaches, signalling a return to tennis season, the release of Zendaya's new film is poised to significantly influence fashion trends. The effect is expected to do for tennis what Margot Robbie did for Barbiecore . Her titular role in the live-action Barbie film caused a global surge in the demand for pink outfits and it was reported that Google searches for 'Barbiecore' increased in interest by 335% worldwide.

The anticipation surrounding Challengers has sparked a notable surge in interest for tennis-inspired outfits, evidenced by a 75% increase in searches for 'tennis outfit' over the past three months on Pinterest. Specific items such as 'black tennis skirt outfits' have seen a twofold increase in searches, while 'tennis skirt outfits' and 'V neck sweaters' have also enjoyed significant upticks in popularity, by 50% and 90% respectively.

This burgeoning trend extends beyond just tennis, as evidenced by Pinterest's annual trends report. Searches for badminton-related fashion have climbed by 2.5 times over the last three months, aligning with their 'Make a Racket' trend prediction that encompasses both tennis and badminton influences in fashion. Jenna Waller, Head of Fashion at Pinterest UK, notes that racket sports are gaining traction both on the court and on the silver screen saying “From tennis skirts and sweater vests to trainers and polo tops, the classic looks offer a preppy uniform for all occasions.”

Adding another layer to the tennis-fashion crossover, tennis legend Serena Williams has recently launched Wyn Beauty , a tennis-inspired beauty range designed with the active individual in mind. Branded as "Makeup you can move in," Wyn Beauty caters to those seeking beauty products that complement an active lifestyle. Neatly wrapped in optic-yellow ‘chartreuse’ tennis ball coloured packaging.

So far each appearance by Zendaya has been a showcase of fashion that not only pays tribute to the world of tennis but also pushes the boundaries of traditional style. Zendaya's Challengers wardrobe reflects her ability to create winning looks that are both thematic and chic.

Let's walk through Zendaya’s curated wardrobe that's as striking as an overhead smash on the court:

Match Point Whites

Match Point Whites

In a look that could define match point, the Euphoria star wore a tailored white blazer paired with a flowing skirt featuring a thigh-high slit. White pumps completed the outfit, keeping it anchored in the Wimbledon colour tradition, but with a daring cut that speaks to her signature bold style. The outfit was perfect to attend the premiere hosted at Cinema Barberini on April 8 in Rome.

Silver Service

US actress Zendaya poses during a photocall for the release of the movie 'Challengers' directed by Luca Guadagnino on April 8, 2024 in Rome.

In another nod to the tennis aesthetic, Zendaya turned heads in a custom Loewe mini in Rome. Shimmering with all-over sparkles, featuring a deep plunging neckline and a playful pleated skirt the outfit hinted at a traditional tennis dress. The standout feature was the unique heels, custom designed by Loewe, with realistic optic-yellow tennis balls on the stems. The score is "One-Love" for her fashion-forward ensemble.

Wimbledon Whites

Zendaya redefined the meaning of 'tennis whites' on the premiere of her tennis-themed movie 'Challengers'

For the photocall at UGC Normandie on April 6, Zendaya elegantly embodied the Wimbledon whites tradition. She donned a custom Louis Vuitton ensemble, featuring a white leather bustier gown that cascaded into a multilayered mousseline skirt, complemented by a matching white leather belt. The structured bodice and flowing skirt, with its gentle pleats forming a train, mirrored the graceful arc of a tennis lob. To complete her look, Zendaya adorned herself with Bulgari High Jewellery, including a striking necklace, rings, and earrings.

Optic-Yellow

Actress Zendaya Coleman attends the "Challengers" Paris Photocall at Hotel de Crillon in a matching green blouse and trouser combo

During the Paris press conference at Hotel Crillon Zendaya emulated the vibrant colour of a tennis ball with a Marc Jacobs designed number. She donned a slick, satin suit that made a bold statement. The outfit which hails from Louis Vuitton’s 1999 archives, flaunted a relaxed fit with an open front jacket that teased a casual, yet polished look. Her choice of accessories – a petite gold bag and high-heeled silver sandals – added a touch of glamour to the sporty colour palette.

Tennis Greens

Zendaya attends the "Challengers" Paris Photocall at Maison De L'Amerique Latine in a chequered green and white mini dress

During the Paris leg of her press tour, Zendaya presented a day look that beautifully married the tennis aesthetic with contemporary elegance. She donned a green checkerboard coat from Louis Vuitton’s SS13 collection designed by Marc Jacobs. The ensemble featured a sharp collar, large buttons down the front, and a hem that grazed the mid-thigh. The pattern itself mirrored a tennis court's chequered lines, and the green embodied the lush hue of Wimbledon's perfectly manicured grass. To accessorise her look, Zendaya opted for Bulgari jewellery, selecting a Bulgari Cabochon ring paired with a B.zero1 ring and earrings, adding a luxurious touch to the sporty ensemble. A white headband completed the outfit, enhancing the tennis-inspired theme with retro flair.

Evening Match

Zendaya attends the Australian premiere of "Challengers" at the State Theatre on March 26, 2024 in Sydney, Australia

Zendaya showcased her flawless style in a Loewe sequined green gown, accented to mirror the silhouette of a tennis player. The gown's high slit, plunging neckline, and sequin shimmer perfectly captured the dynamic energy of a grand slam event. Elevating her ensemble, Zendaya adorned herself with Bulgari High Jewellery earrings and a Serpenti ring.

What is Zendaya’s movie Challengers about?

Tashi, once a professional tennis player and now a skilled coach, has remarkably guided her husband from being an average player to a celebrated grand slam winner. In an attempt to snap him out of a slump, she encourages him to compete in a challenger event — a step nearly at the bottom of professional tennis competitions. The situation heats up when he faces off against Patrick, a one-time rising star who has since faded, who is also his old best friend and Tashi's ex. The story is set to captivate viewers when it is released on April 26, 2024 in the UK.

zendaya

Challengers hits theaters on April 26. Zendaya spoke to ELLE last summer about how playing her femme fatale character, Tashi, scared her a bit at first . “I felt like it was a good step into a more, I guess you could say, ‘grown-up’ role and into that next phase,” Zendaya said. “It was a little scary to take on, which I think is a good feeling. To be like, ‘Ooh, can I do this?’ You could run from that feeling and stay safe and comfortable, or you can go, ‘You know what, fuck it.’”

She added that she still doesn’t fully get Tashi’s choices in the film. “I still don’t understand the decisions she makes, and we had so many conversations about why she is that way,” she said. “What was important to me was that she was unapologetic. Sometimes characters who are messy and conflicted and wield power over other people are reserved for [actors] who don’t look like me, so when I get an opportunity to play a character like that, I’ma take it!”

Positive Vibes Only: Stars Go Dim Encourages You To Be Fearless With A Performance Of "Live Like That"

One-man band Stars Go Dim unveils the freedom you'll find when you "see yourself through Heaven's eyes" in this inspiring rendition of his 'Grace In The Wilderness' B-side, "Live Like That."

Everyone has low points — moments of feeling "unworthy, not good enough," or "like you won't ever win." But as Christian pop rock singer Stars Go Dim suggests, if you "see yourself through Heaven's eyes," you will become the most fearless, unapologetic version of yourself.

"Would you open up your broken heart/ Show them who you really are/ Leave your regret in the past?" Stars Go Dim (aka Chris Cleveland) questions in the chorus. "You can live like that."

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only , Cleveland delivers a moving performance of the uplifting track, sitting at a piano in a serene outdoor setting.

"Live Like That" is a B-side from Stars Go Dim's 2022 LP, Grace In The Wilderness , which also features two of his most notable singles, "Authority (In The Name Of Jesus)" and "Satisfied." As he revealed in an Instagram post upon the album's release, "This music represents me as an artist more than any other music I've ever released."

Stars Go Dim is currently on the Authority In The Name Of Jesus Tour alongside The Band Table. The trek is named after his single "Authority (In The Name Of Jesus)," one of two tracks that Stars Go Dim released in 2023; he also released a collaboration with Nigerian Christian singer Chidiya Ohiagu, "Already Blessed."

Positive Vibes Only: Watch Tzy Panchak & Raizy Team Up For A Joyous Performance Of "God Is Love"

Cameroonian Afro-pop artists Tzy Panchak and Raizy team up for a soul-nourishing version of "God Is Love," a collaboration from Panchak's 2024 album 'God's People.'

Back in February, Cameroonian Afro-pop artist released his second album, 'God's People.' The nine-track LP spotlighted several of his fellow Cameroonian artists, including singer/producer Raizy, who features on the wavy, praiseful track "God Is Love."

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only , Panchak and Raizy deliver a live version of their uplifting collaboration, augmented by a full band and a group of gospel singers.

"God is love, God is love/ In my heart, in my soul," Panchak sings in the chorus. As Raizy declares in his verse, "I will never doubt how close I get" — both sentiments celebrating just how powerful God's love can be.

Positive Vibes Only: Terrian Reveals The Power Of "God's Acceptance" With An Uplifting Performance Of "He Sees You"

Contemporary Christian music singer Terrian delivers an acoustic rendition of "He Sees You," a powerful track from her newest album, 'Give It Time,' that celebrates the greatness of God's love.

Everyone could use that one person who loves them unconditionally, even at their lowest points. Contemporary Christian singer Terrian found that exact solace as "a child of the living God."

"I'm not perfect/ Even at my best, I don't deserve Him/ When everything's a mess under the surface/ He never makes me feel ashamed," she reveals in the opening verse of her track, "He Sees You." "He sees everything that you're gonna be/ He's healing every lie you believed/ He sees you."

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only , Terrian delivers an uplifting performance of "He Sees You," a track from Terrian's newest album, Give It Time , released on Jan. 26 via Gotee Records.  Supported by a group of background vocalists, an acoustic guitar, and a piano, Terrian's stripped-down rendition helps drive the meaningful message home.

"I've been living with open hands and trusting the Lord's timing. That's what this whole album is about — waiting," she explained in a press statement. "Waiting can be hard, especially when things aren't going the way you thought they would, but at the same time, it's been eye-opening. I'm grateful for the time to figure out who I am as an artist."

On March 13, Terrian will be playing a one-night show in collaboration with Unplugged Concerts at the Mockingbird Theater in Franklin, Tennessee.

Positive Vibes Only: Watch Passion Lift Up "He Who Is To Come" In This Healing Performance

Atlanta-based worship group Passion shares the feel-good promise of God's return in this stripped-down performance of their new single, "He Who Is to Come," led by longtime member Kristian Stanfill.

There are many uncertainties in life, but Atlanta-based worship group Passion knows one thing for sure: Jesus Christ will return — and He'll reveal a painless, sorrow-free world. Until then, they're praying for it with excitement and patience.

"He is surely coming/ Oh, can you feel it, too?/ All this tension growing stronger/ It's just a sign He's getting closer/ He's already on the move," they sing in the fourth verse of their single "He Who Is to Come."

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only , Passion delivers an acoustic version of the track, led by longtime member Kristian Stanfill.

"He Who Is to Come" was first released on December 1, 2023, via Capitol Christian Music Group and Sixstepsrecords, and also saw an appearance from GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Cody Carnes .

On March 1, the group dropped their live album Call on Heaven , including "He Who Is To Come," which they recorded at their sold-out Passion 2024 annual conference at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

" Call on Heaven is the sound of a generation desperate to see Heaven's reality of ceaseless praise become the reality of Earth," Stanfill said in a press statement. "What we experienced at Passion 2024 marked all of us forever. We'll never forget the glimpse of God's holiness, the weight of His glory, or the sound of His people singing."

On his newest project, GRAMMY-nominated musician Ricky Dillard uses his impact to unveil the peace and hope that arrives while worshiping God.

"I believe Choirmaster II is not just an album; it's a divine encounter," he explains in a press statement. "Each song is a testament to the faithfulness of God and the joy that comes from praising Him. I poured my heart and soul into this project and believe it will resonate with audiences and serve as inspiration for years to come."

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only , Dillard offers a live performance of one of those glorifying hymns, "Bless Your Name," accompanied by a choir and band.
