Maruti Dzire Tour is available with 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine with a CNG option too producing peak power of 81bhp and 113nm torque. For commercial purposes, this car is speed limited and fetches out 19.95 kmpl of mileage in petrol version while the CNG version return efficiency figures of 26.5 km/kg. Maruti Suzuki Tour S is offered in two variants with petrol and bi-fuel CNG variants. Its petrol manual variant has been priced at Rs 6.51 lakh while the bi-fuel CNG variant will retail at Rs 7.36 lakh, all prices ex-showroom. I don't like long rides, but the bus was comfortable and arrived right on time. The rides between stops were one or two hours, and the time moved along nicely, as the tour guide, named Indy, had us all fully engaged with stories and histories of where we were going. He was very knowledgeable, and the rides were a lot of fun. Everything, including the hotels and meals, went off without a single hiccup. Indy persuaded me to take the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, which I hadn't planned to take, but he was right, and I'm glad I took it. He engaged us in such a way that when we all went to our respective rooms for the nights, everyone came together for dinner, rather than going off as couples or singles. Then, while touring the canyons and trails, everyone chose to stay together, like a big family. This added to the experience in a positive way, and I can see how the tour guide made this all happen. He really solidified his group, and we all became good friends. After the tour ended with a trip back to the Mirage in Las Vegas, we all got together on our own, for dinner and drinks at The Venetian, where the wine was excellent, as wine often is when consumed with good friends. It was a memorable evening after a memorable three-day trip. Everyone has kept in touch, exchanging photos and Instagrams and stuff. We were dubious about finding a tour group and guide that were reputable, and we feel lucky to have found Bindlestiff and Indy. We have already decided to take another trip next year with the same organization. This tour met all our expectations, and really surpassed them, and I highly recommend Bindlestiff.

7 Day Southwest National Parks Grand Canyon Camping Tour

An epic, whirlwind adventure! What an amazing trip! Our guide was Dylan and he was terrific. He was smart, informative, and funny. He customized our week based on our group - making sure we all had a say and got to experience these magical places in our own ways as much as reasonably possible. He even saved someone’s life from another van by doing the Heimlich Maneuver! We did the camping option. We had envisioned relaxing evenings by the campfire but that only happened a couple of times. Usually we were scrambling to set up camp in the dark and then get packed and ready to roll out with the sunrise so we could pack in as much adventure as possible. So many incredible moments along the journey - our van fam was wonderful, pizza at sunset on the Grand Canyon’s south rim, a night hike in Aches with shooting stars and the Milky Way, s’mores on our last night with the whole group, and Dylan’s playlists for every occasion… we came home exhausted and happy, with multiple bucket list items checked off. Highly recommend!

Hiking Utah's Mighty 5

Tour itinerary was well planned in order to see and hike Utah’s Big 5 National parks in 9 days. Our guide Rachel was excellent and did her best to manage 12 clients, drive, buy food, supervise food preparations and clean up, and break camp. However, given the amount of organization needed for camping, meals and driving required; and overseeing the often difficult and strenuous hikes, it would have been a better trip if there were 2 guides instead of only one. This trip went very well because we were an older group with many professionals with administration experience who pitched in to help the trip go smoothly. If a group on this tour does not blend as well as we did, don’t pitch in to do their share of work, and/or do not have experience working as a-team with administration experience, it may not go so well or more likely be a disaster. To avoid this, better to have 2 guides.

Tim was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and always upbeat. Time with the wildlife expert was phenomenal. the tour itself was excellent. The good ranking has to do with communications from Intrepid Travel, which were poor and lead to changed air flights and other headaches.

Magnificent West - 7 Days

Excellent trip. There was a lot of driving but it was worth it. We had excellent guides with information that wasn't listed on the website. There was a lot of driving but many stops to break that up. I have been on a number of tours in America and Europe and found the hotels on this tour to much nicer than in the past. The tours of Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon were nothing less than SPECTACULAR. The guides on the bus and at the sites were more than knowledgeable. The bus was top of the line. I would like to add that the communication between tour radar and us was poor. No notice of change of first night hotel was passed on to us and the start n finish dates are not discussed AT all. Yellowstone / Grand Teton 4 Day / 3 Night Wildlife Adventure

This trip was fantastic! The group totaled 4 plus the guide Cade. We were not disappointed in wildlife viewing. We saw Black wolves, elk, big horn sheep and bison were up close and personal. Cade is an excellent guide and the trip would not have been the same without him. Cade knows both Teton and Yellowstone National parks like the back of his hand. He answers all questions and is an easy person to be around. Did I mention black bears, moose, Old Faithful and more. Fantastic trip! For birders, the bald eagle feasting on carcass and several other raptors. But, communication from Brushbuck is only when necessary for them. Don't let it stop you though. Hotels were luxe and transportation too. Loved it!

Amazing trip to see some of the best of US National Parks. Very educational and fun to learn about the history of the area and meet the locals on various tours and restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 7-day tour of the US southwest . We love the destinations included in the tour, every place we visited is on our bucket list. I wanted to pinch myself every day that I visited those iconic and beautiful places as shown in my photos below. We enjoyed all the extra, optional experiences that were suggested by the tour guide. They added more fun to the tour. The Hummer tour in Moab, Utah was one of the optional experiences and it was a blast! Not only it’s fun, you get to see the amazing scenery during the sunset. One previous review mentioned he or she was forced to participate in the Navajo taco dinner in Monument Valley. That comment is not true. You have a choice not to do that and the guide can make a different arrangement for you. The optional Navajo taco dinner is one of the highlights of the tour that we will remember for a long time. It would be a shame not to have this cultural experience when you get to meet Navajo people when you are in the Navajo Nation! Our tour guide, John did a fantastic job. He was full of enthusiasm and energy. He kept the tour well organized and always provided information we needed. We highly recommend the tour.

the tour itself was amazing. The national parks do not disappoint. The travel accomodations were very cramped and uncomfortable. I am only 5 foot tall and I was cramped in this 14 passenger van. Food opportunities were limited.

Keeping that in mind, Bajaj had gone ahead while updating the Dominar which had received a host of upgrades in 2019, that makes it a better product. The motorcycle continued with the same design but received a few subtle updates in 2019 which give it a fresh appeal. It is available with the choice of two colour schemes- Aurora Green and Vine Black. In terms of equipment, it features a data-extensive instrument console providing host information to the rider along with a secondary display on the fuel tank. It also gets premium-looking side mirrors, forged side stand and a double-barrel exhaust. In order to maximise the touring abilities, the 2019 Dominar comes with straps located beneath the pillion seat that can be used to mount luggage using bungee cords. Coming to the mechanical upgrades, the motorcycle now features inverted front forks borrowed from the KTM range. And with that, it also gets a radial caliper for the braking system up front. The rear continues to sport a monoshock and a single disc for braking. Dual-channel ABS is standard. Next is the motor. It’s the same 373.2cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected mill that comes with a DOHC configuration. This has allowed Bajaj to extract more power from the engine which now produces 39.4bhp of max power at 8650rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 7000rpm. The kerb weight of the bike stands at 187kgs. The Bajaj Dominar 400 was a game changer motorcycle when it was launched in 2016. It allowed many Indian buyers to own a 400cc motorcycle that came loaded with some great features and styling. And all this for a price that didn’t look far-fetched. But the sales were uninspiring, and their 'haathi mat paalo ads defied comprehension, which didn’t help Bajaj's case either. Ultimately, the brand realised that the only way to bring some major sales is by giving this power cruiser the necessary ‘major’ changes. That’s what the 2019 Dominar 400 is all about. Big upgrades for big tourers!

This colour has been launched to give the bike a bit more youthful and vibrant feel. Secondly, the upside-down forks have enhanced the overall look. It not only gives the bike an imposing look, but makes the bike look complete. (Remember the CS 400 concept from Auto Expo 2016?)

Then there’s the twin barrel exhaust, which makes the Dominar look a bit leaner. The headlamp has been reworked to make it look smaller, but mechanically, nothing has been changed. The pillion seat gets the ‘D’ logo – a feel good factor touch. 

The Package

The 2019 Dominar 400 is a better packed motorcycle now. The 375cc single-cylinder engine now gets a DOHC setup. The bike is more powerful at 39.5bhp – an increase of 5bhp over the previous model. But the torque stays at 35Nm. The engineers have worked hard to reduce engine vibrations – one of the main concerns on the older Dominar. While the weight has increased by 2kg, the power-to-weight has increased too from 190bhp/ton to 214bhp/ton. 

The 43mm USD forks have replaced the old telescopic ones. Bajaj says this has been done to provide more comfort and better handling. Both the instrument clusters, primary and secondary, have gone through major updates. The primary cluster now shows additional ride data like average and real time fuel consumption and distance to service indicators. The secondary cluster, on the other hand, shows the gear position indicator. 

The 2019 Dominar is now equipped with rear view mirrors that sport a new design. Along with that, there’s cast aluminium stalks. Also, the side stand has been reworked to provide better support, especially when touring with heavy luggage. To make it more touring friendly, the Dominar is now equipped with bungee straps, which are neatly tucked under the seat. Small addition, but a thoughtful one. 

The Dominar 400 was a fast motorcycle, but with some major upgrades, this Bajaj has now become better in munching miles. The additional 5bhp has given extra oomph to the bike to not only ride faster, but to also maintain that speed for longer durations. Twist that throttle, and it wouldn’t take much time to reach the 100kmph figure. In fact, the bike continues to feel energetic at 120-130kmph. The excellent mid-range, and the linear power delivery imparts the Dominar 400 churn with its comfortable touring abilities. The bike does 120kmph in just 7000rpm, with the bike redlining at 9500rpm. Thanks to the Bajaj engineers, there’s hardly any vibes till 8000rpm. Post that, some can be felt on the pegs and the seat. The gearshifts are direct and the throttle response is crisp. 

The ride on the Dominar, especially the high speed ride has improved quite a bit, thanks to the new USD front forks, and softer monoshock. The bike maintains its composure at high speed without any drama. There were some really bad roads enroute to Lonavala, and yet, at the end of the ride, I was not saddle sore and neither did my back require any attention. The overall cornering dynamics of the Dominar have improved a tad. But we’ll talk about this in detail when we get the bike for a few days. 

The brakes, however, could use some more work, especially at the front. At high speed, the front demands a great deal of lever work to slow down the bike. Plus, there’s not much feel on the lever. The rear though is progressive and offers good bite. The dual-channel ABS continues to work well. 

The Conculsion

Bajaj is yet to reveal the price of the 2019 Dominar. But expect to see a good increase in cost, thanks to the inclusion of high-cost hardware like USD forks. If the Pune-based manufacturer increases the cost by Rs 20,000, it will make the Dominar cost Rs 1.83 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Even at this pricing, the Dominar is value for money. It gets more power, better equipment and the most importantly – it can do high-speed touring really well.

It is just best in its segment The 373cc liquid-cooled engine just revs revs and revs!! The USDs and mono at the rear just give tons, tons, and tons of feedback Also, the service connection of Bajaj is just insane Even if it crosses the price bracket of 2,80,000 it will still be my favorite always

Best Bike in the category of 400CC The price is worth and the performance and comfort of the bike are nice but the drawback is on service not well service facility in our area service should be improved The bike is although very good and powerful machine my brother has the first generation 2017 model also and it is well maintained and the book gives out nice power now also Rode my bike till 145 and my brother's First generation went till 190 cause it's Bs3 and some mods are done I recommend this bike to you the upgraded version has good features also

This is one of the best bikes when it comes to touring, especially Highway rides are smooth and reliable. It could be considered for long rides and daily content videos. Its pricing is also competitive. It fulfils touring as well as sporting desires. If you are confused between a good torque sporty bike like KTM and cruisers like Yezdi, Royal Enfield, honda hness 350 or cb 350 then you can go with this machine as it will fulfil you both desire Also you can keep your card in drag races. Be careful if you are searching for all this with good mileage as claimed by the company it is 27 kmpl but it offers only a maximum 25 kmpl also the weight distribution of the bike is flaw somewhere which will be felt after you will have control over your bike.

Buy viser for better touring and better aerodynamics.

Amazed with the assistance and guidance rendered by the Bajaj while taking delivery of my bike. They truly deserve applause. The bike is a beast and exceeds anyone's expectations. Ride quality, comfort, power, style and confidence which Dominar 400 gives is unparallel to any other available option. Maintenance is easy with a wide range of service centres available. However, Bajaj now must provide a centre stand, a gear shift indicator on the main panel, and hazard lights. The inclusion of these features will further strengthen its stand. I suggest riders should go for this bike as it is a complete bike in comparison to all available options in the market.

Make sure you get your bike serviced at authorized service centres only. Don't be lured by cheap options in the open market as in the long run cheap options will cost more.

It was love at first sight with the Dominar after I rode my friend’s bike in 2018. Finally bought the BS6 tourer in 2023 that was readily available with the dealership and took delivery after 2 days. Needed a day to get used to it but once I had control, it was an amazing feeling with me falling more in love with it the more I saw and rode it. Have been on long rides (3800 Kms) and the bike just goes on and on without complaining. The only challenge I have is in terms of service as not many knowledgeable techs are available in Bajaj and the oil used isn’t great for the bike.

Oil change can wait for 10k kms after 2nd service but recommend Motul and getting the bike serviced at a premium bike service centre post the free service duration expires for your ride experience to be worth it.

Honda’s Civic range is the de facto standard in small sedans and five-door hatchbacks. Nothing revolutionary here, but exquisite execution. A 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four powers base LX models, but the 1.5-liter turbo four is strapped to a continuously variable automatic transmission in other versions.
