Roll into Eagles playoffs with The Road To Victory Bus Tour

The Eagles ended the season 11-6 and are the No. 5 seed in the NFC. They'll head off to Tampa next week to face the Buccaneers in the first round of the playoffs .

NBC Sports Philadelphia is partnering with Ticketmaster to present The Road To Victory Bus Tour, taking place all day on Thursday, January 11.

The bus is expected to visit various locations around the area including Conshohocken, Havertown, Westmont and more.

Road to Victory: Philadelphia Eagles prepare for playoffs

While the vibes are certainly low after the Philadelphia Eagles’ embarrassing end to the regular season , the Birds have the chance to put all the recent doom and gloom behind them as they prepare for their Wild Card matchup next Monday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

As the team gets ready for another playoff push, NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBC10 are getting you prepared for the big showdown with two events and special coverage.

The Road to Victory special

NBC Sports Philadelphia's John Clark will host a Road to Victory special -- sponsored by Toyota -- which will air live on NBC10 on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The special will feature an exclusive interview with Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert, another interview with Eagles Hall of Famer Chris Long and a tribute to the history of Eagles football that you'll have to see to believe.

AT&T Stadium

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wanted to make his mark when it came to building a stadium to replace Texas Stadium. And he didn't disappoint. Everything is Texas-sized.

AT&T Stadium, formerly Cowboys Stadium has several key design features, as outlined by the team's website, including the largest retractable roof on the planet, which when closed makes the facility the largest enclosed NFL stadium.

The most famous feature, however, may be the large overhead HDTV. A center-hung video board is composed of four display screens (two facing the sidelines, measuring 160 feet by 72 feet, and two facing the end zones at 53 feet by 30 feet), weighs 600 tons and is suspended 90 feet above the field. 

Designers hope that when the roof is opened, a process that takes 12 minutes, the image of Texas Stadium's famous "hole in the roof" comes to mind. Another architectural first is the world's longest single-span roof structure, featuring two 292-foot arches that support the retractable roof. The retractable end zone doors, which open in 18 minutes, also are, you guessed it, the world's largest.

The seating configuration is expandable to accommodate 100,000 for major events, including when Cowboys Stadium hosted Super Bowl XLV in February 2011. And the bow on the stadium is the 86-foot-high, canted-glass exterior wall. Cowboys Stadium also hosted the 2010 NBA All-Star Game.

American airlines announces round trip flight to brazil for eagles season opener.

The nonstop flight will leave from Philadelphia and arrive in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 5.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- American Airlines is offering a flight from Philadelphia to Brazil ahead of the Eagles-Packers game that will be played there in September.

The nonstop flight will leave from Philadelphia and arrive in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 5. There will be a return flight offered on September 7 following the game.

This will be the first time American Airlines is offering nonstop service from Philadelphia to South America.

The tickets will go on sale on the airline's website starting on Monday.

This will be the NFL's first Friday game on opening weekend in more than 50 years.

The additional optional tours were also good, we did the Metro tour which I highly recommend, we also paid for the Kremlin tour. The hop on hop off has three different lines all included. They suggested we do the 1 hour boat trip and said they would drop us to the dock. 1) they dropped us in the wrong place 2) they were lost because of the marathon Then the boat, after we finally found it: 1) stinking fumes, actually gagging 2) no commentary, in fact, no interaction unless you begged 3) offered us 2 for 1 icecreams as they had melted and refrozen as the fridge gets turned off at night Honestly, we enjoyed the afternoon in the boat but spent all of it laughing at just how awful it was!!! The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. If the bus is full then you have to wait at the stop for the next bus. So personally I feel that not much can be seen this way. I definitely was not impressed. The boat element was wonderful, we saw some amazing parts of Moscow along the river side. The bus element was very disappointing as it only started at 10am and was finished by 6:30pm. It was extremely warm when we were there and it would have been great to do the tour in the cool of the day. There was also no air conditioning in the down stairs part of the bus. The ear phones were small and sometimes the commentary did not link up with the sites you were seeing. The green bus takes you on a longer route and ours took two and a half hours due to the heavy traffic. I would not recommend this trip unless it is raining or you want to fill in time. The traffic is quite heavy so it is a bit slow but there is not a lot they can do about it. We only did the red route. The bus didn't stop at many points. Were were unaware a couple of times at what point we were and missed them. Headphones and maps were provided. Would recommend one should check out the route map before going and decide which places to stop in advance, this way one can manage and enjoy the tour more and us it more effectively.! • WilliamDyer 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Poor service on boat and too many waiting times on buses For the price, you should expect at minimum English speaking tour guides with decent experience, but at least in my case that did not happen both in buses and boats. And in the boat even tough we were 90% English speaking tourist at least, the tour guide spoke 95% of the time in Russia, and only 3 sentences in English, I really counted how many times she spoke in English. And at the end she asks us if we have any questions? Of course I told her I couldn’t ask her anything since I didn’t understand 95% of what she was saying. The boat tour is not worth it, just take the bus that would be my advice. Second minus is the waiting times, in the boat they made us wait an hour before it departed, and in many stops with the buses waiting times of 20-30 minutes.
