Travelers will have a choice of pick-up from the nearest point to their accommodation hotel where will be transferred to the catamaran. Some time will be allowed for settling and once on board then can enjoy the area towards Famagusta, skirting the sun-soaked coastlines of Cape Greco and Protaras. 

The sailing begins from Green Bay towards Famagusta and Konnos Bay where the famous Blue Lagoon area is located.  On board there is option for an alfresco meal and there will be time available for swimming.

Nearing the area of  Konnos Bay, the captain will drop anchor so that passengers can cool off in the inviting water in preparation for even more sunbathing.

Enjoy the space for sunbathing with spacious net decks, a flybridge with sunbeds and shaded lounging areas as well as facilities such as showers.

Enjoy also the meal served up by the crew. A last chance for swimming and snorkeling will be allowed before returning back  to the harbour.

Our guide Evangelia guided us through the interesting sites as the ghost toen of Varosha, Famagusta, Salamis and the St. Barnabas monastery with high competence and sense of humor. Personally I liked the ghost town the most. Very eerie and strange site despite the tourists. By the way, one lady lost her purse with the ID card during the trip, she had forgotten it at the toilet in Salamis. ID card or passport is mandatory when crossing the border. All staff did their best to solve the problem with major effort. Luckily the purse was found later with help from several people. So we had a happy end for our tour. First of all they sit you on a bus, that normally would do “hop on hop off”-style, understandable to why you cannot do this, when you go over to the occupied side of Cyprus. They then start to tell you, what you can and cannot do, which is okay, but they don’t give you any “guided” information until you get closer to the border. When you reach Varosha, they send you away with a map to explore the area for 2 hours. Here I was expecting to have a bit more of a proper guide, yes, I can read on the map, but most of the time, I just see completely abandoned buildings, and being the typical tourist I take the photos, but I have no clue of its history and background. The tour guides would walk around and would tell you a little bit about the area, when you saw them, but that’s it, and did not see them very much for the 2 hours we were there. Though the guys were absolutely brilliant, they were in their A-Game, and they would entertain quite a lot on the bus. Would absolutely do the excursion again, and definitely recommend it! This year it was the worse transfer I’ve had. Great to Hotel, return to Larnaca was horrendous. Driver was late. He then promptly picked his mobile phone up. Looking down at it all the time. He veered into the path of an oncoming bus. We both screamed. Thankfully he got back into lane. The driver laughed. He continued to look at his phone whilst driving like an idiot. Overtaking cars, buses at speed. Well over the speed limit of the road. These drivers shouldn’t be allowed on the roads, taking passengers to hotels/airports. One day someone will be killed. Do something about it MTS. We pay good money for a decent safe service. Make sure your hired drivers live up to your reputation. I certainly won’t be using or recommending MTS Globe again. Limassol, Cyprus

The sunny port of Limassol can be either a destination or a gateway—the choice is yours. Antiquity lovers will find plenty to explore in this city of over 100,000 (it’s also the southernmost city in Europe). Despite the modern waterfront high-rises and palm-lined promenade, Limassol has an ancient core: its Old Town, where you’ll find Limassol Castle. Best known as the place where Richard the Lionheart (Britain’s King Richard I) wed Berengaria of Navarre after his conquest of the island in 1191, it now houses the Medieval Museum of Cyprus. Another option for history buffs is the small Archaeological Museum showcasing artifacts from the Neolithic to Roman periods.Visitors need not venture far beyond the city limits to enjoy more medieval history or local Cypriot life. Kolossi Castle, about 14 kilometers (8.5 miles) away, is a military-style fortress that was a command post during the Crusades, first to the 13th-century Knights Templar and later to the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. The ancient city of Kourion is a top archaeological site, and the small village of Omodos features wineries, a market square and a well-known monastery.

The VIP catamaran cruise is an adults only boat trip for the most relaxing day out to indulge in. This is one of the most popular days out from Ayia Napa and Protaras and gives you a full 5 and a half hours cruising along the dramatic east coast of Cyprus.

This is an all-inclusive cruise with an open bar and buffet lunch included. Our sailing will take you past busy beaches and smaller bays and coves of the East coast towards the Famagusta ghost town viewpoint. View the dramatic rocky coastline of Cape Greco and the beautiful Konnos Bay nestled in between the pine trees. There are two swimming stops included where you can experience the fresh crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean.

The Mediterraneo II Catamaran has nets with mattresses for sunbathing, shaded seating area and a bar area, plus a new flybridge area with sunbeds and a sundeck. As a VIP cruise there are less passengers on board than regular cruises and you get a few extras such as fresh seasonal fruit and an upgraded buffet lunch. Your transport is also included from Ayia Napa and Protaras areas.

Pick up is included from all Ayia Napa areas and Protaras / Pernera / Kapparis areas. Return transport back after the cruise is also included.

Pick up will be from designated pick up points around the resort. Your nearest pick up point may be a few minutes walk from your hotel. Your exact pick up location and time will be advised upon confirmation.

Please be waiting at the pick up point before the time stated in case the bus is running early.

The cruise departs from the jetty at Green Bay. Occasionally for weather reasons it may depart from Ayia Napa or Protaras.

Transport from Ayia Napa and Protaras to the jetty is included in your ticket. If you would like to make your own way to the jetty or are arriving from a different area, please let us know on your booking and we will give you details on how to meet the boat. Pick ups start in Ayia Napa at 08.15 and Protaras at 08.45. Please book at least 2 days in advance.

The Mediterraneo II has capacity for up to 80 passengers over the main deck and the flybridge (upper deck). On this VIP cruise the maximum capacity is 65 passengers. On the main deck there is a shaded seating area and sunbathing space on the rigging nets, as well as the bar and buffet serving area. Upstairs there are mattresses and cushions. Background music is provided via the onboard sound system.

The catamaran has free WIFI, toilets and freshwater shower.

The bar has a range of snacks and souvenirs available for purchase.

Snorkelling gear, kayaks, SUP's and inflatables are available to use.

Sparkling wine and champagne, Imported brand drinks.

Additional snacks and souvenirs available to purchase from the bar on board.

Towels, Swimwear, Sun Cream

Sailing from Green Bay, cruising towards Famagusta Bay. We have a view of Famagusta ghost town and a swim stop at Kypros Bay. We then sail back past Protaras with a swim stop at Konnos Bay and the Blue Lagoon. Finally we sail past Cape Greco to the Lovers Bridge rock formation, Ayioi Anargyroi church and caves then back to our starting point.

The catamaran is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking.

Over 16's only, no children permitted on this cruise.

Pick up times start around 08.15 am from Ayia Napa and 08.45 from Protaras.

Pick up points may be up to 5 minutes walk from your accommodation.
