Justin Bieber on Tour

He's descended from the rafters attached to giant angel wings made of speaker parts. He's also held court to seas of screaming fans while sitting on a stool with an acoustic guitar. He's danced madly on EDM festival stages while backed by wild bass kicked out by Diplo and Skrillex, and he's faced off with Questlove in a live drum battle. He is, of course, Justin Bieber — the Canadian-born singer, songwriter, musician and world's biggest pop star, period. His debut concert tour, 2010's My World Tour, launched when he was 16, sold 1.4 million tickets and grossed $53 million. Although he's taken the occasional hiatus from the spotlight, Bieber was a seasoned performer before he was old enough to vote. At the heart of that success is an immense talent (both vocal and instrumental) initially tailor-made to court a global fan base of fervent tweens and kids. But as Bieber grew up, so did his taste and perspective. In tandem with setting Guinness World Records for streams, sales, radio plays, social media followers and video views, the boy became a man in public and on record — his celebrated fourth and fifth albums, 2015's Purpose and 2020's Changes, found him shedding a bubblegum background for new sonic frontiers and critical acclaim.

Justin Bieber in Concert

Justin Drew Bieber was born in London, Ontario, in 1994, and raised in low-income housing by the single mother who would share one of his earliest performances on YouTube in 2006, kicking off one of the most storied careers in music history. His talent was evident early on — Bieber was playing the drums at 2, and singing not long after. By the time he was 12, he was able to earn $3,000 busking in front of his town's theater during tourist season. Within a year of that, he'd been discovered by future music mogul Scooter Braun and introduced to Usher. Management and record deals followed, and Bieber and his mother moved to Atlanta to start building his future. In 2009, Bieber's debut EP, My World, dropped and went platinum within a month. All seven of its songs ended up in the Billboard Hot 100, paving the way for appearances on Ellen, at the White House and on Taylor Swift's tour. Up through 2012's Believe, with its single "Boyfriend," Bieber continued to project youthful optimism and innocent romance, but his career was effectively relaunched in 2015 after he teamed with Jack Ü to release "Where Are Ü Now," an edgy EDM track that found him expressing doubt and lamenting loss. That song, along with his similarly oriented "What Do You Mean?", set the stage for Purpose, a coming-of-age album that explored spirituality, struggle and mature love. Collaborations followed across dance (Major Lazer's "Cold Water"), Latin (Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito"), rap (DJ Khaled's "I'm the One"), country (Dan + Shay's "10,000 Hours") and alternative pop (Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy"), culminating in 2020's appropriately named, fully grown offering, Changes.

Concerts are back, baby! Justin Bieber is one of the first PST artists to announce his tour dates. On Instagram , Justin Bieber shared that he is getting ready for his Justice World Tour.

Tickets for the Justin Bieber Justice World Tour are already on sale for all dates. Plus, here are "a limited number of exclusive VIP Packages" which are also available,  they say.

The Justice World Tour is set to start on February 18, 2022, in San Diego, California. It will wrap up on June 24, 2022, in Milwaukee.

In our area, the Justice World Tour will hit Philadelphia on June 16, 2022, at the Wells Fargo Center. Click here to buy tickets.

The Justice World Tour will also be making a stop at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on March 31, 2022.

This tour was one we've been WAITING for. It was originally scheduled for 2020, but of course, it was canceled because of the pandemic.

Then the rescheduled tour was supposed to kick off in June, but as capacity restrictions remain in many places, it was clear this tour may need to be pushed back again. The good news is Bieber added seven more shows to the tour than the 2021 version. So now there will be 52 dates in total.

“We’re working hard to make this tour the best one yet,”  Bieber said in a statement. “I’m excited to get out there and engage with my fans again."

Concerts are back and it makes us so happy. Fans have to be extremely happy that the "Peaches" singer has made it official and is going on tour again .

Justin Bieber 2020

A week after it was reported that Justin Bieber ‘s fast-looming 2021 tour would be bumped into next year, Justin Bieber has made it official, announcing that his run of arena shows will now begin in San Diego on Feb. 18, 2022.

As recently as this week, tickets were still being sold for dates that had been scheduled to begin in San Diego on June 2 and quickly followed by other cities in California — a clear impossibility, since Bieber’s gigs are indoors and the state is considered highly unlikely to be allowing arena shows at 100% capacity in less than a month. Many of the dates from July forward likely could have been kept, but clearly bumping the entire tour made more sense than putting it on in pieces.

It’s the second time the tour has been rescheduled, since it was originally supposed to kick off in 2020, before the pandemic intervened.

Bieber’s reps said that, in the process of rescheduling the tour, AEG Presents has added seven shows, with previously unscheduled stops in Austin, Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Orlando, Cincinnati, Des Moines and Uncasville, CT, to bring the total up to 52 North American dates. Tickets for the concerts bumped back from 2020 and 2021 will be honored, and the seven added shows will go on sale some time later in May.

The tour has now been redubbed “the Justice World Tour 2022,” in honor of the fact that Bieber will now be touring behind this year’s hit “Justice” album, a record that might not even exist if the postponement of his 2020 tour hadn’t given him time off to make a quick, well-received successor to “Changes,” the album his arena outing was originally conceived to support.

“We’re working hard to make this tour the best one yet,” said Bieber in a statement. “I’m excited to get out there and engage with my fans again.”

Tickets for the new tour dates are on sale now. The full list of shows, with the seven newly added cities in bold:

Justin Bieber Unveils Rescheduled Tour Dates for 2022

Third time’s the charm? Justin Bieber has announced tour dates for 2022, most of which were rescheduled from his aborted 2021 tour , which itself was postponed by the coronavirus pandemic after initially being set for 2020.

When this saga began, the Canadian superstar hoped to promote his album  Changes . But that was so last year, and the arc of this tour now bends towards  Justice , his latest project that, despite some questionable album artwork , became the No. 1 album in America .

This iteration is bigger than ever before, with seven new arena shows added to the schedule. “We’re working hard to make this tour the best one yet,” Bieber said in a statement. “I’m excited to get out there and engage with my fans again.”

The 52-date trek begins February 18th in San Diego, includes two-night stands at massive arenas including the STAPLES Center and Madison Square Garden, and ends June 24th in Milwaukee at Summerfest 2022. Check out the full itinerary below.

Justin Bieber canceled the remainder of his U.S. Justice Tour shows, originally scheduled for June and July, following his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis that left half of his face paralyzed. The tour had also included an appearance at the Summerfest music festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the end of June.

"Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is upbeat about his recovery, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing for his fans overseas later this summer," an AEG tour promoter statement read. Bieber is set to kick off the international leg of his tour in Italy on July 31, 2022.

According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome "occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears. In addition to the painful shingles rash, Ramsay Hunt syndrome can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear."

Last Friday, Justin posted an update to Instagram. "By this point in my life I realize storms come and go. Jesus continues to remind me that he is with me in the midst of the storm," he wrote. "It's not about the storm. It's that we are NEVER ALONE AND HE UNDERSTANDS. 😭😭😭😭"

A source also told ET that Haley Bieber, Justin's wife, has been his biggest supporter through the medical crisis. "Hailey has been at Justin's side day in and day out, as always," the source said. "He is definitely leaning on her as his number one supporter and feels very comforted by her. He feels like with her support, he can conquer this and get back to his normal self, everyday life, work, touring and being healthy and happy. Hailey is certainly helping Justin stay positive and confident and they have high hopes for getting his health back on track."

Bieber's concert promoter AEG Presents announced the news, which was shared on Instagram by the tour's official account.

"In light of Justin's ongoing recovery, the remain US Justice Tour shows scheduled for June and early July, including at Summerfest ... in Milwaukee, WI on Friday, June 24, 2022 will be postponed," the statement read. As of time of publication on Friday (June 17), details on the rescheduled U.S. tour dates have not been announced but are expected to be made public shortly. Tickets will be honored at the rescheduled dates, but refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

The news comes one week after Bieber revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome , which left the right side of his face partially paralyzed , following the postponement of other tour dates. In a video shared on his Instagram, he updated followers on his progress and showing why he was "just physically, obviously not capable" of doing the shows.

"I'll be using this time to just rest and relax, and get back to 100% so that I can do what I was born to do. But in the meantime, this ain't it. I gotta go get my rest on so that I can get my face back to where it's supposed to be. I love you guys. Thanks for being patient with me. I'm gonna. get better."

Justin Bieber - Justice

Pop star is recovering from facial paralysis

Justin Bieber has postponed the remaining US Justice Tour dates due to his recent diagnosis with facial paralysis. Shows affected include the June and July stops throughout North America.

“In light of Justin’s ongoing recovery, the remaining US Justice Tour shows scheduled for June and early July will be postponed,” a message on the tour’s Instagram page reads. “Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is upbeat about his recovery, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing for his fans overseas later this summer.”

The message says details regarding rescheduled shows will be announced soon. Refunds are available at point of purchase with all tickets being honored for the rescheduled dates.

None of Bieber’s official social media pages have shared the news, although the June and July dates have been removed from his website.

Bieber is expected to resume the trek in Lucca, Italy on July 31st. Having sold in excess of 1.3 million tickets so far and selling out 31 dates within minutes , the tour travels to more than 30 countries and playing more than 125 shows from May 2022 through March 2023.

Last week, Bieber shared he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome , a rare neurological disorder characterized by paralysis of the facial nerve, or facial palsy, and a rash affecting the ear or mouth. Ear abnormalities such as tinnitus and hearing loss may also be present. RHS is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox in children and shingles in adults. In cases of Ramsay Hunt syndrome, previously inactive (dormant) varicella-zoster virus is reactivated and spreads to affect the facial nerve.

Justin Bieber Postpones The Rest Of His 2022 US Tour Dates Due To Facial Paralysis

Derrick Rossignol

Earlier this month, Justin Bieber postponed some concerts due to an undisclosed illness. A few days later, he revealed he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome , which has left one side of his face paralyzed. That was clear in the video Bieber shared revealing the news, as the movements of his eyes were out of sync and he was talking out of one side of his mouth.

Now, the condition has forced Bieber to postpone all of the North American concerts he had scheduled for June and July.

In a statement, Bieber’s tour promoter AEG Presents wrote, “In light of Justin’s ongoing recovery, the remaining US Justice Tour shows scheduled for June and early July, including at Summerfest at the @amfamamp in Milwaukee, WI on Friday, June 24, 2022 will be postponed. Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is upbeat about his recovery, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing for his fans overseas later this summer.”

Currently, Bieber’s website only lists upcoming tour dates for Europe, the UK, and others parts of the world that aren’t North America. His next scheduled concert is on July 31 in Lucca, Italy.

A few days ago, Bieber offered an update on how he’s doing, writing in an Instagram Story that “each day has gotten better.”

Justin Bieber Officially Cancels Remaining Dates Of His ‘Justice World Tour’

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has officially cancelled all of the remaining dates of his “Justice World Tour” following health issues.

On Tuesday (Feb. 28), the tour’s official Twitter page announced that ticket holders that paid for his concerts in the U.K., France, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, and the Czech Republic will automatically receive a refund. “Justin Bieber has officially CANCELLED the remaining dates of his ‘Justice World Tour.’ Check in with your point of purchase for refunds for your show dates,” reads the statement.

The Canadian singer and his representatives have yet to give a statement regarding the news but last June, which was only one month after his tour began, Bieber announced that he would be taking a break from performing. He told his fans that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which left his face partially paralyzed . The 29-year-old then resumed touring at the end of July. However, after going to Europe and performing six live shows, he announced that “it took a real toll” on him.

“I realized that I need to make my health the priority right,” The pop star added in the statement posted on Twitter in September. “So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.”

Hailey Bieber Posts Sweet Photo of Husband Justin Bieber Snuggling in Bed With Their Dog

Hailey Bieber gave Beliebers a brief glimpse into her domestic life with husband Justin Bieber on Wednesday (April 3) when the Rhode skincare founder posted a private pic of the singer on her Instagram Story.

According to E! News , in the snap, JB, 30, is seen laying shirtless in bed while snuggling with a small white dog; Hailey's post also featured a second pic of the dog sitting on the law looking into the sun.

Last month, Hailey celebrated the "love of my life" in a 30th birthday post for Justin in a post that featured some sweet moments from the couple's relationship. "30!!!!!!!????!!????!!!!," she wrote alongside a series of pics and videos of the duo kissing, smiling and cuddling up to each other. "That was fast. words could never truly describe the beauty of who you are. Happy Birthday to you… love of my life, for life."

Bieber has been keeping a low profile of late since announcing in June 2022 that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome , which left half of his face paralyzed. The singer subsequently cancelled his Justice World tour and has not performed a full concert or given a substantial update on his condition in months.

Bieber did make a surprise return to the stage in February when he played a set of hits and favorites in Toronto during a concert at Drake's 2,500-capacity downtown club History as part of the 2024 NHL all-star game festivities; Bieber was one of the honorary celeb co-captains of the weekend's events along with Will Arnett, Michael Bublé and Tate McRae.
