They really knew their stuff and kept up a running commentary as we moved along, sharing local information and history with their clients. The route was all the advertising made it out to be and even better, accommodation and meals were brilliant and more than adequate. The attention to detail and making sure that the clients were well informed of what was coming up on the route was well appreciated. The stop and lookout points along the way are perfect and well thought out. Highly recommend this tour and the professionalism of the staff and company.

The Best of Banff and Jasper, Hoteltour

An excellent tour. The Canadian Rockies were amazing as was our guide, Rebecca Roman. She was fantastic in keeping the group at the right level of activity and seemed to know everything - even where the best stones were to use as seats when we stopped for lunch. As the two oldest members of the group we were concerned about holding up others on some hikes. She managed to encourage us to the point where we felt comfortable. A truly wonderful young woman. One complaint - the tour had us staying in Jasper two nights but we ended up an hour away in Hinton. This increased our driving time considerably and Hinton is not Jasper. A few dollars of compensation would be welcome.

WY were fantastic. The hotels that were booked were above our expectations, central to all the tours we were booked on. Instructions regarding travel and meeting places were very clear and the included tours gave us a wonderful taste of each place, with a balance of free time for our own exploring. One of our flights was delayed by almost 6 hours (NOT WY’s fault) and we arrived in Toronto very early in the morning. WY organised our driver, contacted the hotel and thus we avoided what could have been a difficult situation in an unfamiliar city. Thank you WY - We absolutely recommend you as a reasonably priced, high quality, well organised tour group!!

It was made memorable by the care our tour guide Joanne took of what we saw, the multiple stops for photos, her knowledge of the history and geography of where we were and endless recommendations of things to do and see and where to dine. The scenery in the Rockies is breathtaking, the towns of Banff, Jasper and Whistler a delight and Victoria is charming with lots to see. Our shared house experience at Blue River with the barbecue cooked by Joanne was also something to remember.

Who hasn`t dreamed to travel to the other end of the world, to New Zealand. We made our dream come true with Jürgen and Michael- and we have no regrets. Always relaxed, in a good mood, with small funny anecdotes we were guided to New Zealand ́s hotspots as well to hidden places of interests. Our personal highlight will always be the Emmerdale Farm. New Zealand is a country with a breath-taking, wonderful, dreamlike scenery as well as incalculable forces of nature. I started to love and respect the country. This journey got me close to the country, thanks to the professional company and contacts with Maori by our „boys“ I saw and learned a lot about the locals, their history and customs - because we often got off the beaten track. I wish my trip would never end. Maybe I will return. There is so much more to discover.

We had wonderful weeks and amazing impressions, the group is fantastic! Thanks to our super guides Jürgen and Michael we had an unforgettable time. All went well, the way to get to know each other was great, the organisation was perfect. Fun, entertainment and all what goes along with the trip was not to be missed. Then came the big change, which nobody could foresee (Corona). But thankfully, we mastered this situation in a great way. Why is that? Michael needed to get home, during a level 4 alert. We say good bye in a wonderful way and wished him and his family all the best. We got fantastic support from Jürgen and thanks to his work, our team spirit was sky-high and helped us manage this unusual situation. So great to experience such a great guidance in a time, that none of us has ever experienced.

Winter Activities:

Fat Bike Single-track Tours - Experience mountain biking like never before on one of our fat tire mountain bikes. With over 4 inches of tire width you'll be able to shred on the snow, down real mountain bike trails with a smile from ear to ear. Tours take place in Whitehorse either on Mount Mac or Grey Mountain with an experienced and qualified guide with hotel transit included.

Fat Bike/Snowshoe Aurora Tours - You could jump on a tour bus with a bunch of other people and drive around trying to find the best aurora viewing, or you could come for a ride with us in a small or private group. The only sound you'll hear is the snow crunching beneath your fat bike tires or snowshoes as we head out on Lake Laberge with the northern lights overhead. At our secret viewing spot we'll have a fire, hot drink and snacks as we watch. Sure, it takes a bit more effort but that effort makes catching the aurora all the more memorable and deserved! We provide transport from your accommodation, bikes, helmets and snacks.

Fat Bike City & River Tours - Although our winter days are short, they offer some beautiful light and there's no better place or way to experience it than along the edge of the Yukon River on a fat bike. Tours run daily at a time that suits you. We'll meet you at your hotel with bikes and helmets ready to roll.

Mountain Bike Singletrack Guiding - With the rapid growth of mountain biking in Whitehorse and Carcross, we have some world class trails with world class views. We'll guide you down the very best trails to make sure you get all you can out of your bike trip in the Yukon. Yukon River and Lake Laberge Canoe Tours  - A trip to the Yukon isn't complete without a paddle down the Yukon river. Lake O’Hara is a fragile alpine environment. To preserve this unique environment and backcountry experience, Parks Canada’s Reservation Service allows for a total of 3,000 day-use visitors during the summer season.

In 2024, reservations for the Lake O'Hara day-use shuttle will once again be available by way of random draw. Applications for the random draw will be accepted between March 11 and March 31, 2024, on Parks Canada’s Reservation Service website.
