Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington in Blackpool

Angela Rippon, Strictly’s oldest ever contestant at 79, was eliminated in Blackpool, making her (and partner Kai Widdrington) the eighth dancers to leave the competition. Having written about her experiences on the show for the past few months as the Telegraph’s exclusive Strictly columnist , audiences will certainly miss her inspirational verve and passion.

I can’t wait to start!”

So far Angela is wowing the judges with her impressive footwork and fans can't get enough of her pairing with Kai — the pair did end up in the dance-off on Sunday, November 5 against Adam and Luba, but the judges voted to keep Angela in the competition.  Angela landed in the dance-off for a second time on November 11 after facing Krishnan Guru-Murthy.

I know I’m going to love it and have a brilliant time and just hope I’m not the only one enjoying my participation.”

Krishnan and Lauren left the show on Sunday, November 12 after facing Angela and Kai in the dance-off. Speaking of his time on the show, Krishnan told Tess: "This has been the most incredible experience. I said it has been life-changing and it genuinely has. TV presenter Angela Scanlon is an Irish TV presenter for the BBC and RTÉ and is dancing with Carlos Gu.

Well — there’s only one way to find out, right!? Now I’m panicking a bit… but also secretly thrilled about the prospect of all that glitter. Let’s go!”

She hosts the hit interior design show  Your Home Made Perfect  and  Your Garden Made Perfect  on BBC Two and is the only woman in the UK and Ireland to have their own Saturday night chat show with  Ask Me Anything  on RTÉ One.

On whether he thinks he has a chance of winning the show, Adam said: "You know what, I am going to be honest, when I first joined the show, I thought I have got a shot at it. But now I have seen the competition and now I know what I am up against. But that has made me feel a lot more at ease because I am not necessarily in it to win it now, I know I am just here to enjoy it and have fun!"

Adam found himself in the dance-off in Halloween week against Zara McDermott, but all four judges voted to save him and Luba.

Adam left the show on Sunday, November 5 after he found himself in the dance-off once again, this time against Angela and Kai. Sadly Adam's rhumba wasn't enough to keep him in the competition and all four judges voted to save Angela.

Can’t wait to get stuck in, bring on the glitter and sequins!”

Tess Daly, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley

Layton and Nikita performed their American Smooth to It’s Oh So Quiet by Björk, and Angela and Carlos then performed their Cha Cha to I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. Speaking of her time on the show, Angela said: “It’s been honestly incredible, I’m gutted, really gutted that it’s finished now, but it has been the most wonderful experience. I have made the best friend in this man [to Carlos]. We have had so much fun, he is such an incredible guy. He has supported me and picked me up and made me laugh so much. I don’t know what to say, it’s been magical honestly – all of those people up there! My husband at home, my two little girls and all my friends!”

Nigel and Katya

Former tennis player Annabel and professional partner Johannes Radebe become the tenth couple to be eliminated after finding themselves in the dance-off against Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.

Reflecting on her exit Annabel said: " Strictly  really has been so life-changing! When I think back to week 1, I was apprehensive and terrified… a bit like a rabbit in the headlights. But  Strictly  has brought me out of my shell and allowed me to discover things about myself that I never knew. I went through a lot of different emotions and I thank EVERYONE who has supported us both, along the way, because it's all of you, who have kept us going and enabled us to get this far. We really appreciate it."

Sadly fan favourite Amy Dowden wasn't part of this year's line-up as she has been bravely battling cancer, however, fans were left thrilled when she made an appearance on stage with her fellow dancers in the final.

The judges, Craig, Motsi, Shirley and Anton in Strictly Come Dancing 2023

Of course, the multi-award-winning competition is not complete without its fabulous judges.

The judging panel this year saw Craig Revel Horwood , Motsi Mabuse, Head Judge Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke all return.

News that all of last year's judges will be returning came as a relief to fans after there was speculation Shirley might be leaving after she admitted the show has taken its toll on her mental health after being targeted by trolls on social media.

During an appearance on  This Morning Shirley said: "I love the job, I love the actual critiquing. I love to get tips and help people along the way, to move forward to be beautiful dancers and all that they can be.

"This year, I've got a wonderful gentleman called Harry Surplus who is doing my social media and he's getting rid of any of those messages. My son checks over everything because it really did take a little toll on my mental health   for a minute. What I'm realising is everybody gets it, I'm not the only one."

The BBC revealed: "Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be back in the ballroom overseeing proceedings each weekend as a host of brand new celebrity contestants take to the floor in a bid to lift the coveted Glitterball Trophy."

Replacing Rylan was Strictly 2022 star Fleur East . Speaking on her new role Fleur said, "I’m so excited to officially join the Strictly family! I had such an amazing time on the show last year and so cannot wait to be talking to the celebs each week on It Takes Two ."

BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2023: Full list of pairings and celebrities and professional partners

There are 15 brand new couples taking to the ballroom as the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing kicked off on BBC One

  • by Jessica Sansome, Phoebe Jobling
  • 20:21, 16 Sep 2023 Updated 16:36, 17 Sep 2023

The glitz, the glam and the glorious - albeit sometimes questionable - dancing is officially back as Strictly Come Dancing finally returned to our TV screens. The new series of the BBC One dance contest began on Saturday night (September 16) with the launch show.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were back to help steer the Strictly ship for another year while judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke have returned to cast their expert eyes over the celebrities and their professional dancers as they compete for the Glitterball trophy.

As well as revealing who our celebrities are paired with during the pre-recorded launch, before the official first week of the competition starts next Saturday, September 23, the show opened with a dramatic performance from the fabulous professional dancers, who also performed alongside the judges in an eye-catching routine, like never seen before on the show.

The launch show also included a beautiful tribute to the late Len Goodman, in which Tess, Claudia, the judges and professional dancers remembered the Ballroom icon who died earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Jessie Ware also performed a rendition of ‘Free Yourself’ with a spectacular dance routine from Nadiya Bychkova, Johannes Radebe, Michelle Tsiakkas and Neil Jones, and for the last time, the 2022 Strictly winners Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał danced their week 4 Salsa from last years’ series reminding the audience exactly why they won the competition.

Hamza said during his return to the show: "Strictly was the best thing that’s ever happened to me, it’s changed my life, and taught me so much about myself, and I thought already knew myself pretty well".

But what we all wanted to know was which couples we'll be supporting this year. Didn't get to see who's with who or want a reminder? Here is the full list of your Strictly Come Dancing couples for 2023:

Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice

First up we saw award-winning stage and screen actor Amanda Abbington get paired with Giovanni Pernice. After being partnered with the Italian dancer, and asked by host Claudia how happy she was, the 49-year-old said: “I’m ecstatic, we get on really well, same sense of humour, and dedicated to working hard”.

When asked about Amanda’s reaction to the reveal, her partner Giovanni responded: “That was a reaction, I have to be honest…and also there was screaming that I enjoyed very much…very very happy days.”

Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima

Next up was former Love Island star and BBC Three documentary maker Zara McDermott, who is the first ever Islander to take part in Strictly. When asked about how she was feeling ahead of the pairing, Zara said:“I think I’m probably the most nervous I’ve been in my life. I’m not a natural born performer or extrovert, so this is the biggest challenge of my life!”.

The 26-year-old was partnered with Graziano Di Prima, who told her: ‘The sky is the limit! Be positive all the way,". Graziano then revealed to Zara that their first dance will be the Cha Cha Cha.

Jody Cundy and Jowita Przystał

Viewers then saw Jody Cundy CBE paired with reigning Strictly champion Jowita Przystał. Reacting to the partnership, professional dancer Jowita told the hosts: “I need to admit I’m actually a bit nervous because I don’t want to let him down, but I have a lot of ideas”.

When asked by host Tess: “You are an eight time gold medal winning Paralympian. You started off swimming, then you made the switch to cycling so I’m thinking Strictly easy peasy for you?," the World and Paralympic Champion replied: ‘I’d like to think so, but I don’t think it’s going to be. I’m a complete newbie at this, I had years and years of practice at the other ones so we’ll see what happens...let’s shoot for the stars!".

Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley

Next to find out their pro partner is for the season was Channel 4 News anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who was partnered with professional dancer Lauren Oakley. The 53-year-old presenter was delighted and said: “Oh it’s brilliant and she gets me immediately”.

This will be Lauren’s first time having a celebrity partner, to which she told the hosts: “It might be the first time that I’m partnered with somebody, but I know it’s a big ask for the celebrities to go out there and dance. So I think I need to be kind and give you confidence to have fun, but when it’s time to be strict I know how to be strict, don’t worry about that.”

Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington

Angela Rippon then took her turn to discover her pairing. The TV presenter was partnered with Kai Widdrington and said of the pairing: "W hen I saw it was Kai I couldn’t have been happier I promise you ”, with Kai echoing: “ I am absolutely delighted to have Angela , I think we are going to be fabulous.”

After host Tess said: “Angela, ripping up the dancefloor – we can’t wait for that can we?! 32 years after presenting Come Dancing, how does it feel to be on the other side?," to which the 78-year-old, who currently presents Rip-Off Britain for the BBC, responded : "It’s weird not being in your place and being in this place, but I’m going to enjoy it I think, yes."

Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin

It was then over to actor Layton Williams, who was paired up with Nikita Kuzmin for this series' all-male pairing. When talking about the partnership, the Bad Education star from Bury said: “He is going to whip me into shape, and keep me on the straight and narrow because I do like to think I know what I am doing and do the most, but I really don’t have a clue."

Claudia then asked Nikita: "Layton has previous dance experience, do you unpick that or do you build on it?," as the professional dancer esponded “Ballroom and Latin are completely different to anything Layton has done so far, the technique, posture and especially the coordination is completely different, he has a lot to learn and I can’t wait to teach him”.

Nigel Harman and Katya Jones

Next up it was actor Nigel Harman’s moment, which saw him paired with Katya Jones. After host Claudia told Nigel that professional dancer Katya could be quite strict, the former EastEnders star quipped: "Everyone keeps telling me this and every time they tell me this I get more and more terrified, but I am pretending I’m really calm about it.”

When asked about what Katya has in store for Nigel, the dancer told the hosts: “Idea’s will come as we get to know each other”. As a huge fan of the show himself, the actor said: "I have watched in awe as people have twirled and gyrated across the screen, and now it's my turn.....gulp."

Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell

It was then Bobby Brazier’s turn to meet his professional partner for the series, which was revealed to be Dianne Buswell as she appeared on the set of EastEnders. Reacting to the pairing, the 20-year-old actor said: “I am so pleased!”.

Dianne, who reached the final in 2018 with her partner Joe Sugg, responded: “I am so happy, I have already adopted Bobby as my little brother and I already care so much about him, I just want him to have the best time ever.”

Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer

Next up viewers saw British-Congolese comedian Eddie Kadi paired with Strictly's longest serving professional Karen Hauer, who has been dancing on the BBC show since 2010. After being partnered with Eddie, she said: "He will be cracking the jokes, but I’m going to be cracking the whip."

Speaking about his partner, the 40-year-old said: "She’s a little bit like kryptonite…she’s got a sound ‘ta ta’, when you get something a little bit wrong ‘ta ta’ I’m like oh my God, I’ve got to get used to ‘ta ta’."

Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe

It was then time for former British tennis player Annabel Croft to be paired up with Johannes Radebe, with the pairing reveal taking place on Wimbledon’s centre court. Johannes told Annabel: " I am going to take you through your paces my darling but the most important thing is that we are going to have fun."

After finding out Johannes was her partner for the series, the 57-year-old said: "I’ve got the best partner I could possibly have wished for, honestly he’s so special, you really are so special, it’s such an honour and a privilege to be dancing with you, thank you.”

Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola

Former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach then discovered she was partnered with Vito Coppola. When asked by Claudia about her pairing, the 22-year-old said: “I’m over the moon that Vito is my partner, honestly I’m so excited, I think we are going to have so much fun”.

Vito, who joined Strictly as a professional last year, responded:“I am just going to have the best time with Ellie, I want to have the best journey and have fun”. Vito revealed that they will be performing a sparkling Jive to which Ellie replied: “Oh no, that’s really hard, a Jive!”.

Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk

Viewers were left patiently waiting to find out who former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas' partner was, and it was revealed to be Luba Mushtuk. Discussing the pairing, the Waterloo Road star said: "I’m loving life…what is not to love? I’m on Strictly Come Dancing and I’ve got this Russian princess, I’m buzzing, absolutely over the moon."

Luba added: “I’ve never been this happy…so I am extremely excited and cannot wait to dance with you” When asked by Claudia how much he is looking forward to learning how to dance, Adam replied: “I can’t wait… this is why we do this show, it’s to learn how to dance.”

Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu

Next up, Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon was paired with Carlos Gu. Reacting to the pairing, she beamed: “Thank you universe…I think Carlos will be able to teach me, he is direct…I feel like there is a directness that I might respond to, like brutal honesty that Carlos has.”

Host Claudia asked Carlos if this is going to be the year he wins, to which he replied: “Oh yes, I have made a better plan and we are going for the glitter ball…we’ll do it one step at a time, no rush.”

Nikita Kanda and Gorka Márquez

The penultimate pairing was Nikita Kanda and Gorka Márquez, with the radio and TV presenter revealing her family’s reaction to her taking part in the show: “My mum cried, she was so happy, it’s made everyone feel good and have a bit of a smile on their face”.

When asked about her dancing skills by Claudia, Nikita said: “I am a party animal but when it comes to choreography that’s what I’m here to learn… I need to learn some new skills, I’m just like one arm up in the air”. Gorka went on to reveal that their first dance will be the Waltz and their team name is 'Gorkita'.

Les Dennis and Nancy Xu

Last up was showbiz legend Les Dennis, who was partnered up with Nancy Xu. When commenting on the pairing he said: “I am so happy… as soon as I met Nancy I knew I could learn from her, she is a great teacher and she is so enthusiastic”.

Nancy added: “I am so excited and actually we have already started”. TV personality and actor Les revealed that Nancy is teaching her to dance and Les is teaching her to speak ‘scouse’.

Strictly Ballroom 2022/2023 tour – full cast confirmed

strictly tour 2023 cast list

Kevin Clifton and Maisie Smith lead the cast of Strictly Ballroom The Musical

Full casting has been confirmed for the Craig Revel Horwood-directed 2022/23 UK tour of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom The Musical .

As previously announced ex EastEnder , 2020 Strictly Come Dancing finalist and Strictly Come Dancing 2019 Children In Need Special  champion Maisie Smith will make her musical theatre debut alongside her 2019 Strictly pro-partner Kevin Clifton in the new production of the hit romantic comedy set within the sequin-drenched world of competitive ballroom dancing.

They will be joined by Nikki Belsher (Shirley Hastings); Mark Sangster (Doug Hastings); Gary Davis (Barry Fife); Quinn Patrick (Les Kendall); Oliver Brooks (JJ Silvers); Jose Agudo (Rico); Karen Mann (Abuela); Agnes Pure (Liz); Benjamin Harrold (Ken); Jessica Vaux (Charm); Danielle Cato (Tina Sparkle); Kieran Cooper (Wayne); Maddy Ambus (Vanessa); Adam Davidson (Nathan); and Poppy Blackledge (Pam). The ensemble will feature Liv Alexander, Edwin Ray, Stuart Rouse, Hollie Jane Stephens, Michelle Buckley and Stylianos Thomadakis.

Directed and co-choreographed by the hard-to-please King of the Saturday night put-down, Craig Revel Horwood, and co-choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing ’s creative director Jason Gilkison, the production is due to launch in Portsmouth on 26 September 2022, before dancing into venues across the UK with the tour taking its final bows in Bristol in July 2023.

Commenting on the production, Revel Horwood added: “I’m delighted that the super talented Maisie Smith is joining Kevin Clifton on the Strictly Ballroom UK tour. I can’t wait to see them dance together again. Expect some sexy moves, sizzling costumes and a simply sensational evening! I know that they’ll both be FAB-U-LOUS!”

Leading man Clifton commented: “I’m thrilled to finally be fulfilling my lifelong ambition to play Scott Hastings in Strictly Ballroom The Musical .  When I was 10 years old I first watched the movie that would become my favourite film of all time. This is my dream role. I’m beyond excited to be performing with Maisie again – she’s amazing – and can’t wait to don the golden jacket and waltz all over the UK with her in this incredible show!”

Smith who is due to remain with the production until 25 March 2023 added: “Dancing in Strictly has been a huge part of my life, and been so much fun. I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to continue that journey in Strictly Ballroom The Musical . Not only do I get to make my musical theatre debut with my former partner in crime, Kevin Clifton, but I get to work with Craig Revel Horwood and Jason Gilkison again too – I can’t wait.”

A favourite with fans of the BBC celebrity dance show, international Ballroom and Latin champion, Clifton made his musical theatre debut in Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych in 2010 and returned to play Robbie Hart in The Wedding Singer for a limited London season at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.

As well as being a popular fixture on Saturday night TV, Revel Horwood’s vast musical theatre credentials include playing Miss Hannigan in multiple productions of Annie and directing and choreographing productions of a range of major shows including Sister Act and Chess .

The feel-good story of the rule-breaking dancer and the shy outsider who transforms into the perfect partner first hit the stage as a student play. The play was then transformed into a film by Luhrmann and designer Catherine Martin before the duo working with Terry Johnson, who joined the team to adapt the original book, to return to the stage in its musical incarnation at the Sydney Lyric Theatre in 2014.

Featuring a book by Luhrmann and Craig Pearce and a mixture of feel-good songs from the film’s original soundtrack along with new songs from current chart stars Sia, David Foster and Eddie Perfect also played seasons in Melbourne and Brisbane in 2015. The show made its eagerly anticipated UK debut at the West Yorkshire Playhouse late 2016 before playing a West End run in 2018.

Following the announcement Les said: 'I'm thrilled to be doing this iconic wonderful show as I approach my 70th birthday! In my career I've always gone for challenges outside my comfort zone and this is the ultimate one! Can't wait.'

Forbes Billionaire List

It’s official: Taylor Swift is very, very rich.

The ‘Eras Tour’ singer-songwriter has joined the Forbes World’s Billionaires list, one of 14 celebrities who, according to the magazine, are worth a collective $31 billion. Swift’s achievement is all the more noteworthy, Forbes says, because last October she accomplished “a feat no other musician had before: she became a billionaire strictly off of earnings from her music and performances.”

  • George Lucas Net Worth: $5.5 Billion | Age: 79 | Citizenship: U.S. The Star Wars director, who debuted as a billionaire in 1997, is the richest celebrity thanks in large part to his production company LucasFilm, which he sold to Disney in 2012 for more than $4 billion in cash and stock.
  • Steven Spielberg Net Worth: $4.8 Billion | Age: 77 | Citizenship: U.S. Spielberg joined the list in 1994, the first director to make the cut, after a string of hits that included Jaws, Jurassic Park and Schindler’s List. “I’m a gambler,” he told Forbes that year. “I haven’t taken a salary for almost a decade now.” Instead, he negotiated to get a percentage of gross sales for his movies, and he still gets a slice of every ticket sold at Universal theme parks thanks to the Indiana Jones series.
  • Michael Jordan Net Worth: $3.2 Billion | Age: 61 | Citizenship: U.S. Jordan became the first billionaire athlete in 2015, but it wasn’t from his legendary basketball career or gambling winnings. Instead, Jordan has raked in more than $1.8 billion from brand partnerships, most famously Nike’s Jordan brand. He also made a very wise investment in 2010, buying the Charlotte Hornets NBA team for $175 million. He sold the team in August 2023 for $3 billion.
  • Oprah Winfrey Net Worth: $2.8 Billion | Age: 70 | Citizenship: U.S. The daytime talk show host became the first black female billionaire in 2003. In the years since, she has built her brand into a media and business empire, including investments in real estate and her own production company. Soon after Winfrey revealed that she had started taking a weight-loss drug, the longtime WeightWatchers board member and key shareholder announced plans to step aside.
  • Jay-Z Net Worth: $2.5 Billion | Age: 54 | Citizenship: U.S. Hip-hop’s first billionaire sold a 50% stake in his champagne brand, Armand de Brignac, to luxury goods giant LVMH in 2021 for at least $300 million, and a majority stake in his cognac label D’Usse in 2023 for a reported $750 million to Bacardi. He also owns stakes in Uber and Block. His net worth does not include his wife Beyonce’s own half-billion-dollar fortune.
  • Kim Kardashian Net Worth: $1.7 Billion | Age: 43 | Citizenship: U.S. No one has cashed in on reality star fame more than Kim Kardashian, who has become a billionaire from her beauty and clothing brands. Her shapewear line Skims was valued at $4 billion in a 2023 funding round, and she sold 20% of KKW Beauty makeup company to Coty in 2020 for $200 million. She has since shut KKW Beauty down.
  • Peter Jackson Net Worth: $1.5 Billion | Age: 62 | Citizenship: New Zealand The visionary director behind the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises, Jackson made most of his fortune from his visual effects company, Weta Digital, which sold a portion of its assets to game maker Unity Software in 2021. That deal netted the New Zealander nearly $1 billion in cash and stock.
  • Tyler Perry Net Worth: $1.4 Billion | Age: 54 | Citizenship: U.S. Perry has brought in well over $1 billion in pretax earnings over a three-decade career creating and acting in TV shows, movies and stage plays. He famously lent one of his Los Angeles homes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family.
  • Rihanna Net Worth: $1.4 Billion | Age: 36 | Citizenship: Barbados The pop star has stakes in two billion-dollar brands: cosmetics company Fenty Beauty, which she owns alongside luxury goods giant LVMH, and lingerie business Savage X Fenty. Both are named after the Barbados-born singer, whose real name is Robyn Fenty.
  • Tiger Woods Net Worth: $1.3 Billion | Age: 48 | Citizenship: U.S. Tiger Woods is in an exclusive club, joining Lebron James as the only two athletes who became billionaires while still active in their sport. But, more than anything, it was his celebrity that pushed him into ten digits. The five-time Masters’ winner has earned over $1.7 billion in his career, the bulk of it from endorsements. His most notable brand deal, a nearly three-decade partnership with Nike, came to an end in January. Woods soon announced his own clothing line, Sun Day Red.
  • LeBron James Net Worth: $1.2 Billion | Age: 39 | Citizenship: U.S. The basketball great has pulled in more than $1 billion in on and off-court earnings over his two-decade career. He’s invested it in real estate, stakes in businesses like Blaze Pizza, his own production and entertainment company SpringHill, and, of course, sports. James has a stake in Fenway Sports Group, owner of the MLB’s Boston Red Sox; soccer club Liverpool and the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins.
  • Magic Johnson Net Worth: $1.2 Billion | Age: 64 | Citizenship: U.S. Johnson made his name in basketball, but long before the crazy salaries or even endorsements deals of late. Instead he made his fortune in business and, specifically, through savvy partnerships with other billionaires. He owns pieces of the NFL’s Washington Commanders (with Justin Harris), the MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers (with Todd Boehly), the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks and MLS’ LAFC. Most of his wealth comes from his stake in Iowa-based life insurance provider EquiTrust.
  • Dick Wolf Net Worth: $1.2 Billion | Age: 77 | Citizenship: U.S. The mastermind behind the most watched crime shows on TV, including Law & Order and FBI, Wolf debuts on the billionaire’s list thanks to nearly $2 billion pretax earnings from his 30-year career in television.
  • Taylor Swift Net Worth: $1.1 Billion | Age: 34 | Citizenship: U.S. Miss Americana capped off one of the most culturally influential years a musician has ever had by becoming a billionaire in October. Her estimated $190 million post-tax earnings from her historic Eras Tour helped boost the country-and-pop musician into the three-comma club—the first person to do it based solely on songwriting and performing.
