Itravel2000 is known to offer customers more travel options than any other Canadian travel retailer through a full product suite for vacation packages, cruises, airline tickets, hotel rooms, and rental cars.

Is iTravel2000 Prices Fair?

Itravel2000 works primarily as an agent and this entails that they do not set any third-party suppliers’ terms and conditions, payment terms, or penalties and cannot change or influence such policies. However, iTravel2000 strives to find cheap and affordable prices for customers.

They also offer innovative payment plans on vacation packages. Also, note that all the prices displayed on the itravel2000 website are in Canadian Dollars (unless otherwise stated). A good number of supplier rates are noted to iTravel2000 in US dollars or other currencies; itravel2000.com will leverage the exchange rate available at the time of quoting.

Have it in mind that payments processed at a later date to your credit card may have an entirely different exchange rate than the one calculated at the time of booking, which will be applied either by the supplier or your credit card company. Itravel2000 is not responsible for currency fluctuations; nor does it guarantee the Canadian equivalent of the purchase will be the same, as this is out of their control.

How is iTravel2000 Quality of Service?

Very bad! ITravel2000 has a consumer rating of 1.4 stars from 42 reviews and this goes to show that a good percentage of its customers are really not satisfied with their purchases. Consumers complaining about ITravel2000 tend to center more on customer service problems.

Other Things To Know About iTravel2000

In addition to all the information noted above, below are additional facts to note about iTravel2000;

When making travel arrangements with iTravel2000 have it in mind that full payment is due for online bookings made within 52 days of departure. Note that bookings outside of 52 days may be allowed to apply a deposit based on the third-party supplier terms and conditions.

You can pay for your purchases using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. Sometimes, note that American Express may not be available as a payment option. Additionally, have it in mind that International credit cards are not always accepted. ITravel2000 is known to accept and process e-transfers and direct deposits (cash only). They may also accept and process Visa Debit.

However, when applying with a Visa debit or bank debit (Interac) card, in the event of a cancellation, funds may be held for up to 60 days by your financial institution. Owing to that, iTravel2000 may suggest you use another form of payment, such as any major credit card, to avoid any such delay and inconvenience.

Cancellation/Changes/Refunds

With iTravel2000, have it in mind that cancellations and/or changes may result in a 100% penalty coupled with an additional itravel2000 cancellation fee. If the supplier permits, some changes may be permitted, for a fee, as per the Terms and Conditions of the Tour operator, airline, or consolidator.

Also, note that a written request may be needed to make any alterations or cancellations to a reservation. It is also advisable customers acquire travel insurance to protect against the loss of the purchase price owing to unpredictable circumstances and/or any other covered reason (i.e. Force Majeure).

Also, note that no refund will be made for unused travel services or any unused portion of the services. Any alterations to your booking will also be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the tour operator, airline, or cruise line as stated on their website.

Customer Service Issues

To report issues, customers are advised to forward their complaints via [email protected]. Have it in mind that any claim or complaint against itravel2000 or with respect to the Trip Service will have to be quickly submitted within 25 days after the scheduled day of consummation of the product or service (e.g. check out date).

Note that any claim or complaint that is sent in after the 25 days period may not be attended to, and the claimant might have to forfeit the right to any compensation/refund. Once you have sent your claim or complaints, Itravel2000 will forward them to the appropriate third-party supplier (e.g. – tour operator, airline).

Don’t forget that iTravel2000 cannot be held responsible for services purchased but not received by a third-party supplier; howbeit, as your retail travel agent, they will take up the issue and strive to work to help get a resolution on the customer’s behalf.

Special Requests

Also note that you can make a special request for a room allocation, adjoining rooms, bed type, airline seating, etc. when making travel arrangements with iTravel2000. However, it is imperative to note that these requests are not guaranteed. Aside from that, iTravel2000 cannot be held liable if the special request fails to be granted by the supplier.

Have it in mind that the inability to meet special requests will not constitute a breach of contract by iTravel2000. Itravel2000 doesn’t have the right to guarantee that any request or communication will be adequately and timely received/read by, complied with, executed, or accepted by the supplier.

Ticket Delivery

You need to understand that electronic tickets (e-tickets) and supporting information will be forwarded to the customer’s email (the address made available at the time of booking) approximately 14 days before your departure date. However, for bookings made within 14 days of departure, electronic tickets (e-tickets) and supporting information will be forwarded to customers’ emails within approximately 72 hours of making the booking.

When available, itravel2000 will also forward tickets and documents earlier or at the time booking is confirmed. If not received, it is suggested you check your junk/spam folder or email [email protected].
