AJR IN CONCERT: New York-based brother band AJR is generating significant buzz with their unique blend of barbershop harmonies, dubstep beats, and internet-savvy lyrical references. The trio's success with debut single "I'm Ready" has inevitably drawn comparisons to fellow brother outfit Hanson, but AJR's eclectic sound and DIY approach put them in a category all their own. From bright handclaps and playful samples to energetic ukulele and guitar strumming, AJR have crafted an endlessly creative sound that always leaves fans wanting more on their unforgettable tours.  BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT: AJR is comprised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The native New Yorkers got their start as street performers, playing covers of songs by the Beach Boys and Vampire Weekend in parks around Manhattan. The brothers released their  debut single "I'm Ready" in 2013, tweeting it out to a number of celebrities in the hopes of getting discovered. The tactic worked -- the song caught the eye of SIA, who helped AJR secure a management deal. As the group's reputation continued to grow, they made their first TV appearances with performances on Good Day New York and VH1's Big Morning Buzz show. In late 2013 AJR released the I'm Ready EP, a solid debut that earned them opening slots on tour with big-name acts like Demi Lovato and the Wanted. A rising young act with talent to the gills, AJR have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming tour dates.

A 50/5 show rating.

It was the best concert I’ve ever been to! I would pay anything to go see them again! It is definitely worth it if you go see them no matter the price! You are already lucky 🍀 if you get to go to a concert from them!

It was one of the greatest concerts

I love th experience and the music was just amazing, and I am so excited to go again on my birthday. It was just that much that I need to go again to hear their new songs. :)

One of the best shows

This is one of the best shows I have EVER been to. I love Jack‘s performances and the upbeat energy that just makes the band better. The special effects are amazing, and I love how they take breaks to tell stories, instead of other people who just sing the songs and leave. I will definitely see AJR again and I will love them forever.

Great show!!!

Love, love, love their energy!!! AJR puts on a amazing show.... so entertaining and FUN! The crowd vibe was great, but then again this is AJR!

My 10 year olds first show - we both loved it! Quality was great & we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Awesome Show

Great performance and probably the best the stage AJR has performed because of how close the seating is to the stage. I was seating mid stage and I felt so close watching AJR.

Honestly best concert I went to this year. We are already planning on buying more AJR concert tickets. The stage presense was spectacular and the overall experiences was so worth driving 5 hours and calling out of work sick.

I really didn’t know that much about this band but they were fantastic! To say the least we are fans now!!!! Great first concert for my 11 year old as well.

Loved every minute

This was by far one of the best experiences, AJR was fun and energetic the whole time. They interacted with the audience and introduced their songs, told us about background and made a very memorable performance. 10/10 would recommend and would see again.

Always a fun show

Great venue and a fun show, second time seeing AJR and although there were more theatrics at 5 point stadium these tickets were a lot less. If you love their music I highly recommend.

Great light show. Honestly, terrible quality of show outside of that. I went as an 18 year old college student, and found myself in a room full of eleven year olds and their parents. The show seemed to cater to that age group, too, and was kind of unprofessional in the area of interacting with the audience. They had a message of their dad talking, which was awkward in itself, but then the dad dropped an f-bomb and these hoards of children were there to hear it. The lead singer, Jack I think, did this spastic dance to some of the music, and maybe to him this was interpretive to the song but it was really distracting and obnoxious.

There were interesting tidbits, like remixes they made or moments of nice emotion, but a lot of it was terrible audio quality, annoying teenagers next to me, and an awkwardly made show. It felt like a montage of ideas that no one was able to compromise on. Maybe if the actual music audio had been of high quality I could have stood it, but it was sub-par at best. I know it wasn't the location, either, because I saw The Wombats a couple months ago at the same place and it was fantastic.

Oh, well. I still enjoy their music. Their live performance has room to improve.

It’s evident from the way the boys work so tightly together that Adam, Jack and Ryan, the boys that make up AJR, are in fact brothers. Their indie pop music grabbed me the first time I heard their recordings, with the almost barbershop techniques that they use, harmonising flawlessly together to create a really original sound. The combination of vocals, ukulele, guitar, and electronic music makes their sound exciting and original, and with each track, you never know what to expect.

They opened their set with I’m Ready, and got everyone singing along and clapping to a beat they provided in the penultimate chorus. Their voices are incredible and effortless, and as soon as we’d picked up the melody in the audience, they were harmonising around us, which was awesome, as it was kind of like the audience were holding the song together.

They played a good selection of tracks from both I’m Ready, and Break You Down, and everyone in the audience seemed to know all the lyrics, so they atmosphere was electric, with everyone singing along excitedly. They were super friendly, and great at interacting with us in the audience, making everyone in the crowd feel really special.

My 19 year old son and I went last year when they played at Hell's Kitchen in NYC. It was fantastic. The sound quality was amazing. It was packed. These guys are young enough to reach out to young people but have some skin in the game that they can communicate a good level of maturity for people older than they are so the music can be enjoyed across generations.

They remind us that although we have to grow up and be responsible adults don't grow up too much, remember to have a child-like heart, don't take everything so serious, and dance crazily every once in a while.

They are very intentional in their lyrics, the way they compose their music, and the way they present themselves; it's more than a performance or act, it's a message, and they carry that well. If you are willing to listen to all of it, the music, the words, the vibe, the talk, the moves, everything, then you will hear it, the message, their purpose to the world.

AJR, Amazing Concert with Great Openers

I went to see AJR in Detroit last night. A friend bought me tickets and we had a blast. I thought the opening acts were amazing.

Now, I was surprised walking in and seeing a bunch of middle and high school kids. But that made it much easier to see over. It was a nice small venue.

The opening acts performed hits I listen to on the radio. The 100 Handed One got the crowd warmed up. Then Max got the crowd pumped up. Max had an energy that is rare for an opening act.

Then AJR brought an energetic performance with true showmanship. I was surprised by the enthusiastic crowd that was in concert with the performers. The quality of storytelling was humorous and touching.

I will continue to follow AJR as they mature over the years. I would pay to see them again. I am afraid the next time will be in a much larger venue. The show was truly amazing.

AJR in concert was so amazing. They kept the crowd energized and on their feet. It was so much fun to sing and move along to. My only complaints are the long wait and the building it was held in. The concert was scheduled for 7:00, and even though there was an opening performance, AJR didn't even go on until 9:00. It was just disappointing, especially since it was so hot inside and outside; which goes on to my next complaint. The building just needed better air conditioning, along with more room for the crowd. All I saw was one ceiling fan behind us and everyone was so squished together that there was barely any room to dance. I get that most concerts tend to be similar to this, but I guess this is just my opinion. Other than that, everything was absolutely great and I would love to see them again!

AJR had high energy, great sound and huge stage presence. I only came to see them. No offense to walk the moon and foster the people. I left when AJR left and i was not the only group leaving to. We just want AJR! I hate that AJR name was so small on sign when to me there a better band then the headliners.

I need a ajr shirt in a 3× or i will have to make my own. I love you guys, im happy for guys, your blowing up, your music is dope your styles are dope! Word to the mothership bro's im telling you now! Enjoy these times these are the good ole days #theoffice

Fantastic show! I’ve seen about 30 artists live this last year and they are one of my favorite performances. They are unique in the way they interact with the crowd. They make you feel very involved. They also do a great job of being real with the crowd. They tell it how it is as they tell their story and share their music. I would definitely recommend. It was nothing short of a great concert and it was worth every penny(something I can’t say for every artist I’ve seen this year) and I will definitely see them again if I get the opportunity!

I have not been to a lot of concerts. A few, but I wouldn’t say many. This show, however, was the best one I have ever seen. The set list did not disappoint, and it was a full on production from start to finish. I laughed, I nearly cried, and while I was in the stands for this one, I will do everything I can to be in the pit for the next one. I’m writing this with absolute exhaustion in between classes because of the late night I had seeing AJR, but I think I could pass out and get a concussion with this show still being worth it.

This was THE BEST concert of my LIFE!! It was like a full broadway show and they thought of EVERYTHING!! I wanna just get in my car and follow them to the show. Not even kidding!!! There was a medical emergency where someone in the crowd started seizing and the show stopped immediately. ten minutes later the shown continued. AJR was VERY professional and very very respectful about the safety of the fans first! They were incredibly forefront about stopping the show until everyone was okay!! Best show of my life!

AJR puts on the best show out of every artist I have seen live.

They have created a show that that engulfs you in its visual theatrics yet at the same time feels as intimate as a house show in a living room. Throughout their entire journey to popularity they have stayed authentically AJR. When I'm at an AJR show I don't feel stupid for flaling around, expressing every emotion their music brings out of me because when I look up onstage I see the same.

Go to one of their shows, you won't forget it.

Saint Paul, MN - Today, the multi-platinum chart-topping band AJR officially released their fifth studio album, The Maybe Man, via their own AJR Productions label and Mercury/Republic Records. Last night, the band appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for their first-ever late night couch conversation. They are also set to perform the new single on Live with Kelly and Mark later this morning.

Across twelve dynamic tracks, AJR present their big, sad, titular superhero constantly questioning who he is - an incredibly relatable and often unspoken aspect of life. Stream the full album  HERE  and watch “The Maybe Man” music video  HERE .

The album includes five previously released tracks, including  “Yes I’m A Mess,” , which was just released and has already amassed 15 million global streams,  “The Dumb Song,”  which has over 20 million global streams and over one million views on YouTube,  “The DJ Is Crying For Help,”  which has nearly 20 million global streams and 4.5 million views on YouTube, and “I Won’t,” which they premiered on  The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon  and has amassed over 52 million global streams and nearly seven million views on YouTube. AJR also recently released  “God Is Really Real,”  which is written about their father, Gary Metzger, who tragically passed away earlier this year. The heartfelt song resonated in the hearts of listeners worldwide who had grown to love Gary as an unofficial fourth member of the band. See the band’s heartfelt letter to fans in response to their support  HERE.

“In your mid-to-late twenties, you start to think about your life. There’s endless potential, but it’s also scary because you don’t know who you’re going to be. This album examines that personal existential crisis and the prevalent question of, ‘Who am I?’” AJR share. “We’ve experienced a lot this past year and decided to write about all the serious issues you face as you get older in the most AJR-way we could.”

In celebration of the album, AJR will embark on The Maybe Man Tour next spring, a 43-city arena tour across the continent. Their first arena tour, promoted by Live Nation, will include stops at several legendary venues, including Boston’s TD Garden, Austin’s Moody Center, Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and AJR’s hometown arena, Madison Square Garden. The tour will kick off on April 2, 2024 in Norfolk, VA and will conclude on August 2, 2024 in Washington, D.C. You can watch the teaser  HERE  and find full routing is available below.

Tickets will be available starting with a Seated registration presale beginning Monday, November 13 at 9 a.m. CT through Thursday, November 16 at 10 p.m. local time. Fans can sign up to access presale tickets via Seated now at  ajrbrothers.com . Verizon will also offer customers an exclusive presale through Verizon Up. Verizon customers will have access to purchase presale tickets for select shows beginning Monday, November 13 at 9 a.m. CT through Thursday, November 16 at 10 p.m. local time - for more details visit  Verizon Up . The general on-sale will begin on Friday, November 17 at 9 a.m. local time at  ajrbrothers.com .

$1 for every ticket sold will go towards Planet Reimagined, a non-profit organization co-founded by Adam Met, that trains the climate leaders of the future with customized programs for action-researchers from around the world, teaching them how to combine thought and advocacy for measurable impact to fight the climate crisis and deliver fair solutions for people and the planet.

On the road, AJR have recently toured across Europe throughout the Summer. They ignited a multitude of high-profile stages, including Lollapalooza Berlin, Zurich Openair Festival, and Szieget Festival, and capped off the year with SEMA Fest in Las Vegas last weekend.

The trio continues to put up staggering numbers on their music, crossing over five billion in global streams and climbing. Additionally, they sold upwards of 350,000 tickets in the U.S. to their “OK Orchestra” World Tour, showcasing their biggest production yet and affirming them as one of the most consistently captivating and thrilling live acts. They brought the larger-than-life production to Australia and Europe as well. See clips from the OK Orchestra World Tour  here  &  here .

AJR make the kind of music that encourages you to keep going. For as much as their multi-dimensional soundscapes, theatrical delivery, and big screen-worthy vision provide an escape, the multi-platinum, chart-topping trio of brothers—Adam [vocals/bass], Jack [vocals/guitar], and Ryan Met [guitar/piano/vocals]—also manage to intimately empathize with listeners everywhere. The band constructed an inimitable and immersive world soundtracked by a truly alternative vision for pop. Beyond five billion streams and counting, the group notched a string of seismic smashes, including “Bang!” (3x-platinum) and “Weak” (3x-platinum), “Burn The House Down” (2x-platinum), and “100 Bad Days” (platinum), “Sober Up” (platinum), and “I’m Ready” (platinum). Following their platinum breakout album The Click [2017], the boys consecutively crashed the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 with Neotheater [2019] and OK Orchestra [2021]. Recently, their song “World’s Smallest Violin” had a resurgence online with over two million video creates on TikTok with over 10 billion combined views between the official sound, original sounds, and sped up versions.

Traveling around the globe with their own version of the Greatest Show on Earth, they’ve packed arenas on multiple continents, selling nearly one million tickets thus far. In addition to earning widespread acclaim, they’ve ignited late-night television and are composing the score for Harold & the Purple Crayon on Broadway. Their debut album for Mercury Records/Republic Records, The Maybe Man, might just be their most identifiable body of work yet. In true AJR fashion, they came up with a larger-than-life way to explain the existential crisis of growing up and also process and deal with their father’s passing. Enter The Maybe Man. The title character is “a big sad superhero who is always questioning who he is.” Like a giant out of your favorite fairy tale (remade in kickass 3-D), emotion hangs over his head, so it doesn’t have to hang over yours.

On the road, AJR have recently toured across Europe throughout the Summer. They ignited a multitude of high-profile stages, including Lollapalooza Berlin, Zurich Openair Festival, and Szieget Festival, and capped off the year with SEMA Fest in Las Vegas last weekend.

Today, AJR officially released their fifth studio album, The Maybe Man, via their own AJR Productions label and Mercury/Republic Records. Last night, the band appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for their first-ever late night couch conversation. You can watch AJR’s interview HERE and their performance of “Yes I’m A Mess” on the show HERE .

The album includes five previously released tracks, including “Yes I’m A Mess,” , which was just released and has already amassed 15M global streams, “The Dumb Song,” which has over 20M global streams and over 1M views on YouTube, “The DJ Is Crying For Help,” which has nearly 20M global streams and 4.5M views on YouTube, and “I Won’t,” which they premiered on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and has amassed over 52M global streams and nearly 7M views on Youtube.

This album examines that personal existential crisis and the prevalent question of, ‘Who am I?’” AJR share . “We’ve experienced a lot this past year and decided to write about all the serious issues you face as you get older in the most AJR-way we could.”

The trio continues to put up staggering numbers on their music, crossing over five billion in global streams and climbing. Additionally, they sold upwards of 350,000 tickets in the US to their “OK Orchestra” World Tour, showcasing their biggest production yet and affirming them as one of the most consistently captivating and thrilling live acts. They brought the larger-than-life production to Australia and Europe as well. See clips from the OK Orchestra World Tour here & here .

AJR make the kind of music that encourages you to keep going. For as much as their multi-dimensional soundscapes, theatrical delivery, and big screen-worthy vision provide an escape, the multi-platinum, chart-topping trio of brothers – Adam [vocals/bass], Jack [vocals/guitar], and Ryan Met [guitar/piano/vocals] – also manage to intimately empathize with listeners everywhere.

Please come back to Edmonton!!

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing AJR at kdays in Edmonton, AB, Canada years ago, and ever since I have been dreaming of seeing them live again! Absolutely incredible energy filled show. To this day, one of the best concerts I have ever seen and I go to concerts regularly!! Pleeeeeeeease come back to Edmonton!!

Literally amazing

Their stage presence is just insane and they have soooo much energy!!!

Amazing show! Highly recommend the VIP package

AJR puts on a fantastic show, along with the opening act.

Best Night of my Life

I absolutely love AJR, so I went in with high expectations but they exceeded them and then some. This was the most amazing concert I have ever been to. AJR is such a great band, the songs sounded even better than the recordings, and Jacks dancing was unreal. Went to the meet and greet and let me tell you these guys are awesome people both on stage and off stage. When Jack spoke to the crowd about their struggles to make it in music, I think everyone shed a tear. It was a truly beautiful moment between the band and their fans and made it all a hundred percent worth it. The openers, Hundred Handed and Max both rocked it on stage and got the crowd going. It was a complete rave, everyone knew every single word and dancing was a must. What can I say, The Click Tour is jaw-droppingly amazing. We all love you AJR!

How to buy Taylor Swift tickets: Eras Tour dates and prices compared

When you buy through our links, Business Insider may earn an affiliate commission. Learn more

Taylor Swift's reign continues as she ramps up for the next leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter will kick off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her recent Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift will release her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, but it's unknown if any of those songs will make their way to the tour setlist.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options . You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resume on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows, Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

The lowest prices for most shows are around $450 to $1,000. On Vivid Seats , the cheapest tickets for these dates go for $549 and $683, respectively.

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,045 (Vancouver, Canada, on December 8) to $2,081 (Miami, Florida, on October 19). ELO

Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced their final tour, dubbed “The Over and Out Tour.” The 27-date excursion, produced by Live Nation, will kick off in Palm Desert, CA on August 24 and travel across North America before concluding in Los Angeles on October 25.

Artist presale will begin on Wednesday, March 20 at 10 a.m. local time and the general onsale will start on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Exclusive VIP experiences will be available March 20 at 10am local.

“A brilliant catalog returns to U.S. stages and gives the strings-starved people what they want,” Variety wrote of the group’s previous tour in 2018. “The ELO catalog speaks for itself… and it was a glorious thing to behold… in a 19-song set that reprised the closest thing to truly Beatle-level pop the 1970s had to offer.”

ELO — originally named the Electric Light Orchestra — was formed in 1972 by singers/multi-instrumentalists Lynne and Roy Wood and drummer Bev Bevan from the ashes of legendary rockers the Move, with the intention of fusing rock music with classical instruments. Wood left after one album and Lynne assumed leadership of the group — taking on lead singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist roles — which went on to score such massive hits through the ‘70s as “Evil Woman,” “Strange Magic,” “Living Thing,” “Can’t Get It Out of My Head,” “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Telephone Line,” “Don’t Bring Me Down” and more.

The group officially disbanded in 1986 and Lynne went on to a solo career and extensive production work with George Harrison, Tom, Petty, Roy Orbison, Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Bryan Adams and even the Beatles’ two new songs on their 1995-96 “Anthology” series. With Harrison, Petty, Orbison and Bob Dylan, he was also a member of the 1980s all-star group the Traveling Wilburys. Lynne is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
