The Renaissance has begun. Beyoncé has stayed incredibly quiet since releasing her critically lauded seventh studio album last summer and now, devout members of the Beyhive are finally able to witness songs such as “Break My Soul,” “Cuff It,” and “Virgo’s Groove” live. Bey opened her first show in a custom shimmering, metallic suit courtesy of Alexander McQueen while she thanked everyone in the crowd who traveled from all over the world to be with her for the tour’s opening night. “You could have been anywhere in the world tonight, but you choose to be here with me,” she said to the crowd after taking the stage. It’s safe to say fans across the world will continue to show up for Queen Bey as the tour progresses from now until the fall. Ahead, see all of the photos from the ongoing Renaissance World Tour.

Beyoncé

Beyoncé ‘s Renaissance World Tour kicked off in Stockholm on Wednesday (May 10). The star gave a dazzling, three-hour showcase of tracks from recently released LP Renaissance , iconic hits from her solo career across two decades, and even delighted fans with a few songs from her time in Destiny’s Child.

In addition to the hits, the fashion and stage design were at the forefront of the show, with Bey wearing several custom ensembles from luxury fashion houses. She started off the night in a custom Alexander McQueen full bodysuit, and was later accompanied on stage by two robotic arms that formed a metal cube around her body when “Cozy” rolled around in the setlist, following her movements around the stage as she hit her choreography in a futuristic silver bodysuit custom designed by Courrèges.

The concert concluded with a House of Renaissance vogue dance-off and Beyoncé flying over the stadium in a shimmering Coperni ensemble with help from suspension cords.

The Renaissance World Tour will continue through Europe until July 9, with stops in London, Barcelona, Brussels and Amsterdam before heading to Toronto for a pair of dates at Rogers Centre.

Beyoncé's 'renaissance' tour remixes her archive for an intergalactic future.

In a concert that spans almost three hours, featuring robots, tanks, flying horses and maximalist filmmaking, Beyoncé remixed and embedded the entire 16-track Renaissance album into her full musical archive.

After almost a year of releasing no accompanying videos or performing any of its songs live, last night in Stockholm, Beyoncé finally unveiled what she meant by Renaissance . Not simply a masterpiece of production, vocal and dance futurism, the album was finally unveiled as a multi-dimensional planet in which fans are to be immersed and fully transformed as she has been. In a concert that spans almost three hours — featuring robots, tanks, flying horses and maximalist filmmaking — Beyoncé remixed and embedded the entire 16-track Renaissance album into her full musical archive, crafting a 37-song setlist that brilliantly merges the earthly R&B from where she came and the intergalactic future in which she and her music have already been living.

Stockholm wasn't quite prepared for the pop culture spectacle that descended on the city last night, with fans, industry insiders and critics flying in from all over the world to witness the opening night performance. Public transportation to the city's 60,000 capacity soccer stadium was snarled and the lines to enter the arena equally exhausting. But the anticipation was palpable as the lights finally dimmed to restart an ambient recording of thundering clouds after what may have been a technical glitch.

On the massive film screen that spans the entire stage, clouds began to float across blue skies as Beyoncé, dressed in an Alexander McQueen suit, rose from below at the show's start. Anyone expecting a night at the club got their first surprise here. Instead of the slithering sounds and hard edges of Renaissance 's house-infused opening, it was vintage, R&B Beyoncé: the title song from her debut 2003 album Dangerously in Love . Opening with the warmly intoned lyrics, "I love you," she welcomed the audience with a huge smile and a series of exquisite ballads, including her cover of Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" and the lush longing of "1+1" from her 2011 album 4 .

Then she departed the stage, and the technical wizardry and cinematic imagery made it immediately evident that the preceding setlist of analog, undiluted performances was proof that a nostalgic past is prelude. Right before the lush electronic soundscapes of the new album's opening and the words "these motherf****** ain't stopping me," the title Renaissance appeared in glittering silver across the entire span of the screen followed by an IMAX-scale montage of intergalactic travel, hyperspeed portals and a filmed Beyoncé in robotic shields marching toward the audience. "Come with me through my portal to the House of Chrome," she said, "where I'm reborn." The visual landscapes of space and chrome referenced a combination of Fritz Lang's Metropolis , Tron , The Matrix , Ex Machina and even Michael and Janet Jackson's video for "Scream."

Revolutionary Fun: Why we can't stop talking about Beyoncé's 'Renaissance'

Editors' Picks

Revolutionary fun: why we can't stop talking about beyoncé's 'renaissance'.

There was, of course, also: fierce dancing, ballroom showdowns and the vocal brilliance featured in the album's sexually uninhibited ode to Black queer culture grounded in '70s and '80s dance genres like house and disco. But the Beyoncé on stage and screen here presented herself as an artist flying across time and space. When it seemed Renaissance would be played in full without skips — the album is so impeccably sequenced — the setlist swerves and surprises, with samples of Britney Spears' "Toxic," Madonna's "Vogue" and of course Beyoncé's own extraordinary catalog remixed to euphoric reactions. The bass drops of "Yoncé," from the self-titled fifth album, transition into the orchestral drum lines of "Family Feud" with Jay-Z before elevating the audience into "Church Girl" from Renaissance . Just as her on-stage character here has moved through a portal to be rebooted as a chrome Athena riding rockets across time, Beyoncé the musician was uploading, updating and renewing her artistic past in real-time before the audience. Each of her albums becomes part of the Renaissance , and songs from each are threaded, integrated and brought into the future with her.

There are also odes to previous visual signatures. Where the album interpolates, samples and credits countless pioneers of dance and queer culture, the reference library for the Renaissance tour is herself. The wide-brimmed Southern hats of "Formation" become chrome discs from outer space in this era, and the sultry choreography from "Partition" is performed on what is quite literally a silver tank that drives onto the stage ramp extending into the stadium's "Club Renaissance" section of the audience. The spirit of the show is regeneration and revival, a display of extraordinary confidence. Functioning robotic arms also constantly dressing, re-assembling and rebooting Beyoncé between the show's chapter breaks to underscore the constant sense of movement and hyperspeed updates.

The fashion industry's inevitable metabolism, dissection and celebration of what she and her team have achieved here is bound to be one of the tour's greatest triumphs. Fashion is intricately woven into the show's narrative, as is Beyoncé's physicality and undeniable sensuality. As the show shifts from deep house into the album's lush, R&B center — "Plastic Off the Sofa," "Virgo's Groove" — Beyoncé emerges in a literal shell on a bed of silver cushions, wearing a gold bodysuit by the luxury brand Loewe, covered in images of black arms and hands. She, too, is wearing long black gloves with red nails that extend the images across her body, and different versions of that same gold suit are worn by her dancers. As the mood shifts from the intergalactic to the bedroom, the language of assembly, embrace and touch continues in more human, Earthly forms.

When I first heard the album, I wondered how such a layered album of soundscapes would sound as a live experience. As is to be expected, seamless and possible delivered by Beyoncé in live, human form. In the vocal pyrotechnics of the most challenging sections of songs like "Heated" and "Virgo's Groove," Beyoncé embodies the superpowered musical machine the tour imagery presents, capable of tangible feats of excellence. With the show's breathless momentum and expansive ambitions, at one point even Beyoncé joked to say, "so many songs, but I'm giving you them all." And it certainly felt like she did.

At the first stop of her "Renaissance" tour in Stockholm, the pop star's visual landscape referenced a combination of Fritz Lang's Metropolis , Tron , The Matrix and more.

It wasn't long after the performance that all the images, videos and commentariat from the show flooded social media. After the drought, a feast has arrived. Even the internet demands since last July to "release the visuals" are hilariously referenced in the ballroom narration of the show. But if I could make one recommendation to anyone fortunate enough to be attending one of the upcoming dates in Europe and North America, there is value in retaining a visual blackout. Nothing on phone screens can compare to the immersive three-dimensions of design, music, fashion and storytelling Beyoncé has crafted. The Renaissance only occurs in her now globally traveling court — a cyborg palace of metallics and lavish textiles of sound that must be experienced in person. The show is a triumph of live performance and designed for ticketed admission.

Throughout the show, I was curious about one aspect of the album in particular — "Reneigh," as fans have named Beyoncé's glittering, disco ball-mirrored steed from the album's cover. How and when would the horse finally make its appearance? As the show reached its conclusion, Beyoncé came back center stage astride Reneigh. As her guards and technicians braced them each to a harness waiting above, the platform gradually rose into the crowd and Beyoncé rode Reneigh above the crowd as she sang "Summer Renaissance." It took me walking around Stockholm earlier in the day — amid all its medieval equine statuary of dead European kings — to finally unlock the meaning of Reneigh and the album's title. The future belongs to an American monarch and the gates to her undeniable renaissance have finally opened.

Queen Bey continues to slay, but who's surprised?

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

Beyoncé is currently touring the globe on The Renaissance World Tour. Named after her current studio album, Renaissance, the artist's ninth concert tour kicked off on May 10, 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden. One thing that's stayed the same throughout Beyonce's tours is her commitment to the wardrobe.

The fashion on the Renaissance tour has been particularly memorable, often the topic of conversation on TikTok and even, in the case of Beyonce's bed dress, the subject of many viral memes. Travelling the globe, Beyoncé has performed in countries like the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Belgium before beginning the US leg of the tour in July that includes over 25 stops. Her jaw-dropping outfits have even inspired attendees to break out their Renaissance-inspired attire.

Kicking off the Renaissance Tour

beyoncé renaissance world tour opening night stockholm

Beyoncé kicked off the first night of her Renaissance tour in Stockholm, Sweden looking radiant in a metallic body suit as she was joined by a team of back up dancers in compliment shimmery two-piece looks.

Destiny's Child-Inspired Camo

beyoncé renaissance world tour toronto

Reminiscent of the camouflage looks Beyoncé and the women of Destiny's Child wore in the 2004 "Soldier" music video, this camo body suit made its debut during the tour's Toronto stop. Covering the leotard is a custom Adidas x Ivy Park sequin jacket from Beyoncé's own clothing line. To top it all off (literally) Beyoncé paired the look with a statement hat.

Gucci Corset

beyoncé renaissance world tour amsterdam

Never missing an opportunity to sparkle, Beyoncé looked stunning in this custom Gucci bodysuit with a fitted black corset dripping in sparkles and shimmering long sleeves. Beyoncé accentuated the look with custom Tiffany & Co. sunglasses.

Head to Toe Red

beyoncé renaissance world tour amsterdam

Serving no shortage of hat moments, Beyoncé looked fierce in an all red ensemble as she graced the stage in Amsterdam. From the over-the-knee boots to the long sleeve jacket-style body suit, this all-rouge ensemble is the fire emoji come to life.

Sparkling Red Mini Dress

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

No stranger to the thigh-high red boot look, Beyoncé looked breathtaking in another red ensemble, this time with a deeper, sultry shade of red. Replacing the red bodysuit with a short and sweet sparkle dress created a flirtatious, sophisticated look as she elegantly sat on top of a piano.

Above-the-Knee Boots are In

beyoncé renaissance world tour amsterdam

Known for her iconic diva fan, the Renaissance tour did not disappoint. While Beyoncé's voluminous hair flip may immediately catch your eye, take a second glance and you'll see that yet again she is rocking her signature above-the-knee boot.

Short Shorts and Fur Coats

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

Not your typical fashion pairing, Beyoncé's dancers rocked denim shorts with cropped white fur coats. Beyoncé also got in on the long-sleeve, hot pant style in a sparkling one-piece with net-like long sleeves. And to no surprise, Beyoncé's look is accessorized with a pair of over-the-knee heeled boots.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

Once you get past the "awww!" factor of Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy performing at the concert (how is she 11 already?), you'll start focusing on the fiery red jumpsuits, including the one Blue Ivy wore while performing full choreography to the viral track "My Power."

All the Patterns

beyoncé renaissance world tour warsaw

Beyoncé's not the only one rocking eye-catching fashion on tour. Her back-up dancers are serving looks at every turn and these red and black bodysuits are no exception. The vibrant red polka dots against the deep black background of the bodysuit creates a stark visual contrast for a dramatic look.

The Summer of Barbie

beyoncé renaissance world tour warsaw

Whether it's intentional or not, Beyoncé's all hot pink ensemble is a Barbiecore moment. Wearing a curve-hugging dress with halter neckline, Beyoncé was a real-life Barbie up on stage. Surrounding the queen was her crew of dancers who rocked hot pink cropped athleisure looks from Beyoncé's Ivy Park line.

Beyoncé gets "Cozy"

beyoncé renaissance world tour toronto

A clever ending to Beyoncé's performance of her song, "Cozy," a metallic bed set-up matching the singer's reflective outfit was brought out on stage for Queen Bey to wrap herself up, close her eyes and get literally cozy.

A Disco Ball Come to Life

beyoncé renaissance world tour toronto

Is there any better way to describe this robotic-looking body suit than "disco-ball-meets-Tin Man?" At this point, do we even need to mention the over-the-knee boots? What would a Renaissance Tour look be without them?

Keep Your Hands Off Beyoncé

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

Extraordinary as always, Beyoncé rocked a flesh-colored full body suit adorned with sparkles. Accentuating the body suit are long, black gloves with bright red fingernails symbolizing hands all over Beyoncé. To complete the look, Beyoncé wore long black gloves.

A Real Life Angel

beyoncé renaissance world tour amsterdam

Like an angel here on earth, Beyoncé wore this ethereal number while performing a rendition of Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High." The ethereal metallic dress with iridescent cape sleeves give the illusion of angel wings, especially in the fan-created wind.

The Renaissance Album Cover Come to Life

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

If you've seen the cover of Beyoncé's latest album, you may remember Beyoncé, adorned in sequin string lingerie, sitting on a holographic horse. As the prominent Renaissance imagery, the art came to life on tour in the form of Beyoncé descending from the ceiling to sit upon a shimmering horse covered in pieces of a disco ball.

Hail the Queen Bee

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

Putting a literal spin on her title of "Queen Bey," the leader of the Bey Hive fandom wore a full bee ensemble. With a black and yellow body suit and stinger headpiece design from Mugler by Casey Cadwallader, the look of course was completed with an over-the-knee boot.

Rainbow Holograms

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

Looking much like the iridescent rainbow hues of a gas leak that sparkle in the sun, Beyoncé and her backup dancers were shining. The singer's colorful mini dress was accentuated by holographic boots that added a further pop of color to complete the vibrant look.

Blue Elegance

beyoncé renaissance world tour london

Designed by Roksanda Ilinčić, this elegant blue gown made an appearance during the opening night of Beyoncé's London leg of the tour. This full coverage, floor-length gown even extends over the fingertips with blue gloves and a voluminous skirt to give the dress extra dimension.

It was a star-studded night on the red — or, silver — carpet on Saturday night for the world premiere of “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.” Though Beyoncé did not walk the carpet herself, she slipped into the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills to watch the film with friends, family and members of Destiny’s Child.

The dress code for the event was described as “cozy opulence,” and Beyoncé shined in silver Versace.

Destiny’s Child fans were in for a treat as members Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson were all in attendance.

Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Gallery

It should cost a billion to look this good, and judging by every stunning look worn by Beyoncé on her worldwide Renaissance Tour , it just might have.

The stylish stunner turned heads all Summer ’23 with her immaculate stage show, impressing audiences with grande production, powerful vocals, and a wardrobe made to dazzle beneath disco lights. Representing for both fashion ‘s biggest names and lesser-known artisans, to call the collection impressive would be an understatement. Bey and her fellow performers donned over 140 looks as she journeyed from Sweden (where she debuted the unforgettable LOEWE bodysuit) to Kansas City, where she wrapped up the tour this weekend ahead of announcing a new film based on the historic trek.

Thanks to the hard work of stylists Shiona Turini, Julia Sarr-Jamois, Karen Langley and KJ Moody, Beyoncé was able to showcase a new level of style that felt both fresh and familiar, citing classic looks from music videos and past performances, all while requiring the absolute best from fashion houses like Jimmy Choo , Fendi, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Pucci, Gucci, and more. Bey was also certain to highlight Black designers , including Feben, Maximilian Davis for Ferragamo, Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, Ibrahim Kamara for Off-White, LaQuan Smith and her own Ivy Park creations.

Every look surely involved high attention to detail to execute, making it almost impossible to analyze and rank so many amazing ‘fits. Still, we did exactly that, ranking these custom masterpieces from good-to-absolutely breathtaking.

Check out VIBE ‘s ranking of every single costume Beyoncé wore during her Renaissance World Tour below.

See Beyoncé’s best looks from her haute couture-rich Renaissance tour

I t’s not the diamonds or the pearls that make Beyoncé that girl, but fashion is a critical part of what’s made her Renaissance World Tour unforgettable.

In celebration of her seventh album of the same name, Beyoncé’s first solo tour in seven years featured a wardrobe fit for a queen. With many of the looks switching out from venue to venue — and some specific to particular cities on the tour — it also moonlighted as a traveling fashion show, keeping fans on their toes for whatever Beyoncé and her team of stylists had up their sleeves (or opera gloves) next.

This “Renaissance” era in Beyoncé’s music is about unbridled joy, self-empowerment, freedom in love, movement and identity — be it racial, sexual or gender — and the expression of these journeys through disco and futurism.

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram in 2022. “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom.”

This message — and the creation of community, with attendees sporting their own “Renaissance couture” to fit the tour’s theme — translated sartorially, too.

When developing the tour wardrobe, “Beyoncé and her team talked about a sci-fi disco, like a gigantic party in another galaxy or space,” said fashion designer Iris van Herpen, who created one look for the tour. “I love designing with the concepts of sci-fi as it gives creative freedom to travel time and space. For me, during her Renaissance tour she is Queen B Beyond, a timeless queen that moves in a dazzling constellation.”

“This ethereal and futurist femininity complements and extends her other looks in the tour that beautifully highlight other aspects of feminine empowerment,” van Herpen added.

Designer David Koma was “particularly excited to receive the call for the world tour because I knew it would be an incredible performance,” he said, calling the tour “an iconic pop culture moment I would be so proud to be a part of.”

“It feels like (a) once in a lifetime experience that every attendee will remember forever,” Koma, who has collaborated with Beyoncé for over a decade, told CNN via email.

Here are some of the best Renaissance tour looks, which fans will be able to see even more of upon the release of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” in theaters December 1.

‘It should cost a billion to look this good’

For the tour’s opening night in Stockholm, Beyoncé stepped into her “House of Chrome” wearing a custom Alexander McQueen bodysuit featuring thousands of silver bugle beads and crystals hand-embroidered on a black tulle base.

For the final stop of the tour in Kansas City, Missouri, meanwhile, she opened the show in a bustier dress embroidered with thousands of rhinestones, paired with black opera gloves.

André Courrèges was one of the instrumental designers of space-inspired, intergalactic fashion of the ‘60s, and critical in defining the “retro-futurism” aesthetic. Fittingly, Beyoncé wore a custom silver Courrèges leotard with cutouts for several performances of “Alien Superstar.”

She opened the first of three London tour stops in a custom full-body cobalt blue gown from the London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic, similar to pieces from Ilincic’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection.

One of the most iconic looks of the tour was a custom gold Loewe bodysuit with hand motifs from the house’s Fall-Winter 2022 runway, which appear like an illusion in tandem with Beyoncé and her backing dancers’ movements.

In collaboration with tour stylist Shiona Turini, Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson designed a series of looks “inspired by the escapist joy” of “Renaissance,” playing on sculptural forms and body illusion and blending “futuristic concepts with theatrical, disco-era aesthetics,” according to Loewe’s website .

In Amsterdam, Beyoncé wore a custom black corseted Gucci leotard with strands of crystals crisscrossing the bodice, atop sheer mesh with rhinestone detailing. She paired the look with a wide-brimmed, metallic silver hat — and a pair of ornate sunglasses.

The custom Mugler bee outfit Beyoncé often wore while performing “America Has a Problem” referenced the house’s Spring-Summer 1997 “Les Insects” collection . Designed by Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader and styled by Turini, the look pays homage to Beyoncé’s “queen bee” persona while also contributing to the otherworldly feel of much of the tour’s fashions.

In LA, Beyoncé wore another intricate Mugler piece: a strappy silver bodysuit designed by Cadwallader and styled by Turini.

As Beyoncé floated around the arena during the encore performance, “Summer Renaissance,” at her premiere show, so did her custom Coperni ensemble, which was inspired by a look from the brand’s Fall-Winter 2023 collection.

“She wore an embroidered cape, bodysuit and gloves,” Coperni said on Instagram . The outfit, created from silver laser-cut feathers, required hundreds of hours of hand stitching.

In New York City, the singer opened the “Renaissance” act of the show in a custom Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini “bodysuit featuring a sculpted bullet bra adorned with a dazzling decoration of degradè Swarovski crystals,” according to the brand’s Instagram . She accessorized with thigh-high silver boots and an apricot eco-kidassia coat.

For her June 18 Amsterdam show, Beyoncé’s own work was among that of Black designers showcased to celebrate Juneteenth. She donned pieces from her Ivy Park fashion line.

“I was so engulfed in all things RENAISSANCE and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie and the disco era,” the star said in an Instagram post . “I wanted to do a modern twist using the signature IVY PARK neon and bring disco to the beach in this swim collection.”

In Kansas City, she also wore an all-black version of the Ivy Park design.

This custom Iris van Herpen look “was a complex combination of high-tech and craftsmanship. A total of 980 falcate-shapes were 3D constructed by casting silver-marbled silicone into mirrored laser-cut outlines,” van Herpen told CNN. “I designed this look to bring a futuristic softness and otherworldliness to her powerful performance. I wanted her look to be an intense and hypnotizing experience on stage.”

Styled by tour stylist K.J. Moody, this custom David Koma “mother of pearl” print mesh bodysuit and asymmetric skirt was paired with iridescent embossed knee-high cowboy boots.

“I wanted to create a memorable and striking look but with comfort and movement as a priority,” Koma said. “We created pieces that were visually delicate but also durable — something that can be worn for multiple nights of the tour.”

Koma felt like part of his inspiration for the print — Dr. Sylvia Earle, a trailblazing marine biologist — “subconsciously resonated with Beyoncé and the empowerment nature of her music and the tour,” he added.

Beyoncé opened her Chicago show in a custom Schiaparelli minidress designed by Daniel Roseberry and made of black silk faille, with “a floor-length stole covered in hand-embroidered silver stones and leaf feathers,” according to Schiaparelli .

For a California tour date, Beyoncé wore a pink Gucci bustier look with pleated detailing accentuated by crystal embellishments. The look featured bedazzled black velvet opera gloves, matching boots — and binoculars (not pictured).

The camo Ivy Park looks worn for several shows served well the soldier-like arc of the set list, during which Beyoncé and her dancers performed songs including “Formation,” “Diva,” “Run the World (Girls)” and “Black Parade,” a song the singer released to mark Juneteenth in 2020.

Also paired with a pair of thigh-high camo boots, this custom casual jersey look is from Ivy Park’s “Park Trail” collection . With colors that appear to salute Beyoncé’s sister Solange and the Lakers NBA team — “Sol Ange” (solar orange) and “Lake-Her” (legacy indigo), respectively — the collection “is inspired by the resilience of the outdoors, the spirit of the streets, and the possibilities of the future,” according to Adidas .

This full-body Richard Quinn bodysuit featured a peplum-style bodice and a sculptural, dome-like hat that obscured everything except for Beyoncé’s eyes, with large rhinestone details throughout.

For an opening look during a tour date in Atlanta, Beyoncé wore a neon green gown from Indian designer Gaurav Gupta’s “Hiranyagarbha” collection, presented at Paris Haute Couture Week in July.

“She shines in ethereal electricity, chiffon drapes of Athena with orbiting satin sculpting,” Gupta said on Instagram .

For a show in Warsaw, she stunned in a custom Elie Saab haute couture gown styled by Karen Langley and Tara Greville.

And for her Minneapolis show, Beyoncé hit the stage wearing head-to-toe custom Acne Studios, including metallic pink shorts and a bustier, oversized coat and sparkling thigh-high boots.

This custom Balmain look by Olivier Rousteing was one of many silver ensembles Beyoncé donned during the tour. It featured sequins, a dramatic clam shell-like bodice and a hip-level slit. The star released a Renaissance couture collection with the label in March; each look translating a song from the album into fashion.

For the assertive soldier-themed arc of another show, Beyoncé donned a black patent and fishnet look by Peter Dundas, also styled by Moody.

This custom Off-White look, featured on the poster of Beyoncé’s upcoming film, included a bustier-style bodysuit encrusted in 40,000 red hotfix crystals designed by Ibrahim Kamara, the label’s art and image director.

A second all-red Off-White look featured a top hat, bomber jacket and shorter silhouette.

Every Look From Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, From Custom Catsuits to Disco-Inspired Couture

Beyonce performs wearing Balenciaga

Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour began with a bang in Stockholm and it hasn't slowed down since. The highly-anticipated show has featured inventive set design, a decades-spanning setlist, and a plethora of standout style moments—from to archival pieces to custom looks and nearly everything in between. The star’s wardrobe has combined her signature style with the visual ethos of the album Renaissance ( think lots of sequins, silver, catsuits, and the occasional bee-inspired look). Beyoncé has also been wearing looks from brands specific to the city she’s performing in—for the UK leg of her tour she wore picks from the London-based Mary Katrantzou and Robert Wun while in Marseille, France she opted for a look by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.

In an earnings call on Wednesday, AMC CEO Adam Aron said that "literally all" of the company's 11.5% revenue growth in Q4 of 2023 was from the pop superstars' concert films documenting the wildly popular "Eras" and "Renaissance" tours.

"This is a stunning result, given that neither of these films were on anyone's drawing board until midyear and that they were the first movies ever distributed by AMC in our entire 103-year history," Aron said during the call. "What a triumph for our company. To that end, it is no surprise that our praise for Taylor Swift and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has no limit."

Total revenues for the quarter reached $1,104.4 million, compared to $990.9 million for the same period in 2022, according to AMC's earnings report .

Aron said that Swift's film alone raked in $275 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing concert film and the highest-grossing documentary of all time.

For the full year of 2023, AMC's attendance shot up 19% compared to the year before; at over $4.8 billion, its annual revenue increased by 23%, Aron added.

And it wasn't just AMC that benefited from "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" and "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé." Aron said that the concert films made up one-ninth of Q4 box office earnings across the entire industry domestically.

AMC's phones are now "ringing off the hook," Aron said, from other artists clamoring to get their concert films on the big screen in 2024 and 2025.

The Swifties will remember this moment.

When Jason Kelce announced his NFL retirement on Monday after 13 seasons with the Eagles, fans of Taylor Swift couldn’t help but speculate if the older brother of the pop star’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, dropped the names of her song in his speech.

“I found my career being fulfilled in the City of Brotherly Love, I knew that relationship all too well,” an emotional Kelce, 36, said during his speech.

Swifties then took to social media to call out the apparent reference to Swift’s 2012 song, “All Too Well.”

“Jason Kelce just quoted ‘All too well’ in his retirement speech. Love it so much,” one X user posted .

Another wrote , “Jaisn [sic] made a all too well reference im not ok.”

The nods didn’t stop there, with Kelce stating , “If you go above and beyond for this city, you will be rewarded above your wildest dreams.”

Swift’s song “Wildest Dreams” is featured on her 2014 album, “1989,” which was re-released in October as “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”

“Not Jason Kelce adding ‘all too well’ and ‘wildest dreams’ to his retirement speech he loves us,” a separate X user wrote Monday .

One fan exclaimed , “WILDEST DREAMS!!? Jason you’re giving the swifties a heart attack. We love you so much!! Enjoy retirement.”

A sixth-round pick out of Cincinnati in 2011, Kelce spent his entire NFL career with the Eagles, with whom he won the Super Bowl in February 2018.

Although the Eagles came up short in the playoffs this year — an embarrassing 32-9 loss to the Buccaneers in January’s wild-card round — Kelce enjoyed Travis’ postseason run with the Chiefs.

He and wife Kylie watched the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2024 win last month from an Allegiant Stadium suite in Las Vegas with Swift, 34.

Travis, now a three-time Super Bowl champion, attended Kelce’s press conference Monday in Philadelphia, where he held back tears in the front row with his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and sister-in-law Kylie.

It’s unclear if Travis will head to Singapore later this week as Swift continues the international leg of her blockbuster Eras Tour.

The couple has been dating since last summer.
