Historical Tours
Historical Tours of the University of Virginia are offered daily when courses are in session , with the exception of home football game days . These tours cover the original University and Lawn area, and they begin from the Lower East Oval Room of the Rotunda, Sunday-Friday at 11 am, and Saturday at 11am and 3pm. Additionally, we offer a History of African Americans tour each Sunday at 3pm. No reservation is necessary for these tours.

Thank you for your interest in visiting Virginia Tech! Click on the date below that works best for your schedule to see available sessions. Visit Format: Our visit includes a 30-minute information session and a 60-minute campus walking tour. Schedule: Registration for daily visits is available through May. We offer weekday visits when classes are in session, as well as some Saturdays. Note: There is a separate registration for the high volume spring break weeks of March 25-29 and April 1-4.
