Mike was great - helpful & informative, thorough in explaining equipment operation and very aware that all in our party enjoyed the day. Highly recommend!

We try to book a Segway tour whenever we're traveling, as it's a great way to see a city and experience the joy of riding a Segway. It's often the highlight of the trip, and this experience was no different. CPT Segway, aka Mike, was a fun, informed guide who ensured we had a safe, entertaining time.

Pre purchased a segway tour for us and a couple we brought to Chicago for the weekend. On Saturday morning we arrived at the designated location and waited past our departure time. No one from Segway Experience of Chicago showed up at the location. We called the corporate office and they were very nice and informed us they need to find our guide. They called back 15 minutes later and told us they were unsuccessful and we would get a full refund and coupons to come another time on them. Being reasonable we thought thy handled the situation the best they could. We did receive the credit for the tour they did not show up for but never received any coupons for a future tour. I would imagine they do a good job when there is a tour, when there is no tour, you are left with some very disappointed guests who traveled a long way to end up standing on a street corner.

The fellas at Segway Experience has something very special going on in Chicago. Honestly, this was my first experience ever being on a segway and the team at Segway Experience could not have been more welcoming, patient and helpful. I was looking for a very unique experience in the city of Chicago, I really only wanted to try two things kayaking was one and a segway experience was the second. There are a few options out there to Segway, in fact, I originally signed up for another segway company but was canceled at the last minute. I turned to Google to find an alternative and Segway Experience seemed to be the most convenient to where I was and cost-effective. Mike made the experience a phenomenal one. He was both professional and knowledgeable. I might add he is very funny and his insights are engaging. I can't say enough positive things about my experience and I'll definitely recommend Segway Experience to my friends and family.

We had a wonderful Segway tour of downtown Chicago! Mike was a wonderful (& entertaining!) tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites -- and very laid back! Make this 2-hour tour a part of your Chicago visit!

Captain Segway gave my family and I and outstanding tour! As visitors to Chicago we couldn't decide what our favorite adventure was between this and the Ledge at the Sear's Tower. We especially enjoy the balance of fun riding sprinkled with local history. I highly recommend this tour as they were the only operator I could find that would cancel if it rained...which we all appreciated. Thanks for a fun time!

I had purchased a groupon for a two (2) hour segway tour through this company. From the time of the booking, which was very painless. The location of the office is very easy to find. Casey, tour guide, had made sure all of the attendee had knew how to operate the segway before heading out for the tour. Casey was very patient when he was training. For the next two hours, he was very informative and humorous. He took us through Grant Park where I've never been through before. I would recommend Casey and Segway Experience of Chicago.

I just went on a 2 hour segway tour with Mina H, and it was a blast! I didn't feel like the Paul Blart dork I thought I'd feel like: the segways were really cool! It was easy to get the hang of them after some great instruction from Richie. They came with backpacks to carry our things. Richie was a great guide - personable, funny, and easy on the eyes (oh, and has great taste in music). He gave us cool facts about city landmarks, as well as humorous stories from his own experiences. This was a great tour, and I would totally do another - maybe their Chicago lights tour! Highly recommended!

I hate to give just an OK review but I've been on several Segway tours in Chicago with other vendors since we like to offer this adventure to friends who visit from out of town. And comparatively this one has lots of room for improvement. Perhaps it was because we were there on a Sunday afternoon during the end of their summer season when they're scaling back but it just didn't measure up to others. First of all the Segways themselves look well used and beaten up. In fact, my friend was given one with completely bald tires. I made certain that was exchanged but come on. How about a little maintenance? I've been on Segways that we're gleaming like new and these looked pitiful. Our 2 friends and two others who joined the group had never been on a Segway before. Our tour guide seemed to rush through instructions and making sure everyone was comfortable. Other tours I've been on had far more personal instruction in preparation for taking off for two hours. On this tour, 2 of the 6 people fell during the tour. I regard that as a fail. One I believe was the result of a poorly chosen route which included going up a cobblestone studded grassy hillside. Bad decision. Our guide tended to talk really fast and was tough to hear and understand. As a result, I don't think the experience was as good as it could have been for those looking for a memorable Chicago experience. Perhaps it was just a bad combination of circumstances but this tour was memorable for the wrong reasons. Our friends still had fun but I think I'll go back to one of the other tour companies for our next visitors.

We had good time. Nice tour with a nice tour guide. Book ahead of time. And check weather( we had a very foggy day). Taco place by the stadium with one of the stops. Was really good, said the kidz.

Perhaps one of the most unerringly popular tours in Chicago is this small group Segway experience. During roughly two hours, you will be able to roll along the banks of Lake Michigan and around the leafy, 57-acre plot of lakeside land south of Grant Park known as Museum Campus. When you’re getting around by Segway it’s amazing how much of Chicago you can see in a short space of time. During 90 minutes on this guided tour of the Windy City you will travel southwards from Millennium Park, where you’ll find the famous Cloud Gate sculpture, towards Museum Campus. You’ll pass through Grant Park along the way, keeping to broad, carless pathways and occasionally getting right up to the shoreline of mighty Lake Michigan.
