Jonas Brothers

Five albums. one night., olympic hall.

Jonas Brothers

The concert has been postponed from 03.06. to 20.09.2024.

More than 20 million albums sold, a good two dozen hits in the Billboard Hot 100, plus three consecutive No. 1s in the US album charts - and, of course, several awards and nominations. The Jonas Brothers are undisputedly one of the most successful US bands of the 21st century. Now the three brothers from New Jersey are coming live to the Olympic Hall on 20 September 2024 as part of heir world tour.

The success story began in 2005 when Joe, Nick and Kevin joined forces to form the Jonas Brothers. After their debut album "It's About Time", they managed to jump into the top five of the Billboard 200 for the first time with "Jonas Brothers" (2007). The longplayers "A Little Bit Longer" (2008) and "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" (2009) conquered the top position of the US album charts before the brothers separated for several years in 2013. They caused a sensation with their reunion in 2019, when their long-awaited comeback album "Happiness Begins" again reached No. 1 in their home country. And the Jonas Brothers also made it into the Top 3 with "The Album" in 2023. The band's biggest awards included the American Music Award in the category "Breakthrough Artist of the Year" in 2008 and the Billboard Touring Awards in 2008 and 2009, and they were also nominated for the Grammy in 2009 for "Best New Artist".

Now the brothers are finally back on the road live. With 90 concerts in 20 countries worldwide - and opening with a double show at a twice sold-out Yankee Stadium in New York - "The Tour" is the biggest tour in the band's history. On 20 September 2024, the Jonas Brothers will then also come to the Olympic Hall for the first time.

About Jonas Brothers

Standing out as one of the most successful groups of the 21st century, Jonas Brothers—Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas—have sold north of 20 million albums and counting, garnered two GRAMMY® Award nominations, earned 26 Billboard Hot 100 hits, logged three consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard 200, and generated billions of streams. Among many accolades, they’ve recently claimed a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame . In 2019, they notably ignited the comeback of the decade with their Platinum-Certified Republic Records debut, Happiness Begins . It yielded the history-making, 5x-Platinum smash “Sucker,” which minted them as “the first group in the 21st century to debut at #1 on the Hot 100,” exploded as the “longest running #1 Pop Airplay Single of 2019,” and received a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.” Bowing at #1 on the Billboard 200, Happiness Begins impressively scored the “ biggest sales week of 2019 at time of release ” and housed the Double-Platinum “Only Human” and Platinum “Cool.” The band supported the album with the worldwide “ Happiness Begins Tour ”—selling over 1.2 million tickets—and the Amazon Original documentaries Chasing Happiness and Happiness Continues. Along the way, the members simultaneously juggled prolific solo careers extending into television, film, and successful business ventures. In 2023, Jonas Brothers once again proved they are a constant force, embarking on a new era with the release of The Album , via Republic Records. The Album was produced by Jon Bellion and features hit singles “Waffle House” and “Wings.” In support of the new album and this new era for Jonas Brothers, they’re kicking off “ The Tour ” with two sold-out shows at New York’s iconic Yankee Stadium on August 12th and 13th. “ The Tour ” will include stadium and arena dates around the globe through 2024, resulting in the band’s biggest and most extensive tour to date.

About Lawrence

As NPR writes, “siblings Clyde and Gracie Lawrence are not your typical pair.” Clyde Lawrence and Gracie Lawrence have been writing songs and listening to countless Stevie Wonder, Randy Newman, and Aretha Franklin records in their family’s New York City apartment since they were little kids. After years of playing together, they officially created Lawrence, an eight-piece soul-pop band comprised of musician friends from childhood and college. The band has since gained a devoted following for its high-energy, keyboard-driven sound, which features tight, energetic horns and explosive lead vocals. In July 2021, Lawrence released their new album, Hotel TV, and became the first band to release music under Beautiful Mind Records, the label of Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/artist Jon Bellion, who co-produced and co-wrote the songs on the album. The release of Hotel TV was supported by the Hotel TV Tour, a 53-city tour across major cities in North America, including sold out shows at Terminal 5 in New York City, House of Blues in Chicago, and two nights at the Royale in Boston, among others. The band followed their Hotel TV Tour with a co-headline tour with MisterWives, and then 3-nights of sold out shows at Brooklyn Steel, which they curated with numerous special guests and non-repeating sets. Lawrence also completed a headline tour across Europe in March with sold out shows in London, Paris and Amsterdam. The group has toured with acts such as Lake Street Dive, Vulfpeck, Jon Bellion, Jacob Collier, Soulive, O.A.R., and Bernhoft, and has appeared at major festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Firefly, Okeechobee, Hangout, and Summerfest. Performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Today Show & NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly.

Jonas Brothers Are Extending ‘The Tour’ With 54 New Dates Across North America, Europe, Australia, And New Zealand

Megan Armstrong

The Jonas Brothers served as Uproxx cover stars in June , just after the successful May release of The Album . Joe, Kevin, and Nick expressed how excited they were to kickstart their headlining The Tour with back-to-back sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York on August 12 and 13.

“We all grew up watching Derek Jeter and the golden era of the Yankees teams that won a bunch of championships. He’s certainly an icon here in New York and New Jersey, so the invite is there if The Captain wants to come back to Yankee Stadium for the show,” Nick said.

Everybody, Jeter included, will have more opportunities to catch The Tour . On Thursday, July 27, the Jonas Brothers revealed 54 new dates, including 27 additional stops in North America.

I first saw the Jonas Brothers perform in 2009 at Nassau Coliseum on their World Tour. This was the peak of their career. They were the hearthrobs and swoons that reminded the mothers in the audience of the days when they hung up posters of the Beatles. The show in 2009 was one of their more glitzy performances with amazing pyrotechnics, the show was like a huge light show with the Jonas Brothers walking from end to end of their circular stage that truly allowed them to be in the center of the audience the entire time.

Since then I saw them perform three more times, twice at Jones Beach theater and once at PNC Bank Arts Center. My second Jonas Brothers concert was when their Camp Rock 2 Tour. This time, the cool effects came from the screens behind them rather than the lights and fire, but with Joe Jonas wearing some sort of Justin Bieber-like metallic ensemble, the show was good, but not raw like their shows had become last year.

Last year I saw them twice on their First TIme tour. Oddly enough, no album was released prior to the tour. They claimed they were using this tour to test out the songs (that never made an album since the band broke up this past October) I assume that financial reasons got in the way of cool effects, backup dancers, and glitzy costumes for the band of brothers since these concerts were as raw as the Jonas Brothers could get. This was the Jonas Brothers like I had never seen them before. The entire show was about the music and each time the brothers performed a new song the crowd got quiet rather than scream like they did back in 2009 and 2010. It was a moment where I realized that in addition to the brothers growing up, the fans were growing up too and the amphitheaters were filled with fans who had been there since day one. Going to the concerts felt like getting together with old friends as the crowds sang out hits from 2007 six years later. Fans who were once tweens and teens were now going off to college, getting jobs, getting married, and having kids like the oldest brother Kevin. Unfortunately the brothers broke up in October of 2013, just days before they were set to do another tour and months before a new album release. The brothers picked some of their new favorite songs and gifted it to their fan club members. Joe and Nick are both working on new music while Kevin is enjoying life as a father and a new business man, but when Nick and Joe release their new music and eventually set back out on tour, I recommend seeing them. The brothers from New Jersey really care about their fans, and now that their fans are older and more mature, so are their shows. Long live the days of shrieks so loud you went deaf before they graced the stage. Now, the shows are more intimate and the Jonas Brothers have come back down to Earth and I personally like them here.

The experience was amazing!!! First we got to see Picture This, which is an amazing underrated group and not only that but we got to take a picture with them. Then the Jonas Brothers were incredible, every song opening had a little story behind, a video playing through or special effects like confetti, fire or lights. The songs sounded perfect and depending on the song the ambiance was set to different thing, a slow song, a more happy song or a rock song. I LOVED IT!!!!

I have always been a Jonas Brothers fan but I never had the opportunity to go to one of their concerts since they went to my country once (my parents didn't want to pay for it :'( and I didn't go) and then split. I went to their concert in Manchester (luckily I am not studying in the UK) and it was amazing. It has been one of the best experiences of my life! There are no words to describe how much I enjoyed it. Just LOVED it!!!

The Jonas brothers show was great! The thing that was the most disappointing was how much time we had to wait for them to come on stage! We waited over an hour for them to come on stage and the 2nd person who was supposed to perform before them did not come on stage at all and nobody told us why. All in all a great show but the excitement kind of war off waiting for them to come on stage

Lovely, the Jonas Brothers are the best band on Earth, and I'm such a big fan, also I can't wait to be the biggest fan of Kevin, Joe, and Nick, I love their songs and their fans. The band makes me happy and relaxed of listening to their songs on YouTube.

YAAAYYYY...I'M SO HAPPY AND EXCITED FOR THEM!!!

One of the best shows of my life, the atmosphere was so incredible and joyous, I felt as excited as eleven years ago. Too bad they started the show late and I felt like they rushed through it; they didn’t talk much but made sure to make us all feel appreciated. I love the Jonas Brothers ❤️

Best concert of my life!! Such a fun, happy experience that I will never forget. It was worth every penny I paid and more!! Both the brothers and Bebe Rexha made it clear that they love what they do and they made their audience feel like they were up on stage with them. It was amazing.

Amazing Show! BeBe Rexha and Jordan McGraw were breathtaking. Of course the Jonas Brothers were awesome. We were up on the very highest seats in the right. Everyone got confetti expect for us because we were so far away. Loved the show but we didn’t get much action far away.

Incredible. Perfect mix of new music and nostalgia. Although my seats were high up, the experience was great, the multiple stages made a huge difference. Will most likely go back in November to experience there energy and music again.

Jonas Brothers Promise ‘Five Albums Every Night’ on North American Tour

By Jon Blistein

Jon Blistein

The Jonas Brothers will dig into their own “eras” bag with a new North American tour that will find them performing “five albums every night.” A few weeks before its kick-off, the band has extended their biggest tour yet with the addition of 26 new shows in North America and 27 new shows in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

“The Tour,” as it’s being called, appears to build off the band’s recent Broadway residency , during which they played one of their albums in its entirety each night, along with a selection of hits. The shows covered 2007’s self-titled up through their new LP, The Album , released May 12 (no luck for fans of 2006’s It’s About Time ).

Anyway, “The Tour” will kick off with the band’s two previously-announced how’s at Yankee Stadium in New York City on Aug. 12 and 13. The run was originally scheduled to wrapping on Oct. 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Now, it will continue with a show at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Oct. 18 and extend through June 20, when it will conclude with a show in Northern Ireland. The new dates include shows in Brooklyn, Portland, Newark, Nashville, Vancouver, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and more.

Everything We Know About the Jonas Brothers 2023 Tour

And maybe a new album, too... 👀

att playoff playlist live

The Jonas Brothers surprised us all in 2019 when they announced their reunion and new song after a six year hiatus. The Jo Bros have been on two tours since the band got back together. They went on the Happiness Begins Tour from August 2019 to February 2020, and the Remember This Tour from August to December 2021. And now they're back again, besties!

"Later this year there will be a tour," Nick said.

When Kelly asked about the band's new music, he said, "Yeah. So, the album is done. We are very excited about it. And we're kind of in that planning moment. Planning the campaign, the album, the single, like, all the things."

Kelly had the sweetest response, saying, "The thing I love about your band as well is that I also love y’all separately. I loved the projects you’ve done, the solo stuff. Everything awesome. That doesn’t usually happen […] Y’all as a whole are still solid, it’s amazing."

When Are They Performing Next?

On Friday, February 24, the Jo Bros announced that they'll be performing on Broadway for five nights.

They made the announcement with an Insta post, captioning it "Your boys are back in town 🗽 We're coming to Broadway and playing the Marquis Theatre March 14-18!! Each night will be focused on a different album and we'll be playing all the hits. Believe us when we say you won't want to miss these shows... What Do We Know About the New Album?

While we don't know too many specific details about the upcoming album just yet, like the title or release date, the brothers just spilled some tea that may be able to hold us over for a little while.

The Jo Bros have teamed up with Jon Bellion for this album, and what we know so far is that the album is going to have a major '70s feel, with inspo from different '70s artists, like the Bee Gees. “They were a huge influence in our lives, growing up and listening to them with our father,” Kevin said about the Bee Gees in an interview with Variety

"The key to Jon’s initial pitch was bringing in influences from the ’70s, but with a really modern edge to it,” Nick revealed. “We wanted to find a way to tell stories that are universal but also ultra-personal."

Now, let's get into the boys' fav songs off this album. "I'm torn between 'Little Bird,' which is a song about parenthood that will affect people in different ways, and 'Waffle House.' It was a last-minute addition," Nick said "At first, it was a bit of a head scratcher, but the more I listened to it, the more I loved it. I think it really encapsulates a moment in time for us. Musically it taps into some of my favorites: Doobie Brothers and Bee Gees, and others from that era. It's a really, really, fun song. We can't wait to play it live."

preview for 8 REASONS THE JONAS BROTHERS ARE BIGGER THAN EVER

Joe's fav is called "Wings." "It might be the shortest song on the album, but I like it because it feels like a trailer to the rest of the body of work. Also 'Montana Sky.' There's a lot more acoustic guitar and real organic instruments that tap into a bunch of different influences, but we're aware of the fact that we're not a country act. Jon flipped it on its head — he's got a modern edge to everything he does, even if it has really classic elements."

Kevin chose a song called "Vacation eyes." "'Vacation Eyes' is based on how my relationship started with my wife. We met on vacation — and continuing that love story every single day is how I want to live my life. It makes me want to be on the beach! It’s just such a fun song about enjoying life." So cute!!

Jonas Brothers returned in February with “Wings,” the single that launched a new era for the band. The Album will be Kevin, Joe, and Nick’s first body of work since 2019’s Happiness Begins , which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and included the band’s smash-hit “Sucker.”

On Friday, the trio revealed the official music video for their newest single, “Waffle House.” Shot in London, the video follows the band as they take a dance party from an underground nightclub to the city streets to their recent sold-out show at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.

The Album comes out on May 12 via Republic Records.

Jonas Brothers: A Deep Dive into their 2023 Masterpiece, 'The Album'

Jonas Brothers: A Deep Dive into their 2023 Masterpiece, 'The Album'

Instead of holding back or walking the well-trodden path, Jonas Brothers swing for the fences on their 2023 full-length LP, The Album. The GRAMMY® Award-nominated powerhouse trio craft sky scraping anthems with widescreen scope, wild personality, and palpable intimacy. Following arguably the comeback of the decade and the biggest season of their career with 2019’s Happiness Begins and its ensuing tour, the musicians—Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas—opt to challenge themselves. By doing so, they amplify their individual identities and collective energy over the course of these twelve new tracks.

This time around, the brothers found a kindred spirit and creative north star in producer Jon Bellion. Nothing was off the table. There are moments of unabashed dancefloor-ready funk that could’ve been lifted right from Studio 54. There are synths galore, channeling seventies FM radio bliss with wide-eyed enthusiasm and wondrous panache. There are enough sticky hooks to keep any stadium anywhere singing along, all night. Under the influence of the Bee Gees, The Doobie Brothers, and other old school staples, they conjure a classic spirit from an entirely modern perspective. It’s no wonder Vanity Fair hailed this outing for its “feel-good ‘70s-inspired songs.”

MAIN-Press-Photo-Group_Handheld_1742

Elsewhere, the sweeping sonic vistas of “Montana Sky” informed the expanse of this record, breaking open the boundaries once and for all. As the story goes, according to Joe, “Jon went to Nick’s house, and they really created the whole world of the album based on ‘Montana Sky’.”

Lead single “Wings” lifts off to the skies on the fumes of analog synths and slick bass with an uplifting hook, “You are the wings I need to fly away.” As an added bonus, self-proclaimed Jonas Brothers diehard Haley Lu Richardson [White Lotus] starred in the big screen-worthy music video captured during the band’s sold-out three-night residency at Park MGM.

Nick elaborates, “The sonic world for this album is really organic to what those records sound like back in the sixties and seventies, so Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire. ‘Wings’ was very inspired by that instrumentation. The rhythmic element is electrifying. It takes you back to the good old days.”

Then, there’s “Waffle House.” A groove as thick as maple syrup pours over the scrumptious beat as the chorus fondly recalls, “Deep conversations at the Waffle House.” It holds a deep meaning for the guys as Kevin mentions, “The brotherhood we talk about also references our friendship. Not all brothers are friends, and it says a lot about how far we’ve come.”

340297438_1966002680418721_4367602068528499892_n

Acoustic guitar threads around the bopping bounce during “Summer Baby” where the bridge swoons, “Still catching feelings for you.” Elsewhere, “Little Bird” flutters with a father’s love in a heartfelt crescendo.

The Album reaches its apex on the powerful and poignant finale “Walls.” Organ dissolves into acoustic guitar beneath lovestruck musings such as, “‘Cause time is a doorframe, I want to go through. As long as it leads me back to you. If you ever left me, I would die. And even the walls would cry.” Nick reveals, “‘Walls’ is very heavily inspired by Oasis. It’s done in a really modern way in the verses, which is signature Jon Bellion, which is why it was so important to have him as a feature. Lyrically, it was a poetic way of saying a sentiment we’ve heard a lot in songs—if someone left you, it would be soul crushing. It’s the final stamp on the album of that idea. We’re including people in not only our personal experiences but inviting them into this space.”

This space proved to be the band’s most immersive as Jonas Brothers overtook every facet of culture in 2023 leading up to the release. They delivered stirring and showstopping performances of “Walls” and “Waffle House” on Saturday Night Live, while they sat on the couch for an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Impressively, they headlined Royal Albert Hall in London and a five-night sold-out Broadway Residency at Marquis Theatre—of the latter Variety enthused, “They brought a rock swagger to Broadway, keeping the crowd on their feet for the entirety of the show.” It all preceded two sold out summer shows at Yankee Stadium in New York—their biggest North American headline dates yet.

332940115_101091682911751_1103205910730748188_n

“I hope people feel like they’re part of our journey for a moment in time,” Nick leaves off. “One of the things I always say about Jonas fans, which I think is the greatest honor ever, is that I think they’ve really allowed us to be a part of their journey. We’ve stayed true to ourselves, most importantly, and who we are as artists, what we want to say, and what is authentic to us. I hope people feel a part of our journey and know we’re honored to be a part of theirs.”

“Just go for it,” smiles Joe . “Sit down with it and listen to it from start to finish. Please don’t skip any songs.”

Welcome to The Album.

Kevin Jonas teases the Jonas Brothers' new album and 2023 tour: '(Our) best body of work'

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

The Jonas Brothers are ready to debut new music and hit the road in 2023.

“It’s been four years since we released music, so it's time again, and we're ready,” Kevin Jonas told The Arizona Republic on Feb. 2.

Four years ago, Kevin, Joe and Nick released their first record since mending their relationships and reuniting as a band. Since 2019’s “Happiness Begins,” they have welcomed three new children — Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have two daughters, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas share a daughter together and Kevin and Danielle Jonas' daughters were born in 2014 and 2016 — and released a handful of tracks.

Now, the brothers are preparing fans for their upcoming sixth studio album, which will be released May 5. The influence of the 1970s music they grew up listening to, including the Bee Gees and the band America, will shine through in a record that’s simply called “The Album.”

Listen up: The best and biggest concerts playing metro Phoenix in February 2023

‘The Album’ is ‘the best body of work … we’ve ever put together’

If “Happiness Begins” was about the three brothers coming back together to celebrate whom they’ve become and the love they’ve found since their 2013 breakup, “The Album” seems as if it will commemorate how they have arrived at similar stages in their lives.

“The album is special,” Kevin Jonas said. “I think it's the most connected piece of tissue we've had where we're all in the same place. We're all girl dads now, which is really crazy.

“It's the best body of work, in my opinion, we've ever put together. It's unlike anything we've done.”

With “Happiness Begins,” Joe and Nick had “found their people,” Kevin Jonas said.

“And now we're finding each other again in the same place with the kids. And so it's weird. We kind of go through these cycles of life where I think we need to live life to then write about it. And I think that's where we're at currently with this project,” he said.

Jonas described the band’s upcoming music as being “grounded in what and who we are, which is just some guys from New Jersey that just want to make good music.” The sound is “Americana, ‘70s” and “feel-good,” he said.

“We're just ready for this whole year. We're ready to get going,” Kevin Jonas said.

Being inducted to the Hollywood Walk of Fame made Kevin Jonas emotional

In January, the Jonas Brothers’ cultural impact was cemented on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their family, friends and past collaborators — not to mention a massive crowd of fans — were there to celebrate the accomplishment 18 years after the band was formed.

“It was really, really special. It was quite the day. It was emotional,” Kevin Jonas said. “Someone was like, ‘Don't cry getting the stars.' Like, I don't know how I'm not. I think it was because we were surrounded by our friends and family that really were there from the beginning.”

The speakers, who included OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Jon Bellion, the Jonas Brothers’ main collaborator for “The Album,” could hardly get more than a few sentences out during the induction ceremony on Jan. 30 as fans who lined up along Hollywood Boulevard screamed their support.

“We owe it all to them. They are the ones that keep us going, keep us breathing,” Jonas said of their fans. “And, you know, it's just the beginning.”

What we know about the Jonas Brothers’ 2023 tour

Since reuniting, the Jonas Brothers embarked on the Happiness Begins tour in 2019-2020 and performed a range of hits during the Remember This tour over the past two years. They had a slate of shows scheduled in Las Vegas, performing three shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Feb. 17-19.

Jonas couldn’t reveal anything about a “The Album” tour but teased that he’s seen “a lot of shows” on “a very big Excel sheet.”

The brothers seemed to indicate during their Dolby Live performances that the upcoming tour will have more than 60 shows and start in August .

The way the brothers tour has changed over the years, Kevin Jonas said.

“There are so many cities I've been to that I've only seen the inside of an airport and the venue or literally don't even know what something else looks like,” he said. “So we really try to make an effort now, (but) in our younger years, that was definitely the way it was. But now it's, like, after the show we want to go out and we want to go experience the culture, the people and the environment.”

He added, “My kids, we like to have them explore and see different cities as much as we possibly can. And so, you know, getting to find cool kids' museums or cool restaurants, it's nice.”

What songs will be on the Jonas Brothers’ ‘The Album’?

The brothers have teased some of their songs on social media and in interviews, but the track list has not been released in its entirety.

Their first single, “Wings,” will debut Feb 24. In a January interview with Variety , Joe Jonas named that tune as his favorite, alongside “Montana Sky.”

Kevin Jonas revealed to Variety that “Vacation Eyes,” a song about how he and Danielle met, is his favorite from the record. Nick Jonas named “Little Bird,” a track that reflects on parenthood, and “a bit of a head-scratcher” called “Waffle House” as his top songs on “The Album.”

Jonas Brothers setlist: Here are all the songs at their electric 'The Tour' concerts

jonas brothers tour deutschland 2023

NEW YORK – The brothers are back.

Four years after their comeback Happiness Begins Tour, the Jonas Brothers are on the road again for their The Tour , which kicked off with the first of two sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium Aug. 12.

The New Jersey natives are chronicling five of their studio albums as the marathon beginning to their tour, supporting their latest LP, "The Album."

Building on the anticipation and format of their five-night Broadway stint earlier this year , songs from their newest album were sprinkled through the three-hour show.

The  Jonas Brothers  have announced their most ambitious outing yet, a massive 35-date stadium and arena run –  THE TOUR –  where the band will perform  five albums every night.  The momentum comes off the incredible response and fan demand from their highly successful sold-out Broadway engagement and their two-date Yankee Stadium sell-out, kicking off the tour in August.

Jonas Brothers’ new single “Waffle House,” released via Republic Records on Friday, April 7th, launched a new era for the band’s latest full-length record  The Album , executive produced by Jon Bellion [Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Halsey].  The Album  is set for release on Friday, May 12th.  Kicking off 2023, the band received their Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 30, 2023.

"Sucker,” the 5x-platinum single, debuted at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100, becoming the first #1 for the band and the first #1 debut from a group this century. The band went on to release  Chasing Happiness , an Amazon Original film documenting the brothers’ rise and return to music, before going on to deliver their third #1 album with the arrival of their platinum-selling  Happiness Begins  (Republic Records).

In the wake of  Happiness Begins , the band garnered a bevy of awards, including three trophies in the categories of “Top Duo/Group,” “Top Radio Songs Artist,” and “Top Radio Song” for “Sucker” at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, a 2019 MTV VMA for “Best Pop Video,” “Best Duo/Group” at the 2020 iHeart Music Awards, and two Teen Choice Awards, including the prestigious “Decade Award.” They also picked up American Music Awards nominations, a coveted Grammy nomination, and more. Jonas Brothers teamed up with Marshmello for “Leave Before You Love Me,” claiming a Top 10 spot at Top 40 radio for six weeks and tallying millions of streams and views.

The touring news comes just 10 days ahead of the May 12 release of The Album , the Jonas Brothers’ first record since 2019’s Happiness Begins . Kevin, Joe and Nick have effectively been working toward The Tour since February, when they staged a five-night run of intimate shows on Broadway in New York. Each night, they played a different one of their albums, starting with 2007’s self-titled LP and ending with the live debut of The Album .

In April, the guys played two sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium in New York, both of which included run-throughs of all five of the albums spread out across five nights on Broadway two months prior. This format will now be applied to every night of The Tour , as explained by Kevin, Joe and Nick in an Instagram announcement video.

Jonas Brothers reschedule 2024 European tour dates

The shows were scheduled for this spring but moved to fall

Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, the Jonas Brothers are shifting the European leg of The Tour to start in September. The trek begins on September 9th in Belfast with dates through October 16th in Krakow. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates and additional tickets are on sale now. Current ticketholders will receive more information via email.

We will have more information to come, but we cannot wait to see you. Thank you for all your support over all these years” share the Jonas Brothers.

Produced by Live Nation, The Tour is their most ambitious outing to date with 98 shows across 26 countries. Every night is a celebration of five albums and features their best hits throughout the years including a variety of career-spanning deep cuts and fan-favorite hits.

In 2024, The Tour continues its trek around the globe, returning next to South America for the first time in ten years. The Latin American leg of The Tour will see the band perform in Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina, along with three performances across Mexico. They will also perform for the first time in Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, Hamburg, Lyon, Munich, and Norway later this fall.

The Jonas Brothers Are Facing Fan Backlash After Rescheduling Their European Tour Dates

The Jonas Brothers Are Facing Fan Backlash After Rescheduling Their European Tour Dates

The internet is currently filled with disappointed Jonas Brothers fans.

On Wednesday, April 10, the band announced via X that they are rescheduling the European leg of their tour , noting that upcoming shows are being shifted to later this year. “We appreciate your love and support so much,” the trio wrote. “We know this is a bit inconvenient but we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming.”

The bandmates added that previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new tour dates. A note on the Jonas Brothers’ website says that European concerts are being postponed due to “scheduling conflicts.”

Fans of Joe Jonas , Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas took to social media to share their grievances about the scheduling change. “I love the jonas brothers but the way they and their team are doing things is not okay,” X user @heyitsjobros wrote . “@jonasbrothers you can’t just reschedule tour dates without giving an explanation. people [are] traveling from different sites to see you and you just postponed shows for MONTHS later? “

The band is currently globe-trotting across Latin America , with upcoming shows in Chile, Peru and Colombia. Dubbed The Tour , the concerts showcase the brothers as they perform five albums throughout the evening: 2007’s Jonas Brothers, 2008’s A Little Bit Longer, 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times and 2019’s Happiness Begins. “We’ve been burnt out before and then you’re like, ‘I still got 20 more shows on this tour,” he explained. “So we all have our own perspective ways of going about that, and we just make sure that that’s prioritized and also that we think the three of us are communicating as best as we can.”

The singer added that performing “doesn’t feel like work” when it’s in front of the band’s fans. “We’re treating this like the best tour we’ve ever done,” he said. “And I think we intend to make it that experience for fans as well.”

The Jonas Brothers tour brought the hits and a song for a newly engaged couple to Phoenix

T he Jonas Brothers were clearly enjoying the opportunity to go a bit off script in downtown Phoenix on Saturday, April 6, after eight months of touring a tightly-scripted overview of their career that found them playing five albums a night, at times combining the tiniest taste of as many as nine songs in a single medley.

They played portions of 64 songs when Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour hit Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix in September 2023 .

Seven months later, their headlining set at the 2024 March Madness Music Festival at Margaret T. Hance Park found them trimming the sails to 18 songs, including one they hadn't meant to play but slipped in to celebrate a young couple getting engaged as Joe Jonas was singing the perfectly suitable "Camp Rock" soundtrack ballad "Gotta Find You."

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

It was a brilliant example of living in the moment, Nick Jonas teeing up a fantastic rendition of Earth, Wind & Fire's "September" with "We had another song picked, but we're gonna switch it up just to fully celebrate this moment. This is our best version of being a wedding band, so this is our gift to you."

And it sounded amazing, hitting all the necessary high notes with joyous aplomb.

According to setlist.fm , this is only the fifth time they've covered "September" in concert.

'Did you guys propose?': Jonas Brothers sing to couple who got engaged at Phoenix concert

The Jonas Brothers played 'Cake By the Ocean' and 'S.O.S.'

And yet, it felt like a perfectly natural extension of their evolution from the effervescent power-pop of the Disney Channel classics "S.O.S" and "Year 3000" to the falsetto-laden funk of "Summer Baby," "Waffle House" and the euphorically received rendition of "Cake By the Ocean," a massive hit for the Joe Jonas side project DNCE that's earned more than 1.5 billion streams on Spotify.

They set the tone for Saturday's performance with "Celebrate!," a suitably welcoming highlight of their latest album, 2023's "The Album," and kept the focus squarely on their recent output as they followed through with current single "Strong Enough" and 2020's "What a Man Gotta Do."

Then, Joe broke the news that "you're all gonna be on TV," further encouraging fans with a helpful reminder that "the crazier you go, the better chances you're on TV."

And in case that didn't do it, he added, "And I really don't want you to let me down. I was born in Case Grande, Arizona. And I need Arizona to show up."

With that, the stage was set for "Waffle House," another highlight of "The Album."

Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas: Disney heartthrobs to enduring headliners

It's kind of amazing to witness three brothers who launched their careers as Disney Channel heartthrobs put the focus squarely on their recent catalog while still inspiring the sort of adulation that greeted their earliest efforts.

Few teen idols have managed the transition to adulthood as successfully as these three brothers.

At the same time, there was no mistaking the excitement in the air when Joe announced their intention to "take you back a couple years" before blowing the dust off "S.O.S.," their first Top 20 single, released in 2007, which they followed with another pop hit from the same self-titled breakthrough, "Play My Music."

"That one was from a movie called 'Camp Rock,'" Joe told the fans, as though they needed a reminder (they did not). "I feel like we should play one more from that era."

That's when they launched into a second "Camp Rock" classic, "Gotta Find You," inspiring one of many massive singalongs.

More Jonas Brothers tour highlights: 'Lovebug' and 'Year 3000'

Before the set was through, they'd reached back to their first Top 40 single, a cover of Busted's "Year 3000," and worked their way through early hits as undeniable as "When You Look Me in the Eyes," "Burnin' Up" (on which the fans supplied the guest rap) and a truly transcendent performance of "Lovebug" (my pick for the song that every doubter needs to hear).

They ended the set with a solid reminder that they've made it through the inevitable downturn in their fortunes as teen idols and emerged victorious with hits as worthy as "Sucker" and the Marshmello collaboration "Leave Before You Love Me."

It's rare to see teen idols earn a second act. The Jonas Brothers have not only managed to cross the divide, they've done it in a way that seems as natural as the Beatles going from "I Want to Hold Your Hand" to "Rubber Soul."

There was a lengthy break in the action when someone in the audience appeared to require medical assistance and the Jonas Brothers paused the concert, leaving the stage for several minutes while security tended to the person.

But whatever momentum that cost them was quickly regained when they launched into the ballad "When You Look Me in the Eyes" after Nick assured the fans "Nothing matters to us more than your safety," following through with a joyous singalong on "Year 3000."
