Monomoy Island Excursion

chatham harbor cruises

Monomoy Island Excursions is a family owned and operated business in Harwich Port, Cape Cod, Massachussets. For over 10 years we’ve been taking people out to Monomoy , a barrier island and wildlife refuge off the coast of Chatham,MA, where thousands of seals have made their home.

chatham harbor cruises

While seals are the main attraction on our cruise, there is a lot more to see! We visit  Wychmere Harbor , in Harwich Port. This is one of the most scenic harbors on the Cape! We also stop in to  Stage Harbor  in Chatham, where you get a close up view of  Stage Harbor Lighthouse  and see   Chatham Lighthouse . Not to mention the combination of large yachts, small sailboats, and various fishing boats that fill each harbor. You get a real taste of the sea life on  Nantucket Sound .

We run seal cruises several times a day, generally lasting 1 1/2 hours. While we see lots of harbor seals and gray seals,  Monomoy  is also home to hundreds of species of birds and other wildlife. There is a trained naturalist on board who narrates the tour and can answer questions about the wildlife as well as the history of the island and the historic  Monomoy Lighthouse .

Went on a fantastic seal tour with my family. The captain is very knowledgeable about the seals in the area - what type of seals visit, where they like to hang out, differences between them, etc. We saw dozens of seals and even got up close to a few that were waiting for a fishing boat to drop some fish.

chatham harbor cruises

Today, I had a totally wonderful experience thanks to Beachcomber Boat Tours! Our boat ride out to see the seals and the beauty the area was so refreshing. Our captain Burt was knowledgeable about history and sea life. He brought us up close to the seals who seemed totally okay with the tourists admiring them from a safe distance. A few brave seals swam closer to give us a good look too. After the extremely pleasant time out on the water, I realized I needed to leave my tour group and go rest at my hotel. The staff went above and beyond what anyone would expect to help me. One staff member brought me a glass of cold water while another contacted cab and Uber drivers. One of their own staff members volunteered to drive ! She went so far out of her way to help me! The kindness of these wonderful people will never be forgotten!

My Wife and I did the 4:00 seal watch back on July 20th. We both had a great time and the hour and a half just flew by. The captain was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend Beachcomber's seal watch tours to anyone visiting the Cape Cod area.

Photo of Gina C.

This was a great seal tour! Our Captain was very knowledgeable and made sure we all got to see seals while providing us with facts about the Cape, sharks and seals. You should definitely put this on your bucket list when I'm Cape Cod!

I was visiting CC with friends during the pandemic. Not much was open, but we had a great time. Our rental house had a book that listed Beachcomber for seal tours. Per their voicemail, they were closed. Paula returned my call on their first day of reopening, which was the last day of our vacation. Paula was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. She offered several tour options and could have up to 10 people on the boat, but I had to get home. Based on our interaction, and seeing the beauty of Chatham, I will definitely book with Beachcomber for a seal tour the next time we visit CC.

I can highly recommend Beachcomber for a great seal watching experience. We went with our two small service dogs and were accommodated very well. We saw huge numbers of seals and birds and our captain was very personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend bringing a jacket, sunglasses, and a hat with a chin strap, since part of the trip is very fast and we got chilly in the middle of the afternoon in July.

Called on the day we were in Chatham and were lucky that they still had availability. Paula was so accommodating and patient with my 2 younger sons (2-4) and knowledgeable about the history of the shore line. Captain Justin was awesome, he grew up on the ocean (near and far) so can tell you anything and everything. It's a short boat ride to the seals and he gets you right in the middle of them. Got to see horseshoe crabs and a pirate boat which the boys loved. Highly recommend, super kid friendly and such a friendly easy going staff. Keeping it local and old school it's cash only and no deposit for reservations so make sure you call if you need to change or cancel. Will be going back when we have guests visit!

Photo of Chantel Z.

Beachcomber exceeded our expectations more than I could ever say. Having gone whale watching in the past, my boyfriend and I booked this thinking we'd get a small glimpse of the seals here and there. However, we saw tons of seals both in the water and on the beach sunning themselves. Our tour guide Skip was amazingly knowledgable and funny. He taught all of us not just about the seals but about Chatham. I could have listened to him talk for hours. He also knew how to steer and position the boat in a way that was least disturbing to the seals and the wildlife, which enhanced our experience greatly. I highly recommend this to families and adults alike, though I will say that I would be wary to take an infant or small toddler on this trip. While they make everyone under 12 wear life jackets, I think a child who is a bit older than a toddler or infant would get more out of the trip. Plus, the boat isn't really structured for the optimal viewing for someone so small. That being said, my boyfriend and I will likely be taking his niece (who's 5) on the trip next time we're up on the cape. This was truly a wonderful experience that I couldn't recommend more!!!!

Great tour and saw lots of seals. We went on a beautiful, sunny day and the grownups all enjoyed it. However, the trip was a little long for the kids( total 1 1/2 hr) - the excitement wore off quickly after 20 minutes of watching seals and they all started whining. There was no shade on the boat and everyone, from the shuttle driver to the captain expected to be tipped ( signs everywhere). Bring cash .

I really enjoyed the seal tour (but I really took it to get a look at the birds in the area). $35 and you get a 1 1/2 ride around Chatham waters. The captain was good and I really enjoyed seeing an Arctic Tern during the trip. I saw thousands of seals and had quick looks at thousands of birds. A good morning!

A Local’s Guide to the Best Cape Cod Seal Tours & Where to See Seals On Your Own

No matter how old you are, seeing seals at the beach or on a boat tour is an unforgettable experience. These marine mammals are just so cute when they splash around and poke their heads up out of the water, and even while they sunbathe on the sand — especially the pups.

If you’ve never had the chance to see seals or you want to see them again, head to Cape Cod. The outer peninsula is usually teeming with them, and there are several Cape Cod seal tours that you can book.

cape cod seal tours

Get our free Cape Cod Vacation Guide, full of the best things to do in Cape Cod. The best activities, restaurants, museums, events, views, and much more!

Before we get to that, though, let’s talk about the seal species that you can expect to see.

Important Things to Know About Cape Cod Seals

In general, you can see seals on Cape Cod any time of year but you’ll see many during the breeding season, which is between September and March. The peak period is September and October as large numbers of them arrive on the islands. You may see Cape Cod seals sleep on the sandy or rocky shores when they have pups or when they’re looking for warmth. But they can sleep in the water too.

Another fact to know is that seals and sea lions are two different animals. Seals don’t have external ears, but sea lions do. Also, true seals can’t rotate their back flippers like sea lions can, which makes them look like they “walk” on land. Instead, they scoot across the sand or rocks to get where they want.

On Cape Cod, it’s possible to see five species of seals. The two most common are harbor and gray seals, but you could come across harp, ringed, and hooded seals in the winter and spring. Keep reading to learn how to identify each species.

  • Harbor Seals — Born between May and June, harbor seals have puppy-like faces with small and pointed snouts and a definite brow. They’re relatively small at about 5 feet long, and their bodies are light underneath and brown to gray on top with irregular spots all over. Their front flippers have small claws, while their back flippers have tiny claws.
  • Gray Seals — The largest seals found on Cape Cod, gray seals can be 7-8 feet long and weigh more than 600-800 pounds (the females are smaller than the males). The females are light with dark spots, while the males are dark with a few light spots. All gray seals have long, broad snouts. Pups are usually born from late December to mid-February.
  • Harp Seals — Although rare on Cape Cod, harp seals are about 5.5 feet long and weigh around 280 pounds. The pups go through several appearance changes as they age. As adults, they have white to light gray coats with dark brown patches on the head and back. The markings might form a musical harp, which is where the name comes from.
  • Ringed Seals — Even more rare to see on the peninsula, ringed seals are the smallest seals in the area at about 4.5 feet long and 150 pounds. Their coats are typically a cream color on the bottom and dark gray on top with a constellation of rings on the head and back. They have short but strong front flippers with long, curved claws because they prefer landfast ice. If you see a ringed seal on Cape Cod, it’s probably a juvenile that has wandered off.
  • Hooded Seals — Like ringed seals, hooded seals are pretty rare on the peninsula. While females grow to 7 feet and 350 pounds, males can be 8 feet and 600 pounds. All adults are white or silvery blue with dark brown spots. The distinguishing feature is the inflatable sac that droops from the males’ noses, forming a black hood when inflated during mating season or to defend their territory. The males also have a red inner lining in their noses that they can inflate outward.

Get the Full Experience With Cape Cod Seal Tours

To do more than see seals, you can book a seal cruise with a handful of nearby boat tour operators. It’s a fantastic way to get close to these marine mammals and see other wildlife on the waters around Cape Cod.

Monomoy Island Excursions

From Harwich Port, Monomoy Island Excursions navigates the Perseverance boat through narrow channels and into isolated lagoons around Monomoy Island. The island is home to thousands of gray seals, so you’re likely to see them swimming around and laying on the shoreline. The tour is about 1.5 hours, during which a trained naturalist educates you about the seals and other wildlife. Monomoy Island Excursions offer seal tours as well as private charters.

Monomoy Island Ferry

Offering the fastest Cape Cod seal tours around Monomoy Island is the Monomoy Island Ferry . It departs from the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge headquarters in Chatham and has been the closest launching point to the seals since 1989. You’ll ride on the Rip Ryder for about 2 hours, learning about the seals and other wildlife along the way, such as the piping plover, roseate tern, and American oystercatcher. Also, you’ll get up-close views of Stage Harbor Lighthouse and the Nantucket Sound. Seal tours and private tours are available.

Beachcomber Boat Tours

Operating Cape Cod seal tours in bright yellow beachcomber boats, Beachcomber Boat Tours is located in Chatham. Transportation is provided to the boats at Ryder’s Cove. The cruises explore Pleasant Bay and the waterways between Chatham Lighthouse, North Beach, and the break. In addition to the picturesque beaches and harbors, you’ll see seals, birds, and other wildlife. The adventure lasts about 1.5 hours. Several tours depart on a daily basis in July and August months. June and September schedules are not set in advance. Private tours are available and are Beachcomber Boat Tours’ specialty.

Outermost Harbor Marine

For more Chatham-based Cape Cod seal tours, head to Outermost Harbor Marine . It has one of the best launching spots in the area for seeing the seals along the inner channels of Chatham Harbor. The 24-foot boat can fit up to 15 people and quietly moves among the seals as they swim around in the shallow water. The cruises last about 1 hour.

Blue Claw Boat Tours

From Orleans, Blue Claw Boat Tours provides Cape Cod seal tours on the Orleans River to Pleasant Bay and Chatham Harbor. The 1-hour, 45-minute cruises include historical facts about more than seals. You’ll hear about buried treasure and pirates, great white sharks, Native Americans, Pilgrims, and shipwrecks during the narration. The ride stops by the Chatham Fish Pier where the local fishing fleet is hard at work. Off-season cruises are available and may be scheduled.

cape cod seal tours

Best Places to See Seals on Cape Cod

If you prefer to search for seals yourself over choosing one of the Cape Cod seal tours, you can find them all along the Cape Cod National Seashore from Chatham to Provincetown. However, there are several places where they tend to gather more, especially less crowded areas. There isn’t a specific time of day that’s best to see seals, but they tend to break for land in the late afternoon and early evening.

Throughout Chatham

Of all the towns on Cape Cod, Chatham is renowned for having the most seals. They tend to come out of the water in the early evening. But, where are the seals in Chatham? As mentioned, the majority of the seals hang around Monomoy Island , which is about 9.5 miles from the mainland and only accessible by boat.

To see Cape Cod seals on the mainland, head to Chatham Fish Pier . You can usually see seals from the observation deck as the fishermen return home and throw out unused bait. While you watch, you can eat some chowder, lobster bisque, lobster rolls, and other fresh seafood from the Chatham Pier Fish Market .

Chatham Lighthouse Beach is another potential spot for Cape Cod seals. The spectacular view of the lighthouse is a bonus. Plus, you can walk to the south end of the beach to see the Shack, which is a living sculpture built of shipwreck debris that has washed ashore.

Nauset Beach in Orleans

A little farther north, Nauset Beach is a 10-mile stretch of sand where you can go swimming, surfing, and fishing. Sometimes, the seals aren’t shy at all and will approach swimmers. Just use caution because it’s not always safe to swim with seals.

Coast Guard Beach in Eastham

If you follow Nauset Beach north, you’ll come to Coast Guard Beach with only a narrow waterway to separate the two. A nearby salt marsh is a good place to observe the seals in the winter, alongside various seabirds.

Ballston Beach in Truro

Even farther up the Cape Cod arm, Ballston Beach is a quiet stretch of sand where some seals like to hang out. You have to hike a little to get to the sand, but you’re rewarded with unspoiled land and large dunes.

Highlights of the tour

  • St Basil’s Cathedral;
  • Stalin skyscraper on Kotelnicheskaya (Tinkers) embankment;
  • The Kremlin;
  • “House on the Embankment” Stalin skyscraper;
  • Monument to Peter I;
  • The Central House of Artists;
  • Christ the Savior Cathedral;
  • Gorky Park;
  • Moscow State University;
  • Russian Academy of Sciences;
  • Luzhniki stadium;
  • Novodevichy Monastery;
  • Kiev railway station;
  • Europe Square;
  • Moscow City Hall;
  • Government House;
  • Expocentre Exhibition Complex;
  • and other famous sights.

You will learn about the different epochs of the city from the foundation in 1147 till Soviet times of 20 th  century.

Moscow River

Moskva river has the form of a snake and is the main waterway of Moscow, consisting of a cascade of reservoirs. Within the city, Moskva river is 80 km long, 120 m - 200 m wide and up to 14 m deep. The narrowest part of the river is the Kremlin area in the city center, and the most extensive is around the Luzhniki Stadium in the south.

Bridges in Moscow

Undoubtedly, bridges and embankments are among the most scenic spots and main attractions of Moscow. Plus, they are so romantic.

  • Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge –  Great Stone Bridge –  is the main bridge of Moscow . The first stone bridge was constructed here in the 17th century.
  • Patriarshy Bridge  is one of the youngest pedestrian bridges, built in 2004. The bridge connects the iconic Christ the Saviour Cathedral with funky Bersenevskaya embankment, extremely popular place among locals for its trendy art galleries, cafes and panoramic views. Patriarshy Bridge used to be a shooting location for ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's New Year speech to the nation.
  • Borodinsky Bridge,  erected in honor of the 100th anniversary of the glorious victory in the Battle of Borodino (which every Russian kid knows about), a fierce legendary battle during the Russo-French war of 1812.
  • Bagration Bridge  one of the  pedestrian bridges with most picturesque views of the Moskva River with its numerous upper-level observation platforms. The bridge was erected to celebrate the 850th anniversary of Moscow city in 1997.
  • Krymsky Bridge  used to be in Top 5 Europe’s longest bridges some 100 years ago. The bridge got its name after the ancient Krymsky ford which Crimean Tartars used to invade Moscow in the 16 th  century.

Embankments of Moscow

Moscow river boats 37 embankments, the most popular being Kremlevskaya, Sofiyskaya, Pushkinskaya, Vorobyovskaya and Kolomenskaya.

You can get the most spectacular views of the Kremlin from  Kremlevskaya and Sofiyskaya embankments.

  • Pushkinkaya embankment  is the most romantic in Moscow. It meanders along Gorky Park and Neskuchnyi garden and is rich for all kinds of entertainment as well as cozy nooks, including Olivkovy beach, the famous Zeleny theater as well as a pier for river cruisers.
  • Vorobyevskaya embankment  is part of Sparrow Hills nature reserve. This place opens a beautiful panorama of the river and city from the observation deck and is considered to be the place for taking serious decisions in life.
  • Embankment in Kolomenskoye  Museum-Reserve has a special charm due to its peculiar geographical relief. The boat trip around Kolomenskoye would be the most peaceful in your life.
  • Taras Shevchenko embankment  is popular among photographers for its modern Moscow City skyscrapers. Highly recommended for your night boat trip.
  • Embankments of Moscow are the pride of the capital. A distinctive feature of each of the promenades is its architecture and beautiful views. In addition, almost all the embankments of Moscow have a rich history and a lot of notable buildings.

Different epochs

Taking a walk along the Moskva River by boat, you will witness the architecture of Moscow from different eras and styles. Archaeological studies indicate that already in the XI century there stood a fortified settlement on Borovitsky hill, which is now called the Kremlin. Little fortress could not accommodate all the residents of the rapidly growing city, and the Grand Duke ordered the construction of a new Kremlin, larger than the former.

Boat trip around Kolomenskoe Park

Moscow river boat trip starts from the pier Klenovy (Maple) Boulevard and provides reat views of Nicholas Perervinsky monastery.

Nicholas Perervinsky monastery was founded at the time of the Battle of Kulikov (1380). The monastery, got its name from the surrounding area – “Pererva”, which can be translated like “tear off” and because of the location –  here it abruptly changed its course, turning to Kolomna, standing on the opposite bank.

Nowadays Kolomenskoye is State Art, Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve, which doors are open to everyone who wants to get in touch with the ancient history of Russia.

Take a break from the big city hustle in the shady parks and gardens of the Kolomenskoe Museum-Reserve. Don’t miss a wonderful Church of the Ascension and Tsar Alexey’s Palace in Kolomenskoye!

Monasteries and temples

  • Novospassky Monastery
  • Founded in the 13th century on the site where now is located the Danilovsky monastery. After a few decades, in 1330, Ivan Kalita moved the monastery onto the Borovitskii hill of the Kremlin. However, in the 15th century, Spassky Monastery again moved, this time to a more spacious place on Krasnoholmskaya waterfront.
  • Church of St. Nicholas in Zayaitskom
  • Erected in the middle of the XVIII century in baroque style. The building survived after the 1812 fire, but the utensils were destoyed. Parishioners collected donations and restored the temple on their own. In Soviet times, it was closed and re-opened only in 1992.
  • Cathedral of Christ the Savior
  • The church was originally erected in honor of the victory over Napoleon and was being under construction for long 44 years. Notoriously demolished in 1937 to be a giant swimming pool under open sky. The current building was constructed in 1990s. It is the tallest and one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world.
  • The temple was built in 1679-82, during the reign of Tsar Fedor Alekseevich, in late Muscovite Baroque style and can be characterized as bonfire temple. Each gable is a symbol of a heavenly fire.
  • Novodevichy Convent
  • The most famous concent and monastery in Moscow, presumably founded in 1524. Novodevichy’s status has always been high among other monasteries, it was in this monastery where the women of the royal blood, the wives of Tsars and local rulers of Moscow were kept in prison as nuns.
  • St. Andrew’s church  (male acts as Compound Patriarch of Moscow)
  • St. Andrew’s church stands right on the slopes of the Sparrow Hills, on the way down to the Moskva River, on the territory of the Nature Reserve “Sparrow Hills”. The monastery is small in size but is very cozy. It’s situated in a quiet courtyard surrounded by temples, fruit trees and flowers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your cancellation policy?

For a full refund, a minimum of 7 days notice is required.

Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance – but more than 48 hrs before departure time – will be charged 50%.

No-shows and cancellations made 48 hrs or less before departure time will be charged full price.

What if there is bad weather?

Safety is ultimately our top priority.  We will not operate in hazardous weather conditions such as heavy rain, thick fog, high winds or thunder and lightning.  If severe weather cancels your reservation we will make every effort to reschedule for another day.  Otherwise, a full refund will be issued.

However, no guarantees can be made that every part of every day will be perfectly sunny.  So we will operate as usual in overcast conditions, light fog and in intermittent sprinkles.  Guests should dress appropriately for changeable weather and bring a positive attitude!

The final decision on weather related cancellations rests with the captain and reservations should be considered upheld unless we contact you directly.

How early should I show up for my reservation?

To leave enough time for our check-in procedure, we recommend your party arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time.  Leave yourself some margin for traffic or parking related delays, pre-departure bathroom stops, etc.

For Private Charters :

There will be no refunds or credits for customers arriving late.  Trips are scheduled multiple times per day and to ensure that all of our reservations are honored, your tour will still have to return at its regularly scheduled time.

For Group Charters:

Group tours will leave at the regularly scheduled departure time – no exceptions.  There will be no refunds or credits for customers arriving after the boat has departed.

What should I wear? What should I bring?

WHAT TO BRING:

  • A valid form of ID (only necessary for the person who has made the reservation).
  • If your tour/rental has not been prepaid, you will need to bring a form of payment.  We accept all major credit cards and/or cash.  Guests of the Wequassett Resort can also charge to their room account if they prefer.
  • An additional layer of clothing.  Even if its t-shirt weather in your driveway, always assume it will be cooler on the water.  For shorter tours, a sweatshirt or a light jacket is often enough.  For offshore trips, a water-resistant jacket plus a sweatshirt is ideal.  Temperatures can drop 20 degrees when heading offshore and clothing can quickly get wet if fog is present.
  • Please wear boat shoes, non-scuffing white-soled sneakers or relax and go barefoot.
  • Snacks/beverages.  Please see additional FAQ’s for restrictions.
  • Sunscreen (non-spray only).
  • Polarized sunglasses.

DO NOT BRING:

  • Spray sunscreen.
  • Marking shoes or sandals.
  • Hard alcohol.
  • Cigarettes/cigars/vapes (no smoking allowed).
  • Drugs of any kids.
  • Beer bottles or glass containers.  (Wine bottles are fine.  Beer in cans is also fine).
  • Anything that can easily blow away.
  • Large coolers.  Each of our vessels already has a large cooler onboard.  Feel free to bring a small cooler and small bags.
  • Large meals.  It just doesn’t work well on an open, moving boat.  Keep food/snacks simple!

May food and drinks be brought on board?

All of our trips include complimentary bottled water.  Additionally, customers are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages.

Please remember that you will be eating/drinking on a boat that is moving, open to the wind and may or may not have a table or cup holders (we operate several vessels and each is equipped differently).  Our advice is to KEEP IT SIMPLE and don’t bring anything that you aren’t prepared to eat in your lap.  Smaller snacks and finger foods are easiest and less likely to stain your clothing and our upholstery.

For adults over 21, reasonable amounts of beer and wine are also allowed.

RESTRICTIONS:

  • Leave the red wine at home.  On a moving boat it will stain clothing and upholstery.
  • No hard alcohol.
  • Please opt for cans and minimize glass containers in general.  Wine bottles are allowed but no beer bottles.  We will provide plastic cups if needed.

Any excessive use of alcohol will result in the immediate termination of the trip with no recourse.

What happens if my group size changes after booking?

For Private Charters:

The group size you specify at booking will slot you into a specific boat size.  As long as you stay within the specified range (1-6 passengers, 7-12 passengers or 13-18 passengers), nothing more needs to be done.

If your group size grows into the next range of passengers, please contact us to see if a larger boat is available at your requested time.

If your group size shrinks into a smaller range of passengers, please contact us to see if a smaller boat is available at your requested time.

Please contact us directly to add/remove seats.  We have a limited amount of space on our group charters and each seat you initially reserve must be paid for unless you cancel ahead of time.  Cancellations/adjustments are subject to our cancellation policy (please see additional FAQ’s).

Do children and infants count towards the passenger capacity?

Yes.  Each of our vessels is rated for a certain capacity by the United States Coast Guard and the USCG does not differentiate between children and adults.  A 12 person capacity means twelve human beings, for example – regardless of age.

Will I get seasick?

Tours that stay within the protected waters of Pleasant Bay carry virtually zero risk of seasickness.  The swell and chop that you might encounter on the open Atlantic Ocean or Nantucket Sound is simply not present within the bay.

Nevertheless, concerned passengers are welcome to experiment with over-the-counter remedies containing ginger, which has been shown to calm an upset stomach.  Consult your physician if you have any further questions or concerns.

Are there any age restrictions or physical restrictions?

Our Pleasant Bay scenic tours are appropriate for all ages and have no age restrictions.

Those with mobility issues must be able to walk down the resort dock (pictured on our About Us page) and step up into the vessel.  Rarely is this an issue, but it should be mentioned.

Are dogs allowed on your vessels?

On a case by case basis we may allow dogs on our Scenic Boat Tours.  A few caveats:

  • Dogs are restricted to private charters only.  No group tours.
  • Dogs are restricted to certain vessels only.  Please specify in your booking notes that you will be bringing a dog and we will slot you into the appropriate boat.  Failure to notify us may mean that your dog will not be able to board certain vessels.  No refunds or credits will be offered if your group is unable to bring a dog aboard if you fail to notify us in advance!
  • No more than one medium/large dog per party, or two lap dogs (20lbs or less).
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog (scratches, stains, ripped upholstery, etc).
  • Dogs must remain leashed at all times while walking through resort property and on any local beaches your tour may include.
  • We do not stock life jackets for dogs.  Please bring your own if necessary.

Do you provide life jackets for children?

Yes, we have life jackets for all shapes and sizes (even infants).  While we recommend that everybody wear a life jacket on our boats, by law only those 12 and younger have to wear one at all times.  Your boat will have enough life jackets on board for everybody in your group.  Younger children are welcome to bring their own life jacket if they are more comfortable, provided it is Coast Guard approved (no arm floaties, please!).
