The Graco Modes Element Travel System is the 3-in-1 stroller that converts from Infant Car Seat Carrier to Infant Stroller (the Toddler Seat reclines for this option) to Toddler Stroller for years of strolling together. For even more riding options, baby can ride parent-facing or forward-facing, thanks to a reversible stroller seat. The travel system includes the Graco SnugRide 35 Lite LX Infant Car Seat.

With Modes Element Travel System, you can take all your necessities with you—a parent’s tray with cup holders and removable child’s tray with cup holders keep drinks and snacks at hand, and a large storage basket holds on-the-go essentials. Parents also appreciate the multi-position reclining seat, large canopy, seat recline and a convertible 3- or 5-point harness that grows with your child.

The lightweight Graco SnugRide 35 Lite LX supports baby in comfort from 4-35 lbs and up to 32”. The carrier itself weighs just 7.2 lbs, making it easier to transition baby from the car to the stroller (and back).

The car seat features a 4-position adjustable base with a level indicator that helps to eliminate guesswork—you’ll know you installed it correctly. You can also choose two hassle-free installation methods: the LATCH system or your car’s seat belt.

It comes with a two-piece infant head and body support that keeps baby snug and comfy during the ride. The rotating canopy also provides shade and sun protection no matter the angle.

Both the Graco Modes Nest and the Element Travel Systems are well-built but the former appears to display more premium touches.

The Graco Modes Nest stroller is made with lightweight aluminum frame and has quality fabric that’s baby skin-friendly. The stroller seat is covered with a large canopy with a peekaboo window so it’s easy to check on baby even when the canopy is spread. The child tray can be removed easily if needed and the extra-large basket underneath is expandable. Other premium touches include the leatherette handle and a removable parent’s cup holder.

On the other hand, the Graco Modes Element stroller appears to be the most basic stroller in the Graco Modes series. To put it simply, it has all the design features of the Graco Modes Nest except the leatherette handle and the removable cup holder. What it has instead is a parent’s tray with 2 cup holders.

Both Graco Modes travel systems are 3-in-1, but the Nest has the Slide2Me adjustable seat height feature.

The Graco Modes Travel System is designed to be the stroller that can be used from infant to toddler age. The included infant car seat in both strollers can be easily attached to the body in one click. The stroller seat can be used as an infant bassinet and converted into a toddler seat.

However, the Graco Modes Nest stroller has the Slide2Me feature. This makes adjusting the height of the toddler seat or the infant car seat possible for parents who prefer having baby closer to them.

Lastly, and this will be very helpful for parents who frequently travel, the strollers can be easily folded with just one step and they stand on their own, too.

Both Graco Modes travel systems are wise investments in the long run. You’ll just have to choose the one that fits your budget.

The Graco Modes Nest Travel System has a higher price tag than the Graco Modes Element Travel System and this is because it has more premium features. Then again, both travel systems are made by Graco , a trusted baby gear brand since the 1950s. This being said, either of the two models will be worth the investment. It’s now up to you whether you’ll settle for the one with the higher price (yet premium features) or just stick with the most basic model.

Recline the toddler seat to the desired position. There are 4 recline positions. I'm unable to recline the seat. It's suppose to recline in 4 different positions. I pull up on the bar and nothing happens. What can I do to get this to recline. Thank you.

To recline the toddler seat of the Graco Modes Click Connect stroller, please follow these steps: 1. Lower the stroller seat back to its lowest position. 2. Find the 2 Click Connect™ mounts on the stroller. 3. Insert the car seat into the stroller and push it down until the latches snap into the Click Connect™ mounts. 4. Make sure the infant car seat is securely attached by pulling up on it.
