Popped in on our way back to our hotel we could have sat outside in the beer garden but it was a bit smokey. Went inside 3 or 4 different rooms to choose from. The main room/bar had a live DJ which was quite loud... so we went into one of the side rooms to chat. Comfy chairs and we could hear the music at a comfortable level. Quite busy but plenty of seating. Drinks were a reasonable price and the usual choice. More

We had a pint outside on a nice day--lots of outdoor seating, but the experience was very average, and we probably would not try it again.

Called in with friends for a drink, nice atmosphere, shame there were tvs everywhere you looked, be nice to have an area where you not bombarded with sport, although hubby didnt mind.

Approached this place about 13.40, to see the doors closed. We returned later on in the afternoon. The doors were open. We entered barman still with his coat on. After we sat down we realised why. It was freezing cold. No heating in the pub... at all. Quickly finished our drinks and left. More

We have a large range of home cooked foods, straight from the kitchen. From various meat filled pies, to classics such as fish & chips, lasagne and burgers, without even mentioning our stunning new Pizza menu, we're sure we can offer you something to whet your appetite. With a new menu coming soon, these really are exciting times. You can also now get our pizzas online through the Just-Eat platform. 

We also have a new coffee machine which provides a great bean to cup coffee in no time at all, as well as a range of delicious desserts for the sweet toothed amongst you.

Finally we offer a wonderful Sunday roast menu at a very affordable price.

Events and Specials

We host regular live music or Karaoke on a Friday night (check our what's on page or Facebook for details) with varying genres.

Ken & Mary host their quiz on a Thursday and Sunday evening, with free beer to be won as well as cash prizes through card bingo & open the box.

We can also provide room hire and a wonderful buffet service for private functions.
