50 Cent Unveils ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’’ 20th Anniversary Tour Dates

Veteran rapper, actor and entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has announced dates for a global tour in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of his galvanizing debut album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’.” Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits, The Final Lap Tour will make stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more. Additional markets are expected to be announced soon. 

Busta Rhymes will support on all dates, and Jeremih will support on all North American dates.

The tour will launch on Friday, July 21 at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City and the European leg will commence on Thursday, September 28 at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Additional dates to be announced in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

In related news, in February 50 and Fox announced a non-exclusive broadcast direct deal to develop scripted dramas, live-action comedies and animated series through his production company G-Unit Film & Television.

North American Tickets: Verified Fan will be used for The Final Lap Tour to ensure more tickets get into the hands of fans. Fans in North America can register now through Sunday, May 7th at 11:59 PM ET for the Verified Fan presale CLICK HERE. Fans who are selected to receive an access code will be able to participate in the Verified Fan presale starting Wednesday, May 10th. 50 Cent Commemorates 20 Years of Getting Rich, Not Dying With Final Lap Tour

To commemorate two full decades of sipping Bacardí with shorties on their birthdays, 50 Cent will embark on the Final Lap Tour 2023 , marking the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough record, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ . Busta Rhymes and Jeremih will open all the North American dates. The trek kicks off in July and runs through September before 50 Cent takes the show to Europe.

Tickets will be available to participants in Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program on May 10. Concertgoers can register now through May 7 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Tickets will then officially go on sale to everyone on May 12.

While Bacardí might be the focus of Get Rich or Die Tryin’s “In da Club,” the liquor 50 Cent will likely be more excited about on the tour is his own Sire Spirits brands, Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne. Tour promoter Live Nation is highlighting Sire Spirits as a show of support for Black-owned brands.

50 Cent has announced a big tour of North America in partnership with Live Nation, marking his first full fledged trek in many years.

Last year, 50 toured across the world in two batches for his Greenlight Gang World Tour where he hit markets like Spain, Brazil, Israeal, Greece, UAE, Poland, Italy, Germany, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Armenia, Norway and more, selling out to crowds of over 40,000 at some venues.

This time, the G-Unit boss is bringing the experience back to the US and beyond to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Get Rich or Die Tryin . Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits, The Final Lap Tour will make stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more. Additional markets are also set to be announced soon.

The tour will feature support from special guest and longtime friend, Busta Rhymes, across all dates while Jeremih will be supporting on all North American dates with more special guests to be announced. The first date will be on Friday, July 21st at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT and the European leg will commence on Thursday, September 28th at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Additional dates are expected to be announced in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

In case you might have forgotten, 50 Cent is first and foremost a rapper. Although lately he’s gotten more attention for his behind the scene moves in television and his trolling on social media , the Queens native is hitting the road for a global tour that includes Busta Rhymes and Jeremih as well as special guests.

Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits,  The Final Lap Tour will hits citiies like Cleveland, Virginia Beach, Charlotte and Brooklyn stateside before heading overseas and arriving in locations like Berlin, Zurich and Oslo. Also, additional markets will be added in the following months.

The Final Lap Tour kicks off on Friday, July 21 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT and will wrap its stateside leg at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Detroit on Sunday, September 17. From there, the internation portion starts on Thursday, September 28 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will wrap up on Sunday, Nov 12 at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England.

Of course, 50 Cent’s own Sire Spirits brands, Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne, will be available throghout the tour, local laws permitting.

North American Tickets:  Verified Fan will be used for The Final Lap Tour to ensure more tickets get into the hands of fans. Fans in North America can register now through  Sunday, May 7th at 11:59 PM ET  for the Verified Fan presale CLICK  HERE . 50 Cent is hitting the road one more time.

The hip-hop icon has announced that he will embark on a global tour in honor of the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ .

Produced by Live Nation and presented by Sire Spirits, “The Final Lap Tour” will make stops across North America and Europe starting this summer.

Fans can expect to see 50 performing his chart-topping hits and fan favorites, along with songs that have not been performed live in decades. Busta Rhymes will support on all dates and Jeremih on all North American dates, with more special guests to be announced.

The North American leg kicks off July 21 in Salt Lake City and travels to Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, and more. The European leg will commence on Sept. 28 in Amsterdam. Additional dates will be announced for Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe.

Released on Feb. 6, 2003, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ spawned multi-platinum hits including “In Da Club,” “21 Questions,” and “P.I.M.P.” It remains 50 Cent’s best-selling album to date with over 9 million copies sold.

Tickets for North America and Europe go on sale to the public starting Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans in North America can register for a pre-sale through Sunday, May 7.

50 Cent born Curtis James Jackson III is an award-winning rapper entrepreneur actor and producer from Queens New York. The Final Lap Tour will feature the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favorite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades. Plus, the tour will feature support from special guest and longtime friend, Busta Rhymes, across all dates and Jeremih supporting on all North American dates with more special guests to be announced.

The Final Lap Tour will feature the rap icon performing dozens of fan-favorite and chart-topping hits along with select tracks that have not been performed live in decades. Kicking off with its North American leg, the first date will be on Friday, July 21 at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT and the European leg will commence on Thursday, September 28 at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Thanks to overwhelming fan demand with close to half a million tickets sold, the rapper is announcing more dates across North America and Europe, adding stops in new markets of Irvine (CA), Baltimore (MD), Holmdel (NJ), and Newcastle (England), plus second dates in previously announced markets for Montreal, Toronto, Brooklyn, Dublin, Manchester, London, and Riga.

MELBOURNE, Wednesday May 31, 2023 – Today, EMMY® and GRAMMY® award-winning multi hyphenate, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson , announced that he will embark on a global tour in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of his game-changing debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Produced by Live Nation, The Final Lap Tour will make stops across North America and Europe including Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Amsterdam, Oslo, Paris, and many more, before heading to Australia and New Zealand in December this year.

The Final Lap Tour  will kick off in Perth on December 2 at RAC Arena, following by Adelaide Entertainment Arena on December 4, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on December 6, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on December 8, concluding at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on December 10.

The Live Nation Presale commences Tuesday, June 6 at 1pm running for 48 hours.

Meek Mill Calls Out Wale for Taking Picture with Dean Stay Ready

Meek Mill took to social media to call out former MMG labelmate Wale after he was seen taking a picture with the Dreamchasers ‘ rapper’s former best friend, Dean Stay Ready .

“Wale never liked me,” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Now I’ma treat him like the streets every time I see him … I gave him 1000 chances, these guys be thinking they’re linking with the enemy, clown-ass nigga I wish I would’ve known the other day, I would’ve stretched you!”

Wale responded , stating he didn’t think taking a picture with Dean would be this serious. “When you get in other people’s unserious drama in this industry, 90% of the time they be back friends… eventually,” he wrote. “And then you look silly… in the end… so I love minding my business. If a photo can create such vitriol, one has to ask himself some questions. Happy Monday.”

Meek had more responses for Wale: “I ignored this because if this was true you would be in danger … but now I see you around guys that’s on full Meek campaigns, I get you… I wouldn’t have dated you and made you uncomfortable around my family the other day! That’s why you tried to post Mike but hate me lol.”

City Girls’ JT and Yung Miami Go Back & Forth on Social Media

April has been quite the month in rap, with multiple beefs and back-and-forths occurring both in person and on social media. Earlier today, City Girls artists Yung Miami and JT engaged in a back-and-forth on X (formerly known as Twitter) after Yung Miami accused JT of sneak dissing for weeks on the platform, as well as in her songs “ No Bars ” and “ Sideways .”

Yung Miami wrote, “A bitch been sneak dissing me for weeks and I ain’t say shit what a bitch mad at me fa” JT replied, “Oh, Ms. Mama, this your LAST day playing dumb!”

Yung Miami continued, “For you to come on here and try to play the victim is crazy! Jatavia, you been sneak dissing me for the LAST COUPLE OF DAYS!!! I haven’t said shit to you! You made two whole songs dissing me, and I still rapped your sh-t with my chest and showed love. So what’s the real problem here?”

“Girl, the internet already told you which songs were about you,” said JT. The one saying ‘it’s city girl shit even when it ain’t city girl shit’ that was released under City Girls or the one that says ‘riding solo but I’m still in a group’? Get your phone back from whoever this is, baby, don’t play.”

Back in October, City Girls released their third studio album, ‘RAW (Real Ass Whores)’. Supported by their previously released singles, including “Good Love” featuring Usher , “ Pinata ,” “ I Need a Thug ,” and JT’s solo freestyle, “ No Bars, ” ‘RAW’ featured contributions from Muni Long , Lil Durk , and Kim Petras. The album serves as a follow-up to City Girls’ 2020 project, ‘ City on Lock .’ The previous project was itself a sequel to their 2018 debut album, ‘Girl Code,’ and gained acclaim, supported by hit singles like “Jobs” and “Pussy Talk,” featuring Doja Cat .

The two have since embarked on their solo careers, with JT recently releasing “ Sideways ,” and Yung Miami releasing “ 50/50 Freestyle .” She is set to release her next single “CFWM” with Skilla Baby on Friday, April 12th.

J. Cole Issues Apology Over Kendrick Lamar Diss

On Sunday, April 9th, J. Cole headlined the last night of his fourth annual Dreamville Festival in front of a crowd of 52,000 people in Raleigh, North Carolina. Opening the show with “Crocodile Tears,” the event took an unexpected turn when Cole began a monologue, revealing his thoughts on dissing Kendrick Lamar in “7 Minute Drill.”

The record, a last-minute addition to his Friday release, “ Might Delete Later ,” was a response to Kendrick’s verse on Future & Metro Boomin ‘s “ We Don’t Trust You ” LP cut, “ Like That .” J. Cole stated that his response was “lame” and that he had been unable to sleep comfortably. After acknowledging Kendrick’s talent, he informed his manager, Ib, that he would also be removing the record from streaming services.

“I just want to come up here and publicly be like, bruh, that was the lamest, goofiest shit. I say all that to say it made me feel like 10 years ago when I was moving incorrectly. And I pray that God will line me back up on my purpose and on my path. I pray that my n-gga really didn’t feel no way and if he did, my n-gga, I got my chin out. Take your best shot. I’ma take that shit on the chin, boy. Do what you do.”

He continued with “And I pray that y’all forgive a n-gga for the misstep and I can get back to my true path. Because I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, the past two days felt terrible. It let me know how good I’ve been sleeping for the past 10 years.”

Produced by Live Nation, the 31-city tour kicks off on September 6 at SOMA in San Diego making stops across North America in Houston, New York, Chicago and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles at Hollywood Palladium on October 25.
