The 44 Most Anticipated Tours of 2024: Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Olivia Rodrigo, and More

By Pitchfork

Mitski Burna Boy Olivia Rodrigo and more

It’s looking like a busy year for some of the world’s biggest touring artists, with packed schedules from Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Bad Bunny, Foo Fighters, the Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Green Day, and many more. A few touring institutions, meanwhile, are just wrapping up, from Adele’s time in Las Vegas to Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden residency and Bob Dylan’s seemingly never-ending Rough and Rowdy Ways trek. Some things, however, just never seem to change: You can expect the Ty Segalls and King Gizzards of the world to feature on these roundups till kingdom come, with reliable indie-rock staples like Destroyer, Wednesday, and Alvvays still out in force fighting for the cause, too.

After a residency that has spanned the best part of a year and brought hundreds of thousands of Adele fans to Las Vegas, the Tottenham superstar is closing the run with dates from January through June. “This residency, these shows have changed my life. I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have,” she said in the announcement. “It’s just made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bloody good at it and that it is 100% where I belong! So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever!” –Jazz Monroe

In the meantime, Murdoch announced a memoirish novel and the band appeared on The Simpsons . –Jazz Monroe

While the residency is coming to a close, Joel does not yet plan to retire. –Hattie Lindert

The riotous Welsh rock band Mclusky, who last toured North America in 2004, were primed for a cross-Atlantic comeback run until disaster struck: bandleader Andrew “Falco” Falkous found himself working through a debilitating bout of tinnitus and other inner-ear problems. After some recuperation and with hearing protection in tow, Falkous and the band are due to make good on their return in March. Tool haven’t released new music since 2019’s Fear Inoculum , but they’ve remained busy on the road. Following headlining and festival dates last year, the band has stadium and arena shows in January and February. Wondering what wild outfit Maynard James Keenan will wear this time? Will it be a blonde wig, red lipstick, and prosthetic breasts? A leather jumpsuit and a wild mohawk? Might as well go to one of these shows and find out. –Evan Minsker and Matthew Ismael Ruiz

Torres: 2024 Tour

One can never be sure exactly what to expect from a Ty Segall show, especially here in the post–Freedom Band era. His sets can be electric and wild, acoustic and intimate, maybe a bit psychedelic. With his 2024 dates behind the new album Three Bells , you can likely expect him to lean into his prog rock impulses. After some West Coast dates in February, he’s heading across North America in April and May. –Evan Minsker

Drake Adds 12 Dates to ‘It’s All a Blur’ Tour With 21 Savage

By Larisha Paul

Larisha Paul

Drake is coming. The rapper added 12 new dates to his It’s All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, his first stretch of shows in North America since the “Aubrey & the Three Migos” tour hit arenas in 2018.

The It’s All a Blur tour will kick off in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 29 and extend through Oct. 7 with a final show in Toronto, Ontario. Drake will make stops in Nashville, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, New York, Brooklyn, Montreal, Inglewood, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and more, bringing the tour to a massive 54 shows this summer.

The new set of dates includes a fourth night of shows in both Inglewood and Brooklyn, as well as second nights in Glendale and Nashville. Drake will now also perform on new dates in Columbus, Memphis, Denver, Austin, Milwaukee, and Charlotte. The tour will close out with back-to-back hometown shows at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

The tour announcement follows the reveal of J.Cole’s 2023 Dreamville Festival lineup, which features Drake as a headliner. Since his last tour, Drake has released two mixtapes – Care Package and Dark Lane Demo Tapes – and three studio albums, including 2021’s Certified Lover Boy , the 21 Savage-assisted Her Loss , and his dance music opus Honestly, Nevermind.

History of Hip-Hop Music

Hip-hop is one of the most popular musical genres of the modern era. Although commonly referred to as rap music, hip-hop incorporates more than just rapping, which is just a part of it – hip-hop denotes the whole subculture behind the musical movement.

Bronx, New York City is the birthplace of hip-hop, which was mainly popularized by African Americans, Latino Americans, and Caribbean Americans living in the inter-city in the 1970s.

Hip-hop didn’t become mainstream until 1979. The musical genre started to emerge from underground block parties in ghetto neighborhoods. The first mainstream and commercial style of hip-hop is called old-school hip-hop, which was popular between 1979 to 1983. The second generation of hip-hop was called new school hip-hop, after which the genre entered the Golden age of hip-hop between 1985 to 1995.

The subgenres of hip-hop include drill, trap, alternative hip-hop, gangsta rap, and mumble rap. In 2017, hip-hop surpassed rock to be the most popular genre in the USA.

Biggest Rap Concerts

Looking for some fun rap concerts? You can find them at the Rolling Loud Festival. This 3-day festival is the largest in the world and takes place in multiple cities.

Founded by none other than the great Jay-Z, Made in America is a must-see rap festival that takes place annually in Philadelphia, PA. The shows here have a reputation for featuring rising stars in the genre.

If you happen to be in Texas or close by, you should definitely check out JMBLYA. This festival takes place in multiple cities in the Lone Star state, including Austin, the Live Music capital of the world.

What Seats are the Best at a Concert

Rapper concerts tend to be highly exciting and energetic. You’ll be standing and dancing to the rhythmic beats of the music. You also would want to be as close as possible to the stage. However, do not stand too close as the sound quality is not the best at that point.

How to Buy Cheap Concert Tickets

Are you looking for some high-octane hip-hop concerts? We can help you find tickets at highly affordable prices. We list tickets from various vendors throughout the US. All our ticket sources are verified and authentic, so there’s nothing you should worry about.

You can view all rap concerts coming up on our event calendar. We frequently update our listings with the newest concerts so that you never miss anything. Use our list to find your favorite rappers on tour.

$uicideboy$ coming to Frost Bank Center for annual tour

Since the debut of the tour in 2019, it has combined rap and hardcore genres.

Spencer Heath , Digital Journalist

SAN ANTONIO – New Orleans duo $uicideboy$ is coming to the Frost Bank Center in August for their annual Grey Day Tour.

Cousins Ruby da Cherry and $crim are slated to embark on a 41-date tour around the United States.

Recommended Videos

Opening acts for the tour include Denzel Curry, Pouya, HAARPER, Shakewell, and Ekkstacy.

Since the debut of the tour in 2019, it has combined rap and hardcore genres while serving as a breeding ground for up-and-coming artists, a news release said.

$uicideboy$, pioneers of SoundCloud rap, formed back in 2014. Since then, the duo has amassed over 24 billion streams. Their raw, unfiltered style has resonated with people experiencing pain.

For the tour, $uicideboy$ partnered with PLUS1 to donate $1 per ticket to people needing mental health assistance.

Tickets for the Grey Day Tour go on sale Friday, April 5, beginning at 10 a.m. on the  Frost Bank Center’s  website or Ticketmaster.

Worth the trip: Taylor Swift, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo & more huge concerts for Delawareans

rapper tours coming up

From Taylor Swift to Drake , there are a ton of huge shows happening this year, yet many of the biggest names won't be coming to Delaware.

But that doesn't mean concert lovers should be confined to only enjoying shows in the First State.

Here are 16 must-see shows worth traveling out of Delaware to see in North America. Yep, that includes Canada and Mexico. But most of these shows are in the United States.

Taylor Swift

Pop superstar Taylor Swift is on the international portion of her “The Eras Tour,” before returning to the United States for more shows Friday, Oct. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 3. You and other Swifties will likely hear tunes from her newly announced album "The Tortured Poets Department" that drops April 19.

For tickets, visit Taylorswift.com .

Rap icon Drake is buzzing hard on the "It's All A Blur Tour," which includes fellow emcee J. Cole. As if two music stars weren't already enough, Chicago drill rapper Lil Durk is now part of the tour, Drake announced on his Instagram page earlier this month, promising fans this musical adventure will be "Bigger & Bigger." Dates for "It's All A Blur" are Monday, Feb. 12, through Tuesday, April 16.

For tickets, visit drakerelated.com .

Rolling Stones

Folks can show off their moves like Jagger when The Rolling Stones work the stage on their "Hackney Diamonds" tour, in support of their new album. Fans can expect to hear the rock titans dish up their most popular songs such as “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Satisfaction” and more, plus fan-favorite deep cuts and music from "Hackney Diamonds." Tour dates are Sunday, April 28, through Wednesday, July 17.

For tickets, visit rollingstones.com .

The only artist to stand between Taylor Swift topping the album most streamed globally on Spotify in 2023 is rapper/singer Bad Bunny . The Puerto Rican superstar had the most-streamed album for the second straight year with "Un Verano Sin Ti," racking up over 4.5 billion streams globally. He's bringing his "Most Wanted Tour" across the country from Wednesday, Feb. 21, through Sunday, May 26.

For tickets, visit mostwantedtour.com .

Bruce Springsteen

Springsteen and the E Street Band had to cut their tour short last year after The Boss was sidelined by peptic ulcer disease. This year the rock icon is back with tour dates from Tuesday, March 19, to Sunday, April 21, before going overseas. He'll be back in North America from Thursday, Aug. 15, to Friday, Nov. 22.

Bear in mind, some of those sold-out gigs are sandwiched between dates when tickets are still available.

For tickets, visit noahkahan.com .

From performing at this year's Super Bowl halftime show to dropping the new album "Coming Home," R&B sensation Usher is already hitting the ground running in 2024. Usher is celebrating his longstanding music career, which started in the '90s, on his "Past Present Future" tour on Saturday, Aug. 24, through Thursday, Oct. 31. Tickets went on sale Feb. 12.

For tickets, visit usherworld.com .

Morgan Wallen

Tearing it up in the country music scene is Morgan Wallen . His concerts were highly coveted last year, and this year is looking like a déjà vu. The "Whiskey Glasses" singer is touring Thursday, April 4, through Friday, Aug. 9.

For tickets, visit morganwallen.com .

Green Day's "The Saviors Tour" features the band playing "Dookie" and "American Idiot" in its entirety. Tour dates are Monday, July 29, to Saturday, Sept. 28. The band is joined by luminaries Rancid and The Smashing Pumpkins, plus the rising band The Linda Lindas.

He'll close out the year with George Strait and Little Big Town in Las Vegas on Saturday, Dec. 7. Stapleton's tour also includes appearances from Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Elle King, The War and Treaty, Allen Stone, Marcus King, Turnpike Troubadours, Grace Potter, Nikki Lane, plus Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives.

This includes music from her new album "Pink Friday 2," a project that offers features from Drake ("Needle"), J. Cole ("Let Me Calm Down"), Lil Wayne ("RNB") and others. Rod Wave Arrested In Florida For Possession Of A Firearm By A Convicted Felon

Today (April 3), Rod Wave was taken into custody in Florida for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Per the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office , the rapper was apprehended in Pinellas County after allegedly fleeing police. While not much is currently known about Wave’s arrest, his bond was set to $0.

“As much as he prays in his songs, he’ll be aight,” stated one user underneath The Neighborhood Talk’s post . Another comment, which amassed over 1,000 likes, read, “He gon’ be crying for an entire album ’bout this s**t.” Others called for the musician’s freedom.

Check out more reactions below.

Rod Wave in jail? I can’t breathe 💔 — Chef Parlay💗 (@1snowg) April 3, 2024

Notably, Wave has rapped about prison quite a bit in his songs, whether it be himself or family members being behind bars. On 2018’s “Red Light,” he crooned, “Alone in my jail cell, I remember/ Alone in my jail cell, one cold December/ I hit my knees and prayed for better days.”

Meanwhile, 2023’s “Rap Beef” contained lyrics like, “They want n**gas in a cell, they don’t want you to win/ They post when I go to jail, not when I give back to the kids.”

It’s worth mentioning the “Cuban Links” hitmaker was previously arrested in his hometown of St. Petersburg, FL in 2022 on a felony charge of battery by strangulation , which was later dropped . He allegedly entered his ex-girlfriend’s home and choked her.

In 2023, Wave put out his fourth studio album, Nostalgia . It spanned 18 songs with guest appearances from Sadie Jean, 21 Savage, and Wet. Standout tracks included “Long Journey,” “Turks & Caicos,” and “Boyz Don’t Cry,” among others.

The Florida native embarked on his “Nostalgia Tour” later that year. Ari Lennox , Eelmatic, and Toosii joined him as supporting acts. The cross-country trek made stops in Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Charlotte, and more.

rapper tours coming up

Between April helping bring snowbird and tourist season to a close with a stacked lineup of events , and the start of summer blockbuster tour season, some of the top names in music and stand-up comedy will be visiting the Tampa Bay area over the next three months.

It all begins this week when one of the biggest pop stars of the past 40 years visits Amalie Arena on her tour celebrating a four-decade career of hits while, later in April, Raymond James Stadium features the kickoff show for a country superstar's tour and a music festival making its debut at the venue.

100-plus fun things to do in April in Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Punta Gorda

Ticket Newsletter: Sign up to receive restaurant news and reviews plus info on things to do every Friday

MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre will reopen its doors for a slew of shows starting in May, which will also see the return of one of the biggest names in comedy — playing a far more intimate than usual venue — and the most-streamed musician in the world for three of the past four years on Spotify. And as we officially enter summer in June, the blockbuster shows will keep on coming, including a rapper with multiple No. 1 hits to her name visiting while on her Hot Girl Summer Tour.

To help keep track of it all, here are our choices for the biggest concerts and comedy shows visiting the Tampa Bay area including Sarasota-Manatee in April, May and June. Event details are subject to change.

April 4; Amalie Arena, Tampa; amaliearena.com

The pop star visits Tampa on The Celebration Tour, a retrospective concert featuring some of her best-known songs over four decades of releasing music. For Madonna, that includes No. 1 hits such as "Like a Virgin," "Papa Don't Preach," "Like a Prayer," "Vogue," "Justify My Love," "Take a Bow" and "Music."

Kevin James

April 7; Seminole Hard Rock Event Center, Tampa; seminolehardrocktampa.com

He may be best known for his roles in the sitcoms "The King of Queens" and "Kevin Can Wait," or in films including the "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and "Grown Ups" movies, but Kevin James started out as a comic and still performs stand-up, releasing the special "Irregardless" earlier this year.

Billy Strings

April 12-13; Yuengling Center, Tampa; yuenglingcenter.com

As his back-to-back nights of shows headlining Tampa arena Yuengling Center would suggest, Billy Strings has become a star in bluegrass and beyond, earning three Grammy nominations this year alone, including for his collaborations with Willie Nelson and Dierks Bentley. He won a Best Bluegrass Album Grammy for "Home" in 2021.

Alan Walker

April 13; Sailor Circus Arena, Sarasota; circusartswonderball.com

The second annual electronic dance music concert fundraiser Wonderball, benefiting Sarasota's Circus Arts Conservatory youth education programs, features Alan Walker, who's been named to DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs list every year since 2016 (landing at No. 11 last year) and shared bills with acts including Rihanna and Justin Bieber.

Leanne Morgan

April 13-14; Tampa Theatre, Tampa; tampatheatre.org

Though Leanne Morgan may be relatively new to the national stand-up comedy scene (her current tour is called Just Getting Started), she's already highly successful, releasing the Netflix special "I'm Every Woman" last year and selling out venues. She'll perform four shows at Tampa Theatre, which were set for January before being rescheduled.

April 18; Seminole Hard Rock Event Center

Though he first became known to many people from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall, Ron White has became a stand-up star in his own right, with specials including 2003's gold-selling "Drunk in Public" and 2018's "If You Quit Listening, I'll Shut Up" on Netflix.

Kenny Chesney

April 20; Raymond James Stadium, Tampa; raymondjamesstadium.com

The country singer will kick off his Sun Goes Down Tour with a return visit to Tampa's Raymond James Stadium, which also comes after the release of his newest album "Born" earlier this year. He'll be joined by Zac Brown Band — an act that's headlined amphitheaters here before themselves — Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker.

April 26; Amalie Arena

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted group featuring sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson, who received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award last year, is known for songs such as "Magic Man," "Barracuda," "Crazy on You," "These Days" and "Alone." They'll be joined by fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick ("I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender," "The Flame"), whose lead singer Robin Zander is a longtime Pinellas County resident.

Breakaway Music Festival

April 26-27; Raymond James Stadium

While Sunset Music Festival, the annual Memorial Day weekend electronic music festival at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium, won't take place this year , another festival showcasing the same genre at the same venue will. Zedd, the DJ known for such inescapable hits as "Stay" with Alessia Cara and the Song of the Year Grammy-nominated "The Middle" with Maren Morris and Grey, will headline along with Illenium, Kaskade and Florida's own Sofi Tukker.

Indigo Girls

May 3; Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater; rutheckerdhall.com

The folk duo were introduced to a new generation when their 1989 song "Closer to Fine" appeared in last year's biggest box-office hit, "Barbie." This year will see the release of two movies centered on them: the documentary "It's Only Life After All," which appeared along with the pair themselves at last year's Sarasota Film Festival, and the musical "Glitter & Doom."

Brooks & Dunn

May 4; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa; midflorida.com/about-us/amphitheatre

The '90s and '00s country music hitmakers continue their reunion that started in the 2010s, including the 2019 album "Reboot," which features the duo performing some of their biggest hits joined by contemporary country musicians such as "Brand New Man" with Luke Combs.

David Spade

May 4; Ruth Eckerd Hall

First rising to fame as a "Saturday Night Live" cast member, Spade now co-hosts the podcasts "Fly on the Wall" and "Superfly" with his former "SNL" costar Dana Carvey and remains on TV hosting the Fox game show "Snake Oil," in addition to continuing to perform stand-up.

May 9; The BayCare Sound, Clearwater; rutheckerdhall.com/baycare-sound

The Supremes lead singer turned successful solo star's numerous career accolades include two Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards (the latter just last year as a member of the Supremes), a Special Tony Award, an Oscar nomination for her role in "Lady Sings the Blues" and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

May 9; Amalie Arena

The pop-rock trio comprising brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan Met has worked their way up from playing mid-size venues to headlining Yuengling Center, MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre and now Amalie Arena. This tour supports the release of the group's latest album, last year's "The Maybe Man."

Chris Stapleton

May 10; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

Playing MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre just a few months ago for a Veteran's Day concert also featuring rockers Imagine Dragons and R&B singer H.E.R., country singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton returns to the venue, this time joined by Grace Potter (who also headlines Tampa Bay Blues Festival in April) and Nikki Lane.

We Them One's Comedy Tour

May 11; Amalie Arena

The comedy tour is hosted by Mike Epps, who this year has already released his latest stand-up special "Ready to Sell Out" on Netflix and co-starred in the movies "Madame Web" and "The Underdoggs." He's joined by Deray Davis, DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, Karlous Miller, Mojo Brookzz and Lil Duval, from his namesake Florida county.

May 11; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

The Irish singer-songwriter rose to fame with his Song of the Year Grammy-nominated No. 2 hit "Take Me to Church," which became the opening track on his 2014 self-titled debut album, and continues to release music including last year's full-length "Unreal Unearth" and this year's accompanying EP "Unheard."

Roy Wood Jr.

May 11; Tampa Theatre

The stand-up comedian, Florida A&M University graduate and former correspondent on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" has also appeared in films including "Confess, Fletch" and series such as Steven Soderbergh's "Command Z."

Amon Amarth

May 18; Yuengling Center

While the metal band hails all the way from Sweden, they'll be joined at this Tampa show with acts from much closer by: Cannibal Corpse and Obituary, two of the best-known groups in Tampa's storied history of death metal. Texas' Frozen Soul rounds out the bill.

May 18-19; David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa; strazcenter.org

One of the biggest names in comedy today, who's headlined Amalie Arena before, Kevin Hart will play the much more intimate Straz Center in his next visit to Tampa as he tests out "brand new material." Hart was this year's recipient of the Kennedy Center's Mark Twain Prize and co-stars in this summer's upcoming movie "Borderlands."

May 21; Amalie Arena

Shortly after co-hosting the famed Met Gala in May, Bad Bunny will visit Tampa on his Most Wanted Tour. It's an apt tour name for the Puerto Rican rapper/singer, who was Spotify's most-streamed artist in the world from 2020 to 2022 and whose last three albums have all topped the Billboard 200.

Dave Matthews Band

May 22; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

The jam rock group makes their semi-regular summer appearance at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre after releasing its latest album "Walk Around the Moon" last year, which was preceded by seven consecutive albums of theirs that topped the Billboard 200.

Mike Birbiglia

May 29; The Mahaffey Theater, St. Petersburg; themahaffey.com

The stand-up comedian and actor whose latest special "The Old Man & The Pool" premiered on Netflix last year, and who you may have also recently seen in the  music video  for pop superstar Taylor Swift's song "Anti-Hero," will come to St. Pete with his latest show "Please Stop the Ride."

Niall Horan

May 31; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

Rising to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction alongside Harry Styles, among others, Niall Horan has since also pursued a solo career that includes last year's No. 2 album "The Show" and serving as a coach on the NBC singing competition series "The Voice."

May 31-June 1; Amalie Arena

The country music crossover success — his 2018 album "Experiment" topped the Billboard 200, and he's collaborated with fellow country musicians as well as artists such as R&B singer Khalid and DJ Marshmello — will play two nights at Amalie Arena on his In the Air Tour.

Tyler Childers

June 5; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

The country/bluegrass musician's 2023 album "Rustin' in the Rain" reached No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and earned five Grammy nominations: Best Country Album, Best Americana Performance for his cover of Kris Kristofferson's "Help Me Make It Through the Night" and Best Country Song, Solo Performance and Music Video for "In Your Love."

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

June 6; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

The rapper and one-time St. Lucie County resident, who scored a No. 1 album with 2018's "Hoodie SZN" and is set to release the new album "Better Off Alone" later this year, will perform along with fellow rappers NLE Choppa, Dess Dior, and Luh Tyler from Tallahassee.

Megan Thee Stallion

June 8; Amalie Arena

The Grammy-winning rapper with the No. 1 hits "Savage Remix" with Beyoncé, "WAP" with Cardi B and this year's solo single "HISS" visits Tampa on her Hot Girl Summer Tour. She'll be joined by fellow rapper GloRilla, whose hits include the Grammy-nominated "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" and "Tomorrow 2," also with Cardi B.

June 8, Tampa Theatre

Many fans discovered Ali Siddiq through his segments on the Comedy Central storytelling series "This is Not Happening," later releasing his one-hour, jail-set special "It's Bigger Than These Bars" on the same channel, but Siddiq has posted his more recent "The Domino Effect" specials on his YouTube page, earning millions of views.

Justin Timberlake

June 14; Amalie Arena

The pop star has been busy lately, releasing his latest solo album "Everything I Thought It Was" in March and reuniting recently with his former group — the Orlando-formed boy band NSYNC — after a hiatus lasting more than 20 years, releasing the single "Better Place" last year for the film "Trolls Band Together."

June 14; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

The Atlanta-by-way-of-Britain rapper tours after releasing his latest No. 1 album, "American Dream," earlier this year. He previously released the 2022 collaborative album "Her Loss" with Drake, with the two rap stars embarking on co-headlining concerts afterwards.

Santana and Counting Crows

June 16; Amalie Arena

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band Santana, led by guitar hero Carlos Santana, co-headlines with "Mr. Jones" pop rockers Counting Crows. If that seems like an unlikely double-bill, remember Santana made a career comeback with 1999's Album of the Year Grammy-winning, 15-times-platinum "Supernatural," featuring many of Counting Crows' contemporaries such as Rob Thomas and Dave Matthews.

Melanie Martinez

June 18; Amalie Arena

The season three "The Voice" contestant turned pop star embarks on the Trilogy Tour, where she'll perform hits from her three Top 10 albums — 2015's "Cry Baby," 2019's "K—12" and last year's "Portals" — joined by the band Beach Bunny and singer Sofia Isella.

Alanis Morissette

June 19; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

Alanis Morissette, whose 1995 album "Jagged Little Pill" became one of the best-selling records of all time (and a Broadway musical), performs with another pioneering woman in rock: Joan Jett, who played in proto-punk band the Runaways before starting a solo career with hits such as her rendition of "I Love Rock 'n Roll" and "Bad Reputation."

Red Hot Chili Peppers

June 21; MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted group has ranked among the genre's most successful acts for decades, including this one, with their 2022 albums "Unlimited Love" and "Return of the Dream Canteen" landing at No. 1 and 3 on the Billboard 200, respectively. Joining them will be rapper and fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee (as a member of N.W.A.) Ice Cube.

Lil Wayne Announces Young Thug Collab "Bless" After Longstanding Feud

A 2015 incident where Wayne's tour bus was shot up made it into the 2022 RICO indictment against Thug and YSL.

Lil Wayne is teasing his Weezy vs. Wheezy project with a major collaboration as Wrestlemania XL week rolls on.

On Wednesday, he tweeted "Bless" will feature Young Thug.

Bless ft @youngthug #WvW PRE-SAVE 🔗 https://t.co/MxcbFAHAQA pic.twitter.com/57EinrkbWf — Lil Wayne WEEZY F (@LilTunechi) April 3, 2024

The feature is significant given the history between Wayne and Young Thug. Before Barter 6, Thug was serious about naming his album Carter 6 to pay homage to Wayne, whom he looked up to and has called his "idol." The title rubbed Weezy fans since Thugger was trying to drop Carter 6 before Wayne could release the long-delayed Tha Carter V.

Weezy addressed it when the artwork dropped, reportedly telling a Mississippi concert crowd, "I want y’all to do me a favor and stop listening to songs of n***as that pose naked on they motherfucking album cover."

Young Thug "Carter 6" (Album Cover) Set To Be Released April 17th pic.twitter.com/cYvYmEdOf3 — DigitalDripped (@DigitalDripped) April 8, 2015

Thug promised he wasn't trolling, but he did stir up debate. After all, Tha Carter V was held hostage by Birdman and Cash Money long enough to result in a lawsuit petitioning for its release.

Much more seriously, Young Thug and Birdman were named as co-conspirators in a 2015 incident where Lil Wayne's tour bus was shot up in Atlanta . Though neither was convicted , the shooting was part of the sweeping 2022 indictment against Young Thug and YSL. The RICO case in Georgia—which has seen the rapper incarcerated for nearly two years—is still ongoing, making this collab all the more fascinating.

Weezy and Thugger worked together on 2014's "Take Kare," which was produced by London on Da Track and was an early lead single off the Rich Gang 2 compilation.

Another strong Valentine's Day option is R&B group Boyz II Men, who had numerous No. 1 hit ballads in the '90s with "End of the Road," "I'll Make Love to You," the duet "One Sweet Day" with Mariah Carey and "On Bended Knee" — the first two songs also winning them Grammys.

The stand-up comedian was recently chosen to host the upcoming CBS late-night show "After Midnight" — which'll air in the timeslot following "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," with Colbert executive producing — but don't expect her to give up stand-up, especially after signing a deal with Netflix for her next two specials.
