In 2013, Rammstein played at several festivals after the release of their greatest hits album, bringing outlandish showmanship with them to each show. People who have seen this band in concert surely understand their legendary status. When these guys go on tour, it's a real treat for all who are lucky enough to have a ticket. Rammstein puts on huge shows, featuring pyrotechnics, light shows, larger than life backdrops and artwork, hydraulics and costumes to match. All of this doesn't even come close to matching the band members' stage presence and playing perfection, though. These guys could possibly be the hardest working musicians in the industry. They don't release a song until it is absolutely perfect, which is why it took them two years to record their album, "Liebe ist für alle da." Rammstein is a band from Germany that formed in 1994. The devotion and dedication of the band members shows in the cleanly played music and perfectionist style of recording and in the fact that all the original band members still remain together to this day. This band is technically classified in the New German Hardness genre, but is more accurately described as a mixture of heavy metal, industrial and groove metal. Their song "Du Hast," which peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Top 200 charts, may be the one that brought Rammstein to the general public's attention; it was even featured in the game "Rock Band 3." However, many fans of hard metal considered these guys to be rock legends way before the game came out; after all, it doesn't get any better than hard core metal sung in German.

I went to their show in Texas, drove about 6-7 hours and this was my first concert. And I was blown away!! The sound, the pyro!. It was all amazing! I definitely recommend going! It was well worth the drive!

Best show ever

Best concert I’ve ever seen! Rammstein love and respect their fans, and it shows. Great music, incredible stage show and mind-blowing pyrotechnics. If they come around again, we will definitely be there.

Best show I've ever seen. I've been to many concerts. I've waited for Rammstein for so long and it was everything I imagined. Even with the rain, it was so impressive and amazing.

COULD. NOT. HAVE. BEEN. BETTER!!!!

A Rammstein concert is not really a concert. It's a full friggin' lifetime experience. Bring earplugs. Be prepared for loudness, lights, heat (lots of heat!!), and for a fantastic time. I couldn't have asked for more or better!!! A year later I still tell people about this!!

Rammstein rules!

Concert was incredible Rammstein always kills it! ONLY ISSUE WAS HAVING FLOOR SEATS SUX NOW CUZ ALL YOU SEE IS THE PHONES THAT EVERYONE IS HOLDING UP! SO ANNOYING!

Incredible show!

The BEST show i have ever been to, was well worth the wait! The coliseum was hot with all the fire, literally!

BEST SHOW I EVER BEEN TO

It was hands down the best performance and show I ever seen. They really went above and beyond with the sound quality, image, etc. I would highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing

CRAZY EXPERIENCE, the show was amazing, the music, fire, lights. Till and the band are amazing performers.

Best concert in my lifetime!

Saw them in Chicago with my wife we both loved it hoping they come back to the states! Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri is waiting for you! 80,000 seats!

Hands down the loudest show ive been to. Tons of pyrotechnics. I was in the middle of the pit between the 4 fire towers and you cound feel the heat on your face when they sent a fireball to the cieling of the Alamodome.

Rammstein’s eighth album, ‘Zeit’ , was released earlier this year.

In a four-star review of their latest record,  NME  wrote: “‘Zeit’ might be a more reflective album than previous Rammstein records, but it’s still an energetic, swaggering beast. Nearly 30 years into their career, the band remain as ambitious and as fiery as ever with their nightmarish, industrial rock sounding as daring as ever.”

I went to see Rammstein live during their 2005 tour, in Nîmes. The open-air Roman amphitheater was perfect for a gig on a warm summer night in southern France, and was particularly suitable for Rammstein.

Once the sun was completely set, Rammstein came on stage to their opening song, “Reise, reise”, introducing themselves one by one, rising to the stage. After a couple of songs spent warming up, the pyrotechnics kicked in to “Feuer Frei”, with flamethrowers attached to their faces, and we were in for a hell of a show. “Fire at will” (the name of the song) was an appropriate statement as they filled the whole Arena with fire and smoke, making the warm summer night feel like a very cold breeze when the flames finally stopped.

Rammstein are world-famous for their live performances, including the heavy use of both lights and fire during their shows. Till Lindemann, the lead singer, is a certified pyrotechnician, and plays with his skill well during the show. He dresses as a cook in order to roast “Flake”, the band’s pianist, in a giant pot during “Mein teil” using a flamethrower. In another instance, he just showers in sparkles coming from fireworks all over the stage. Their use of fire-spitting devices is a constant during the show, and makes for incredible visual effects across the whole performance.

A dozen or so of songs later, once the warmth of fire and smoke start to take its toll, it is time for a walkabout for “Ollie”, the bassist, as he boards an inflatable boat and goes on a raft, on top of the crowd. After a few minutes of going up and down the whole venue, it’s time to get back on the stage, and to finish delighting the crowd with some classic songs, and an amazing encore.

Amazing show!!! If you have never seen Rammstein then it is a must see before you die, type of band. They performed the same set list as the other Festival shows but even thought this is the 3rd time I've seen this set list, I would still pay and go again. I will be going tonight to sit on the grass and watch from outside of the Waldbühne. You can expect to see lots of fireworks, fire and an amazing light show to go with the rest of the visual and sound experience.

The Waldbühne as a venue has extraordinary sound, it is an amphitheater surrounded by trees and the old Olympic stadium. See anyone there for a great night out!

Saw them with my granddaughter at Olympiastadion, Berlin on 15th July 2023. I've been to many live shows and gigs over the years, but Rammstein raised the bar above all else. Fantastic visuals, pyros, lighting and of course sound. This band give you EVERYTHING, this is music, entertainment, theatre. I was literally blown away, so much so, we saw them again at their final gig of 2023 at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on 5th August 2023. Roll on Dublin June 2024, something to REALLY look forward to. Mike, Hull, UK.

I went to Rammstein in Tinley Park, IL on June 27th... They were my very first concert and they were AMAZING!! Their opening act, 3TEETH, SUCKED like bad, but who would be able to compare to these amazing German Rock Gods? The Pyrotechnics and show was out of this world! Till did an amazing job not just singing but performing, he fully puts himself into what he does! I will definitely be on the lookout for future Rammstein concerts here in America. Till is unbelievable and the whole band kicked ASS!!

Amazing show ! Third time seeing Rammstein and this one was definitely the best one ! Worth waiting 6 hours with the extreme heat in Nimes ;)

The acoustic was awesome, great atmosphere, great setlist (Ramm 4, Reise Reise, Halleluja, Zerstoren, Keine Lust, Links 2 3 4, Feuer Frei, Mein Herz Brennt, Feuer Frei, Ich Tu Dir Weh, Ich Will, Amerika, Sonne, Engel, Stripped, Du Hast, DU Riechst So Gut, fruhling in Paris... I probably forgot one or two ahah)

When you try to see a group for years, the worry is that when you do get to go to their concert it will turn out to be a bit of an anti climax.

Not Rammstien. They were everything I expected and more. Brilliant, fantastic, superb.

As a visual show it was all the usual pyrotechnics and smoke and bang bangs.?

Instrumentally everything we all love about them with heavy riffs/shredding.

I loved this concert and will go and see them again

The shaw was incredible.

We had to come at 2 pm to be closer to the stage, and there already was a huge queue to the entrance.

The hardest part was to stand 4 hours in the crowd in front of the stage without any water, but I'd do it again of course.

There were couple of drunk guys in the crowd, who were scary to be close to, but thanks to the security they were removed in the beginning.

An Epic show!

Rammstein knows how to lighten up a room.

Great setlist, great visual effects.

I didn’t like the venue though. I found the sound really crappy.

It seems that there was a technical glitch during the song “Rammstein”. And I must confess that after “Sonne” the venue was filled with smoke and the rest of the show was quite hidden when there was too much light.

Show was absolutly phenomenal! Music and everything!!!

to be honest, this is best show and concert i've ever been..

in one point i tought the stage gonna exlode :)

Only thing that didnt match my expetetations was not the cameramen job, but the person who choosed what and when show to screens.. some missed actions and funny things missed.. its just 1 thing, so it's not a big deal.

I saw them in Rotterdam on 25 july. I don't know whose idea it was to get a classical piano duo as their opening act, but it was a complete miss. Great musicians, totally incompatible with the Rammstein vibe. But then the real show started and it blew me away! Music, performance, set pieces and pyrotechnics were completely in sync from beginning to end. Awesome concert.

Rammstein announce 2023 European stadium tour

Taking place over four months

Rammstein have announced a new European stadium tour for summer 2023.

Opening at Vingis Park in Vilnius, Lithuania on Monday 22nd May 2023, the tour visits Helsinki, Odense, Munich, Trenčín, Bern, Madrid, Lisbon, Padova, Groningen, Budapest, Berlin, Paris, Vienna and Chorzów before wrapping up at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on Friday 4th August 2023.

Sadly, there are no UK dates as part of the trek so far.

Rammstein’s second Munich Olympic Stadium show on Thursday 8th June clashes with the opening night of Download Festival, casting doubt on speculation that they might headline the 20th anniversary extravaganza at Donington Park next summer. We'll wait and see.

Tickets to Rammstein’s European stadium tour go on sale at 10am local time on Thursday 8th September 2022.

Rammstein are currently in the midst of their North American stadium tour, with the next show taking place at Chicago Solider Field on Saturday night (3rd September).

The German band’s European tour this summer included rapturously received shows at Cardiff Principality Stadium and Coventry Building Society Arena.

Rammstein’s Coventry gig was reportedly so loud it could be heard 11 miles away.

The Coventry Telegraph quoted several Facebook users who stated they could hear 'loud thumping' noises as far away as Nuneaton and Burton Hastings, which is over 11 miles away from the stadium.

Featuring the singles ‘Zeit’, ‘Zick Zack’, ‘Dicke Titten’ and ‘Angst’, Rammstein’s critically acclaimed eighth studio album 'Zeit' was released on 29th April.

Rammstein's astonishing pyro through the years:

Rammstein's pyro through the years.

Rammstein's frontman and resident pyromaniac, Till Lindemann, wore a flaming silver coat at the band's early shows. Here he is on stage in Berlin in 1996.

Even when they played smaller stages, this did little to quell Rammstein's insatiable appetite for fire. Here's a shirtless Till Lindemann swinging two Catherine wheel-like fireworks at the Palace in Los Angeles in 1998.

Rammstein's trademark flamethrowers have also been a mainstay of their live shows for decades. Here's Till Lindemann at Australia's Big Day Out Festival in 2001.

Although Till Lindemann is undoubtedly the biggest pyromaniac, Rammstein's pyro isn't just limited to the frontman – here's Richard Z. Kruspe shooting flames from his guitar in the early noughties.
