What you can expect

Set sail along the southeast coast of Cyprus on a boat cruise from Ayia Napa to the famous Blue Lagoon. Admire the striking coastline as you sail, stopping along the way to swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Board the boat and head out to sea, sailing along the southeastern coast and passing by popular landmarks. Sit back, unwind, and take in the sights as you listen to relaxing music and feel the gentle ocean breeze on your skin. Take advantage of 2 swim stops along the way, one in Konnos Bay and one at the Blue Lagoon. Each swim stop will last for around 1 hour. Go for a dip in the azure waters, or make use of the snorkeling equipment on board, and discover the underwater world off the coast of Cyprus. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can also jump into the water from the boat's upper deck. Or, if you'd prefer to work on your tan, feel free to relax on one of the 40 mattresses provided on the top deck for sunbathing. Your Blue Lagoon boat tour comes to an end back at the marina where you boarded the luxury cruiser.

Best Value for Money ! We go the extra mile every day to give you an unforgettable day, the best day of your holidays !!! We sail along the southern eastern coast of Cyprus, visiting all bays and beaches, namely Ayia Napa caves, Stone Sea Arch, Palatia Sea Caves, Blue Lagoon, Lovers’ Bridge, Pirates’ caves, Witch’s cave, Church cliff diving site, Konnos Bay, Blue Lagoon. We swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Cape Greco Blue Lagoon and Konnos Bay.

Masks and Snorkels are provided free of charge, however you have to put a deposit of 10 Euro (cash only) for borrowing it and when you return the snorkels it is given back to you. If you prefer to top your tan there are 30 mattresses on top deck for sunbathing. Once on board our luxury cruiser, chill out with soft, relaxing music and the usual gentle breeze as we cruise along the crystal clear waters of Cape Greco and the Blue Lagoon.

Great day! Friendly staff and service. Pirates had good stories and time to talk and entertain kids (chatting with them, taking pictures,joking) and had a chat with those who travelled alone .Swimming was also organised safely. Kids and adults will enjoy this experience!

We loved the Black Pearl trip - it is aimed at young children with a bit of adult humour to keep the parents entertained (think Christmas pantomime!) The pirates’ costumes and acting were brilliant - especially Jack Sparrow - and they did a great job despite the weather not being ideal. Enjoyed the swim stop, lunch was plentiful and the souvenir t-shirts were €10 which we thought well-worth it. Most of all the kids had a great time!

We decided last minute to jump on the Black Pearl, we had a blast! So glad we went. It caters for everyone, the English, the Russians, the young and the old. The banter from the pirates was fantastic. The views were amazing and the drinks reasonably priced. The lunch they provided was huge and quite tasty. A big shout out to Alex and Ed! You guys made us laugh the whole day. Highly recommended. Sharkbait ✌️

The popular WaterWorld Waterpark is just over a mile away, or you can explore some of the area’s history at the Makronissos Archaeological Site. Larnaca International Airport is approximately 28 miles away.

Other facilities

There’s a whopping seven pools in total here. The main free-form lagoon pool features back massage jets, waterfalls and seated whirlpools, as well as two shallow areas for young children. You’ll find water activities including aqua aerobics and water polo here, too. Behind the main pool, the Little Monsters kids’ pool has a pirate ship and water slides, and for all ages, there’s even a lazy river drifting through the resort gardens with bridges and resting river sites. Located on the level above, next to the pool bar, there’s an adult-only relax pool, and for adults staying in Fishermen’s Village or Olympic Bay accommodation, there are exclusive pools beside each accommodation area, also. It's good to know, the hotel has a sunbed allocation in place, allocated on check in for the whole holiday.

Along with the dedicated pool area, children will love their dedicated clubs - the Little Monsters kids’ club, the Junior Monsters kids’ club and the Teenz Club. Kids’ clubs feature daily themes, alongside sports and crafts sessions. The Teenz Club offers a high-tech arcade gaming space, which can be accessed with the My Teenz Club Card. If you’ve got little ones that are too young for the kids clubs, NVQ qualified crèche supervisors care for children ages 6 - 36 months.

The resort also provides exhilarating activities for adults. Whether you want to join morning aqua fitness, take a shot at archery, try water polo or join in a game of darts, there is plenty of fun to be had when you rise from your lounger. Adults can also retreat to the treatment rooms at the Serenity Health Club & Spa, which offers facials and body therapies that incorporate luxurious spa products. If you prefer to actively boost your health, head to the fully equipped fitness centre for your workout or join an exercise class. While there’s plenty to keep everyone busy, the family-friendly hotel provides plenty of ways to spend quality time together. Team up to build a sandcastle at the beach, dance away at the pool’s mini disco or play water volleyball and table tennis with your teenagers. Otherwise, wander over to Nissi beach and the vibrant shops of Ayia Napa.

After dinner pop down to the state-of-the-art indoor entertainment Xperience Arena. Open seven nights a week, the Kanika All-Stars present a different West-End style musical every evening as well as family entertainment or mini-discos.

Dining information

The Royal Olympic offers all-day themed buffet dining from around the globe or opt for American diner classics at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Diner for lunch and dinner. Family favourites can be found at The Greats, where old-time classic recipes, from shrimp cocktails to fried chicken, feature on the menu. Other options include Italian favourites at adult-only Garibaldi, local Cypriot dinners at Captain’s Deck, and Pan Asian food, from Japanese Teppanyaki to Malaysian curry, at Seven Orchids – you'll need to make bookings to eat in these restaurants. Four bars include the Blue Lagoon bar, beside the pool, the Grand Lobby bar, the Xperience Arena bar, providing refreshments while you watch a show, and the adult-only You & Me bar serving classic cocktails and evening entertainment.

Napa Valley Day Trip: A Guide to One Perfect Day in Napa

Everyone knows California’s Napa Valley has some of the best wineries in the world, but it’s so much more than just wine. Napa Valley is a world-class Wine Country filled with extraordinary culinary experiences, stunning mountains and vineyards, and amazing art. It’s also just a hop, skip, and a jump (or rather a short drive) from San Francisco and neighboring Sonoma, which makes it a perfect destination for a day trip.

While you could easily fit in a half-day visit to Napa, we suggest making it a full-day trip, so you can do all the fun things like wine tasting , dining out , and exploring , of course. And there’s no need for lots of planning because this itinerary maps out how to have a fantastic day full of some of Napa Valley’s best experiences without too much time in the car. (Note: Most of the stops on the itinerary are in and around the city of Napa , as destinations further north like Yountville and St. Helena would eat up too much drive time.)

Start with a hearty breakfast

Breakfast is definitely the most important meal of the day when wine tasting is on the itinerary. Proteins and carbs will help soak up that booze (or at least help it absorb it more slowly), and there’s no better protein and carb combo than the chicken and waffles at Boon Fly Café at the picturesque Carneros Resort and Spa . Located at 4048 Sonoma Highway (as you head into Napa from San Francisco or Sonoma), it’s the perfect spot to start the day. Pro tip: Grab a dozen of the famous donuts for car snacking.

Blend your own wine at the Hess Collection Winery

Oxbow Public Market , located at 610 1st Street in Napa, is popular with locals and tourists alike, and for good reason. You’ll find all kinds of food purveyors at this lively high-end market, where you can enjoy a fantastic meal as well as find all kinds of epicurean delights from local Californian food and wine producers. Take a lap before committing to your lunch fare (you’ll find everything from oysters to burgers to empanadas) and then enjoy your meal on the spacious deck overlooking the Napa River . You can also find plenty of goodies to assemble your own picnic, if you’d prefer to pack a picnic and eat along the Napa Riverfront.

Stroll and shop in downtown Napa

If you’re looking for something to do other than wine tasting, look no further than First Street in downtown Napa, where you’ll find three blocks of tasting rooms, interesting shops, and unique art galleries. You can also stop by the Napa Valley Welcome Center, located at 1300 1st Street, and pick up a complimentary map for the Napa Valley Art Walk , a public outdoor art exhibition featuring eight sculptures, all within walking distance of each other.

Tour and taste at some of Napa’s best wineries

It would be extremely ambitious to stop at every winery mentioned on this itinerary, but if you want to make a go of it, they’re listed here in driving order. Better yet, pick one or two, so you can really enjoy the experience without rushing or worrying about time.

Stags’ Leap Winery , located at 6150 Silverado Trail in Napa, is on one of California’s first wine estates — home to 240 acres of vineyards and an 1890s stone Manor House surrounded by beautiful gardens. Book the 75-minute estate tasting experience so you can explore the property and gardens before enjoying a seated tasting.

William Hill Estate Winery , located at 1761 Atlas Peak Road in Napa, is another picturesque estate with views of the vineyards and rolling hills. Book the Overlook Tasting to sit on the terrace and take it all in.

Burgess Cellars , situated at 2921 Silverado Trail, doesn’t just offer exceptional wines, but this historic property also has sweeping views that are pretty darn spectacular.

If you’re planning to head back to San Francisco or Sonoma before dinner, stop into Domaine Carneros on your way out of town, which is located at 1240 Duhig Road in Napa. Stroll through the formal gardens before taking a seat on the terrace of the French-inspired Chateau, where you can sip bubbles, snack on caviar, and toast to an amazing day in Wine Country.

If you’re “just” looking for exceptional food in a stylish space that stays fixed to the ground for the entire meal, Napa has some extraordinary restaurants. Angèle Restaurant & Bar , a riverfront bistro located at 540 Main Street in downtown Napa, will transport you to France for the evening. And dining at Morimoto Napa , located just a few doors down at 610 Main Street, feels like a trip to Japan, complete with sushi, sake, and even a little shopping.

We also adore the food at The Grove at the CIA , where shareable, Mediterranean-inspired dishes are chock full of ingredients from Copia’s own on-site gardens.

However, if you’re looking for a more unusual dining experience, you can go on a literal culinary journey via land or sea. Roll past Napa’s lush landscapes and travel back in time on the Napa Valley Wine Train , located at 1275 Mckinstry Street in Napa. This classic Napa experience is available for wine tours during the day, but they also offer a multi-course dinner at night. If that doesn’t float your boat, a Winemaker Cruise definitely will. Glide along the Napa River in a 50-foot yacht while enjoying a four-course dinner with wine pairings. The boat departs from the Napa Yacht Club, located at 100 Riverside Road in Napa.

Everyone deserves a perfect California Wine Country experience full of amazing food, wine, and scenery. And with so many activities available for those short on time, a day trip in Napa Valley is totally doable. Time to start planning!
