6 Tracks To Add To Your Playlist Before The “AOMG World Tour 2023 In Manila”

AOMG Tour Manila

Get ready for an evening of captivating performances from the artists of AOMG and add these incredible songs to your playlist!

In preparation for the highly anticipated AOMG Follow The Movement in Manila on January 15, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater, we have compiled a playlist of six tracks that you must listen to in order to fully get in the hip-hop and R&B mood.

AOMG Gears Up For The “FOLLOW THE MOVEMENT” World Tour in Manila

SIMON DOMINIC’s “Simon Dominic”

“Simon Dominic” is included in Simon Dominic’s first EP, Won & Only , which was released in 2015. The track, obviously from the title, became his representative song. It even achieved an “all-kill,” which in South Korea means it topped all the major real-time music charts in the country. The single also peaked at No.2 on the weekly Gaon Digital Chart after its release.

“Me” depicts Woo’s journey to fame, and how he was able to buy things that he wants, including a house and car for his parents. However, he gets blinded by greed and was too focused on his newly gained fame that he started to forget who he really is. The track is included in his second EP, comma , which was released on November 2022.

LOCO ft. Hwasa’s “Don’t Give It To Me”

On the KBS2 variety show Hyena on the Keyboard , Loco and Hwasa collaborated in creating the song “Don’t Give It To Me,” which was later released as a single. “Don’t Give It To Me” is a love story about two people who are on the verge of falling in love, but they don’t want to confess their feelings while they are under the influence of alcohol; this is where the song got its title.

GRAY’s “Just Do It”

“Just Do It” tells oneself that you are capable of doing anything and to only focus on yourself, have fun, and just do it. Featuring Loco, the track is a single released on April 2015.

YUGYEOM’s “All Your Fault”

“All Your Fault” is a track from Yugyeom ‘s first EP, Point of View: U , which was released on June 2021 after signing with AOMG. The track has a laidback groove and tells the story of a turbulent love affair through the lens of a variety of R&B styles.

LEEHI’s “Red Lipstick”

“Red Lipstick” is a retro-style throwback track that was inspired by the South Korean R&B and hip-hop duo Tashannie. It was included in the full album 4 Only , which was released on September 2021. The album became Lee Hi’s first full album since Seoulite in 2016, and the first new release since 24°C , after departing from YG Entertainment and signing an exclusive contract with AOMG.

Meanwhile, the AOMG Follow The Movement in Manila will happen on January 15, 2023, at the New Frontier Theater.

Brought to fans by Pulp Live World, Happee Hour AOMG, MAXPERIENCE and Wonder; the event will start at 6:00 PM and will feature spectacle performances from Simon Dominic, WOO, LOCO, Gray, Yugyeom, and LeeHi.

Tickets are still available at all Ticketnet outlets nationwide or online via www.ticketnet.com.ph

You’re all set to experience the sickest party at the start of 2023 as PULP Live World and Happee Hour proudly bring the highly anticipated K-Hip-Hop and R&B world tour to the Philippines – [FOLLOW THE MOVEMENT] AOMG WORLD TOUR 2023 IN MANILA on January 15, 2023 , at the New Frontier Theater .

AOMG, also known as Above Ordinary Music Group, is a distinguished Korean Hip-hop and R&B label founded in 2013. Currently, it houses over 20 prominent artists and producers that conquer South Korean and global music charts with every song release. The group is iconic in such a way that you can never talk about the Korean hip-hop scene without mentioning the AOMG label. Now, they are scheduled for a phenomenal world tour that is set to showcase 5 of their most elite artists namely, SIMON DOMINIC, LOCO, GRAY, LEEHI, and YUGYEOM .

SIMON DOMINIC is one of the legendary and irreplaceable figures in the K-Hip-Hop and entertainment industry. He started as an underground rookie rapper and persevered to be the CEO/artist that he is known today. Since then, he has released powerful tracks that dominated mainstream music charts in Korea including the catchy single “Simon Dominic” in 2015. His first full-length album DARKROOM in 2018 and EP No Open Flames in 2019 have further received recognition from both critics and the general public alike. Everyone surely knows the show’s going to be lit when they hear the iconic “Simon D-O-M-I-N-I-C” chant, and finally, the Philippines is about to also scream this live and loud!

LOCO rose to fame after winning the first season of the iconic Korean Reality Rap Competition “Show Me The Money”. Since then, he has released multiple platinum singles including “Hold Me Tight (Feat. Crush)”, “You Don’t Know”, and “Too Much (Feat. DEAN)”. Loco is greatly appreciated for his sincere lyricism and melodic flow which is evident in all his works.

GRAY is a total package performer as aside from composing and producing music, he is also well-versed in singing and rapping. His trendy style and intricate talent led him to be one of the top producers in South Korea. With this achievement, he’s done collaborations with domestic and international music artists and has received countless music awards. His works would speak for his excellence in this craft. This includes production credits in hits such as Jay Park’s “MOMMAE (Feat. Ugly Duck)”, Woo’s “We Are (Feat. Loco & GRAY)”, and Zion.T’s “Two Melodies (Feat. Crush)”.

LEEHI is known for her soulful sound that encompasses a wide variety of genres. She debuted in 2012 and since then became a remarkable artist in both K-Pop and K-R&B industries. After joining AOMG, LEEHI released her album, 4ONLY, and won R&B Track of The Year at the 2021 Korean Hip-Hop Awards for her songs “HOLO” and “ONLY”. LEEHI vows to continue releasing music for her fans and keep serenading them with her charming works.

YUGYEOM joined AOMG in 2021 as he started pursuing a solo music career. With the label, he released his first solo EP Point of View: U, and ventured out to composing and producing his own music. He’s also known for his captivating moves as a dancer and choreographer.

Today (November 28), the South Korean record label made the announcement via a graphic posted to its social media accounts. The purple-themed poster listed Simon Dominic, GOT7 ’s Kim Yugyeom , Loco , Gray , and Lee Hi as the artists featured on the bill for the Asian tour.

Kicking off on the second week of 2023, the tour commences with a performance at Singapore’s Expo Hall 3A on January 8, followed by stops at Bangkok’s Union Hall on January 13 and Manila’s New Frontier Theater on January 15. The tour will then travel to Japan for two dates at Tokyo’s Zepp Divercity on January 27 and Osaka’s Zepp Osaka Bayside on January 29, before rounding off with dates in Hong Kong’s Star Hall on February 3 and Taipei’s City Exhibition Hall on February 5.

Currently, the label’s official tour website is wiped clean besides text stating that additional ticketing information is “coming soon”, specifically on December 1 KST. However, the attached Twitter post states that general ticket sales will begin on December 5, 12PM KST.

The Asian leg of the ‘Follow The Movement’ world tour marks AOMG’s return to the region since 2017, when the label brought Jay Park , Loco, Simon Dominic, Gray and DJ Pumkin to perform at Singapore’s Suntec Convention Centre in May that year.

AOMG was founded by ex-CEO Park in 2013, and featured himself and Gray on its first roster. Simon Dominic later joined the label in 2014 and served as its co-CEO until 2018, when he handed over his duties to DJ Pumkin. Park stepped down from his role as CEO on New Year’s Eve 2021.

Recommended

Simon Dominic’s last full-length release was 2018’s ‘DARKROOM: roommates only’, which was then followed by his 2019 EP ‘No Open Flames’. This year, Loco and Gray released their collaborative singles, ‘Tasty x Tasty’ and ‘Be Ready’, the latter of which was produced by CODE KUNST. Kim Yugyeom released his debut solo EP ‘Point Of View: U’ in June 2021 after joining the label in February that year.

In 2021, Lee Hi released ‘4 ONLY’ , her first album since joining the label in 2020. In a five-star review, NME’s Angela Patricia Suacillo highlighted the album’s cohesiveness, stating: “Although five years may feel like too long a wait for new music, Lee Hi makes it all worth it by producing a cohesive record that not only stays true to her roots, but one that allows her to explore genres that strengthen her identity as one of K-pop’s strongest vocalists”.

The Asian dates of AOMG’s ‘Follow The Movement’ world tour are:

January: 8 – Singapore Expo Hall 3A – Singapore 13 – Union Hall – Bangkok, Thailand 15 – New Frontier Theater – Manila, Philippines 27 – Zepp Divercity Tokyo – Tokyo, Japan 29 – Zepp Osaka Bayside – Osaka, Japan

February: 3 – Star Hall, KITEC – Hong Kong, China 5 – New Taipei City Convention Hall – Taipei, Taiwan

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday 2 tour: See the setlist for her career-spanning concert

aomg world tour song list

Though she kicked off her Pink Friday 2 tour March 1 in Oakland, California, and still has more than a month to roam the country before heading to Europe, Nicki Minaj's enthusiasm and spunkiness are still raging.

On April 1, Minaj rolled into Capital One Arena in D.C. with a glossy spectacle and plenty of her trademark attitude for another sold-out date.

With a career-spanning 33-track setlist – albeit with some shortened versions of songs – Minaj, 41, delivered a fun, colorful set for fans who have waited more than eight years to see her on a U.S. tour again.

Her anticipated “Pink Friday 2” album arrived in December and was preceded by a snappy update of Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” with Ice Spice on “Barbie World” ( from the “Barbie” movie soundtrack , for those with fleeting memories).

That hit, as well as new songs including “FTCU,” “Big Difference” and “Ruby Red da Sleeze,” allowed Minaj to slip into her various personas , which she also did gleefully with megahits “Super Bass” and “Anaconda.”

Minaj’s devotees – aka “Barbz” – came ready to play, bopping in the arena clad in more pink than the city’s famed cherry blossom trees.

Here are the songs fans will hear during Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Taylor Swift has officially achieved billionaire status , according to a new list of the world’s wealthiest people.

The US pop megastar appears on the Forbes World’s Billionaires List for the first time with an estimated net worth of $1.1bn (£877m) following the global success of her Eras Tour.

Swift, who is preparing to release her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, is one of the rare musicians to have accumulated her wealth predonimantly through her music rather than through endorsements or ventures in fashion, alcohol and makeup.

Her wealth has been achieved thanks to her string of record-breaking albums, including her re-recorded “Taylor’s Versions”, which she began releasing after a row over the rights to her masters with music manager Scooter Braun and her former label, Big Machine Records.

As Bloomberg observed last year, her brand is “essentially a multinational conglomerate with the world’s most devoted customer base”.

In October, it was estimated that Swift’s net worth could be broken down into the following: her catalogue of music released since 2019, including new albums and her re-recorded Taylor’s Versions, estimated to be worth $400m (£330m), with concerts, their ticket sales and merchandise at an estimated $370m (£305m).

Taylor Swift is officially a billionaire

She is thought to have made up the remainder of the money on streams ($120m or £99m), her five personal properties ($110m or £90m), and royalties from music sales ($80m or £66m).

Swift’s influence, however, extends beyond music. Her ongoing Eras tour, it has been estimated, added $4.3bn (£3.5bn) to the US’s gross domestic product over its 53 dates. The average ticket for the show cost $254 (£209), with many selling for higher sums on secondary ticketing sites.

Meanwhile, her presence at American football games to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has been credited with boosting NFL viewing figures and sparking a surge in sales of Chiefs merchandise.

Forbes said there are a record 2,781 billionaires in 2024, up 141 on last year, while the global elite are also richer than ever, with a collective wealth of around $14.2tn (£11.3tn).

The Tortured Poets Department will be released on 19 April.

Taylor Swift joins Forbes World's Billionaires List for first time

WASHINGTON (TND) — Taylor Swift has joined a list of some of the world's richest people, according to new numbers from Forbes.

The 34-year-old pop music sensation, who reached billionaire status in October thanks to the worldwide success of "The Eras Tour" and its concert film, entered the Forbes World's Billionaires List for the first time this week.

According to Forbes, Swift grew an estimated $1.1 billion fortune, based on earnings from her tour, her music catalog value and an extensive real estate portfolio.

Swift is the first musician to hit ten-figure status solely based on her songs and performances," Forbes wrote.

Forbes said a "record 2,781" billionaires were reported worldwide this year, worth a whopping $14.2 trillion when put together.

The company said with a variety of markets trending up, "the surge in wealth has made 265 people billionaires over the past year, up from 150 newcomers in 2023."

Other noticeable names making the list this year include basketball legend Magic Johnson and French fashion designer Christian Louboutin.

“Bad Blood”? More like big bucks.

After a year of boffo successes — a massive concert tour, a hit movie and setting a Grammys record — Taylor Swift is now officially a billionaire.

Forbes released its 2024 World’s Billionaires List on Tuesday, and the “Anti-Hero” singer made the cut for the very first time with an estimated fortune of $1.1 billion. The publication credits her ever-exploding music career and real estate portfolio for her income boost.

Taylor Swift during the Eras Tour

The 34-year-old pop star joins 2,780 other mega-rich individuals who are collectively worth $14.2 trillion.

Another newcomer, somewhat surprisingly, is former NBA player Earvin “Magic” Johnson, who’s amassed about $1.2 billion investing in sports teams, Starbucks franchises, real estate and other valuable assets.

Swift’s name being added by Forbes, however, comes as no great shock.

Her massively popular Eras Tour, which began on March 17, 2023 in Arizona and will continue through December, last year became the first tour to ever gross at least $1 billion , according to Pollstar.

Her team then filmed several concerts during the tour for an October 2023 movie theater release, which grossed an additional $261.6 million worldwide. Add to that the reported $75 million Disney paid for the streaming rights to the movie to slap it on their Disney+ service.

Taylor Swift accepting the Grammy Award for Album of The Year

Harder to ascribe a value to, but no less headline-making, were the “Shake It Off” singer’s other professional achievements — and personal life developments.

In December, Time magazine named Swift their 2023 Person of the Year , joining past recipients such as presidents Joe Biden and Donald Trump and Pope Francis.

Then in February, at the 2024 Grammy Awards, Swift broke a record by winning her fourth Album of the Year prize for “Midnights.” She topped legends Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon, all of whom are tied with three victories in the category.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl win.

She even became relevant to the sports world when she began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in September 2023.

The team went to the Super Bowl in February and won for the second time in a row, while Swift excitedly watched from a private box with pals such as Blake Lively and Ice Spice.

Her private, 12-hour flight from Tokyo to Las Vegas to make it in the nick of time received practically as much media attention as the big game itself.

Taylor Swift Joins Jay-Z, Oprah, Rihanna, Tyler Perry & Steven Spielberg On Forbes 2024 Billionaires List

It’s official: Taylor Swift is very, very rich.

The ‘Eras Tour’ singer-songwriter has joined the Forbes World's Billionaires list, one of 14 celebrities who, according to the magazine, are worth a collective $31 billion. Swift’s achievement is all the more noteworthy, Forbes says, because last October she accomplished “a feat no other musician had before: she became a billionaire strictly off of earnings from her music and performances.”

Also on the list: Dick Wolf, Rihanna, Tyler Perry, Peter Jackson and Oprah Winfrey, among others. Take a look below, along with Forbes’ descriptions. (The net worths are as of March 8, 2024).

George Lucas

Net Worth: $5.5 Billion | Age: 79 | Citizenship: U.S.

The Star Wars director, who debuted as a billionaire in 1997, is the richest celebrity thanks in large part to his production company LucasFilm, which he sold to Disney in 2012 for more than $4 billion in cash and stock.

Steven Spielberg

Net Worth: $4.8 Billion | Age: 77 | Citizenship: U.S.

Spielberg joined the list in 1994, the first director to make the cut, after a string of hits that included Jaws, Jurassic Park and Schindler's List. "I'm a gambler," he told Forbes that year. "I haven't taken a salary for almost a decade now." Instead, he negotiated to get a percentage of gross sales for his movies, and he still gets a slice of every ticket sold at Universal theme parks thanks to the Indiana Jones series.

Michael Jordan

Net Worth: $3.2 Billion | Age: 61 | Citizenship: U.S.

Jordan became the first billionaire athlete in 2015, but it wasn't from his legendary basketball career or gambling winnings. Instead, Jordan has raked in more than $1.8 billion from brand partnerships, most famously Nike's Jordan brand. He also made a very wise investment in 2010, buying the Charlotte Hornets NBA team for $175 million. He sold the team in August 2023 for $3 billion.

Oprah Winfrey

Net Worth: $2.8 Billion | Age: 70 | Citizenship: U.S.

The daytime talk show host became the first black female billionaire in 2003. In the years since, she has built her brand into a media and business empire, including investments in real estate and her own production company. Soon after Winfrey revealed that she had started taking a weight-loss drug, the longtime WeightWatchers board member and key shareholder announced plans to step aside.

Net Worth: $2.5 Billion | Age: 54 | Citizenship: U.S.

Hip-hop's first billionaire sold a 50% stake in his champagne brand, Armand de Brignac, to luxury goods giant LVMH in 2021 for at least $300 million, and a majority stake in his cognac label D'Usse in 2023 for a reported $750 million to Bacardi. He also owns stakes in Uber and Block. His net worth does not include his wife Beyonce's own half-billion-dollar fortune.

Kim Kardashian

Net Worth: $1.7 Billion | Age: 43 | Citizenship: U.S.

No one has cashed in on reality star fame more than Kim Kardashian, who has become a billionaire from her beauty and clothing brands. Her shapewear line Skims was valued at $4 billion in a 2023 funding round, and she sold 20% of KKW Beauty makeup company to Coty in 2020 for $200 million. She has since shut KKW Beauty down.

Peter Jackson

Net Worth: $1.5 Billion | Age: 62 | Citizenship: New Zealand

The visionary director behind the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises, Jackson made most of his fortune from his visual effects company, Weta Digital, which sold a portion of its assets to game maker Unity Software in 2021. That deal netted the New Zealander nearly $1 billion in cash and stock.

Tyler Perry

Net Worth: $1.4 Billion | Age: 54 | Citizenship: U.S.

Perry has brought in well over $1 billion in pretax earnings over a three-decade career creating and acting in TV shows, movies and stage plays. He famously lent one of his Los Angeles homes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family.

Net Worth: $1.4 Billion | Age: 36 | Citizenship: Barbados

The pop star has stakes in two billion-dollar brands: cosmetics company Fenty Beauty, which she owns alongside luxury goods giant LVMH, and lingerie business Savage X Fenty. Both are named after the Barbados-born singer, whose real name is Robyn Fenty.

Tiger Woods

Net Worth: $1.3 Billion | Age: 48 | Citizenship: U.S.

Tiger Woods is in an exclusive club, joining Lebron James as the only two athletes who became billionaires while still active in their sport. But, more than anything, it was his celebrity that pushed him into ten digits. The five-time Masters' winner has earned over $1.7 billion in his career, the bulk of it from endorsements. His most notable brand deal, a nearly three-decade partnership with Nike, came to an end in January. Woods soon announced his own clothing line, Sun Day Red.

LeBron James

Net Worth: $1.2 Billion | Age: 39 | Citizenship: U.S.

The basketball great has pulled in more than $1 billion in on and off-court earnings over his two-decade career. He's invested it in real estate, stakes in businesses like Blaze Pizza, his own production and entertainment company SpringHill, and, of course, sports. James has a stake in Fenway Sports Group, owner of the MLB's Boston Red Sox; soccer club Liverpool and the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins.

Magic Johnson

Net Worth: $1.2 Billion | Age: 64 | Citizenship: U.S.

Johnson made his name in basketball, but long before the crazy salaries or even endorsements deals of late. Instead he made his fortune in business and, specifically, through savvy partnerships with other billionaires. He owns pieces of the NFL's Washington Commanders (with Justin Harris), the MLB's Los Angeles Dodgers (with Todd Boehly), the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks and MLS' LAFC. Most of his wealth comes from his stake in Iowa-based life insurance provider EquiTrust.

Net Worth: $1.2 Billion | Age: 77 | Citizenship: U.S.

The mastermind behind the most watched crime shows on TV, including Law & Order and FBI, Wolf debuts on the billionaire’s list thanks to nearly $2 billion pretax earnings from his 30-year career in television.

Taylor Swift

Net Worth: $1.1 Billion | Age: 34 | Citizenship: U.S.

Miss Americana capped off one of the most culturally influential years a musician has ever had by becoming a billionaire in October. Her estimated $190 million post-tax earnings from her historic Eras Tour helped boost the country-and-pop musician into the three-comma club-the first person to do it based solely on songwriting and performing.
