Taylor Swift is channeling looks from her past 10 albums on her Eras Tour. Take a look at her best outfits, including custom pieces from Versace, Roberto Cavalli and more

Taylor Swift is proving she never goes out of "style" with her recent tour.

On March 17, the singer returned to the stage as she kicked off her highly anticipated Eras Tour . From show-stopping performances to creative transitions , the 3-hour and 13-minute set is a true spectacle but one of the best parts is Swift's stunning costumes.

As Swift takes fans through her extensive music catalog with her 44-song setlist , she perfectly pays tribute to her past 10 albums with custom outfits.

While some pieces are inspired by her different eras (the dazzling Versace bodysuit during the opener encapsulates her Lover aesthetic), other looks are direct references to past tours, including her Roberto Cavalli two-piece for her 1989 set and Nicole + Felicia gown for Speak Now .

Take a look at Swift's Eras Tour outfits ahead.

Taylor Swift's Atelier Versace bodysuit for her Lover set

As Swift opened the show with "Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince" from Lover , she wore a custom Atelier Versace bodysuit adorned in pink and blue jewels, reflecting the dreamy pink and blue skies featured on the album's artwork. She paired the look with silver Christian Louboutin knee-high boots and a bedazzled microphone. During her Las Vegas show on March 24, Swift added a flower necklace by Versace to the ensemble.

During her second night of the tour, Swift surprised fans by wearing a completely different sparkling bodysuit. This look, also by Atelier Versace, was covered in blue and gold jewels, with a matching chain necklace and Christian Louboutin knee-high boots.

During her New Jersey show, Swift wore a new bodysuit by Versace, which included fringe tassels and beading. She paired the look with ombré boots and a Versace butterfly necklace, which was a co-design collaboration with Versace ambassador Dua Lipa.

Taylor Swift's Versace blazer for her Lover set

Before singing her hit song " The Man ," Swift completely transformed her look by adding a Versace blazer that complemented her Christian Louboutin knee-high boots.

Taylor Swift's black blazer for her Lover set

In addition to wearing a different Atelier Versace bodysuit during the second night of her tour, Swift also switched up during her performance of "The Man" by wearing a black pinstripe blazer with sequins.

Taylor Swift's Roberto Cavalli dress for her Fearless set

Swift donned her best dress by Roberto Cavalli as she performed a few songs from her album Fearless . The gold fringe dress was reminiscent of a similar look the designer created for her Speak Now Tour in 2011. She paired the look with Christian Louboutin boots and a bedazzled guitar .

For the second night of the tour, Swift donned a different Roberto Cavalli dress, which was slightly longer and featured gold and silver sequins in an ombré pattern.

Taylor Swift's Etro dress for her Evermore set

Swift went for a whimsical look as she performed various songs from her album Evermore in a yellow Etro dress that featured a corset top and beading detail down the front. For her bewitching performance of "Willow" she added a matching Etro cape.

During her New Jersey concert, Swift wore a new dress for her Evermore set, which was created by Marco de Vincenzo for Etro. This dress played into the woodsy nature of the Evermore album with a darker burgundy color and ruffles throughout.

Taylor Swift's Roberto Cavalli catsuit for her Reputation set

Swift slithered into a Roberto Cavalli catsuit as she performed her Reputation set on stage. The outfit, which featured an intricate pattern resembling snakes intertwined down the one long leg of the ensemble, was reminiscent of the many bodysuits Swift wore during her Reputation Stadium Tour as it was covered in black sequins resembling scales.

Taylor Swift's Nicole + Felicia gown for her Speak Now set

Despite only performing one song during her Speak Now set, Swift nonetheless left fans wonderstruck as she donned a Nicole + Felicia gown for her performance of "Enchanted." The gold gown certainly felt like a homage to Swift's Valentino ballgown from her Speak Now Tour.

Taylor Swift's Zuhair Murad gown for her Speak Now set

During night two, Swift looked like a real-life princess as she wore a Zuhair Murad ballgown , this time in a pink hue that popped against the stage's violet lighting.

Taylor Swift's Elie Saab ballgown for her Speak Now set

During the first night of her Tampa concert, Swift wore a new dress for her Speak Now set, dressing up in an Elie Saab Haute Couture silk tulle ballgown embroidered with gardenia-colored organza petals.

In New Jersey, wore another Elie Saab ballgown in a pale pink. The dress also featured lots of tulle and detailing on the front.

During her Speak Now release weekend, Swift debuted another dress for her Speak Now set, wearing a custom Nicole + Felicia gown. The dress featured multiple layers, with varying colors of purple as a tribute to her third album.

Just before announcing 1989 (Taylor's Version) on Aug. 9, Swift donned a blue dress by Nicole + Felicia during her Speak Now set. She continued to wear different blue outfits throughout the concert.

Taylor Swift's Ashish shirt for her Red set

At the beginning of her Red set, Swift recreated her iconic look from her "22" music video, in which she wears a shirt that reads "Not a lot going on at the moment" with a fedora and shorts. For the concert, she made one critical change, dropping the "not" from the T-shirt slogan. The shirt was custom by Ashish paired with Christian Louboutin loafers and a Gladys Tamez hat.

Swift recreated her "22" music video outfit again for night two, thought this time the shirt featured a lyric from the song: "Who's Taylor Swift anyway? Ew."

While performing in Arlington, Texas, Swift wore another version of her "22" shirt, this time with the text "We are never getting back together. Like ever."

Taylor Swift's Ashish romper for her Red set

As Swift moved on to other songs on her Red album, including "I Knew You Were Trouble," she took off her "22" inspired shirt and hat to reveal a sequin Ashish romper in red and black.

Taylor Swift's Ashish coat for her Red set

Swift threw on an Ashish coat over her romper as she performed her 10-minute version of "All Too Well" on stage with a coordinating red guitar.

Taylor Swift's Alberta Ferretti dress for her Folklore set

Swift was back in boho for songs from Folklore , in a flowing lilac Alberta Ferretti gown similar to the dress she wore during her 2021 Grammys performance . She even brought back the Folklore house for the performance.

During night two, Swift wore another Alberta Ferretti dress, this time in an off-white hue covered in crystal embroidery. The gown's flowing, cape-like sleeves were made for twirling.

For her March 24 show in Las Vegas, Swift debuted a third Alberta Ferretti dress as she performed her Folklore set. This dress combined various features from her previous two dresses, with a soft pink hue, cape-like sleeves and sequin details throughout.

During night one in Tampa, Swift wore yet another Alberta Ferretti dress for her Folklore set. This look was in bright green featuring a plunging neckline, mesh detailing and leaves embroideries.

Swift wore a new Alberta Ferretti gown for her Folklore set on Aug. 9, just before announcing 1989 (Taylor's Version) .

Taylor Swift's Roberto Cavalli top and skirt for her 1989 set

Swift recreated one of her memorable 1989 World Tour outfits as she wore a matching Roberto Cavalli top and skirt. The pink set was perfectly paired with dazzling Christian Louboutin boots.

On night two, the star stepped out in a similar beaded matching set by the brand, but this time in a vivid green shade that continued onto her Christian Louboutin boots.

As she performed her 1989 songs, Swift opted for an orange Roberto Cavalli two-piece set with matching Christian Louboutin boots.

Taylor Swift's blue top and skirt for her 1989 set

As she performed her 1989 songs, Swift wore a new variation of her top and skirt set, this time in a striking blue color.

Taylor Swift's Jessica Jones dress for her acoustic set

As Swift performed a few acoustic songs during night one, including "Tim McGraw" from her debut album, she donned a Jessica Jones dress that featured cap sleeves and pleats. The designer has created many of Swift's most iconic looks, including numerous outfits from her Reputation stadium tour and her gold bodysuit at the 2019 American Music Awards when she accepted artist of the decade .

Taylor Swift's green dress for her acoustic set

Swift opted for a similar dress, this time in green, as she performed alongside Marcus Mumford for her acoustic set in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 25.

Taylor Swift's yellow dress for her acoustic set

As Swift started wearing her orange Roberto Cavalli two-piece set with matching Christian Louboutin boots for her 1989 set, she began wearing a yellow dress on top of her outfit as she performed her acoustic set.

Taylor Swift's blue dress for her acoustic set

During the last leg of her U.S. tour, Swift donned a blue dress for the special announcement of 1989 (Taylor's Version) , which she debuted the album cover art for on stage. She followed up by playing the hit "New Romantics" from the album.

Taylor Swift's Oscar de la Renta t-shirt and jacket for her Midnights set

For the beginning of her Midnights set, Swift wore a similar look to the one seen in her "Lavender Haze" music video as she paired an Oscar de la Renta crystal t-shirt with an Oscar de la Renta faux fur coat.

Taylor Swift's Oscar de la Renta bodysuit for her Midnights set

As she performed "Midnight Rain," Swift did a quick costume change on stage as she took off her Oscar de la Renta t-shirt to reveal an Oscar de la Renta bodysuit. The outfit, which was in the perfect shade of (what else?) midnight blue, was bejeweled with various beading throughout giving it the appearance of a midnight sky. She paired the look with matching Christian Louboutin boots.

Taylor Swift's Zuhair Murad bodysuit for her Midnights set

For her March 24 show in Las Vegas, Swift switched up her Midnights outfit with a custom look by Zuhair Murad. The midnight blue bodysuit was covered in blue crystals and beaded fringes and even had a matching garter.

During her Los Angeles shows, Swift debuted a new bodysuit by Zuhair Murad for her Midnights set, which was fittingly in midnight blue bodysuit and "adorned with shimmering crystal embellishments, cascading intricate beaded fringes, and accompanied by a coordinating garter," per Zuhair Murad's Instagram .

The Ultimate Taylor Swift Eras Tour Outfit Idea Guide

Updated for 2024.

Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour has taken over the world, celebrating the evolution of her music and style. Each of her albums has a distinct aesthetic, but with over 15 years of outfit inspiration, trying to choose what to wear to The Eras Tour may feel overwhelming!

If you’ve been trying to decide what to wear to The Eras Tour, you’re in the right place. Keep scrolling for outfit inspiration for each of Taylor’s eras, entirely made up of fashion finds from Amazon.

Debut Era Outfits

LINKS: Floral Sundress / Pattern Sundress / White Maxi Dress / Black Cowboy Boots / Green Off Shoulder Maxi Dress / Brown Cowboy Boots / Blue Tulle Mini Dress / Black Halter Dress

Taylor Swift’s Debut era was largely casual, with her often seen sporting a short sundress and cowboy boots both on stage and off.

The green off shoulder maxi dress is a nod to Taylor’s dress in the “Teardrops On My Guitar” music video , where the blue tulle mini dress resembles the corset and tutu she wears in the “Our Song” music video .

The black halter dress references Taylor’s first appearance at the American Music Awards in 2007, where she wore a similar (but bejeweled) dress with tall black cowboy boots.

Fearless Era Outfits

speak now tour red dress

LINKS: Silver Fringe Dress / Renaissance Cosplay Dress / Silver Ombre Sequin Dress / Champagne Off Shoulder Chiffon Dress / Layered Gold Beaded Necklace / Off Shoulder Corset Top / White T-Shirt / Costume Glasses / Fabric Markers

When performing live during her Fearless era, Taylor favored flashy fringe and sparkling sequins, most often in silver or a silver and black combination.

However, coming off the success of “Love Story,” we also saw live performances in full costume to reflect the Shakespearean theme of the music video . For a more subtle reference, try this flowy off-shoulder gown, or simply a corset top.

Another iconic Taylor Swift look from the Fearless era comes from the “You Belong With Me” music video , where she sports a homemade t-shirt with signatures of her friends doodled all over. This is something you can easily DIY using fabric markers– just don’t forget the large black frame glasses to complete the look!

Speak Now Era Outfits

LINKS: Sparkle Purple Cocktail Dress / Gold Fringe Dress / Sparks Fly Lyrics Skeleton T-Shirt / Gold Ombre Sequin Dress / Long Sleeve Purple Ruffle Dress / Purple Halter Dress / Thigh High Socks / Pleated Skirt / White Button Down Blouse / Brown Striped Tie

Taylor’s Speak Now era can largely be summed up into two colors: purple and gold.

Taylor wears a dramatic purple dress on the original Speak Now album cover, and a flowy lilac dress in the album art for Taylor’s Version. Throughout the Speak Now tour, she wore a purple A-line halter dress along with gold and black fringe dresses. During the Eras Tour, Taylor sings “Enchanted” in a layered purple ballgown.

Outfits resembling school uniforms were also a strong aesthetic during this era, not only in the “The Story of Us” music video , but also in Taylor’s personal style. She was regularly photographed wearing pleated skirts, knee high socks and button downs.

Red Era Outfits

LINKS: Black Wool Fedora / Red Heart Sunglasses / A Lot Going On Tee / Lace Turtleneck / Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit Lipstick / Gold Sequin Cropped Tee / Faux Leather High Waisted Shorts / Bow Tie Long Sleeve Blouse / Red High Waisted Shorts

If you were on Tumblr between 2012-2014, you’re probably intimately familiar with the Red era aesthetic. Probably the easiest to dress for, it’s mostly made up of black and white outfits with red accents– particularly red lipstick.

Also prominent during this era were black fedoras, red heart sunglasses and high waisted shorts. The gold sequin shirt and red shorts combo is inspired by Taylor’s Jingle Ball performance at Madison Square Garden in 2012.

1989 Era Outfits

Collage: Taylor Swift 1989 Outfit Ideas from Amazon | What to Wear to The Eras Tour | Slashed Beauty

LINKS: Sequin Jacket / Rhinestone Bustier / Purple Metallic Skirt / Pom Poms / Cropped Tank Top Bra / Blue Pleated Skirt / Hair Bow / White Sneakers / Orange Tube Top / Hot Pink Maxi Skirt

We got a lot more color back during Taylor’s 1989 era. During her 1989 Tour, she wore a multi-colored sequin jacket over a black bustier with various metallic skater skirts every night.

The “Shake It Off” music video provides a ton of outfit inspo, but my personal fave is the cheerleader costume, which is super easy to recreate.

One of Taylor’s most popular red carpet outfits is from this era, when she paired an orange bandeau top with a flowy fuchsia skirt at the 2016 Grammys– it was simple, but made a statement!

Reputation Era Outfits

Collage: Taylor Swift Reputation Outfit Ideas from Amazon | What to Wear to The Eras Tour | Slashed Beauty

LINKS: Cropped Cut Out Hoodie / Fishnet Top / Snake Ring / Snake Choker / Geometric Mesh Bodysuit / Black Fringe Skirt / Faux Leather High Waisted Shorts / Rhinestone Sheer Bodysuit / Knee High Combat Boots / Lace Bodysuit (plus only)

Taylor’s style took a hard left turn during her Reputation era, bringing us an edgy side we hadn’t seen before, with almost exclusively all-black looks.

Common themes to her Reputation outfits were bodysuits, snake motifs, cropped hoods, and layered outfits with fishnets or other sheer fabrics.

Despite the departure from what we had been used to seeing her in, Taylor still worked in some of her signature style choices like sequins, rhinestones, fringe, and lace… just in black.

Lover Era Outfits

Collage: Taylor Swift Lover Outfit Ideas from Amazon | What to Wear to The Eras Tour | Slashed Beauty

LINKS: Yellow Cropped Tee / Tie Dye Biker Shorts / Patterned Blazer / Pink Sequin Bra / Pearl Cat Eye Sunglasses / Pearl Heart Earrings / Pink Two Piece Set / Fuchsia Faux Fur Coat / Tie Dye Faux Fur Coat / Thigh High Rhinestone Heels

A major 180 after Reputation, pastel pinks and blues– particularly tie dyed together– is a huge theme of Taylor’s Lover era.

With Lover being released just before the pandemic, the album’s tour was cancelled… but not before we got a ton of outfit inspo from a few red carpets, performances and music videos.

During her 2019 Wango Tango performance , she sported tie dye shorts with a yellow tee. At the 2019 VMAs , she paired a boldly patterned blazer with a pink sequin bustier and thigh high boots. And of course, there’s the “You Need to Calm Down” music video , which she spends mostly in a pastel pink two-piece under a fluffy fuchsia coat with pearl accessories.

Folklore Era Outfits

Collage: Taylor Swift Folklore Outfit Ideas from Amazon | What to Wear to The Eras Tour | Slashed Beauty

LINKS: Beige Oversized Cardigan / Gingham Bodycon Dress / Cropped Polo Shirt / Beige Tiered Midi Dress / Floral High Neck Tea Dress / Plaid Trousers / Knit Oxford Shoes

Despite being released in the summer, the Folklore era gave us sad girl autumn vibes in both music and style.

Main themes of Folklore outfits include beige and brown, stripes and plaid, with the occasional smock-style dress thrown in. And of course: cardigans.

This would be a great era to choose if you’re attending The Eras Tour early or late into its run, when the weather may still be chilly from winter or cooling down after summer.

Evermore Era Outfits

Collage: Taylor Swift Evermore Outfit Ideas from Amazon | What to Wear to The Eras Tour | Slashed Beauty

LINKS: Green Velvet Hooded Cape / Brown Corset Crop Tank / Red Layered Tulle Skirt / Black Turtleneck / Long Plaid Jacket / Floral Pearl Headband / Lace Maxi Dress

Taylor’s Folklore and Evermore eras have a lot of crossover in themes and visuals, with the “sister albums” released just 5 months apart.

One distinct look from the Evermore album cover is Taylor’s long orange and black plaid peacoat and single french braid in her hair.

The “Willow” music video provides two more Evermore outfits to recreate: a lace maxi dress paired with a pearl headband, and the storybook-inspired green cape ensemble.

Midnights Era Outfits

Collage: Taylor Swift Midnights Outfit Ideas from Amazon | What to Wear to The Eras Tour | Slashed Beauty

LINKS: Bejeweled Corset / Green Flower Cardigan / Striped One-Piece / Yoga Shorts / Purple Shaggy Faux Fur Coat / Red Sequin Shorts / Rhinestone Fishnets / Pink Sequin T-Shirt Dress / Spaghetti Strap Purple Sequin Dress / Navy Tassel Feather Sequin Dress

Because Midnights represents so many different points in Taylor’s life, there isn’t one single aesthetic to hone in on. For this era, I’m pulling inspo from music videos as well as her Eras Tour costumes.

In the “Bejeweled” music video , Taylor wears a black corset and shorts bejeweled in colorful stones. In the music video for “Anti-Hero,” one version of Taylor wears a striped one-piece with high waisted sequin shorts.

During the Midnights set at The Eras Tour, we see a lot of sequin dresses. During “Lavender Haze,” she sports a fluffy purple jacket with either a purple or pink sequin dress underneath. Her “Vigilante Shit” outfit may be the most iconic– a sparkly navy blue dress with tassels.

What to Wear to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, Broken Down by Era

Whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe.

Taylor Swift performs onstage during The Eras Tour at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on April 28, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgi

If you’re anything like team Marie Claire, you’ve been waiting for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour from the minute that it was announced. And whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe. Or, should I say, matches the eras of Swift’s music.

As a fan who got to attend the show in Boston recently, I was amazed at the wide array of looks at my show. Fans were decked out in Reputation -era snake print, glitter-encrusted face paint inspired by Swift's Lovers album cover, and plenty of DIY’d T-shirts from her Speak Now days. The bottom line? The looks varied widely, proving that you can truly go in any direction when picking your outfit for the Eras tour.

I love getting dressed up for concerts, but I also want to make sure that I can wear my new pieces again and again. It was a question I asked myself over and over while shopping for my own Eras Tour ensemble: Is the look good for me for right now, or good for me forever? In the end, I opted for a bedazzled mesh dress that I could also wear again on a night out over jeans or a slip dress . For the show, I opted to style it over a bodysuit for added coverage.

If you’re heading to the show this summer, there are a few key things to keep in mind, no matter what you wear. The show is long—five hours from the beginning of the opening act to the end of Swift’s set!—so you’ll want to wear comfortable clothing. Plus, if you’re the kind of fan who spends the majority of the concert jumping and dancing like you’re alone in your bedroom, you’ll want to wear something that you don’t have to worry about adjusting. Comfortable footwear is a must, so make sure that your new shoes don’t require breaking in before you go. Finally, the temperature tends to drop at night—especially if you’re at one of Swift’s rainier shows—so packing waterproof layers in your stadium-approved clear bag is key. (I wish I had packed a sweater.)

Ahead, I rounded up a selection of pieces for you to wear to the Eras Tour, broken down by Era. I’ve tried to think of everything: the shoes I’ve selected are known for being comfortable from the first wear. The dresses are comfortable to both sit and move around in. The jackets add warmth when you need them. Plus, many of the pieces below fall in line with some of summer 2023's biggest fashion trends .

Taylor Swift's Debut Album Era

If you’re dying for a debut self-titled album Secret Song at your show, wear something that harkens back to Swift’s first-ever era. This time in her career was defined by pastel blue and green shades, her iconic curling-iron curls, and her country twang. Consider cowboy boots and sweet tulle skirts.

Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' Era

Prefer gold to silver? The Fearless era is for you. This album had it all: Fireworks! A sparkly gold guitar! A gold fringed dress! More was more. To make it work, incorporate gold into your look via a pair of trendy sneakers , a going-out top in the hue, or by wearing a pair of viral gold jeans.

Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now' Era

Speak Now was defined by one color and one color only: A rich purple. It's the color Swift is wearing on the cover of the album, and it's the shade that has stayed attached to the record ever since. Sweet midi dresses and shoes that come in the same shade are go-tos for this era.

Taylor Swift's 'Red' Era

Red makes for an easy outfit because it only requires that you wear one color—red. Swift also went slightly preppy while on tour for the album, opting for a classic Breton striped shirt and red high-waisted denim . No matter which outfit vibe you choose, don’t forget your heart-shaped sunglasses.

Taylor Swift's '1989' Era

1989 is one of the more unique albums in Swift’s discography regarding her looks. While she repped matching sets on tour for the album, she's opted for orange ensembles while on the current Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' Era

My personal favorite era as someone who loves to wear all-black, Reputation- inspired outfits are perfect for those who prefer a little drama. From the actual sheer mesh dress I wore to my own concert to a statement-making choker necklace priced at under $50, this era is all about going all-out.

Taylor Swift's 'Lover' Era

If you love playing with color, consider a Lover- era ensemble for your concert. The key colors for this era were bright Barbiecore pink and rich blue, but pastel shades like baby pink and lavender —a trending color for 2023—were also popular. Go all-out with a heart-shaped stencil around your eye, or heart-shaped earrings.

Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Era

Folklore was a departure from the previous maximalist Lover era. The aesthetic for the album was a combination of woodland fairy and cottagecore. On-stage, this translates to flowing summer dresses in muted shades like olive green. IRL, pair lacy layers with chunky cardigans and sweet Mary Jane shoes.

Taylor Swift's 'Evermore' Era

Cozy-core fans, the Evermore era is for you. Taylor’s second pandemic album was full of woodland references but, unlike its predecessor, the vibe this time around was very much fall-inspired. Flannel dresses, comfy Birkenstock sandals, and other comfy pieces reign supreme. Shades to highlight include marigold yellow and burnt red.

Taylor Swift's 'Midnights' Era

Good thing silver everything is one of 2023’s biggest trends—Taylor is obsessed with the shade for her Midnights era. Her looks from this time in her career are about metallics , drama, and deep shades like navy blue and fushia. If you can’t stop listening to “Karma” or You’re On Your Own Kid,” This one is for you.

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - MARCH 17: Editorial use only and no commercial use at any time. No use on publication covers is permitted after August 9, 2023. Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour" at State Farm Stadium on March 17, 2023 in Swift City, ERAzona (Glendale, Arizona). Taylor Swift kicked off her Eras Tour in Glendale, Ariz. last night, delivering a 44-song set that lasted more than three hours. Somehow, the only time Swift paused throughout the night was to make a quick outfit change, disappearing into thin air only to return in a brand-new (and often bejeweled) look.

Instead of journeying through her 10 albums chronologically, Swift opted to mix up her musical eras, starting with 2019’s “Lover” before transitioning into 2020’s “Evermore.” “Reputation” was up next, followed by a short stint in “Speak Now,” during which she only performed “Enchanted.” Songs from “Red,” “Folklore” and “1989” came after, and then Swift performed a short acoustic set consisting of “Mirrorball” and “Tim McGraw” from her first, self-titled album — a tradition she said she’ll change up for every show, without repeating a song. Swift ended the night with her most recent release, “Midnights,” bringing fans back to the present.

Each era was accompanied by jaw-dropping sets, stunning choreography and, of course, custom outfits to represent each specific moment in Swift’s life and career. See all of the looks from the first night of the Eras Tour below.

The “Midnights” portion started with “Lavender Haze,” so it only made sense for Swift to wear a purple fur coat over a sparkly frock.

Taylor Swift's long-awaited Eras Tour has finally started and the singer is delivering on all fronts — from performance to vocals and, of course, fashion.

On opening weekend, Taylor Swift gave us plenty of whimsical, elegant, and nostalgic looks as we traveled with her through the eras of her career. She wore a handful of familiar styles, with slight tweaks to fit her current style, and gave us plenty of sparkle and shine. Throughout 15+ more stop stops (and counting), Taylor has given us even more memorable fashion moments.

If you are scouring the internet to find out where each look is from, fret not. Here's a look at all the looks Taylor Swift has from during her Eras Tour — from opening night in Glendale, Arizona, to some of her most recent shows in New Jersey and Chicago — and what you can expect to see her wear if you plan on attending one of the upcoming shows.

1. Lover era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

The first era is  Lover , a time that signified growth, comfort, and basking in the glow of the daylight. Taylor starts the night off in a  custom Versace bodysuit , bright and bold. She pairs it with an equally shiny pair of  custom, studded Louboutin boots . Night one's bodysuit was a playful, iridescent purple color, and she opted for a slightly more elegant, gold-colored one for the second night of the Eras tour kickoff weekend.

The shoes are sparkly, but they aren't really the star of the show until she puts on a blazer, also studded, and also Versace, and performs "The Man." The shoes instantly grabbed the spotlight as she kicked her heels up and flashed the red bottoms. This is the first of several pairs of custom Louboutins that Taylor wears throughout the night – they're the  sole footwear provider for the tour , just like during the  Reputation  tour.

At her show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the star debuted a new Versace bodysuit that sparkled even brighter than the original one she wore. There are brighter crystals, shining in purple, and extra details, like tassels down her thigh. She paired the new bodysuit with a pair of ombré bedazzled Versace heels, also in purple. Adorning her neck was the Versace Crystal Butterflies Chain Necklace to complete the look.

In a seamless transition to the era that sealed the deal for her as a stage performer and style icon, the  Fearless  era portion of the night brought back shimmery dresses made to move around. The boots stay on, but she trades out the sparkly bodysuit to dance in a storm in her best dress.

One of the big themes in her clothes throughout the night is fringe, which becomes an accessory to the singer as she moves around the stage and dances around singing her best hits. This  custom Roberto Cavalli dress  allows her to do just that, move around freely and shine bright.

On the second night of the tour, Taylor opted for fringe down the legs in  another Roberto Cavalli custom dress  embellished with Swarovski crystals. Again, the movements looked just as mesmerizing in this dress as the first night.

As the tour has continued, Taylor has debuted another equally stunning dress to embody the  Fearless era. The dress is similar to her custom Roberto Cavalli dress with fringe down her leg, but in silver.

3. Acoustic interlude

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

During the opening night, Taylor referenced her debut era playing her first-ever hit song, "Tim McGraw." This era falls into an acoustic set, where Taylor does one of her favorite things: She plays two surprise songs each night to give every fan a unique experience during the show they choose to attend.  The acoustic, slowed-down portion of the show gives the fans a breather, a time to connect with their favorite singer as she’s able to take a seat at the piano and chat with the crowd before she gives a surprise performance.

During this segment, she has so far worn a  Jessica Jones  dress with ruffles that hug her frame as she sits by the piano. The first night she wore a magenta-colored version of the dress. On night two, it was green. We first wondered if we'd see more colors as the tour continued and TSwift delivered. She’s also worn the stunning dress in a yellow shade as well.

4. evermore era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

Next up is  evermore  era, for which Taylor wears a simple but bright mustard dress from  Etro , also custom. To perform the songs from this quaint but grand era, the stage is set with trees along a foggy backdrop. The tone of the show shifts here. This is where Taylor gets to sit at the piano and commandeer the crowd with her lyrics. There is no need for fringe and sparkles as the crowd sings along at the top of their lungs to "champagne problems" to accompany her.

5. Reputation era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

During the  Reputation  tour, Taylor made a bold choice to abandon the pants and embrace the bodysuit. She brings that energy back to represent this era with one of the fiercest ones we've ever seen her in; an asymmetrical, show-stopping  black and red colored custom Roberto Cavalli one . As we've realized by now, nothing on this tour will be dull on the sparkle, and this number features sequins studded along the leg in that infamous snake pattern familiar to this era.

6. Speak Now era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

To sing one singular song from the  Speak Now  era, the fan-favorite "Enchanted," Taylor emerges ready to impress. You can't help but be enchanted by the soft glow reflecting off the sparkles of the  Nicole + Felicia Couture bespoke gown  she's wearing. This is reminiscent of the Valentino gown she wore when she sang this song on the  Speak Now  tour but grander, and of course, with more bling.

On night two of the tour in Glendale, Arizona, Taylor switched up this look and gave the audience an equally shiny but slightly different look, opting for a  Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown  with a starburst design embellishment.

This portion of the show is where she’s been able to switch it up the most. As the tour progressed, the star has given us plenty of glorious gowns to “ooh” and “aah” at. Another Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown was added to the  Speak Now era collection, with thousands of sequins sewn on in a starburst design.

Some nights, she graces the stage in an Elie Saab Fall 2020 Couture gown that is full of tulle and drama. Other nights, she opts for something a bit more simple, but elegant: an Ellie Saab Couture gown from Fall/Winter 2022, straight from the runway that has fabric flowers sewn down the bottom half of the dress. This dress’s train drags behind her as she walks down the catwalk of the massive stage softly and slowly, matching the tone of the song.

The next era is introduced in a spirited manner as Taylor revisits a popularly recreated look: the "Not A Lot Going On At The Moment" T-Shirt from the "22" music video. This look is paired with a Gladys Tamez hat that she gives to a lucky audience member during the performance.

On the second night of the tour, she opted to poke a bit of fun at herself with a T-shirt that read "Who's Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew" after lyrics from the song "22" instead.

As the North American tour reached its halfway point, she introduced another shirt that says, “We Are Never Getting Back Together, Like Ever.” The sequined shirts are all  custom by Ashish , who also made the original shirt in the “22” music video. Once the t-shirt is removed, a beautiful red-to-black ombré bodysuit is revealed, fittingly so for the  Red  era.

When it's time to sing her magnum opus, "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)," a sparkly red overcoat is added atop the already striking bodysuit. She puts her best foot forward for a song that has a story as remarkable as her career, with a red guitar to match.

She also used this time, for the first half of the tour, to bring out her collaborator and tour opener  Phoebe Bridgers to sing their acoustic and emotional song “Nothing New.” On Bridgers’s last night on the Eras tour, Swift showed off a chain around her neck that held a small pendant. It was later revealed that the pendant was the  Give You The Moon Charm from Phoebe Bridgers’ Catbird collection. Her footwear for this portion of the show is a seemingly comfortable pair of  loafers from Louboutin .

8. folklore era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

For the  folklore  portion, we see the singer in a beautiful, muted  purple Alberta Ferretti dress  full of ruffles and flares. It's "fairy in the woods meets cozy baking in a cottage," which are exactly the right vibes of this imaginative and rustic era.

During her performance of "august," Taylor uses body movements across the stage to express her frustration, and the lavender-toned dress added the perfect amount of drama and flair to the performance. As she moved, the  chiffon fabric  moved along with her seamlessly. On night two, she wore a similarly graceful  Alberta Ferretti dress , but in white. It had curtain drapes with delicate hanging threads, adding a  beautiful texture  to its movement.

Taylor loves to swiftly move around the stage in various Alberta Ferretti dresses during the most emotional portions of the  folklore  era. She’s shown us two more versions of custom dresses that were created for this portion of the show.

9. 1989 era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

As the night progresses, we see more and more fringe. How else would we see the iconic "Shake It Off" movements except in another  Roberto Cavalli custom two-piece set  covered in chunky fringe with sequins in various shapes and sizes? This look is similar to what the singer wore on her  1989  tour.

On the first night of the tour, the co-ord set was  magenta . On the second night of the tour, she swapped it for the same set, except in bright green.

As the tour has continued, the pop queen has added an additional color to the 1989 co-ord repertoire. We’ve now seen the same Roberto Cavalli set in orange as well. How many colors will we see in total throughout the tour?

10. Midnights era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

As we reach the present-day era,  Midnights , we get to the peak of extravagance and pomp. It's time to celebrate the eras past that have allowed Taylor to become the artist and performer she is today. The dress she chose to perform the culmination of her career is a custom  Oscar De La Renta  that's looser fitting but still heavy and studded in iridescent crystals. It's paired with a new set of custom Louboutins studded in black crystals. To add more drama, she has a fur coat on, also a custom piece from Oscar De La Renta. Everything about this look screams "Bejeweled," a song placed near the end of the setlist but a vibe that's exuded for the entirety of the night.

As this era progresses, she sheds layers. The dress is shed to reveal an  Oscar De La Renta custom bodysuit , an article of clothing she seems to be very comfortable performing in. This time, there's black detailing. It's soft but striking and just sexy enough to perform the Cell Block Tango-esque choreography to "Vigilante Sh*t" with chairs and all. She even added a garter to her thigh to give a bit of a sexy edge to complete the look.

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

To finish off the show, another layer is added with even more fringe and even more sparkle, if that's even possible. This multi-colored statement piece is fabulous, and it's a perfect way to physically represent just what the last three hours and 15 minutes were all about: Taylor celebrating and shining with the 70,000 other people in the room with her.

Here are Taylor Swift fans' best Eras Tour outfits, from bejeweled boots to mirrorballs

speak now tour red dress

  • Many fans' "Midnights" style is inspired by "Lavender Haze" and "Bejeweled."
  • "Mirrorball" is a popular look for fans of "Folklore."
  • Those who feel robbed of a "Lover" era are gravitating toward the album's signature pastel colors and rainbow motifs.
  • One of the more popular Eras Tour outfits on social media seems to be Swift's purple sweetheart neckline dress from her Speak Now Tour.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour kicks off March 17 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale and Swifties are ready for her first tour in nearly five years.

The pent-up demand to see her perform live is palpable after Swift added four new albums and two "Taylor's Version" re-records to her discography since her 2018 Reputation Tour. Because the Eras Tour promises to span her entire music catalog, fans have almost unlimited options for how to style themselves in celebration of the occasion.

If social media is anything to go by, the 52 Eras Tour shows will be a chaotic potpourri of cowboy boots, sparkles, leather and neon, which represent various albums, tours, music videos and inside jokes among Swifties over the past 17 years.

If you're struggling to decide on an era, let alone an outfit, here's how some creative fans are planning to dress up for Swift’s U.S. shows in 2023.

Ultimate Eras Tour fan guide: Parking, bag policy and what to know about traffic

How fans are paying homage to various Taylor Swift eras

@pnwfitswiftie, aka Kimberly and Sawyer, predict that crowds at Eras Tour concerts will be chaotic. They posted a TikTok video in which they wear outfits reminiscent of eras past and present as “POV you’re Taylor Swift looking out into the crowd at the Eras Tour” is superimposed over the footage. The caption reads, “Cannot wait for the Swiftie chaos at the Eras Tour.”

Many fans appear to be designing their own apparel that represents all of Swift’s eras, including on denim jackets. Here are some other unique ways people have combined various themes.

“Bejeweled” meets “Lover”: Foreverandfashion shared a “‘Bejeweled’ meets ‘Lover’” look for one of the Houston concerts on Tumblr. It comprises rhinestones, holographic shorts, a tie dye rainbow fringe jacket similar to one Swift wore during an iHeartRadio Wango Tango performance in 2019 and bedazzled heeled boots.

DIY Eras cape: @sunflowerrswift is traveling from Sydney, Australia, to attend both Arizona shows and hand-painted a cape with 10 different sections, with each representing the imagery from an album.

DIY Eras jeweled bustier: Sarah, aka @spookybaseball on TikTok, has been sharing progress on a custom-made bustier top that is striped with hand-glued jewels grouped into colors that represent each album.

"Folklore," "Reputation," "Red" and "1989" patchwork outfit: @HollyMar13 shared a DIY outfit for the first show of The Eras Tour that incorporates at least four eras on Twitter and TikTok . The patchwork project, which appears to be split down the middle, includes half of a cardigan and the "rep" velvet long-sleeve bodysuit (from the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video) on top, split black and white hot pants on the bottom (the black is reminiscent of the Red Tour and the white portion is similar to a 1989 Tour look), thigh-high boots and a sparkly Red Tour ringmaster cape. Swift herself seemed to cosign the outfit by liking it on TikTok.

For subscribers: Why Taylor Swift launching her tour at State Farm Stadium is a big deal for Glendale, AZ

Fans who want to represent Swift’s latest album are largely taking inspiration from the songs “Lavender Haze” and “Bejeweled” as well as the glittery, shimmery outfits she has worn to several recent events.

DIY “Midnights” cardigan: TikToker @_chricket crocheted a “Midnights” cardigan with the album cover on the back and plans to wear it to an Atlanta show.

“Bejeweled”: @devenanthony debuted a “Bejeweled” outfit on TikTok for the March 17 Glendale show that includes a colorful rhinestone-studded vest that features “Nice!” written on the back as an ode to the song’s lyrics.

DIY stars: @Skye_Caylen0614 tweeted photos of a DIY dress made out of more than 550 paper stars that are shipped with merchandise purchased from Swift’s official online store. Coincidentally, it is also reminiscent of the star-embellished blue Moschino romper that Swift wore to a Video Music Awards afterparty in August 2022; the style looks similar to the fringe mini dresses that Swift has worn on stage during various tours, too.

2022 VMAs afterparty romper: Speaking of the Moschino romper, TikToker @danigolub crafted this look herself with glittery stars and rhinestones, paired with a faux fur jacket.

“Midnight Rain”: Look out for some “Midnight Rain” in Glendale as @supposed2befun has a costume inspired by the sixth track off “Midnights.” In photos posted to Twitter , Shaunna is donning a fluffy cloud skirt with dangling crystals depicting rain, which is paired with tops that look like dark clouds and a raincloud hat.

2022 VMAs Oscar de la Renta dress: @knottaylorswift has done what she called "amateur cosplay" on TikTok and crafted Swift's designer nude-colored dress that was dripping in crystals at last year's Video Music Awards.

Glendale (Taylor's Version): City temporarily changes name to honor Taylor Swift's Eras Tour launch

‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ era outfits

One particular vault track from Swift’s 2021 album “Red (Taylor’s Version)” seems to have inspired several fans.

“I Bet You Think About Me”: @kindahannah8 made a defiled red velvet wedding cake cowboy hat in an ode to the “I Bet You Think About Me” music video and paired it with a sparkly red dress, as shown in her TikTok video . Twitter user @itsdelicateee13 also took inspiration from the video and created an outfit with red lace gloves, a flower crown of roses and a red dress for the second Glendale show.

“All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)”: In an ode to fan-favorite ballad “All Too Well,” whose 10-minute version was finally released during this era, @katietufts made a “crumbled up piece of paper” outfit and shared it on TikTok .

‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ era outfits

Though some Swifties fear their idol will eschew these sister albums that were born out of the pandemic in favor of her stadium-friendly pop hits, they seem passionate about not allowing these alternative cottagecore-inspired albums to be forgotten.

“Mirrorball”: @ajpeck5 has finished attaching reflective silver squares on a disco ball-inspired cowboy hat, which is a nod to Track 6 off “Folklore,” “Mirrorball.” @fairyytaleswift is also going for the “Mirrorball” look with head-to-toe reflective silver, according to photos posted on Twitter . Joey (@theswift911) also has a disco ball look — and as a bonus it’s identical to the outfit that Swift wore to the 2018 American Music Awards. (Side note: If anyone also braved the ticket sale for Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour and has tickets to one of those shows, this hat can be repurposed in an ode to Beyoncé’s outfit in the tour poster .)

“Cardigan” and “Willow”: Sisters Elaine ( @replover4eva ) and Kelly ( @xmastreefarm13 ) revealed three different complementary looks for their State Farm Stadium shows, including one that pays homage to “Folklore” and “Evermore.” Their outfits incorporate Swift’s “Folklore” merchandise cardigan with an ivory dress as well as a green velvet cape paired with a medieval-inspired dress, which look like what she wore in her “Cardigan” and “Willow” music videos, respectively.

“Cowboy Like Me”: Krista, aka @nsttnsttnstt on Twitter, has fashioned a glittery veiled cowboy hat to wear at State Farm Stadium. It’s decorated with the words “forever” and “is the sweetest con” in a nod to the “Evermore” song “Cowboy Like Me.”

Taylor Swift ‘Lover’ era outfits

Fans who had tickets to Swift’s Lover Fest, which was supposed to take place in 2020 and was never rescheduled amid the pandemic, might be feeling robbed of the full “Lover” experience. As such, many people are gravitating toward fashion that reflects the her seventh studio album's color palette and the outfits she wore while promoting it.

“Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince”: @hallelikehalleberry is DIY-ing a “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” couple’s outfit, including a sparkly jacket with broken hearts and a “Lover” patch. Twitter user @AriReadyForIt has another unique take on “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” that involves an American flag cheerleader outfit and a sash with the lyrics “most likely to run away with you.”

“Me!”: @emilyyy630 recreated one of Swift’s outfits — a pink ‘70s go-go dancer-inspired dress with a heart across the torso — from the “Me!” music video in a TikTok. This is one of the more popular looks, as Twitter users @mo0nandsaturn and @theruthlessgame also shared that they will also wear this at State Farm Stadium.

Pink and blue: @devenanthony revealed a “Lover”-inspired outfit on TikTok. It involves hot pink cargo pants and a short-sleeve button-down with the album’s signature pink and baby blue clouds as well as the album title on the back of the shirt and on a pair of tennis shoes.

“Cruel Summer”: @longggglive has a head-to-toe blue group outfit complete with blue heart sunglasses, bodysuits and tutus planned for the State Farm Stadium shows, according to a Twitter post . This is in homage to “Cruel Summer,” in which Swift sings, “it's new, the shape of your body / It's blue, the feeling I've got.”

The house from the “Lover” music video: In an impressive feat, Madi — aka @bettysporchlght — created the three-story house in the “Lover” music video that depicts each album as a different room. The accessory, which is made out of foam, is attached with straps and covers Madi’s entire torso.

‘Reputation’ era outfits

Swifties who are nostalgic for her last tour are ready to don dark colors, snake motifs and bodysuits once again in honor of the 2017 “Reputation” album.

“Reputation” meets “Lover”: @danibeedabbles is combining “Reputation” and “Lover” — “my favorite two albums” — to put together an outfit that incorporates the snake motif and rainbow tie dye. It comprises a snake-print mesh bolero jacket and holographic colorful snakeskin-print bodysuit.

“Look What You Made Me Do” music video: Meanwhile, Twitter user @cowboylikeme_tv plans to roll up to the first Eras Tour show in Glendale in a black outfit that’s inspired by the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video , in which Swift wears a bodysuit with a glittery “rep” emblazoned across the chest. Several others, including @ashlyn.poly and @midnjghts , have opted for this look at well.

“Delicate” music video: @13folkloreTS, aka Kirsty, will also represent “Reputation” while wearing a “Delicate” music video-inspired blue fringe dress at State Farm Stadium, according to a tweet .

‘1989’ era outfits

Taylor Swift’s official transition into her pop era in 2014 came with a new generation of glittery outfits during her 2015 world tour and some iconic costumes from her music videos, including “Shake It Off,” “Bad Blood” and “Blank Space.”

The 1989 Tour silver bodysuit: Paige, aka @swiftie_paige13, made an Eras Tour denim jacket to wear over a bejeweled outfit inspired by one of Swift’s dazzling silver bodysuits from the 1989 Tour, according to a Twitter post .

“Shake It Off” cheerleader: @AllTooDrew13 shared plans on Twitter to “have the best day shaking it off with Taylor and my baby girl” — who is in a cheerleading outfit from the “Shake It Off” music video — at State Farm Stadium.

Pink light-up dress: Some Swifties, like @madisonsatterlee1, have recreated the pink two-piece outfit with lights that Swift wore during the 1989 tour, though a number of fans have chimed in that stadiums might prevent ticketholders from entering the venue with the lights. ( This is the case for State Farm Stadium. )

‘Red’ era outfits

The release of Taylor’s Version in 2021 has some people nostalgic for Swift’s “Red” promotional era a decade ago and its circus theme, fedoras, animal onesies, high-waisted shorts and graphic tees.

Ringmaster costume: Twitter user @rachisfearless harkened back to the 2013-2014 Red Tour with her circus ringmaster costume, which she plans to wear to one of the Arlington, Texas, shows.

‘Speak Now’ era outfits

Swift has dropped numerous hints, including in the music video for “Bejeweled,” that “Speak Now” will get the Taylor’s Version re-release treatment next. In anticipation of this, some fans are looking back at her tour outfits from 2011-2012.

Purple sweetheart dress: As shown in a TikTok video, @kirst_ec was able to find a sweetheart neckline lilac dress that is nearly identical to the one Swift wore while touring her 2010 album, “Speak Now.” Over on Twitter , @FolkloreSwift89 also alluded to wearing this to a Tampa, Florida, show.

Gold fringe dress: As a “‘Speak Now’ stan, TikTok user @trinytiblair bought a gold fringe dress that looks just like the one that Swift wore during that tour.

‘Fearless’ era outfits

The first of Swift’s albums to be re-recorded as a Taylor’s Version (released in April 2021), "Fearless" (2008), has some enduring hit singles such as “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me.” This was the first album that she toured, and her enduring sparkly and glittery aesthetic was cemented in 2009-2010.

Junior jewels T-shirt: Tumblr user lanterns-lit shared an early look at their outfit for one of the Chicago shows, which incorporates a version of Swift’s iconic “junior jewels” shirt from the “You Belong With Me” music video. The white T-shirt is stylized the same way but has song lyrics, album titles and symbols from Swift’s various eras.

Their outfit will also involve Swift-related jewelry and patches.

‘Taylor Swift’ (debut album) era outfits

Fans on social media seem to unanimously agree that recreating Swift’s mid-2000s "Taylor Swift" album era style involves cowboy boots, flowy dresses and anything, really, that evokes country.

@itshaley.y showed off a light-colored sundress with flower embroidery and cowgirl boots that “literally screams debut” on TikTok .

What time does the Taylor Swift concert start?

Taylor Swift is officially in her “Eras” era. On March 17 and 18, the singer kicked off her Eras tour in Glendale, Arizona, which temporarily renamed itself Swift City, ERAzona, in honor of the start of the tour.

It might only be the first leg of her Eras Tour , but Swift is already delivering when it comes to fashion. During her Glendale set, the singer sported looks from Oscar de la Renta, Alberta Ferretti and Versace, among many other notable designers. While her fans are attending the tour for the music, Swift is poised to give a mini-fashion show at each leg. WWD has rounded up some of the singer’s looks so far.

Swift unveiled another sequin Versace number during the Las Vegas leg of the Eras Tour. The silver sequin blazer dress was coordinated with silver sequin Louboutin boots that hit below the knee.

Swift donned another version of her custom bodysuit from Versace for her Arlington, Texas performance. This bodysuit came with a different color scheme, featuring sequins in bronze, gold and aqua.

Nicole Felicia Couture

Swift looked like a Disney princess come to life in this Nicole Felicia custom ballgown. The costume alluded to a previous gown Swift wore on the “Speak Now Tour” that was designed by Valentino. Swift also wore this designer in her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video.

Oscar de la Renta

For the finale act of weekend one of the Eras Tour, Swift wore two looks from Oscar de la Renta. The first was a black sequin bodysuit with fringe trim paired with sparkling black Louboutin boots, and the second was a midnight bodysuit, crystal T-shirt and lavender faux fur coat, both inspired by her “Midnights” album.

For her MetLife Stadium leg of the tour, Swift brought out Ice Spice to perform the remix of her song “Karma.” Swift wore a custom midnight blue sequin bodysuit from Oscar de la Renta.

Roberto Cavalli

Another standout look that set the internet abuzz was an asymmetrical sequin bodysuit with a beaded pattern of snakes on it referencing what some fans called her “snake era.”

In a classic Taylor Swift look, the singer wore a sparkling fringe dress with sparkling silver boots. She wore a similar gold fringe dress from Roberto Cavalli for the opening of her Speak Now Tour.

A stylie that was a testament to the craftsmanship of the Roberto Cavalli brand was a dégradé look created using thousands of hand-applied Swarovski crystals. The outfit was paired with knee-high sequin Christian Louboutin boots.

Alberta Ferretti

Swift wore two custom Alberta Ferretti gowns for her Glendale dates, both featuring Grecian and cottagecore inspiration. Both gowns were made from chiffon and featured airy fluid silhouettes.

Channeling her “Folklore” era, Alberta Ferretti created this dress for Taylor Swift channeling a wood nymph fairy. This green dress with its leaf design detail is a custom look from Alberta Ferretti’s spring 2023 collection worn for the Tampa leg of the Eras Tour.

Zuhair Murad

For another bohemian cottagecore look, Swift wore an orange ruffled, tie-front dress. The one-of-a-kind dress was created by Etro’s creative director Marco de Vincenzo.

Swift poked fun at herself in this custom T-shirt from Ashish Studio. Underneath the T-shirt, she wore a sequin bodysuit that looked like a regular pair of shorts.

On the East Rutherford leg of her tour, Ashish draped Swift in this custom red sequin duster with a trench-style silhouette. The duster contrasted with her sparkling black guitar.

Swift was the bell of her own ball for the night one of the Tampa Swift leg of her tour wearing a dark beige silk tulle ballgown featuring a silver crystal embroidered bodice with long sleeves, scoop neckline, and a dramatic, cascading skirt fully embroidered with gardenia-colored organza petals from Elie Saab’s fall 2022 couture collection.

Jessica Jones

Swift unveiled her red tiered pleated dress custom designed by Jessica Jones during the Tampa performance of the Eras Tour. She joined fellow musician Aaron Dessner on stage as they did a guitar duet.

Taylor Swift has some incredible Eras Tour outfits

Who designs Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour outfits?

Taylor has been bringing out the big guns for her global tour. Notable designers include Fausto Puglisi who heads up Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli. Fausto describes himself  as a Sicilian maverick. He designed 12 of the looks from Taylor’s Eras shows, including the skintight snake catsuit from the Reputation era, and the gold-fringed minidress from her Fearless era.

And Taylor isn’t the only superstar he has dressed – J-Lo and Zendaya have also had the honour. He also designed the cape that Madonna wore on her Madame X album.

Another designer that has been tapped by Taylor for her stage costumes is Donatella Versace. The legendary designer was the mastermind behind Taylor’s bejewelled bodysuits that feature in the Lover section of her shows.

And rounding off the Lover looks are a pair of custom-made, jewel-encrusted, knee-high boots from none other than Christian Louboutin. With their signature red soles, Louboutins are the footwear of choice for the rich, famous and impeccably dressed.

Italian dressmaker Alberta Ferretti also has a starring role on the Eras Tour. Her ethereal and dreamy gowns complements the Folklore section of Taylor’s shows completely.

Taylor has also selected a number of lesser-known names to wear alongside fashion powerhouses like Oscar de la Renta and Ellie Saab. Indie designer Anish Gupta created the sequin slogan T-shirts emblazoned with her iconic lyrics “WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, LIKE EVER”

Taylor Swift is looking back on all of her eras — and so are we.

During the now-viral Nashville leg of her current Eras world tour — featuring a set divided into 10 sections for each of her albums so far — Swift revealed she’d re-release her 2010 country album “Speak Now” as “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” on July 7. The news is coincidentally timely — and not just as the 2010s are returning to fashion, but also as a shift for Swift.

“Speak Now” marked the singer’s upward trajectory while solidifying her popularity in pop culture and pop music — and, style-wise, hinged on the new decade’s embrace of enchanting glamour.

Swift’s array of beaded, embellished and princess-worthy tulle dresses are the leading hallmarks from this period — particularly the sweeping purple spring 2007 Reem Acra gown seen on her “Speak Now” album cover. Coinciding with the regally outfits, however, are an array of playful and feminine going-out looks instantly reminiscent of the early 2010s.

The singer was regularly spotted throughout the period in a wide array of jewel-toned and vintage-inspired strapless and 3/4-sleeve minidresses at events ranging from the “Easy A” premiere to Swift’s launch of her popular debut fragrance, Wonderstruck. All were frequently worn with peep-toe heels ranging from tonal nudes to shimmering metallics — but always boasting a soaring stiletto.

Below, relive the top looks from Swift’s “Speak Now” era ahead of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).”

In Sept. 2010, Swift attended Roberto Cavalli ‘s spring 2011 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week. For the occasion, the singer wore a romantically bohemian Cavalli satin skirt and lace-trimmed white blouse, paired with taupe tights and silver-buckled suede boots.

November 2010 found Swift with a sleek makeover at the 2010 American Music Awards, where she sparkled in a sleeveless Collette Dinnigan minidress embellished with linear gunmetal and silver crystals.

A pair of black Jimmy Choo sandals completed her outfit with a glitzy finish.

In 2011, Swift arrived to the 46th annual Academy Of Country Music Awards RAM in a sweeping light yellow Elie Saab couture gown embellished with allover lace, 3D silk and beaded flowers.

The sleeveless piece was paired with sparkling diamond and platinum chandelier earrings and a cocktail ring by Neil Lane, as well as a set of light gold Ralph Lauren heels.

For the 2011 “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty”-themed Met Gala, held in honor of the late Alexander McQueen, Swift attended as the date of designer Gilles Mendel in a J.Mendel dress. Her sweeping deep nude silk gown featured a one-shouldered illusion from delicate black lace paneling, which flowed into a faintly layered matte and sheer train.

The intricate design was accented with a pale brown, tan and purple stone bracelet and diamond stud earrings from Lorraine Schwartz, as well as a pair of hidden Christian Louboutin heels.

For close friend Emma Stone’s leading breakthrough in comedy “Easy A,” Swift made an appearance to support the actress at the film’s Sept. 2011 premiere. Her outfit for the occasion featured an emerald silk Miu Miu minidress with a bustier-structured bodice.

The strapless piece was boldly paired with a gold Rene Caovilla clutch and round Neil Lane pendant necklace, as well as shimmering gold Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps with knotted front straps.

In Oct. 2011, Swift released her hit debut perfume, Wonderstruck, named from “Speak Now” track “Enchanted.” For the occasion, the musician attended the fragrance’s launch event at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City, wearing a 3/4-sleeved Tracy Reese minidress with an ivory base and sheer layer trimmed in shimmering black stripes.

The piece was accented with black floral House of Lavande earrings, as well as a set of black suede peep-toe pumps from Miu Miu.

For the 2011 American Music Awards in November, Swift hit the red carpet at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles in a sparkly gold Reem Acra gown. The piece, hailing from Acra’s spring 2012 collection, featured a strapless silhouette covered in delicate metallic sequins.

Shiny silver Jimmy Choo platform-soled sandals finished her outfit, as well as a gold chain bracelet and gleaming green stone drop earrings.

During the final North American shows of her “Speak Now World Tour” in New York City later that month, Swift performed in a wide array of outfits — ranging from shimmering fringed dresses with leather Everybody boots to floating princess gowns.

As seen before her surprise performance with close friend Selena Gomez, Swift also wore a purple halter-style minidress — referencing the album’s signature color — with brown and gold leather low-heeled sandals.

While wrapping the “Speak Now” era shortly before the launch of her last country album “Red,” Swift virally performed her hit song “Mean” at the 2012 Grammy Awards.

The occasion found the singer onstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in a vintage floral-printed knee-length dress with a silk slip base, comfortably paired with two-toned suede Oxford shoes.

Taylor Swift's Most Iconic Outfits From Her Original 'Speak Now' Era

Lena Finkel

Although there’s definitely a lot of debate, many Swifties consider Speak Now to be one of Taylor Swift’s best albums. So to say the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is highly anticipated would be an understatement.

The album gave us so many iconic songs — “Mine”, “Sparks Fly”, “Back to December”, “Mean”, and so, so many more.

Taylor’s Speak Now era also gave us a whole new aesthetic. Taylor loosened up her signature curls and traded in (most of) her princess costumes for knee-length halter dresses. While she didn’t completely ditch her country vibes — her fringe sequin mini dress and knee-high black boots still made an appearance! — it’s clear that Taylor’s style was starting to evolve.

In honor of the original Speak Now era, below are Taylor Swift’s most iconic outfits.

A year of the Eras Tour: A look back at Taylor Swift's record-breaking show

speak now tour red dress

One year ago, the crowd in Glendale, Arizona, erupted into a massive cheer in State Farm Stadium when Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" began playing and the backdrop screen transitioned to a countdown clock starting at 2:24.

None of the Swifties who traveled from all over the state of Arizona and the nation, dressed to the nines as one of her 10 eras, knew the tour would be three-plus hours. The fan screaming next to me from Pennsylvania who bought a ticket on StubHub.com for about $400 didn't know that we would go era-by-era through a 44-song track list. I don't think the singer, herself, knew when she hid inside a cleaning cart wheeled backstage, that her show would lead to a billion-dollar enterprise, Time magazine person of the year and an inundation of friendship bracelets. I didn't know the behemoth success following the Eras Tour star would send me packing from Phoenix to Nashville, Tennessee, to become the inaugural Taylor Swift reporter.

Swift's dancers flowed onto the stage through fog with pink, purple and orange parachute flaps. A compilation of songs from Swift's 10 albums — or eras — played as "it's been a long time coming" boomed into the stadium. Goosebumps covered the arms of thousands and tears cascaded down cheeks as the flaps revealed Miss Americana rising to begin her "Lover" set.

Eighty three shows later, here's a look back at the unprecedented tour that set a Guinness World Record . And fair warning, like her tour this article is an extensive rollercoaster.

Swept up in the hype, the world became Taylor Nation. Glendale, "Erazona ," was renamed "Swift City." Las Vegas lit up its arches in all 10 era colors. Arlington, Texas, dubbed one of its streets "Taylor Swift Way." Tampa, Florida, gave Swift a key to the city and invited her to be an honorary mayor. Houston renamed its venue "NRG Stadium (Taylor’s Version)."

Nashville, Tennessee, dedicated a bench in Centennial Park to the hometown singer. A Philadelphia radio station, 96.5 FM (WTDY), renamed itself Ninety-Swift-Five W-T-A-Y. Gov. Philip D. Murphy dubbed the "Taylor Swift ham, egg and cheese sandwich" the "state sandwich of New Jersey." Chicago lit up the top of Willis Tower in her album colors. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey renamed his city "Swiftie-apolis," and Santa Clara, California, Mayor Lisa Gillmor switched the city's name to "Swiftie Clara."

Internationally, fans in Brazil caught the attention of Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes and Father Omar, the rector of the Christ the Redeemer Sanctuary, who arranged to project a  "Junior Jewels" inspired T-shirt  onto the Christ the Redeemer statue. Flinders Station in Melbourne , Australia, flashed a wallpaper glaze of lights to welcome the Eras star. Singapore painted the Marina Bay Sands Resort all colors of vibrant lights.

It's a cruel summer with you

All four seasons met the fifteen dancers, four backup singers, six bandmates and hundreds of production and crew members, adding unpredictable weather to the mix. Mother Nature danced in a lightning storm to "Fearless" in Tampa and made the song "Midnight Rain" a reality in Nashville . Rain poured through the open-roofed stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, where Swift pushed puddles forming on her piano . The Swiftie fandom created its own natural phenomenon in Seattle after a seismologist registered a 2.3 magnitude earthquake on her Richter scale.

The intense heat in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, caused Swift to throw water bottles to fans and temporarily halt her show. Ana Clara Benevides Machado, 23, passed out and died of heat exhaustion. The heartbreaking news prompted changes at the Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos to allow fans access to water. Swift invited Benevides' family to her concert in São Paulo.

I want you to think of the memories made

Swift incorporated custom messages into each tour stop. At her international destinations, she welcomed fans in their custom languages. "Bienvenidos al Eras Tour," she said in Mexico City before hoisting her hands in the air. While donning either her pink or blue guitar before the title track of "Lover," she commonly announced the stadium attendance often record-breaking.

Outside of stadiums, thousands "Taylorgated," or showed up without a ticket to hear Swift's beats and dance on the concrete. Tens of thousands more logged on to watch livestreams from fans with tickets who agreed to spend concert time holding up their mobile devices in a tricep-burning position.

The number of viewers would jump before the "Champagne Problems" speech and acoustic set. To keep things fun and interesting each night, fans filled out "Swiftball" ballots guessing the singer's outfits from four "Lover" bodysuits and accompanying "The Man" jackets, three "Fearless" dresses, two "Evermore" dresses, six "Speak Now" gowns, three bedazzled "22" shirts, five "Folkore" dresses, four "1989" crop top and skirt combos, six "Midnights" T-shirt dresses, three "Midnight Rain" body suits and four "Karma" faux fur jackets. To see how many times the Eras star wore each outfit, check out the "Data Swiftie."

For fans who wanted to get alerts to watch the shows without having to calculate time changes, Swift Alert became the app for that .

Double clap, audience chants

A secret language formed between fans and Swift as new traditions popped up along the tour. The four lines fans screamed at the top of their lungs, no matter the city or country, were "cause shade never made anybody less gay" in "You Need To Calm Down," "what a shame she's f----d in the head" in "Champagne Problems," "f--- the patriarchy" in "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" and "don't call me kid, don't call me baby" in "Illicit Affairs."

Swift started every show strong with a very important question: Did her fans know the bridge to "Cruel Summer?" "Prove it!" she'd yell at some stops and the audience would, every single time, bellow, "I'm drunk in the back of the car." For "The Archer," fans printed and dispersed signs that read, "We will stay," to hold up when Swift asks, "Who would stay?"

In the "Fearless" era, fans double clapped with "13" drawn on the back of their hands in the middle of the bridge to "You Belong With Me." A trend of marriage proposals during "Love Story" picked up during the 2024 leg with partners popping the question as Swift sang, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring."

During "Marjorie," Swifties turned their phone flashlights on in tribute to Swift's grandma. Fans started timing the standing ovation and ear-shattering applause after "Champagne Problems." Livestreamers, like Tess Bohne , would display a clock and fans guessed if the cheers would surpass one, two or three minutes.

A snake shape slithered through the light-up braceklets handed out before the show at the start of the "Reputation" era. Fans yelled "1, 2, 3, let's go b----" before the first verse of "Delicate" as Swift counts on her fingers. Later in the song, Swift sings, "Do the girls back home touch you like I do?" and fans reply, "No, they don't." On rare occasion, Swift would let out a three-note riff during her "Don't Blame Me" belt.

After rereleasing her third album, the "Speak Now" singer added "Long Live" to the set list, bringing the total to 45 tracks. In the first verse when she croons "the crowds and stands went wild," the crowd indeed went wild.

In the "Red" era, Swift crowned a deserving fan with a black fedora during "22." They were typically children, but one adult Swiftie was crowned in Melbourne . Dancer Kameron Saunders had the only speaking line on the tour besides Swift during her song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." He said "like ever" at the American shows, but when the tour went international, he switched up the phrase each night. And yes, we track that. Swift knew all too well each crowd had "10 minutes to spare," and she played her longest song, in total, for about 14 hours.

She was only tied to the "Invisible String" for five shows and traded the opening "Folklore" era number to "The 1" in Arlington, before news of her split from actor Joe Alwyn . She brought "Invisible String" back for one night in Nashville because the Tennessee capital is home to Centennial Park. Nashvillians also noticed that Swift switched a note during "The 1" lyric "you meet a woman on the internet and take her home." She kept the key change for every succeeding show.

Right before the first lyric of "Style" during the "1989" set, fans began a tradition of saying, "What time is it?" to which the singer replied, "Midnight, you come and pick me up." In Sydney, Australia, a "Blank Space" chant from the 1989 World Tour was reborn and repeated in Singapore. Taylor Nation, Swift's marketing team, tweeted that it hopes fans at every tour stop going forward shout their city. In Philadelphia, a "Bad Blood" remix originated when Swift noticed a security guard hassling a fan . "She's fine. She wasn't doing anything. Hey! Stop! Hey, stop!" became the cool thing to say after, "It's so sad to think about the good times, you and I." Fans also incorporated a Kendrick Lamar line from the "Bad Blood" remix: "You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go."

And then came the surprise set . (More on her collaborators and announcements below.) Each night, Swift performed one song on the guitar and one on the piano that she hadn't yet performed on the tour. That is until 2024, when she added mashups and threw out her rule of never repeating songs. At the end of the set, she swan dives into a hole in the stage. Fans later caught a red light that turned green to signal it was safe to jump.

After meeting her at "Midnights," fans sang Jack Antonoff's version of "Anti-Hero." When Swift sings "tale as old as time," the crowd chimes in, "Taylor, you'll be fine." Tyler Conroy made a viral video of him screaming , "Where you going Taylor?" during "Bejeweled" before she sings, "I'm going out tonight," and the trend caught on like a blaze ripping through the Lover house. Finally, after Swift changed the lyrics to, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs," in Argentina with her boyfriend Travis Kelce in the crowd, that became the standard for fans. She has only sang it that way four times, when he was in attendance in Buenos Aires, Sydney and Singapore.

If you would direct your attention to the back screen

In addition to boosting economies everywhere she went, Swift created an abundance of news. She announced "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" in Nashville. She announced a new version of "Midnights" and premiered the "Karma (Remix)" music video featuring Ice Spice as the upstart rapper joined Swift in East Rutherford, New Jersey. She released "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" right before her Kansas City, Missouri, stop and then debuted the "I Can See You" music video starring Taylor Lautner and Joey King who were at the show. Lautner backflipped on the catwalk.

It might have seemed strange that Swift ended the American leg of her tour on a Wednesday in Los Angeles, but not to the eagle-eyed Swiftie who realized the date was 8/9. That's the day she announced the rerecording of her fifth album, "1989 (Taylor's Version)." The album came out during her break before her Argentina tour dates. It topped the Billboard charts and allowed her to bypass Elvis for the most weeks with an album at No. 1.

Then, she announced her 11th album, "The Tortured Poets Department," at the Grammys after winning her 13th career award. At her tour stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, she revealed there were four total versions of "Tortured Poets" and told fans they would get a different bonus track on each one : "The Manuscript," "The Bolter," "The Albatross" and "The Black Dog."

Welcome to the acoustic set

One of the most anticipated portions of an Eras Tour show is the acoustic set. At most of the concerts, she only spoke before the guitar song. In rare instances, she tested the microphone before the piano song and made an announcement.

Occasionally she invited collaborators to join her onstage. Marcus Mumford surprised fans in Las Vegas to play "Cowboy Like Me." Her co-producer and close friend Aaron Dessner from The National joined her six times on stage, in Tampa (twice), Nashville, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Santa Clara. Jack Antonoff came out to play "Getaway Car" in New Jersey. Maren Morris did a "You All Over Me" duet in Chicago. When their opening acts were canceled for weather, Gracie Abrams performed "I Miss You, I'm Sorry" and Sabrina Carpenter sang a dyad mashup of "White Horse" and "Coney Island."

Some of the surprise songs came with hidden messages. Fans speculated she sang "Bigger Than The Whole Sky" as an ode to a fan who died , "End Game" to Travis Kelce watching her show from the VIP tent and "Gold Rush" as a congratulations to Jason Kelce for retiring. She has performed "You're On Your Own Kid" five times, in Tampa, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Tokyo and Singapore.

And he never thinks of me, except when I'm on TV

To close out the first year of the Eras Tour, Swift released the third film version of her concert to streaming service Disney+. This version included "Cardigan" and four acoustic songs: "Maroon," "Death By A Thousand Cuts," "You Are In Love" and "I Can See You."

The second version came out on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13. Fans could rent it for 48 hours at a price of $19.89, and it included "The Archer," "Wildest Dreams" and "Long Live" cut from the original movie.

The original movie was released Oct. 13, in the middle of the Hollywood strikes. Swift did what studios and streaming services were unable to: make a deal with SAG-AFTRA. She worked with the unions and was able to market and show her movie how she saw fit. The film made more than $250 million globally and got her nominated for a Golden Globe award .

If you're still with me on this walk down Eras Tour Lane, it's important to make one final note before the tour resumes in Paris in May. Before her magnum opus took off higher than the "Bad Blood" flames, Swift chose "Mirrorball" and "Tim McGraw" to be her very first surprise songs. She ended year one with the same two songs, but flipped the instruments she played them on in a full-circle moment.

Her new album will come out April 19 and the full Eras Tour is streaming on Disney+, which begs the question: What her show will look like come Paris? She has a two-month break before 69 shows scheduled for Europe and North America. She also has two rerecords left to release: "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" and her self-titled debut album.

If there's one thing any Swiftie knows, it's Taylor Swift's ability to make news and create lasting memories through her record-shattering tour. What a first year; on to year two!

A Fun and Colorful Representation of Swift's Transition to Pop Music

Taylor Swift unleashes her pop side with the 1989 era. Wearing a pink crop top and skirt, she struts on stage to perform smash songs from her first pop album, which was released in 2014. Through songs like "Bad Blood", "Style" and "Shake It Off", she shows off her playful side, with bright colorful dancing and fun nods to the era , as seen with the golf club prop seen during "Blank Space."

Taylor's Version also included the bonus of her mesmerizing performance of "Wildest Dreams", which was not included in the theatrical release. It's a fun and exciting segment of the movie that represents how Swift transitioned from country to pop and proves that she never goes out of style with her music.

A Whimsical and Ethereal Era That Brings Back The Iconic Cabin

The Folklore era brought a sense of calm and serenity to the show, after earlier sets that consisted of fast-paced dances and bright lights. Wearing a flowing white gown, Taylor Swift returns to the iconic cabin and staircase backdrop, made famous from her first of the two albums released during the pandemic . For this era, she wears a beautiful flowing Alberta Ferretti white gown and performs highlights including "The Last Great American Dynasty" and "My Tears Ricochet" and returns to the famous love triangle created through a trio of songs .

This era showcases Swift's impressive poetic talent and her passion for storytelling through her folk-rock songs. It brings the fictional universe she created during the pandemic to life and offers epic tales of love and loss. Through the Folklore era, she touches base with every emotion, as seen in her touching "betty" to her powerfully angry "illicit affairs."

Who Taylor Swift's "Betty" Song Is About & How It Connects To Ryan Reynolds

A touching return to the beginning of taylor swift's career.

After the heavy-toned sets that were used in the earlier stages of the concert, Taylor Swift simply used her voice and her instruments to carry the acoustic set beautifully.

Taylor Swift surprised her fanbase when she announced an acoustic set for her concert tour. In Taylor’s Version of the Eras Tour movie, she announced more songs that were not included in the previous versions of her concert. Wearing a dark pink dress, she steps back from the dazzling lights and simply performs as herself.

Where this era shines is that it is stripped back and intimate. After the heavy-toned sets that were used in the earlier stages of the concert, Taylor Swift simply used her voice and her instruments to carry the acoustic set beautifully. It shows how, with just a guitar and a piano, she can dominate the SoFi Stadium in California, where the movie was filmed . This set truly depicts Swift’s pure talent as a performer and is an excellent return to her roots.

In Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version), Swift performs "You Are in Love", "Death by a Thousand Cuts", "I Can See You" and "Maroon" as part of her acoustic set.

8 Biggest Differences Between The Eras Tours Theatrical & Disney+ Streaming Versions

Gives classic winter vibes and her performance of champagne problems is breathtaking.

The Evermore set is arguably the most emotional aspect of the entire show. Similar to her Folklore set, Evermore features beautiful songs that tell different songs. Swift pays tribute to her grandmother through her touching performance of "Marjorie" and gives a stunning rendition of "Champagne Problems" playing on a moss-covered piano. This is also the segment of the show where she interacts most closely with her fans and shows her appreciation for their support .

Swift truly embraces the storytelling aspect of her songs in this era. She also adds a sense of witchcraft through the surreal and sinister performance of "Willow" with her dancers carrying glowing lights behind her as she wears an Etro cape and yellow dress. The only real negative aspect is that her song "no body no crime" remains absent from this section of The Eras Tour.

A Beautiful, Colorful, and Energetic Opening To The Eras Tour

The Eras Tour opens with a visually stunning Lover set, with the dancers wearing huge sunset-colored Loie Fuller-esque wings out of which Taylor Swift emerges to the tune of "Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince" before launching into her hit "Cruel Summer".

This set is full of catchy and upbeat songs that are the perfect opening to the show. It allows Swift the opportunity to hype up her audience further for the rest of the show, as seen by her energetic performances of "The Man" and "You Need to Calm Down."

The Eras Tour marks the first time Taylor Swift has performed songs from Lover in a concert, as the Lover Stadium Tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Stunning Conclusion To The Concert

Midnights , is Swift's most recent album released and serves as the final segment of the concert. Similar to Lover , Swift returns to the dreamy theme of the show, with her rendition of "Lavender Haze", followed by an upbeat performance of "Anti-Hero", later embracing her dark pop style, wearing a dark blue bodysuit to perform "Vigilante Shit" and "Bejewelled".

This era highlights the latest stage that Taylor Swift has reached in her career and her growth as a performer. It is a thrilling and entertaining segment that ends the concert on a high note. The album-inspired fireworks and confetti in the final song "Karma" prove that this was the perfect era to bring a stunning conclusion to the show.

A Fun and Energetic Segment That Shows Taylor's Appreciation For Her Fans

The fourth era of her career sees Taylor Swift and her dancers step into bright shades of red, paying homage to the title album. She kicks off this segment with a powerful performance of "22" which shows a touching moment between her and Kobe Bryant's daughter . Her performances of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "I Knew You Were Trouble" also had powerful and fun entertainment on the set.

What makes the Red era truly stand out, however, is the awe-inspiring performance of the 10-minute version of "All Too Well," which is a fan-favorite performance. This amazing performance represents what makes Taylor Swift who she is as an artist ; her incredible ability to distill pure emotion into a song.

A Beautiful Fairytale Experience For Swift Fans

In this set, Taylor Swift performs from her third album, Speak Now . In the early stages of the concert, she notably only performed one song from the album, “Enchanted”; in Taylor’s Version viewers were given the bonus of an extra performance with “Long Live”.

Where Speak Now lacks in length, it makes up its time with its beautiful staging and stunning performances . Taylor Swift enters the era in a cloud of smoke, wearing a stunning Nicola & Felicia gown in layers of different shades of purple. She is surrounded by her dancers who perform a complimentary ballet routine as she performs, adding a beautiful fairytale element to the song perfectly. Swift’s powerful performance and the subtle yet stunning staging, make Speak Now one of the most anticipated moments of the entire show.

A Nostalgic Return To High School With Classic Songs

The Fearless era allows Swift to return to her country roots; the choice songs and the golden staging of this era, bring a sense of fun and nostalgia for those who grew up listening to Swift’s music.

In the second act of the show, Taylor Swift brings her audience back to high school with the Fearless era. Wearing a beautiful golden Roberto Cavallari dress, she brings viewers to the era that arguably brought her to global attention. The Fearless set consisted of three classic songs, “You Belong With Me”, “Love Story” and “Fearless”.

The Fearless era allows Swift to return to her country roots; the choice songs and the golden staging of this era, bring a sense of fun and nostalgia for those who grew up listening to Swift’s music. Her heart-hands shared with the audience and her dancing reminds viewers of a young Taylor Swift during the early stages of her career and brings back memories of her previous shows. The only negative aspect of this era is that only three songs were performed, but the songs that were chosen were some of her most listened to, fifteen years after they were originally released.

Embraces The Darkest Aspect of Her Career Through Powerful Rock Songs

Swift deeply embodies the version of herself that seeks revenge for her past ordeals, and she embraces the role of the villain that the media tried to paint her as.

In the fourth act of the show, Swift effortlessly transformed from her enchanting set of Evermore to her dark snake-themed set of Reputation . The set opens with a giant snake slithering down the stage, an excellent representation of the labels given to Swift by the media. Taylor Swift performs in this era, wearing a striking Roberto Cavalli jumpsuit; she performs the songs "Ready For It", "Delicate," "Don't Blame Me" and "Look What You Made Me Do" from her sixth album.

Reputation is an era that is energetic and electric in its deliverance of the representation of the darkest moments of Swift's career. Swift deeply embodies the version of herself that seeks revenge for her past ordeals, and she embraces the role of the villain that the media tried to paint her as. Through her aggressive song performances and clever easter eggs , Taylor Swift takes Reputation to an entirely new level, making it the best era of The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) movie.

Screen Rant

10 taylor swift songs i really wish were in the eras tour movie.

Even though Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) is three and a half hours long, some of the Swifties' favorite songs are still missing.

  • Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) features more of Swift's songs, but still cuts some beloved favorites to keep runtime reasonable.
  • More songs from Lover, folklore, evermore, and Midnights are featured in the concert movie.
  • Some standout old songs like "Holy Ground" and "Sparks Fly" are excluded from the regular setlist.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) features more songs than any other recorded version of the concert, but there are still songs that Swifties will wish could have been included. Swift has already pushed the envelope of what a concert can be by showcasing her entire career, comprising 10 studio albums, in a concert that is over three hours long. There is a limit to what can be included in each era to keep the runtime of both the concert and the movie reasonable, but with literally hundreds of songs to choose from, someone's beloved favorite will inevitably be cut.

Lover, folklore, evermore , and Midnights are given preference; more songs from these eras appear in the concert movie because they are more recent and Swift never did individual tours for these albums. Swift almost completely ignores her debut album in the Eras Tour , and many great songs from the other five albums are missing. The sheer size of Swift's discography means that choosing a set list was always going to be a challenge, and for every song in the Eras Tour movie , there is another that is sadly left out.

8 Biggest Differences Between The Eras Tour’s Theatrical & Disney+ Streaming Versions

10 mr. perfectly fine, fearless era.

Fearless was the first album Swift re-released under the “Taylor’s Version” banner. The revamped album brought with it the “from the vault” song “Mr. Perfectly Fine,” which stands out among the additions to the original Fearless song list. “Mr. Perfectly Fine” amazingly takes listeners back with the signature Fearless style and tone. It would have made a complex performance to include songs that represent both what Fearless is then and what it is now. However, since it is an older album, the Fearless set is restricted to the songs that constitute defining moments of Swift’s career.

At the time of writing, Reputation and Swift's self-titled debut album are the only albums she has not re-released to reclaim the rights to them.

9 Holy Ground

“Holy Ground” is an underrated song from the Red era, with similar themes to folklore’s “the 1.” “Holy Ground” also stands out among Swift’s acoustic-based songs because it has a much faster beat. A few measures in, it is overtaken by a steady drumbeat, with pauses in the percussion at key points during the chorus. Its structure pairs well with lyrics reminiscing about a cherished past relationship.

“Holy Ground” is quick enough to keep a stadium energized, even if it is distinct from the big Red party songs. It might not be suited to a full cast of backup dancers, but a few performing more scene-like choreography as they do for “Lover” would be appropriate. “Holy Ground” lends itself well to performances, but it is cut from the Eras Tour with only the biggest hits of Red making it into the set.

8 No Body, No Crime

Evermore era.

Unfortunately, “no body, no crime” is still missing from the Eras Tour movie , which she performs with the band HAIM. The evermore era comprises several beautifully written songs, yet it is a little slow since most of these songs are melancholy serenades. The different pace and themes of “no body, no crime” would round out evermore's set, and possibly would replace “tolerate it” if it weren’t dependent on another band’s presence. HAIM did perform with Swift for one night at SoFi Stadium, but their appearance, as well as those of Gracie Abrams, Owenn, and GAYLE, are cut from the movie (via sofistadium.com ).

7 Out Of The Woods

Despite having a relatively small amount of unique lyrics since so much of the song is easy to sing along to repetition, “Out Of The Woods” still tells a clear and relatable story.

There are simply too many amazing pop songs from Swift's defining pop album 1989 , which marked her first major genre shift. However, “Out Of The Woods” is one of the most popular tracks which, in the days of the 1989 tour, involved a backdrop like the evermore era's which could have recaptured with the Eras Tour’s screens and pine tree set pieces. Despite having a relatively small amount of unique lyrics since so much of the song is easy to sing along to repetition, “Out Of The Woods” still tells a clear and relatable story.

Midnights Era

"Paris" is an upbeat addition to the Midnights album, using clever allusions to the craze of mainstream media and the analogy of the City of Love to tell a unique love story. This brilliant song could have been slotted in just after "Anti-Hero" with Swift continuing to take the stage by herself and some graphics of the Eiffel Tower on the screens. A costume change wouldn't have even been necessary — the Oscar de la Renta sequin shirt dress can stay, being one of the best ensembles of every outfit Swift wears in the Eras Tour movie .

5 Sparks Fly

Speak now era.

The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) fixes the theatrical version by including “Long Live,” so there is more than one Speak Now song. However, the Speak Now set is still different because most of the other eras are simply that album's smash hit singles. A song that was popular at the time of Speak Now that certainly deserves to be a part of the Eras Tour movie is “Sparks Fly,” due to its passionate and clever lyrics. Swifties can still rock out to the electric guitar and the punchy “Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain.”

All 48 Songs In Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Movie (Taylor's Version), Ranked Worst To Best

4 getaway car, reputation era.

“Getaway Car” is a popular song, and the reason it is not regularly a part of the Eras Tour is likely because of how the Reputation era is structured rather than the quality of the song itself. “Ready For It?” is the best possible choice to open the era, while the other three songs — “Delicate,” “Don’t Blame Me,” and “Look What You Made Do” — rank about above “Getaway Car” in terms of relevance. There is possibly a way to trim “Delicate” and combine it with an excerpt from “Getaway Car,” but it is understandable why they didn’t do this.

3 Paper Rings

"Paper Rings" is a track from Lover that centers around the forever uplifting lyrics of “I like shiny things / but I’d marry you with paper rings.” It would be an interesting addition to the Lover set because it would likely still involve a big dance number but might have a different style of choreography than “The Man” or “You Need To Calm Down.” Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy’s Dancing with the Stars routine shows how well the song pairs with a quickstep. “Paper Rings” might have also worked as one of the surprise songs included in the movie.

What Is Taylor Swift's Next Album & When Does It Release?

2 new romantics.

"New Romantics" is another highlight from the album that won Swift her second Grammy for Album of the Year. It has an unrivaled beat, rolling off oddly inspirational lyrics about having a laissez-faire attitude toward love and life. The lyrics “I could build a castle / Out of all the bricks they threw at me” and “Heartbreak is the national anthem / We sing it proudly” are some of her best. "New Romantics" would have worked well coming after “Style,” which is undoubtedly the best opener for the 1989 era.

Swift recently broke the record for the most Album of the Year wins, for Fearless, 1989, folklore , and Midnights.

1 Bigger Than The Whole Sky

At the beginning of the concert movie, Swift talks about the feeling of a “soulmate crowd situation.”

At the beginning of the concert movie, Swift talks about the feeling of a “soulmate crowd situation.” In this way, she strangely makes the song she sings next, “Lover,” about her and the audience. She could have possibly done this again if “Bigger Than The Whole Sky” was the second to last song, indicating to the Swifties that the show is almost over, and she wants to thank them, before launching into the lyrics: “Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye / You were bigger than the whole sky / You were more than just a short time.”

Additionally, the one thing that the Midnights set at the end of the Eras Tour is surprisingly missing is the slow heartbreak ballad. “Snow On The Beach” is a strong contender to be this addition. However, the lyrics of “Bigger Than The Whole Sky” are sweet and earnest and would make for a great performance. While this song would have contributed to a strong conclusion for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) , it’s not as if Swifties are complaining much when they can now watch the concert as many times as they want.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is a film rendition of the colossal worldwide event that sees the legendary pop star hit the stage in a specially curated film event. Performing the hits of her over seventeen-year career in music, The Eras Tour highlights Taylor Swift and her team as they put on a show of a lifetime.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

  • Every day each car in  Moscow metro passes  more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
