Trophy Roadmap:

Introduction:

Welcome to the My Friend Peppa Pig trophy guide! This very short and very easy platinum from Petoons Studio & Outright Games is a fun-filled adventure with Peppa as her new best friend.

There is a good amount of RNG in this game, and therefore you may get scenes slightly before, or after where they appear in the walkthrough. I have tried to cover these off with all eventualities, however you may need to skip over one part and come back to it after.

Tips and Strategies:

The game starts off with a very short tutorial, create your preferred character and just keep following the tutorial until to can walk up to Peppa’s house.

Trophy Walkthrough:

Once you are inside Peppa’s house, keep walking right until you come to the lounge, walk over to the TV and switch it on. This should trigger George entering the room crying as he’s lost his dinosaur.

Go into the lounge and sit on the sofa which should trigger Peppa talking about Potato City. Then stand up, and sit back down a couple of times. This will trigger Dad to enter saying he’s lost his glasses.

After this you should find yourself in the campsite. Madame Gazelle will ask for sticks to be collected for the campfire which you will be volunteered for.

***If at any time Peppa starts to fall asleep, you will be taken back to Peppa’s house to go to bed. This doesn’t matter as you can return to where you are at any time once you wake up the next morning***

If you had to go to bed, after waking up, go downstairs and the Windy City trip cutscene should trigger. If you didn’t go to bed, just go back to the car and drive back home, go into the house and it should still trigger.

Once back down the bottom of the tower, walk over to car and go back to Peppa’s house.

***Don’t worry if there is construction on the road, this is a random event and you’ll be able to carry on to destination after cutscene.***

Go outside the house and walk left until you get to Granny and Grandpa’s house. ( You may already be outside )

***Construction on the road can happen here too***

Walk into the house and left into the kitchen to pick up the bird food, go back into lounge and fill up Polly’s bowl.

After the Moon cutscene, walk all the way left and before you reach the end Peppa might start falling asleep, it’s ok if this happens.

When you wake up the next day, go downstairs and a cutscene should trigger to visit Potato City.

If you don’t have to go to bed, just to upstairs to Peppa’s bedroom and the cutscene should trigger.

(I think this triggers if all other trophies have been collected. )

2. My Friend Peppa Pig Story Walkthrough

Peppa's House

Walk all the way to the right and interact with the TV in the living room. Wait for a few seconds until Daddy Pig walks in without his glasses. Look for the glasses on either the kitchen table, by the front door, or up the stairs.

Find Daddy Pig’s Glasses.

Return to the front door, then go back to the TV and change the channels a few times until George walks in crying about his missing dinosaur toy. Just walk outside, then go back inside and ask Daddy Pig for help.

Recover Mr. Dinosaur for George.

If Miss Rabbit shows up with an ice cream cart, just go through the event. It is not important. Use the bikes outside of Peppa's house to reach the forest.

Walk past the hot air balloon for now - it's just a fast travel to the Snowy Mountain and we still need to look around in the forest first. There's a bunch of trash on the ground in the next screen and there are three more just past the gate. Put it all in the bin just because you're a good person, then keep going and investigate the tracks on the forest floor. Follow them to the end.

Follow the tracks in the forest and find out who left them.

Peppa's family will eventually arrive and have a picnic with you. Get the picnic basket from the car and bring it back to the camping spot. After this scene finishes, Madame Gazelle will ask you to collect sticks for a campfire. Follow Peppa and pick up one stick at a time to finish the campfire. There are two sticks in the screen to the left.

Collect sticks to build a campfire in the forest.

Interact with the campfire and conclude that whole ordeal, then take the hot air balloon to Snowy Mountain.

Snowy Mountain

Use the ski lift and interact with the snowman at the top of the mountain. Move the big snowball, then the small one. On the right side of the snowman are three pieces to use for the face and arms.

Build a snowman in Snowy Mountain.

Talk to Miss Rabbit at the top of the hill (you should already be there)... and... talk to her again by the hot air balloon. That's it for the mountain.

Ride your bikes back home.

Go inside and talk to Peppa's parents, then move the car to the left.

Windy Castle

Visit Windy Castle.

Take the car back home.

Use the car again.

The Playgroup

Walk down to the right and interact with the tree. Tiddles the Tortoise is stuck in the tree! Enter the builidng at the top of the hill and talk to Madame Gazelle; she'll get Tiddles out of the tree if you get her a ladder. Go back to the building again and Tiddles will be saved from the perils of gravity.

Help Madame Gazelle get Tiddles down from the tree.

Interact with the blue bus outside the building to go to the museum.

Walk all the way to the right and ride the rocket.

Take the rocket to the moon in the Museum.

You'll have to walk all the way to the right to leave the museum and that'll take you back to the forest. That's fine, actually; ride your bikes back home from here.

Walk past the car and down the hill to the left. You will eventually get to our last important area. Just walk past the kite on the ground.

Granny & Grandpa's House

Go inside and grab the bird seed from the kitchen, then put it in the Polly's bowl. Stand around in here until Granny Pig shows up and asks for help with her chickens. Pick up the black chicken in the house and take it allllll the way to the left, then go for the one in front of the house.

Take all of Granny Pig’s chickens back to the coop.

Enter the yellow car in front of the house and drive it to the beach.

Interact with the rockpool three times. Easy.

Find three different things in the rockpools.

Take the car and get out of here.

Go down the hill and return home.

Head upstairs and Peppa's parents will take you to... Potato City. This was my third time watching Mr. Bull explain that roads do indeed need to be repaired over time. Riveting.

Potato City

Once you're done talking to Mr. Potato, you'll get your last achievement. No need to know what Potato City is like inside!

Peppa was right, everything is on a hill

Like me, if you have a child who is around the age of five, it is likely that you have endured many, many hours of Peppa Pig: one of the most popular and successful children shows of the last 10-15 years. To say my daughter is obsessed is truly an understatement, and being the stellar parent that I am (and to cheekily and slowly begin to introduce my daughter to video gaming), I took it upon myself to not only play but also 100% complete My Friend Peppa Pig, a game you really do need to complete for one specific reason.

It’s important to stress how every inch of this game was designed for young children that LOVE Peppa Pig. If you have a young child who doesn’t watch Peppa Pig, they’ll have zero interest, and if you’re an adult—again, with no interest in Peppa Pig—steer clear. I’ve yet to see my daughter more excited to grab a Switch controller than when I loaded up My Friend Peppa Pig, and her excitement didn’t stop there.

My Friend Peppa Pig allows players to live out their fantasy of being a part of Peppa’s world. As you begin a new game, you are prompted to create your own character with a plethora of animals to represent you best, clothing colour options and accessories should you wish to add some. The animals include a dog, wolf, horse, rabbit, fox, sheep, mole and mouse. We opted for a sheep, as she wanted to be Suzy Sheep. She was very disappointed to meet Suzy in-game and insisted on refusing to interact with this “copy-cat”!

An initial concern of mine was the gameplay element. Thankfully, My Friend Peppa Pig is incredibly user friendly and introduces the super simple controls well. To move your character, you use the left stick, and interacting with almost anything uses the A button. That’s pretty much it for the bulk of the game. Things that are interactable will display the button to press, ensuring that gaming novices don’t miss out on a new interaction, and yes, you can jump in muddy puddles as often as you like!

Outside of the muddy puddle jumping, there is plenty to do with Peppa and co. As your unique character, you arrive at Peppa’s house and from there on, you dictate where you go and what you do. You want to go to school? Jump in the car with Mummy and Daddy Pig and head left. You want to go skiing? Go right from Peppa’s home and hop in Miss Rabbit’s hot air balloon! You want to visit Grandma and Grandpa Pig and head to the beach with them? You can! All of the locations you can find in Peppa Pig are here. From Peppa’s bedroom to the museum: the possibilities are truly endless for a young fan.

Alongside the exploration of My Friend Peppa Pig, events will trigger when certain actions are taken, and you’ll be tasked with simple puzzles that you and Peppa must solve together. Keep in mind that this game is tailored for a very young audience; a character in the scene will usually state what needs to be done. For example, when Tiddles the Turtle was stuck in a tree, we were told to speak with Madame Gazelle, she then told us to find a ladder, to which Peppa responds that she remembers seeing one outside of the school.

My Friend Peppa Pig, is less of a game and more of an interactive experience, and in all honesty, that’s all it needs to be. My daughter was responding to the characters in the game with things like, “Okay, let’s get the ladder!” and, “Follow me, Peppa!” For anyone who has seen Peppa Pig, it’s a rare sight to see Peppa so consistently obedient.

Whilst you can essentially go anywhere in the Peppa Pig world, there is one area that is so hyped up beyond belief, the moment it was mentioned, my daughter was transfixed on going there: Potato City. This is where the problems arise. We searched far and wide, encountering newer places and triggering even more events, like the hugely not annoying at all Bing Bing Song, yet we could not find Potato City. This was the first time my daughter had experienced a video gamer’s rage—and it was not pretty.

My Friend Peppa Pig holds the player’s hand in terms of gameplay and puzzle solving, but in terms of direction and how to get to a specific location, the handholding is almost non-existent. After spending way too long visiting the same locations over and over, we looked online for the route to Potato City. As it turns out, to unlock Potato City, you must see every location and complete every single event that exists in My Friend Peppa Pig. Only then, will you have the ability to unlock Potato City, where you must still complete a specific action to access the cut scene that takes you there. Without looking online, or with my help, my daughter would still be sitting on the sofa in an endless cycle of muddy puddles, Bing Bong Songs, and hot-air balloon riding.

As explained, this game is geared toward very young children, which is why some mechanics—or lack thereof—don’t make sense. The pacing is very, very slow, and text cannot be skipped due to the voice acting and it all playing out as your own TV special. A fast travel option would have been an excellent inclusion; maybe talking to Mummy or Daddy Pig could present a map where you can choose where to go. A way to tally where you have and haven’t been would have been great when we began our Potato City quest. What's more frustrating is if you are in the middle of an event or puzzle, and you accidentally go right instead of left, or vice versa, taking you to a new area, that entire puzzle or event disappears and you need to repeat previous actions to unlock it again. A great example of this is when we were on our final puzzle before Potato City would become available, and we had to help George find his dinosaur (Dinosaur… Grrr!). We couldn’t reach it and needed an adult's help. My daughter recalled that Mummy Pig is sometimes in the field to the left, we went left and she was there, but she wasn’t the correct adult. Upon returning, the dinosaur toy had vanished and was back in George’s hands. Turns out, we needed to ask Daddy Pig who was back at the house, so we returned to the place where the event triggered, and did it all over again. Thankfully, I convinced my daughter that George had just lost it again (silly George), and she had the idea to check where it was last time.

Finally, Potato City was ours, and oh boy was it… fine? My daughter spent less than four minutes in Potato City, before leaving, running around other places for a bit, and then politely requesting me to get her Play-Doh out. My Friend Peppa Pig has not been played by her since.

For review purposes alone (I promise), I dove back in with my own character and experienced areas my daughter had on her own, and, yeah, it’s 100% not targeted at someone like me, or many gamers. I had achieved my own 100% completion, in just under an hour, with very little desire to replay any areas. Experiencing My Friend Peppa Pig solo, did make me appreciate specific areas of the game more, namely the controls and the visuals.

An issue that many child friendly games have is the “cheap-ness” they can often display, because some would assume that graphics aren’t too important to younger audiences. My Friend Peppa Pig doesn’t have this issue at all. The game is identical to the television show, visually identical. I say visually, because the moment Miss Rabbit opened her mouth, my daughter exclaimed, “That isn’t Miss Rabbit!” - and she was right! But aside from that oddly on-point spot, many of the show's voice actors are present, literally putting you in Peppa’s world.

For those parents that don’t really want to be sat with their children monitoring how long they spend playing My Friend Peppa Pig, there is a parental control in the settings menu. When switched on, Peppa will, around that time, say it’s time for bed and just go home and sleep. A very neat addition.

My Friend Peppa Pig is not a game for the masses. Instead, it carefully caters its gameplay, visuals, story and controls to those they know will play it most. However, without my assistance and some online help, Potato City would have only ever been a dream for my daughter, and I imagine many other children around her age. And in all honesty, it isn’t worth the trouble! Aside from this gripe, it is an impressive looking game with easy controls that puts the individual in their own episode with one of their most beloved characters, Peppa Pig.

• No direction or hints to help young players
• Potato City isn’t worth the requirements needed to unlock it

• You can 100% completed this game in under an hour

Having experienced many hours with the swine on my TV screen I found this review hugely entertaining!  It’s also nice to read that Outright Games actually got many of the voice actors, which is something that frustrates me no end about their Paw Patrol games.  Anyway, great review!

Welcome to My Friend Peppa Pig! Have a fun-filled adventure by becoming Peppa Pig’s new friend! Create and dress your character, ring Peppa’s doorbell, and begin a story that is all up to you. Peppa suggests activities everywhere you go – help Daddy Pig find his glasses, follow the animal tracks in the Forest, splash in muddy puddles, and much more! It is just like being in an episode of the TV show, where all your favorite characters are excited to meet you. From the Beach to the Museum and even Potato City, every playtime is a new experience with your friend Peppa Pig.

Stage 1 – Play through the Story.

Play through the story by following the requests as they occur in the story. There are no missable trophies as you will need to complete all the story requests before you can go to the Potato City. Even after you visit Potato City you will be able to return to the different areas of the game as the hub is Peppa Pig’s House, from here you can go to other locations. Potato City is a amusement park based around fruit, vegetables, Mr. Potato (who we can assume is the mascot) and, not related to the park, dinosaurs (because "children like dinosaurs" as stated by Mr. Potato).

Known Rides [ ]

• Pendulum Rides: A pair of pendulum rides that are only seen in the far shot of the park.
• Helter Skelter: A potato themed Helter Skelter that appears multiple times throughout the episode.
• Ferris Wheel: A potato themed Ferris Wheel that appeals multiple times throughout the episode.
• Potato Rocket: A space/potato themed roller coaster. It is shown to have a very steep drop and a loop-de-loop.
• Cardboard Cutouts: Cardboard cutouts that patrons can put their faces on. So far, a tomato, carrot, and pumpkin standee have appeared.
• Dinosaur Garden: A very out of place area of the park dedicated to dinosaurs. According to Mr. Potato, it was added because he believed that “dinosaurs ate potatoes.” It features two rideable dinosaurs (a stegosaurus and a triceratops).
• Vegtable Roundabout Swing Thing: A merry-go-round with vegtable seats.
• Mr. Potato called the merry-go-round "The Vegetable Roundabout Swing... Thing" because he could not think of what to call it. His mouth was just plain normal when he said the name.
• There is a place with the same name mentioned during " Camping Holiday ". However, based on that place's description, it's most likely different from this Potato City.
• The theme park is a parody of many theme parks, including Disneyland and Gilroy Gardens .
