I and my wife were there for 2 nights on out honeymoon and loved the place! The location and the view was breathtaking! Only negative fact was that the air-con was not working due to some power problem. However, since its not that warm and very windy we did not feel it too much. It is a bit out of the way and the road to the location is broken which also adds to the adventure. Therefore, would recommend to have your own vehicle and not go out once you are there. There is also a beautiful stream flowing below which is a short walk down through the tea bushes. The care-taker Gamini went out of the way to keep us happy and the food was great! Overall it was good. However, feel that it is a bit over priced and would not recommend to stay more than 2 nights since you can not really travel around due to the bad road.

The couple who own this hotel could not be more friendly. They were so welcoming even when we turned up really late at night after getting stuck on a bus! The room was really clean and spacious and the breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka- they offered western or Sri Lankan+both tasted amazing! Really helpful with directions and maps to the walking spots.

Very satisfactory, all staff including the general manager - Mr. Revatha Hettiarachchi is very welcoming and close to guests! Highly recommended location to chill and stay at Bandarawela! The Hotel is in Bandarawela, this town is very noisy and dirty! Wie stayed just one night on our journey to Nuwara Eliya, this was our worst stay on our whole trip! The bathroom was very dirty, wie did't Take a shower and wait for the next Hotel! The food was ok, also the breakfast! Probably you can't get more for this price!!

The staff booked us a van back to the train station with ease. Also there is a very cosy dining room which is the eating area. Had a very homely feel to it. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for the money I had paid and I would come back again.

The Long Beach Hotel was a breath of fresh air. Everything we expected from a professionally-run resort was there. The private beach was especially nice, and it is possible to spend hours there catching the waves. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thumbs up.

The Cook prepared an excellent BBQ dinner while the Butler was very attentive. The Owner of the bungalow came to greet us on Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 when we check-out. Excellent hospitality. The only area of improvement is to have faster WIFI.

Cannot say that it was bad. But since the hotel is old, bathroom really small so hotel staff cannot do much to compensate for this. But staff of the hotel is quite helpful and friendly.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed in beautiful Dutch House and were treated like royalty! so much attention to detail made the property ever so interesting, quaint yet luxurious. The team at Dutch house went out of their way to make our stay perfect, ever so caring and obliging. The meals were delicious and impeccably presented. thank you for spoiling us on our little vacation

This is a true heritage hotel. Some reviews mention the fact that it is in a time warp. This is true but it's lovely to find a place where you can be transported back half a century. It is comfortable and cosy, germutlich.

The property is literally in a time capsule - the history is so interesting to learn and several photographs and it has a whole tale of its own. My mother grew up in the local area and remembered it well. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, more than willing to assist and the breakfast was tailor made according to our desires.

The building looks, well-waxed floors, are clean, the architecture, the history of the building, the large serviced garden space, the staff friendliness (there were one or two members of staff who forgot to greet with a smile or a simple hello). The location is right in the middle of the town, which makes it easy to explore the town.

We are located in the centre of Bandarawela, a little rustic town in the hill country, with easy access to many tourist hotspots.
