Can you cancel your Air Arabia flight?

Yes! Depending on your fare you may be entitled to a full refund from Air Arabia.

You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours from the scheduled departure time.

Flexi or Extra Fare

Able to do the cancellation up to 8 hours before the scheduled departure time and without a cancellation charge.

*Cancellations are not applicable for flights from/to Morocco. Some reservations are not eligible for cancellations such as promotional tickets, free gifted tickets, etc.

You can cancel your reservation online or by contacting Air Arabia call centre , or by visiting their sales offices and partner travel agents.

Your reservation number will be required for this process and a cancellation fee will be applied.

*For flights operated by Air Arabia, Air Arabia Maroc, and Air Arabia Egypt, please visit their website for detailed fees for cancellations and modifications.

Air Arabia does not have a refund policy (except for flight to/from Cairo). Upon cancellation, Air Arabia will retain the remaining amount as a credit towards a future flight which can be used for travel within one year from the date of payment by the same passenger only.

Yes! Customers are often looking to modify their travel date, travel time or even travel destination. Luckily, Air Arabia allows for such changes to be made without a hassle. The allowed changes are dependent on the purchased fare type. Some reservations are not eligible for modifications such as promotional tickets, free gifted tickets, etc. A modification fee will be applied plus any fare difference that may occur.

Modifications can be done up to 24 hours from the scheduled departure time (72 hours for flights from/to Morocco).

Able to do modification without the modification charge up to 4 hours for flights from/to the U.A.E and Jordan, and up to 8 hours for flights from/to Morocco and Egypt.

Yes! You can always apply for a FREE name change if the reservation is still on hold and has not been paid for. However, once the reservation is paid, to change the name of the passenger, you will be required to pay the cancellation fee of the current booking, a name change fee of AED 200.00 , as well as any fare difference if applicable. Please note that you are required to complete this process at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure.

*The name change facility is not applicable for Air Arabia Maroc, Air Arabia Egypt , and Air Arabia Jordan .

Sharjah: Air Arabia has announced that it is offering more flexibility to its customers by introducing a new modification fee waiver policy in light of the current travel restrictions and to allow customers the choice of changing travel dates.

According to a press release issued by Air Arabia on Monday, the new waiver policy offers passengers the flexibility to modify their travel bookings without charge and reissuance fees, further underlining Air Arabia’s commitment to providing flexibility and prioritising the convenience of its customers.

Air Arabia customers can change their existing and new bookings made until 31st March, 2020, for travel until 31st December, 2020, up to 72 hours prior to departure. This applies to all flights across the Air Arabia network from its hubs in the UAE, Morocco and Egypt.

Customers will only need to pay the fare difference, if any, at the time of rebooking their flights. Air Arabia’s dedicated call centres and sales offices available throughout their entire network will assist customers with their bookings and enquiries.

Air Arabia introduces new modification fee waiver policy

SHARJAH - Air Arabia has announced that it is offering more flexibility to its customers by introducing a new modification fee waiver policy in light of the current travel restrictions and to allow customers the choice of changing travel dates.

According to a press release issued by Air Arabia on Monday, the new waiver policy offers passengers the flexibility to modify their travel bookings without charge and reissuance fees, further underlining Air Arabia’s commitment to providing flexibility and prioritising the convenience of its customers.

Airlines in the country on Saturday announced a waiver for passengers who have been forced to cancel their flights or change their travel plans because of restrictions brought about by Covid-19. Emirates Dubai-based Emirates airline introduced a waiver policy that will allow its passengers to change their travel dates for free, without penalties. It cover all destinations across the Emirates network and applies to all tickets issued on or from March 7 until March 31. Customers will be able to change their booking to any date for travel within an 11-month range in the same booking class, however, difference in fare - if there's any - will apply. Current refund and rebooking conditions for tickets issued before March 5 still apply. Adnan Kazim, chief commercial Officer, Emirates Airline, said: "The situation remains dynamic and we will continue to look at ways to provide flexibility, convenience and peace of mind for our customers." Etihad Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways has also introduced fee waivers for travellers who are required to cancel their flights or change their arrangements because of Covid-19 restrictions. It said that for passengers who are due to fly before June 30, but their flights have been affected because of restrictions, travel can be rebooked for departures up to July 15, without standard change fees. Only one change is permitted but further changes will attract standard fees, it added. Re-routing or rebooking can proceed only if there are no travel restrictions on intended routes. Passengers can also request a cancellation. In this case, the refund is without penalty on the unused portion of any tickets. Those passengers who have used Etihad Guest Miles to pay for their travel are also eligible to cancel or rebook flights if their travel is impacted by flight cancellations or by travel restrictions imposed to help contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the UAE carrier said. flydubai Budget carrier flydubai also offered the flexibility of rebooking the passenger or refund. "Passengers who are affected and need to change an existing booking should send an e-mail to [email protected] with 'Travel restrictions' in the subject line and will be able to rebook to another destination or arrange a refund. "Alternatively, please call our Contact Centre on (+971) 600 54 44 45 or send a private message on Facebook," it said in a statement on its website. It advised passengers, who booked their flights through a travel agent, to contact them directly for rebooking or refund. Air Arabia Sharjah-headquartered Air Arabia said on its website that passengers whose flights are affected by travel restrictions in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iran may choose to change or cancel their flights at no cost by contacting its call centre.
