This was an insightful, fun and memorable tour. Dubrovnik and Split just are stunning to all your senses. The tour guides we had for both locations were locals born and bred in each city. They were a wealth of information and surprised with some fun facts. Included transfers were great and on time. Gulliver Travel were very responsive with communications, prior, during an post the tour with any queries I had.

Best of Croatia 11 Days, Self-Drive

Overall good. The only issue was lack of free parking at some hotels In Zagreb had a pay a large amount to park the car at the airport, which did not need until we left Zagreb 2 nights later. While parked outside the hotel some locals deliberately scratched the hire car with a key or screw driver. It would have been much better if the hire car was delivered to hotel the morning that we departing Zagreb

Aside from the fact that Croatia is absolutely spectacular, and idyllic in every way for a Viking trip, I felt that the way the bike trip was organized, was very confusing, lacking enough, detail, and handholding for a novice. The problem always was our luggage how to get from one point to another and worry about what happens to our luggage, contrary, to my understanding, we are selves had to take the luggage on the ferry with us, which was extremely difficult to push your bike up and into a ferry with your luggage. Many other cases are even when we got off the ferry and our luggage had to go to a hotel. There was confusion and or there wasn’t something arrange for the luggage to take it to the hotel, so what we thought would be taken care of in terms of the hassle of having a luggage on a bike trip was an essence still a hassle and deterred from the freedom that we were looking for on a bike trip . Our local man on the ground Daniel Piccini was fantastic. Quality bikes were amazing. He was very efficient and helpful and solve a lot of our problems that Anessa should’ve been solved by the company organizer, which is tour radar. It doesn’t mean I wouldn’t use to a radar again I just simply means I would ask a lot more questions and want a lot more detail before undertaking such a trip.

Very good customer service. Our tour contact was very attentive and checked in with us every day. It was very hot and humid and we would have preferred to hike earlier in the morning or later in the day but the schedule usually didn't allow for that. As a result we took shorter hikes/walks. It might be good to go to fewer islands and stay two nights on each to allow time for a hike and time to explore the towns and the beaches. Croatia is a beautiful country and we wanted to explore it to the fullest.

DAY 4 - ŠIBENIK WALKING TOUR & WINE TASTING ON THE COUNTRYSIDE:    Start Your day by meeting with our local guide for Šibenik with whom You'll explore the magnificent medieval heart. After Trogir meet with Your driver and head to Split - Croatia's 2nd largest city and home to the Palace of Roman emperor Diocletian. Enjoy a full-day transfer from Split to Korčula with a local food experience in Mali Ston and wine tasting in the small local winery on the Pelješac peninsula. Drive to the first stop- the city of Ston  is about 2-hour long. You'll have 1-hour of free time to explore this charming city famous for salt, oysters, and the remarkable 5.5km defensive medieval wall. It was a 9-day trip (29th October 2022 till 06th November 2022) starting from Zagreb, Varazdin &Trakoscan tour, Istria, Plitvice lakes, Sibenik, Split, Trogir, Montenegro, and Dubrovnik. The boss, Mr. Aleksandar, provided us with a Mercedes V-Class Avantgarde and a great driver during our tour. The itinerary was great, and not too hectic. The hotels were centrally located and near restaurants and all the happening places. We could easily walk around these places even late at night and it was very safe. The tour guides provided in every city were very knowledgeable and gave us interesting facts about the places. Thank you for the awesome tour guides Ivana, Mirjana, Frane, Tihomir, and Bojan. Mr. Kruno, our driver, during the 9 days tour, was a great driver always punctual with a warm smile. My dad admired his patience and careful driving skills. Mr. Aleksandar kept track of our journey and always enquired about our situations. He even recommended some good traditional food at the restaurant called Peka in Dubrovnik, which we are grateful for, and Mr. Kruno took us there even though it was after his working hours. The whole tour was awesome, without any hitch, and it was beyond our expectations. Everything was superb and no words can describe the beautiful places that we visited, the fascinating natural scenery of the sea, mountains, historical places, and buildings. We never knew Croatia was such a beautiful country. We highly recommend to all our friends out there to use this company. The services provided are definitely more than 5 stars.
