Scott’s tour sold out the first day, and he announced 11 new dates on Sept. 1, including second stops in Dallas, Miami, Phoenix, Austin, Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto, and more. Officially dubbed as “Utopia Tour Presents Circus Maximus,” Scott kicks off his new tour in support of his new album on October at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it runs through the fall and winter with dates scheduled in Dallas, Texas, Chicago, and Vegas. It marks Scott’s first headlining run since 2021’s Astroworld Fest tragedy , which left 10 dead and hundreds injured. As of publication, Houston is still not listed on the tour schedule .

Travis Scott is the stage name of Jacques Webster, a rapper hailing from Houston, Texas, USA and born on the 30th of April 1992. Since debuting in 2009 at the age of 17 he has been signed to the record labels of both Kanye West and T.I.

To look at the career of Travis Scott seems a lot like looking into the fantasies of any teenage rap fan in the United States of America. However, the only thing about Scott that’s almost too good to be true is the sheer amount of talent that he possesses. Here we are, one of the hottest names in Hip-Hop, with a list of collaborators that reads like a who’s who of the genre’s biggest names and a future so bright it’s dangerous to look at it with shades… is a man so young that at the time of writing he’s been legally allowed to drink for a little over two and a half years.

Scott began to produce beats at the age of sixteen; forming a duo with his friend Chris Holloway named The Graduates. These led to some E.P’s and even a couple of albums but they weren’t to last, and Scott pulled away from both of them at around the same time that he dropped out of college in his home state of Texas and moved to Los Angeles. It was soon after he settled into the city of angels and started releasing his music onto the internet that T.I heard his track “Lights (Love Sick)”, immediately got in touch and soon after, had met up with Scott in person and freestyled over Scott’s track “Animal”.

This would not be the last time that Scott would work with certified superstars in his music career, in fact very soon afterwards he found himself in the company of a bona-fide legend. Through an industry contact, he managed to catch the ear of Kanye West, who signed him to GOOD Music’s production division production division Very GOOD Beats. His production was even a feature of GOOD Music’s debut compilation album “Cruel Summer” working with the likes of Common, Raekwon, John Legend and his boss over three different tracks.

However, all this work was a diversion from his debut mixtape “Owl Pharaoh”. It was released in 2013 after being started in 2011 and since then, his star has continued to rise rapidly. He’s produced everyone from Jay-Z to Big Sean and seems poised to do great things, with his whole life ahead of him, Travis Scott comes highly recommended.

Live reviews

I was beyond excited for this show! I heard it was supposed to be visually stunning so I was prepared for some high quality views. It was a lot of fun but I have to say, I think my expectations may have been too high. The roller coaster type set up was really fun to watch and the overall lighting and video playing during the show was really cool. Sound on the other hand was rough. In a big arena, sound usually isn't an issue so I think it may have had something to do with Scott's performance. At times it was really hard to tell which song he was singing or where he was at in the song. When he talked to the audience it was super hard to tell what he was saying. Again, I'm not totally positive what was at fault here. We were also disappointed that the big screen wasn't playing the live show, only two smaller screens on the sides that we couldn't see. All in all it was a cool show, but I would probably read more reviews before going to another!

One of the best concerts I have been to, but it seemed sort of unorganized compared to other concerts I have been. But, this is probably due to the fact that the opening act canceled. Instead of the opening act, Drake made a surprise appearance making it all worth it. If Drake would't have shown up though, I'm not sure it would make the list for best concerts I have been to. Since I was GA Floor, I got there about 6 hours early and got second row and got to help Drake over the barrier when he came into the crowd. There was constantly shoving and people having to be removed from the crowd, this was expected though because it was GA. Overall, it was a great experience. My only advise is to get there very early if you want to be near the front.

This concert was AWFUL. Everyone waited at least 4+ hours just to see Travis Scott. Nobody cares about the wack DJ set. He played 3 songs and walked out. We all paid 100-150 dollars for this awful concert. They promoted "the night show" as an actual concert and he was supposed to play for at least 30 minutes. He played maybe for 7 minutes. I want my money back for this wack ass show, as well as everyone else. He promoters Dallas Entertainment are false advertisers, liars, and scammers. Never buying tickets from them again. Waste of time and money.

I've been to tons of concerts and Travis Scott by far has been the best. It was crazy hype from the moment he stepped on stage to the last song. The energy was amazing. He did a great job at getting the crowd excited, everyone was going crazy. He got the crowd so loud that people in the hotel across the street were coming to the windows and watching. It was insane, and soooo much fun. If you have the opportunity to go to a Travis Scott concert 100% you should. It was the most insane and life changing night. Hands down best concert I've been to.

This was by far the best night of my life, I have so much respect for him because he woke up that day feeling like shit and I absolutely love his music. I loved it when he came out onto the floor and gets involved with his fans, sadly I didn't get to be the person he came up to but I am still having concert withdrawal of how much I miss that moment. Please come to Calgary one day with you as the main act because I would pay any price for that, you are the best performer I've ever seen.

Every and any opportunity to go to a Travis Scott concert and see him perform should be taken because the man and his shows are LEGENDARY. General admission shows are cool, but there are so many people that make it somewhat difficult to fully enjoy but that is just part of the experience. If it gets difficult to breathe or there is something wrong though, people will help you and the security is usually very attentive. LA FLAME IS A LEGEND AND HIS PERFORMANCES ARE TO DIE FOR!!!!

Well Travis scott missed his connecting flight so he wasn't there. The festival on its own was great and fun. I would recommend a new bathroom situation, and it would be fun if they had more rides and possibly games. Seating was ok but there is room for improvement. The parking was good a little far. The stage was amazing and the water stations were good but maybe have bigger signs I heard others say it was difficult to locate. Overall good show and fun time.

best performer ive ever seen. he always transfers so so so much energy to the crowd and everyone just goes completely wild. went to the Cleveland show and he surprised us by performing the drop of goosebumps 15 times to break the hall of fame record as his finale. he performed so many good songs that the crowd loved and it was all in all an amazing show. by far the best show ive ever been to. there's so much energy and hype it makes you just feel great.

Honestly best concert I have ever been to, The opener Khalid,was phenomenal. When Travis finally came on he yells over the mic, "This is your last chance to get to the pit come down now!" This unleashed a stampede of fans, including me, to sprint to the pit and hop the barrier. He then proceeded to put on a wild performance of all his classic songs. I made it to the very front row by the end of the concert. Travis is truly a performer for the fans.

Travis Scott Announces Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour

Inspired by his record-breaking No.1 album UTOPIA, Travis Scott’s UTOPIA – Circus Maximus Tour will transport fans into an unparalleled audiovisual experience. The tour will include Travis Scott’s largest headline show to date with a show at SoFi Stadium on November 5, 2023.

$2 from every ticket sold will go to Cactus Jack Foundation which is a 501(c)3 with a mission to uplift Houston youth through toy drives, scholarship programs to HBCU college students, and fulfilling expenses for education and creative endeavors.

The announcement follows on the heels of Travis Scott’s electrifying live performance at the iconic Circus Maximus in Rome, Italy, which sold out 60,000 tickets in just 2 days.

PREVIOUSLY: Travis Scott is taking his Billboard 200 No. 1 album Utopia around North America this fall and winter for the Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour, Live Nation announced Tuesday (Aug. 29).

The now-39-date jaunt begins at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on Oct. 11 and travels throughout major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and New York City before wrapping Dec. 29 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. The Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour will also include Scott’s largest headlining show to date at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on Nov. 5.

Tickets will go on sale Thursday, Aug. 31, at 10 a.m. local time at travisscott.com . Travis Scott Officially Announces 2023 Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour

Travis Scott has announced a 2023 North American tour. Dubbed the Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour, the trek will take place this fall, beginning in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 11 and ending on December 29 in Toronto, Ontario. These dates vary from the ones Live Nation leaked earlier this month before deleting its social media post and ticket pages for the tour. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time. Scott had initially planned a concert in Houston, but that date does not appear in the itinerary. A spokesperson for the city’s mayor told Rolling Stone that “at one point” the show had been planned and the mayor’s office communicated with Toyota Center to coordinate a safety plan. The fate of that show is unclear.

A spokesperson for the mayor told Rolling Stone Tuesday that “at one point” both the Toyota Center and Live Nation had notified the City of Houston that Scott planned to perform in the city. “Our public safety leaders and special events subject matter experts decided to communicate with the Toyota Center and coordinate on a safety plan,” the spokesperson said. Sylvester Turner originally said earlier this month that Scott had “booked the Toyota Center for a concert in October.”

A spokesperson for the mayor told Rolling Stone Tuesday that “at one point” both the Toyota Center and Live Nation had notified the City of Houston that Scott planned to perform in the city. “Our public safety leaders and special events subject matter experts decided to communicate with the Toyota Center and coordinate on a safety plan,” the spokesperson said.

At the start of August, Scott performed at Rome’s Circus Maximus , doing several Utopia songs and hosting a surprise appearance from Kanye West. His show caused the ground to shake so much that locals feared there was an earthquake , causing calls for a concert ban at the historic venue in the future.

The Utopia - Circus Maximus Tour will be the rapper’s first headlining tour since the 2021 Astroworld Festival tragedy , which resulted in 10 deaths and countless injuries. Travis Scott Re-Sale Ticket Prices Plummet for Peculiar Reason

Next Wednesday (October 11), Travis Scott will officially begin his North American Utopia—Circus Maximus Tour in Charlotte, North Carolina. Consisting of 39 dates, the tour’s tickets originally went on sale on August 31, with the 11 dates added afterward going on sale on September 1. However, it now appears that these sales saw many pesky resellers claiming tons of tickets, which led to an interesting debacle a month later.

On Thursday (October 5), 404 Media released a report addressing why many of the available tickets for the Utopia — Circus Maximus Tour are being sold for a very small amount of money currently. If you check several of the dates on StubHub, a common site for reselling tickets to concerts and sporting events, you’ll notice that some tickets cost around $20, which is much less than they were initially sold for.

404 Media writer Jason Koebler suggests that this is because of a site called PFS Buyers Club. Specializing in “credit card maxing,” PFS Buyers Club is an organization that conjures up methods of buying products instantly and reselling them for profit. In the past, PFS and clients that took their advice would often buy collectible coins made by the U.S. Mint at face value, then re-sell them to make money.

Recently, though, PFS and its members switched to buying concert tickets in bulk and re-selling for profit, which has been a trusted way to make money for many scammers in the past few years. However, when doing so for the Utopia—Circus Maximus Tour, this plan quickly fell apart.

Since Scott will be touring at large arenas, the demand for tickets was not what PFS had anticipated. Thinking fans would be eager to get their hands on tickets at any price, PFS allegedly told members that their return on re-selling Utopia tickets would be around “$ 25 per ticket,” per Koebler. Instead, due to relatively low demand, PFS is projected to lose more than $1 million in this scheme, while those who followed their plan will also be in a significant financial hole.

Koebler notes that if this trend continues and Scott fans’ demand for tickets does not increase, PFS could go out of business entirely.

How Much Are Travis Scott Tickets?

Standard general admission tickets to Travis Scott’s UTOPIA tour cost $65 to $345 + those dreaded service fees.

O fficial Platinum tickets will cost you a lot more, so be sure to steer clear of those by filtering them out when you select your ticket options. However, there are some benefits to Official Platinum if you have the wallet for them. Learn more about them below.

What Are Those Official Platinum Tickets?

If you’re seeing very expensive tickets that are not VIP, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are very expensive and are offered well over the standard ticket prices. They’re the kind of ticket pricing that is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) has priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down, and it usually goes up.

Artists can choose not to offer Official Platinum or limit the amount for charity purposes. The Cure , Pearl Jam and U2 have all been recognized as artists that don’t use these dynamic pricing tactics.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert very easy if you’re willing to shed the extra coin. They can be bought during a presale without a presale code (doesn’t always apply to Verified Fan). Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

If money is not an object, you should definitely bank on the convenience of getting Official Platinum tickets.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account ( go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page ) at least 15 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one,  create one now .

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

Travis Scott is back.

Two years after his tragic Astroworld incident, the 32-year-old rapper will tour arenas and stadiums all over North America this fall as part of his 28-concert ‘Utopia Presents Circus Maximus Tour.’

That includes a huge show at East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium on Friday, Sept. 29.

“I miss the road, I miss y’all,” [sic] the “SICKO MODE” star shared on Instagram .

The tour announcement comes on the heels of the release of Scott’s fourth studio album “Utopia” which hit number one on the Billboard 200 in its first week and features big-name artists like Beyoncé , Drake , Playboi Carti , The Weeknd , SZA and more.

On, Friday, July 28, Scott dropped “Utopia” which quickly shot to the top of the Billboard 200 charts.

Travis Scott Giza Pyramids Concert Tickets Sold Out in 15 Minutes

American rapper Travis Scott’s ‘Utopia’ concert, set for 28 July, has sold out all premium and VIP tickets 15 minutes after the prices were released. Premium tickets sold for EGP 4,000 (USD 129), while VIP tickets were sold at EGP 6,500 (USD 210).

The rapid sellout follows Scott’s announcement that he will debut his new album, ‘Utopia,’ in a live-streamed concert held at the Pyramids of Giza. Tickets to attend the concert live are also being sold, and the event is being promoted by Live Nation.

The upcoming album is especially anticipated, as the last time Scott released a studio album was ‘Astroworld’ in 2018. While pre-orders for ‘Utopia’ are available, it currently has no release date.

‘Utopia’ is also the singer’s first album release after the Astroworld Music Festival incident in 2021, where ten concertgoers died and dozens more were injured.

However, a Grand Jury in Houston, Texas in the US recently decided that Scott and the festival organizers would not face criminal charges for the deaths.

The announcement of the Pyramids concert has been met with both enthusiasm and unease in Egypt. While the premium and VIP tickets sold out quickly, some are concerned with the controversy in Scott’s career and what it means for him to perform at Egypt’s most iconic monument.

Additionally, there have been many safety and security concerns about his concerts in the past, which have added to the worries .

'This event was Travis Scott’s festival': Lawyers argue rapper should stay in concert disaster lawsuit

A ttorneys representing people killed and injured at the 2021 Astroworld festival on Monday tried to persuade a Harris County civil district court judge to keep the event’s headliner , rapper Travis Scott, among the defendants in the sprawling civil lawsuit.

“This event was Travis Scott’s festival and it was crafted through his tour agreement with Live Nation,” said Noah Wexler, one of the attorneys representing the victims, responding to arguments that Scott wasn’t central to the concert’s planning.

Monday’s hearing came three weeks before the planned start of the first trial related to the concert tragedy where a crowd crush killed 10 people and injured scores of others. District Court Judge Kristen Hawkins did not make a decision on Scott’s involvement on Monday. 

Scott’s attorneys in March filed a motion asking for Hawkins to issue a summary judgment in favor, arguing that he couldn’t be held responsible for the planning and security of the concert because he primarily acted as a performer. Brody said there were examples of Scott stopping the show four times, but he said the artist wasn’t aware of the greater peril in the crowd until the show had ended.

“He did what he does at all of his performances,” said Steve Brody, one of Scott’s attorney. “If he sees an issue in the crowd, he does stop. He stopped four separate times.” 

Motions filed over the first part of this year have laid out two main arguments about responsibility for the disaster: that the people planning the concert knew about safety concerns beforehand and that efforts to stop the show once the danger was apparent were too slow.

If next month’s trial happens, it will be the first time the concert’s aftermath reaches a courtroom. Last year, a grand jury declined to indict Scott and five other people on criminal charges related to the concert. The families of four of the people killed in the concert have reached settlements over their deaths.

Hawkins last week denied a motion to dismiss two of Scott’s companies from the lawsuit. The motion to dismiss Scott and XX Global, another of his companies, was opposed by both the plaintiffs and by another defendant , ASM Global, the company that manages NRG Park.

Wexler argued that Scott’s agreement with concert promoter Live Nation gave him a large degree of control of the show. Scott’s attorneys argued other people were trusted with the responsibility of planning and security.

“There’s no evidence of extreme or outrageous conduct on the part of my clients,” Brody said.

Scott, a Houston native, wasn’t present in the courtroom. Instead, dozens of attorneys, their staff members and reporters watched more than three hours of arguments about who should and shouldn’t be on trial on May 6.

Apple again seeks a way out

Scott wasn’t the only defendant who argued they should be removed from the case. Monday’s hearing also included arguments for summary judgment by lawyers from Apple Inc., which live-streamed the concert; ASM Global, the company that manages NRG Park, which also made arguments seeking summary judgment; B3 Risk Solutions, the staffing company hired to provide a safety management team to the concert; and Unified Command LLC, which set up the festival’s closed circuit cameras and command center.

Apple’s attorney accused the victims’ attorneys of attacking the company’s First Amendment rights through arguments that blamed the tech company for building up hype for the show and accused it of ignoring the crisis in the crowd.

“A live-streamer at an event has no affirmative duty to ensure an event is safe or to rescue concert-goers from harm,” said Apple attorney David Singh.

The company also pushed back against the victims’ arguments that it had placed live-stream cameras within the concert area without permission, pointing to communications that Singh said showed the concert’s organizers knew and approved of the cameras' location on the morning of the show.

The victims’ attorneys opposed both companies’ efforts to get out of the lawsuit. Hawkins had previously ruled against a different motion by Apple , which argued that the victims hadn’t shown enough evidence to keep the company in the suit.

All the companies said that parts of Texas civil law should protect them from being held liable for the concert, including one case in which a court ruled that a radio station couldn’t be held responsible for the death of a person who died in a drunken driving crash after a show they promoted.

The plaintiffs said that the companies that produced and promoted the show, and the other companies they hired, acted as a “joint enterprise” and should be brought into the trial.

Special master appointed

Hawkins also announced that she had appointed a special master to review “discrete discovery issues.”

The special master, Terry Jennings, a former state appeals court judge, will sift through data obtained by the Houston Police Department as parts of its criminal investigation into the concert .

Some of the defendants have argued that they didn’t release the data personally, but rather that Apple released data to police, and that it should be returned to them instead of allowing the victims’ attorneys to see the information, according to Hawkins’ order.

The police department obtained about 17 terabytes of data, according to Hawkins’ order.

A single terabyte can contain millions of documents and hundreds of thousands of photos.

Hawkins tasked Jennings with reviewing the police data and making recommendations to her.

Attorneys of one of the plaintiffs, Seyth Boardman, told Hawkins in court they were seeking a stay of her orders regarding the special master, which will result in another hearing later this week.

Separately, Wexler told the judge that he was still seeking data from Scott’s cellphone, which he reportedly dropped in the ocean in October 2023 . Wexler complained that while Scott’s attorneys had obtained data from the phone, he hadn’t been given everything from it.

Scott’s attorney said the data recovery efforts retrieved 120,000 texts dating back to 2017 and said that all of the “responsive data” from the phone had been produced.

Hawkins told the attorneys to meet on it but indicated that there might be another hearing to resolve the matter.
