Manage your data

You can choose how your personal data is used. Vendors want your permission to do the following:

TCF vendors

Store and/or access information on a device

Cookies, device or similar online identifiers (e.g. login-based identifiers, randomly assigned identifiers, network based identifiers) together with other information (e.g. browser type and information, language, screen size, supported technologies etc.) can be stored or read on your device to recognise it each time it connects to an app or to a website, for one or several of the purposes presented here.

Use limited data to select advertising

Advertising presented to you on this service can be based on limited data, such as the website or app you are using, your non-precise location, your device type or which content you are (or have been) interacting with (for example, to limit the number of times an ad is presented to you).

Create profiles for personalised advertising

Information about your activity on this service (such as forms you submit, content you look at) can be stored and combined with other information about you (for example, information from your previous activity on this service and other websites or apps) or similar users. This is then used to build or improve a profile about you (that might include possible interests and personal aspects). Your profile can be used (also later) to present advertising that appears more relevant based on your possible interests by this and other entities.

Use profiles to select personalised advertising

Advertising presented to you on this service can be based on your advertising profiles, which can reflect your activity on this service or other websites or apps (like the forms you submit, content you look at), possible interests and personal aspects.

Information about your activity on this service (for instance, forms you submit, non-advertising content you look at) can be stored and combined with other information about you (such as your previous activity on this service or other websites or apps) or similar users. This is then used to build or improve a profile about you (which might for example include possible interests and personal aspects). Your profile can be used (also later) to present content that appears more relevant based on your possible interests, such as by adapting the order in which content is shown to you, so that it is even easier for you to find content that matches your interests.

This can for example be used to adapt the order in which content is shown to you, so that it is even easier for you to find (non-advertising) content that matches your interests.

Measure advertising performance

Information regarding which advertising is presented to you and how you interact with it can be used to determine how well an advert has worked for you or other users and whether the goals of the advertising were reached. For instance, whether you saw an ad, whether you clicked on it, whether it led you to buy a product or visit a website, etc. This is very helpful to understand the relevance of advertising campaigns.

Measure content performance

Information regarding which content is presented to you and how you interact with it can be used to determine whether the (non-advertising) content e.g. reached its intended audience and matched your interests. For instance, whether you read an article, watch a video, listen to a podcast or look at a product description, how long you spent on this service and the web pages you visit etc. This is very helpful to understand the relevance of (non-advertising) content that is shown to you.

Understand audiences through statistics or combinations of data from different sources

Reports can be generated based on the combination of data sets (like user profiles, statistics, market research, analytics data) regarding your interactions and those of other users with advertising or (non-advertising) content to identify common characteristics (for instance, to determine which target audiences are more receptive to an ad campaign or to certain contents).

Develop and improve services

Information about your activity on this service, such as your interaction with ads or content, can be very helpful to improve products and services and to build new products and services based on user interactions, the type of audience, etc. This specific purpose does not include the development or improvement of user profiles and identifiers.

Use limited data to select content

Content presented to you on this service can be based on limited data, such as the website or app you are using, your non-precise location, your device type, or which content you are (or have been) interacting with (for example, to limit the number of times a video or an article is presented to you).

Ensure security, prevent and detect fraud, and fix errors

Your data can be used to monitor for and prevent unusual and possibly fraudulent activity (for example, regarding advertising, ad clicks by bots), and ensure systems and processes work properly and securely. It can also be used to correct any problems you, the publisher or the advertiser may encounter in the delivery of content and ads and in your interaction with them.

Deliver and present advertising and content

Certain information (like an IP address or device capabilities) is used to ensure the technical compatibility of the content or advertising, and to facilitate the transmission of the content or ad to your device.

Match and combine data from other data sources

Information about your activity on this service may be matched and combined with other information relating to you and originating from various sources (for instance your activity on a separate online service, your use of a loyalty card in-store, or your answers to a survey), in support of the purposes explained in this notice.

26 Tours in Las Vegas

Below you will find a list of the best tours in Las Vegas. This has been created through the expertise of our own in-house travel gurus as well as TripAdvisor and Google Maps reviews and is specially curated to include something for everyone.

Las Vegas may be known for its casinos but as you can see from the long list of Las Vegas tours below, there is so much more to Sin City than that!

1. Night Bus Tour

Operated by Big Bus Las Vegas , this night tour lets you see The Strip at its brightest! As you make your way through the city on a double-decker bus, you can admire the sparkling lights of some of Las Vegas’ most well-known landmarks including the Bellagio and MGM Grand before stopping to see the light show on Fremont Street. The tour guides are informative and friendly and can give you some great tips on what to do afterward.

If you want to explore Vegas during the day, you can also take their daytime hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tours.

2. The True Gems of Las Vegas Scavenger Hunt

Here at Let’s Roam, we love scavenger hunts nearly as much as we love to roam so we have created this awesome Downtown Las Vegas Scavenger Hunt that will take you through some of the most popular attractions of Downtown Las Vegas including Fremont Street, Symphony Park, and Downtown Container Park. While you race your nearest and dearest through the city streets, you’ll be challenged with trivia and learn a lot about the city!

3. Night Tour of the Neon Museum

If you adore all things retro, the Neon Museum should be high on your to-do list. This nonprofit museum showcases some of Las Vegas’ famous old-school signs. They offer nightly guided tours where you can see their collection of hundreds of signs in their full blazing glory. While some have been restored, others have been left as-is and it’s easy to get an idea of the rich history behind them.

For safety reasons, all visitors must be at least 12 years old. While it’s best to visit the museum at night, they do offer tours during the day, if you can’t quite squeeze in otherwise.

4. Pawn Stars Tour

Run by Anna Bananie Tours, the Pawn Stars Tour takes you to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop made famous by the television series Pawn Stars. During the tour, you can get a behind-the-scenes look at what really goes on when the cameras aren’t rolling. If you’re a major fan of the show, you can even book an exclusive meet and greet with the cast members themselves. The tours leave from the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino each lasts approximately four hours.

5. Film Locations Scavenger Hunt

Speaking of filming locations, movie lovers will adore this Las Vegas Film Locations Scavenger Hunt . Lasting around two hours, the hunt will take you to some of the most recognizable sots on the Las Vegas Strip including Caesar’s Palace, the Bellagio, and The Visage. This is a fun way to find the settings from some of your favorite movies and shows! You can go at your own pace which gives you the chance to recreate scenes from Hollywood movies.

Food tours are a great way to get to know a city and are a fun activity for hard-core foodies and for people who just love to eat and make new friends. We highly recommend starting any vacation with a food tour which not only gives you an interesting perspective of the city but it always gives you enough time to go back to some of the laces that you fell in love with!

6. Downtown Las Vegas Food Tour

While Las Vegas became notorious for its over-the-top buffets, Taste Buzz Food Tours wants to show you just what culinary delights Las Vegas has to offer. During this three-hour tour, you will get to taste the food that locals eat, stopping at five mom-and-pop restaurants along the way. At each restaurant, you will try up to three different dishes which ends up being enough food to fill the hungriest of bellies!

If you prefer to stay closer to the touristy areas, they also offer tours of the Strip and the Arts District.

7. Las Vegas Strip Food Tour

Las Vegas is full of restaurants that are owned or run by celebrity chefs and while it can be hard to get a table at some of these, Secret Food Tours helps you get your foot in the door with their Las Vegas Strip Food Tour. During the three-and-a-half-hour tour, you will try everything from pizza to shortbread while learning about the history and culture of Las Vegas. There is a lot of walking so make sure to wear comfortable shoes or you can numb the pain a bit by opting for their upgraded package which includes three alcoholic drinks.

8. Afternoon Culinary Adventures

Another great food tour option is Afternoon Culinary Adventures run by Lip Smacking Foodie Tours. This two-and-a-half-hour tour will take you to four noteworthy restaurants where you can get a taste of many dishes. The helpful guides are more than happy to give suggestions on where else to eat in the city and can help even locals discover something new! Tours start at 1 p.mm on Wednesday and Friday through Sunday and we recommend eating a light breakfast beforehand as the samples are huge. Upgraded cocktail packages are also available and if you want to go ultra-fancy, you can even combine the food tour with an evening helicopter ride to see how the high rollers live!

Hoover Dam Tours

The Hoover Dam was a public works project built during the 1930s and its proximity to Las Vegas has made it one of the most visited noncasino attractions in the area. It’s fascinating to see and during a day trip, you can learn more about the engineering expertise that went behind the design and why it’s still important today.

9. Half-Day Hoover Dam from Las Vegas Tour

Organized by Gray Line Las Vegas, this half-day excursion to the Hoover Dam takes you from The Strip to the dam, giving you plenty of time for photos at the famous Las Vegas welcome sign. The views along the way are fantastic and the energetic and knowledgeable guides will keep you entertained during the four-and-a-half-hour-long tour. This is a great option for people who want to see the Hoover Dam but don’t want to mess around with a rental car. The tours run daily and the tour bus will pick you up from your hotel.

10. VIP Deluxe Hoover Dam Trike Tour

Life is great when you have your own set of wheels and this Hoover Dam Tour run by Vegas Trike Adventures gives you the chance to explore this marvel of engineering in style on your own Rewaco trike, a three-wheel motorcycle. The tour takes around five hours and along the way, you can catch views of Lake Mead, Boulder City, and, of course, the Hoover Dam. The tour guides point out popular attractions throughout the tour and give you enough time to take photos of some of the hotspots. While the time at the dam itself is a bit limited, life is all about the journey, right?

Keep in mind that the trikes are designed for three people but can’t exceed a combined weight of more than 400 pounds. If you love the experience of riding the trike, you can also join one of their tours to the Red Rock Canyon or the Las Vegas Vegas Strip.

11. Hoover Dam SUV Tour

This fantastic tour run by Pink Adventure Tours takes you to the Hoover Dam in a custom-built, open-air SUV complete with oversized windows. The three-hour tours pass by Lake Mead and the Colorado River on the way to the dam and once you arrive, you will have the opportunity to walk over the 900-feet tall Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge to view the dam from the Arizona side.

Pink Adventure also offers Grand Canyon and Las Vegas tours and you can arrange a private tour if you’re traveling as a group or would prefer a specific departure time.

12. Hoover Dam Ultimate VIP Tour with Lunch

While the Hoover Dam may not seem like the funniest of subject matter, these belly-busting tours by Comedy on Deck Tours will leave you laughing for hours. On this seven-hour tour, tour guides double as comedians to give you the best “dam” experience around. During the tour, you will stop by the iconic Las Vegas sign for photos and drive through Boulder City and the tour price includes lunch.

They also run a Grand Canyon tour if you want to keep the laughs coming! Although they only offer pick-up service from a few select hotels in Las Vegas which means you have to make your way to a departure point, this also means that you will arrive at the Hoover Dam before all of the other tour buses.

Grand Canyon Tours

The Grand Canyon really needs no introduction. As one of the largest and deepest canyons on the planet, this magnificent crevasse showcases millions of years of history and leaves most visitors gaping in awe. Although it’s a bit of a trek to get to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, it’s also one of the most popular day trips and there is no surprise why! While there are many different ways you can view the canyon, there is nothing quite like taking a Grand Canyon helicopter tour which gives you the chance to see it both from above and below, or a Colorado River rafting tour that puts you into the heart of the canyon.

13. Grand Celebration Helicopter Flight

Operated by Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters , the Grand Celebration tour gives you a bird’s-eye view of some of Nevada and Arizona’s most awe-inspiring sights including Guano Point, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, and Eagle Point before dropping to the bottom of the Grand Canyon for a 30-minute tour. The tour lasts around four and a half hours and includes a picnic served complete with bubbles.

The tickets are pretty pricey, so this is ideal for a grand celebration or a special event. If you want to see more of the canyon, they also offer long tours as well as ones that include access to the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

14. Grand Canyon Rafting Experience

Many people dream of seeing the bottom of the Grand Canyon and this adrenaline-rushing rafting tris lets you get a whole new perspective on this spectacular natural attraction. The excursions led by Grand Canyon Rafting Experience perfectly mix serene moments and thrilling rapids to give you an experience that you will never forget.

While the rafting trips vary in length, most last for at least four days so this is great for people who have time to really immerse themselves in the beauty of the canyon. If you don’t have the time to spare but would love to go rafting, they also run a half-day rafting tour of Horseshoe Bend.

15. Grand Canyon West Rim Tour

This whopper of a tour offered by Max Tour includes a visit to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, the Seven Magic Mountains, and the Las Vegas sign. The tour lasts roughly around 13 hours and includes a hotel pick-up breakfast and the Grand Canyon entrance fee.

16. Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tour

Run by Grand Canyon Destinations , this 15-hour bus tour is a great option if you don’t want to make the long drive to the Grand Canyon yourself or are on a budget. Tours go along the historic Route 66 through the Mojave Desert. Before reaching Grand Canyon National Park, the tour will stop by the Grand Canyon Caverns. From there, you will head to the South Rim of the canyon. Here, you will have three hours to explore before heading back to Las Vegas. You also have the chance to join an optional walking tour in the canyon where you can learn more about the flora and fauna that thrive there as well as the long history of the canyon.

If you want something a bit more personal, Grand Canyon Destinations also offers a small group tour. All tours include breakfast and a box lunch to allow you to focus on the beautiful scenery rather than your rumbling stomach.

17. King of Canyons Sunset Helicopter Tour

This perfectly-timed four-hour tour run by Grand Canyon Helicopters takes you to the canyon and back, flying into Las Vegas just as the sun sets. The flight prices include round-trip transportation from Downtown Las Vegas and The Strip. Departure times vary by season so make sure to check their website to confirm the most up-to-date schedule.

This wonderfully-named tour run by Maverick Helicopters whisks you from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon passing over Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam, Fortification Hill, and Lake Las Vegas. The flight includes a 30-minute landing at the bottom of the canyon where you can indulge in snacks and sparkling wine while marveling at the rock formations rising high above you. Tours depart frequently throughout the day and the ticket price includes pick up and drop off service to locations within five miles of the Las Vegas Strip and airport.

19. Grand Canyon Helicopter Floor Landing Tour

This four-hour tour run by the creatively-named GC Flight takes you by Lake Mead, Fortification Bill, the Colorado River, and the Hoover Dam as you make your way to the Grand Canyon. Once arriving, the pilot will expertly lower the helicopter to the bottom of the canyon, giving you impressive views along the way. Upon touch-down, you will have 30-minutes to enjoy a sparkling wine picnic and take photos before heading back to town. This tour option is a bit less expensive than some of the other ones listed above and also includes transportation from Las Vegas hotels.

Tour Description

We do not use the word "Ultimate" lightly in reference to this experience. The Ultimate Las Vegas Tour is our most popular private sightseeing tour in Las Vegas. On this tour, you will be transported from your local point of origin throughout the most popular areas of Las Vegas, The Strip, and Downtown too. On this tour you are going to be transported in comfort and style, and also figuratively back in time to the beginnings of all that is Las Vegas. While the main drag of early-day Las Vegas was in Downtown sprouting out from the train station along Fremont Street, The Strip has since grown with colossal-sized hotel palaces. Although it technically is outside the Las Vegas city limits, The Strip is what we think of when we dream of Sin City and this is where our journey begins. We begin our tour with a stop at the famous Las Vegas sign for the ultimate tourist picture. Then, we cruise down the famous Las Vegas Strip enjoying panoramic views of the city. Discover the entertainment capital of the world with spectacular views of the Bellagio fountain, the laser beam at the Luxor and the dazzling Stratosphere Tower on your drive down the Las Vegas Strip. As you sit back and relax, enjoy the wonderful narration of your private guide. You will soon develop a keen sense for the fabulous, the wealth, the opulence and the murky history of city of Las Vegas. This private tour is expertly guided and provides round trip transportation from your point of origin within 10-miles of the Strip. Otherwise, our meeting location is at the Mandalay Bay hotel. Enjoy as you are entertained by your knowledgeable, friendly, and fun tour guide, a hospitality professional of the highest degree. This tour is an exquisite, private guided experience of glamour and back stories that you will not hear elsewhere. All details of your tour and your confirmation are emailed directly to you after booking.

2. Plan your Vegas trip itinerary

You have lots of options when it comes to putting together a Las Vegas itinerary . It depends on what you want to do and see, as well as how many days you have in the city.

How many days to spend in Vegas

It’s hard to see all of Las Vegas in a day, but if you’re short on time, two days is enough. Ideally, I recommend planning a 3-day trip to Vegas so you can see all the top attractions.

Vegas trip itinerary ideas

For some ideas on how to plan a trip to Vegas , here are sample itineraries for one, two, and three days.

1-day Las Vegas itinerary

2-day las vegas itinerary, 3-day las vegas itinerary.

Begin your  day in Las Vegas  by visiting the  Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign . You can catch the  Hop-On/Hop-Off bus there and take it to Downtown Las Vegas, where you can explore this entertainment area.

Then, go to The Venetian  and check out  Madame Tussauds  and the  gondola rides  at the  Grand Canal Shoppes .

Later, head to the LINQ Promenade and ride the High Roller  during sunset. At night, walk to the  Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas , where you’ll have a great view of the  Bellagio Fountains . The water show is one of the best  free things to do in Vegas , although if you want to see it from the Paris viewing deck, you should reserve a  ticket  (It is also included at the  Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass ).

Seeing the  Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign  is a rite of passage, so start there. This is also where you can catch the  Hop-On/Hop-Off bus , which will transport you around the Strip.

If you like thrill rides, stop at  New York-New York ‘s  Big Apple Coaster  before continuing downtown. Then you can do the  Las Vegas Downtown – Fremont St. walking tour , one of the best  things to do in downtown Las Vegas .

Later on, head to the  LINQ Promenade , where you can eat, shop, and ride the  High Roller . You can also get awesome views from the 1,149-foot-tall  SkyPod  at  the STRAT . The SkyPod has a late-night bar and lounge, so it’s the perfect place to wrap up a  Las Vegas couples itinerary .

A  Las Vegas weekend itinerary  is ideal because you can experience some  daytime activities in Las Vegas  before diving into the nightlife.

First, take a break from the Strip with a half-day  Hoover Dam tour . When you return to Vegas, take a quick break, then do go to a  pool party in Las Vegas.  If that’s not your thing, you can take in the scene at  Fremont Street , perhaps with a ride on the  SlotZilla zip line  or a visit to the  Mob Museum , one of the  best Las Vegas museums .

If you feel it’s to early to go to bed, grab cocktails at a swanky casino or do a bar crawl .

Ideally, I recommend at least 3 days for your Las Vegas trip so you can fully enjoy all the top attractions. Spend your first day taking the Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tour , starting at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign .

As you make your way along the Strip, stop by The Venetian , where you can see the wax figures at Madame Tussauds and take a gondola ride at the Grand Canal Shoppes .

Later on, check out the entertainment and attractions at the LINQ Promenade . If you perfectly time your ride on the High Roller , you can catch the Bellagio Fountains water show from the observation wheel.

The next morning, get in a nice swim or sunbathe at your hotel’s pool before the day gets too hot. Then, check out a Las Vegas museum , like the Mob Museum or the Erotic Heritage Museum .

In the afternoon, get a spectacular view of the city by taking a Las Vegas Strip Helicopter tour , a premium attraction with the Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass .

Afterwards, grab dinner and drinks at Señor Frogs.

Spend your last day taking an adventure to one of the nearby national parks. I recommend this full-day bus tour to the Grand Canyon West Rim and Hoover Dam .

Once you get back to Sin City, you can eat something and get refreshed before taking in a Las Vegas show .

The best time to visit Las Vegas depends on what you’d like to see and do in Sin City. Thanks to its pleasant weather year-round, there isn’t necessarily a bad time to visit, but there are times when it’s more crowded and expensive.

What is the best month to go to Las Vegas?

  • Best months for good weather:  March and September boast beautiful weather, so you’ll be able to maximize your outdoor time.
  • Cheapest month to visit: January is one of the best times to book a Vegas hotel since prices usually drop after the holidays.
  • Worst time to visit: Christmastime in Las Vegas is busy, but also very beautiful. Also, July and August are super hot and tend to be more crowded .

Now that you know the cheapest time to go to Las Vegas , see if you can save even more by booking a flight with Kiwi or Skyscanner . These sites will help you find the cheapest trips to Vegas across all airlines, as well as the best travel dates for maximum savings.

  • Save money on accommodations by booking a cheap Las Vegas hotel or a Vegas hotel with no resort fees .
  • Consider purchasing a Las Vegas citypass , and don’t forget to take advantage of all the free things to do in Vegas .

10. Download a tourist map of Las Vegas

Finally, keep a map of Las Vegas on hand so you can find all the things you want to see. This way, you can plan a route around those attractions, which will make traveling in Vegas a lot easier.

Other travel tips for Las Vegas

Here are some final tips to keep in mind while you’re doing your trip planning for Las Vegas :

  • It’s hard to see all of Las Vegas in a day, but if you’re short on time, 2 days is enough. Ideally, I recommend a 3-day itinerary for Las Vegas so you can see all the top attractions.
  • I recommend getting the Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass (the best CityPass in Las Vegas ) if you plan on staying in the city for a few days and you want to take advantage of all there is to see and do.
  • This sightseeing city tour on the hop-on/hop-off bus is a great way to get around and see several popular attractions.
  • Remember to always have a map on hand when you plan your trip so you can find the best things to do in Las Vegas and plan out a route that allows you to make the most of your stay.
  • Plan ahead and reserve your rental car in Las Vegas in advance. We use DiscoverCars for the cheapest options.
  • You can legally refuse to pay resort fees since they violate the Deceptive Trade Practices Law in Nevada. If you don’t want to deal with this, book a room at one of the Las Vegas hotels without resort fees .

Weekend Getaway: How To Spend 3 Days in Las Vegas in 2024

Jessica Nemire Last Updated: September 26, 2023

Everyone knows that there are endless things to do in Las Vegas on any given weekend. However, with so many things to do, it can be hard to pack them all into two or three days. That’s where we come in. Read on for our recommendations for a weekend getaway to Las Vegas!

Pro Tip:  It’s easier to organize your trip when you have all your resources in one place. Bookmark this post along with our  guide to Las Vegas  for more planning resources, our  best Las Vegas tours  for a memorable trip, and exciting day trips from Vegas .

Your 3-Day Itinerary for Vegas: Tips, Getting Around, and What to Do

Las Vegas is a unique destination, to say the least. For starters, it’s in the middle of a desert, so the summer months can get extremely hot. We’re talking 120 degrees Fahrenheit (that’s 48 degrees Celsius)! Similarly, it can get down to 30 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter.

Make sure to pack your clothing accordingly! If you’re here in the summer, you’ll want shorts, T-shirts, and swimming suits for those epic pools we have here. Also, remember to drink lots of water and stay hydrated! If you are here in the winter, make sure you pack a warm jacket as the desert chill might surprise you! No matter what time of the year you’ll be visiting Vegas, it’s important to bring comfortable shoes to walk in. The Strip is deceivingly long. We know it looks like you can walk the whole thing in a short period of time, but the Strip’s stairs, bridges, crowds, and summer heat make it take much longer.

In addition to comfy shoes, you’ll want some nice clothes if you are planning on going to a Las Vegas nightclub or eating at a nice restaurant. Most nightclubs have a dress code, so you’ll need dresses and heels for women, and button-down shirts and nice pants for men!

Not ready to book a tour? Read more in our Las Vegas Guide .

Getting Around Vegas:

Daunted by the idea of walking on the Strip in the heat (and/or in your heels)? No worries! The Deuce is a double-decker bus that takes people up and down the Strip at all hours of the day and night. According to its website, the Deuce costs $6 for a 2-hour pass and $8 for a 24-hour pass. What’s more, many hotels near the Strip have a complimentary shuttle service to and from the Strip.

You can also take a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to different hotels along the Strip. Please note that you can only get a rideshare service on the Strip specifically at a hotel, and each hotel has a designated pickup and drop-off point. In addition, the Strip is blocked off to cars on big days such as New Year’s Eve. Keep this in mind if you will be in town during a special event! One thing is for sure: Las Vegas is an experience like no other. Without further ado, here’s our ideal Las Vegas itinerary to help you have the best weekend possible in this iconic city.

Vegas Itinerary: Day One

tour a las vegas

We’ll assume you’re on the plane heading to Sin City. Have a good flight!

Drop your bags off at your hotel, and then find a tasty bite to eat . We like Mon Ami Gabi inside the Paris Las Vegas. If you time it correctly, you can watch the spectacular Bellagio fountain show across the street as you dine! The fountain show starts every day at 3 pm and runs until midnight.

If there’s still time in your afternoon, definitely find an epic Vegas pool to spend a lazy afternoon. Your hotel might have a great option, otherwise Mandalay Bay, the Bellagio, and the Mirage also have cool pools.

As you know, Las Vegas is famous for its shows . What better way to end your first day in Vegas than catching an amazing show? We recommend one of the five different Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas.

If you don’t know what Cirque du Soleil is, these stunning shows feature mind-bending acrobatic feats with lights and music unlike any you have seen before! Alternatively, we also love the Blue Man Group for music and shenanigans by a group of men painted entirely blue. It’s highly entertaining for adults and kids alike. Not in the mood for a show? Go to a Vegas nightclub instead! If you’re here in the summer, we suggest a “night swim” at EBC At Night inside the Encore Hotel. If you’d rather skip the pool club but still want to go dancing, we also love OMNIA inside Caesar’s Palace!

Would you prefer to enjoy some drinks at a cool spot without the nightclub environment? If so, you can’t go wrong with the amazing views at the Foundation Room on the 63rd floor of Mandalay Bay.

Places to eat (lunch or dinner):

  • Yardbird Table & Bar (inside the Venetian)
  • Joel Robuchon (inside the MGM Grand, dinner only)
  • Nacho Daddy (inside Planet Hollywood)
  • House of Blues Las Vegas (inside Mandalay Bay)

Vegas Itinerary: Day Two

tour a las vegas

After grabbing coffee and a bite to eat at your hotel, pay a visit to one of the world’s greatest engineering feats! Take a tour of the Hoover Dam and learn all about this historic site. What’s more, you’ll take some epic photo stops along the way (think: Seven Magic Mountains).

The tour picks you up from your hotel, so you won’t have to figure out how to get there yourself. You can either take an early-morning or midday tour in case you stayed out late the night before! Regardless of which time slot you choose, the tour only lasts 4 hours. This means you’ll still time to enjoy a fun activity when you return! Remember to bring snacks, as well as a tip for your driver!

If a Hoover Dam tour isn’t your jam (see what we did there?), then head to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at the Luxor to see what’s possibly the best museum of artifacts from that tragic event. Alternatively, you can chill at Mandalay Bay Beach inside of Mandalay Bay! This is an epic pool with sandy beaches, a huge wade-in tidal pool, and a lazy river! We’ve also put a few other top tour recommendations later on in this article in case something else catches your eye.

Not ready to book a tour? Find out if a Hoover Dam tour is worth it .

If you don’t opt for the afternoon tour of the Hoover Dam, then your afternoon is free to explore. We suggest checking out the Venetian shops! While you’re there, you can ride on the gondolas that will help you feel like you’re actually in Venice, Italy. (The stunning sky murals also help!) If you have a need for speed, head to the STRAT for one of their most thrilling rides . If none of that sounds appealing, you can instead check out the Coca-Cola Store. With their  “Around the World” Coca-Cola tasting tray, you can sample Cola from all over the globe. The Russian cucumber soda is a customer favorite. We also suggest stopping by the Flamingo Hotel to explore their flamingo habitat that also has turtles and ducks. Best of all, entry is free!

At the end of your full day in Vegas, there’s one thing you really should do. Treat yourself to a famous Las Vegas buffet ! Perhaps the most famous is the decadent Bacchanal Buffet in Caesar’s Palace. With nine kitchens and pool views, you can’t go wrong. We also recommend the Garden Buffet at South Point Hotel. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the south end of the Strip, but the affordability and the wide variety of cuisines make this one of the best buffets in Vegas! If you’re not a buffet person, we suggest instead grabbing a quick bite to eat near your hotel and then taking a ride on the High Roller Ferris Wheel ! This awesome Ferris wheel takes you 550 feet into the air, where you can gaze down at the city lights below. The High Roller is inside the LINQ, so when you’re done, you can eat dinner nearby!

Places to eat:

  • Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen (inside the LINQ)
  • Jaburritos Sushi Burritos (inside the LINQ)
  • BLACKOUT Dining in the Dark (slightly off-Strip, dinner only)
  • Off The Strip (inside the LINQ)

Vegas Itinerary: Day Three

tour a las vegas

Check out of your room, and then indulge in enormous pancakes at Hash House A Go Go at the LINQ Hotel. If your flight is in the afternoon, you probably have time to squeeze in one last Bellagio fountain show before departing. Alternatively, you could also go to the Cosmopolitan to see a stunning, three-tiered chandelier bar.

And if you still haven’t had your fill of shopping, then head to the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. However, if your flight is in the evening, there’s even more you could explore.

One activity we definitely recommend is to treat yourself to a spa day at award-winning spas at the Encore hotel, ARIA, or Wynn Las Vegas. Any of these hotel spas will provide you with a luxurious afternoon to wind down from the weekend. Not much of a spa person? Skip the spa day and instead spend a few hours exploring downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street ! Visit the interactive Mob Museum that’s full of interesting exhibits about the wild and often-sinister history of Vegas. And have we mentioned their epic zipline? It’s worth a try!

Alternatively, check out our favorite outdoor museum , the Neon Museum! This museum is full of vintage Vegas signs. They don’t let individuals explore the museum on their own, so you’ll have to book a tour in advance.

  • Hash House A Go Go at The LINQ
  • Terrace Pointe Café (inside the Wynn)
  • Sadelle’s Café (inside the Bellagio)
  • Esther’s Kitchen (in the Arts district by the Mob Museum)
  • Eureka! Discover American Craft (on Fremont Street downtown)

National Parks Winter Tour

This trip is so beautiful. I went on this winter trip, hoping to see some snow. But, the weather was just too beautiful to have snow. We saw so many things in a short amount of time, but it was enough to get a taste of the area and do some hiking and exploring in each of the places we visited. Joel did an awesome job driving us to everywhere, giving us historical information, and making sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. There were plenty of stops along the drive and plenty of good food options. Their pre-trip communication is great. I am definitely doing more tours with Bindlestiff.

Like many other businesses, they are having some staffing issues. This business was particularly affected by the pandemic as nobody traveled for a year and they had to lay off some people. We had some trouble getting through to them on occasion, but when the time came, they knocked it out of the park. It was a great trip from the beginning to the end. Their Nat Geo tours are a little bit higher end and, in my opinion, worth the money. We had enough time at multiple different locations to go on a very lengthy hikes. That was very nice because sometimes tours over program and you can only get as much accomplished as the slowest person on the tour. The portions of the tour that we did as a group were perfect. Coupled with the adequate time that we had to do our own thing, it made for a wonderful trip. We saw Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon, the Grand Canyon and did some really cool smaller stops along the way. In each of the parks, we had six or seven hours to accomplish some major hikes. Nice hotels, great recommendations for dinners, wonderful people in our group and our tour guide (Megan) was fantastic. We went out to dinner with the group several nights and it was very pleasant. Some nights we did our own thing. Small groups no larger than 15. We had 13 people total. We brought our 13 and 15-year-old boys and they had a great time as well. I highly recommend.

What people love about Fully Guided Tours from Las Vegas

Kaitlyn took such great care of us! We saw much more of Death Valley than we could've in a day trip on our own. This was absolutely worth the price to sit back, enjoy the drive, and have everything taken care of. We'll definitely use this company again, next time for a longer trip.
Amazing tour I did the tour end of March amazing trip. A little colder than I expected but I still had an awesome and fabulous time. I regretted I did not take the helicopter tour for the Grand canyon. Zion is also beautiful do anticipate the shuttle bus ride that theres a lot people and could take you up more time as theres very long line up. Antelope canyon was my highlight for this tour its incredibly beautiful. Take the Navajo guided tour- you won't regret it. Hogan was very patient with us and very informative. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience - efficient use of time, great itinerary. Well-informed and interesting guide who is also just a great person.

29 Essential Things to Do in Las Vegas (+ Easy Day Trips)

Walk the Strip Walk the Strip free

Once you pass the famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign along Las Vegas Boulevard South, it won't be too long until you're cruising the Strip. Sin City's notorious artery acts as the epicenter of any Vegas getaway. Here, you'll find Las Vegas' most iconic landmarks , including the  Bellagio Fountains , the Eiffel Tower at Paris, Las Vegas , the pyramid and sphinx belonging to The Luxor , and  The Venetian's Grand Canal .

The "Strip" technically runs from Mandalay Bay on the south end (home to an aquarium and a human-made beach) to the STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod casino on the north end, where you'll find the tallest free-standing observation tower in the country (this is where you'll go for the perfect Vegas photo).

Visit the Sphere Visit the Sphere

When construction on the MSG Sphere first began in 2019, the addition of yet another "world's largest" was met with a shrug. Las Vegas' skyline was already crammed with record-breaking, jaw-dropping attractions. Did the city really need one more? But when the Sphere's exterior LED screen switched on for the first time in 2023, suddenly this golf ball-shaped music and entertainment arena was all anyone could talk about. People crowded onto resort parking lot rooftops to watch as the largest spherical building on the planet transformed into a giant blinking eye, a swirling snow globe or a Space Age metallic orb.

At 366 feet tall, the Sphere is massive – taller than the Statue of Liberty. And the entire exterior of the building is cloaked in 1.2 million LED lights, which has the effect of transforming the Sphere into an almost lifelike replica of whatever images the screen projects. Visitors describe the Sphere as futuristic and otherworldly; like a piece of alien tech transported from another galaxy.

Bellagio Casino and Fountains Bellagio Casino and Fountains free

This Strip staple offers plenty of ways to lay your money on the line, from table games and slot machines to a race and sports book. This is also the choice casino among many high rollers due to its high-stakes tables. What's more, this casino hosts the World Poker Tour, among other tournaments. But there's more to the Bellagio than the casino floor.

Even those who don't gamble praise the Bellagio for its upscale atmosphere and variety of amenities and attractions. Anyone who's seen a movie set in Vegas will recognize the Bellagio's massive fountains: Every 15 to 30 minutes, those walking past the exterior of the Bellagio are treated to a complimentary light and water show with the fountain's jets shooting water into the air during intricately choreographed "dances" set to music.

Las Vegas knows how to go big – especially when it comes to entertainment . So, it should come as no surprise that a performance company like Cirque du Soleil thrives here. Translating to "Circus of the Sun," Cirque du Soleil is known for its incredible acrobatic feats, which are performed with an unrivaled level of artistry. There are six different Cirque shows in Las Vegas, all of which are performed at different casinos along the Strip .

The "LOVE" show (performed at The Mirage) pays tribute to the legendary rock band with aerial acrobatics, trampoline and roller skate acts.

Why spend the money to cross the Atlantic when you can get a taste of Italy right in Vegas? Nestled along the Strip , The Venetian replicates the highlights of Venice , complete with gondola rides along the Grand Canal . Visitors can get a taste of what life is like in the Queen of the Adriatic thanks to The Venetian's Streetmosphere program: singers, stilt walkers and "living statues" recreate the typical scene you'd likely encounter in the real Venice for those who opt to spend the day perusing the wares in the Grand Canal Shoppes.

For $34 per person ($39 Thursday through Monday), you can take a gondola ride along the property's Grand Canal (inside or outside) anytime between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday; on Friday and Saturday, gondola rides are offered until midnight.

A staple of the Vegas Strip , Caesars Palace started welcoming visitors to Sin City beginning in the 1960s. Since then, it has made an appearance in such popular films as "Rain Man," "Iron Man" and "The Hangover." Those who choose to gamble at Caesars will find themselves in ancient Rome , with massive columns and frescoes paying tribute to the casino's namesake. Those who prefer to use their money in other ways can make their way to The Forum Shops – home to about 160 specialty stores and restaurants, including Tom Ford and Saint Laurent, as well as more affordable outlets like H&M and Nike.

Caesars Palace is also home to a variety of nightlife venues, including the 75,000-square-foot Omnia Nightclub and the trendy Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, a favorite among fans of the "Vanderpump Rules" reality television series. The Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino, known simply as "The Cosmo" by locals, is the hip, glitzy place to go to see and be seen. Although the 3,000-plus room casino no longer holds the title of the "newest casino on the Strip ," it has remained trendy since it opened in 2010, thanks to its thriving dining and nightlife scene.

Known for both its in-your-face opulence and its hidden, "underground" entertainment, the Cosmo is a modern, high-end alternative to some of the Strip's over-the-top themed resorts. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Located about 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip , the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers travelers a respite from downtown Las Vegas' unnatural neon landscape. Though you can opt to follow the 13-mile scenic car route through the desert, make the most of your visit by stretching your legs along the numerous hiking and biking trails that dot the one-way route. No matter how you choose to explore the 195,819-acre area, you'll find yourself surrounded by the beautiful Mojave Desert and its signature red hills.

According to previous Red Rock Canyon visitors, a trip here is well worth leaving the casino floor behind. Recent travelers recommended getting out of your car to explore, but suggest you plan hikes or biking excursions during the cooler mornings rather than the sweltering afternoons. Reviewers also say the road is well-maintained and appreciate the abundance of restrooms along the way. Travelers also suggest stopping by the visitor center to peruse the informative exhibits.

New York-New York and the Big Apple Coaster New York-New York and the Big Apple Coaster free

You won't have any trouble finding New York-New York: Its faux-Manhattan skyline – complete with scale models of famous Big Apple attractions like the Statue of Liberty , the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge – occupies almost a full block of the Strip . Sitting across the street from the MGM Grand , New York-New York recreates the Gotham experience in true Vegas fashion, boasting a New York-style pizzeria, several casual pubs and a variety of souvenir and specialty shops.

If you’re visiting Las Vegas with kids , you’ll find a variety of family-friendly attractions here, including Hershey's Chocolate World, which offers more than 800 kinds of Hershey's chocolates and candies, and features a nearly 800-pound Statue of Liberty sculpture composed almost entirely of chocolate. In addition to an arcade, the property is also famous for its Big Apple Coaster. Traveling at speeds up to 67 mph, the roller coaster weaves through the faux Manhattan skyline, offering riders excellent views of the southern Strip – if they can keep their eyes open. Tickets start at $25 per person for one ride. Note: Riders must be at least 54 inches tall to ride. The coaster welcomes riders from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. until midnight Friday through Sunday.

Paris, Las Vegas and the Eiffel Tower Experience Paris, Las Vegas and the Eiffel Tower Experience free

Though it may not be quite as timeless as the actual City of Lights , Sin City's (rather kitschy) take on Paris is one of the Strip's most popular occupants. The property offers a whirlwind tour of the French capital's most iconic sights: You'll find a replica of the Arc de Triomphe, architecture reminiscent of the Paris Opera and the Louvre, and the pièce de résistance – a 46-story, half-size replica of the Eiffel Tower. Tickets to the tower's observation deck cost $25 for adults and $19 for kids ages 4 to 12. Similar to the real tower in Paris, the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower stages a free recurring light show every 30 minutes from sunset to midnight daily. For a unique view of the tower, reserve a lounge chair by the property’s pool, which is located on the rooftop directly under the Eiffel Tower replica.

As far as the casino goes, you'll find slots, table games, horse racing and Keno – with which travelers were more than satisfied. Paris, Las Vegas boasts several French-themed restaurants,  bars and shops, plus a variety of shows, not to mention the swanky Chateau Nightclub and Rooftop.

Hoover Dam Hoover Dam

Sitting about 35 miles southeast of Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam spans the Colorado River and the Black Canyon (which separates Nevada and Arizona). The immense concrete structure – which confines Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States by volume – has helped provide power to Nevada, Arizona and California since 1935. These days, in addition to keeping the lights on, the Hoover Dam welcomes more than 7 million visitors each year as one of America's most recognized landmarks. Some of its most noteworthy sights are as follows:

Visitor Center:  You can learn more about the Hoover Dam with a stop at the Visitor Center, which is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs $10 to explore. The facility's Exhibit Gallery features various audio, visual and interactive exhibits, such as a generator model you can walk through, while the theater shows a 10-minute film about the dam. Don't forget to head to the top-floor observation area to snap some memorable pictures of the massive structure, Lake Mead and the Colorado River, as most visitors recommend doing.

Like many of Sin City's attractions, Area15 is hard to describe. Marketed on its website as an "immersive entertainment district," the 200,000-square-foot warehouse features a psychedelic smorgasbord of unique experiences, including cinematic immersions, interactive art exhibits, virtual reality arcades, zip lines, axe-throwing and several one-of-a-kind bars and restaurants.

Area15 has earned comparisons to Burning Man and "Alice in Wonderland," thanks to the art installations that tower outside and the mind-bending exhibits inside. Two of the most popular attractions are the immersive art experience, Meow Wolf's Omega Mart, and the rum-fueled immersive Cirque show "Lost Spirits Distillery."

The Mob Museum The Mob Museum

U.S. News Insider Tip: One of my favorite places to watch live jazz and blues is at the Mob Museum's basement-level speakeasy, The Underground. The cozy lounge has delicious cocktails and free admission if you know the secret password (hint: check Instagram). – Reannon Muth

Back in the day, not even Vegas' neon lights could distract Americans from Sin City's darker side; today, The Mob Museum sheds light on the city's pervasiveness in the 20th-century gangster era. Las Vegas' former federal courthouse – located in the downtown area a few blocks northeast of the Fremont Street Experience  – now houses distinct interactive exhibits devoted to exposing America's mob history.

Circa Resort & Casino Circa Resort & Casino free

When Circa Resort & Casino held its grand opening in 2020, it was the first new casino to open in downtown Las Vegas in more than 40 years. The chic, 35-story-tall addition to this old Las Vegas neighborhood has all the modern features of a 21st-century casino, including a high-tech parking garage named the Garage Mahal and a three-story-tall sportsbook (the world's largest). But the adults-only casino also has a distinctly vintage Vegas vibe, too. Circa's interior features midcentury lighting and accents, globe chandeliers and the iconic "Vegas Vickie," a giant neon cowgirl that hovers over the casino lobby.

The most talked-about attraction among recent visitors at Circa, however, is Stadium Swim, a mashup of a concert stadium and a swimming pool amphitheater. Guests can lounge in one of six pools while they catch a sports game or concert on the 40-foot screen above. The pool is heated and remains open year-round, which makes it a popular lounge spot on desert spring days.

Downtown Container Park Downtown Container Park free

U.S. News Insider Tip: If you like the artsy vibe of Container Park, then you'll love the nearby Arts District – a hip downtown neighborhood filled with quirky bars, eclectic restaurants and funky murals. Eat at Esther's Kitchen and grab a drink at ReBAR. – Reannon Muth

The Downtown Container Park's premise is an interesting one: An open-air dining and shopping plaza made entirely from repurposed shipping containers. The 1.1-acre venue is also home to a sprawling treehouse and interactive play area and a 40-foot-tall praying mantis sculpture that shoots real flames from its antennae.

SlotZilla Zipline SlotZilla Zipline

Part of the Fremont Street Experience , SlotZilla is modeled after a giant slot machine, complete with Las Vegas icons like oversized dice and a martini glass. At 11 stories tall, SlotZilla is billed as the world’s largest slot machine and as a zip line offers riders two options: On the lower line, Zip-Zilla, participants ride in a seated position, zipping along at 77 feet in the air. The line travels about halfway through the Fremont Street Experience. The higher zip line, known as Super-Hero Zoom, rises 114 feet high. Patrons ride “superhero-style” (with their bodies parallel to the ground) to the other end of the street and are dropped off at the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. Guests should allot one hour for the entire experience, even though the rides are 30 seconds and one minute, respectively. In addition to a weight check and harness fitting, you’ll have to go through a brief safety training.

Recent travelers found the higher “Super-Hero Zoom” zip line thrilling and enjoyed the views from up above, especially at night. However, there were mixed reviews about the check-in process, and some warned that you’ll have to climb a lot of steps to get to the top of the launching platform.

SPEEDVEGAS SPEEDVEGAS

Not all thrill-seekers are satisfied with laying their cards out on the table. When Lady Luck can't get your adrenaline pumping, an exotic driving experience sure will. Headquartered about 15 minutes south of the Strip , SPEEDVEGAS puts those feeling the need for speed behind some of the world's fastest, most luxurious cars. From exotic Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Aston Martins to speedy Corvettes and Camaros, you'll have your pick of horsepower.

This experience isn't for everyone: Drivers must be at least 18 years old. The chance to sit in the driver's seat is anything but affordable, with driving experiences starting at approximately $250 for five laps. However, those who have put the pedal to the metal on a SPEEDVEGAS experience can't stop raving about it, praising the accommodating and safety-conscious staff.

Springs Preserve Springs Preserve

If you're looking for a kid-friendly activity away from the Strip , or just need a breath of fresh air, consider a visit to the Springs Preserve and Origen Museum. There's something of interest for almost everyone at this 180-acre cultural institution, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The preserve is located at the original water source for the valley, and is commonly known as the "birthplace of Las Vegas." It's a place meant to commemorate Las Vegas' history and boasts museums, galleries, a botanical garden, a butterfly habitat and an interpretive trail system. Meanwhile, the Origen Museum features more than 75 permanent exhibits, an indoor theater and a traveling exhibit space.

Recent visitors raved about the family-friendly atmosphere here, but even those without kids in tow love the history and the botanical garden. Reviewers called the grounds “peaceful” and said Springs Preserve provides a fun day away from the Strip.

Mandalay Bay Casino, Aquarium and Beach Mandalay Bay Casino, Aquarium and Beach free

Sure, this towering gold building at the southern end of the Strip boasts all the slots, poker and game tables you want in a Sin City venue, not to mention a variety of restaurants and nightlife venues. (Plus, it's home to the House of Blues Music Hall and plays host to "Michael Jackson ONE," Cirque du Soleil 's tribute to the 80s pop icon.) But Mandalay Bay doesn't exude the same level of kitsch found at other casinos along Las Vegas Boulevard – a major selling point for more laid-back travelers. In fact, this is the place you go if you're looking for an escape, according to reviewers.

One of the major highlights of Mandalay Bay is its 11-acre “aquatic playground,” which features a human-made beach, a lazy river and a wave pool that creates an oceanside atmosphere in the middle of the Nevada desert. You can kick off your shoes and work on your tan in one of the rentable cabanas or gazebos; those looking to avoid bikini tan lines can ditch the top at the Moorea Beach Club. Note that unless you're a guest at the Mandalay Bay or the Delano Las Vegas, you will have to rent a cabana to access the pool and beach areas – prices vary by day and occupancy levels.

Luxor Casino Luxor Casino free

As you make your way down the Strip , you can't miss the 30-story pyramid that is home to the Luxor Hotel & Casino. You can try your luck at more than 1,100 slot, video poker and multi-game machines, or play one of dozens of table games on the 120,000-square-foot floor. There's also a large sportsbook area, with plasma TVs and individual seats with monitors. If you're a high roller, there's a private section for you, too, with a comfortable lounge and cocktail bar.

In addition to the gaming floor, the casino also offers a variety of nightly entertainment options and attractions like the Blue Man Group, as well as several museum exhibits, such as one devoted to Titanic artifacts. For many travelers, “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” was a highlight of their visit to Luxor. In addition to featuring more than 250 artifacts recovered from the ship, the exhibition displays recreated rooms, including the ornate Grand Staircase. What's more, Luxor touts one of the largest pool decks in Vegas, offering 125,650 square feet of space. As with other hotels on the Strip, Luxor also offers a variety of nightlife venues and restaurants.

MGM Grand Casino MGM Grand Casino free

It only makes sense that a city devoted to entertainment would feature a casino hotel devoted to the entertainment industry. The casino – which sits mid-Strip across from New York-New York at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue – hosts a variety of performances ranging from big-name concerts to sporting events to Cirque du Soleil 's "KÀ." It is also the partner to the nearby T-Mobile Arena, which hosts large-scale events, such as the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The MGM Grand is also home to several top-notch restaurants and nightlife venues, such as Hakkasan nightclub, where celebrity DJs regularly spin hits into the wee hours. During the day, you can stop by Wet Republic Ultra Pool, where you can dance, swim or relax in party cabanas. Several shops can be found here as well, but you'll likely spend most of your time (and your money) on the casino floor, which houses poker tables, slot machines and a race and sports book. Keep in mind: The property spans more than 6 acres, so you’ll likely be doing a lot of walking during your visit (comfortable shoes are a must). Travelers were impressed by the size of the MGM Grand Casino, but said the nightlife options are the real star of the property.

Take a day trip to the Grand Canyon Take a day trip to the Grand Canyon

If you’re in need of a retreat into nature during your Las Vegas vacation, consider planning a day trip to the Grand Canyon. The national park’s popular South Rim is located about 280 miles (around 4.5 hours) southeast of the Strip. If you don't have your own set of wheels, opt for one of the Best Grand Canyon Bus Tours From Las Vegas . For a shorter time commitment, there’s also the Best Grand Canyon Helicopter Tours , some of which include a landing on the canyon floor.

If you don’t want to devote a whole day to the national park, you can drive about 130 miles, or around two hours, to visit Grand Canyon West . Owned and operated by the Hualapai Indian Reservation, Grand Canyon West is not part of the national park, but it does offer its own attractions, including the popular Grand Canyon Skywalk. The Adventuredome at Circus Circus The Adventuredome at Circus Circus

In a city that boasts every type of attraction imaginable, it’s no surprise to find an indoor amusement park. Located on the Strip , the 5-acre Adventuredome at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino offers rides and entertainment for all ages. There are 25 rides and attractions, including roller coasters, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a carousel, a video game arcade and a rock clubbing wall, all housed under a large glass dome. The complex also includes free clown shows, virtual reality rooms and the FX Theater, which screens family-friendly films in 4D.

Recent visitors appreciated the climate-controlled indoor environment, but warn that the Adventuredome is better suited to younger children (ages 12 and younger) than adults due to the nature of its rides and attractions. (It's considered one of the top things to do in Las Vegas with kids .) Reviewers complained about the price of the admission passes: All-day tickets for those 48 inches and taller are $60; for those shorter than 48 inches, all-day tickets cost $30.

Las Vegas Resident Danielle Kang Cards 67 to Kick Off Week at T-Mobile Match Play

Danielle Kang

Las Vegas resident Danielle Kang kicked off her week at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards with a 5-under 67 on Wednesday, making one bogey and six birdies in the first round to sit in the mix early at Shadow Creek.

Kang started sluggishly, making bogey on her first hole of the round, but she recovered quickly with a birdie on No. 11 to erase her early mistake. The six-time LPGA Tour winner then got on the par train from holes 11 to 17 before finally breaking through once again with a birdie on the par-5 18th hole to turn in 1-under.

Kang parred holes one and two before picking up a pair of back-to-back birdies on the par-4 3rd and par-5 4th holes, ultimately snagging two more birdies on Nos. 7 and 9 to post a 67, her lowest round of the 2024 LPGA Tour season and her first round of 67 or better on Tour since day three of the 2023 CME Group Tour Championship.

“I played well. I had some really good putts. I executed really good shots, prepared well,” said Kang, who hit 13 of 14 fairways and 14 of 18 greens. “I get to be home this week, so I'm really happy to be here. It was actually my second week at home, so I'm really excited about that. Just seeing familiar faces and having my family and friends come out is really fun.”

The 31-year-old has had a leg up on the rest of the 96-player field this week as Shadow Creek is her home club and a venue with which she’s become increasingly familiar over the years. Sometimes playing at a course that you’re supposed to know like the back of your hand puts a lot of pressure on a player, particularly as the home-field advantage is very much a real thing when it comes to golf.

But Kang is instead feeling incredibly at peace surrounded by her family and friends so far this week and will be looking to ride that good energy all the way to the top eight come the conclusion of Friday play in Las Vegas.

“For me, I'm just really happy to be home,” said Kang. “Traveling is the biggest difficulty that I've been facing, and a lot of people have asked why I haven't played a lot. I'm really happy to be home. No matter what happens, it really doesn't matter. I played a really good round today. I know I got some people excited. There was a huge cheer. As long as I made some people happy today, we're good.”

This week marks Kang’s fifth start of the 2024 season, and she’s working hard to kick things into high gear with the major season looming large as The Chevron Championship is set to begin in just two short weeks. She has missed one cut and earned one top-20 finish in her first four tournaments of the season, tying for 20th at the Honda LPGA Thailand, a slow start that doesn’t seem to be bothering the LPGA Tour veteran too much at this early point in the year.

And while she wants to play well at Shadow Creek, especially with a whole host of people rooting her on, Kang isn’t stressing too much about improving upon her tournament-best result of T5 at the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards. She’s just enjoying the opportunity to hang out with her people and sleep in her own bed this week in Vegas, leaving the golf at the golf course when all is said and done and relishing her time at home.

“Probably nothing since the round is ended,” Kang said in her post-round interview when asked if her closing birdie gives her any momentum. “I have to go work out now. I get to see my trainer, my physio, and I get to go home, plan dinner, go cook, go walk my dog. It is what it is. Whatever happens each round. All I can do is stay in the present and play my game and execute the shots and execute the way I normally do.

“For me, each shot and every hole, every day doesn't really mean as much as it used to. Like who cares? I shot 5-under today, and then end of story, right? Until you get a new story tomorrow. Then you get a new shot tomorrow and then a new play tomorrow.”

Prop Farm: Las Vegas bettors balancing Masters action amid search for Valero value

Golfbet News

Change Text Size

For many, it may feel like the calm before the storm. The Valero Texas Open will be the final test on TOUR before the season's first major championship. It's been roughly nine months since the last major was held and as usual, bettors have been chomping at the bit to get some action down on the Masters.

"I have to say, at this point, the Masters' handle has been quite good. A lot more than the lead-up to last year which is great to see," said Tristan Davis, senior manager at Mandalay Bay Race & Sportsbook. "We have notable Masters liabilities right now on Brooks Koepka and Wyndham Clark."

A trend that Davis pointed out in this column last week is bettors landing on some long shots who fared well the week before: "Once again a player who got close last week at big odds has had good support for this week in San Antonio," Davis explained. "This time it's David Skinns at +17500. Other than that, it has been a pretty quiet week so far. Punters maybe saving their cash for next week."

Thomas Gable, director of race and sports at The Borgata in New Jersey, isn't seeing a great deal of activity this week, either.

"Nothing real notable for the Valero other than in the outright market, where we are seeing a lot of long shots getting bet," said Gable. "As for the Masters, our biggest liability currently is Viktor Hovland at +1800. A little bit on Xander Schauffele and Max Homa, too."

For revered Las Vegas golf oddsmaker Jeff Sherman, there has been no calm before the major storm. "It's not slower this week," Sherman said. "In fact, more handle on the Valero Texas Open than last week already."

Maybe the major championship anticipation has more bettors getting involved ahead of schedule.

Golfbet Roundtable: Who to pick at the Valero Texas Open

"We took some sharp action this week on Matt Fitzpatrick and Billy Horschel to win in Texas," Sherman continued, who has been in the racket of golf odds-making for almost 30 years. "We do have some Masters liability already on Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama and Tiger Woods."

The Valero Texas Open field features 30 players already qualified for next week's trip to Georgia. Those not yet qualified can punch their ticket with a win come Sunday. At Mandalay Bay, Davis is seeing this week's heavy load come in on big names who are already in the field next week.

"Ludvig Åberg is who the punters are honing in on this week," Davis said. "So far he is responsible for 15% of the total hold at +1200 with Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy a distant second and third."

Hall of Fame bookmaker Nick Bogdanovich is taking action on a player still trying to get into the field for the Masters. "They're playing Keith Mitchell to win it this week," Bogdanovich said before noting, "We have liability for next week already on Clark and Sam Burns."

It is a tricky handicap this week with what lies ahead. How do the players already qualified for Augusta treat this week? How will the players not already qualified handle the pressure of trying to earn their way in? Horschel, who has a great track record at TPC San Antonio and has been playing very well as of late, is trying to avoid missing the Masters for the first time since 2017. He is currently 87th in the world rankings. Bogdanovich is seeing bettors back the long-time TOUR veteran to continue his recent push and noted, "They're betting Horschel on the 'yes' to finish top-20 this week."

Ryan Moore has played in 10 Masters, dating back to 2003, but hasn't been back since 2018. He has four top-15 finishes at Augusta and has only missed the cut twice. The 41-year-old finished fifth two weeks ago at the Valspar Championship and was 31st last week in Houston. "Moore is getting action on the 'yes' to make the cut at the Valero," said Bogdanovich.

In the head-to-head matchup market this week, the sharps are getting involved at Mandalay Bay. "There have been some good sharp moves. Max Homa to beat Spieth from +120 to +110, Rickie Fowler to beat Victor Perez from +100 into -110, and Charley Hoffman to beat Jhonattan Vegas from +105 into -110," said Davis.

Bogdanovich pointed out three matchups he has seen take sharp action: "Spieth over Collin Morikawa, Byeong-Hun An over Harris English, and Akshay Bhatia over Maverick McNealy have taken respected money."

Next week's field for the Masters is currently at 88 players. One more could be added depending on this week's results at the Valero Texas Open. Winds anywhere from 10-20 mph or stronger are expected this week in San Antonio. Is that a "calm before the storm?" Here in the Prop Farm, we turn to a quote that seems fitting for what's in store.

“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

– Jimmy Dean

Adele has officially rescheduled a handful of shows she postponed in late February .

On Tuesday, the "Set Fire to the Rain" artist, 35, shared an update on Instagram with new tour dates for her Weekends with Adele residency.

Alongside an image of the tour poster, Adele wrote: "The postponed dates for Weekends With Adele at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace from March have been rescheduled to the below dates later this year. Ticket holders for the postponed dates will be sent an email regarding their new allocated date."

The new shows will now take place Oct. 25, Oct. 26, Nov. 1, Nov. 2, Nov. 8, Nov. 9, Nov. 15, Nov. 16, Nov. 22 and Nov. 23. "All other shows remain unaffected," she added in the caption.

In February, the pop star announced that she was going on vocal rest.

“Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency,” Adele wrote in  a social media post at the time.

“I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break,” she said, adding that she “hadn't quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed.”

Adele then said said that continuing too soon caused her to be “sick again, and unfortunately it's all taken a toll on my voice.”

On doctor's orders, she planned to rest until she received the all-clear.

Five remaining weekends had been affected, and the dates that needed to be rescheduled were March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30.

"I love you, I’ll miss you like mad and I’m sorry for the inconvenience," Adele concluded in the caption.

During one of the singer-songwriter's recent shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, she addressed the crowd and explained her condition.

"In the middle of last night — I'm sure you can hear it in my talking voice and my singing voice a little bit — your girl was tired. I didn't sleep very well... and Ursula from the ocean has come from my chest tonight. I can't hit my headnotes properly. I didn't sleep very well and my chest is on fire..." Adele told the crowd, per the Daily Mail .

The "Hello" artist added, "Straight after this show I am going on voice rest," before apologizing to the crowd.

"Can you imagine how hard now me not talking for three days is?" Adele asked.
