The last few years have been extremely busy for the America’s Got Talent 2015 winner, on both sides of the Atlantic. 2016 saw Zerdin head to The Las Vegas Strip for a headline residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. 2017 and 2018 saw Paul appear on spin-off shows America’s Got Talent - The Champions and Britain’s Got Talent - The Champions. Since then Paul has toured the US and UK with his critically acclaimed ‘All Mouth’ and ‘Puppet Party’ shows.
Zerdin wasn’t available for comment but his character Sam in his absence said: “It’s so exciting to be back on the road in the UK. We’ve played Hollywood, New York, Vegas and now…Bedford! I just hope we can all get through the tour without a big bust up like last time!” Zerdin is arguably the UK’s number one ventriloquist and made his TV debut in 1993 as the host of GMTV’s ‘Rise and Shine’. He then went on to win ITV’s The Big Big Talent Show, hosted by Jonathan Ross. Since then he has appeared on countless TV shows including;
The World Stands Up (Comedy Central)
The Stand Up Show BBC!
Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival
Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford (ITV1)
Tonight at The London Palladium with Bruce Forsyth and Bradley Walsh (ITV1)
Michael McIntyre’s Big Christmas Show (BBC1)
The Royal Variety Performance.
Winning Series 10 of America’s Got Talent in September 2015, Zerdin and his sidekicks soon went viral on YouTube, receiving millions of views from around the world.
Paul has finished touring ‘Paul Zerdin – Hands Free’ in the UK and is looking forward to taking it to the US in 2022. This Christmas sees Paul return to his favourite theatre The London Palladium in his 27th Pantomime Season. Paul is a Gold Star Member of The Inner Magic Circle and lives with his sponge family in South West London.

"I enjoyed Paul Zerdin’s No Strings comedy puppetry show but only just...!" 😂
“Every now and then you stumble across a finished article, a show so polished it shines. Paul Zerdin: Sponge Fest is one of these shows. A ventriloquist at the top of his game, Zerdin is so sure of his skills and so in control of his material that he isn’t just performing – he’s showing off, clearly having as much of a laugh as his audience."
“Paul Zerdin is in a league of his own. That he's the UK’s most accomplished and well-known ventriloquist is beyond doubt. What's most impressive about his latest show is how rich a canvas he creates from his honed skill. You can’t help but to be won over with this set which is not just polished but very well-constructed. What this show does is to invoke a precious, childish sense of joy. The conclusion is pure audience-gratifying magic.”
“With a mix of well written script and improvisation, Zerdin provides a show of non-stop mirth, including the first spate of uncontrollable laughter I’ve experienced this festival. In an explosive opening few minutes, he not only has the audience laughing, clapping and cheering, but he’s also picked his main victim for the night.”
“Just to underline that the big names were not going to have it all their own way, the loudest applause went to Paul Zerdin who is reviving the unfashionable art of ventriloquism”
“Paul Zerdin and his ginger – nut sidekick Sam™ didn’t so much steal the show as pull off the Light Entertainment equivalent of the Brink’s – Mat raid”
“Zerdin confirms my thoughts that if anyone is to take the genre’s recent renaissance a step further it is acts like his. Simply put, Zerdin is the man who can make ventriloquism look cool.”
“Yes, ventriloquists can be funny too. Zerdin’s puppets are sharp – tongued, malicious little bastards. Avoid the front row, especially if you’re ugly”
“It is almost inevitable that the telegenic Paul Zerdin will soon be coming at ya from the box in the corner, he is so fast you will believe you hear him and the dummy speak simultaneously”
“The one time magician has the pop star looks to attract a whole new audience to the much maligned speciality of ventriloquism”
“If you think the words ‘brilliant’ and ‘ventriloquist’ have no place in the same sentence, go and see Paul Zerdin for some brutal re-education”
“Zerdin is the one who can make it look cool, leaving many of his contemporaries in the genre behind.”
“Zerdin has a sense of comic timing that other comedians should take note of, and an amazing skill which seperates him from others. When you are not laughing you are simply in awe.”

PAUL ZERDIN ON TOUR:
British comedian and master ventriloquist Paul Zerdin joked his way to a first-place finish on the 2015 season of America’s Got Talent, and now fans can catch his brilliant act in person. Zerdin’s sharp wit and amazing puppetry skills make for a side-splitting show full of wild characters, clever puns, and family-friendly wisecracks appropriate for fans of all ages. Whether he’s bringing hilarious puppets like bratty teen Sam or cranky old-timer Albert to life with his amazing ventriloquism skills, Zerdin does it all with seamless style and effortless ease, never missing a beat as he jumps from character to character. A veteran performer who has even made the Queen of England chuckle, Zerdin is a must-see for anyone who likes a good laugh.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
London-born Paul Zerdin caught the puppetry bug at an early age after being given a book on ventriloquism by legendary British comedian Ray Alan. During his teens he practiced throwing his voice in front of the mirror daily, eventually taking a job at a magic shop with an eye on becoming a children’s entertainer. At age 20 he landed a role as host of the Disney-produced show Rise and Shine, which paved the way for his first-place victory on Season 1 of reality TV competition The Big Big Talent Show. A string of high-profile gigs followed, including a performance for the British royal family. In 2015 he made a splash with stateside audiences as the winner of Season 10 of America’s Got Talent, a major victory that has fans dying to see him and his cast of characters on tour.
Paul was amazing! Incredibly funny!
The Strand Theatre was a great venue for an amazing performer! Paul Zerdin was outstanding!
Fun Night Out
Paul was fantastic, as was the second comedian. We were a little disappointed with Darren McCarty, but we know that comedy is not what made him famous. We really liked The Strand -- first time we have been there. It was very clean, parking was easy and it was nice to have the bar attached. We will definitely look for more events hosted at that venue.
Very funny, talented
The Strand Theatre is great, maybe needs more advertising, Paul Zerdin was a class act but theatre not fully booked
Paul Zerdin is unbelievably talented!!
What a great performer! Paul Zerdin is funny, captivating and charming. You will not be disappointed. A must see!!
Pif was hilarious
Pif was everything I expected and more, the whole family was blown away. Paul overall was good but some of his jokes were dated. Like the hearing aid one, that’s been around for at least 30 years.
Piff was Amazing!!!
I am totally baffled by the tricks that he pulled off. He was defiantly a great performer.
Paul Zerdin and Piff the Dragon were great!
We went to see Paul Zerdin and Piff the Dragon that were on America's Got Talent, and they were really funny. Paul is a very talented ventriloquist, and everyone should have a chance to see him live. I wished it would have last longer.
Lots of Fun!
Both acts were great, enjoyed seeing them in person after watching AGT. We had awesome seats, but the rows were very long making getting in & out difficult.
I Loved the Show with the 2 of them and a few friends....., Lol This was a Great Show, lot's of Fun
Lots of Laughs
Paul Zerdin and Piff the Magic Dragon was fun from start to finish. Haven't laughed that much in a long time. Hope they return to MN in the future, I would love to go and see them again.

The Visual Pulse Of London
Paul zerdin announces new uk tour for 2023.
The winner of America’s Got Talent 2015 Paul Zerdin has announced a new UK tour for 2023. The tour starts on Fri 1st Southend Palace Theatre and culminates with two shows at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on 10th & 11th November.
“I am so excited to be back on the road later this year and I especially can’t wait to introduce you to my new characters which have really unsettled my existing dysfunctional sponge family, and it’s my most personal show yet” PAUL ZERDIN
The last few years have been extremely busy for Paul on both sides of the Atlantic since his 1-million-dollar America’s Got Talent win. He had a headline residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip for 6 months in 2016. In 2017 and 2018 he appeared on spin-off shows ‘America’s Got Talent – The Champions’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent – The Champions’. Since then, Paul has toured the US and UK with his critically acclaimed shows ‘All Mouth’, ‘Puppet Party’ and ‘Hands Free’. The latter has been filmed for a TV release next year.
He is currently starring in the West End’s biggest and best pantomime at the London Palladium – Jack & The Beanstalk which is his 28th panto season! On Christmas Eve he is special guest on ‘The Lost Voice Guy’s Christmas Comedy Club’ on ITV1 at 10.40pm.
Zerdin is arguably the UK’s number one ventriloquist and made his TV debut in 1993 as the host of GMTV’s ‘Rise and Shine’. He then went on to win ITV’s The Big Big Talent Show, hosted by Jonathan Ross. Since then, he has appeared on countless TV shows including The World Stands Up (Comedy Central), The Stand-Up Show BBC1, Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford (ITV1), Tonight at The London Palladium with Bruce Forsyth and Bradley Walsh (ITV1), Michael McIntyre’s Big Christmas Show (BBC1) and three appearances at The Royal Variety Performance. Winning Series 10 of America’s Got Talent in September 2015, Zerdin and his sidekicks soon went viral on YouTube, receiving millions of views from around the world.
Despite being worried due to lack of work, lockdown proved to be one of the most creative periods in his life during which he wrote his last tour show, his latest comedy special and created his own TV show for YouTube called ‘Sponge Weekly’!
During this time, he also became single for the first time in years, which he found a big shock – no job, no partner and the future of live entertainment at that point looked very, very uncertain. However, he got through it with the help of his close friends including Nigel Havers and his lovely wife with nightly Zooms. He joined dating apps, from which he has multiple stories, even dating a famous actress.
He loves travel and has been lucky enough to work all over the world; he even once went on a 30-hour trip to Argentina for a single 15-minute performance, making time for a steak before he came home! Paul is totally obsessed with his job and even works on new ideas and jokes when he is on holiday!
His hobbies include mono skiing and scuba diving! Paul is a Gold Star Member of The Inner Magic Circle and lives with his sponge family and partner, Emma, in Surrey.
The pair got together after reconnecting on Facebook after the second lockdown. At the time she was living abroad, however she came to see him in the UK where they spent quarantine together and then she never left…! They had previously met 16 years ago when they both appeared in a show together.

First refuelling for Russia’s Akademik Lomonosov floating NPP
!{Model.Description}
The FNPP includes two KLT-40S reactor units. In such reactors, nuclear fuel is not replaced in the same way as in standard NPPs – partial replacement of fuel once every 12-18 months. Instead, once every few years the entire reactor core is replaced with and a full load of fresh fuel.
The KLT-40S reactor cores have a number of advantages compared with standard NPPs. For the first time, a cassette core was used, which made it possible to increase the fuel cycle to 3-3.5 years before refuelling, and also reduce by one and a half times the fuel component in the cost of the electricity produced. The operating experience of the FNPP provided the basis for the design of the new series of nuclear icebreaker reactors (series 22220). Currently, three such icebreakers have been launched.
The Akademik Lomonosov was connected to the power grid in December 2019, and put into commercial operation in May 2020.
Electricity generation from the FNPP at the end of 2023 amounted to 194 GWh. The population of Pevek is just over 4,000 people. However, the plant can potentially provide electricity to a city with a population of up to 100,000. The FNPP solved two problems. Firstly, it replaced the retiring capacities of the Bilibino Nuclear Power Plant, which has been operating since 1974, as well as the Chaunskaya Thermal Power Plant, which is more than 70 years old. It also supplies power to the main mining enterprises located in western Chukotka. In September, a 490 km 110 kilovolt power transmission line was put into operation connecting Pevek and Bilibino.
