Here’s 5 things you need to know..

We recommend that you have at least 5 hours in between your flights.

Make sure you have valid travel documents, permits and visas if applicable.

All visitors must pass immigration to exit the transit area before visiting Jewel.

Jewel is conveniently connected to all four terminals (allow sufficient time for travelling between terminals).

If you have limited time and don’t want to exit the transit area, you can see Jewel from the skytrain that runs between T2 and T3.

We paid good money for a tour (BR-1102528623) in an attempt to learn about the culture, people, and history of Singapore. Instead, our driver, Sayed, began the tour by arriving a half hour late to our hotel. Then he only drove us to various spots around the city and dropped us off to explore them on our own. He provided no commentary regarding the culture or history, no instructions as to what to look for, and no information whatsoever about the places. If this was all we wanted to do, we could have taken public transportation, a cab, or gotten an Uber instead of purchasing a Viator tour. Even a hop-on, hop-off bus would have been an improvement over what we received. Sayed appeared disinterested in satisfying his customers, and more intent on getting us out of the vehicle so he could check his cellphone. Maybe Sayed is the owner's son, because he certainly is not a competent tour guide. He also failed to provide us with any water during the hot and humid day. In fact, after flying 17 and 1/2 hours from San Francisco to Singapore, our experience with Sayed was the only disappointment during our entire two-week trip to Southeast Asia. Needless to say, we are none too pleased with this tour and we do not have a favorable recommendation for Sayed or his company. Read more Written March 26, 2024

Huge indoor domes, contains Forrest’s with waterfalls, flower domes and floral fantasy . Outside man made trees , where you can take a trip to the top of the supertree grove and look out . The highlight was the orchid gardens at the Botanic Gardens and a walk around central Singapore showing us things we would undoubtedly have missed. Very professional day.
