Unfortunately I do not live anywhere near Georgia but I have always wanted to travel the world. The day I do decide to travel the world I will be sure to check out this place. It seems like something that is in my alley and something that I will enjoy so thank you for this article. I will be sure to share this article with friends too

Hi Aubin, Thanks for checking in! North Georgia has beautiful natural scenery and lots of fun attractions to explore – ziplining is just one of the fun adventures you can experience during your trip. We hope to see you around soon!

Hi Alyce, you do write some great articles I love it, but I’ve never actually ridden the zipline yet. I’m hoping to ride soon after reading this article about all the great North Georgia places for a zipline adventure or course. I like how you explained everything in detail for someone with no experience, thanks for sharing.

I hope you have a great time on your first zipline ride! That first step off of the zipline platform can be a little intimidating, but as soon as you take that step, all the real fun begins! Enjoy!!

This is amazing just would like to be there and imagine the relaxation that nature offers

Hi Ricardo, This is definitely a fun way to experience nature. Somehow, zipline rides offer an exciting way to relax! 🙂

We are taking a roadtrip in June and will spend some time in Georgia.  These zipline and canopy tours seem a lot less expensive than I would have guessed.  I will look into their location and see if any of them are on our route, because this would be a great way to experience northern GA.  They look like great opportunities for sightseeing!

Hi Max, It’s nice that there are multiple zipline options in North Georgia to choose from. The weather should be perfect in June for a scenic zip through the trees! Enjoy!

I really enjoyed reading this article with the different characteristics about the zipplining adventure potrayed in there. I have had the pleasure to experience the ziplining adventure in my country Saint Lucia. It is located in a community called “Dennry” and it is a place where families or individuals can go to enjoy their time there as well.

The last time I went was with my extended familiy who came down from overseas and boiii was it a blast!

I would reccommend ziplining for anyone who is visiting or persons from the country who would like a change of scenery and are adventurous!

Hi Genille, Thanks for sharing. It’s such a fun experience!!

My first ride on a zipline was while traveling in Costa Rica. It was so nice to get up above the canopy and then descend into the shade of the trees while on the zipline. I’ve been hooked on zipline rides ever since!

This looks like a fabulous vacation. Lots of fun and a new adventure in the Georgia Mountains.

The sights of the mountains being from an exhilarating viewpoint of the ziplines must be great and it sure would be an experience to remember. The price seems reasonable, the ziplines look quite lengthy and so long as health and safety procedure is followed this looks to be a great trip to take.

Hi Mike, These North Georgia ziplines offer a great way to have family fun with a unique mountain experience! Enjoy!

This is amazing. Adventure just would like to be there and imagine the unique relaxation that nature offers

This is a very amazing post you have written here. I really like that kids can also have their own. To be very honest, I’m not sure I’m ready for the adventure but since I’m here already, I think I should get brave and take a zip. I wouldn’t try one over the lake though.  Thanks a lot for the valuable info.

Haha, I do think it takes a special level of thrillseeking to want to zip over a lake! Fortunately, there are plenty of non-lake options for ziplining too!!

This is awesome! I never thought about zip lining before, and I have lived in Georgia my entire life. The most interesting one for me is the Amicalola Zip line. Only because they provide free pictures of your adventure when you send them your email. Other than that, North Georgia Canopy Tours seems like the best bang for your buck. 3 hours of fun that can’t be matched when you are doing nature walks, zip lining over sky bridges, rivers, and rappelling. And it’s all for only 89 dollars! Thanks for this awesome post. Zip lining is definitely on my wish list. Thanks again!

There is definitely a lot of fun to find in the Georgia mountains! You have picked some of the most thrilling activities and I wish you a very fun trip!!

Such and interesting website.  I really like the idea but had a few questions.  How long does a zipline ride take (typically)? Also, Are there weight requirements for larger adults?  I have never been to Georgia or ziplining. It does look fun. Great area coverage of different places you can go.  What a great idea.  All the Best, Krista

Hi Krista, The length of a zipline ride will depend on the length of the cable and a bit on the user… there are a few little adjustments that your guide will point out to help you go faster or slower (depending on your preference). There are weight restrictions that will be specific to each location, but most of the limits seem to top out at around 250 pounds.

Wow, what a beautiful place to spend ones vacation with his family. I love the view of the Unicoi state park, its a very beautiful sight and I’d love to have the experience of it. Later this year I’d love to visit the Georgia mountain. And thanks for the advice on the kind of clothing to bring along when coming for tour.

Hi Dane, you’re most welcome for the sneak peeks and the clothing advice for having a great zipline adventure and trip to the Georgia mountains!

Since I and my family would be going on an adventure very soon because of our vacation. I think its high time to get ziplining off my bucket list and what better place to do that than to explore the home of my wife, Georgia. I have heard a lot concerning the great ziplining canopy tours in the country and I’m definitely going to book one for my family and I. Thanks

I hope you and your wife have a great time exploring Georgia and all the fun things to do and see!

This is amazing! I never would’ve thought that children as young as 4 could have their own Kidzip. What fun! And what a brilliant idea. I certainly never experienced anything like it when I was that young. The only exciting thing I did was when I went to a museum when I was already in school. lol

This will definitely be an experience we’ll be putting in our bucket list. By the way, do you know if any adult goes with the young child? Or do they have to go solo? Just in case my little daredevil gets too scared on the way down (unlikely but you never know).

There is a requirement for the youngest kids to have an adult chaperone nearby for the KidZip, but it does sound like it’s a great opportunity for smaller kids to get it on the ziplining fun!

I have always wanted to zipline. As a matter of fact, it’s one of the items on my bucket list. North Georgia seems like a great place to come and do it. As we are planning a trip next year, maybe that’s where will be headed. I and my two daughters are the adventurous ones in our family, we do the risk-taking things that others in my family are wary of. I can’t wait to get over there and start ziplining

Hi Jagi, That is wonderful to hear! You’ll find a great ziplining option no matter what part of North Georgia you decide to visit… and maybe even a place on site if you decide to stay at Unicoi or Amicalola Falls State Parks! Enjoy your trip!!

I’ve only tried a zipline once but I was quite nervous – the actual thrill is exciting though, zipping through the wind and trees without a care in the world, although the process of getting all the way up to the initial launch station can be nerve-wrecking, haha.

These photos and sites you’ve posted really seem like a must-go-to experience for the thrill enthusiast. And it’s nice to know there’re lost of them all throughout georgia.

Hi Mike, I tend to agree with you… the fun of riding on the zipline is such a great adrenaline rush that there is no room for being anything but thrilled. I have been to zipline tours in other parts of Georgia where I was a tad nervous as I climbed up to the launch point… but I’m happy to report that the anxiety was totally worth it and 10 / 10 will do it again!!  🙂

We arrived in Blue Ridge two hours ahead of our cabin check-in, so we decided to take our children ziplining. The children's course is advertised for ages 6-10 with children between ages 6-7 requiring a parent to go on the course with them at an additional cost of course. I can only imagine the parent is required because the guide spent most of the time on his cell phone while the parents assisted the children. Even when two of the children collided, the parents' reaction time was much quicker than the guides. The children course is a very small circle of five ziplines, with one being so low that my seven year old had to lift her feet so they would not touch the ground. I do not think it was worth not $55 per person. My seven year old daughter had a blast as it was her first course, which is the only reason I am giving a three star rating.

My cousin and I met up in Ellijay, GA for 5 days for some fun after a year of being upended by the pandemic pandemonium. He had never Zipline; I had (or at least I thought I had). Our guides were a joy, and we shared a lot of laughs and encouragement with our group. The canopy was beautiful and the Blue Ridge Mountains did not disappoint. I highly recommend this company to you; they offer one and two hour options.

We did the 2 hour tour. Our guides Sarah and Colton were professional, funny and very customer focused. Our group of 8 had a great time doing the course. One of us even had a minor mishap and Colton came out and fixed the issue calmly and efficiently. Great experience overall. Only complaint is there was no water at any of the stands or towers and going nearly 3 hours in the afternoon heat with no water is challenging. Perhaps they can have bottled water available somewhere on the course.

Did the 2 hour tour and it takes you on 13 zips. Matt and Kyla were very knowledgeable me about each zip (the distance and whether you had to break early or late). It started pouring rain super hard during our time so we were catching very high speeds on the zip lines. Thankfully, there are emergency breaks on each zip for if you can't slow yourself down enough. I definitely recommend, a super fun family activity They take a group photo and pics of each member going down the Zipline that you can purchase at the end!

We had a great time. Booked it about 2 hours before hand. Our guides, Grant and Luke, were great. Informative and safe, but relaxed. We did the 1 hour tour. It was perfect for us.

We did the one hour Zipline with a group of friends. Paul and Lucas were our guides. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them and our experience. They were patient, kind, funny and very very helpful. Many of us were first timers and they went at our pace. By the end we wished that we were signed up for the two hour tour. We all have plans to return and would love to request these two gentlemen. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

Don't make your reservations here! My family got cover 2 days before we were supposed to go zip lining and they would not move the dates or refund me. I should have gone anyway since I was charged for it and not cared if I infected everyone, they didn't care!
