Ideal Day - White Pocket

White Pocket was beautiful and our guide, Orion, was the perfect combination of informative, helpful and entertaining while allowing us to soak in the beauty. From check in to the drive out and back to meandering through White Pocket, everything was well done. Much appreciated.

I did the stay and play package. I really wanted to do the “wave” in the north coyote butte area. I talked with Tom who arranged what is called the conditional wave package. Each day dreamland applied for the wave permits (which are quite hard to get). If I got a spot, I would do a guided trip to the wave, if not, then we would do one of the other guided trips they offer. I got the wave day one and coyote buttes south on day 2. My guide Justin was great. My fellow travelers were joy. I met the owners Paul and Sunny- delightful! The Canyons Boutique hotel was lovely. The dinner, included, at Sego’s was outstanding and the included breakfasts were more than adequate. Overall a lovely experience. I will bring the family back next year for more outdoor fun! I believe having a guide for these trips significantly enhanced the experience.

It was amazing! I'm so happy we decided to get a guide. Dreamland Safari Tours has the best guide Justin. He went above and beyond. He made sure we saw everything we wanted, was very knowledgeable, shared so much about the hike, and was always there with a helping hand! He's so nice too. Mel was fantastic! We we're so excited when we scored a Wave permit, but we didn't want to have FOMO about not seeing as much as possible while we were there and we didn't want to have to worry about navigation or wondering whether we were in the right spot, so that we could just soak in the sights. A nice bonus was Mel was a fantastic photographer too!

Fabulous hiking in Grand Staircase Escalante

It was one of the very best hiking trips I have done. Dreamland Safari Tours provided outstanding service in the planning and guiding of the trip. They listened to our requests and were able to take us to the most amazing sites in Utah. We were so so fortunate to obtain a permit for the Wave and appreciate that their staff secured this for us. Our guide Maddie listened to our preferences and accommodated us so we could experience the very best of this area. She chose a route to allow us to see the top sites with the very best lighting. Won the daily lottery for The Wave and almost declined after reading about the rugged drive in and having to hike 3+ miles in desert and then back out. Booked Dreamland found online and noted 5 star reviews by TA. Our guide Orion was amazing. Drove us in and Hiked us across the most amazing desert in North Coyote Buttes. Pointing out and explaining the geological formations near and far, as well as the flora and life of the desert. We even studied dinosaur prints 100+ millions of years old. Orion expertly guided us to a perfect shade spot in the Wave itself for a long stay to which included spectacular photos and lunch, which he carried in. His knowledge and love of the history and geography made this hike our favorite in our Mighty Five travels. If you are looking for an extraordinary experience, I recommend you call Dreamland Safari Tours.

Went to Peekaboo Slot Canyon and White Waves. Brent was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and made the trip very special. Even the ride back to the Canyon in the sand was fun. South Coyote Buttes was fantastic! Our guide Marjorie was the perfect professional. She anticipated all our needs from hydration and food to pointing out all the very best photo spots. She knew the area very well and we got to see more iconic sites than if I had attempted this trip without a guide. The scenery was nonstop spectacular. There was always something even more beautiful just around the corner. I highly recommend this trip from Dreamland Safari tours. They take care of everything from getting the permits to driving and guiding you through the entire hike.

My wife and I were lucky enough to get a permit to hike coyote buttes south and the whole experience was absolutely incredible! From the customer service, to our very personable and knowledgeable guide, Andrea, to the stunning views with breathtaking photo opportunities, Andrea knew exactly where all the good spots were!
