Once you set sail, you will start an unforgettable journey through the most enchanting places of Lake Como . Admire renowned attractions such as Villa Carlotta , with its botanical gardens, and Villa del Balbianello , immortalized in Star Wars and Casino Royale . The tour continues with picturesque historical residences like Villa La Cassinella and Villa Balbiano , featured in the film House of Gucci . Finally, discover Isola Comacina and admire Villa Melzi , surrounded by beautiful gardens.

NB: The tour departs from Bellagio and, before starting the tour of Lake Como, makes a stop in Tremezzo to board new passengers. Each client’s departure point and arrival point must be the same, so those who get on at Bellagio do not have the option of getting off at Tremezzo and vice versa.

Tickets can only be purchased online and full prepayment is required. Cash payments are not accepted.

When boarding, it is necessary to provide the voucher, with QR code, received at the end of the booking process (either mobile device or paper are fine). Only the voucher allows you to get on board.

CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION

Bookings are not refundable in case of cancellation or change. If the customer requests cancellation, the amount paid will be totally lost. Once the booking is proccessed, the selected departure time cannot be amended.

The captain follows the departure time. Rospo SRL is not responsible for any delays of passengers who do not show up at the boarding time.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

In case of weather conditions that cannot guarantee the safety of passengers, the company and the captain reserve the right to make changes to the schedule, or if strictly necessary, definitively cancel the service. The company does not assume responsibility for services provided by third parties that cannot be provided due to force majeure. The pick up and drop off points are defined in advance but might change   according to weather conditions; these changes won’t make the company responsible for organizing or paying an alternative transport to the new departure point.

The captain has the right and duty to prevent access on board to people in visible altered states who could affect the safety of other passengers on board.

The booking holder is responsible for any damage caused on board and will be required to pay the equal amount of money in case of issues. The company is not responsible of any forgotten item.

CANCELLATION OF THE SERVICE FOR RESONABLE PROBLEMS

Bellagio Boat Service takes care of maintenance and prevention of breakage of its boats but in case of serious damages which prevent the performance, the navigation can be canceled at any time and the amount paid will be fully refunded. The refund will be credited within 10/15 working days.

Rafilù is fitted with every comfort you might need, such as Bluetooth stereo system, restrooms, and a sundeck. Each tour includes a complimentary Italian aperitive with Prosecco and freshly baked focaccine Skipper, insurance, fuel included.

Our rate is 260€ per hour with a minimum cruise time of 2 hours. The boat can host up to 10 people; from the fifth passenger, a surcharge will be applied to each extra person. Discount will be applied on multi-hours tour.

We are Federico and Cristina. In January 2019, we saw our dream boat, an Alpa 38, and decided that it was the right moment to start our new adventure. Shortly after, we created Bellagio Yacht Experience . After a bit of TLC and a few upgrades, Rafilù was finally ready to set sail. Sailing is the perfect activity to relax and have fun while enjoying the astonishing beauty of Lake Como. Every tour is uniquely tailored to fit our customers’ needs and desires, making them feel cocooned and part of our family. Federico has 10 years of experience as a sailing instructor on the lake, besides being a crew member on vintage vessels during historical regattas. He also served as 2nd officer on a tall ship cruising the Mediterranean. He is a proficient mechanic, an expert restorer of vintage boats, a professional diver, and last but not least, the skipper of Rafilù . Besides being an expert sailor herself, Cristina is also the creative mind behind Bellagio Yacht Experience . Thanks to her incredible eye for detail and tasteful touch, she will ensure every aspect of your experience is perfect. When renting our gozzo , she will tell you the best spots to enjoy the lake as well as some helpful driving advice. If you are a family or a group of more than 14 people the best option is a bigger boat: even if they are not as elegant as a water taxi this will allow you to have more space and it will cost you less than having 2 venetian taxi boats.

The price can vary upon the number of people onboard and the boat chosen. It’s required a minimum of 2 hours tour.

The deposit will be refunded to you if the tour is canceled due to bad weather or if you change your mind and decide not to take the tour.

No, unfortunately, the boat has a maximum capacity of 5 passengers.

The tour departs from the Como S.Agostino Docks, that you can easily reach by car, train, bus. We can also pick you up from other locations on the lake where there is an accessible docking pier.

There are several parking lots near the Como Docks where you can park your car: "Como Parcheggio Centro Lago" and "Autosilo Valduce" are the closest.

No, unfortunately, we can't carry luggage and the lake's navigation rules do not allow us to operate as a taxi service just to transport you to hotels or restaurants. We can only conduct tours.

Unfortunately, we can't. While the lake may appear small on maps, it is quite long to tour with a speedboat. As we depart from Como, touring the northern branch of the lake or the Lecco branch is not feasible due to speed boat fuel limits. However, we can assure you that the Como branch of the lake is spectacular to tour, encompasses all the most interesting attractions, and will surely amaze you.

Swimming is possible during some tours, depending on the weather conditions and the locations we visit. Please let us know if you're interested. Be aware that we do not provide towels for drying.

Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather and the possible wind. You may also want to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. You can also wear swimsuit, if you'd like.

No, the boat is open and it has a limited coverage tent for shading and protection of the weather.

Yes, if you opt for our full-day grand tour, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely lunch in a village or at a restaurant along the lake, such as in Bellagio or any other restaurant of your choice. However, if you choose a shorter tour (2, 3, or 4 hours), unfortunately there won't be enough time for lunch.

Absolutely! We always have cold water available for passengers. Upon request, we can also provide wine or prosecco for guests. Please let us know your preferences, and we'll arrange for drinks to be available on board. Unfortunately, due to the limited size of the boat, a full aperitif (happy hour or buffet) is not possible. Only small snacks like chips or similar can be provided.

Unfortunately, no. Before the tour, as much as possible, make sure you won't need to use the restroom for at least a couple of hours.

Lake Como boat tour

During this experience, you will have the full day to visit a large part of Lake Como; from Bellagio to the north area up to the amazing village of “Corenno Plinio”.

You will be sailing up north in front of Varenna, Villa Monastero, Villa Cipressi, Villa La Gaeta, Santa Maria Rezzonico with its ancient castle to the amazing middle age village of “Corenno Plinio” or to the south west part of the lake (Como branch) admiring Tremezzo,Lenno, the famous Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello ,Villa La Cassinella (Richard Branson house), the only island of Lake Como, “Isola Comacina”.

During the tour you can stop to have lunch. The skipper can help to identify restaurant along the way and help with reservation.

All my tours are private, that means that you reserve the boat with skipper and nobody else will share the yacht, and that any itinerary can be fitted to your wishes. During this sailing experience you can be active or relax and enjoy the view, sunbathing, sipping a glass of wine as well as stopping somewhere to swim.

Is it possible to pick us up in a specific village?

Yes it is possible; my boarding points are Bellagio, Varenna, Fiumelatte, Tremezzo for all my tours. From Menaggio only for 3 hours tour option.

What does it happen in case of bad weather?

if the weather should be bad (stormy, rainy or too much wind) I will cancel the tour with no penality for you unless it is possible to move the tour to another day or to another time in the same day, only with guest agreement. Only the captain of the boat can decide if the tour must be canceled or not.

What does it happen if during the trip, the weather should get bad?

If the captain should decide that the conditions are not safe to go on sailing he will drop you off back to the pier and you will pay only the time you could sail. If the captain decides that the conditions are safe but it is starting to rain you can decide with him what to do and if you don't feel comfortable he will bring you back to the pier to stop the tour ( in this case you will pay only for the time you stayed on board )

Born and raised on the shores of Lake Garda, I was initially fascinated by the world of flying and aviation thanks to my father who was a military pilot. Then, living in this beautiful place, the “call” of water became stronger and stronger so I was able to get in touch with very high-level activities in both the world of regatta and leisure sailing, thus easily ranging from the America’s Cup to the developememt of Maxi Sail Yachts.

All this has made it possible to enormously expand my horizons linked to my passion for water. After the long “international” parenthesis, I was in fact, for some years in command of a historic sailing ship sailing right on Lake Garda.

Now I am happy to start a collaboration in Lake Como with Bellagio Sailing as the skipper of Dama di Bellagio.

I began sailing dinghies when I was 15 on Lake Como , then I eventually cross the Atlantic for the first time in 2006 while I was studying geology at the University, and year after year my passion became a real job, that make me sail across the oceans on boats from Oceanis 36’ to Swan 76’. In around 10 years of time I did 30.000+ NM of deliveries and charter, both as captain and crew in the Med, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. From 2010 to 2018 I worked as skipper and first mate on different kind of sail boats everywhere in the world.

In 2019 Carlo gave me the opportunity to start a collaboration with Bellagio Sailing as skipper of Stai Serena
