Our season starts in April and ends in November . If you provide us with the number of people in the group, the preferred package, and the month of interest, we can check availability.

For private groups , a minimum of 8 persons is required. If your group is under 8 persons , you will ride with other people .

A GREAT TOUR STARTS WITH A GREAT BIKE

When you choose us, you’ll be riding the latest generation of KTM 250/300 EXC TPI bikes. All our bikes are in perfect condition, equipped with aluminum protections for added durability. Unlike traditional inner tubes, our bikes are fitted with mousse inserts, ensuring a flat-free experience in the wilderness.

All bikes are well-protected; however, in the event of damages resulting from a crash, typically involving low-cost plastics, the rider will be financially responsible.

Explore flight options to Timisoara, Romania (TSR) using our NoMud Flight Search below. Upon your flight’s arrival, we provide pick-up services at any hour from Timisoara Airport, escorting you to our accommodation in the mountains. This airport transfer service is included in the tour prices.

FLIGHT TO BUDAPEST AS AN OPTION

Alternatively, considering our proximity to the Hungarian border, you may opt to fly to Budapest Airport, Hungary.

Please note that due to the increased distance, the airport pick-up from Budapest Airport is NOT included in the packages but can be arranged for an extra charge of 100 EUR per person .

Enduro tours in Romanian mountains can travel through some extremely remote corners of the planet and motorcycle riding naturally comes with risks. Riding a new bike in a foreign country can increase thit risk, and for this reason, we highly recommend you to consider getting a sports insurance. This way you can ride with peace of mind, knowing that if something does go wrong, you`re covered! Also our guides have good knowledge of providing first-aid if needed and to perform a rescue operation.

All of our enduro tour packages are accompanied by a fully equipped assistance van which transports your luggage along and carrying a comprehensive tool kit, spare parts and fuel and sometimes food! Also if you’re feeling tired, you can always go with the assistance van. Each day we meet the assistance van at lunch break where the bikes will be refreshed and refueled.

EGT and Ica (our guide) understood perfectly our intentions, checking our level with just some riding minutes and sharing with us their mountains and landscape, of which he knows each rideable kilometer. All the riding days contain tracks for rookies, medium and advanced (extreme) riders.

The ride day usually is 6-8 hours. 1 hour lunch break at noon.

Our tours are designed and guided by motorcycle riders, for motorcycle riders. Come and live unique experiences in the Campina-Sinaia circuits! Enduro Romania organizes 1 day circuits, from 4 to 8 hours, about 80-120km. After a long day admiring the beauty of the nature, the circuit ends going back to accommodation, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere:  Augsburg House

Enduro Romania proposes a simple thing: to enjoy yourself. You can rent a motorcycle from us, or you can bring your own, in which case we can provide transport for it from Germany to Romania.

You’ll have no worries about transport from airport to the location, accommodation, equipment, clothes/motorcycle washing or experienced guides, because we will take care of all necessary details for you comfort and safety.

Accommodation is assured at  Augsburg House  (details on  www.casaaugsburg.ro ), a modern guest house in a spectacular area. Augsburg House will guarantee your full recovery after a long day on the motorcycle, offering you pool, steam bath, fitness, solarium, games or a relaxing massage.

What to know about Schengen zone, Europe’s ‘border-free’ travel system

Schengen countries allow international travelers to move freely across borders without additional passport checks.

Europe’s “border-free” Schengen zone has added travel protections for two more countries, making it easier for more people to explore the southeastern region of the continent.

Romania and Bulgaria partially joined the Schengen area on Sunday, which means visitors who arrive by air or sea from other countries in the zone can cross their borders without an ID check. Land borders will remain subject to ID checks because of opposition led by Austria, which has long cited irregular migration as a concern when it comes to welcoming the two Eastern European states into the Schengen agreement. The move comes more than a decade after Romania and Bulgaria joined the European Union.

The European Commission had previously recommended that Bulgaria and Romania be admitted to join the Schengen zone, starting in 2011 and most recently in 2023. A combination of internal problems in the two countries and opposition from other countries citing irregular migration concerns — especially after the so-called “migrant crisis” of 2015 — meant they were caught in “Schengen purgatory” until now, according to Leon Züllig, a researcher and Schengen expert at Germany’s Justus Liebig University Giessen.

Romania and Bulgaria Partially Join Europe's Schengen Area — What That Means for Travelers

Airports in both Romania and Bulgaria have removed passport check points for travelers flying within much of Europe.

Europe added two more additions to its border-free area this weekend, welcoming both Bulgaria and Romania.

The two countries partially joined the Schengen Area on Sunday, allowing travelers to move freely between them and dozens of other European countries, according to the European Commission . The new policy will apply to Bulgaria and Romania’s air and sea borders.

“I welcome the lifting of internal air and sea border checks. This is a great success for both countries. And a historic moment for the Schengen area - the largest area of free movement in the world,” Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, said in a statement. “Together, we are building a stronger, more united Europe for all our citizens.”

The lifting of border controls only applies to air and sea borders for the moment. It was not immediately clear when restrictions on land borders would be lifted.

As a result of their new status, airports in both Romania and Bulgaria removed passport check points on Sunday for travelers flying within much of Europe, Reuters reported .

The Schengen Area includes 27 other countries and allows travelers to move from country to country without border controls, according to the Council of the European Union . A couple of Romania and Bulgaria’s neighbors are already members, including Greece and Hungary.

The addition of the two countries comes months after the European Commission welcomed Croatia to join the Schengen Area in January. At the same time, Croatia also adopted the euro as its currency.

In addition to expanding its border-free area, the European Commission has postponed the start of a travel authorization fee until at least 2025. The fee, which will cost €7 ($7.51), will be required for travelers from visa-exempt countries , including the United States, to enter 30 different European countries . The fee will also apply to travelers visiting both Romania and Bulgaria.
