Titan Travel’s new group tours feature Kenya & Canada

2020-05-05T15:46:00+01:00

The tour operator has released new holidays for 2021 including a nine-day Kenya itinerary and a scenic Canadian tour.

Maasai Mara, Kenya

Kenya’s geographic diversity means that it supports an extraordinary range of wildlife.

The Kenya Tracks and Trails tour features 12 excursions and includes visits to a Maasai village, the Giraffe Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum. You’ll also experience a journey on the Madaraka Express, Africa’s newest railway, as well as taking a Big Safari in Amboseli National Park against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

It’s one of almost 200 worldwide tours released by Titan for 2021 which include river cruises on board MS Serenade such as a 14-night Blue Danube and Romantic Rhine cruise taking in the likes of Würzburg, Mainz and Rüdesheim.

Other group holiday highlights:

  • Wild Costa Rica: an adventure through five different national parks, this 16-day trip promises many bucket-list experiences such as trekking through cloud forests, sailing along crocodile rivers and being surrounded by a kaleidoscope of butterflies. It begins in San Jose and includes visits to the Tortuguero National Park, home to monkeys, toucans, green macaws and caimans, and the Monterverde Orchid Garden where more than 450 types of the flower grow.
  • Scenic Spectacular: this 15-day holiday takes you on a journey of Canada’s west coast, from the lesser-known and intriguing harbour town of Prince Rupert with its lively food scene to the attractive city of Victoria. You’ll tour Banff and visit Lake Louise as well as enjoying a whale-watching cruise in the Johnstone Strait before heading along the east coast of Vancouver Island. The trip also features a scenic rail journey on board VIA Rail’s Skeena train.

Lake Louise, Canada

Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies is known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake.

Titan Travel has also announced a Flexi-deposit meaning customers can book a holiday with just a £49pp deposit on bookings made before 30th September. Organisers then have the option to amend the booking up to 75 days before departure with no extra fee.

Its managing director Andy Squirrell said: “Titan   recognises that travellers want and need more control and flexibility when booking anything for the future during these uncertain times.” He said he hoped the new policy would give people the “extra confidence they require”.

Titan runs small group tours of up to 24 travellers. For more information on what it offers groups and the 2021 tours, you can visit  www.titantravel.co.uk/

Kenya is the classic east African safari destination. The country is synonymous with thrilling game drives across grassy plains to see lion prides, cheetahs in full flight, herds of elephants and loping giraffes. This is the place of the great migration, with thousands of wildebeest and zebras making their way across the savannah and braving croc-infested rivers. It’s where you can admire views of Mount Kilimanjaro and learn about the culture of the Masai.

It’s where you’ll find the Masai Mara National Reserve and stay in some of the best tented camps and lodges, enjoying sundowners while watching animals at a waterhole. And there’s much else besides, from flights in hot-air balloons to relaxing on the beach. We’ve pulled together bucket-list tours from some of the leading operators who specialise in the region and can put together the perfect itinerary for your trip to Kenya .

After meeting the residents, you return to the hotel where you started your incredible journey 10 days ago. (Breakfast and lunch)

Day 12: Nairobi – In flight Today, drive into Nairobi National Park to visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Orphanage. A sanctuary that rescues elephants and rhinos orphaned as a result of habitat loss, poaching and human conflict – the orphanage opens for one hour a day for visitors. Nairobi may be the safari capital of the world, but you'll find that there's so much more to it: learn about rich Kenyan history or the life and traditions of the bomas communities, and immerse yourself in the plenty of fun and creative activities this vibrant city has to offer.

Karen Blixen Museum

Abundant in local and international eateries, Nairobi is the city of fresh fish, nyama choma, and hearty barbecues.

Carnivore Kenya

Kenya is the largest tea producer in Africa, and coffee too is taken very seriously here: no visit to Nairobi is complete without taking a cupful at one of its many eclectic café gardens.

Tin Roof Cafe Langata

Bars & Nightlife

With several bars open 24 hours a day, Nairobi is a city that never sleeps — be prepared that you won't either. Let the African vibe entice you and learn some mwomboko dance moves, or have a chat with locals over a Tusker.

Brew Bistro

Besides its main shopping arteries like the Moi and Kenyatta Avenues, Tom Mboya and Biashara, there are several hidden gems (and go-to places) scattered all across Nairobi, spoiling you with the best of African craftwork. Don't forget to haggle!

Disappointing

I paid an advance registration for a trip in 2024 to get first call on the availability. Titan contacted me 7 months later, after the brochure was published, to follow up. On confirming my requirements I never heard again. Fee has been refunded at my request, but no explanation given as to why I was let down. I will NOT be paying for this service again; and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to do so.

Hoping to go to Australia next year so rang today for more details and on phone for at least 15 minutes but unable to get through so opted for them to return my call. But waited and waited but no phone call . So not good start . Read previous reviews and not good customer services . Will wait now to see if bothered to ring me. If not will go with another company .

Single person booking Titan

Booked the Awesome National Parks tour. Couldn’t have been easier or more straightforward. Nadia was very professional and helpful. I wasn’t made to feel rushed. Looking forward to my trip.

Sri Lankan tour

Everything on the tour of Sri Lanka was really good with our tour guide Shanaka organising everything really well and being very informative. As I was having difficulty walking he made allowances which meant that I could enjoy the trip. The hotels were lovely but were lacking in the main of facilities for people with mobility issues such as hand rails and wheel chair ramps Particularly noticeable in the showers was the lack of grab handles The coach ride was easy with the longest continuous time being about 3hours. All in all a great experience with an excellent itinerary.

Communiction - non existant

We are booked to go to USA for a trip down the Mississippi on a paddleboat next month. We learned by chance, last week, that the boat company have ceased operating. Titan have yet to contact us to tell us this rather important information. We have phoned them but promised return calls were not made. If this is how they cope in a crisis, it doesn't bode well

An Amazing Holiday!

Just returned from Australia after a fantastic tour. The drivers that transferred us to and from Heathrow were punctual, polite and professional. All the travel arrangements went according to plan and the coaches, drivers/guides were comfortable, efficient and knowledgeable. The hotels were very good and the itinerary was amazing! Our tour manager, Colin, was brilliant! So organised with a tip sheet for every location, lots of stories and information about all the places we visited. He looked after one member of the group who was poorly, arranging hospital treatment and dealing with her insurance, came on the excursions that he could and seeing everyone off when the groups were split into different activities then greeting us all on our return. He took away the stress usually involved with organising a prolonged holiday with many flights across different time zones. His advice in each city was very welcome and we were all sorry to say goodbye at the end of the trip. Thank you so much, Colin Spong for giving us the most amazing trip.

Hi, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. It sounds like you had an amazing experience and that Colin and the team looked after you all so well. We will pass on your kind comments. We look forward to you joining us on another Titan adventure. Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

Great Rail Journey of India Feb 24.

Recently returned from Great Rail Journey of North India (Feb 6 - 21). Well organised and our guide, Rahi, was extremely on-the-ball and a great problem-solver. Only down-side was that Indian hotels are not well sound-proofed and it must have been wedding season. Highly commended. Simon Matthews.

Pack poo sample kit!

In case of food poinoning, remember to pack your poo sample kit and, if needed, post to Irena Jasinski at Titan! " We must stress that we do not deny that you or those passengers who held up their hands to Hennie’s question of who had been poorly while on the Rovos Rail, were ill. What we are unable to ascertain is the cause of the illness. We have been presented with no evidence whatsoever proving beyond any probability that the cause of any passengers’ illness was as a result of food consumed on the Rovos Rail. No food was set aside for us to send for sampling, nor have we been presented with the results of any stool samples or other medical evidence. It is for this reason that we cannot accept liability" (they paid up, eventually!)

Wild India Fantastic guide in Yaju. Extremely knowledgeable and very good humoured. The staff at the various lodges were courteous and helpful. The jeep safaris were very enjoyable and we saw lots of tigers and other wild life. The trip was great but not quite as the brochure promised - a bit more realism would be appropriate. A slight hiccup as my driver wasn't booked from the airport but it was quickly sorted out by Stuart on the emergency number. A very memorable experience.

Just returned from great rail journey…

Just returned from great rail journey 16 days of dreams coming true. Very well organised, first class hotels and great friends made. This was all made possible by our guild Rahi Raza what an incredible man. He has a tremendous range of historical knowledge making every day interesting Very organised and capable of overcoming whatever problems put to him. I lost my phone from toy train window Rahi was able to summon friends/colleagues and it was found and returned. Incredible. We were well looked after. Thanks Titan.

The Great Indian Rail Journey

We have just returned from the Great Indian Rail Journey trip. It was amazing! We visited so places and had many varied experiences throughout. We would recommend the holiday as the best way to see this part of India. The trip was made even more enjoyable because of our guide, Rahi Raza. He was very knowledgeable on all the locations and sites we visited. He always had the time and patience to explain any further questions from the group. He brought us together from the outset and we became a well bonded, friendly group. Thank you Rahi!

Hi Juliet, Thank you for your amazing review about your recent tour on the Great Indian Rail Journey. We will ensure Rahi receives your feedback. Kind regards, Nick Titan Travel

Terrible, unhelpful customer services

Our return flight from Costa Rica on 20 Feb was delayed for over 22 hours. We are entitled to compensation from British Airways. To register the claim for compensation we need the flight booking refence which only Titan appear to have access to. I have now phoned on several occasions and spoken to Titan customer services to get the number. They informed me that they do not have access to the details and they have emailed another department and are waiting on the reply. I received a text message stating that they will endeavour to get back to me within 28 days. After sales care is non existent after taking nearly £8800 of our money.

Date of experience : 20 February 2024

Hi Robert, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're really sorry to hear about your experiences. This is not the kind of feedback we expect to receive and we can assure you that your comments will be passed back to ensure improvements are made in this area. We understand that our Customer Relations team have requested the flight booking reference details and will be in touch as soon as the information is received. We hope that your claim with the airline is successful and that you will still consider booking with us in the future, Best Wishes, Nick Titan Travel

This vacation was amazing. All the excursions and visits were so well chosen, the hotels were as advertised and the tour manager, Rahi Khan, added immeasurably to the whole experience. He was reliable, knowledgeable, friendly and completely capable. He taught us so much about India. There were a couple of unplanned moments ( the town lift in Shimla stuck with us in it) but we had total trust in Rahi’s ability to sort it out - which he did. With Rahi, we worked so well as a group. The local guides who assisted us were also very good, particularly those on the safaris in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, which resulted in two tiger sightings.

Hi Margaret, Thank you for given detailed feedback about our Great Indian Rail Journey Tour. We are delighted you had a great time with Rahi and the team in India. We hope to see you again on another Titan Tour soon. Kind regards, Nick Titan Travel

If my holiday with Titan is the same…

If my holiday with Titan is the same standard as my booking with them was,( extremely good) then I would be very impressed. The booking lady was superb in that she sought to answer all my questions with patience and especially helped with the various upgrades I wanted. 10 out of 10.

Date of experience : 27 February 2024

Dear David, Thank you for sharing your superb feedback about your booking journey. We are looking forward to seeing you on your Tour. Kind regards, Nick Titan Travel

Amazing! Just returned home from The Great…

Just returned home from The Great Indian Rail Journey. Amazing trip, good group, great sightseeing and a very knowledgable tour manager, Rahi Raza Khan. Very knowledgable, organised, funny and really adaptable with changes due to the farmers’ protests! Thanks for a great, unforgettable experience!

Thank you Kim for your feedback. We are delighted you had a great tour.

jewels of Spain

Our tour rep Karen was so helpful and went the extra mile to make our holiday such an enjoyable experience. 3 different locations in Spain. Food was variable but always plentiful, rooms were generally good but the Aguilas hotel rooms were the worst, but the location made up for any shortcomings. We were there for Mardi Gras week which was amazing. The third hotel in Salobreña was the best location and so were the rooms. All the trippers were good company and got along very well.

Date of experience : 22 February 2024

Thank you for your superb review of our Jewels of Spain Tour.

Titan’s Indian golden triangle by train

Our holiday went well from the time that we were picked up until we were dropped off at home at the end of the fortnight. Our designated guide looked after the group throughout and was able to share his abundant knowledge. We were able to experience such marvels that we’d seen in brochures that truly could not be experienced from a photograph and we were given an insight behind the history that we had not been previously aware of.

Thank you Sue, for your feedback on our Indian Golden Triangle Tour. We are delighted you had a great time and hope to see you again soon on another Titan Tour. Kind regards, Nick Titan Travel

Great trip, brilliant guide

I’ve just returned from the Great Indian Rail Journey trip. It was superb. So many places to see, so many varied experiences. Highly recommend. But the trip was great because of our guide, Rahi Raza. He was knowledgeable, a good communicator, but also genial, and a great companion. He handled the varied concerns of fellow travellers with tact and flexibility, bringing us together as a well bonded group. I’ve done several overseas tours but cannot remember a better guide than Rahi.

Hi Richard, Thank you for your feedback about the Great Indian Rail Journey Tour and your Tour Manager, we will ensure we share your amazing comments with Rahi and the Indian Team. Kind regards, Nick Titan Travel

Jewels of Spain February 2024

This 15 day tour was made by the tour guide Karen Maquire. She ensured that every aspect of the tour ran smoothly and even added extra walks to add interest. She has a detailed knowledge of Spain as she has lived there many years. The tour itself revealed the real Spain as opposed to the usual tourist spots and is thoroughly recommended.

Date of experience : 08 February 2024

Thank you Ian, for your feedback about our Jewels of Spain Tour. We are pleased you enjoyed the tour and would recommend to others. We hope to see you again on another Titan Tour. Kind regards, Nick Titan Travel

Experienced and knowledgeable staff

The Titan member of staff that we spoke to regarding a potential trip to Canada was most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The phone was answered promptly and email confirmation of the trip arrived as promised.

Thank you for your feedback about your booking journey.

We have just come back from The Great…

We have just come back from The Great Indian Railway Journey with Titan. We had a wonderful holiday so many sights and sounds. Our experience was enhanced because we had a very knowledgeable and caring guide,Rahi Raza. I would highly recommend him as a guide. 5 stars. The only downside for me was a noisy hotel, this was out of Rahi's control but he did his best to resolve the matter.

Date of experience : 21 February 2024

Thank you Sylvia for your review of the Great Indian Rail Journey from which we are delighted you had a wonderful holiday.

Kenya Offers Incentives to Indian Travel Agents. Plus: New Metro Route to the Taj Mahal — India Report

Bulbul Dhawan , Skift

March 5th, 2024 at 11:00 PM EST

India was the fifth biggest source market for Kenya in 2022. It, therefore, plays an important role in the African nation's strategy to recover its tourism sector from the pandemic.

The Skift India Newsletter is your go-to platform for all news related to travel, tourism, airlines, and hospitality in India.

The Kenya Tourism Board has launched a marketing campaign in India. Under the campaign, the tourism board will provide travel agents with incentives to promote Kenya as a tourism destination to the Indian travelers.

The campaign highlights the importance of India for Kenya’s tourism. John Chirchir, Ag CEO, Kenya Tourism Board, said that India stands as a pivotal market for Kenya in terms of travel and tourism. “We believe that this initiative will significantly contribute to strengthening our foothold in this dynamic landscape,” he added.

Visa-free entry in Kenya: In January 2024, Kenya became a visa-free country for international tourists, including for Indian passport holders. The move aimed to boost the country’s tourism sector, while also streamlining the entry process in the country with a new digital portal. Travelers to Kenya only need to apply and pay for an electronic travel authorization in order to enter the country.

In 2022, Kenya received more than 81,000 tourists from India, an increase of more than 93% over the 2021 figure. India was also the fifth largest source market for the country in 2022. During the first eight months of 2023, Kenya attracted most Indian visitors among all African nations .

New Stretch of Agra Metro Connecting Taj Mahal to be Launched

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the new stretch of the Agra Metro on Wednesday. The new stretch will connect to popular tourist destinations including Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The rapid transit network in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra will operate trains on the new route between 6 am and 10 pm every day.

The new stretch has been named ‘priority corridor’, and will connect Taj East Gate with Mankameshwar Temple. According to Ministry of Tourism data, Taj Mahal was the most visited ASI monument during the 2022-23 fiscal year. The monument received a domestic footfall of 4.5 million during this period.

21.8 Million Domestic Tourists Visited Kerala in 2023

The coastal state of Kerala recorded 21.8 million domestic tourists in 2023, setting a new record for its domestic tourist arrivals. This figure was nearly 16% up from the 2022 levels, which stood at nearly 18.9 million tourists.

Notably, 2023 also marked an increase of about 19% over the 2019 pre-Covid levels, Kerala tourism minister P A Mohamed Riyas said. Ernakulam district, where Kochi is located, saw the highest influx of tourists in 2023, followed by Idukki district, in which Munnar is situated. State capital’s district Thiruvananthapuram was the third most visited district in Kerala.

Our VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Nairobi, where we’ll stay for the night.

Our Kenya holidays begin on a high - enjoy the unbelievable sight of the Rift Valley as we travel in 4WD land cruisers to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Our rustic lodge is ideally located for uninterrupted views across a river, where animals regularly visit. Just a short distance along this river is a key crossing point for millions of wildebeest and zebra during the Great Migration - the ‘greatest wildlife show on earth’. Our first game drive takes place this afternoon, on the lookout for an impressive 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird species.

Extended morning and afternoon drives across the Maasai Mara offer opportunities to see the park’s magnificent inhabitants, including the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). You’ll be welcomed into traditional homes of a Maasai village by members of the Maasai tribe, dressed in traditional robes in vibrant red (to scare off the lions), and clinking with jewellery. You can learn about village life, their crafts, and the famous jumping dance performed by men to prove their strength.

We take one more game drive as we slowly make our way out of the park, and back to Nairobi for an overnight stay.

The next lodge we've chosen for our holidays to Kenya is in the heart of Amboseli National Park. On arrival, take time to relax by the palm-shaded swimming pool, or watch wildlife visiting the gentle mountain spring from the sundeck, with a wonderful view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Then, this afternoon, we take a game drive to search for the area’s abundant beasts. Lions, cheetahs, wildebeests and baboons are just a few of them; and then there are the hundreds of bird species heading to the trees for the night.

Morning and afternoon game drives take you into different areas of the park in search for all the species that call this home. It’s best known for the huge herds of elephants that make their way, surprisingly light-footed, across the plains.

Our journey today takes us to a natural anomaly. It’s said that several hundred years ago, locals saw something that could only be explained by the work of the devil - fire erupting and flowing from the ground. The Shetani (‘Devil’) Lava Flow has cooled into strange black, razor-sharp rocks, where a few plants are trying to break through. We continue to our lodge in Tsavo West and, this afternoon, proceed on a game drive which includes a visit to Mzima Springs. The lakes here are unusually clear, filtered naturally through lava, making it particularly easy to spy on the creatures that lurk within. An underwater viewing chamber allows you to view the lake from below the waterline. If you’re lucky, you might see a crocodile snaking through the water or a hippo tip-toeing along the bottom.

Our final day will be a busy one. We wake early for a sunrise safari. Tsavo West is a lesser-visited reserve, yet the animals are in abundance, and more at ease with the few safari jeeps that do cross its plains, creating a wonderful safari experience. The safari complete, we make our way to the train station for a journey to Nairobi. As you sit among friendly Kenyan locals in a comfortable, modern express train, you can watch the changing landscape through large windows - great stretches of golden savannah and dusty plains. On reaching the capital, we head to the Giraffe Centre. It was set up to save Rothschild giraffes from extinction, and educate children about the country’s wildlife. Today it gives you the opportunity to meet these towering quadrupeds eye-to-eye. We also visit the Karen Blixen Museum. This Danish author spent many years running a coffee farm here, before she returned to Denmark and wrote acclaimed books including ‘Out of Africa’. A farewell dinner is arranged at Carnivore, famous for barbecued meats including crocodile and ostrich, carved at the table. Filled with good food and great memories, it’s time to transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Upon arrival, your vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.

Reviews of this Operator

Danube cruise was great value.....

Danube cruise was great value. Well organised. Clear instructions from Titan prior to travel. Door to door service great.

Exceptional trip and service by Titan

Just returned from a fabulous tour of California & the golden west. It’s a full on tour with early starts but you see so much varied landscape from the ocean to the desert to Yosemite. My 2nd tour with Titan & my first solo tour. Thoroughly enjoyed it & met some great people. Grand Canyon was amazing would definitely recommend

Not merely a holiday, rather a memorable experience

I have used other travel operators; this was the 1st time of touring with Titan----Israel, The Holy Land, from being collected from home and returned at the end of the holiday this was an unforgettable experience; the Tour Manager, a PhD Archaeology made the whole tour so interesting, he enlightened us throughout each day from an historical, archeological and Biblical viewpoint, bringing each site we visited come to life, and went over and above his remit escorting us for evening trips around the local area; thanks also to our very patient driver who coped with the very busy traffic; our hotels were good, professional and pleasant staff and really good food; I would recommend Titan to anyone looking for a fascinating tour with excellent efficient service thank you Titan nor just for a holiday for a memorable experience

We had a 2 weeks...

We had a 2 weeks fantastic holiday arranged by Titan to Vietnam and Cambodia. Excellent, well organised Throughly enjoyed. Very good service by Vietnam Airlines, if you could afford book it in premium economy. We had a door to door service , picked up to airport from home and then dropped at home from airport, very convinient. Particular credit goes to our guide THI who is a caring, knolegeable, friendly down to earth man who made our trip a memorable one. I will not hesitate to book another holiday through Titan, their staff are friendly and helpful

We had a fantastic holiday...

We had a fantastic holiday in Mississippi. Right from our chauffeur driven car picking us up to the return journey, we had a great time. The first hotel The Gaylord was amazing, absolutely huge, first class. The second The Double tree in Memphis unfortunately wasn't, the hotel was tired and very basic, the only plus was where it is situated in the centre of town, we were only there two nights so it wasn't to bad. The American Queen Steam Boat was first class all the way, thoroughly enjoyed the seven nights sailing down the Mississippi. The last hotel the Sheraton New Orleans was very comfortable too. Our guide throughout our time away was Laura Tuttle. she was amazing, very knowledgeable, and helpful. We also had a coach driver Guil, who went over and beyond to give you the best time. Other coach guides included Jim,who was so funny, and also very knowledgeably. Very entertaining throughout. The entire itinerary itinerary was very well thought out, included a huge variety of visits to different Interesting locations. Highly recommend using Titan for all your holiday destinations.

Perfect Italian Holiday…

Just returned from a lovely week in Sorrento at the Grand Hotel Hermitage, we had an excellent guide Peter Macchristopher. we loved the hotel the staff were very nice especially in the dining rooms, the food was good and the room we had was really nice with a wonderful view. Altogether very good value holiday.we felt the trip to Pompei was very good also boat trip to Amalfi. I would recommend a walk to the village of St Agatha and a three hour ride on the Little Blue Train. Great fun.this can be booked at reception.

Made a call about an...

Made a call about an upcoming trip regarding currency trying to get best advice, dont think the guy really understood, i had to lead him from info i had but got there in the end. Felt he could have been a bit more forthcoming than beating about. Shame as we had a previous good rep. Still looking forward to the trip though.

THE GREAT INDIAN RAIL JOURNEY!!!!...

THE GREAT INDIAN RAIL JOURNEY!!!! (Dreadful) Avoid Titan and Saga at all costs. False descriptions of the tour and dreadful administration Returned to the UK last evening with a great sigh of relief after the worst holiday ever. 1. No block booking of airplane seats by Titan. (Husband and I sat apart on the long, overnight flight) 2. Unable to pre-book seats as Titan reference numbers did not coincide with anything. 3. Husband and I not sat together on any of the train journeys! In fact, on one occasion I was sat, alone on a sleeper carriage, a couple of carriages away from the rest of the group who were scattered over two or three carriages. Terrifying as a female to be sat alone in the midst of noisy locals!!!!! (Eventually the guide, Rahi, did come to rescue me and found a seat near the main group) 4. The guide, Rahi, would usually get off the coach and begin walking off without waiting for all the group to disembark the coach. (Spot the guide in the crowd!) 5. The guide, Rahi, refused to use any identifying prop such as a flag, hat, jacket or umbrella. Frightening to be in the manic crowds of Delhi and other crowded places to be unable to see the guide. 6. NO AUDIO HEADSET system on any excursion 7. The guide, Rahi, didn’t face the whole group, but stood sideways on and was unable to be heard by the majority. 8. OUTRAGEOUS behaviour by the guide when he enquired as to the whereabouts of my husband, whom I explained was in bed with an upset stomach and was feeling unwell. Rahi DID A REVERSE AIR PUNCH😳😳. This was in response to an earlier conversation when my husband had complained about our separate seating arrangements. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL 9. When we arrived at Heathrow to find our aircraft seats were not allocated, we were advised to speak to our guide on arrival at Delhi. Rahi merely shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn’t do anything. 10. Tour pace incorrect - gruelling pace and only half a day relaxation due to the guide, Rahi, throwing in visits to shops and factories fie him to earn his commission as I head him tell another!!!!!!! 11. When off loaded the return flight due to illness, we were unable to get in contact with Titan/Saga. Left in Delhi without an hotel or flight!!! Found accommodation but didn’t remove shoes or clothes due to the poor standard. Final summary: Poor, disappointing, inefficient, incompetent, misleading, misrepresentations, are just a few words to describe.

Luxury VIP door to door...

Luxury VIP door to door travel! I don't think so....Titan sent a Toyota Prius uber to Stanstead for a return journey to Newport, S Wales. 4 adults plus luggage! the experience was anything but luxurious. Contacted Titan on the return journey and since return. They simply didn't seem interested and offered us a £300 travel discount off a future trip! After a lot of emails they converted it to a £300 cash refund. Give it a lot of thought before booking !

Booked holiday to Austria late...

Booked holiday to Austria late May. Great speech by tour manager about how good the salads are at the hotel. Funny 8 day tour no salad served.First night weak tasteless chicken soup. Normal tour 25 Saga had added their group to ours so now restaurant which normally sat 25 had 44. Problems for people with mobility issues. Hotel not geared up for people with mobility issues. After complaints food improved slightly. Holiday only saved by tour manager and drivers professional attitude to group For a holiday that cost over £3000 I would NEVER book a holiday with Titan/Saga again.
