Blackpink Announces ‘Born Pink’ Tour Dates, Plots Largest World Tour in the History of a K-Pop Girl Group

Blackpink are launching into their comeback era at full speed with the announcement of Born Pink , the 36-date world tour that aims to be the “largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group,” according to the pop phenomenon’s management company YG Entertainment. They also announced the release date for their upcoming LP, also named Born Pink . The album arrives on Sept. 16.

The expansive tour will launch on Oct. 15 in Seoul before Blackpink makes their way to Dallas and Houston. November will see the group performing in Atlanta, Hamilton, Chicago, Newark, Los Angeles, and London before making December stops in Barcelona, Cologne, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

Blackpink recently made their musical return with “ Pink Venom ,” their first official single since the release of The Album in 2020. After some time holed up in the studio, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will release their sophomore album ahead of the tour launch, getting back into the flow of stardom.

“I love to perform, but I don’t always enjoy being part of the spotlight,” Jisoo shared in Blackpink’s candid Rolling Stone cover story . “I think it’s different for the other members: They love to receive the spotlight, feeling energized by the people who come to see us, and then getting a bit depressed when the stage is over and silence arrives. I’m a little different. When I’m onstage, I think about not making mistakes. Performing sometimes feels more like a test than something genuinely fun.”

Blackpink will be hitting the road — and catching flights — for their upcoming “Born Pink” world tour slated to begin on Oct. 15 up until June 21, 2023.

So far, the tour has announced stops in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, however additional dates will be announced. The circuit will kick off in Seoul on October 15 and 16, then the group will make their way to North America where they will perform 10 shows in seven different cities across the United States and Canada. The full initial dates are listed below.

To close out the year, Blackpink will visit Europe and then head to Asia and the Middle East at the top of 2023. Next summer, the group will tour Australia and New Zealand. See the full lineup of dates and cities below.

On Sunday (Aug. 7), Blackpink celebrated the band’s sixth anniversary and shared a special message of gratitude with their fans.

In addition to the tour, the group also recently announced the Aug. 19 release of “Pink Venom,” a pre-release single for “Born Pink” the album, due sometime in September.

The “Born Pink” world tour marks the girl group’s third tour succeeding the “Blackpink” arena tour in 2018 and the “In Your Area” world tour which ran from 2018 to 2020.

After a showstopping headlining performance at Coachella, BLACKPINK has announced a new run of dates titled, “World Tour [Born Pink] Encore,” with stops at a limited number of major stadiums across North America.

Starting on August 12, BLACKPINK will perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Oracle Park in San Francisco, and wrap up on August 26 at Los Angeles’s iconic Dodger Stadium.

BLACKPINK has announced the first dates and cities of their upcoming world tour!

On August 1, BLACKPINK released a comeback trailer announcing their pre-release single, comeback, and world tour.

On August 9 at midnight KST, BLACKPINK unveiled the first batch of dates and cities for their “BORN PINK” world tour. Kicking off in Seoul on October 15 and 16, the group will immediately head off to North America where they will perform 10 shows in seven different cities across the United States and Canada.

At the end of November through December, BLACKPINK will visit Europe and then head to Asia and the Middle East in the new year. Next summer, the group will tour Australia and New Zealand. Don’t worry if your city has not been announced yet as BLACKPINK promises even more dates!

After kicking off Oct. 15 and 16 with back-to-back shows in Seoul, the quartet’s U.S. run of concerts will begin 10 days later at American Airlines Center in Dallas. From there, they’ll light up major venues including Houston’s Toyota Center; Atlanta’s State Farm Arena; the First Ontario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario; Chicago’s United Center; the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.; and Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles through Nov. 19.

Rosé, Jisoo, Lisa and Jennie will then head across the pond to the U.K. and Europe, where the next leg of the tour will start Nov. 30 at London’s The O2 Arena. Additional shows are scheduled for Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi; Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany; and two nights at Paris’ Accor Arena. Plus the ladies announced a newly added nineteenth concert set for Copenhagen’s Royal Arena, and rescheduled their previously announced show in Berlin to Dec. 19 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, before wrapping up at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Dec. 22, just in time to head home for Christmas.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. local time, with presales starting a few days before on Sept. 13. To access the presale, fans can register for official BLINK membership on Weverse in both North America and Europe, with more information at blackpinklive.com .

The beloved K-Pop group, who just became the first Korean act to ever headline Coachella, is embarking on a four-show stadium ‘Encore’ of their ‘Born Pink Tour’ this August.

It’s been four years since BLACKPINK made their debut appearance at Coachella and it’s a moment that clearly made an impression on the group. “I believe that left a mark on all of our hearts,” singer Rosé tells the crowd as the band return to headline, making them the first Korean act to top the bill at the Californian event. “It made us remember the passion for performing for all you guys so I must say this is a dream come true for us to be headlining one of the largest festivals in the world.”

As the crowd waits for BLACKPINK to take to the stage, club-ready electronica begins to blast over the PA. As it does so, numerous drones start forming different shapes above the Coachella Stage – an astronaut, a butterfly, a heart, and more. It’s a dazzling lead-up to the main event that wows festivalgoers and builds anticipation for the four-piece’s eventual appearance.

The first “ BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA ”

Chances are if you’ve listened to even just one BLACKPINK song then you’ll know what their slogan is: “ BLACKPINK in your area .” It gets chanted several times during tonight’s performance, each yelled back passionately by the crowd. The first time it appears though – during ‘Kill This Love’ – it’s deafening; a true signal of the group’s arrival on stage that brings goosebumps.

Solo stages are a fixture of BLACKPINK’s ‘Born Pink’ world tour, and Coachella is no different. Each member gets their chance to shine in the spotlight, with two members choosing to perform familiar fan favourites, while the other two showcase new music. First up is rapper Jennie , who airs her unreleased song ‘You & Me’, which has been a highlight of other dates on the tour. This time, though, she adds a rap verse that brings new flare and ferocity to the lovelorn, pretty song. Immediately after her, singer Jisoo performs her recent debut solo single ‘Flower’ , enrapturing Coachella with its hypnotising melodies.

On the other side of the coin, Rosé begins her segment with a snippet of the yearning acoustic song ‘Gone’, before picking herself up and launching into the more upbeat ‘On The Ground’. Wrapping up the individual moments, Lisa picks up the baton from her bandmate by pole dancing at the back of the stage before launching into an explicit version of her single ‘Money’ (“ I came here to drop some money / Drop your fucking money,” she commands ).

The girl group might have a back catalogue full of bangers that all hit incredibly hard tonight, but their 2020 single ‘Lovesick Girls’ might just top them all. A strong declaration of independence, it’s euphoric in both its message and its bubbling, bright pop melodies and makes the whole crowd jump as one giddy mass.

Last time BLACKPINK played Coachella in 2019, you could see how nervous they (understandably) were, but there’s no hint of nerves tonight. Instead, the four women stride on stage as if they own it and deliver possibly the most confident performance of their lives. Rosé and Jisoo form the backbone of the songs with their powerhouse vocals, and Jennie makes each of her raps pack a punch. Lisa’s verse in ‘Whistle’, meanwhile, oozes charisma and effortless power. “ It’s checkmate, I won this game ,” she says at one point during it, and it’s hard to argue with her there.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER Officially Launches Third World Tour ACT: PROMISE

On May 3, TOMORROW X TOGETHER officially launched their world tour ACT: PROMISE . The first performances took place in Seoul at the KSPO Dome. Each of the 3 Seoul concert dates was completely sold out, amounting to 33,000 fans in total who showed up to support TXT.

During the first concert, the members shared their thoughts on the tour and the future of TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Leader Soobin stated, “We're going to tell our own story of how our dreams have grown and how we're going to protect our future together. I hope you will support us and look forward to it.”

Beomgyu added, “We've all been looking forward to this day. I think you all feel the same way. I really missed you guys.” He continued, “I thought, ’This is it,' while preparing the setlist. This is definitely our most legendary tour series yet.”

“I'm happy to be able to join the energetic MOAs from day one,” Taehyun said.  “As I prepare for the rest of this tour, I have one more promise I want to make to MOAs: I will perform for the rest of my life. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a hard time preparing for this tour, but as soon as we started performing, the dopamine hit. I was so happy, I almost went crazy. Thank you all for making me so happy.”

The three-day concert in Seoul kicks off the first leg of TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s world tour. The tour will take place in eight U.S. cities beginning with Tacoma, Washington on May 14, and four Japanese cities starting with Tokyo on July 10.

This is TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s third world tour, following the release of their album “ minisode 3: TOMORROW ”, featuring the title track “ Deja Vu ”.
