How To Watch LIV Golf Greenbrier live stream 2023
First round leader Matthew Wolff has been joined at the top of the leaderboard after round two by David Puig. Wolff made a three-under 67 on Saturday; Puig 65. But the lowest round of the day was by Bryson DeChambeau , who shot 61, and he has leapt 22 places to T3. The final round has been brought forward by four hours due to anticipated bad weather later.
To make sure you miss none of the action, below are all the streaming and broadcast details on how to watch a LIV Golf Greenbrier live stream from wherever you are – including options to watch for free – as well as today's tee times.
The Greenbrier Classic was held at The Old White at The Greenbrier from 2010 to 2019. Danny Lee won it 2015 and Kevin Na and Joaquin Niemann won its final two editions, by which time it had been rebranded as A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier.
It could have been four future LIV-golfer winners, as Sebastian Munoz led after each of the first three rounds in 2017, with 61-67-68. However a final round 72 saw him fall to T3. Munoz’s 61 was not a record, as 59 has twice been made here. The course tends to yield low scores, and its tree-lined narrow fairways and smallish greens put a premium on accuracy rather than length.
Twenty-seven of the 48-man field have played in the Greenbrier Classic, many of them without a huge amount of success. Only Charles Howell III, Mat Jones, Pat Perez and Cameron Tringale, apart from the four already mentioned, have top-10 finishes here. Tringale is the most experienced, having played in all nine Greenbrier Classics. However, as he missed four cuts, Charles Howell III chalked up as many competitive rounds in his eight appearances as Tringale did in nine, with a T9 and a T30 Howell’s best results, and set against his own three missed cuts.
Talor Gooch, who is leading the LIV standings, is returning to a venue where he missed the cut in 2019 and came T21 in 2018.

2023 LIV Golf Greenbrier: Schedule, field of players, teams, prize money, purse, live stream, TV schedule
Liv golf makes its return after being absent for nearly a month.
Nearly a month removed from its last tournament, LIV Golf Greenbrier marks the beginning of the end for the 12-team league's second season of existence. With only four tournaments left before the team finale at Trump National Doral, LIV Golf travels this week to The Old White course at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Both individuals and teams alike will be jostling for positioning as higher-seeded teams will be given the luxury of choosing their match-play opponents for the season finale. Talor Gooch, a three-time winner this season, has his RangeGoats in a strong position entering the home stretch as they find themselves third in the standings behind Joaquin Niemann's Torque GC and Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces in first.
Gooch himself is atop the individual standings, but LIV Golf London winner Cameron Smith is hot on his heels. Pulling within seven points of Gooch, Smith looks to get right after a somewhat disappointing Open defense that resulted in a T33.
Smash GC captain Brooks Koepka rounds out the top three thanks to his win at LIV Golf Orlando and podium finishes in Singapore and Spain. Patrick Reed and Johnson make out the rest of the top five with notables like Bryson DeChambeau, Harold Varner III and Sergio Garcia hoping to improve their standing with a strong showing at the Greenbrier.

The Old White Course at The Greenbrier gave up a final-round 59 to Stuart Appleby the first time it hosted a PGA Tour event back in 2010, the Aussie taking the inaugural title.
On Sunday, the course gave up a final-round 58 to Bryson DeChambeau the first time it hosted a LIV Golf League event, the American taking the inaugural title—and grabbing his first win anywhere since the Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2021.
DeChambeau showed signs that fireworks might be in order when he posted a nine-under 61 on Saturday to get into contention. But a 13-birdie, one-bogey performance on Sunday was more than anyone might expect, outpacing runner-up Mito Pereira by six shots.
Interestingly, DeChambeau put a new driver in the bag this week, switching to the Krank Golf Formula Fire LD driver that he has used previously in World Long Drive competitions. "How do I say this? It's probably performed the best I've ever had in the past five years in professional golf for me, ever since 2018 when I was striping it early in the year," DeChambeau said when asked about the new driver after his 61 on Saturday.
With the win, DeChambeau claimed the standard $4 million first-place prize money payout from the $20 million overall individual purse. Here’s the prize money payout for the field at Greenbrier. Come back after the tournament and we’ll update the post with names and individual paydays.

LIV Golf Tour to host tournament at The Greenbrier’s Old White Course in August
After a three-year hiatus, professional golf will return to the Old White Course at The Greenbrier Resort next August. The LIV Golf Tour confirmed Wednesday that the second-year circuit will host tournaments in Tucson, Ariz., Tulsa, Okla., and in White Sulphur Springs. The tournament will be played August 4-6.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the LIV Golf League and looking forward to seeing the game’s best players return to the Old White Course,” said Greenbrier President Jill Justice. “For more than a century, The Greenbrier has been at the forefront of golf in America, and LIV will provide another exciting chapter to the incomparable legacy of the sport at America’s Resort.”
As recently as Friday, Gov. Jim Justice hinted that an announcement about the new event was imminent .
The Greenbrier hosted PGA Tour events from 2010-2015 and from 2017-2019. The 2016 event was cancelled by flood waters that swept through the Greenbrier Valley and caused extensive damage to The Old White course.
The PGA Tour moved the 2019 event to its Fall Series in September, and the contract with the Greenbrier was not renewed following that year. Previous tournaments were hosted in July and August.
Kevin Na (2018) and Joaquin Niemann (2019) are LIV Golf members to win the PGA Tour event at the Greenbrier.
LIV Golf Commissioner and CEO Greg Norman visited The Old White in August.
“LIV Golf’s expansion to new U.S. markets adds to the growing excitement for the league launch in 2023,” said Norman. “More fans across the country and around the globe will experience the LIV Golf energy and innovative competition that has reinvigorated the sport, and these championship courses will contribute to the transformative season ahead for players, fans and the game of golf.”
Several of the world’s elite golfers have joined LIV Golf over the last six months. The tour features lucrative purses that are backed by the Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia. Each event features a unique, 54-hole format with shotgun starts. There is no cut at any event, guaranteeing all players in the field will receive prize money. Team events are also part of the format.
Bryson Dechambeau, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, Harold Varner III and Bubba Watson are among the LIV Golf members to previously compete at the Greenbrier PGA Tour events.
Seven tournament dates are confirmed for the 2023 LIV Golf schedule, with the Greenbrier event currently the latest on the calendar.
Recently, the WVGA West Virginia Amateur has been hosted at The Old White during the first week of August.

Bryson DeChambeau shoots 58 to earn first LIV victory as Ryder Cup nears
- Becomes only fourth player in top-level golf to shoot 58
- American finished 23-under for six-shot victory
Bryson DeChambeau became the fourth player on a top-level tour to shoot 58, making birdies on his last four holes to capture his first LIV Golf title at the rain-softened Greenbrier on Sunday.
DeChambeau holed a 35-foot putt on the par-three 18th and leapt with joy to celebrate the lowest score of his career.
Jim Furyk had a 58 in the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour in 2016, while Ryo Ishikawa at The Crowns in 2010 and SH Kim at the 2021 Golf Partner Pro-Am each shot 58 on the Japan Golf Tour.
What made DeChambeau’s round stand out was that he shot 58 with a bogey.
“Oh my God. Do you believe that?” DeChambeau said after his final putt as a steady rain fell on the Old White course at Greenbrier Resort.
DeChambeau finished at 23-under for a six-shot victory over Mito Pereira, earning a $4m payday.
The Greenbrier previously hosted a PGA Tour event for nine years. In the inaugural Greenbrier Classic in 2010, Stuart Appleby shot 59 in the fourth and final round to win.
DeChambeau opened with six birdies in seven holes, and then saved his best for the end when he ran off four straight birdies, two of them on par threes. The former US Open champion had said before the tournament that he believed he was coming into form.
It certainly was enough for Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson to take notice as he prepares to make his captain’s picks for his team later this summer. LIV players do not earn points toward automatic qualification for the Ryder Cup, which begins 29 September at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Rome.
“I’m playing really well. I’ve got some equipment that’s performing quite nicely off the driver, and that’s a deadly combination with my putting,” DeChambeau said. “So clearly I putted well, drove it well, wedged it pretty well. You couldn’t have written it up better than this, but if I do get a call, that would be awesome. If not, I’ll be rooting them on over in Rome.”
Three other players have shot 58 on secondary tours – Stephan Jaeger in the 2016 Ellie Mae Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour; Alejandro del Rey in 2021 Swiss Challenge on the Challenge Tour; and Jason Bohn in the 2001 Bayer Championship on the Canadian Tour.
The record for professional golf is David Carey, who shot 57 in the 2019 Cervino Open on the Alps Tour.
DeChambeau had a chance at a sub-60 round on the PGA Tour two years ago at Caves Valley in the BMW Championship until missing birdie putts on the last two holes for a 60.

“LIV Golf is the truly global golf league that the sport and its fans deserve,” said LIV Golf Commissioner and CEO Greg Norman . “We’re thrilled to announce an exciting slate of events that reflects our commitment to bringing world-class players and premier competition to new and repeat markets every year. Launching a new league is a massive undertaking, and we’re full steam ahead building off our incredibly successful first full season in 2023. Our goal has always been to create a worldwide league that inspires progress and attracts new fans to the sport that we love. LIV Golf is stronger than ever, and next season will accomplish that goal and more.”
LIV Golf League competition will once again kick off at El Camaleón Golf Course in Mayakoba, Mexico, site of last season’s opener. Also returning as host venues: The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia – winner of the World Golf Awards’ Best Golf Event of 2023; the legendary Real Club Valderrama in Andalucía, Spain; the Serapong course at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore, recently named World’s Best Golf Course; and The Old White course at The Greenbrier, site of Bryson DeChambeau’s historic title-winning 58.
The 2024 regular season schedule will also bring many of the top players in professional golf to new markets and venues. In February, the historic Las Vegas Country Club, located in the heart of Las Vegas, will host the first U.S.-based event of the season. In March, LIV Golf travels to Saudi Arabia before visiting Hong Kong Golf Club, home of the Hong Kong Open, the city’s oldest professional sporting event. In June, the Golf Club of Houston will host LIV Golf’s first tournament in the state of Texas before The Grove golf club in Nashville brings the league’s “Golf, But Louder” theme to Tennessee. In late July, LIV Golf will visit the United Kingdom for a third consecutive year, this time traveling to the renowned JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire.
LIV Golf’s star-studded, international field will return in 2024 with many of the sport’s biggest names including 2023 Individual Champion Talor Gooch (RangeGoats GC), 2020 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau (2023 Team Champions Crushers GC), 2022 Open Champion Cameron Smith (Ripper GC), 2023 PGA Championship winner and five-time major champion Brooks Koepka (Smash GC), six-time major winner and World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson (HyFlyers GC), two-time major winners Dustin Johnson (4Aces GC), Bubba Watson (RangeGoats GC) and Martin Kaymer (Cleeks GC), and many more. Throughout the season, LIV Golf League competition will air in the U.S. on Saturdays and Sundays on The CW, The CW App and LIV Golf Plus, with Friday rounds carried on The CW App and LIV Golf Plus. In addition, LIV Golf tournaments are carried globally on LIV Golf Plus, the LIV Golf YouTube channel and on more than a dozen international broadcast partners, delivering league broadcasts in over 180 territories to more than 380 million homes worldwide.

What are the benefits of owning vs. renting?
Owning a home can help you build equity, offers tax deductions and fixed monthly payments, and gives you a sense of permanence. When you rent, your lease sets the price, your place isn’t really yours, and there are no tax benefits or financial freedom. There are many benefits to owning a home that you can’t get with renting.

Valspar Championship, Round 1: How to watch, featured groups, live scores, tee times, TV times

Round 1 action from the Valspar Championship gets underway Thursday from the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida, the final event of the TOUR's Florida Swing. The Valspar has been a staple on the PGA TOUR schedule since it was founded in 2000. Taylor Moore returns to defend his title looking to become the fifth player to win the Valspar multiple times. Plenty of stars will take the stage at the Copperhead Course including two runner-ups from last week's PLAYERS Championship, Xander Schauffele and Open champion Brian Harman. Schauffele efforted a T12 here in 2022 while Harman will tee it up for the 10th time, looking to improve upon his best finish (T5) in that same year.
Fifteen-time TOUR winner Justin Thomas will tee it up for the fourth consecutive year after finishes of T10-T3-T13 in his past three attempts. Aside from Moore, other past champions of the event in the field include Sam Burns and Jordan Spieth. Spieth, now a 13-time winner on TOUR, earned his second career victory here in 2015, a season that would see him win four more times including the TOUR Championship. Burns is one of two players to successfully defend his Valspar title by winning in 2021 and 2022.

The Boss is back: Bruce Springsteen launches 2024 tour with a joyous Phoenix concert
W hen Rolling Stone invited readers to vote for the greatest live acts of all time in 2011, it’s doubtful the results came as a huge surprise to anyone.
Not only did Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band win the popular vote, they did it without “a close second anywhere in sight."
And that’s because their concerts were — and are , as they reminded us as Springsteen relaunched his postponed world tour on Tuesday, March 19, at Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix — the stuff of legends.
Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.
Springsteen and The E Street Band stretch the boundaries of what it means to prove it all night while chasing moments of transcendence that can range from deeply moving to profoundly silly.
Bruce Springsteen setlist 2024: Every song he sang at Phoenix tour relaunch
Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band relaunched their tour in Phoenix
The last time Springsteen brought the E Street Band to Phoenix , on a tour in 2016 re-exploring “The River,” they turned in a 3½-hour concert whose truly awe-inspiring six-song encore ended in a spirited revival of the Isley Brothers’ “Shout.”
The fans who flocked to Footprint Center on Tuesday night were on a pilgrimage to see the relaunch of the E Street Band’s first tour since then — a tour cut short in 2023 as Springsteen was treated for peptic ulcer disease, a potentially serious gastrointestinal condition.
Springsteen turned 74 in late September 2023. Four days later, he broke the news that he’d been forced to postpone all remaining concerts booked for 2023 “out of an abundance of caution.”
Naturally, I went into the Springsteen concert on Tuesday night assuming I might feel the need to make allowances for age and health and everything those words imply, especially when used that close together.
But the Springsteen who rocked that arena in Phoenix on Tuesday didn’t need my well-intentioned qualifiers.
He 'just kind of shot through the roof': How Phoenix radio made Bruce Springsteen the Boss
Springsteen brought his A-game to the relaunch of his world tour
The man brought his A-game at the helm of an 18-member E Street Band (or 17 if you’re not counting Springsteen as a member of that band, which seems a bit ridiculous) in a breathless journey through their glory days with an energy that only seemed to flag in the course of their nearly three-hour performance when the song itself demanded it.
He’s certainly scaled back on the physicality of his performance style.
There were no bent-knee slides across the stage. No leaping to rival a young Pete Townshend. But the sense of showmanship remains, from the playful rapport of Springsteen's onstage antics with the members of the E Street Band to the charming self-awareness of his dance moves to that moment toward the end where he tore his shirt open for no apparent reason other than to entertain.
His voice has aged a bit since the first time he followed that iconic shout of “1-2-3-4” with “the highway’s jammed with broken heroes on a last-chance power drive.” But he’s too good a singer to let that compromise the essence of his vocals, settling into a more conversational delivery on “Born to Run” that made it feel like you were hearing those same lyrics for the first time after knowing them for nearly 50 years while also sidestepping the high notes.
Springsteen and the E Street Band are on a search-and-rescue mission
My favorite Springsteen memory is the E Street Band reunion show I saw in 1999 at the Meadowlands in Jersey, where the Boss announced that they were on a “search-and-rescue mission” to regenerate, rejuvenate and otherwise rekindle the spark that is “the majesty, the mystery and the ministry of rock ‘n’ roll.”
Of course they were.
And 25 years later? Springsteen seemed as committed as ever to that search-and-rescue mission, from the time he and his bandmates made their entrance one-by-one to set the tone with “Lonesome Day,” one of three songs they played from “The Rising,” to the raucous rendition of “Twist and Shout” that brought the encore to a joyous climax, having been requested by an 18-year-old fan whose sign said this was his first Springsteen concert.
That kid obviously picked a good night to be introduced to what it means to witness Springsteen in his element, leading the E Street Band in a 29-song overview of his career.
Highlights ranged from 'Born to Run' to 'Dancing in the Dark'
The setlist made its way through countless classics, reaching back to his first album, “Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.,” for a loose-limbed “Spirit in the Night,” and touching on a number of the most beloved songs on “Born to Run” and “Darkness on the Edge of Town” as well as “No Surrender,” “Dancing in the Dark” and other crowd-pleasing highlights of “Born in the U.S.A.,” a 17-times-platinum mainstream-saturating exercise in world domination that remains his most successful album.
They also dusted off a handful of the soul and R&B songs Springsteen covered on his latest album, 2022’s “Only the Strong Survive,” and three songs from his latest album of original material, “Letter To You,” including the solo acoustic version of “I’ll See You In My Dreams” that brought the encore to a haunted finish.
But what made that concert special went beyond what songs they played.
The E Street Band remain a force of nature, despite the loss of Clarence Clemons — “the Big Man” as his joining of the band is celebrated even now in “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” — and Danny Federici, who played organ, glockenspiel and accordion from the time they put the band together in Belmar, New Jersey, until his death in 2008.
Springsteen honored their memory during “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out," during which their images were flashed across the screens above the stage.
The new, expanded E Street Band was brilliant
The current edition of the E Street Band is a three-guitar army with Springsteen, the Valley's own Nils Lofgren and Steven Van Zandt taking turns in the spotlight, two great keyboard players (Roy Bittan and touring member Charles Giordano), violinist Soozie Tyrell, the stellar rhythm section of drummer Max Weinberg and bassist Garry Tallent, and 44-year-old Jake Clemons still doing an excellent job of honoring his uncle, Clarence Clemons, who died in 2011, with the swagger (and physical stature) one would need to even try to fill those shoes.
There’s a flashiness to Lofgren’s soloing that’s undeniable while Springsteen squeezes out the sparks in solos that rely more on the power of each individual note and how it’s phrased, as evidenced on “Prove It All Night,” in particular, while indulging in some low-end twang Duane Eddy would’ve envied on a fantastic “Letter to You.”
The E Street Band’s ranks are further fleshed out in their current incarnation by four backup singers, a four-man horn squad and percussionist Anthony Almonte.
It was quite the crowded stage.
Springsteen kept the banter to a minimum in Phoenix
Springsteen's legend is based in part on his conversational approach to showmanship, as evidenced by the classic monologues captured on “Live/1975–85.”
But he kept the chit-chat to a minimum for much of Tuesday’s concert.
Taking the stage in a red-and-black flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled extra high, he greeted the fans with a quick “Good evening, Arizona. 1-2-3-4” and barely said another word until he’d made it through “The Promised Land,” the 10th song of the night.
Springsteen eulogized his teenage bandmate George Theiss
His first big monologue was 14 songs deep, after “Mary’s Place,” when he introduced the poignant “Last Man Standing” with the story of George Theiss, a bandmate he met at 15.
“It was 1965,” he began.
“I was 15 years old and I had been playing guitar for about six months when one summer afternoon, I heard a knock on my door and it was George Theiss, a school friend of mine, and he was looking for a guitar player to audition for his band.”
Springsteen passed the audition in a “shotgun shack” and “embarked on the greatest adventure of my life,” he said. “I played in my first real rock ‘n’ roll band and it lasted for three years. As kids. Three years! That’s a lifetime for teenagers.”
Fast forward 50 years and a much older Springsteen is visiting Theiss on his deathbed as his former bandmate is dying of cancer.
“He only had a few days to live,” Springsteen said. “And I realized that his passing would leave me as the last living member of that first band, the Castiles.”
Springsteen spoke of 'death's final and lasting gift to us'
Death brings a certain clarity, Springsteen said. “Death’s final and lasting gift to us, the living, is you get an expanded vision of the life you can live yourself. George’s death made me realize, again, just how important it is to try and live every moment you’re here.”
And with that, the stage was set for “Last Man Standing,” a haunted highlight of his latest album of original material, “Letter to You.”
The tribute to his fallen bandmate carried over into “Backstreets,” one of several emotional highlights that ventured into existential territory.
He didn’t mention the loss of his mother, Adele Ann Springsteen, who died in January at 98. But there’s no doubt that she was on his mind.
Even "Night Shift," the Commodores cover from "Only the Strong Survive," felt like it tied into the existential theme.
After bringing the show to a crowd-pleasing climax in an encore packed with some of Springsteen’s most enduring calling cards, from “Born to Run” to “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight),” “Glory Days,” an anthemic “Dancing in the Dark” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out,” Springsteen sent the other members of the E Street Band away after a joyous “Twist and Shout” to end the night with a solo acoustic rendition of “I’ll See You in My Dreams.”
"I'll see you in my dreams," he sang. "We'll meet and live and laugh again. I'll see you in my dreams, yeah, around the river bend. For death is not the end and I'll see you in my dreams."
Springsteen apologized for postponing his Phoenix concert
But first, he said he was sorry he had to reschedule his world tour.
“First, I want to apologize if there was any discomfort because we had to move the show last time,” he said. “I had a mother (expletive) of a bellyache. I hope we didn’t inconvenience you too much.”
Then after making a plea on behalf of St. Mary’s Food Bank , he brought the concert to an existential close with “I’ll See You in My Dreams,” a suitably haunted reflection on the friends he lost along the way.
It was a fitting close to a concert steeped in existential musings by a legend who invited us to take that long walk on his first release with “Growin’ Up.”
More than 50 years later, Springsteen is still growin’ up, inviting us to come along. It’s a beautiful thing if you’re willing to let your guard down and experience the ride.
