Picture yourself lounging on the teak deck of a 90-foot wooden yacht surrounded by breathless vistas, azure seas with an indigo sky above. Imagine watching a glorious crimson sunset and then the canopy of stars as it slowly appears overhead.

Dream of the relaxation as a smiling crewman brings you a frosty drink and serves you delectable Turkish dishes created by your personal chef. See yourself standing next to the captain as he steers the craft into a silent bay, once an ancient port. Each day presents a new discovery!

Explore the dazzling remains of former civilizations, fascinating crusader’s castles, and remote fishing villages. Enjoy the leisure time to hike, swim in the crystal-clear water of the Eastern Mediterranean or simply snooze on deck. And during the voyage, enjoy informal lectures on the culture, archaeology, and history of Turkey.

Far Horizons proudly presents a 15-day trip along the Mediterranean coast of Turkey that includes eight days onboard a traditional wooden gulet, or motor-sailer. Today, as in antiquity, the ancient cities along the Turkish Caria and Lycia coasts are most accessible to the outside world from the sea.

This part of the Turkish coastline is so lush, verdant, and bountiful in natural beauty and history that it takes your breath away. Won’t you join only eight others for what is truly a trip of a lifetime?

Türkiye Tour Itinerary

Day 1 depart for turkey.

Depart on flight bound for Turkey.

Day 2 Arrive Antalya, Turkey

Arrive Antalya, Turkey. Transfer to our home for the next two nights – the Tuvana Hotel, an exquisitely restored 19th century Ottoman home located in the Kaleiçi, the delightful old port section of the city encircled by 2,000-year-old Roman walls. This picturesque quarter with its narrow winding streets and lovely Ottoman homes has won national and international architectural awards for its beautiful restoration. The charm of the ancient Roman and later Ottoman architectural styles has been maintained with outdoor cafes, restaurants, hotels, and shops housed in the old buildings along the twisting cobblestoned streets. After the long flight, enjoy the outdoor swimming pool encircled by lush gardens before gathering for our festive welcome dinner party in one of Antalya’s fine restaurants. (D)

Day 3 Antalya Archaeological Museum

Begin in the Antalya Archaeological Museum, displaying splendid marble sculptures from nearby Perge. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of the  kaleici , the ancient port, to study both the Ottoman and Roman architecture. We will see a decorated three arched monumental Roman gate built into the city wall to celebrate Emperor Hadrian’s visit in 130AD, the Karatay Medrese that exemplifies the best of Selcuk stone carvings, the elegant fluted minaret all that remains of a building that started its life as a Roman temple, was converted into a Byzantine church, and finally became a mosque, and the 19 th  century Iskele Mosque that is built of cut stone and set on four pillars over a natural spring. The rest of the afternoon and evening is on our own to discover the secrets of the old port section. (B/L)

Day 4 Phaselis and Olympos

Depart Antalya and drive along the southern coast with stops to see the remains of two memorable cities. Ideally positioned to be an important commercial center, Phaselis was settled many centuries before Christ by Greeks from the island of Rhodes. Tucked between the rocky crags of the mountain and the azure sea, the location is stunning with archaeological remains still standing within a grove of pine trees, encircled by enticing beaches. Olympos was named for the nearby mountain, one of more than twenty mountains of the same name throughout Greece and Asia Minor. Built in the Hellenistic period, it was a hidden home for pirates during the Byzantine period.  Located where a river meets the Mediterranean Sea, the site is especially striking in the summer when it is overgrown with flowering pink oleander bushes.  The city is also known for the perpetual fire that burns on the massif and has been burning continuously since long before classical antiquity. A climb takes us to see the eternal flames of the  Chimaera , “the fire-breathing monster,” dedicated to Vulcan, the Roman god of fire. Overnight in the Turkuaz Köy Hotel in Finike. (B/L/D)

Day 5 Arykanda

Travel to the rarely visited Arykanda, perched high in the Taurus Mountains and known to be one of the oldest Lycian sites. Overlooking a spectacular valley, the city’s strategic location allowed it to control ancient trade routes. As we ascend the five terraces supported by huge basalt stone blocks, we will spot the odeon, theater, stadium and immense Roman bath. After lunch, we board our gulet , or traditional wooden yacht, our home for the next eight nights. Cruise to Kekova, a national underwater park, where submerged ruins of an earlier civilization glisten beneath the crystal-clear, cerulean blue waters. The area includes a protective island as well as an ensemble of scenic bays and we will anchor in one of them. All breakfasts, most lunches and dinners will be created for us onboard by our creative Turkish chef. (B/L/D)

Day 6 Theimussa

Our day’s explorations begin in Theimussa, or present day Üçağız, which existed as early as the ninth century BC. A multitude of sarcophagi from Hellenistic and Roman times lie scattered in the nearby fields, and the remains of a massive dock is still visible. Along the northern shore of Kekova Island, earthquakes have disturbed the land causing some of the houses to sink below the sea. As we motor along the shore we will catch glimpses of this city below the sea. The village of Kale is set on the remains of Lycian Simena. Our climb up the hillside takes us to both the Lycian citadel and a crusader’s fortress, perched at the top of the mountain. As we climb down, stop to investigate a theater that is Lycia’s smallest and take some time to explore the teahouses and shops dotting the fishing village below. (B/L/D)

Day 7 Demre

Demre was one of the most important towns of ancient Lycia. During the 5 th  to the 3 rd  centuries BC. hundreds of dramatic tombs were cut into the towering cliff-face, many with decorative pillars and finely carved reliefs of funeral scenes. The remains of a glorious theater, one of the largest and finest in Anatolia, stands at the base of the acropolis. The Eastern Roman emperor Theodosius II made Myra, ancient Demre, the capital of Byzantine Lycia.  The fame of the city is primarily due to St. Nicholas, the Bishop of Myra in the 4 th  century AD. He was known to help the needy and, after his death, Saint Nicholas transformed into the legendary character called Santa Claus, who brings Christmas presents to children around the world. Legend has it that he is buried in the still-standing church. Upon return to our vessel, enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters of our cove. (B/L/D)

Day 8 Lycia

This part of the coast, heavily indented and full of isolated caves and islets, encompasses some of Lycia’s most breathtaking scenery.  Hundreds of tombs dot the hillsides with many rising out of the sea.  Founded 2,500 years ago, Aperlae is protected by a formidable wall of perfectly carved stone blocks. Once the capital of a confederation of Lycian cities, today it can only be reached from the sea and stands deserted but for the herds of goats wandering among the silent ruins. Immense middens of murex shells found here suggest that the city manufactured the prized purple dye used for the robes of royalty.

Then we move on to the alluring village of Kaş, or ancient Antiphellos, a member of the Lycian League. Whitewashed houses are festooned in vivid bougainvillea, and rock-cut tombs and sarcophagi are scattered among today’s buildings. After walking to the Hellenistic theater, there will be time to wander in the town square or sip Turkish tea in one of the shore-side gardens. (B/L/D)

Day 9 Letoon, Xanthos, and Patara

Today we travel by minibus to visit three important cities of the Lycian federation. Letoon, a  UNESCO World Heritage Site , was a shrine dedicated to the goddess, Leto, and her children by Zeus – Apollo and Artemis – the principal deities of Lycia.

In Xanthos, also  a UNESCO World Heritage Site , the fine theater is dominated by towering tombs. After the 4 th  century BC, nearby Patara became the capital of the Lycian Federation and its port.  Today the harbor has completely silted in and the resulting five-mile-long beach is considered the most beautiful in southern Turkey.  Over the centuries, the magnificent buildings have been covered by the blowing sand. And Turkish archaeologists have been excavating here for the past several years. Cruise to Gemiler Island where we anchor for the night.

Day 10 Gemiler Island

Climb to the top of Gemiler Island to explore the remains of several churches built between the 4 th  and 6 th  centuries AD. This was once a Byzantine trading port crowned by a basilica, and remains of the city completely cover the small island. As we climb to the summit, we pass the ruins of churches, small chapels, tombs and sarcophagi, and walk along an immense covered walkway which leads to the cathedral dominating the island. Following lunch, drive by minibus to visit Pinara one of the three major cities in the Xanthos Valley and one of the six principal cities of Lycia. These little-known remains are dramatically located in a mountain setting of fragrant pines, ancient olive trees, wildflowers, and thyme-scented breezes. Explore Kayaköy where Anatolian Greeks lived until the exchange in 1923. The ghost town, now preserved as a museum village, consists of hundreds of mostly intact Greek-style houses and churches covering a small mountainside. Once back onboard, move on to the enchanting Bay of Sarsala where we anchor for the night surrounded by pine trees. (B/L/D)

Day 11 The Gulf of Fethiye

The Gulf of Fethiye is surrounded by the lower slopes of the Taurus Mountains, pine clad to the water’s edge and surrounded by the ruins of ancient sites. Dotted with small islands, the bay is a naturally protected harbor. The adventurous may want to hike to Lydae, twice visited by Cleopatra but well off the beaten path today.  Still visible are the remains of mausolea, basilica, temple walls, cisterns, Corinthian column parts, and inscribed pedestals from the Roman and Byzantine periods as well as a vaulted Carian rock tomb in two levels dating from the 5 th  or 4 th  century BC. This night will be spent in a tranquil cove in the Gulf of Fethiye. (B/L/D)

Day 12 Ekincek

We meander further north to Ekincek, where in the afternoon we climb aboard a small boat to putt-putt up the meandering Dalyan River. As we travel between the reed-lined banks of the river, we will see royal temple tombs cut into the cliff face towering above. At the end of the short boat ride is Caunos, an important Carian fishing center in ancient times. Although initially settled during the 9th century BC, the buildings standing today are Greco-Roman and include a recently excavated Byzantine church.  (B/L/D)

Day 13 Marmaris

Cruise to Marmaris where we sadly leave our yacht and wonderful crew. While here, we will enter Marmaris Castle, where, according to the renowned historian Heredotus the first city walls were constructed in 3,000 B.C. The bastion was reconstructed by Süleyman the Magnificent during his campaign for the Greek island of Rhodes in 1522, and in 2014, was turned into a museum.

After examining the displays, drive to Bodrum. Tonight’s dinner party will be in a local seafood restaurant along the shore. Overnight for two nights in the boutique Bodrium Hotel with views over the Aegean Sea.  (B/L/D)

Day 14 Bodrum

As a port with a long history that spans thousands of years of continuous habitation, charming Bodrum has an incredibly rich past. In ancient times known as Halicarnassus, this is the location of the Tomb of King Mausolus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.  Today this small city is home for Turkish artists and intellectuals and a major boat building and yachting center.

We will visit the 15 th  century Castle of Saint Peter, built by the Knights of Saint John as part of a network of fortresses to defend the southeastern Aegean. It now houses the Bodrum Archaeology Museum, renowned for its wide range of fascinating underwater findings displayed throughout the Castle in myriad of atmospheric halls and galleries.

Continue to a  tersane , a Turkish shipyard. Here, learn how ancient trading vessels were constructed, and how these techniques carry through to the superb wooden yachts that are used for charter.

Day 15 Transfer to the Bodrum airport

Transfer to the Bodrum airport for our flight to Istanbul, and our international flights home. (B)

LIFE ONBOARD THE YACHT :  You will be spending eight days aboard a traditional gulet, or wooden motorsailer (YES! It sails!), built in Turkey based on designs of vessels that have navigated these waters for centuries. Carefully selected for its comfort and service, they are still yachts with all the limitations of sea travel. Our double-occupancy cabins are finished in varnished pine and fitted with beds, a small wardrobe and a private bathroom. These accommodations are simple but comfortable. We recommend that you pack with comfort and limited storage space in mind.  Even though our gulet is 90 feet long, it draws only a few feet of water, thus enabling us to anchor each night in secluded coves close to the shore.  You will be tempted to begin and end each day with a refreshing swim in the azure waters of the Eastern Mediterranean, as the temperature will be inviting and the visibility excellent.

Travel in This Part of the World

This tour is designed for flexible, energetic people who like to be active, have a spirit of adventure and a positive attitude. We have designed this trip to be as comfortable as possible, while also aiming to visit some remote or unique sites that other companies do not attempt to include in their itineraries. There may be days where we have very long drives and the conditions of the roads may vary. Hotels and transportation in some remote areas may not be up to western standards. There may be times when no bellhops are available; please pack with the understanding that you need to be able to handle your own luggage at times. At times we may be walking over uneven trails for a mile or more; hiking boots are strongly recommended. Not every meal will not be haute cuisine and several lunches may be picnics or box lunches. By maintaining a flexible attitude we will soon be captivated by the beauty of the natural scenery, the hospitality of the local people, and the fascinating sites we will see. Your flexibility and patience will be appreciated.

Itinerary Changes

Changes in our itinerary, accommodations, and transportation schedules may occur. While we are committed to keeping as close to the published details as possible, sometimes it is simply not possible. Weather events, government affairs, or other factors out of our control sometimes come into play. A good book to read as well as patience, flexible attitude, and a sense of humor are essential.

glorious turkuaz tours

After COVID-19 derailed live music for over a year, Turkuaz is thrilled to announce their safe, triumphant return to the road with a 2021 fall tour across the U.S. Special guests Thumpasaurus will offer support on many of the dates.

Artist presale tickets are on sale now, and the general on-sale begins Friday, July 30th at 10:00 AM local time via the band's website: turkuazband.com/tour .

Coming off their first festival set in many months after Floydfest, the band is eager to share that they will be touring throughout the rest of the year. "We’re ready to be back on the bus, trekking around the country, and bringing that energy that only live (and loud) music brings to us and our fans alike," says Turkuaz frontman Dave Brandwein.

Kicking off at Jazz Fest in New Orleans, LA on October 8th during one of the band's absolute favorite weeks of the year, shows will continue throughout the South for much of October. The band then comes home to for two Halloween shows at New York's recently renovated and reopened Webster Hall, before they make their way down the East Coast through November and early December. The band will then hit the Midwest, and even sneak out West with plays in Omaha, NE and Denver, CO on December 10th and December 11th, before the tour wraps in Chicago at Park West on December 18th. These newly-announced dates join Turkuaz's already-shared August 2021 run through the West and Southwestern U.S.

But wait–there's more! To top off the year, Turkuaz will ring in 2022 for their annual New Year's Eve Ball Drop event in Hartford, CT for two nights at Infinity Hall. Find a full list of upcoming dates below and head over to the band's website for tickets and more information.

Palaces for ordinary people – that was what Stalin promised to the people when the construction of the Moscow Metro began between the World Wars. The communist dictator hadn’t promised too much. No other underground system in the world can boast such spectacular architecture – chandeliers, decorations, stucco, paintings on the walls – each station is individually designed. No wonder that Moscow residents love their metro. I will guide you through the bustle of one of the busiest subways in the world and show you the most beautiful stations Moscow city has.

Tour of Communist Moscow – every day

After the Communist October Revolution in 1918, Moscow became the capital of the Soviet Empire and was the center of socialist orbit for more than 70 years. This left its mark on Moscow, even if the USSR disintegrated more than a quarter of a century ago. The city streets are full of remnants of the communist regime and the Cold War. This is a walking tour where I will show you the most exciting places in Soviet Moscow: from the notorious KGB headquarters, also known as Lubyanka to the Karl Marx Monument to small hidden remains from the time of hammer and sickle. You will also learn about Stalin’s Great Terror political campaign and the system of the GULAG and how the USSR, the communist Russian republic, became modern Russia.

This place not only has trendy cafes and green squares, but here you can see the most beautiful spray works (according to Albrecht Dürer), hangout-places of the youth and hipsters, as well as learn what Moscow looked like in the 19th century. Here you will also learn exciting and even bloody stories about famous gangsters, eccentric business people and legends like the wandering preacher Rasputin, who is known in Russia either as the “holy devil” or the mad monk. To learn a little more about Moscow’s culture, this is the tour for you. On my alternative tour, you will get to know Moscow away from the tourist hotspots. This tour is of 2 hours duration and you will experience the following on the tour:

  • St. John’s Hill, a quiet oasis right in the center, where time has stopped as it did in pre-Communist times
  • Khokhlovka Art Center, where Russian hipsters and street artists hang out

In just three days, this Moscow itinerary takes in all the most iconic sights of this attraction-packed destination. After two and half days getting acquainted with the city, we’ve set time aside for you to explore Moscow your way and discover your own favourite hang-outs in a city overflowing with hidden treasures

3-Day Moscow Tour Highlights:

  • Panoramic Tour of Moscow: See Moscow beyond the postcard images on a private excursion by car through the city streets including a drive along the banks of the Moskva River. Visit the famous Bolshoi Theatre, pass by Gorky Park and the Novodevichy Convent, and admire the city from on high at the Sparrow Hill observation platform.
  • Moscow Historical City Centre Guided Walking Tour : Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of one of the world’s biggest metropolises and discover local haunts on foot, including the Red Square, the Kremlin and the multi-coloured domes of St Basil’s Cathedral.
  • Armory Chamber tour: Explore the endless treasures of this unique museum, displaying the wealth accumulated by Russian rulers from the 12th century until the October Revolution of 1917. Walking through the exhibition halls is a journey through the centuries.
  • Moscow Metro Tour : Go deep underground on a subway tour of the famous Moscow metro. The world’s deepest metro system is renowned for its palatial, art-adorned stations, complete with marble columns and chandeliers.

On your first day, you’ll be treated to a panoramic, drive-by tour of Moscow to get a feel for the immense scale of one of the world’s most rapidly developing urban centres. The city’s history unfolds in real-time as you pass lavish imperial mansions, solemn Soviet structures and luxurious modern shopping centres.

Day two kicks off exploring Moscow’s historic centre on foot, followed by a tour of the Kremlin, the seat of Russian power and political intrigue for centuries. Stand in the Red Square, surrounded by the stunning architecture as you hear stories of the people and events behind many of Moscow’s most iconic landmarks.

On your final day, we’ll head beneath the city for a tour of the Moscow Metro and its famously ornate underground stations. Art lovers should hit up one of Moscow’s many world-class galleries such as the Tretyakov State Gallery, the Pushkin Museum or Garage, Moscow’s cutting-edge contemporary art museum. History fans can follow a Soviet trail through the city including Stalin’s Bunker, while those seeking a more indulgent experience can browse trendy neighbourhoods like Kitay Gorod or shop for everything from fashion to kitsch souvenirs at the enchanting Izmaylovo Flea Market. Foodies can head to one of the countless speciality stores sampling vodka, caviar and chocolate.

If you only have a few days to spend in Moscow, this tour will ensure you make the most of your time in the city. Let the experts navigate you through this complex and occasionally overwhelming capital, giving you plenty of time to soak up the city’s most unmissable attractions.

Russia Moscow Tour

Day 1 Panoramic city tour

Welcome to the glorious capital of Russia, Moscow! You’ll be met by your driver at the airport and taken to your centrally located hotel.

After check-in and rest, meet your private guide at the hotel lobby for a comprehensive tour of Moscow by car. Visit the starkly contrasting Theatre Square to see the stunning Bolshoi Theatre, pass Tverskaya Street, the city’s main boulevard and home to the landmark Yeleseyevskiy Grocery Store.

You’ll enjoy a panoramic drive along the Moskva River, where a huge, controversial state of Peter the Great was erected. Pass by the legendary Gorky Park and the White House before a stop at the architecturally stunning Novodevichy Convent, and the observation platform at Sparrow Hills, for a bird’s eye view over this staggering megalopolis.

Day 2 Red Square and Kremlin

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the historical city centre. Stroll through the Red Square, the hub of cultural life in Moscow, with its elaborate ‘stone flower’ fountain and fantasy-like St Basil’s Cathedral – a postcard-perfect symbol of the nation. Admire the grandiose façade of GUM, the city’s most luxurious shopping centre, and visit Alexander’s Garden, with its eternal flame and the chance to watch a changing of the guards.

Break for lunch before continuing on a tour of the Kremlin and Armoury Chamber, famous of its collection of tsarist fashion, with regalia such as jewel-encrusted crowns, orbs and sceptres as well as arms and armour, exotic gifts from the leaders of faraway lands, and an illustrious case of Imperial Faberge eggs.

As an option* spend an evening on a sumptuous dinner cruise, taking in the stunning sights and city lights of this mesmerising metropolis by night.

Day 3 Metro and Arbat Street

Start a day with a tour of Metro, stopping on the way to marvel at some of the most elaborately decorated stations of the world-famous Moscow subway system. Take a stroll along Old Arbat street - the most famous street in Moscow. Through the centuries Arbat used to be one of the most bohemian places in Moscow. Today Arbat is a promenade full of small cozy cafes and street life.

The afternoon is free for you to either enjoy the rest of the day on your own or choose among optional excursions to explore more of Moscow. Visit the Tretyakov Gallery or Pushkin State Museum to admire Russian art. Join locals for a stroll at the Gorky or VDNH park.

Visit beautiful Kolomeskoye Estate or Izmailovo Kremlin, or spend a day exploring the beautiful city of the Golden Ring (Russian province) - Sergiev Posad. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for your departure to your next destination.

Moscow at Night: City Sightseeing Tour by Car/Bus

When the Sun begins to set, the myriad lights and firefly-like cars buzzing around on the wide highways see Moscow burst into life. This unreal sight is best enjoyed from the height of the capital’s famous viewpoints, Moscow in the evening is truly, truly spectacular. We invite you with pleasure to see the magic of Moscow under the bright night lights!

On this tour, you can expect to see incredible views and the magical transformation sunset has on Moscow’s most iconic buildings, the highlights of which being:

  • The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is a more solemn yet festive sight with its dimly lit lanterns.
  • Basil's Cathedral’s fun and colourful onion domes give off the aura of a mysterious castle, growing out of the darkness of the imposing State Duma building nearby.
  • The spectacularly illuminated Bolshoi Theatre and the Alexander Garden walkway, itself painted in a whimsical pattern of shadows.
  • The legendary Lubyanka Square, steeped in secrecy; just its hearing its name after dark is enough to trigger goosebumps, given its murky past.
  • The House on the Embankment, where old legends are revived and ghostly silhouettes lurk.
  • The Russian State Library, where vague shadows have been seen flickering in its windows. Who knows, could this be the legendary bibliologist Rubakin protecting the works of literary art that lie within its walls?
  • Incredible views from the height of the observation deck at Sparrow Hills. The candle-like skyscrapers of "Moscow-City" shoot into the night in a blaze of glorious light, all reflected back to the observer by the dark waters of the Moscow River. Lest not forget the blood-red fountains on Poklonnaya Hill! An absolutely fantastic spectacle which cannot be seen by day.

Our expert guides will share one thousand and one interesting stories about the aforementioned and other sights, whilst at the same time detailing the vast history of our beautiful capital, past and present.

Come with us and treat yourself to an unforgettable experience amongst the bright lights if Moscow!

The Glorious Sons 2023/2024 North American Tour

Two-time JUNO Award-winning rock band  The Glorious Sons  have announced the Glory Tour , with dates across North America. The Glory Tour will feature special guests The Blue Stones.

Tour began September 6 in Pittsburgh, PA, the North American run will visit 57-cities in both the U.S. and Canada, making stops in Nashville, Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Edmonton, Calgary, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, and more before wrapping in St. Catharines on February 17, 2024. The tour will also feature a special hometown show, with the band taking over Kingston, ON’s Leon’s Centre on December 31 to ring in the New Year.

The Glorious Sons  delivered the resilient brand-new single ‘ Mercy Mercy ’ in partnership with Warner Music Canada and ADA. Sounding both familiar and unprecedented, ‘ Mercy Mercy ’ displays a remarkably vivid sonic approach alongside, heartfelt lyricism while amplifying the multi-platinum certified band’s more anthemic and unapologetically ambitious side.

Of the single, lead singer / songwriter Brett Emmons shares, “Mercy Mercy is my own quiet little prayer. It’s me fighting through some twisted process of self-forgiveness and acceptance. It’s a glimpse into my inner dialogue, however hilarious or concerning that might sound. A friend told me that this album sounds like someone at war in their own mind. In that context, I think this song is about faith in oneself, and one’s future—even if the past is always still there . ”

Produced by Brett Emmons and Frederik Thaae ‘ Mercy Mercy’ is a testament to The Glorious Sons, and in particular Emmons, ability to conquer his own bullshit and let go of the harmful narratives one often serves rent free to their cerebral centre point. A reflection of the struggles one faces, the song dives into the depths of the human experience, exploring themes of redemption, vulnerability, and the relentless pursuit of personal growth.  With its spirited chorus, and vast depth of artistic input, ‘ Mercy M ercy’ is a sonic journey that demands to be heard.

Hailing from Kingston, Ontario, The Glorious Sons have steadily pushed the boundaries of modern rock music – by consistently being deeply personal and wholly universal. Their previous releases have garnered critical acclaim and commercial success earning them multiple JUNO Awards, sold-out tours, and a dedicated global fanbase.

Glory , the fourth studio album from 2x JUNO Award winning rock band The Glorious Sons is out now via Warner Music Canada and ADA Worldwide . Renowned for their chart-topping hits and captivating live performances, The Glorious Sons are once again poised to make an impact on the musical landscape with today’s 10-track release.

Lead singer Brett Emmons shares his perspective on the album’s inspiration and themes: “When I listen back to this album, it kind of presents itself as one big inner struggle puked out for everyone to hear. Sometimes it actually embarrasses me quite a bit—but that’s what was in there, so—life goes on, I guess.” He attributes the album’s themes to spending time alone and confronting his inner thoughts during the pandemic: “It kind of feels like the acknowledgment of that annoying pain of what it means to be human.”

Turkuaz Announce Fall 2021 Tour with Thumpasaurus

Turkuaz announced that they will be traveling around the United States for their fall 2021 tour, July 28. They will be accompanied on tour by the LA-based quintet Thumpasaurus.

Turkuaz’s tour will kick off at Jazz Fest in New Orleans on Oct. 8. Their shows will continue around the south through much of October. The band will then make their way to New York’s Webster Hall for a Halloween run, before they trail down the East Coast, through December. The band is set to hit the West for shows in Omaha, Neb., Denver and Chicago.

“We’re ready to be back on the bus, trekking around the country, and bringing that energy that only live music brings to us and our fans alike,” said Turkuaz frontman Dave Brandwein in a statement.

These newly-announced dates are in addition to Turkuaz’s Aug. 2021 run through the West and Southwestern U.S.

The band also recently announced their annual New Year’s celebration The Ball Drop.
